hes horribly uneducated on this topic, and definitely the worst person to be stuck with when you start.

ryuji definitely thought it was a little gross at first too, but once he understood it was just a normal thing your body did he felt more okay about it.

hes trying super hard to be a good boyfriend, but hes stuttering over his questions. barely able to ask you if he needs to get you anything.

i swear his eyes almost popped out of his head when you said all you wanted was for him to shut up and cuddle with you. 💀💀

he tries to be there for you as much as possible, but if you tend to get more angry, just note that hell try to stay away a bit.

CROW // GORO AKECHI

oh boy, akechi sure is a character. and i think with him it depends.

usually though hes just a pretty average guy. hes not stupid, but he also isnt the best at understanding your emotions, or his own, for that matter.

youre in public, akechi talking to one of the tv hosts after hes finished appearing on a show, and you gently tug on his jacket to let him know you started your period, and need the restroom.

hes conflicted, whats supposed to come first, you or his reputation? when it comes to him, he makes any simple situation way more complicated in his head.

he makes an eternal sacrifice to shoo away the people talking to him, and he quickly takes off his jacket to wrap it around your waist. you both find a bathroom nearby and he paitently waits for you outside.

when you walk out, he offers to pick up whatever you may need (including some food) and take you home.

at your front door, he kisses your cheek, but cant help but noticed the nervous expression on your face.

its only then when you mention that akechis jacket is, in fact, a light color, and is most definitely stained now with bright red blood. his face goes blank, and youre worried for a second he might be mad.

he only shrugs at that, same detective prince smile as always, and jokes that youre paying for his dry cleaning.

THE QUEEN OF THE DAMNED (1988)

Finally finished Part I! Here are some of my pretty unorganized thoughts.

(Spoilers ahead) (tw mention of incest)

PART I: THE ROAD TO THE VAMPIRE LESTAT

A lot going on. It was actually hard to keep going at some point, a lot of exposition and it was frankly very boring at times. The entire Baby Jenks chapter could have been skipped. The biggest thing I’ve taken away from Part I is Anne’s obsession with red hair. Anyway, here are some of the things I liked!

Truly unhinged intro from Lestat where he literally says, “hey remember me?? left you on a cliffhanger there!! also let’s switch to third person bc the story just flows better that way.”

Marius trapped under the ice where he belongs.

Pandora chapter was like a fever dream. And also damn you eat like that?? Literally ripping hearts out, but lowkey that’s such a goddess move.

Got to the famous Devil’s Minion chapter!! I was really excited for this one.

It was very sweet actually. Armand is a terror, but his intensity is what I love about him. Loved him since the iwtv book, what a character. Him finally turning Daniel, that whole scene was heartbreaking. Also what does Armand need 8 phones for? Love how they kept his love for tech in the show lol he’s always on that iPad.

Finally introduced to the Talamasca. I assumed from what I occasionally saw online that they were this like all powerful group that had like a one-up on the paranormal creatures that they investigate (or like some sort of council for anything supernatural), but I was kinda let down when finding out they are humans with just a little bit of psychic powers. But I’m pretty sure I don’t know the full story yet.

Also it’s cute that Anne starts every chapter with her husband’s poetry. Though they’re not all my cup of tea, I liked the one at the beginning of the Jesse chapter.

I like Jesse! This chapter reminded me a lot of the Mortal Instruments actually lol, both Clary and Jesse join a supernatural related order and are unknowingly related to supernatural beings (and both have red hair lol). I like that Mael makes a reappearance, he was the only part I liked about Marius’s backstory from TVL. Also, Anne Rice try writing a close familial relationship without making it weirdly incestuous challenge impossible. Maharet’s attitude towards Jesse made me wildly uncomfortable.

The part where Jesse goes to New Orleans was true horror. I was shaking in my bed sheets reading it, seriously. Claudia haunting the New Orleans townhouse, my poor baby. Hope that more of the diary gets revealed in this book.

And that’s about it!

For such a long part that’s honestly all I’ve got to say. I’m glad to finally be done with it tbh and we can finally get to the present day. I learned from Jacob’s podcast appearance that Anne did not have an editor which explains a lot lol. I fear for what is awaiting me.

Predictions: I had thought that Maharet was actually Pandora, but then read back and saw that Pandora has brown hair so I guess not. If a character has red hair Anne will let you know multiple times. Which is why I feel like Armand might be part of the Great Family. Or maybe his red hair is garden variety type, idk.

I will probably post chapter by chapter going forward! Or however I please I guess lol. Excited to start Part II: All Hallow’s Eve!!

Bonus: Lestat calling himself the James Bond of vampires, he’s got jokes.

Warning: confusion but not homophobia

Eddie had been dreading this day. Whether it be for better or worse, he still pushed it back as far as he could. Whenever Venom would bring it up it would always be a ¨later¨ or ¨im busy¨ or ¨not now¨

Eddie.

¨ Jesus, Venom. You scared the crap out of me.¨

You are nervous.

¨Yeah, well, it's not every day you tell your ex girlfriend that you are dating your parasite.¨

Parasite?

Eddie just rolled his eyes, pulling out the tray of tater tots from the toaster oven. Venom formed off of Eddie's shoulder to devour the tots. Eddie knew Venom would be right back to asking questions after he was done eating but the quiet was nice.

Anne was coming over soon, Dan was with her. Eddie had cleaned up the apartment the day before, not really wanting to hear Anne scold him for letting Venom destroy the place.

Eddie was sitting on the couch, feet up on the coffee table.

There is no need to be worried, Eddie.

¨i mean, there's a little bit of a need.¨

Venom forms one Eddies shoulder again.

¨she will not judge us.¨

¨she might.¨

¨you are being dumb, eddie.¨

¨wow, that makes me feel so much better.¨

¨is that sarcasm?¨

¨yes. Its sarcasm.¨

Venom made a humming sound like he was pleased with himself before sinking away. Eddie loved Venom, that's why he was putting up with all of this, but sometimes Venom could be a little much for Eddie. Especially times like this when Eddie was moments away from a panic attack.

Eddie had to prepare himself, metaly. He had a feeling that Dan would accept it as is. As long as it keeps Eddie happy and healthy. Seems like it should be Dans catchphrase. He also had a feeling Anne wouldnt understand. He had a feeling she would scold him like some kind of child. She had done it before. But he also felt like she knew it was coming. After the whole ordeal with the spaceship and Venom leaving Eddie, he found out that it was Venom's idea to kiss Eddie. Who knows.

Honestly, Eddie felt a little guilty. ´a little´, he felt really guilty. Not only for what he has done, with anne´s job, but also for the fact that Anne and Dan feel like they have to take care of and check on eddie. Sure, he wasn't mentally great, but it should be his ex-fiance and ex-fiance´ s now fiance's problem.

Anne and Dan would go out of their way to make sure Eddie and Venom were ok. Dan would do weekly check ups to make sure Eddie's body was working ok with Venom. Anne would stop by every once in a while to make sure Eddie had enough food and wasn't living in a pigsty. Sometimes, they would invite Eddie out to a really fancy restaurant. Most of the time Eddie would deny, not wanting to be a burden, but the one time he did go he had a great time. Now, Eddie didn't know much about break ups with finances but he did know a lot about girlfriends. Usually they wouldn't talk to Eddie. Usually they would distance themselves. Usually, they wouldn't check on Eddie to make sure his mental health isn't destroying him from the inside out. But, usually, Eddie didn't have an alien in him and had to deal with a whole corrupted organization with an Ex.

Eddie had started pacing back and forth in his apartment by the door. Anne and Dan would be there any second. What ifs´ filled his brain as he chewed on his thumb nail.

Eddie jumped at the tapping at the door. There was no going back now.

They are here, Eddie.

¨i know, Venom.¨

Eddie pulled open the door to be met with the pair that he had been dreading to see sense that morning.

¨Eddie! You look great.¨ Anne smiled, kinda awkwardly.

¨oh, that you. I've been trying the skin care you told me about.¨

No, you haven't.

Eddie internally rolled his eyes.

¨ May we come in?¨ Dan asked with his usually happy smile.

¨yes yes, please.¨

Dan and Anne walked in. Anne shed his coat and placed it on a hook.

¨You said that you had something to talk about? Is everything alright?Anne asked, following Eddie to the old couch and sitting down next to Dan with Eddie sitting in the single arm chair.

¨Yes, everything is fine. Its about Venom.¨ eddie began to figest, messing with one of the beads on his bracelet.

¨Venom? Did he run off again?¨ Dan asked this time, his tone filled with a doctor like worry.

