I haven't been in ur asks since September 😭 but I have since gotten a new job that I actually enjoy, I got engaged (!!), and I'm still not doin so hot mentally :/

but ! that's okay. bc we all need to cry sometimes, and I have people that are trying their best to help me thru it. honestly my fiance's mom is a really big help a lot of the time. we live w his parents, so anytime our schedules align I'll spend a bit of time w her and talk about stuff. it's really nice. Hello Sweetpea, I hope you are well 💞 i reading some of ur Davi content and the idea of him working at an orchard is just so perfectly him! So now i imagine orchard picking dates with his lady love, and they go home and bake pies together. And his sweetheart had bought him one of those rolling pins with nature designs on them so when they roll the pastry its covered in pretty patterns! And then they snuggle on couches or sit on the kitchen bench together, sharing kisses and pie 🥺💗 Much love

I agree, I really like the idea of David working with farming/cultivation of some kind, and orchards (especially in this, the autumnal season) are very calming, quiet places to enjoy collecting the literal fruit of one’s labors in! I think David is especially suited to orchard attending because of his height and arm length; the sweet boy would have no trouble reaching into even the loftiest of boughs and taking hold of the apple of his eye!

I also imagine that David is very fond of pies and isn’t particularly picky about what fruit goes in, so long as his favorite ingredient (love!) is included, so he’s just as happy with an end-of-summer peach pie as he is with a warm, cinnamon-laden apple pie! Anything his beloved makes at his side will more than satisfy his sweet tooth!

David is very in his element when on these orchard dates, feeling a surge of confident pride when he can easily reach up and procure a just-out-of-reach peach for his sweetheart, or can lift her by her waist so she can pluck fresh cherries. He admires her as she smiles at their piled baskets, feels his heart swell as she slips her hand into his while they walk along, glows golden in the sunlight filtering through the trees. Everything is just as it should be.

Once home, I imagine that David is in charge of cutting and peeling the fruits du jour while his beloved handles the crust-making process; David can run a bit hot, making the butter melt in his hands if he tries to work the dough himself. Instead, he lets his sweet one do the crust-prep, though he is the one encouraged to use his special imprinting roller to make the decorative top crust!

One of his favorite parts of the piemaking experience has to be stooping down to peer into the oven and watch the pie filling bubble and boil, the upper pastry taking on a shining, caramel hue as it bakes under the heat. David doesn’t care for purely “picturesque” pies, and loves when a bit of the jammy filling bubbles up and leaks through cracks in the crust, reducing under the heat to an almost candylike texture; sure, it looks messier, but it tastes so much better, and he loves that homemade, imperfect look. Asymmetry is lovely in its own way, too!

His preferred method of pie consumption is just after it’s cooled, allowing the filling to set solidly, but while it’s still warm enough for him to feel tiny wisps of heat in the crust. David likes his with a bit of cream on top, and enjoys it best sitting cuddled beside his beloved girl, periodically feeding her bites and wiping any stray traces of crumbs or jam from her cheeks.

(on my ps4 since my laptop needs work done) we were building a giant fancy house in our hard-mode world, which is proving to be quite difficult since creepers keep spawning and exploding,, so we decided to build a giant fence around the area, and moved my kitties out there to scare them off,, it's worked so far!! 🌺 and that's all that really happened for me,, besides some bad storming that startled me and terrified my cat,, (4/7?)

i sang to him softly though and he relaxed a bit!! ahhh maybe i should teach you some italian phrases sometime!! i love teaching my language, and i think it'd be quite easy for you!! and trust me darling, i'm definitely going to make you some nice desserts someday!! (5/7?)

Hello! I reread tuou today after a while... and I don’t think there r words to explain how I felt once again. Just a wave of emotions every time I read it... and it’s just incredible how 21k words and a superb ability to write can make a person feel. I wish I could convey how I feel to u bc I feel like u truly deserve so much recognition and love beyond being a writer on tumblr. But on a different note, when u write, do u feel the emotions that ur readers do? I’ve never written something (1/?)

