While I’m not at all a fan of child Whump yet I liked the way the body modification (Gus’s antler being cut off) was written and the lab scenes in Sweet Tooth, I feel so bad for my boy 😭

The lost boys musical is a better idea then the CW show in this essay I will-

I mean let’s be real, musicals half the time at least give a remote bit of faithfulness to the Og when they translate it into a musical

THE GLORY THAT IS FINDING NEMO THE MUSICAL

They keep the og alive while adding some extra songs and a little bit more maturity , however in some cases it goes ... wrong

Newsies Broadway - keep the song titles but that’s literally it nothing else but the names David and jack and les are the same

Heather’s- it’s a fun musical but it kinda loses everything the movie was trying to be , subtle , dark , smart and is just really loud and campy

However with tv shows... mainly anything by CW , they focus to much on what kids these days ‘ like’ instead of trying to do right by the actual audience ... the fans of the og.

I fear the show is going to be actual batshit

“Here’s your gen z protaganist! A 12 year old boy” *actor is very much a 30 year old man with rippling muscle and shit acting but it’s ok because he’s cute*

I bet you like $10 the whole thing is going to be in fucking greyscale to make it edgy. Please muted colors aren’t it...

Welcome your diverse cast(it is very mixed actually from what I’ve seen??) of straight vampires likely fighting over star because that’s all teen shows do now days

Where things like .... stranger things. Proved that you can accurately keep a show set in a believable 1980s setting and PEOPLE WILL WATCH ANd be super invested. Just because your charecters can dress modern , say “fleek” and be on tik tok Will NOT make the show good nor will it get you that teen audience

Meanwhile the musical out here has a compelling storyline (you know how much a sucker I am for prequel shit) and what seams to be music that will actually fucking fit with the charecters.

Do you dislike aladian 2019?

Goodness, no! I adore the remake and it's by far my favorite of all the live action remakes Disney has done. If you look back in my archive to roughly mid-May 2019 you'll see this blog turned into Aladdin central for a few weeks after the remake first hit theaters. I've been a huge Aladdin nerd — movie, sequels, TV series, the entire Disney canon — since the original movie came out when I was 8 years old.

So, regardless on whether or not you can or can’t, in this story Ben definitely published the graphic novel from prison and is STILL in prison as of the end of chapter 51. I’m pretty sure most everyone didn’t think otherwise, but just in case, hopefully this clears up some confusion.

NIGHT FIREWORKS SHOW—CHAPTER 1—

Notes; Punk/Royal AU, trying a new format plus writing style, probably a series, mainly humor and cuteness, still a coherieant plot, set in a sort of desert area, sorta like mexico, kinda inspired by aladian, ok im done, sort of a drama/play sort of writing style??, idk ok, im done.

Lenevery sighed as she ran her fingers through her hair. Her white hair with green highlights was down and messy, this was the one time were she was able to relax.

“Princess Lenevery!!” A servant came in the room slowly looking around before walking towards the first in line.

“Oh, Venus, there you are.” Lenevery smiled slightly turning around to the vertiago skin colored girl.

“There was a break in! I don’t know how they got in..but they stole the crown!! YOUR CROWN for TODAY’S CERAMONY to be more specfic!!!!” The maid informed, already stressed out.

“…” The shorter princess sighed deeply, before turning away and looking at the night sky.

“Find them.” She simply said, sparing a glance at the maid with the corner of her eye.

The purple haired maid perked up before nodding straight away.

“Yes, princess!” Venus said before rushing out the royal’s door to pass along the order.

Lenevery stood in silence for a few seconds before shaking her head.

“Typical outlanders/outliers, will take anything they think has value, or to simply rile the nobilty.” She scoffed in between closing her eyes

Meanwhile, A group of people were celberating in tavern.

“WOOO!!” They all clinked their glasses together.

“You know, I’m still surprised that actually worked..” A girl with black hair and purple eyes raised a eyebrow between scoffing/laughing.

“Oh c’monn Hira!’ It’ssss litterally a celabration drink!’ The least you can do is smile for more then five seconds.” A guy in a white and black outfit laughed in between sluring words.

“Ugh! Are you drunk already?!” The other grimnaced, trying to make space in between her and the sibling.

“How do you feel about this, Kai? I would love to pick your brain on how you came up with a plan like this.” Maya smiled before stars filled her eyes.

