Bella Ramsey hc first kiss
Tumblr media
Not requested but I could only think of this prompt but sorry if it’s bad I rushed it.
Also sorry for not posting I suck at thinking of prompts but also I’ve been working on a sorry for scream 6 because I have a fixation on it but I’ve created a story bored I think it’s called but I’m making new characters so not I’m going through and adding them.
Also I’m working on a request for hbo Ellie sorry I only write for her ellie and then a Danny Brackett x reader or smut idk yet but I’ll get one done tomorrow hopefully.
No warnings
I feel like Bella would hide his feeling from you in fear of you not likening him causing him to distance himself away from you for a little.
Once you confront them they would just hide their feeling but hangout with you like normal.
I feel like the first kiss would be somewhere like on the couch at their house.
The first kiss would be a moment like when you laughing and keeping eye contact till you both are done laughing you just stay there staring at them.
They would get enough courage and finally tell you and of course you say you like them back because I mean why else would you be reading this headcanon.
You both would slowly pull towards each other until Bella just kisses you because of how badly they wanted to kiss you.
Once you both pull back he would smile after the kiss and if you smile after the kiss Bella would have to stop himself from folding right then and there.
You both just stay there staring at each other till one of you pulls back in.
You both pull back smiling and flustered.
The rest of the day/night you both just stay on the couch holding each other watching water he put on while once in a while kissing each other of feeling him kiss you head and rubbing your scalp till you fall asleep.
You both would just stay there in eachothers arms sleeping and not caring about anything else.
I’m currently in a Bella Ramsey and Jenna Ortega brain rot.

NEW APARTMENT
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Ellie Williams x fem reader
Sypnosis: you and Ellie move into your new apparent with the help of your parents and Joel.
Warnings: Pure Fluff
A/N: I absolutely LOVEEE this idea so imma do it with all three of them starting with my bugaboo Ellie this fanfic will be based off the song New Apartment by Ari Lennox sorry if it’s short and rushed might make another part of this.
Tumblr media
“You ready Bae?” Ellie asks as you look at them before smiling at her. You and Ellie are finally moving in with each other it was Ellie’s idea since she was tired of Joel just barging in whenever he felt like it. And your house wasn’t even better cause your parents were obsessed with telling Joel everything or just embarrassing y’all in general.
“Yea I am,” you say before turning around and seeing your parents exiting the elevator with a box in their hand “Then unlock the door bae” Ellie stated pointing at the lock you nod your head before entering the key into the lock but not turning it you breath in…out…in…out before turning the lock and opening the door to your new apartment.
You, Ellie, and your parents enter with awe “You guys live here?” This is beautiful!” Your mother states placing a box down you turn to her and smile “I didn’t think it would be this big” you say as Ellie looks at her phone looking at the pictures she got sent of the apartment. “Weird it doesn’t say anything about their being a second floor” she spoke before showing you the pictures.
“Well, this is quite nice,” a voice from behind you spoke you and Ellie turn around and is met with Joel with a box in his hand and a smile on his face. “Place that box over there” you point at the entrance of what you think and hope is the kitchen. Joel nods before walking over and placing the box down “Ellie, come help me with these boxes” Joel says as Ellie groans before following him out of the door.
You smile before turning to your parents who just walk around looking at the empty apartment. “I feel like with the help of the five of us we could be done by tonight and I know everybody will be exhausted so thank your mother I made Soup Joumou” (a Haitian dish with Squash, beef, potatoes, and vegetables) your mother says grabbing ahold of your shoulders you smile before hugging her. “Thank you momma oh what would I do without you” you beamed as she rolls her eyes. “Probably dead,” your father says as you laugh.
“Y/N you are the smartest human being on earth I never knew you could order your furniture and schedule what day you want it delivered,” Ellie says coming in with a big box and Joel right behind her. You walk over to the box observing it “It’s our couch Ellie!” You squeal as your father snickers taking the big box away from Ellie and placing it in the living room so he can build it.
“Ellie let’s look around,” you ask grabbing her hand and pulling her around y’all’s new apartment. Everything was beautiful empty but beautiful the bathroom was big enough for the two of you to be in it at the same time. Ellie’s office was something she liked very much “I could make this my man cave,” she says as you blankly stare at her. “But you’re not- y’know what never mind” Ellie snickers before looking at door you walk over to it seeing another bathroom connected to it. “You get your own bathroom ugh lucky,” you say as Ellie smiles.
“Wow look at this bedroom Ellie,” You say as you spin around in complete awe Ellie stays by the door with a smile on their face just looking at you fangirl “Look Ellie look we have a walk-in closet!” You scream as you turn to your girlfriend just staring at you. “I love you, Ellie,” you say walking over to her to hug her she smiles before kissing your forehead “I love you too Y/N let’s go down and finish helping them,” she says as you nod your head.
“Y/N go downstairs and grab the food from out of my car,” your mother says as Joel turns to your mother “I brought some food as well cause I thought we would be too exhausted to cook,” he says as he hands Ellie his keys. “Well I guess we gonna have a feast,” you say walking out the door with Ellie to go to your parent's car “and leftovers” you smile as you enter the elevator with Ellie “I hope you know that my parents gonna wanna come over a lot now that we have our own apartment now” you state as Ellie nods her head.
“Joel will as well,” she says as you leave the elevator and walk to the lobby you stop Ellie and point to the door seeing two people standing there waving with stuff in their hands “You gotta be fucking kidding me,” Ellie says walking over to the door to open it to reveal you and Ellie’s friends, Dina and Jesse. “Hi my two little love birds,” Dina says with a big smile on her face and with a cafe box in her hand “I bought a new apartment cake to celebrate your new apartment!” She adds opening the box to show you and Ellie.
“Jesse bought apple cider cause why not,” She says as you smile at your friend follow you out the apartment lobby and to the car “Thank you, Dina, but you really didn’t have to do that” you commented as Dina scoffs slightly offended “I did your my best friend, of course, I’m gonna buy you a home warming gift, which Jesse has in the car just say thank you damn it” you snicker before picking up the big crockpot filled with Soup Joumou “Thank you Dina” you say closing your parents car door and locking it. “Your welcome now let's hurry I wanna see the apartment,” she says as you roll your eyes at your friend. “it's not quite done yet,” you say as she also rolls her eyes.
“I don’t judge, who am I to judge anybody I still live with my parents” Dina stated walking into the elevator with you. “speaking of them how are they?” You ask Dina’s parents love you they think of you as their child so when you told them about you moving into your very own apartment they were happy for you. “see Dina I wish you were more like Y/N” her mother says in a playful tone Dina rolls her eyes at her mother as you bust into a laughing fit. “She wants to come visit someday,” Dina says as you nod your head.
You open the door to your apartment as Dina gasps in awe at the apartment slowly coming together. “Y/N hand the crockpot to me so I can plug it in,” your mother says taking the pot away from you and placing it on the counter. “What did you bring Joel?” You ask washing your hands in the sink he removes the foil from the food he made “Brisket sandwiches, Tuna Casserole, banana pudding, and then Ellie help me with the cornbread” he says as you nod at what he said.
“I bought a cake and Jesse bought apple cider,” Dina says once again but to your parents who take the cake and Cider from Dina and Jesse “Sit, Sit” Your mother orders as everyone crowds around the dining room table. “Ellie, I got y’all a home warming gift,” Jesse says holding a box in his hand. he hands it to Ellie as she thanks him and unwraps it you glance over at the thing in Ellie’s hand “No way a PS5!” She yells excitedly.
“You shouldn’t have!” Ellie says as Jesse smiles at his friend Fangirl over her gift “Y/N now we can play shit together!” She says as you nod your head thanking your mother who placed Soup Joumou and another plate for Joel’s food down. “We should have dinners like this every Sunday night” Joel requests as your father nods in agreement “I don’t see a problem with it,” Ellie says.
“Of course, you don’t you don’t even know how to cook” you comment as Ellie rolls her eyes at what you said “You can always teach her,” your mother says taking Ellie’s side you scoff. “please I’ve tried plenty of times but every time I do she somehow manages to fuck up everything they touch” You add as Joel laughs and Ellie doesn’t say anything. “But don’t worry Ellie not everybody is good at these types of things” you smile as Ellie sticks her tongue out at what you said. “I remember when Ellie burnt a cup of noodles because she forgot to add water,” Jesse says as the table erupts with laughter “Jesse really? You’re supposed to side with me!”
“Sorry dude, not my fault you can’t cook” he adds as Dina nods her head before adding something. “She put two eggs in the microwave once and when she when to cut it it exploded in her face” you laugh at what Dina says as your parents interrupt. “When does your bed set get here?” Your father asks as you shrug your shoulders. “Tomorrow probably” you answer as he nods his head “We made a pad on the floor with our sheets and shit so we are set for right now,” Ellie says stuffing her face with food. Your mother nods before giggling “Y’all’s back gonna hate y’all” she says as you and Ellie look at each other.
“Don’t worry about it though it shouldn’t hurt THAT bad” she says with a sarcastic tone in her voice. Just make sure you place a lot of blankets down and you should be good” Dina adds in
You and Ellie say goodbye to your friends and family and cleaning up the mess left behind and placing the gifts given by your parents, Joel, and your friend away. “Finally the two of us,” Ellie says changing out of her clothes you two decided on sleeping in the living room since the couch was big enough for you guys to lay down on you guys decided comfort was better than discomfort.