ah, can you believe that nearly a year ago from today, i was writing tuou? it all started because of some silly dreams i had and me wanting to procrastinate on studying for my final exams, even up until the last hour before my exams started. and now, it’s almost one year old!! but also, this message is more than enough, and honestly, i wish i knew how to convey to you just how thankful i am to receive such thoughtful and kind words 💞 my heart is bursting with so much happiness right now 💓💓

as for your first question, there are scenes that when i write, i’m like, “oh my god, that’s so corny….. let’s keep it.” other than that, i don’t really feel much when i’m writing, unless i’m writing for tae. with tae, i get really upset when i have to write him with a sad scene or something where he isn’t happy. on the other hand, i am unaffected when i’m writing about other members. i don’t feel the heart wrench when i write angst because yep, i’m just like “nah whatever i expected it.” unless, of course, it’s for tae, and i was completely torn over this fic i wrote called saudade. i wanted to scrap it because the entire angst plot comes to life because of taehyung’s death (wow, the irony in this sentence). 

with tuou, after writing it halfway through, i realized it seemed like the oc was cheating on tae with jungkook, so i was about to trash it or change taehyung’s character to jimin. but in the end, my friends convinced me to continue writing and keep it the way it is because they thought taehyung fitted it best. (this is also why taehyung gets the happier ending at the end because i can’t stand to see him sad)

and no worries, your question isn’t confusing at all! and omg you write stories, too? what kind of stories do you write? what’s your favorite genre? :D and thank you for thinking so 💝 i love every ask i receive because it’s so wonderful to know that someone thought of me and my blog and actually took some time out of their busy day to tell me so. and it’s only fair that i dedicate my own time too and fully show my appreciation!! ah, i think some writers might be more introverted than i am. i understand that there are people who just aren’t comfortable with showing their emotions and have a harder time expressing themselves, so their responses may seem a bit off putting? nevertheless, i’m very happy that you feel comfortable talking to me!! 💞💞

in response to your second question, i feel the same way as you do about docs! i only use google docs for group projects or partner work for school. i did use google docs for the collabs i did though since it’s so much easier than emailing back and forth all the scenes and parts. but primarily, i like using microsoft word for writing! but i often find myself writing at 3 am in bed or when i’m walking to and from class, and i type it all out on my phone in a saved email draft. it’s so much easier for me to transfer my writing onto my laptop that way because i just need to log into my email on my laptop and then copy and paste the email draft into microsoft word. what writing platform do you like to use? :D

oh 🥺 I think not a lot of people talk about this, but I understand, college can be an incredibly lonely period of time because you see everyone else having fun with their friend groups and fitting in, and you’re trying hard to do the same but it’s difficult when people already found their groups or you don’t click with people, and you don’t know where you fit in. It’s hard because the way social media and college culture is portrayed in media shows that everyone is so social and has their little niche and best friends, it builds up these expectations and it just makes it all the more disappointing and lonely when you don’t have that positive experience because it’s like what am I doing wrong ?? It’s like… you can be standing in a crowded room full of people, full of people you can even consider as friends and more than acquaintances, and you can even be talking to some of them, but it still feels so lonely because they don’t understand you in the way you hope to be understood nor do you feel completely comfortable with them. I’m so so sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way, lovebug, and I honestly don’t know what to say except that I understand how you feel and I sincerely hope that you’ll be able to find your people, your group of friends, and form those close bonds as well 🤍

From my own personal experience, I met all my college best friends at different times throughout uni. For instance, my two bestest friends are two girls who I sat next to randomly in an 8 am class my junior year and never thought we’d be this close four years later. My other best friend is the random roomie I was assigned my freshman year. Another best friend is the random roomie I was assigned my junior year after my friend had to bail out because she got into her foreign exchange program. Another best friend is someone I actually met in my freshman year once because she was the roommate of one of my friends, and then she was a mutual friend of one of my suitemates sophomore year, and then, I saw her around due to mutual friends in junior year at events, but we still weren’t close yet, and then we suddenly just clicked in senior year and now she’s one of my closest friends and we’re travel buddies and hang out every two weeks. So, I basically met all my close friends during my last two years of uni. I didn’t have that in my earlier years, like I was very social and had so many friends but none where I had a tight friendship with, aside from my freshman roomie like you. And it was lonely at times when I realized I didn’t have someone I wanted to share everything about myself. I know how you feel, sweetpea, and I hope by sharing my experience, you feel a little less alone because I went through a similar experience my first and second years too 💘 I hope you’ll also be able to find the friends you’re looking for and that you get to have the college experience you want, sweetpea 💖

BUT ANONNNN I AM SHOUTING HAHAHAHA oh my gosh okay first of all you and i have got to be on the same wavelength today bb hehehe because i haven’t mentioned their relationship with the other todoroki siblings much on my blog but i do have (and have had) their relationships with each mapped out in my notebook for months now and i was literally looking it over when you sent this in!! <33