¨No, we are sticking with Eddie.¨ eddie smiled slightly, feeling a little more clamed out not that he wasnt as alone as he was a few minutes ago.

¨so, what did you want to talk about?¨ annes eyebrows were furrowed together.

¨um… well, me and Venom are uh…¨ jesus, how could he say this? What words could he maybe scrape together so this wouldnt be as weird.

¨Me and Eddie are now boyfrieds¨

¨yeah…¨ Eddie agreed.

Dan, like Eddie thought, didnt really have any extreme reaction. To him it seemed like the logical move. If Eddie loved Venom and Venom loved Eddie then, yeah, that makes sense. I mean, if Eddie is loving on Venom he is producing the same chemical Venom craves and Eddie could use someone to love him.

Anne on the other hand was more then confused. Her eyebrows furrowed together. How would something like that work? Venom is inside Eddie and exect for the times Venom formed on his shoulder, they where never really around each other.

¨i uh… how dose that work?¨

¨how dose what work?¨ eddie felt Venom form around his hand.

¨dating… like, you dont really see eachother?¨

¨we talk to eachother a lot, we talk and we eat together, and we watch movies together. Its just like a normal relationship but hes a alien.¨

Anne just looked more confused. She looked over to Dan, almost like she was confirming that she wasnt going crazy.

¨like a long distance relationship. Except Eddie and Venom can see each other whenever they want.¨ Dan explained.

¨and do you two go on dates or…¨

¨eddie took us on a walk the other day. We went to a seafood restaurant too.¨

¨well… i mean its not really my place to pry… whatever make you guys happy.¨ Anne sighed.

¨exactly. Whatever makes you two happy.¨ Dan smiled.

Eddie didnt like the sudden silence that layed across the room. He slightly prayed that venom would do something.

LET ME EXPLAIN FROG FUTURE AU TO YOU ALL. Basically it's an AU in the future surrounded around Sashannarcy's future child, her name is Sam 🤩 And she has two best friends, who find themselves in a bit of a pickle.

⬆️Sam uses she/they pronouns and they're Omnisexual! Now personality wise she's very chaotic, think of younger Eda. She's actually pretty smart, but let's her emotions get the better of her and cloud her judgment, causing to sometimes act impulsively. She isn't afraid to speak her mind though!

Next up we have Molly! (Big thanks to @bunnibee513 for naming her!) Molly is actually trans and uses she/her pronouns, she is also lesbian! She's the mom friend of their trio, she's a very calm and collected person. Yet she's afraid of hurting people's feelings, and sometimes she takes on more then she can chew. She's extremely loyal to people she's close to and puts others before herself. She's just such a sweetheart and I love her! She's also Terri's future child!

Next we have Cecilia! (Lol ignore the second picture 😝) Uses she/him pronouns, and is deminsexual. He jokingly bullies her friends (don't worry isn't full on mean she knows what lines not to cross) it's his way of showing that she trusts them and loves them. Now even though she'll jokingly be mean to her friends, he's actually very nice and respectful towards new people. He actually closes himself off to new people a lot, she has a huge fear of rejection!

Now don't worry, they actually have a good friendship! Their way better then pre-calamity trio was lol. They also have these super ugly neon colored friendship bracelets they all made when they were little, and just decided to never take off 😭😭😭 They're all just so aksueueirk and I love them so much! Anyways, I think it's time we start talking about a bit of the plot for this au.

So it starts off with Sam, they're having a normal day. When they suddenly start hearing voices inside her head, and y'know instead of going to her mom who has a psych degree she decides that they can handle the problem herself, cause she doesn't want to bother anyone. So they decide to go to their basement (or attic still don't know) and she's looking around when she stumbles upon Marcy's old journal. (I'll explain the journal later) but anyways, they read all this stuff about what happened in amphibia, and eventually gets to a part about the core. Who's voices are at this point literally screaming at her to go amphibia (or something still not sure) so she goes to her two best friends. And when they all meet up they're all walking around when they see a music box, almost identical to the one in the journal. So they decide in the heat of the moment, 'hey let's go to another world!' And they buy the music box. Sam tells her friends that they don't have to go with her but they both insist, and decide to meet up later to see if the box even works. Anyways she's back home getting stuff ready, and their parents find out. Now Marcy, Anne, and Sasha obviously don't want her to go because, WELL WATCH THE SHOW AND YOU'LL SEE WHY! but anyways they go back and fourth on this, and during this the core is once again screaming so due to everything, she kinda just snaps and runs off. So they meet their friends, and she's like "WE NEED TO USE THE BOX NOW" and they do and boom they're in another world. (Amphibia)

Now let me explain the journal, since this is an AU Anne gives Marcy her journal back, which has some pages left, because right after Anne left earth she stopped writing in it. So Marcy decides to take over and she gets to the part where the crew believes that they're done with the core and king Andrias. And she runs out of pages but just shrugs it off saying that she'll get another notebook to finish it. (Spoiler alert she never does.) So in Sam eyes, it seems like 'oh, they had access to the box, but probably decided to stop using it and hide it' so obviously this causes a bit of a rift with Sam and her moms. And the core isn't helping with that, but yeah, that's basically it! Sorry if I bore you guys with this lol I just love this AU! If you have any questions FEEL FREE TO ASK I STILL HAVE A BUNCH MORE I LEFT OUT, SO I'LL PROBABLY HAVE ANSWERS TO THEM!! but yeah that's frog future au 🤩

A less serious ask this time, more goofy.

Me and a couple of friends we're discussing what Iris would be like when she's high, and we kinda agreed she gets super giggly and then super stone faced, random spurts of crying and she refuses to explain why. Iris would indeed drink the bong water while Anne watched in disbelief, unable to bring herself to move looking at the funniest person she's ever met in her entire life.

She'd take the fattest fucking rip you've ever seen just because she isn't sure how anything works and end up wrecking her lungs. This would, of course, only come after Anne assures her that you can't overdose on the devil's lettuce and Jackie, with her actual biology degree, backs this up.

Iris is sort of a lightweight as well, so she'd probably just end up laying around in a place she decides is "well-defended" (whatever that means) and eat a slow, steady stream of pita chips or something along those lines. She'd get in her feelings a bunch but refuse to tell anyone what she's actually sad about until someone decides to put on a movie or something to placate her. She would then feel very vaguely lonely and longing but she wouldn't actually understand that because she hates people getting close to her so obviously she wouldn't be wanting that.

In short, moody yet subdued, and slightly hungry and nauseous. Drunk Iris is a different beast, however, and one I've actually considered writing in some capacity down the line. She'd complain about a headache, enter a goldilocks zone where she's really giggly and affectionate, then quickly exit that stage and begin vomiting violently. Once she wakes up the following morning she demands that all physical evidence of the night before be destroyed and all parties involved sign binding NDAs.

I've acutally got a bit of a scene from this on my phone somewhere, as when I'm in bed and need to type something down before I forget I just do it on my phone rather than my sandbox, the latter of which is technically public. I've got dialogue between Iris and Anne that could kill a fully-grown elephant on there.

I am here to deliver two things. First one is a promise (I think?) and the second one is me combining hermits/empire characters into Six The Musical as I am currently hyperfixated on both.

Alrighty, first order of business. If Scar wins this next round against Doc, his toughest opponent probably, I will either make the completed Contract oneshot I was writing (5k word minimum although it’s gonna be more around 10k prolly) or I write a 5k word minimum oneshot of the Oasis Au. I really need Scar to win ok?

Now onto the Six x Hermit/Empires.

I do want to clarify, that I am, indeed, talking about the musical and not the actual wives, but the way how the musical portrays them. Furthermore, I know there’s kinda two versions on Spotify, the recorded and the live. I’ll be talking similarities to the live unless stated otherwise. Also, I completely understand that these are all gonna be super unpopular opinions but I wanted to share.

Here’s the little list of who I assigned to who first and foremost.

Catherine of Aragon - Tango

Anne Boleyn - Scott

Jane Seymour - Gem

Anne of Cleves - Ren

Katherine Howard - Scar

Catherine Parr - Pearl

Now for me to explain myself

I chose Tango for Aragon mainly due to how she acts throughout the entire musical. She lets her emotions lead her mainly, quick to anger or to resort to violence. Not to mention her way of talking just screams Tango to me. And I’m not saying Tango is quick to anger, but the rage thing y’know. Plus, I could totally see him singing No Way for some reason.

My second choice for her would be Sausage, but I definitely feel like Tango just carried more of her energy.