“Oh please, stop acting like it was only me, Akari-!” Kai tried to act humble.

“Kaiii, you litterally broke in, stole the crown, AND distracted the guards!” Astro pointed out while taking another sip of their drink.

“Yeah…but.-!” Kai was cut off again.

“Guys!! I hate to break up the party, but we got company!!” A ginger whispered up before everyone stood up and carefully steeped around to the back part of the bar.

The group of theifs manuvered around the backside and another black haired girl, but with three white stripes on her left bang stepped forward. She quitely walked to a open area that had a few stairs in front of it, but she pulled a lever that was on the ground to one of the areas. The rest of the theifs rushed inside of the open area before a sturdty wall covered it.

A group of three people walked inside the tavern, sparing a side eye to the ‘dirty lowborns’ who were having a drink.

“Spread out, search the place!“ A brunette orderd, looking at the two others.

“Yes, cheif!!” They responded.

A long blue haired girl in the higher Runkia uniform looked around the area with her light brown eyes.

“Evergarden! Check around the back, won’t you?” The cheif called out again, his own deep blue eyes connecting with hers.

She nodded before walking around back, as ordered. She blinked a few times, watching the very edge of a brick wall slid into place.

“A- Wait a second!!” She tried to push the wall but it was solid in place.

She tried a few more things, like prying it open, slamming her body weight aganist it (which hurt), and kicking it.

Ace shook her head once the kicking had failed and sighed.

“Pfft-Ahahaha!!” A voice laughed at the girl.

The solider tensed and blushed before whipping around to the other person.

“Who are you?!!” She erked, annoyed at them laughing at her.

“Ah. Sorry, the name’s Reko Damershera, the barhand at this tavern.” They introduced theirself, still grinning.

“Come! This way!” The britsh inventor who had pulled the lever said, walking up the steps.

“Woah, way to cut the party short, stupid noble legion…” Astro complained, rolling her golden eyes.

The rest followed Suimuki as she pulled another lever at the top of the steps that moved a part of the wall away. Revealing a completly dark, tunnel that was rather cramped and short. You could even see cobwebs and spiders if you really looked.

“Ughhhh..do we really have to go in there?!” Maya grimnaced, making a face.

“Yes, unless you want your head on a stick.” Kai simply repiled before pushing past the blonde and crouching down before heading in the dark tunnel.

The rest all turned and shot a look at one another before relcluently following after the white-nette red highlighted girl.

“Ah!- Hey! Don’t push!!” A voice yelled, wincing when they were pushed again.

“Well then, hurry up, princess!” A sarcastic voice echoed behind them.

“Shut up!!”

“Ew!! Is that a spider?!” A frantic voice called before they stopped, making the rest annoyed.

“Celeste, please keep moving..” A tired soft voice spoke.

The said girl kept moving and walked.

Once everyone left the crumbly tumble, they all looked around at one another.

“Um..Reki stay still for a second..” Henira reached out towards the pink-nette.

They grimnaced as they pulled a spider from the confused formers hair. But before the other could get a good look at the thing, Henira quickly tossed it behind them.

“What was that?” The vertigo skin colored girl asked.

“What was what???” Everyone pretended to look away and play dumb. To top it off, Aether started whistling while she looked away.

Lenevery, on the other hand was out on her balcony, looking down below at the sands.

“Hey Len!..” She heard a soft voice speak, she turned around to see Gensis.

“Oh.., hello Gensis, what are you doing??” Lenevery plastered a small smile onto her lips.

“Lenevery. You don’t have to smile around me. I heard what happend, well practically all of Runkia did.” Gensis firmly said, looking away from the first in line.

“Oh really? What should I do now??” Lenevery dropped her smile and raised a eyebrow at the fourth in line.

“The people still want you to be coordinated the queen, the legion is looking around for the outlanders, and…we are trying to find a replacement crown, for the meanwhile..” The ghost eyed girl said, now messing with pieces of her own hair.

Lenevery sighed, once more before turning around and now looking up instead of down. She looked at the stars that glittered and blinked in hello.

“Why do outlanders steal?” Lenevery bluntly asked, she already had her own opinons on the matter but wanted Gensis’s.

“Why do outlanders steal?” Gensis hummed in thought, repeating the question.