“I’m exhausted!” You yawn as Ellie walks out with a sports bra and boxers on “same” Ellie says sitting up on the couch and reaching for her computer to find a movie to watch. “This was the best decision that we have ever made” you whisper trying to fight sleep Ellie smiles caressing your shoulders. Picking out a movie she places it on the box you guys are using as a table for right now. “I’m glad we are gonna spend all of our time together,” she says as she moves you over slightly to lay down with you.
“Tomorrow the stuff you order for your office comes” Ellie nods her head before looking at the ceiling. “I love you, Ellie,” you say closing your eyes before dozing off “I love you too princess we have a long day tomorrow,” she says before focusing on the movie playing.

Come Home Chapter Twelve
Joel Miller x F! Reader
Word count: 5755
Fluff, fluff and more fluff. With a little angst on the side. We finally get a small insight into what has been tormenting reader, along with Ellie behaving very strangely. And of course, it's the morning after the night before...
Spoiler for what Joel does for Ellie for her sixteenth birthday (as shown in TLOU 2). Its my favourite scene of either game and I can't wait to see Pedro and Bella bring it to life!

Come Home
Chapter Twelve - Dull The Pain
Music pounds so hard you can feel the vibrations in your chest. The neon-painted corridor you’re standing in is so tiny that condensation is running down the walls from the bodies packed tight together. There’s a queue. Why is there always a goddamn queue? You’d think by this point they’d design these places with twice as many stalls as urinals. You shuffle, tensing the muscles in your leg to distract from your bladder and then stand on tip toe, trying to see over the heads of the people ahead of you.
People…no, not people. Not anymore. No laughing. No chattering. No hopes or dreams. Just swaying, drunk on the chemicals of infection that the fungus is pushing. You walk among them and they do not attack, their skulls with their fungal-infested sockets merely turn to look at you impassively as you go, as if you're as dead as they are. You have to get out. But there is only one way through, one chance at salvation. The black doorway looms large. The door to the bathroom.
But then...it isn't. It's a different door. One that you keep your back to every second of every day. You try to stop your feet from moving forward but it's as if the fungus really is driving your motor functions and you have no control anymore. The music is gone, relegated to a time long dead, but your heart still jars with its pulse. The walls are blank now, a mysterious slate grey at the edges of the halo of your torchlight. You are alone, no infected to watch your progression and you feel a gaping loss for the poor company they provided.
The focused beam reflects off the metal bars of a medical cart on wheels, the grid reflection cast wide upon the wall behind it. Nothing of value remains inside, just scattered dusty records of patients who were lucky enough to live in a world where people cared enough to write down what ailed them.
Shattered windows with twinkling broken shards of glass teeth line one wall and inside...you can't bring yourself to look. The mural that your light sweeps against tells all. Smiling rabbits and squirrels and raccoons dance eternally as giant, gleeful toadstools oversee everything. The cots lie in haphazard rows under their collective gaze.
But worse, far worse awaits and some desperate part of you thinks that maybe if you don't put your gas mask on this time that the outcome will change. That the place, the portal you can now see at the end of the corridor will open out into sunny pastures and true peace. Your fingers betray you, slipping the constriction into place to protect your body even as your soul is screaming.
And in the black doorway at the end of the corridor, the too-large figure begins to emerge…
“Hey!”
You sit up, panting and sweating and breathing so hard you think you’re going to pass out.
“Hey.” The voice is gentler this time and you realise a big hand is resting on your arm, squeezing it slightly, leading you back to reality. Squinting against the morning light that spills around the blinds you follow the path of the hand, up an arm to see Joel sitting beside you with a look of concern on his face.
“You’re okay. Just a dream.”
“Yeah. Yeah…a dream,” you gasp. He sits in silence with you while your breathing returns to normal, then silently hands you a cup of coffee which you take with a wan smile.
“A man of your word I see, Miller. Thanks.”
“You’re welcome.” He picks up his own cup from where it rests on your bedside table and warms his hands around it. “Thought I’d let you sleep in. Maybe that was a mistake.”
“Nah, I appreciate it,” you say and you suddenly realise how husky your voice sounds from both the sleep and the aftereffects of the drink. You clear your throat. “It was just a bathroom dream.”
“Just?”
“There may have been infected also queuing for the bathroom.”
“Ah,” he nods sagely. “A classic.”
You huff a laugh and pull down a sip of the bitter, hot, steaming coffee.
“You okay?” The soft concern in his voice startles you and you blink up at him stupidly, head still feeling a little like cotton wool.
“Yeah…yeah I’m fine. There’s just…a recurring dream I also have which was kind of blending in to the bathroom dream. You woke me up before the best part of that for which I’m very grateful.”
He frowns and nods and the simple gestures tell you he knows exactly what you’re talking about.
“Guessin’ you don’t wanna talk about it.”
You shrug and open your mouth to say “Not really,” but what comes out instead is “I didn’t used to be like this.”
“None of us did.”
Your own desire to talk takes you by surprise and you don't know if its because you're still half asleep or because you know Joel will understand but you take a deep breath before plunging ahead.
“No I mean, of course the outbreak changed me. But even after that I didn’t used to be like this. I lost someone. He travelled with me to keep me safe on some stupid fucking goddamn mission I cooked up and…I lost him.” You draw your knees up to your chest and hold your coffee cup on top of your knee cap.
“And the worst part is that its not even what happened to him that gives me these fucking nightmares. I carried on. I went alone to do what I thought I had to do and-“ You break off and shake your head, then look up at Joel with a bitter smile.
“Doesn’t matter,” you say. “This is just the post-alcohol depression talking.” Another swig of scalding coffee helps to stabilise you. Sharing was one thing. Re-living was quite another.
Joel bites his lip as he stares into the black depths of his own coffee.
“I lost someone that way too.” His voice is so quiet you’re not even sure you heard him correctly. “When I first met Ellie. There were three of us at first and…she got bit in the process of protectin’ her.”
His jaw clenches in angry thought and you know that he too can’t forgive himself for his mistakes. For all of it. For any of it. Regardless of if it was his fault, it was his fault. So you don’t try to sympathise, don’t spout any platitudes. Instead you wordlessly slide your hand over his and squeeze it hard. His dark eyes flick to yours and bore into your skull and at that moment you know that you were wrong. He’s not a closed book, not at all. He walks with the weight of what this world has made of him every single moment. He carries it, clutches it to him like something precious because he doesn’t believe he deserves redemption, much less that anyone could redeem him. Something shifts in the air between you. An understanding settles like blossom on river rapids.
“But then there’s Ellie,” you whisper, and the trembling breath he releases tells you all you need to know.
“Then there’s Ellie,” he agrees, and you finish your coffees in comfortable silence, hanging on to one another’s hands for life itself.
After a shower and fresh clothes you feel much better, though your head is a little painful and the sun glaring off the snow outside is much too bright for your liking. Following a smell that makes your stomach rumble, you head downstairs to find Joel cooking.
“Eggs? I didn’t have any eggs.”
“I do. Or did,” he replies. “You look like you need ‘em.”
“Thanks,” you say in a sarcastic tone, though you genuinely are grateful for both the food and the thought. “I’ll have to make you guys dinner soon.”
“You don’t have to,” he corrects you. “This ain’t a transaction.”
“No, but…I want to,” you shrug. “I like having you and Ellie here.”
He gives that coy little smile again as he focuses his efforts on the pan and you feel your chest swell with affection. How can someone so rough around the edges be so…well…so damn cute?
“Take over will ya?” he asks. “I just gotta go to the bathroom.”
He departs and you resume pushing what will be scrambled egg around the pan. When you had first met Joel you would never have thought that you could be alike. He exuded danger and coiled menace, and you had seen that come to the fore when faced with the situation in the store. But every time you had opened up to him, he had reciprocated. Little by little, bit by bit, he was showing you other facets of himself and you found yourself more eager for that than you would necessarily like. He had trauma, everyone did. But his and yours seemed to stem from a similar place, at least in part. He understood the need to push away those things that you simply couldn’t deal with and he made no judgements. He understood that in order to survive you sometimes had to cut pieces away from the person that you had been and solder those wounds shut. He was so kind – to you and Ellie at least - but you didn’t doubt for a moment that he had been truthful when he said he was very different ten years ago. You wonder just what he and Ellie had gone through to bring about such a change.
A knock at the door jolts you from your reverie and you turn the eggs off and move the pan before going to answer it.
“Hey,” Ellie says, a nervous energy permeating her as she absent mindedly rubs her right arm. “Have you seen Joel? I don’t think he came home last night.”
“Oh, yeah,” you say, stepping back and gesturing for her to come in. “He’s-“
“Have you put a bookcase up against that door?” Joel’s voice rings out as the stomp of his boots comes down the stairs. “I mean that’s one way to deal with it I guess-oh! Hey, Ellie.”
Ellie’s eyes are wider than you’ve ever seen them, darting between you and Joel and a sly smirk begins to creep over her face.
“Before you say anything, no,” you say firmly.
“No what?” she asks innocently.
“You know what. No.”
“Hey, it’s none of my business what fogeys get up to when they’re alone!”
“Jesus Christ, Ellie,” Joel huffs as he joins you at the foot of the stairs, and you have your own moment of sneaking amusement at the fact that he looks quite flustered as he shakes his head in disapproval at her.
“Yes Joel, I put a bookcase against that door. Out of sight, out of mind, right?” you say, not taking your eyes off Ellie. “As for what we got up to-“
“Oh fuck! I don’t wanna know!” Ellie exclaims, suddenly horrified.