AH SO MANY GOOD QUESTIONS LET’S GET INTO IT WEEEEEEE <3

so first i’m going to link you to this post (which kinda just delves into their relationship with each other but touches upon other relationships in the family) and this post (which discusses dabi’s reaction to yelling and touches upon his trauma related to enji; pls heed the tws!!) but to reiterate and all that:

twin!touya pretty much gets along with all of his siblings in some way. he’s the perfect model of an older brother. as i mentioned in the first post linked above, touya is just really good at playing the part. twin!dabi, on the other hand, barely gets along with anyone other than his twin. he’s extremely difficult to be around about 97% of the time.

natsuo definitely does think both of his older brothers are super super cool, and he follows them around like a puppy when they’ll let him, but he’s actually closer to twin!touya than he is to twin!dabi, simply because twin!dabi won’t let him get too close; dabi’s extreme trust issues get in the way. still, natsuo was the only one there for dabi when touya had been taken from him, and that forged quite a lasting and deep bond, even if it terrifies dabi to this day, even if dabi tries his very hardest to shove natsuo away because of it, even if it’s still extremely complex; a jumbled, tangled mess in his heart. but natsuo understands, and he’s nothing if not resilient, so he kinda just bounces back from it each and every time. but twin!touya has a special soft spot for natsuo, because natsuo was there to take care of his baby twin brother when he wasn’t, and to touya, that means the whole world to him <3 touya hopes that one day his twin will let his guard down enough to let natsuo into his heart, too.

fuyumi is incredibly suspicious of twin!touya. she’s smart as a whip, just like he is, and she can read him like a book and knows when he’s up to something; and he’s always up to something. all she wants is for her family to get along, for god’s sake, and she knows touya’s a threat to that, because he knows how ridiculously manipulative he is, and how he’s planning something against their father—fuyumi is the only of the todoroki siblings that actually has sympathy for their father. thus, even though touya has told her time and again not to worry about it, that everyone will be happy in the end, she knows ‘the end’ does not include their father in any way, shape, or form. still, with that being said, they get along quite well, and they’re constantly throwing teasing quips each other’s way <3 when it comes to twin!dabi, fuyumi’s heart positively breaks for him. he shoves her away, too, because he doesn’t know how to deal with her overwhelming love, but that does not deter her in the slightest. she was there, she witnessed what happened to him, she helped natsuo take care of him in every way she could; in fact, fuyumi took care of that entire family after her mother left. but she has such a soft spot for twin!dabi in her heart, a special type of unconditional love and sympathy for him, and she’ll always be there for him, no matter how many callous insults he spits her way. she views him akin to a terrified animal, and she understands why he lashes out, and sometimes—very rarely, but sometimes—he will let her take him into her arms and hold him, hug him, shush him. she was pretty much the mother he never had for those years when he was without his twin, even though she’s a little younger than he is. so there’s a very interesting, very complex bond there as well.

shouto loves both of his eldest brothers so much. twin!touya loves him back, thinks he’s an absolutely brilliant kid and such a kind, beautiful soul, but he can’t help but feel some resentment towards him; residual feelings that have been transferred from his twin to him. still, he tries to bury them, because he knows none of this is actually shouto’s fault, and that their father is the true villain here, the true one to blame. as i mentioned in the first post linked above, twin!dabi hates shouto with a fierce passion, because he feels betrayed for his twin, betrayed by the way their father so quickly found an (inferior, in his opinion) replacement for touya—to mold into the perfect puppet—and he himself feels a little slighted, too, angry and offended that their father didn’t even try to mold him in replacement of his twin and just went straight to the next ‘perfect’ child, because twin!dabi was too much work, he’s sure. shouto is terrified of dabi, but he looks up to touya with absolute stars in his eyes <3

rei feels incredibly guilty. she likes to pretend that she doesn’t know why she took only twin!touya when she really should’ve taken them both, and will regret for the rest of her life seperating the two of them for a few years. it was incredibly selfish of her, to snatch touya up only because she knew it would hurt her husband the most, and to leave twin!dabi and the rest of her children there with such a brute for a father. dabi hates her for it, and she doesn’t blame him. she hopes one day he can find it in his heart to forgive her for such a horrible mistake, but she knows it’s a slim possibility. she is very, very close to twin!touya though.