Scott and Boleyn are honestly so alike it’s not even funny. They both just try having a good time but are so extremely petty. Like Boleyn never letting anyone forget she no longer has a head and Scott would probably hold things over people’s heads. But yeah, so similar personality wise although, I’d argue Scott is a little more patient.

Second choice was Grian cuz he’s short.

Next up we have Gem and Seymour! Seymour’s song is extremely emotional and moving (despite the fact I dislike it until like halfway) and in my opinion, Gem’s someone who expresses their love easily. And she is also strong, her love for people unwavering what ever gets thrown at her, she is just an endless ball of love. I dunno where else I was going with this.

Katherine was my second option, but I felt like she’d have a more kickass version of the song.

(This is embarrassing but I wrote everything else before realizing I forgot Cleves and Ren. Lmao) So, again, I am goung based off the live version of Get Down and just Cleves in general. Her character acts pretty dramatic, like when she was pretending to have a terrible life. And then her song is just really fun and upbeat. And well, obviously Ren is someone who likes being dramatic and doing bits of rp and is also really chipper and overall always seems to be having a good time.

Now you might be thinking Doc would be my second choice since he’s German. However it was Etho. However, I thought Etho fit better with the recorded version rather than the live.

Now you may be wondering how I got Howard and Scar instead of Howard and Grian. And the answer is quite simple, because I want to. Anywho, obviously Scar is extremely attractive so obviously people would wanna hit that. But he can also be pretty oblivious and naive, just like how Howard was growing up and being taken advantage of. And well, ig this kinda goes into DL, but Scar kinda becomes resentful with Grian abusing his kindness by having a secret soulmate just like how Howard becomes resentful of just being used as a plaything.

Grian was my second option cuz of Ariana Griande.

And Lasty, Parr and Pearl. Both of these women are so strong and amazing for what they had to endure. Going into DL again, Pearl deals with her soulmate abandoning her by loving something else and becoming independent while Parr has to give up her life for survival. Both of them are just so strong.

And actually, can’t lie, Grian’s my second option here again too. Why? Well actually, it’s cuz of the need to survive. Grian always feels the need to please others to better his chance of survival through allies just like how Parr had to please the king in order to live.

I know it isn’t the best arguments, and I’m sure y’all could find better people to pair. However, that’s just what I thought of and since I’m a maladaptive daydreamer, I think of this too often I had to share.

Hello me again. Still trying to fight off sleep issues so I present to you: more Courage, Koridai, and Sprite headcannons. They're kinda long sorry.

Koridai and Courage alternate nicknames were a little hard for me to figure out since we know so little ab them from the source material, however I have come up with something.

Thought process: The chain's alt nicknames (I'll call them ANNs for simplicity) have been around their occupation before or during their journeys - Champion/Smithy, Sailor/Captain - or have been to do with experience (such as age like 'Old Man', or amount of adventures like 'Veteran').

For Courage, it was a little more to do with after his journey. He becomes Wisdom's partner, which would make him Prince Consort. Hence forth, I propose to you all the ANN: 'Prince'. (Also fits with the design I gave him a bit).

Koridai's ANN was a lot trickier. From the little we get of his actual background from the CD-i games' cutscenes, we only really discover that he's got some relation to the royal family to be so close with King Harkinian (who also shares the name w Courage's King fun fact), Princess Zelda, Impa etc. We know literally nothing about Link. So I improvised a little backstory for him to solve this. If anyone has any better ideas, please voice them to the public, I was struggling.

Essentially, Koridai is from a family of important merchants who control the travel of goods in the kingdom, making them quite close to the Royal family so they can import and export resources across the land, and change trading routes. So basically, my boy comes from status. He got his sword and shield not from the castle, but from his auntie who is the head of the family. She took one listen to the prophecy and gave him this sword and shield made of high-quality metals with that enchantment Hyrule has on his. Might even go a step further and place the games in the timeline by saying it IS Hyrule's sword idk. Anyways all this to say what if we give the ANN 'Trader' or 'Merchant' to Koridai.

Also if we're giving Sprite an ANN, it would be obvious to name her 'Fairy' but that's like nicknaming one of the Chain 'Hylian'. So since she doesn't have a job and basically no prior experience, I encourage you to choose from 'Trickster' if she's more on the mischievous side, or 'Clematis' which is a type of flower I used in her design.

(Fun fact, struggled so much w Koridai, I debated on whether or not to suggest 'Mirror' after the one he gets trapped in in Wand of Gamelon. I decided against it) __________________________________________ Ages are fun! And is also a great way of showing dynamics, personality, and explain any downright tomfoolery. So we're doing that with Koridai, Courage, and Sprite.

Imo, Sprite would rather beat Courage with a stick than admit her age, so its largely unknown. But, since she's fae and (from my research) they live to ab 500-600, I'd estimate she's around 250 years old.

Courage, the absolute fool, is about 14. Generally bc it explains why he's so cringey and stupid, but I feel like he'd be ashamed of it upon hearing that people younger than him have achieved much greater (ie, Wind, Time, Legend, Hyrule etc). He's prob real self conscious ab it so sometimes exaggerates his behaviour to make the Chain think he's younger than he is. Maybe he's even lied about it.

Koridai I'd put at squarely 16 or 17. He's been on essentially 3 adventures by now, 2 where he's needed rescuing, so there's prob a year at least between them. He's cringey but in the way that nightcore kids used to be seen by people in 2010s iykwim. Basically just a whole lot of self esteem issues and helplessness packed into one bundle and hidden away with a cocky attitude and cringey behaviour.

Hey, hey. I'm back to debrief just a bit.

track: Supermodel - SZA

So, October.

It's finally getting nice out! Cool 65-70 degrees in the morning and a high of 80-90. That's pretty cool for Las Vegas. This place is heatstroke central. Kinda sad that my tan is going away, though. Anyways, I'm really loving the weather and just being able to sit out in the sun without burning.

The past two weeks of October has been a little hectic for me, lol. Per usual, I'm always working, but I'm taking a semester off of school so I have a lot more free time to myself. It's crazy because I just told my best friend that I feel kinda stupid when I'm not studying because I'm so used to reading books, writing essays, and what not. Now that I have real time for myself...I'm off my usually schedule and I'm still trying to get used to it. I've occupied a lot of my time going to the gym and attempting to stay consistent. I just get so exhausted after work, but I know it'll be worth it so I just think of the end goal and OBVIOUSLY, it motivates me. I've also been spending a lot of time with Hannah and her family. I am in love with their relationship with each other; you can feel the lightheartedness and the love they have for one another. It makes me happy that I've become a part of their family and so has the extensions of me. My favorite, new part of my schedule has been spending SO much time with V. (I have been trying to describe how I feel, but no words can explain this. You can't make this shit up...Ima attempt this). The best way I can really describe it is...funny, I wrote this in a letter I gave him...but it feels like SPRING. It's a season of the weather getting warmer, people start to sit outside in restaurants, and everything feels...refreshing. Like, you just went through the pits of cold air and hoodies, but now you can dress in lighter clothing, sit under the sun and still won't sweat in a jacket, and ground yourself by spending time outside. Leaves look brighter, water tastes more crisp, and you get more sleep. My favorite season, everyone seems happier. I got so emotional today, and yesterday, about the way I feel for V. I can't pin what it is, but I believe it's just a major realization that wow...I am so happy. And guess what? This applies to every aspect of my life. I am just...so happy. So grateful I am supported and loved by people I hold in high regards. It feels like I'm growing in a healthier space because I'm able to do things on my own time. I am so proud of myself for being able to share this part of my life with someone who is so supportive and understanding. It feels so good that I can be able to go to him. I haven't really gone to him about something dire, but it makes me laugh because I don't know how I found myself here, but c'est la vie. He is so kind, to everyone, but he needs to be kinder to himself. I love growing with him because it feels so easy. We work very well together, it's kinda terrifying. Never have I felt a love this strong. I'm so happy to love, and be loved, by you. I might cry again HAHAHA. Got a little sidetracked, but, yeah. I do make time to spend time with just myself. Little things like this, when I debrief, but not really. More like a dump. Or when I gym. Can't really think of it right now. But, yeah, happy Anne.

I'm a little meh, as well, that I haven't seen or talked to my girls but I love hearing, when we catch each other, that they're doing well. Everyone's just doing their own thing, basking in their adolescence, and really...feeling their feels. Everyone has their own definition of 'doing well', but I mean this in a way where we understand that we're trying to figure out shit right now and there's nothing wrong with prioritizing things important to you. I just love that whenever we do get a chance, it feels as though nothing has changed. We're just in our twenties now, making the effort to experience life. Special message to my girlies: I love you. It's time to lock in. Headass. Not really, lol. But, I know you guys are thriving in your space..or not, can be both on some days. Nevertheless, I am so proud of where we've gotten, and where we're going, because we worked hard on this. We're still learning, but it's so nice to hear and see that you guys are keeping things in the wraps.