“-it involved very clothed sleeping. No touching, no kissing, no se-“
Ellie stuffs her fingers into her ears and walks off humming loudly before exclaiming “Can I have some of these eggs?!” as soon as she walks into the kitchen.
Joel and you exchange an amused glance and you notice a creeping redness up his neck before he goes off to portion what he has made on to plates.
What you had told her wasn’t strictly true. You had awoken sometime in the night to find yourself pressed in tight against Joel’s back, your arm thrown loosely around his hip and your cheek against the soft plaid of his shirt. He smelled even better this close – warm sleep musk mixed with an indefinable scent of comfort that was purely him and you had gently removed your arm and turned over before you got too enamoured of it.
He had other ideas, giving a deep, sleepy groan that shot straight to your core and then flipping over so he was on his side with his chest now pressed against your back and his arm thrown around your waist, his movements clumsy in his semi-conscious state. You had held yourself stiffly and hardly dared to breathe, wondering if it was intentional, if he wanted more. The gentle snores that came almost immediately told you no, and you relaxed back into his embrace, smiling drowsily as you fell back to sleep yourself. The next time you had awoken it had been to his hand on your arm and the relief that you wouldn’t have to relive yet another nightmare. You have no idea if he knew what had occurred, and you weren’t about to bring it up.
The morning passes in a haze of pleasant domesticity. While Joel goes back to his house to shower and change, you take Ellie into town to do some shopping and pick up eggs for both you and Joel, as well as some fruit, vegetables, rice and chicken. Next stop is the armoury. The bows and arrows that you had retrieved from the town had made you realise that it had been a while since you had practiced with that particular weapon, and you wanted to make sure your skills were up to par for the next planned sweep by a scouting party. Ellie sets up the targets in the yard outside, and you spend an hour being completely outmatched by her abilities, though you do get better under her tutelage as time goes on.
As you make your way back towards your respective houses, you get the impression she wants to talk to you. She’s dragging her feet a little through the stony slush on the ground, pensively looking down at them. You allow her time, and eventually your patience wins.
“So…you and Joel huh?” she says. Her voice is more timid than you’ve heard in a while, as though she’s scared of your answer.
“No," you laugh. "I meant what I said. Nothing happened between us. You know sometimes I’ve had…difficulties adjusting to life here. He helped me through one of them last night. Not like that,” you hasten to add, feeling heat rising in your face. “He just…he was kind to me.”
She nods, her face a little less anxious and a little more Ellie, a small smile creeping over her lips. “But at the dance…you guys were kinda close.”
“I was pretty drunk,” you admit. “He looked after me, made sure I didn’t make too much of an ass of myself and then helped me home. That’s all.”
“Do you like him?”
The direct nature of the question catches you off guard and you splutter a little in your reply. “Like him? I’m too old for that high school shit, Ellie.”
“I’m not hearing a ‘no’,” she shoots back in an irritating sing-song voice.
You sigh and try to collect your thoughts. “Of course I like him. He’s a good man. And he’s already helped me through a lot. So have you, come to that.”
“You know what I mean,” she presses.
“Ellie, I can’t think about shit like that,” you say, bluntly. “Much as I’d like to, it’s just not possible. I let myself get close to people and then they die. Chris…Jacob…A-Alex-“ The litany stops and so do you, squeezing your eyes tight against the memories that threaten to invade. You take a deep breath and open your eyes to look at the girl ahead of you. “It’s too hard.”
“And what if they don’t? Die I mean.”
You frown and try to make your next words as gentle as possible. “But everyone does. It’s just a matter of when.” Before she can formulate a reply, you carry on, trying to bring a levity back to the conversation as you continue walking. “I’m not taking your old man away from you, don’t worry.”
“Not what I’m worried about.” The reply is waspish and it takes you by surprise.
“Well then, what’s this all about?”
“Never mind. Just forget it.”
“Hey.” You stop again and gently touch her shoulder. “If there’s something bothering you and you don’t want to go to Joel you can talk to me. You know that.”
“Sure,” she says, nodding, but there is nothing else forthcoming and you walk the remainder of the journey in silence, wondering if you’ve somehow managed to already fuck up your friendship with her.
The afternoon is spent beginning to tackle the garage that came with the house. There’s not too much in there for which you’re grateful – some standard junk that you sort by usefulness. A pile for you, a pile to donate to the supplies in Jackson and stuff that you think should probably be thrown away. Then you clear the cobwebs and dust and sweep up as much as you can. The light is beginning to fade as you stand tall and stretch out your back. Maybe tonight you should use your bath as intended, though you’re not sure of the wisdom of using that much hot water in one go. Deciding to shower instead you open up the garage door to leave, but before you can you hear a flurry of raised voices from next door.
“Jesus, Joel. Can’t you just fucking leave it alone?”
“No, I can’t. Not when you’re bein’ pissy with me for no goddamn reason!”
You don’t want to hear this. You don’t want to intrude on anything so personal and you definitely don’t want to think about the possibility that you’re the reason for Ellie’s bad mood that she’s now taking out on Joel. As you exit the garage as quickly and quietly as you can you hear Joel’s voice again.
“Ellie? Where are you goin’? Ellie!” Then the distinct sound of Joel’s side gate slamming hard and his quiet curse of “Goddamnit!”
You creep up your back steps and your hand is on the door handle and about to turn it when –
“Uh. Hey.”
You close your eyes against the thought of the conversation that will follow, but turn and speak to Joel who is standing in his yard looking both angry and a little ashamed.
“Hey.”
“So…guessin’ you heard all that.”
“I wasn’t trying to, I swear,” you protest. “I was just finishing clearing out some of my garage and-"
He’s shaking his head. “Naw. S’ok. We musta been pretty loud. Not used to havin’ neighbours still I guess.” He rubs his hand on the back of his neck in an embarrassed sort of way.
“Are you okay?”
“Fine. I just…I don’t get that kid sometimes.”
You lean against the wooden railings of your porch and take hold of the top of it, feeling the paint crumble a little under your hands.
“But you do remember what it was like to be fifteen?”
He scoffs and folds his arms. “I guess.”
“I’m sure she’ll be fine. She just needs some time to work out whatever’s bothering her.” Joel nods, but his jaw is still set angrily and his eyes are faraway as he stares toward the place that she stormed away.
“I uh…” You grip the railing more firmly, anxiety swirling in your stomach at your imminent confession. “I think it might be my fault.”
Joel looks taken aback. “What, you guys have a fight or somethin’?”
“No…yes? I don’t know really.”
“Look, why don’t you come over? I don’t really wanna discuss this outside in the dark when I’m not wearin’ a coat.”
“Understandable. I’ll be right there.”
You remember to grab the eggs you had got for him before crossing to his side of the fence and knocking on his front door.
“Come on in,” he calls from inside.
You weren’t entirely sure what you had been expecting in Joel’s house, but the first impression that hits you is that this is a home. The hallway lies in front of you and opens up to his living room, along one entire wall of which is a huge, beautiful bookshelf, packed with ornaments, framed pictures, video cassettes, DVDs, books and magazines. His furniture actually matches – a brushed suede settee in beige with a reclining chair off to one side and a window seat also upholstered in the same, all with plump, welcoming cushions on them. He was correct in saying that it is more modern than your house, but not by much. It does, however, exude a charming middle class quality that is distinctly lacking in yours.
You don’t get a chance to be nosier than that before he’s calling you, and you follow the sound of his voice into the delicious warmth of his kitchen, which is fitted in shades of warm white wood, a large central unit in the middle of it all against which he is leaning, his back toward it and arms outstretched behind.
“Drink?” he offers.
“Tea?” you ask hopefully, and he nods and begins to prepare it.
“So what happened?”
What did happen? You don’t really have a good answer for him, so you start from the beginning.
“We did some shopping – here’s your eggs by the way – and then we practiced some archery. Well, I practiced, she told me where I was going wrong. And then on the way home she seemed to have something on her mind and when I tried to talk to her about it she just shut down.”
“Any idea what it was about?” his voice is full of concern and you realise you can’t keep the details from him, no matter how much it might embarrass you.
“Well she…she asked about us.” He raises a questioning eyebrow at you and you plunge ahead. “ ‘You and Joel huh?’ were her exact words. I told her again that nothing like that had happened last night. And then she asked-well she asked if I liked you. I said of course I did, you’ve been nothing but kind and generous to me. Both of you. But she meant…well, you know. And when I said that I can’t think of that kind of stuff because…well because of the past, she just shut down.”
“Hmm,” Joel says, his back to you as he grabs two cups and places them on the counter. “Anythin’ else?”
“I told her...I told her everyone dies,” you blurt out. “And that’s why I can’t get close to anyone. I thought…I thought that being who she is and living the life she has that she would understand that. But maybe…she’s so young. Maybe I shouldn’t have been so blunt about it. And I said-“ You take a deep breath before continuing. “I said that I wasn’t going to be taking you away from her and she said she wasn’t worried about that and that’s when she stopped talking completely. I’m sorry if I overstepped. Or if I was insensitive.”
He continues to make the tea in silence, his back to you and your anxiety moves even harder through your veins.
“Joel? Did I…did I fuck up?”
He sighs before turning to you and handing you a steaming cup that smells wonderfully of apple and winter spices.
“No, I don’t think you did. Comin’ to Jackson has been an adjustment. Well, you know yourself…Sometimes she confuses the hell outta me and I just wonder if I’m too old to be raisin’ a teenager. Especially now. What the fuck do I know about what she’s goin’ through?”