“I guess it’s because they never have anything special like us to begin with. And when a outlander is born they practically have no chance of coming up the ranks, or getting insane welath. Outlanders have almost always stole from us, and we have always chased them. They take what they cannot have because they simply know that they can never have it. So it’s easier to take it when it’s out in the open for taking, yes?” Gensis took a sharp breath in before continuing.

“Then again, I guess that’s why I feel sorry for them in a way. Outlanders have no other choice, no other way of servival but to steal, have criminal records. If they didn’t live like this, then they would all die. And some might say that’s a good thing, but I disagree. This is the way we’ve always lived, if we suddenly lost a fundimental part, It would be losing a part of our ecosystem, our way of living. So that’s why I feel as if…if we leave them alone, maybe it would be better for all of Runkia.” Gensis trailed off at the end of her thoughts.

“So basically, you think it would be better if they just kept the crown?” Lenevery turned around again, but the expression on her face wasn’t anger. No, it was just confusion.

But before Gensis could respond, the princess started speaking again.

“Is it because you think we should be focusing on me? And my crowning and ball tonight, is that it?” Lenevery stepped away from the railing of the balcony and instead stepping a little closer to Gensis.

“I-Er-…Yes..?” Gensis stumbled over her words, a little embrassed. This embrassment was proved further by the a little pink on her cheeks.

“Ah..your too kind Gen’..” Lenevery smiled geniuly, reaching for the palers hand.

Gensis let Lenevery grab her hand and Lenevery squeezed both her hands between it, holding it between the middle of the two. The white-nette with green highlights thoughts Gensis’s hands were oddly soft, while the other thought Lenevery’s hands were oddly cold.

But soon enough, the to be crowned princess let go of Gensis’s hand in which seemed to be embrassment before whipping around. She made a motion for the other to leave as she returned to her previous spot.

Gensis stood there for a moment, staring at the pretty girl before nodding and leaving through the princesses room.

Back to the outlanders, they all started walking through the streets of the undercity. They passed by vendors and traders who gave them looks, mainly to the bag on Kai’s back. People smoked, drinked, did deals, and got blood stained money down here. The group that our curnett group belonged to was among the most respected down here.

“You think they know we stole it?” Astro asked Kai while walking beside the shorter, their hands in their pockets.

“Probably..” Kai trailed off, sweat-dropping at all the looks they got.

After a little while of walking, the group ended up at a oil ridge. This had a circluar opening with the name ‘Celestia’ and they walked in. After the walked out of the circular opening they looked at the building in the center, this was were they lived. It was abadoned and it was rusty, having graffti here and there and they tried they’re best to make it well lit.

“Ughhhh, finally home!” Reki groaned before sighing in relief. They strechted out their back a little before cracking their knuckles.

“I know, right, talk about needing to knock out right away..” Astro agreed with the other’s obvious tiredness.

“Let’s just go inside, guys.” Celeste said, taking the lead and straight-forwardly walking in the buliding.

“More like talk about ditiching us right away.” Aether shot a teasing look at Astro even though it was a remark about Celeste, before walking into the buliding aswell.

The group of outlanders finally all entered the buliding. Low dimmed lights that glowed a comforting warm lit up the hallway. Mostly everyone had yawned and left to the direction for their rooms. The only people that were still there were, Suimuki, Kai, and Maya.

“Ah, Suimuki, are you going to bed?” Maya smiled, slightly leaning over to the black-nette.

“Oh? No, I can’t. I have to work on a new invention of mine, hopefully I can get it done before Aether breaks her mechancial arm again and needs another repair.” Suimuki said, blinking away the tiredness that had formed in her eyes.

“Ah, okay, well, at least try and get some rest.” Maya said, smile slightly falltering for a second before Suimuki waved and walked away. The slight clink and tinkering was heard as she walked away.

“I should probably sleep too, we’ll tell the others how it went come morning.” Kai said, shifting a little. They rubbed one of their red eyes before blinking a little.

“Ok, goodnight darling!” Maya smiled with her blue eyes closed before watching Kai slowly walk up to the second floor.

Shortly after Kai left, Maya became tired and she rolled her neck before going to her room aswell.

The buliding became a almost silent as the faint sound of Suimuki quietly writing down things from her worksop was the only real sound that filled the white noise.