Wow, I hope that was a good debrief. I just listened to all of CTRL and I feel so thankful. I love this life I live.

Well, okay! I'm not good at summarizing stuff, so sorry in advance! I'm also writing these without rereading the Bonus SS so there may be small inaccuracies in these summaries. Some of these are gonna be longer than others depending on how much of I still remember lmao

I still suggest everyone go buy the manga volumes and give them a read, these extra chapters are so fun it makes me wish the anime fillers are always these wacky and entertaining (in fact I had to put writing this on hold because Season 2 adapted one of these, kinda XDD)

// spoilers for the hamefura manga volume bonus ss/special oneshots

Volume 1 - Untitled

Bakarina wakes up and realizes that she has no control over her body. She is confronted with a familiar scene of Katarina bullying Maria in Fortune Lover, and realizes that she's experiencing it from a first person point of view: through Katarina's eyes. She comments on how cruel Katarina is and explains the different ways she'd treat Maria differently, until Keith and Geordo arrive to save Maria. Bakarina feels unnerved and saddened by the angry and hateful looks that Keith and Geordo are giving her (Well it's Katarina, but Bakarina feels like they are look at her), and nervously wakes up from the dream. It is revealed that the dream took place some time before her arrival at the Magic Academy, and that she vows to work hard not to fall into a Bad End so that she'll never receive such hateful looks and be scorned by the otome game characters who she now considers to be her closest friends.

Volume 2 - Doom Route★Private School

Katarina gets awoken by Anne telling her that she needs to get ready to school. Katarina is surprised to find out that she has a school uniform and that she'll be heading to school in a fancy car. Anne tells Katarina that Keith won't be coming with her because he's already at school. When she gets there, she gets greeted by Keith who is part of the School's Disciplinary Committee. She is also greeted by Geordo, the SC President and his twin brother Alan, the Secretary. Keith's job is to check everyone's uniforms, so he reprimands the twins for their custom uniforms. Geordo tells him that he'll just have the rule changed, and that Keith's uptight attitude is why he doesn't have a girlfriend. This is how Katarina finds out that the engagement between Geordo and her is a verbal agreement between families, so she's technically engaged to him but it's not official.

After meeting up with all her friends, Katarina enters the classroom to find it looking just like her old one in Japan. She finds that she had scribbled doom flag avoidance plans on her desk and notebooks, and realizes that she's still in an otome game. Maria then enters and is introduced as the new scholarship student, and Katarina runs out to read her notebook. Everything is the same, from capture targets to rival characters , except the setting is a modern. Katarina finds out that her bad ends only lead to her getting either expelled and transferred or getting a restraining order. Katarina becomes confident in befriending Maria, and enthusiastically plans to enjoy her new life in a modern school. The chapter ends with Katarina buying lots of melon bread from the cafeteria, and wakes up form the dream before she could eat it.

Volume 3 - My Next Life in a Fantasy RPG

Katarina is awaken by Miri, who tells her that she is late and that she needs to eat breakfast. Katarina dresses up and realizes that her clothes looks like a cute outfit form an RPG. After being greeted by her father and being given a simple japanese breakfast (which made a bit emotional), Miri scolds her and tells her to hurry since she and Keith needs to check up on a few things before they leave. When Katarina asks where they are going, Luigi tells her that she and Keith are headed on a journey to become heroes and defeat the demon lord. She is told that they are the two chosen from the village as representatives. Katarina, being confused about being in an RPG-like world instead of an otome-line one, realizes that she is in a dream and is excited to play a heroine role in the fight against the monsters. Katarina is awoken by Keith during their carriage ride, and told that they were at the castle. Despite being representatives of their village, they still need to be selected as a true hero. She asks on how they were selected as the representative, and Keith tells her that it's done by lottery. Katarina admires the RPG-style outfits of everyone in the crowd, before the high priest arrives and announces the details of the selection.

Everyone is divided into small groups and left to face monsters in order to assess their abilities. Katarina, who has never fought before, is scared of the task because she's never fought monster before. Unlike Keith who looked like a knight, her weapon is a hoe. She asks the officiate beside her if she can just eliminate herself and watch from the side, to which Keith sighs in disbeliefs and the man giggles at the confession. As the officiate yelled at the sight of a world, everyone got ready for battle. While Katarina admired the fight from afar, she realized that something else was growling besides the wolf. Timeskip to hours later, Katarina was selected as a hero with the title of "Monster Tamer", and the officiate reveals himself to be Prince Geordo and asks to be a part of her party. As Katarina and her party march on to face the demon king, they encounter a witch, who reveals herself to be Miri with a book of manners. Katarina then wakes up from the dream.

Volume 4 - Dreamland Genderbender

Katarina wakes up to the sight of a male butler waking her up to tell her that she is late for school. When she asks him who he is, he says that he is Anne, Katarina's faithful butler. Katarina realizes that Anne is a man, and that she isn't a she, but a HE! Katarina freaks out at the fact that he is a man and realizes that there is something on his waist that definitely shouldn't be there. Before Katarina could ponder about it for too long, Anne helps him prepare for school. He gets greeted by Keith, and he becomes overwhelmed by how cute (and yet somehow very Keith-looking) she was. When they got to the Academy, Katarina is greeted by Geordo and Alan, who are princesses instead of princes. Due to the fact that everyone's names were still the same despite being gender-switched, she realizes she's in a dream and plays along. Mary greets Katarina good morning, and Katarina notes how gentlemanly and dashing he looked. Katarina was then greeted by Nicol, whose smile was so lovely it made everyone blush. As she pondered on whether the female Nicol was more charming than her male counterpart, Sophia greets Katarina.

On their way to class, Katarina looks into a window and feels bad about how mostly the same he looked despite being a boy. Geordo clings onto his right arm as she tries to lead him to class (emphasizing her chest while doing so, which Katarina notes as being possibly bigger than Mary's), while Keith takes the other arm and gets angry at the princess for her behavior. Katarina is overwhelmed by Keith's adorable height, and lets go of both of them to hug her. Geordo takes a hold of Katarina, vocalizing his jealousy over his touchy-ness with Keith and demands the same treatment because they are engaged and because she is much more attractive than Keith. The argument between Geordo and Keith becomes heated, discussing whether or not a huge chest is much more attractive in a woman. Alan doesn't want to be a part of it, and Nicol stops their discussion as it is embarrassing to hear for the other students. Katarina doesn't know how to react since she is a boy in this situation. When they get to the classroom, they are greeted by Maria, which prompts Katarina to contemplate on what the differences are in the world now that they all swapped genders. When they get to student council room, Katarina compliments Raphael on how small and adorable she looks, bringing back the heated discussion between the girls about chest sizes. Katarina shouts that he has no preference, and then wakes up from the dream.

Volume 5 - Doom Route Kindergarten

Anne introduces herself as a daycare worker at Doom Route Kindergarten, and awaits the arrival of the students. First car arrives with Geordo and Alan, children from a well-off family. Anne is asked to take care of the two, who she nicknames "Sebastian the Butler". Anne notes on how well mannered the two are, and how they are apparently children of a government figure. Next car arrives with Mary, who is a the very feminine fashionista among the children, who loves flowers and fashion. Next car arrives with Nicol and Sophia, who were admired by the staff because their loving parents drop and pick them up from school themselves. Nicol is rumored to be a future seducer by the staff, and Anne notes on how they used to never interact with other children until recently. Next comes a woman on a bike, revealing herself to be Maria's mother who is there to drop Maria off. Despite being the daughter of a normal company employee, Maria was able to enroll into a private kindergarten through a scholarship due to her talent in baking despite her young age. Maria used to have a hard time adjusting to being a school for rich kids, but she had become more enthusiastic about school more recently.

When Maria asked Anne if Katarina will like the treats she made, on cue, another car arrives. Miri angrily drags a half asleep Katarina out of the car, reprimanding her for napping as soon as she finished eating breakfast. Miri apologizes for her daughters rudeness, and Anne replies that she's used to it. Anne tries to wake up Katarina by telling her that Maria made treats for her, which works and jolts Katarina awake. Katarina constantly clings onto Anne and asks her to play with her, while the other children tries to get Katarina to play with them instead. Anne notes how happy she is that Katarina likes her so much, even if she gets glared at by the children as a result. After receiving so much offers of different activities to do, Katarina settles on challenging Alan, which everyone follows them to. Anne runs after them telling them not to climb any trees again. After that, Katarina wakes up from the dream.