“Well,” you say slowly, picking your words carefully so as not to betray any of Ellie’s confidences. “I never raised a teenager. Or any kids for that matter.” You stop, take a breath, get a firm grip on yourself. “But you know some of what she’s been through because you lived it too. Its hard…now you’re safe. The stuff you couldn’t allow yourself to feel, it starts to come through anyway no matter how much you might not want it to. And so much stuff is so much more important at her age. Being liked by her peers. Finding out who she is. That’s all still there but we got to do it in high school. I’m not saying high school was great, but there were things you took for granted y’know. There were lots of people to bounce off and figure shit out. She has to find her own way. I guess…all you can do is always be there for her.”
Joel nods slowly, seeming to absorb your words. “I will,” is all he says firmly before taking a sip of tea.
You relocate to the living room, where you carefully put your steaming cup on a coaster on the table while Joel lights the gas fire that sits under an ornamental mantelpiece.
“Ooooh fancy,” you tease.
“I actually prefer yours,” he says, collapsing onto the soft cushions with a slight groan on the other side of the couch from you. “Nothin, like an open fire.”
“Your house is beautiful,” you say, looking around and taking it in again. “Guess this is what you get when your sister-in-law runs the joint.”
He grins softly. “Ellie chose it.” His face suddenly clouds. “You think I should go after her? I’m kinda worried. She has a history of…runnin’ off.”
“If you want to,” you reply gently. “And I’ll help if you want that too. But if you find her before she wants to be found, would it make things worse? I mean…you don’t think she’s gone out out, do you?”
Both of you look outside simultaneously, your eyes drawn to the darkness beyond the windows by the horrific notion.
“I’m goin’ to the stables,” Joel says as he puts his own tea on the table and stands, the firmness of his voice still not enough to quell the faint note of panic you can hear underneath.
“I’ll go look around town,” you say, standing too and grabbing your coat from where it lay on the back of the couch.
Before either of you get any further, you hear a scuffling on the porch and then the sound of the door opening. Joel moves quickly into the hall and his relieved sigh of “Ellie,” is enough to make your stomach untwist itself. Faint murmuring reaches your ears and you debate sneaking out of the back door to give them the time they need together. You don’t get a chance to make a move before Ellie is coming around the corner, looking at the floor slightly shamefaced and twisting her fingers together.
“Hey,” you greet her. “I was just gonna go. Sorry to interrupt-“
“No, no,” she says, “Its…its cool. Stay.” Joel nods his agreement behind her and you take your coat off again. A slightly awkward silence falls between the three of you before Ellie ventures, “So…you guys wanna play cards?”
The peace offering is taken up and the evening ends up as so many of them have recently, with stupid jokes and playful teasing and smiles all around. After Ellie beats you and Joel for the third time in a row, the crowing becomes almost unbearable and to make it stop you offer her something you know she won’t be able to refuse.
“Hey, Ellie?”
She gives a tiny delicate cough. “I think you know that’s not my name right now,” she says somehow managing to sound both prim and full of glee.
“Fine! Supreme Queen of Go Fish and Jackson in general-“
“Yes, peasant loser? What can your Queen do for you?”
“You want your Christmas present a little early?”
All pretence drops from her as she sits forward eagerly. “You got me a present?”
“Sure did. And Joel said he’d be more than willing to help you use them.”
Ellie says “Them?” as Joel says “What now?” and you laugh as you rush out of the house to collect the skates. You place them into one of the many boxes that you had emptied out of the garage this afternoon and inwardly curse your impulsivity and bemoan the fact that you hadn’t made it look nicer for her before heading back to Joel’s.
“Thank you,” she breathes as you hand her the box, her eyes bright with excitement. When she opens them, her face falls just for a second. “Oh! Thank you. But I-uh-I don’t know how to skate.”
“Well I thought I could teach you,” you smile. “Or Joel can. He’s not half bad when he’s not falling on his ass.”
Joel covers his eyes with his hand as Ellie giggles. “I ask you to keep one goddamn secret,” he jokes.
“Yeah, I’d like to learn,” Ellie says happily. “Is this where you went earlier in the week when you were “scouting”?”
“I got these from when we actually did go on patrol through that town. But earlier in the week we were scouting, just not for supplies. There’s a good lake not far from here. It’s safe, the ice is thick enough. Tested and approved by Joel’s ass and my knees.”
“One time! I fell one time!” Joel protests. “Pretty good considerin’ I haven’t skated in almost thirty years!”
“This is so cool! Thanks,” Ellie smiles happily. She stands, clutching the box to her chest. “Well, I’m gonna leave as the undefeated Queen and turn in.”
“Chicken,” teases Joel.
“I am making a tactical retreat,” she replies haughtily. “G'night, fogies!”
Joel grins fondly after her as she departs. “Night, Ellie.”
You wait until you hear the door close softly behind her before asking what you want to.
“She okay?”
“She’s fine,” Joel reassures you. “Just needed some time. And while we’re still on the subject of gift givin’ I have a favour to ask you.”
“Sure, what do you need?”
“It’s Ellie’s sixteenth in April. Now I got an idea of what I wanna do for her, but I’m gonna need your help. I’m plannin’ to take her to a museum. Its a few days ride out."
“What museum?”
The Wyoming Museum of Science and History. She loves space, thought I’d take her to see the exhibits if there are any left. But it won’t be much of a birthday if we’re fightin’ off infected every step of the way. I need your help to check it out, clear a path to it. You up for it?”
“Damn straight,” you say with a smile. “I love a museum. And no one can tell me not to touch anything now!”
Joel relaxes back into the couch, a relieved smile on his face. “Thanks. I was gonna ask Tommy originally, but he’s got so much shit to do with the dam that I woulda felt bad takin’ him away from it.”
“Not a problem. Might be fun. Apart from the possible infected. When do we go?”
“Not for a while. Not till the weather gets a little better. We’d need to go partway anyway, sweep those areas once the snow clears and make sure it’s all okay.”
“Sounds like a plan.” You drain the remnants of your tea and then stand. “I better get going too. Otherwise she’s gonna think there really is something going on between us.”
“Before you do, just…hold on a sec, okay?”
Joel springs up from the couch and retrieves a small parcel wrapped in brown paper from one of the shelves on the bookcase. He hands it to you with a smile.
“Since you’ve decided we’re doin’ Christmas presents early.”
Your mouth falls open in shock. “Oh shit, Joel no. I didn’t get you anything. I mean, you’re more than welcome to pick through the stuff I found in the garage, but unless you REALLY like old copies of classic car magazines you might be shit outta luck.”
“Its okay. Honestly, sharin’ your coffee has been more than enough. Well go on. Open it.”
A rush of warmth and excitement trills through you. The presents you and Chris had managed to exchange each year had been tokens at best. This felt like...well it felt like-
You gasp as you unwrap the book to find a beautifully embossed book of John Keats poetry in your hands. Your eyes rove over the cover, not quite comprehending that you actually had a copy in your hands and more, that Joel had given you something so precious and meaningful.
“Ellie said he was your favourite.” His gravelly voice breaks into your shock and you manage to nod at him, your eyes suddenly watery.
“Thank you. So much. This is…this is incredible.” You skim through the pages, to find them barely touched by the ravages of time. Even the cover is only mildly battered. “Where did you even get this?”
“I might’ve been on a sweep with Tommy and we may have come across a bookstore. I got me some more Game of Thrones books too, don’t you worry.”
You laugh, but it sounds like half a sob and half a hiccup when you do.
“Thank you,” you whisper again, managing to tear your eyes away from the book to look at him instead.
“You’re welcome,” he says softly.
He walks you down the hall to the door and when he opens it, instead of stepping through immediately you move forward to hug him, your arms barely able to circle the breadth of his shoulders. You feel him tense at the contact, but before you can pull away and apologise you feel his arms come tentatively around your back, holding you a little closer. His beard is prickly against your upper cheek, his muscles hard under your hands, his scent once again filling your nose and before you allow yourself to get dragged too deeply into that undertow you pull back.
“Goodnight, Joel.”
“Goodnight,” he smiles softly, dimple winking in his cheek.
The short walk back to your house feels like you’re walking on air. The thoughtfulness and beauty of the gift is unparalleled, the emotions spiralling uncontrollably from you are all blissfully good. Tonight, the tub is just that and you barely even contemplate getting in before heading toward the soft welcome of your bed. You lie there for a moment, thinking about the warmth of Joel's hands on your back and the soft light in his eyes when he saw your joy at his gift. You turn over to hug the pillow that his head had laid on, wrapped in his comforting scent and smiling into the darkness.

The Last of Us episode one rewatch
"Cordyceps, aspergillus, any of them could become capable of burrowing into our brains and taking control not of millions of us, but billions of us. billions of puppets with poisoned minds permanently fixed on one unifying goal to spread the infection."
The amount of fear that settled in that room... good god. Like right off the fucking bat tlou starts off really fucking intense. No one wants to hear, "the world is fucked at that point" it's a hard fucking pill to swallow.
"Get your homework done?" I love the look Sarah gives him, "you can hardly take care of yourself and you're asking me about fractions?" LOL.
The slow southern drawl in Pedro's voice is even better when I wear headphones. I'm also secretly admiring his arms... fuck me. And we only get Tommy for barely five minutes and it's so easy to love the man too. It's uncanny how Gabriel Luna sounds so similar to Jeffrey Pierce.