i have already touched upon their relationship with enji in the posts linked above, but basically twin!touya IS still enji’s favourite, and enji only latched onto shouto after rei took touya away (during the divorce). touya is still first in line for the family business, and shouto acts as more or less of a back-up, in case touya fails. he’s also easier to control, which is quite appealing to enji, too.

and then, as you can tell, the twins themselves have a very, very unhealthy codependency on each other; they can barely function without one another now <3

ANYWAY LOVELY, THOSE ARE THEIR RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE SIBLINGS + THEIR PARENTS!!! to answer your last few questions:

would the twins be open to sharing the reader with natsuo like touya-nii did in the snowman and me series? or is it strictly something kept between the twins? 

no, they absolutely would not share her with natsuo, this is something very special and sacred and kept strictly between them <3

do the todoroki family know about the reader and the twins relationship? do they approve? 

EHEHEHEHE this is something i’m really really looking forward to exploring in the future of the series!!! because the angst potential is totally insane hehe <3 the answer is, it’s extremely complicated. enji doesn’t approve at all. like, at ALL. he hates to think what the press would think, if this ever got out, and he knows dabi would be more than willing to leak it; anything to hurt his father, right? natsuo thinks it’s SO awesome and super hot, fuyumi thinks it’s quite cute how they share everything, but worries for the poor sweet reader since she knows how her brothers can be, and shouto can’t even think about it without blushing and getting super embarrassed; he isn’t really sure what he thinks yet, but he feels like it’s more their business than his own. rei is on the fence; she wants her boys to be happy, but is this really the best and healthiest way to do it? does she even have a say in it at all? is it really her place or her right to step up and say something? she isn’t sure.

okay SO. in my opinion, trust, honesty, communication and compromise are four of the most important things in a healthy relationship—ANY relationship (romantic or platonic etc). if you need more reassurance, you need to vocalize that. he isn’t a mindreader, and he isn’t going to know it’s bothering you if you don’t tell him, right? i know that this can be very scary, and i also know that it’s a delicate subject that must be approached with caution and care. you don’t have to flat out say “i need you to communicate more with me” if you don’t want to, if you feel that’s too blunt or too forward, but (in my opinion) you need to clearly and honestly articulate your needs. and it’s better to do this early on in a relationship as well!! you build habits together, you adjust certain bits and pieces together to make it work—relationships ARE a lot of hard work, and they’re a two-way street; both parties must put in the work to build and maintain it, right??

it’s hard for me to say how you should go about articulating or expressing your needs, because i don’t know this guy. i don’t know if he’s someone who will pick up a more subtle suggestion or if you need to literally spell it out for him—in either case though, be as clear as you can in your communication. tell him honestly that you want to interact more. please, my sweet anon, don’t hold back because you’re worried about coming off a certain way. if this is bothering you, you need to address it—your needs are valid, too. if he truly cares, he will compromise as well. it’s not like you’re out here asking him to text you every minute of every day—you understand that he’s busy, and that’s great!! that is already you compromising in a way, you know? you aren’t expecting too much of him or asking for something impossible here. communication is important!!

so, my advice would be to either (depending on the type of person he is) suggest or overtly bring to his attention that you’d like to talk to him more. think of some ways he can interact with you more without it detracting too much time from his busy schedule—because, in all honesty anon, you deserve someone who will make time for you. you deserve someone who will put in an equal amount of effort into the relationship, even if they’re very busy. my boyfriend and i are currently drowning in work, but we still manage to make time for one another, because we are important to each other.

an example of a suggestion you could make could be a phone call/facetime call a few times a week for like, i dunno, half an hour? 45 minutes? the time is up to you, really. but calling, for example, is a lot more personal than texting, and i think you’ll find the reassurance and satisfaction you’re looking for if you can speak to him like that a few times a week or whatever works best for your current situation. but that’s just one example!!! maybe, instead, you can somehow work out seeing each other more often than you already are. either way, you’ll need to come up with scenarios that work for your specific situation, you know??? maybe you can even come up with them together!! you could say to him ‘i’d really love to talk to you more’ and then even suggest that the two of you brainstorm some potential solutions together. if his commute home from work takes up a substantial amount of time, suggest that he call you on the way home! things like that, you know? if it’s possible, things you can already work into your daily routines. compromise!

i think the biggest and most important point here, though, is that you should clearly voice your feelings. he deserves to know that you’re struggling, and you deserve to remedy this situation and be happy in your relationship. trust that he will understand and trust that the two of you can work together to find accommodations. be honest with him about what’s bothering you—or just that you’d really love to speak to him more.