Volume 6 - Magical★Girl Flag Breakers

I already made an attempt to translate this chapter, since Manga Volume 6 has yet to come out in english, so I suggest reading it! I'll still summarize it though I guess

Katarina is on her way to school, running with a cucumber in her mouth, until she accidentally bumps into what looks like a small doll. The doll talks back to her, making her realize that it is sentient. Katarina and the doll, who reveals himself to be Raphael the Spirit, have a quick banter that escalates into a discussions about the nature of spirits and the danger that the planet will soon face. As Raphael finishes his explanation, monsters summoned by the evil organization began to attack in a nearby park. Katarina and Raphael checks it, and finds a giant stuffed bear rampaging. Katarina attempts to flee, but Raphael asks her to help him. In a panic, Katarina says yes, and the two form a contract. Katarina transforms into a magical girl and attempts to fight the monster. Despite being confused, she was able to win, and thus beginning her journey as a magical girl.

Timeskip to a few weeks/months later, Katarina mentions that she had found more magical girls among students in her school which includes Mary from the Gardening Club, Sophia from the Literature Club and Maria from the Student Council. The three were recruited by a spirit named Anne. The four are close friends who walk together to school. During one of their walks, they are interrupted by Geordo, one of the Four Kings of Ruin who are part of the Evil Organization. Mary, Sophia and Maria get angry at him for ruining the moment between the girls, and Geordo calls upon his allies in order to be alone with Katarina. From the sky descends the other members of the Four Kings: Alan, Keith and Nicol. Rather than being excited for battle, the three instead berated Geordo for calling them during their free time. Geordo asks them to fight off the other three girls so that he can be alone with Katarina, but instead they interact with Katarina whom they have already met prior. In the end, Geordo is arguing with Mary and Sophia, Alan and Keith are flushed in the corner at the sight of Katarina, and Nicol and Maria are sharing food (since he dropped his pasta after being summoned by Geordo). Katarina wonders if she really is a magical girl since they haven't actually been fighting whenever they encounter each other, and then wakes up from the dream.

Rereading this now, I may have made these summaries a little too long... I hope this doesn't discourage anyone from reading the Bonus SS yourselves!! Please read them, they are so funny and good!!

Detective Katarina's Office isn't available yet, I might edit this post when that drops.

even though she's feeling conflicted, she's with him

their relationship is rocky but she finds comfort in Thunder, who she views as a friend

but then I thought about it and it didn't really fit as well as I thought

Hello, fandom. Let’s have a little chat about Sasha Waybright again shall we

In case anyone’s still really excited about that parents analysis post I teased forever ago, I’m aware that I’m getting down to the wire to have it out before Season 3 so it will come this week I promise.

As for this post, it’s not discourse exactly, but it’s something I’d like to bring attention to in the fandom before it becomes a big problem. Generally I don’t like talking about these things but I’ve seen no one else bring it up yet so I might as well.

With all that out of the way, I’m here to remind everyone that Sasha Waybright is in fact 13 years old. I’ve seen a growing number of people treating her like she’s much older and it’s getting a bit concerning.

I’m all for criticizing and analyzing character’s actions (heck I kinda live for it,) but lots of what I see about Sasha goes into demonization territory, believing that she is irredeemable and that Anne and Marcy and whoever else should cut her off forever.

I’m not entirely against the ending where they all separate if it’s more mutual and seen as the best for everyone, but the way it’s explained sometimes rubs me the wrong way as if Sasha only exists to be a two dimensional abusive friend when she’s not (the show wouldn’t even have episodes dedicated to her and how she’s feeling if that were the case.) It’s almost like cancelling a character, and I think it’s common sense to never cancel a child, since they’re growing up and need more guidance.

Granted, I see this done with Marcy too and that’s also a problem, but I’m happy to see a lot of people are talking about that already and don’t feel it needs my two cents. I bring up Sasha because frequently, people who use the “Marcy is just 13” defense (which I do agree with) will go after Sasha a post later like she’s not the same. I’ve seen her accused of screwing up Anne or Anne and Marcy’s friendship because she’s somehow inherently more powerful, as if she’s older.

Sasha definitely tries to act older than she is to be more powerful than she is, and I almost feel the fandom has almost fallen for that just as everyone in the actual show has, herself included. But as we see pretty concretely (I’m mostly thinking of Battle of the Bands,) what Sasha really wants is the typical connections and friendship that any other kid her age has, because she is a kid herself. It’s naturally a much more comfortable and fulfilling way to act for her to just have fun and do kid things.

I’m a little more forgiving of the younger audience that goes after her, because kids the same age as you who act like that can be intimidating or even frightening. They’re easy to feel pushed around by and not someone you should want to be close with. But I hope that the older audience can be a little more mature and recognize that she’s a 13 year old who shouldn’t be treated like an adult, or analyzed like she’s fully grown and stuck in her ways forever.

On top of this, I’m also seeing it go to the extent that Sasha is occasionally sexualized, not in an upfront grotesque way but in older fandom members crushing on her and saying she’s “hot.” I see art of Sasha, remember 13, posing in a pretty way that might be fine on its own but is captioned with something like “Please marry me!!!!! 😭” Then when I see who the artist is they’re 16 or 17 at the very least, often even older. I have yet to see this with Anne and Marcy, and I definitely think it’s connected to treating Sasha as an older teenager or adult in general analyses and rants as I mentioned. It might not seem crazy harmful at first but it leads to things like this.

I do see Sasha shipped with Grime too, although most of the fandom agrees this is wrong. Still, it happens far more often than any of the other girls getting shipped with their respective amphibians who are obviously older than them. All of it is gross and I’m kind of tired of Sasha being the exception just because she wants to act like an adult. She’s not more mature or more powerful or more anything, she’s 13.

Anyway, I’m super excited for season 3 and to read all your thoughts!!! But I’d really appreciate everyone keeping this in mind. Sasha Waybright’s a middle schooler, tell your friends.

What about an Akechi/Joker role swap AU where Akechi is still the detective prince and Joker is still the Shujin delinquent, but the major difference is that Morgana never lost his memories and found Akechi before he approached Shido with his metaverse assassination plot?

Like, imagine Akechi, bitter and jaded, who has just awakened Loki and felt the terrifying and thrilling rush of the berserk power. He's formed a plan to get back at his piece of shit father, even managed to set up a meeting, which he had to set up months in advance, and on the day he's going to present Shido with info on the metaverse, he winds up arriving a few minutes late, because even though he intended to be early, he was accosted by a talking cat (he's been in the metaverse, so he can hear him) on the way over, and in the whole wtf-ery of the moment, lost track of time. Shido, being Shido, refuses to see him and will not reschedule because he doesn't like having his time wasted.

Pissed off, Akechi leaves to find Morgana still waiting for him outside. So he doesn't look like an idiot yelling at a cat on the street, he brings Morgana back to his shitty apartment, where Morgana explains why he had found Akechi and whats up. He doesn't know about Yaldobaoth taking Igor's place, he just knows there's two champions, and Akechi was the one he found first, so he must be Igor's chosen champion. (It is my theory that it doesn't actually matter who was Igor's and Yaldobaoth's champions, it was more about the choices they each made and where they ended up.)

Akechi has no interest in saving the world, but he knows that if he wants to get back at Shido, he needs to become someone of consequence, so he agrees to undergo Morgana's training, since Morgana clearly knows more about the metaverse than he does, and he can use it to solve cold cases, earning him a place as the Detective Prince. He changes a few hearts, to pacify Morgana, too. It takes a couple years, but during his senior year in high school, he makes it, earning himself the cooperation of the police and the spotlight of the public eye. He's getting so close to making Shido notice him that he can practically taste it. Also, what’s this ‘velvet room’ he keeps dreaming about?

Then Morgana finds Kamoshida’s palace and is like ‘heyo, you thought changing hearts in the metaverse was cool, check this shit out’ and Akechi is admittedly intrigued , so he takes a look. He sees the inside of Kamoshida’s heart and is appropriately disgusted and says to Morgana, ‘hey we should totally kill this guy’s shadow.’ Morgana’s like ‘why is your first suggestion always murder, we don’t know what would happen if we killed his shadow, Igor wasn’t very clear about that bit, we should try stealing the treasure instead’ and Morgana has been useful (and it’s been really nice to have the company these past two years, though he won’t admit that) so Akechi agrees ‘fine, we’ll steal the treasure, but if that doesn’t work, then I’m killing his shadow.’