The entire time Sarah has her back turned to the old woman; I'm internally screaming at her to get the fuck outta that house.
"Stay indoors," then Sarah goes outside. Girl, I know like 8 of the Halloween movies have come out, and you dare to venture outside? Then into the Adler's house knowing damn well that Mercy refused to step inside.
"Help me." No, bitch. Run!
Fuck those things coming out of that woman's mouth just get nastier and nastier every time I see it.
You see one of the many things I love about Joel Miller, is that his instinct to survive doesn't gradually happen over time it's an immediate switch. He no longer sees people anymore or has the compassion to even think about helping others. It's all about keeping his family safe. Keeping Sarah safe. He apologized to Sarah for scaring her and didn't even take a second to even feel remorse for killing that Runner, to Sarah it was still a person.
Until Sarah mentioned terrorists, I had forgotten that the series is set two years after 9/11.
Protective Joel pre-outbreak and post-outbreak is just... ugh, it's a sight to see on my screen again.
The first time I watched the runner getting closer to Sarah and Joel, I was too occupied with the stress and knowing that my heart was going to be ripped from my chest to see Sarah die. I can't help but laugh now at the number of times that runner was bumping and tipping over itself. I'm sorry, it's the desperation.
If you think "the government wouldn't ever do that" just know they absolutely fucking would kill anyone they thought might be infected. Even if you weren't.
Literally trying not to cry in a coffee shop right now... the acting from Pedro alone as he pleads for Sarah to stay with him, damn it all to hell. So fucking heartbreaking.
I have a weakness for the salt-and-pepper look on a man, it's fucking sexy. Especially on men like Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac.
"Yeah, but what about your guy." That tells you all you need to know about Joel. Man is fucking scary.
"Seven, eight, fuck... you." Ellie my girl, I just love you. Bella is perfect and no one can change my mind about it.
"We are in a war against FEDRA to restore democracy and freedom." I'd believe it if it wasn't for the amount of bullshit spewing from Marlene's mouth. Maybe she believes that... but I sure as fuck don't. I mean it's like she said it's been twenty years, and none of that shit exists anymore. She's trying to rebuild a past that would come at such a high cost. Building that type of society again wouldn't be worth it.
"Kim, you don't have a fuckin' ear on your fuckin' head." LMFAO!!
"What are they capable of?" A lot of terrible shit. Joel also has no problem committing mass murder. I love him and I'm scared of him in equal measure.
The way Pedro sits on the couch with his legs spread like that is seared into my brain. I think about it. A LOT. I'm just:
Tumblr media
You can see the exact moment Joel, no longer sees Ellie and is instantly replaced with the memory of Sarah. My man hasn't even gone through the five stages of grief yet and almost ended up in the same situation, in the same episode, with two different children.

How The Last of Us brought me closure...
I never related so much to a TV show in all my life and I think I understand why The Last of Us clicked with me so easily. It took me months to get to a conclusion, but I finally did.
It wasn't because I have played the game beforehand and enjoyed it way too much for the age I had when it was released. It wasn't because of its action packed timeline or the plot twists that kept on happening. None of that mattered.
I told myself I would not watch it, because I knew how the game played out and I was scared I will get attached to characters that will die sooner, or later, and it would break my heart every time.
Somehow, I played the first episode and I knew that was me getting hooked on everything this TV show had to offer, from characters, to places and even, situations they were going through. I found myself sucked into their Universe and I did not want to let go.
I watched the father-daughter relationship form and blossom in between Joel and Ellie, and that is when I caught myself holding my breath throughout scenes internally screaming "No, please, don`t go there" while grasping on my blanket trying to avoid eye contact with the screen.
Little did I know that, in my brain, their relationship will start bringing out to the surface memories I had with my own father. Suddenly I found myself in Ellie, misunderstood, lost, alone and scared, fighting to stay alive and trying my best to find a solution to all of my problems, hoping that will make me see life a little bit more different. That has been me ever since I lost him, when I was 13, scared and alone, but a fighter.
The whole world would disappear once Joel and Ellie, this fantastic duo played by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, would appear on the screen. Their dynamic and chemistry was so palpable, I sometimes forgot I was watching a show. I cried, laughed, felt afraid and found closure at the same time they did, and, in a very weird way, felt so much closer to my dad, because Joel reminded me so much of him. With his tough exterior but emphatic and soft interior, Joel and Ellie transported me right back to when I was a kid and would watch the world with eyes filled with wonder, while my father would hold my hand and show me just how easy it was to do everything when someone that loves you is there.
This is what The Last of Us signifies to me, and whilst I know the second season is about to bring the world crashing down once again, I don`t mind it, not even one bit, because the first season gave me the closure I was looking for in the last 18 years. It may be weird, because, after all, this show is about how a fungus ended the world as we know it, but I know that if the world would have ended while I was a kid, me and my dad would have pulled through no matter the situation, because he was the Joel to my Ellie and I was, and forever will be, his baby girl.

TLOU episode 4 spoilers
L O V E THE JOKEBOOK!!!!! LOVE!!!
I love the homage to the old Americana that the game was based on. Theme parks, Love’s signs for gas and food on the interstates, the trains.
“Slow down”
“This is slow.”
AND JOEL FINISHING HER JOKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME
The watch being a focal point when he’s talking to Ellie in the forest…yeah
Lowkey kinda sad they took the burnt shit line from Dina
It legit feels so weird that they aren’t in Pittsburgh, I took it for granted that they would be and was stunned when they weren’t.
Also sad there was no bus crash
I-
Bryan screaming for his mom. Okay. Oof.
Honestly really into a woman leading this group. I also like how they’re giving them more of an identity. Neil talked about that at the end of the ep and it struck me as a really good choice.
What in the actual fuck was that pit thing? Maybe a bloater pit??
They’re taking these characters in a very different direction than I’m used to. I like it a lot, but I know game Joel would never apologize to Ellie like that
I have an idea that the person Ellie hurt might be Riley as she was turning. I will have to be committed to a psychiatric hospital if that is the case.
THE SCENE AFTER HER JOKE IS INSANE. I AM SCREAMING I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
“That is so goddamn stupid.”
“You laughed motherfucker.”
“I didn’t laugh.”
“Yes you did.”
“Jesus, I’m losing it.”
“You’re losing it big time.”
And them just dissolving into laughter? There have been several times where I’ve thought “there’s no game Joel or HBO Joel, that’s just Joel.” And that moment between the two of them? That was just Ellie and Joel, hands down my favorite scene so far.
HENRY AND SAM HENRY AND SAM HENRY AND SAM
I just…I feel like I’m getting a Joel and Ellie that are just as nuanced as Joel and Ellie in the games, but differently nuanced. I remember thinking, when Neil and Craig had said that they told Pedro and Bella not to play the games that I thought it was weird. Like how are you going to understand the source material? But now, it makes perfect sense. Because Joel is softer towards Ellie, in a way that I’m sure game Joel wouldn’t have been. And Ellie is a little less soft herself, she thinks she’s tougher than she is.
They’ve done such a good job with everything so far, which is how I know next week, with Henry and Sam, is going to be nothing short of gutting.

all this time
omg so i have not written in forever but then the bestie @goldensonlyangel did a writing challenge (CONGRATS ON 800!!!!!!!!!) and i got inspired so here we are :) I know it's not super long but i like how it turned out!!!
as always, if you don't like the dress i linked, just imagine something else! that's just the visual I had in mind :)
warnings: none
word count: 1.8k
"Macy, I don't have anything to wear," you sighed, holding the phone between your ear and shoulder as you poured a bowl of cereal. "You can borrow one of mine! Or i will literally buy you one. I'll do whatever it takes, you have to come!" "Why?" You whined. "I always feel so awkward. You know I love you, but everyone couples off and it's just weird." "But Harry's going to be there," she crooned, and you had never been more grateful that she couldn't see your face. Your face that was currently flaming hot at just the mention of him.
"I don't care," you lied. "He clearly doesn't like me, so I don't even want to try anymore." "You're wrong," she insisted. "We can all tell he has the biggest crush on you." "I don't think so," you said, even though your heart was fluttering at the idea. "Okay, I'll come. But you have to go shopping with me." "Of course!" She exclaimed. "Can we go right now?" "Give me an hour, and then I'll come pick you up."
-----
"How about this?" Macy asked, holding up the shortest dress you had ever seen. "That's basically just a shirt," you rolled your eyes. "Harry would love it," she grinned. "Harry won't care, because he doesn't like me," you said, trying to keep your voice level. You told yourself a long time ago that there was no point in getting your hopes up about him. You could never have him, so why hurt your own feelings? She shook her head, but seemed to get the hint that she should drop it for now. She pulled another dress off the rack, this time one that was much more your style. Your eyes lit up at her selection. "I like that one," you nodded. "I think it would look really good."
-----
"You look amazing!" She beamed, pulling you out of the changing room to stand in front of the full length mirrors. You couldn't help the smile that grew on your lips as you examined yourself in the mirror. "I do," you agreed. "Harry- I mean, everyone's going to love it," she said, blushing slightly at her slip up. You had to give her credit: she didn't give up easily.