i know anxiety makes us very scared and often times will plant seeds of insecurity and doubt (and then nurture, feed and water those seeds until they grow into weeds) but ultimately you are in control here; dig those yucky little seeds out before they can start growing and taking root. your anxiety is only one part of you, and you are so much more than that (i tell myself this frequently when it comes to my mental illness as well!! i’m not sure if it’ll help you, because we all deal and cope differently, but sometimes when my anxiety or my illness is really pissing me off i kinda tell it to shut the fuck up and remind myself that i’m in charge of my mind. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t! but it’s the truth). the point i’m trying to make here, though, is that while overthinking is of course not good or healthy, asking ‘how do i not be bothered/overthink’ is just putting a bandaid on an issue that you should work out sooner rather than later in your relationship. honestly sweetpea your guy probably thinks everything is fine and dandy!!! and he will continue to think so until you voice your thoughts, right? he would want you to be upfront about things that are bothering you, just as i’d think YOU would want HIM to be upfront about something bothering him, that way you can work through it together early on and find a solution that works!!

HELLO my precious love letter!!!!!! aw sweetpea i’m so sorry to hear that :((( university can be so stressful and overwhelming!!! so i’m super super proud of you for getting lots of work done too!!!!!! that’s incredible love letter aaah i’m really glad to hear it!!! <333 oooooh uni tips okay okay!!!

i think the best tip i can give you, and the best tip that worked for me personally (and it’s fine if this doesn’t work for you!!) is to craft yourself a solid routine and strictly adhere to it. this takes trial and error (to find something that works well for you) as well as practice and self-discipline (to form the habit) but it was invaluable to me. it’s something i’ve been currently working on revising now that i’m out of school and juggling new responsibilities (tho i think i’ve finally found something that works!!!)

i just find that, for me at least, having a routine or a schedule makes me so much more efficient!!! i think the other tips i’d give you are:

- to take breaks: even if your cramming, or you procrastinated and are now stuck pulling an all-nighter to get ur work done, breaks are so important. even if they’re just for five minutes! you are not a machine, and even computers need breaks, right? your brain and body need time to recuperate!!! and, if you’re able to adhere to my second tip below and begin assignments well before their due date, take even longer breaks. here’s something i used to do: i’d promise myself a ‘reward’ after i finished a specific amount of work for the night. so, for example, i’d tell myself alright, read and make notes for these three articles, and then you can spend the rest of the night writing/watching a film etc.

- try your best to plan ahead and start assignments early: i know i know i knoooooow everyone says this, and i know it can be super difficult to do (especially if you have anxiety and/or are a perfectionist!) but it can be done, i pinky promise you!!! if i could do it, you can too!! try and view it in one of two ways (or both!): either 1. your work and education is very important to you, and you want to get the best out of it and make sure you’re learning all you can at the highest quality OR (and this one is very important regardless of whether or not #1 applies to you) 2. your mental and physical health are very important to you and you don’t want to put yourself into stressful situations that make you feel very icky >.< what helps me a lot are to-do lists and outlines!!! i outline the heck out of everything, seriously ._.

- remember that none of this is worth a mental breakdown and that it does not determine your worth as a person or your intelligence in any way: this is something i wish i had reminded myself of more often (like when i had a legitimate breakdown over a B+...... yeah,,), so i’m always sure to tell others as much as i can!!! but it’s true. school is just school, even if it’s important to you (it certainly was to me!! very much!!); no one is perfect, and you can’t always avoid getting a few lower marks than you would’ve wished!! don’t be too hard on yourself, you’re trying <3

- if you’re doing your best, then it means you’re doing all you possibly can, and that’s all anyone can ever ask of you—including yourself: honestly this is just life advice in general LMAO but it also goes hand in hand with the tip above. you’re here at school to learn, so learn!! we learn the best from our mistakes and ‘failures’. you can’t expect yourself to be fantastic at something you’re new to, or something you’ve just begun learning about, you know??? it’s the same with any skill/craft/art—no one is amazing right off the bat!! we all start somewhere <3

i also gave an anon some tips on writing an essay last minute, if you’d like those as well!! i hope these help you out at least a little, love letter bb <333 i know that many of these tips require you to have/build a certain level of self-discipline, but you can do this!!!! i am rooting for you!!!!!! self-discipline is simply a skill anyone can strengthen!!! <33

aaaaaah sweet angel dollars hello!!! <3 not particularly, to be honest!! i’ve been planning out the last few months of 2021 in terms of writing tho and that’s getting me super excited!!