And that’s when Ryuji and Ann make an appearance (’ohmigawd, goro, be more careful with that damn app, i s2g.’) Ryuji’s mom apparently thinks Akechi is pretty neat and watches all his interviews, so Ryuji knows who he is and is delighted to find out that the lame-ass detective his mom has talked about is actually a grumpy badass in the metaverse, with this shadow that has some kind of insane power, and hey, he helped them bring down Kamoshida (alive,) so maybe he is actually pretty cool, even though sometimes he spaces out and talks about evil twins and some longed-nose dude. He decides then and there that he’s going to be Akechi’s best friend, since he apparently has none, and Ann is all too happy to join in for the ride, and all of Goro’s protests have fallen on deaf ears, and they know about the whole detective prince thing being a facade, so he might as well indulge them for now.

The ‘Phantom Thieves’ (a name that makes Goro want to roll his eyes whenever he hears it, and why is everyone calling him ‘leader?’) gain fame and change hearts, gaining new members such as this weird-ass artist dude who fights with ice, and oh, god, one Nijima is bad enough, don’t tell me there’s two! and she uses nukes, wtf?!

Around this time, he also meets Shujin’s delinquent, enigmatic transfer student whose talk of hope and justice never quite seem to reflect in his stormy grey eyes, and he and Goro are clearly birds of a feather in a way, he can tell, there’s just something about him, and he thinks this guy might actually be his best friend, but don’t tell Ryuji that, he’d never hear the end of it.

Akechi learns the truth behind Akira’s arrest and Shido’s involvement and he is disgusted to find that he genuinely wants to help this guy, and he can’t do that if Shido’s dead, maybe he doesn’t want his revenge as badly as he thought??? Oh, ew, I have feelings that aren’t anger and it’s all my friends’ fault, I can’t just leave them and go off to get revenge, they’d literally die without me, those lovable idiots. Also, when Ryuji saw his home, he pretty much insisted he stay with him instead, and Ryuji’s mom reminds him of the good times he had with his own mother, and he honestly doesn’t think he has the strength to disappoint her like that. So, he decides to change Shido’s heart, but he knows that there’s no way that this little group of miscreants is strong enough to take on the fucked up bullshit that he’s seen in Shido’s heart, so let’s hit pause on that for now.

Shido had Wakaba killed via completely non-supernatural ways and stole her research, same as before, so Futaba still has a palace. He found out Akira worked at Leblanc a while ago and started dropping by, and then somehow Ryuji found out about it, and now all the Phantom Thieves know, so much for a peaceful place to get away, but he actually doesn’t mind that much, and Akira lets Akechi keep an eye on the shop when there are no customers so he can go out and do errands and Boss doesn’t mind, so they’ve ended up hanging out there as a group from time to time and talking Phantom Thief business, so Futaba knows who they are, and asks for their help.

Okumura’s palace pretty much goes the same, Okumura dies somehow, are we responsible, why does murder actually make me feel kinda bad, stupid friends and their stupid good influence.

Goro attends the Shujin student fair as guest speaker, whoa, the class president being friends with Akechi does have its perks, doesn’t it? Akira finds them all there together and approaches them, tells them he saw them go into the metaverse, awakened his own persona, and saw a guy in a black mask kill Okumura’s shadow, hey why don’t I join you, you probably need all the help you can get, who’s heart are we stealing next, how about Sae, she knows my probabtion officer and has been giving me hell, plus I already checked, she definitely has a palace.

They agree, and oh, hey, Akira can hear Morgana talk now, but WAIT A MINUTE?! Didn’t he hear Morgana talk before when he told Goro that Leblanc didn’t sell sushi, even though Goro hadn’t asked for any?

They hack Akira’s phone, learn that Shido (Akechi recognizes that voice) will have thugs waiting to capture them when they leave the palace. They plan around it, pull the metaverse switch and manage to sneak a heavily drugged Akechi out of the warehouse Shido stashed him in by traveling through the metaverse. Shido’s lackey’s have written a fake suicide letter from the leader of the Phantom thieves, and the chief of police, under Shido’s orders, delivers a statement confirming its authenticity, and look the plan succeeded. All they need to do know is take down Shido.

Things are going great, until they get to the engine room, where Joker, having realized what happened, is waiting for them. Joker, who lost everything after he transferred, who discovered the metaverse completely alone, who didn’t mean to kill that guy’s shadow, but he attacked him first, and Shido had somehow known, had been keeping an eye on him, had him convicted for a crime that he didn’t commit in the hopes that he would break because he needed an agent in the metaverse, and so far he’s had no luck. Joker, who had nothing left to lose and had accepted the only hand that had reached out for him.

They fight, and when it looks like things are going badly for Joker, he pulls out... a second persona?!?! At least, it looks like a persona, but something about it is off. it looks familiar somehow. And then Akira asks if they knew it was possible to fuse personas and Akechi realizes what he’s looking at. These aren’t the clean executions that Caroline and Justine perform, these are personas that have been ripped apart and haphazardly thrown back together with no thought to form or elegance, look, there’s a Yaksini’s arm, and that bit right there clearly used to belong to a Rangda, and I think that piece might have belonged to a Seiryu, and Akechi should stop listing personas now because Ann thinks she’s going to be sick.

They keep fighting. Joker can’t understand the difference in power between them. After all, aren’t they the same? Unloved, unwanted, soldiers pitted against each other by some bullshit higher power?

When Joker shoots the bulkhead door closed and Futaba reports that she’s lost Joker’s reading, Akechi vows then and there that he’s going to kill Shido after all. And he almost does. He stands there, with his gun pressed to the head of the shadow of his father, his friends can’t blame him, and even Morgana knows better than to try and stop him. But he doesn’t. He remembers Akira’s madness there at the end, and wonders what he would have become of him if it weren’t for Ryuji, who somewhere along the way, he’d realized he’d stopped tolerating and started actually liking. Ann, who shared his woes about being in the public eye and swapped tips with him about how to handle the press. Yusuke, who, although he was still completely bizarre to him, appreciated the beauty in life and didn’t tease Goro for his taste in Grandpa clothes. Makoto, who knew the importance of hard work and who, between herself and her sister, had caused Goro to pick up some healthier coping mechanisms. Futaba, who made fun of him for his food blog, but liked the same nerd bullshit that he did and would bombard him with memes until his day somehow became a little less shittier. Haru, who dreamed of starting her own business and actually cared about Goro’s opinions, and could threaten someone with a smile in a way that even Goro was jealous of. And Morganna, who had reminded him what it was like to not be lonely, and demanded more sushi than he could afford, but always made sure Goro ate his fill, instead of getting so focused on his work that he forgot.

Akechi guesses that he must have turned soft somewhere during the past several months, but after seeing what happened to Akira, he can’t help but be grateful, knowing with certainty that if things had turned out differently, that would have been him. Hey, Morgana, you know that world-saving bs you talked about two years ago? Let’s leave this piece of shit here to rot and focus our attention on that instead.

One day, they come across a large abandoned house that looked like it was pulled out of the Victorian era and thrown into the middle of Florida. Logan and Virgil quickly discover the place is haunted. But they're not the usual creepy, evil ghosts you normally think of...

Anyway, this fanfic is somewhat of an AU that I threw together on the spot. I hope you like it!

Logan and Virgil were looking around with their flashlights, admiring the very old-looking house. It was HUGE! And quite run down. There were dirt stains all over the place, papers covered in water, and furniture filled with dust that rested there for decades. It felt unusual...and yet so mysterious!

“Hey Logan, look!” Virgil called.

Logan looked over and noticed a large dresser covered in a collection of porcelain dolls. He widened his eyes and adjusted his glasses. “W-Well...that’s not creepy whatsoever…”

“I recognize Anne of Green Gables up there…” Virgil mentioned, shining his light to the porcelain doll with ginger braided hair, and a sun hat with flowers on her head.

“There’s so many Victorian Porcelain dolls. And a couple french porcelains as well!” Logan reacted.

“Don’t forget that baby porcelain doll…” Virgil added, pointing to the baby-faced porcelain doll with red cheeks, and a night gown with a bonnet on its head. Logan shook his head to get the thought out of his mind and tried to move on.

Logan looked up at the huge roof and noticed the huge chandelier in the middle of the room. It was covered in pearls and glass...it was even reflecting and shining brightly as he shined the flashlight onto it! It must’ve been a beautiful piece of decoration before the home was abandoned.