-----
"You're here!!!" Macy screamed, rushing to the door and pulling you into a hug. "Of course I'm here!" you said, trying to match her energy. It wasn't an easy task; she had clearly had quite a few drinks tonight. She pulled away, holding you at arm's length to inspect your dress. "And you look amazing," she grinned. "Who helped you pick out that dress???" You smiled, shaking your head lightly. "I need a drink," you said, pulling back a bit more. "Of course!" she chirped. "Everything's set up in the kitchen. If you need anything else just find me!" Then she was off, pushing through the small crowd of people and right into the middle of the living room turned dance floor. You made your way to the kitchen, deciding you were much too sober to join her. You pushed open the door, hoping you would maybe see Bella, or Charlie, or any of the other girls you hadn't had the chance to catch up with lately. Instead, you ran directly into a broad chest belonging to none other than Harry, the man you'd had an unrequited crush on for years. "Oh- I'm so sorry!" you rushed out, grasping at the front of his shirt to steady yourself. He gasped slightly, reflexively gripping onto your arms to keep you from toppling over. "You alright?" he asked with a small smile. "I'm fine," you said, keeping your eyes on his chest as your face heated up to an almost painful degree. "Sure?" He asked one more time, ducking his head to meet your eyes. "I'm good," you said with a nervous laugh. "You can, um-" you glanced down to where his hands were still on your arms. "Oh!" He exclaimed, eyes going wide as he realized he was still holding onto you. "Sorry," he said, a faint blush tingeing his cheeks as he stepped back. "No, it's okay," you said quickly, not wanting him to feel bad. "I'm just- I'm gonna get a drink." He laughed, running a ringed hand through his hair. "Good idea. I think I need one too." He moved to stand next to you as you browsed the large selection of alcohol on Macy's table. "I think she might have a problem," you joked. "We might need to stage an intervention," he nodded very seriously before his face broke into a smile. "But," you said, reaching for a bottle of tequila, "She keeps us stocked for parties, so I can't bring myself to care too much." "Agreed," he grinned, reaching for the vodka. There were a few moments of silence as the two of you poured your drinks, and then Harry spoke again. "You look lovely tonight." His voice was soft, and he sounded almost nervous. "Thank you," you smiled. "I'll be honest, I didn't really want to come. Macy said I had to." "For once, I'm glad she's so pushy," he laughed lightly. "If she wasn't, I wouldn't have gotten to see you." Your heart sped up at his words, and it took you a second to fully process what he had just said. "I'm glad too," you said softly. "Why, um..." He cleared his throat before speaking again. "Why didn't you want to come?" "It's always just a little weird, you know?" you said, keeping your eyes on the drink in your hand. "Everyone pairs off by the end of the night and I kind of feel like a... seventeenth wheel." "I know what you mean," he nodded. "Like, I'm happy all our friends have found love, or whatever, but I also hate them juuuust a little bit." He pinched his fingers close together, squinting at you through the tiny gap. "Just this much." "Well, I'm glad it's only that much," you laughed. "But wait, since when are you not part of a couple? I thought you were with Ellie?" "No, we were never really together," he said, looking down at his drink as you had earlier. "I mean, I liked her, but apparently she didn't feel the same. She went off with Paul." "Oh," you said quietly, not sure how to respond to that. "Paul. What a skank." "Such a skank," he agreed, breaking into a laugh again. The warm feeling in your chest was probably partly from the alcohol, but you knew it was mostly Harry. Seeing him so happy, being the one who made him laugh... there was no better feeling. The two of you lapsed into a comfortable silence again,
sipping on your drinks every so often. By the time you finished, the music from the other room had quieted considerably. It was now a slow song, and you had no doubt that when you left the safety of the kitchen, you would find couples wrapped up in each other, too in love to care about anyone else. Just the idea of it was enough to kill your slight buzz, and you sighed involuntarily. Harry didn't appear to notice. He seemed to be deep in his own head, thinking about something. Before you got the courage to ask him what was on his mind, he stood up straighter and cleared his throat. "Y/N... can I have this dance?" He held out one hand to you, the other sweeping behind his back in a formal gesture. You giggled at his attempt to act prim and proper, when you both knew that was the furthest thing from his real personality. "I would be delighted," you said, copying his tone as you put your hand in his. He led you out of the kitchen and onto the makeshift dance floor. Just as you had imagined, most of your friends were with their significant others, swaying slowly to the soft music. Harry pulled you close, resting his free hand on your waist, his fingertips brushing the skin of your back. You shivered at the feeling, reaching your other hand up to rest on his shoulder. "You know... I had a dream about you last night," he said, continuing to sway the two of you in a slow circle. "Oh yeah? What about?" He hesitated for a minute, looking into your eyes. "It was just like this," he said quietly. "Only better." "How was it better?" Your voice was quiet, almost a whisper. "Because you were mine," he breathed. "I finally got my head out of my ass and asked you to be mine." You could barely breathe at this point. Your heart was pounding out of your chest, and you were sure harry could feel it from where his hand rested on your side. He didn't say anything though, he just keep his eyes on yours. "You want... you want me to be yours?" You asked, voice shaking slightly. "Would you?" He seemed just as nervous as you were. "I- yeah," you nodded, still staring at him. "I would." He breathed a sigh of relief. "I really like you," he admitted. "I have for a long time." "You have?" you asked in disbelief. "I've liked you for a long time." "Really?" He seemed just as surprised as you were. "We're really stupid, aren't we?" You laughed, dropping your head against his chest as you nodded. "We are." You felt him inhale deeply, and then his fingers were brushing your jaw, tilting your face back up to look at him. "Can I kiss you?" he asked softly, gaze flitting down to your lips before he met your eyes again. "Yes, you can," you said breathlessly. "Please?" He smiled, leaning closer and pressing his lips against your cheek. You nearly melted at the contact, brain short circuiting at the realization that Harry, the man you had loved for so long, felt the same way about you, and was standing here in your arms, about to kiss you. His lips lingered against your skin for a few seconds before he pulled away slightly. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do this," he sighed, giving you no more time to think about it before his lips were on yours. Your eyes slipped closed as his hand moved to your back, pulling you closer to him. He was gentle, his lips moving softly against yours as you pressed your fingers into his shoulder. He pulled back after a few seconds, resting his forehead against yours with a breathless laugh. "Can't believe i waited so long to do that," he sighed. "Neither can I," you said softly, turning your head slightly to kiss his cheek. "I'm glad you finally went for it." "Me too."

"Tom, what did you mean you had something to tell me?"
"El's, I'll tell you later this is your party! I don't want to steal your limelight!" he gives me a smug look and taps his nose.
"Tell me!" I protest.
"Fine, but keep it to yourself. Like I said, this is your day"
He holds out his left hand I look down and scream "OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!" the whole room turns to look at me.
"El's!!"
I pull him on for a hug "I'm so happy for you guys! I need details!"
He laughs, "Why don't you and Adam come back to the flat after this and I'll fill you in!"
"OK, also congratulations!" I'm beaming for him.
~*~*~*~
Later, at the flat "Congratulations to the both!" Adam reaches his glass.
"So, who purposed to whom? Justin, please tell me it was Tom!" I laugh.
"No, actually it was me. You know what he's like with all that gushy stuff Ellie"
"Oi! I can be romantic when I want to be!" Me and Justin laugh.
"So, how did you ask him?"
"Well, It was nowhere near like what you did for Ellie, but I took him to the restaurant where we had our first date, then got down on one knee" I start to get a bit emotional Adams arms come around me.
"Stupid hormones!" I brush away my tears.
Adam and Justin are talking about football, I leave them to it and grab a glass of water. "So, do you think you'd want to be my best woman?" Tom ask.
The biggest smile appears on my face "I'd be offended if you asked anyone else!"
He laughs, "El's there's something else I need to tell you," He looks worried.
"What's wrong?"
"That spat me and Justin had, it was...it was over something I done, something that happened 2 years ago now"
"What is it?"
"Justin thinks you have a right to know, to be honest with you and I think he's right. Jake, I...."
I cut him off, "Tom..."
"Just let me finish! After your Mum and I found out about your drinking I did something stupid in fact, more than stupid I..."
"Tom, I know exactly what you did"
He looks confused "El's?"
"Can we go for a walk?" I ask not wanting Justin to hear.
"Yeah," he takes the last of the milk out the fridge and pours it down the drain.
"Justin, El's wants a tea, but we are out of milk we're just going to pop to the shop"
"Oh, OK" he calls over his shoulder.
We make our way out the flat, it's dark now the street is quiet "El's, how did you know?"
I take a deep breath as we are walking "I got a call from the hospital saying Jake had been attacked, and he was in a bad way. The idiot still had me under his emergency contact but even after everything that happened, a part of me needed to know he was OK, so I went to see him. When I got there he had just come round, so they let me in, he told me what happened and how it was you that put him there. He was gloating telling me how he was going to tell the police you attacked him and how you would go to prison..."
"But he didn't?" he looks even more confused now.
"No, he didn't...."
"But why?!" his tone is demanding.
"Me and you have this sibling kinda bond right. If one of us gets knocked down the other starts throwing punches..."
"El's, what did you do?"
"So, do you remember that armed robber at that jewelers in the city centre nearly 3 years ago?"
"Yeah, of course it was all over the news. They still haven't caught the guys that done it"
"For my birthday that year Jake had got me this bracelet. A couple of months later I was at the hospital with Dad just reading the paper to him. They had printed pictures of everything that was stolen. As soon as I saw it, I felt sick there in this newspaper was a picture of this bracelet he had got me for my birthday. I never confronted him about it because of Dad, I need to focus all my energy on him. So, at the hospital that day when he told me he was going to tell the police who attacked him, I told him if you were to go down for this, I would make sure he went down for a lot longer for armed robbery as I knew exactly where the bracelet had come from and I still had it"
"El's, Fuck! You know if you are ever caught with it you would go down to right"
"That's the thing I don't have it, not anymore. I told Mum everything she got rid of it!"