ooh, that is a very good question! and i think that it’s quite a difficult question to answer, because style (regardless of the art medium) is such a personal thing, and every single creator has their very own unique style/aura inherently and irrevocably imbued within their work that is comprised of their personal experiences, feelings, opinions, beliefs, influences, art that has had an impact on them in some way, etc etc etc the list goes on forever. sometimes these styles can be more distinct or noticeable than others, but i genuinely believe everyone possesses one, even if it’s less developed than someone else’s. i’m going to get more into this under the cut because i have a feeling this is going to be a LOOONG answer hehe <3

okay FIRST OF ALL i want to say thank you for your compliment on my smut!!! that means so much to me you don’t even know, because i work so dang hard on my smut (it takes me up to a week to write one smut scene, on average!), so thank you!!! <333

secondly, the reason why i mentioned style above is because i want you to know that you DO possess your own style, just like everyone else, and as you continue to create it will show itself more, and more, and more; it will continue to strengthen itself and distinguish itself (but it is already there, it already exists in your work, i promise!). my favourite thing about creating art is that there’s virtually no cap to it; you’re never going to reach the top or the peak of writing because you will continue to improve and get better for as long as you live (or create hehe).

as such, my primary piece of advice to you is to look through your work and begin analyzing it. what elements do you notice cropping up repeatedly? what themes are present? which literary devices do you seem to gravitate towards? what is your favourite thing to write about? do you enjoy writing prose or dialogue more? where are your strengths? are you happy with them, or are there other areas of writing which you’d also like to strengthen? if so, make a plan on how you’d like to focus on those and put it into practice. when you analyze your own work like this, you really begin to notice the pieces of YOU sewn into your art and what distinguishes you and your style from everyone else.

my secondary piece of advice to you is to pay attention to life around you as well as to continue consuming art of all mediums. inspiration is EVERYWHERE, every single day, you just have to look! it’s in your daily life; in the way your family speaks to each other, the way you interact with others, your friends’ mannerisms, people off daydreaming in their own worlds while grocery shopping, in bits and pieces of conversations you hear while walking home or riding the subway, in your memories, in the WAY you remember things, in your own experiences both good and bad, happy and painful. extract that information, use it, morph it, break it, reconstruct it, collage it, crumple it, make it into something new, make it yours.

the point here is that no one, and i mean NO ONE, will experience the world the exactly way you do; there may be others who experience it similarly, but they will never truly be 100% the same, because THEY AREN’T YOU. you’re a one-of-a-kind, unique individual, with your own thoughts and emotions and opinions and experiences etc and all of these things come together to create your very own unique worldview (and art!). i kind of feel like this mr. rogers post explains it quite well, too <3

additionally, watch movies that you love and analyze why you love them; listen to your favourite artists and ask yourself how they make you feel and why; write yourself a small personal essay or a journal entry on what an illustration or painting makes you feel, etc. i think it’s very important here to distinguish between taking inspiration from others’ style vs imitating their style, purely because imitating their style won’t do anything for yours; it isn’t going to evolve or grow your own style because it isn’t your own style, you know? annie (@/rat-zuki) said this a while ago and i loved it so much so i’m going to repeat it here: creativity works on the basis of inspiration to innovation. which is to say, take those elements that inspire you, or that you really love, and make them your own! you already have your own style, something that is YOURS and special to you, so take these elements and fit/fold/mold them in there! make them special to you, too! your art/style/aura is essentially a whole collage of everything i mentioned above the cut; all of your influences and experiences and inspirations and how YOU see them, how you experience them, how you interpret them, how you feel them, etc. *reminder that we are talking about STYLE here, not plot/story; imitating a plot/story would be plagiarism, which you obviously should never do

as for writing smut in particular, this answer is the best advice i have for you. like i said there, the majority of my smut comes from my own experiences, so it’s a lot of me breaking down those experiences and analyzing them in terms of mood + feeling etc. hehehe (i’ve gotten into the habit of writing down how i felt and what happened after i have really good sex LMAO it always makes my boyfriend laugh)

AAAAH i hope this makes sense!!! i know it’s very long, but this is also a very complex question and i wanted to try my best to make sure i was coming across as clearly as possible. but hopefully this helps you sweetpea <3