“Whoa...look at that chandelier!” Virgil reacted. “It’s like a disco ball from the silent era!” Virgil added.

Logan giggled at his comparison. “You’re not wrong.”

Logan and Virgil walked around the Victorian-style house a bit more, and noticed there were still stuffed animals, pillows, and even flowers placed casually around the house as if it was still being decorated. “Interesting…” Logan muttered.

“That’s not the only room that’s decorated all fine and dandy…” Virgil mentioned from the dining room. Logan walked to where Virgil was and immediately noticed what he was talking about: all the cutlery were set up in their places on the table perfectly. But the napkins were folded into little napkin flowers to hold the cutlery. Though it was strange and technically inaccurate, it did add some flair to the usual style of set up.

“I wonder who would’ve did this…” Logan asked out loud.

“Maybe someone who likes their victorian history?” Virgil asked.

“Perhaps…Or an especially preppy person.” Logan added.

“Hmmm...Maybe both?” Virgil asked. “How about ghosts? Have you considered ghosts in your hypothesis?” Virgil asked.

Logan laughed. “Of course I have! That’s one of the reasons why we’re doing this!” Logan reacted. “I wanna see if spirits really do exist and if they’re more humble than the movies give them credit for.” Logan explained.

“You’ve officially hit the triple digits in times you’ve explained this to me.” Virgil muttered loudly. “I know. And it’s why I go with you. Because not all ghosts are as humble as you think. Most ghosts have probably gone insane from years of being stuck in the same place for centuries.” Virgil added.

“Right back at you with the triple digits thing. I already know, Virgil.” Logan mentioned.

Virgil smiled at himself as he looked around. That conversation usually happens at least once a trip. It’s quite funny when you think about it. Two brothers trespassing into old homes, checking to see if they’re haunted and then doing the pikachu face when something spiritual and ‘creepy’ happens.

Or when the police find them...that’s usually a ‘surprise’ in and of itself.

Logan looked around further and moved to one of the bedrooms. The bedroom was put together as well. All covered in dust, but still quite put together. There was a doll clothed and brushed, holding a teddy bear on the bed. Logan opened the dressers and noticed all the dressers except for the top, were empty. The top drawers were filled with old keys, old fashioned money, old paint brushes, a few jars of ink and...feathers? Why feathers? Were they meant to be quills? Because the end of them certainly didn’t look like quills.

Logan raised an eyebrow as he picked up the quill and raised it up a little. The quill didn’t have the usual fitted bottom that Victorian quills usually had. And even if it were a regular quill, it would’ve been cut at the bottom to make the suitable end for dipping and writing. But...this quill was just a normal, uncut feather. Perhaps it was just spare feathers for future writing? Logan couldn’t say. He never lived here, after all.

Virgil turned around and immediately noticed that one of the paint brushes was moving in the drawer. And it wasn’t just ‘casual shifting from force’, it was flying! He swore he could see it flying right now!

“L-Lo?” Virgil called.

Logan turned to face him, and noticed the paintbrush as he turned. “Yes Vir- OHGOD.” Logan stared deeply at the paintbrush and slowly reached out to grab it. “Hiiii there, floating paintbrush…” He greeted the object nervously.

The paintbrush moved itself back and forth in a waving motion right back. Hey...It was trying to wave back! Cool! Virgil walked closer and poked the brush curiously. “Not bad...Guess we know the place is haunted...By Casper the friendly ghost.” Virgil teased.

The brush jumped in surprise, and flew closer to Virgil. “Hey little buddy. What are you up to?” Virgil asked.

Then, the brush snuck itself into Virgil’s shirt collar! Virgil jumped and tried to get it out, but the brush kept moving away from the hand and started moving to Virgil’s upper ribs. Virgil giggled as the feather-like bristles flickering across his ribs. “Whahahat thehehe-” Virgil squealed as he felt the paintbrush move past his abs and into his belly button.

I’m sorry...What?!

Is...Is the paintbrush tickling Virgil?

“I...Goodness, I’m so confused.” Logan admitted.

Virgil tried to cover up his belly from the brush but the moment the brush noticed his distinctive defense attempts, something had grabbed him! Something invisible had grabbed Virgil’s wrist and started holding it up above his head! Virgil shrieked as he tried to pull his arm down with no success.

“LET ME GO- BAAAHAHAHAHAHA!” Virgil shrieked and bursted out laughing more. “STAHAHAHAP! WHYHYHYHY?!” Virgil asked, pulling on his arm as his exposed armpit was being tickled with the brush.

Logan started to smile as he watched. He started to wonder if he could feel the ghost. So, Logan cracked his knuckles and reached out beside Virgil’s exposed right arm to feel for a ghost. But to his surprise: He couldn’t feel anything. “Where are you, oh mischievous one?” Logan asked.

This ‘name’ Logan used, earned him a taste of the tickles as well. Logan gasped as his eyes fell onto a pair of floating brushes and feathers. Logan’s curious look quickly morphed into a wobbly grin as the realization computed into his brain. “O-Oh...Oh boy...That’s not good, now is it?” Logan asked.

This was the last thing Logan asked before he was forced into a fit of tickly hysterics. The feathers were so light and...feathery that the tickles felt stronger than they really were! Why did the tickles feel so strong?

“AAAHAHAHAHAHA! STAHAHAHAP IHIHIHIT TIHIHIHICKLEHEHES!” Logan begged.

The brushes and feathers paused for a moment. One of the feathers turned the pen-like bottom to face Logan’s belly, and flew down. The feather started casually writing letters onto his belly! Logan giggled and snorted at this. It felt kinda sharp, but tickled enough to get him giggling again. “Hehehehehey!”

The feather stopped, moved itself to the left side of Logan’s belly, and started rewriting the letters all over again! Logan squeaked and was right back to giggling. “Dohohohon’t stahahart ahahagahain!” Logan begged.

The feather stopped writing...dragged itself to the left side and restarted the cursive. Logan groaned a little as the writing went back to the Y it started with. But instead of trying to protest this time, Logan tried to stay quiet and understand the letters that were relaying a message to him:

[Y-O-U-R - L-A-U-G-H - I-S - S-O - C-U-T-E] The feather wrote.

Logan’s face went bright red the moment he properly interpreted that.

The worst part was that the ghost just kept writing teases! Like:

[C-O-O-C-H-Y C-O-O-C-H-Y C-O-O],

[T-I-C-K-L-E T-I-C-K-L-E!]

and [G-I-G-G-L-Y S-U-S-A-N-N-A].

Meanwhile, Virgil was hugging his belly and laughing as his feet were attacked. A ghost was using a comb to tickle the bottom of his feet and telling by Virgil’s inability to pull away, one of the ghosts must’ve been holding onto his foot.

“NAHAHAT THE FEEHEHEHEHEET! IHIT TIHIHICKLEHEHES SOHOHO MUHUHUCH!” Virgil begged.

The ghost must’ve seen that Virgil needed something lighter, because the comb was soon set aside and replaced by an old fashioned feather duster. Yes...old fashioned, meaning it was made with real feathers at the end. Virgil squeaked at the look of it, and covered his mouth. Oh no! His squeak gave away the fact that he was nervous!

The feather duster ignored his squeak and moved closer and closer to Virgil’s foot. Virgl tried to tug, but it wouldn’t move away, and though it didn’t feel like anything, there was something invisible preventing him from pulling his foot away. Soon, the feather touched down and started wiggling all over the place as Virgil’s laughter and snorts filled the room.

The feather shook up and down as if the ghost was giggling at Virgil’s reaction. Then, Logan looked on as a soft-bristled brush from the early 1900’s moved closer and closer to his sides. Logan giggled just at the thought of the ticklish brush returning to his sides, and started wiggling around all over again. Was this really happening? Was Logan’s creepy expedition to a Victorian house really turning into being tickled and messed with by the spirits?! Why?? Why did the spirits wanna tickle him? Was it fun for them? Were they always this mischievous? If so, how has nobody found this out until now?!

Logan gasped as the brushes touched down on his belly and ribs. Logan squealed and started full out laughing this time! His ribs were much more sensitive to the softer bristles of the brush. It tickled so badly! It felt like a million bristles were tickling his rib bones all at once! And it didn’t help that both sides were being attacked! No matter how much he squirmed to get away, the bristles would just tickle more from his instinctive wiggling!

Logan looked over at Virgil, who was covering his face as the pointy side of a feather wrote teases on his belly. The feather duster had been placed aside for the moment so, he guessed, the ghost could tease him more. “Cohohome ohohon! Ihihihi’m nahahat thahahat cuhuhuhute!”