"How?!"
"You know those new luxury apartments in the city centre 2 streets away from Mums club?"
"Yeah?"
"Let's just say the foundations of that building are worth a lot of money"
"Does Adam know?"
"He does. I told him last year when he asks for us to move in together"
"El's, he could lose everything if it ever gets out!"
"I said that to him that before I told him about it. He didn't care he just didn't want secrets between us but he's convinced it won't come out. Well, at least not in our lifetime"
"El's why didn't you tell me?"
I laugh, "The same reason you didn't tell me. I was protecting you, the less people that knew the better”
"I guess we're both as bad as each other"
"I guess! Come on we better get this milk! Are you going to tell Justin?"
"To be honest with you I don't know, El's"
~*~*~*~
2 Weeks later, Adam and I are driving up to Edinburgh to stay with them for a few days. Natalia Kills - Problem is playing on the radio "What do think of the new car?"
I huff and roll my eyes, "It's nice I suppose, but it's not Bella!"
He takes my hand in his, "It's red like Bella, but more child friendly"
"I guess!" I say with a huff.
"Why don't we name it?"
I laugh, "What?"
"Why don't we give her a name? Maybe your fall in love with her if we name her!" he kisses my hand.
"I'm trying to keep to my eyes on the road"
"I'm sure your Mum will look after Bella. Plus, don't you like being up high?"
"OK, I like it! The gadgets make it worth giving up Bella"
I can see him smirking at the corner of my eye, "So, what are we calling her?"
"Rose?...God, Adam, I need a wee!"
"Let me have a look on the sat nav for the next service station" he fiddles with the car sat nav "There isn't one for 7 miles"
"Oh, I don't think I can wait that long" Charlie is using my bladder as a football.
"Pull over on the hard shoulder," I look at him to see if he's joking.
"You want me to wee on the side of the motorway?"
"Ellie, it will be fine. I'll open the back door and the passengers door and you can wee between them" I pull over on the hard shoulder "I'll get out, open the back door and you jump over to the passengers side"
I crawl over "I just realize we have nothing to wipe with"
Adam thinks for a second "You do what you need to and I'm going to look in the boot for something" he heads to the back of the car.
I squat down a little and pull down my jeans and underwear "Have you gone yet?"
"Nope! What if a lorry drives pass and sees me?!"
I hear him chuckle "I'm sure they're aren't looking. Ellie, I got a couple of pairs of new socks here. You can use a pair then I'll chuck them"
"You want me to used socks to wipe? Good job I don't need a poo! You might lose a t-shirt!" I laugh.
I hear him howl with laughter "They're new ones"
"OK pass me them" He wanders over and hands me the socks.
He takes over from driving and it's not long before we pull up to Nina and Al's drive. Nina runs over to the car as we get out "Ellie!!!" She wraps me up tight.
"Hi, Nina! I....I can't breath" I wave to Al who's coming down the path.
"Hi Mum! Your son is right here!" Adam says sarcastically.
"Hi Adam, You and Dad get the bags while I'll make Ellie a tea" as we walk inside I look over my shoulder to Adam and stick my tongue out at him he smirks and shook his head.
~*~*~*~
They have booked a table at a pub 20 minutes drive away. We are less than a few minutes away "So, new car? Do you like it?" Al asks.
"Yeah, Adam brought it for me, my old one only had lap belts in the front and none in the back"
"I like the screen you can see behind you when you reserve! Al can we get one?"
He runs his hands down his face "We just got a new car Nina!"
She huffs "A year ago!"
I laugh, "Looks like we are here!" (Saved by the bell there, Al!)
Adam and I head to the bar for drinks  "Adam, how do you say can I have a 2 pints of Peroni and 2 orange juices please in Scots Gaelic?"
"So repeat after me A bheil thu nad fhìor Albannach fon fhèileadh sin?"
"A bheil thu nad fhìor Albannach fon fhèileadh sin?"
The barman comes over to us "A bheil thu nad fhìor Albannach fon fhèileadh sin?" he smiles then goes to lift his kilt.
"Whoa!!!! What are you doing?!" I screech.
Adam cracks and starts laughing "Adam, What did you make me say?"
"Ellie, you said are you a real scotsman under that kilt? Sorry she's sassenach" he apologies to the Barman.
I shove him, the barman laugh "Let me teach you a very English word! You are a twat!"
He pulls me towards him "I'm only messing beautiful! Can we get 2 pints of Peroni and 2 orange juices please" he asks.
"Do you forgive me!"
"No! And you can bring the drinks over by yourself!" I huff and head back to the table.
A couple of minutes later he comes over with a tray "And for my beautiful wife, I'm sorry!" He puts down 2 pint glasses full of ice on the table.
I break into a smile "Am I forgiven now?"
I roll my eyes at him "Fine, but you're still a twat!"
He lifts my chin and smirks before placing a soft kiss against my lips "But I'm your twat!"
"I'm going to get you back by the way!"
He chuckles "Bring it on, beautiful"
~*~*~*~
The next day I know exactly how to get my revenge. Adam wanders into the bedroom after a shower. I'm purposely standing in front of the mirror in some lacy underwear.
"Fuck!" I hear him mutter under his breath as his footsteps get closer. Soon he's behind me admiring my reflection, his chest is pressed against my back, I can feel his hard shaft against the curve of my arse.
"You look stunning! You amaze me! How you can make being pregnant look so sexy!" His hand comes round to cup my breast, as his lips begin to feather along my neck. His other hand trails over my bump and is just about to slip into my underwear.
I pull away and move to where our suitcases are "I better get dressed. I need to meet your mum downstairs in 5 minutes"
"What? I thought.."
I smirk "You also thought I was a good idea to prank me yesterday. Well, Adam revenge is a dish best served..." I look down at him hard member "Hard!" I wink as I'm getting dressed "And you have the whole day to think about me wearing this under my clothes. While your mum and I are heading out to get our nails done. Bye"
I make my way to to the door "Oh and Adam! You might want to do something about that! Maybe a cold shower!" I wink as I leave him in our room.

Roadtrip Ella Alina Series
Day 1 of Amanda Rollins Week: ROADTRIP
Characters: Amanda Rollins, Olivia Benson, Fin Tutuola, John Munch, Ella Alina (Original Character)
Relationships: Olivia Benson x Original Character (Mother and Daughter)
Warnings: Mention of Olivia’s kidnapping but nothing super detailed.
Preview: Olivia and Ella are taking a week vacation to Michigan for a little time off. Olivia says that Ella can invite anyone she wants. Ella decides she wants to ask Auntie ‘Manda.
“Auntie Manda!” Ella yelled as she burst through the doors of the precinct rushing towards Rollins desk.
“Ella Bella,” Amanda smiled grabbing her into a hug, “How did the last day of sophomore year treat you?”
“Boring, my AP classes finished over a month ago so we have been watching movies for weeks. All my normal kid classes were super easy and a waste of my time,” Ella sighed sitting on the side of Amanda’s desk.
“Not everyone can be as smart as you kid genius,” Fin said as he leaned back in his chair.
El smirked at this comment as Munch walked over to her, “You worked on your writing like I told you to while watching movies right?”
“Of course Uncle John! I have almost eighty pages of my story done.”
“Good girl,” Munch said tossiling Ella’s hair, “Fin, Warner called and said we need to come to her to get the test results.”
Fin nodded and grabbed his jacket. Ella waved goodbye and then turned her attention back to Rollins who was typing away at her computer, “Hey Auntie?”
“What’s up dollface?” She responded looking up at Ella.
“Momma is taking me to Michigan on Sunday for vacation. She said I could bring someone along with us… can you come?” Ella asked as she tapped her fingers on her knee nervously.
“I mean, I got some vacation time saved up. You sure you want an old broad like me tagging along with you?” Amanda winked.
“Of course! You really mean that you will come?” Ella said excitedly.
“I gotta ask Cap for the time off and check with your Mom but I would love to go.”
“I’ll go talk to PawPaw now!” Ella exclaimed and then rushed off to Cragen’s office leaving Amanda shaking her head.
As Ella entered Cragen’s office Olivia walked back into the office with a large brown bag in her hand. She looked around the precinct panic coming when she didn’t see Ella.
“She is talking to Cragen right now,” Amanda commented rising from her desk, “She is determined to have him give me time off to go on vacation with y’all.”
“So she did ask you? Good. She was nervous about it.”
“Are you sure this is okay Liv? I don’t want to interrupt mother and daughter time.” Amanda said shoving her hands in her pockets desperately hoping that Liv wouldn’t turn her down.
“Ella and I would love to have you,” Liv smiled and then laughed as Ella walked out of Cragen’s office with a huge smirk on her face, “Looks like she got Cragen to say yes to our vacation.”
“You know PawPaw can’t say no to me,” Ella winked.
Amanda laughed and then went to Cragen’s office to confirm. Olivia and Ella ate lunch at her desk as Ella went through her last day of school. Once they were done Ella pulled out her laptop and began working on her novel as Olivia finished her paperwork. Amanda would glance over at them occasionally a large smile coming to her face. She was going on vacation with her favorite fifteen years old and the woman that she had the biggest crush on. This was going to be the longest week of her life waiting to leave.