Yup! It wanted to tease him more. That last sentence confirmed it.

Logan giggled at his reaction. “Yehehess yohohou ahahare!”

Virgil squeaked. “LOHOHO SHUHUT UHUP!” Virgil shouted, uncovering his likely red face. It was hard to see if his face was actually red due to the lack of light, but Logan could easily assume that Virgil was blushing up a huge storm. It was really cute to listen to!

Virgil couldn’t take it anymore! He had to roll away to get away from them. “STAHAHAP, PLEHEHEASE!”

The feather stopped its feather and moved away. Virgil clutched his own stomach and rolled onto his side into the fetal position. He was such a flustered mess!

The ghost put the feather onto a nearby desk and moved over to a bookshelf. The ground was so covered in dust, that you could see dusty footprints with dust bits popping up while they walked! The ghost grabbed a big scrapbook and placed the scrapbook onto the kitchen table. Logan got up slowly and walked to Virgil. “Hey Virgil: they have photos.” Logan told him.

Virgil pushed himself up onto his feet and walked to the kitchen table. “Whoa...They really do.”

The scrapbook had many photos of a few adults. One of them was an adult with a light blue shirt on, that had 2 kids with him. “Whoa...Is this you?” Logan asked.

The ghost picked up a pair of glasses and showed them. Logan looked at the glasses, and replaced his own glasses with the ghost’s. They still had a bit of a prescription, but Logan’s prescription was much stronger compared to the ghost’s. “Huh...you were nearsighted.” Logan muttered. “He couldn’t see far away.” Logan added.

“Weird.” Virgil reacted. “And where are the kids?” Virgil asked.

The ghost handed out papers and used markers to write the names. “Twin #1” was on one paper, “Twin 2#” was on another, and “Dad” was on the last. Logan smiled bittersweetly. They were a family who had died within the house. But they stuck together even after their deaths.

“What are your names?” Logan asked as he changed back into his regular glasses.

The ghost grabbed the end of the marker and pointed to the scrapbook. Logan looked around, and didn’t see any indication of a name or three. But, Logan pulled out the photo and soon found the names on the back. “Easter 1940. Remus and Roman (twins) and Patton (Dad). Happy to be alive!” was written on the back of the scrapbook picture.

Logan looked at the ghosts and back at the scrapbook. But Logan quickly did a double take when he realized the ghosts had tickle tools in their hands again! One had the feather duster from earlier, one had two feathers, and the last one had the hairbrush and a paintbrush!

Uh oh! That’s not good!

Logan yelped and lifted Virgil’s jaw up. The moment Virgil saw the tools again, the emo practically sunk down in a flustered frenzy! Not this again! He was still flustered and blushy from the last time!

Logan couldn’t help but giggle nervously as the evil little tickle monster ghosts made their way closer and closer to Logan and Virgil. They actually didn’t mind being their ticklish entertainment! They often tickled each other out of brotherly love because they both knew each other liked it. Virgil loved melt spots along with being teased to oblivion, while Logan loved much softer tickles that drove him up the wall with hysterics!

Logan squeaked and covered his neck the moment he felt cold, ticklish finger flutters against it. It felt airy, but made enough of a feeling to tickle him! And it drove him NUTS! “NAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! PLEEEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!” Logan begged.

The ghost just kept going in that one spot, as if it was the greatest ticklish spot in the whole universe! Logan’s voice was cackling, laughing and snorting. It could not choose what it really wanted.

Virgil was giggling as a hairbrush was brushing his belly and sides. Virgil was somewhat limited in his wiggling abilities, which made Logan wonder if one of the kids was sitting on top of him while tickling him. Whatever the kid was doing, it was working better than expected! “IHIHIT’S SOHOHOHO BAHAHAHAHAD! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! EEHEHEHEHEHE QUIHIHIHIT IHIHIHIHIT!” Virgil begged.

Logan squeaked and yelped as a paintbrush made its way to Logan’s belly button. OH NO...THAT’S A DEATH SPOT!

Logan’s wheeze filled the room for only a few minutes before his laughter went silent. The tickle monster ghost noticed the change in laughter, and lessened the tickles a bit. But it didn’t fully stop. “......aAHA! AAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHahahahahahaha! Ehehehehehehehehe- Thahahahank yohohohou.” Logan replied.

The feather moved back to Logan’s belly and started writing with the pokey side. [N-O P-R-O-B-L-E-M K-I-D-D-O]

Logan giggled at the nickname. Since when is he considered a ‘kiddo’? He’s never been the kiddo in the family! That’s always been Virgil.

Virgil smiled. “Patton...I like that.” Virgil admitted.

The feather moved to Virgil’s back and started writing more letters. [Y-O-U A-R-E M-Y S-O-N N-O-W]

Virgil bursted out laughing at the words written. “Whahahat? Since when?”

Logan tilted his head with a smile. “What did he say?”

Virgil looked at Logan. “He said I’m his new son.” Virgil said with a giggle.

Logan laughed. “We’re brothers! Does that mean I’m part of the invisible family now too?” Logan asked.

Logan watched as the feather wrote on his own back. [Y-E-S]

Logan gasped. “I have a ghost father now! And ghost brothers!” Logan declared.

Virgil laughed at this specific declaration. Looks like they’ve come out of this experience with an unofficial adoption into a centuries-old family of three.

Should I continue this AU? Or no? I don't really know yet.

QOTS 5x05 Reaction Post

Good news if you like your blood bath’s angst free: there’s zero agonizing over pulling the trigger this week, thanks to some less morally grey villains.

But if you were looking for any fallout or repercussions or I don’t know an acknowledgement of last week’s proceedings effects on the interpersonal relationships of La Familia you’ve come to the wrong place.

That definitely does not happen. Instead we have the A plot of Teresa takes Europe and the B plot of GTFO Before Boaz Murders You KG. The KG/Boaz stuff was allowed to leisurely marinate in it’s foreboding. The Teresa takes Europe plot was like three episodes worth of plot in 30 minutes.

Don’t ask me to explain the Oksana issue. I couldn’t even if I tried lol. The show needed a reason to get Teresa to Europe so sure, paper-thin excuse, come on down!

I’ll accept nearly any reason to get the gang in suits and night out attire tbh. I’m easy like that.

Overall I liked the idea of this episode more than the execution. The stuff with Teresa and Oksana and Teresa and Kelly Anne could have been great if it were allowed to breath a bit more but instead I was like “wait, what? EUROPE! the huh now? HEIST! who? INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT!

I know there were scenes longer than 30 seconds but it sure didn’t feel like it watching live lol

I did thoroughly enjoy Teresa and Oksana kicking Durand’s ass though.

I thought we were going to get a Jeresa art heist but can it really be called a heist if all it entailed was James walking by the painting *once* and being like ok got it lmao. TOO COMPETENT, VALDEZ.

(Seriously though is there anything not on his resume? He’s got the full vest of criminal scout badges: art theft, motorcycle stunts, private army, surveillance, assassinations, etc etc.)

I love that we’re conditioned as an audience now to know James not appearing at the showdown = him holed up in his sniper’s den. That was badass.

I do kinda wish Rocco had been there to be a part of the massacre. I’d have loved to see Teresa encounter him again.

Though gotta love the moment Teresa hears Rocco is dead she’s like ca-ching EUROPE BABY.

Can you tell I’m avoiding talking about KG and the pervasive feeling of imminent doom hanging over all of his scenes???

Because my dude, Boaz looked you straight in the eye and showed you what he does to people “infiltrating his business”...get out while you can I beg of you!!

Also don’t mind that forklift in reverse beeping sound, it’s all the anvils loaded up for Pote’s dialogue. Saying “You’re never going to be left behind” to Kelly Anne is like the same as pushing the Indiana Jones boulder of doom off the ledge, and we’ve seen how much Pote sucks at running.

P.S. When Pote interrupted Kelly Anne’s super vulnerable conversation to insist their baby HAD to be a boy...I might have whispered: “dump him.”

And one last thing, it looks like 5x06 will make up for it but if I were the editor of this ep, I’d have cut a few of the KG/Boaz scenes to fit in just a few longer scenes between A plot characters...particularly Jeresa after last ep would have been nice. And oh idk James learning about the pregnancy on screen perhaps? Who even told him? Or at the very least squeeze in James and Pote’s reaction to Teresa walking out of her unarmed meeting with Durand holding him at gunpoint b/c that would have been priceless. But that’s just me.

And speaking of that preview...whew. Not sure I’ll survive 5x06. Goodbye sweet world, cause of death: Jeresa content. Cannot wait.