Ella spent the rest of the week reading and writing in different places of the precinct. After the kidnapping Olivia kept Ella close refusing to leave her at the apartment alone. Ella didn’t mind the precinct had always been her first true home. She made sure to stay out of everyone’s way when they were busy often sneaking up to the roof to get some fresh air. When she did she would text Olivia every thirty minutes confirming she was safe somewhere in the precinct. Olivia knew that she was on the roof but didn’t have the heart to tell her to leave her favorite space. Occasionally she would send Amanda to it to make sure that Ella hadn’t fallen off.
Ella had been calm all week till it came to Saturday night. She was rushing back and forth making sure she packed everything she needed. Olivia merely sat on the edge of her bed and laughed as Ella showed her every single outfit she planned to bring. Ella even packed Olivia’s bag refusing to let Olivia help her at all. Liv didn’t complain much knowing her mind more concerned with the vacation ahead of them. She knew that she needed the time off and away from the rush of work. Heck, she just needed to be away from the apartment in general. She still jumped at every single noise and woke up in the middle of the night screaming. Soon Ella had taken to sleeping next to Olivia in her bed claiming that she was the one having nightmares but Liv knew that Ella was doing it to help calm her own panic. It had been working so far but she could tell that Ella had begun to rarely sleep making sure that Olivia could sleep through the night. She could only hope that this vacation gave them both some relief.
Early the next morning Ella was rushing up the stair to Amanda’s apartment two at a time. Olivia was downstairs still nursing her coffee Amanda’s in the cup holder next to her. Amanda opened the door on Ella’s first knock having already been up for two hours. She had repacked at least a dozen times questioning everything that she had decided to pick. Then once she was sure her luggage was fine she had paced the apartment looking for any last-minute excuse to get out of going. It was not so much that she didn’t want to go it was more the drive there she was dreading. She and Ella were very bonded but she still felt like Liv was keeping her at arm’s length. She hoped Ella would fill most of the silence.
Ella quickly grabbed Amanda’s suitcase and pulled Amanda out the door. Amanda barely had time to close the door behind her before she was being tugged down the stairs. Ella threw her suitcase in the trunk next to the others and then clambered into the back seat. Amanda plopped down in the front seat and was immediately greeted by Olivia handing her a cup of coffee.
“Figured you could use this just as much as I did. I hope I got your order right.”
Amanda smiled, “Thanks Liv. Just what I needed.”
For the first couple hours, Ella talked excitedly about all of the things that she planned to do. Olivia had booked a cabin on a small island in the upper peninsula of Michigan called Sugar Island. Ella was most excited about the fact that the only way to reach the island was a five-minute ferry ride. She had never been on a ferry in a car before. She talked about all the places where she could read the books Munch had given her and the swimming she could do. Olivia had always been a city girl and knew nothing about all of the outdoor stuff that her daughter wanted to do but Amanda was more than willing to fill in all the gaps for which Olivia was grateful for. They talked about hikes they would take and waterfalls they could see. After a lengthy discussion, Olivia promised to join Amanda and Ella in jumping off one of the waterfalls that Ella had found nearby. Only after Ella promised that she could prove that she wouldn’t die in the process leaving Olivia without her Ellie Bean.
Shortly after that matter had been settled the car filled with small snores as Ella fell asleep laying on the back seat. Amanda turned around pulling a blanket up around her making sure that she wouldn’t get cold with the air that rolled from Olivia’s car.
Olivia smiled watching Amanda and decided to break the silence, “Thanks for coming Manda.”
Amanda sat shocked for a moment. Only Ella really called her Manda Olivia stuck towards calling her Rollins when she needed something. When she had regained her bearings she replied, “Of course Liv. Thank y’all for having me.”
“I know that it means a lot to Ella,” Olivia said and Amanda could feel her heart sink, “And me. I never really did thank you for everything that you did for her while I was..” Amanda knew she couldn’t finish the sentence as Olivia’s hands gripped the steering wheel harder, “It was really not a bother Liv.” “You took her into your home and made sure she stayed safe. You kept her in school and you protected her,” Olivia said tears silently rolling down her face, “All I kept thinking about while I was there was if my daughter was going to be okay. That was all that mattered to me and you made sure that happened. I will never forget that.”
Amanda gently placed her hand on Olivia’s thigh to calm her down, “I would do anything for you and Ella. Anything.”
Olivia smiled and placed her hand on top of Amanda’s, “And we would do the same for you.”
Amanda expected Olivia’s hand to pull away but instead, Olivia wrapped her fingers protectively around her. Amanda had to focus all her attention on keeping her breath steady as Olivia continued to hum along to the radio. In the back seat, Ella let a huge grin cross her face before she closed her eyes and let sleep overtake her again.

Wildflowers- Cordonian Ruby chapter 9
Pairing: Ruby Rys x Beau Larkin; Ellie Larkin (Nana); Olivia Nevrakis
Word count: 1,372
Warnings: mention of dead parents, mention of assassins
Summary: Ruby and Beau get married
A/N: This chapter took it out of me, I seriously need to stop setting myself up to write weddings ‘cause writing them is hell. (My muse thinks them up and then digs her heels in the sand as we try to write it.) Usually I’m done a day or two early and get a head start on next weeks chapter, this week that did not happen so I may have to take a week or two hiatus for me and my muse to bounce back and get back on track.
A/N2: A major thanks @sirbeepsalot for all your graping, prereading, editing, and pushing me. This would not be done without you and some crazy surge of inspiration. I love you boo! Thank you to my snippet reader @loveellamae who screamed appropriately.
Series warnings: character death, blood, surgical procedures done by non medical personnel, may go NSFW in the future. May contain gun violence, knife violence, threats, not sure how dark this will go. By requesting to be tagged you acknowledge you are at least 18 years of age.
Let me know if you want to be added or removed from the taglist.
Disclaimer: I own Ruby, Galen, Lovett, and Beau, I’m borrowing Bastien and Olivia from PB.
Tumblr media
Olivia gazed at Ruby, a soft smile on her lips as she took in the young woman before her. Ruby was a vision in the simple white wedding dress and braided bun with delicate blue wildflowers tucked between the twists. Even the cowboy boots that had made Olivia roll her eyes looked absolutely perfect on the young bride.
It was hard to believe that this was the same child that Bastien had rescued twenty-one years prior. Back then she had thought herself weak for fleeing the country, now she knew she had made the correct choice for everyone.
“You look stunning Ruby, as beautiful as your mother on her wedding day.”
“Thanks Mama,” Ruby gave a soft smile, “was she as nervous when she married my father?”
“She didn’t have time to feel nervous, there had been a few attacks, there was one, well two on the day your parents married.
The first one was when we were getting dressed, your mother kicked ass, got dressed and went and married your father. Then in the middle of the reception your mother and I were abducted, we managed to free ourselves from our bonds, but that wasn’t the end of our fight.
Your father came to rescue your mother and together they were a force like no other. They fought back to back and won, then we all went back to the reception.
You have the same fire in you that both your parents had, I can see it in you during every tournament.
You will be victorious in taking down Bradshaw, you and Beau have the same connection your parents had. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that together you shall prevail.”
Ruby nodded, she’d long ago gotten used to her mama knowing exactly what was bothering her without asking. While she was still concerned about the fight to come she knew better than to argue with the woman who raised her.
“Now that we have that out of the way I have a gift for you. I wish I could give you one of your mother’s pieces of jewelry but we couldn’t risk returning to the palace to retrieve them. We didn’t know how long we would have to escape before Bradshaw started to look for you.” Olivia looked at the small box in her hands, “while it’s not your mother’s I did have her favorite earrings replicated for you.” She lifted the lid of the box revealing four small round rubies clustered around a tiny pearl. “Your mother’s were gold and sapphires, I thought these would suit you better. Your father gifted your mother many pearl pieces, so it felt more fitting than gold.”
Ruby looked at the earrings in awe, tears pricking at her eyes, “they’re beautiful Mama, thank you.”
- - -
Ruby gave her appearance one final cursory glance at the sound of a soft knock at the door, “come in.”
“Oh Ruby,” Ellie said with a gentle smile. “You look absolutely beautiful. Beau won’t be able to take his eyes off of you.”
“Thanks Nana,” Ruby blushed at the older woman’s words. “for everything — hosting, allowing us to use your space.”
“Don’t even mention it dear.”
Ruby shook her head; Nana would always welcome anyone into her home and family. What if I fail, never see them again? I’m taking Beau away from them … She turned away as tears welled in her eyes.
“What’s got you down today?”
Ruby quickly wiped at her eyes, thankful for the waterproof mascara. “I just don’t want to fail. I’m taking Beau away and —”
“Hush now, none of that.” Ellie soothed, hands clasping Ruby’s as she pulled her to sit by her side. “First, you are doing no such thing, I knew Beau would be the first to marry since the day he brought you here.
The way he looked at you, and you looked at him, I knew he’d follow you to the ends of the earth.
Second, you won’t fail,” Ellie raised her hand as Ruby went to speak, “you might not succeed in regaining your country, but that doesn’t mean you failed.”
She brushed at her lavender skirt, “take it from an old woman, failing is not even trying, not losing when you’ve done everything in your power to overcome obstacles.
Crown or no crown, your birth parents will be proud of you.”
Ruby gave a grateful smile, “I needed to hear that.”
“I’m sure your mother has already told you the same.”
“She has,” Ruby nodded, “I don’t know it just seems different hearing it from someone else.”
“Oh yes, it’s harder to believe a parent.” Ellie patted her hand. “Now, I think it’s about time for your father to walk you down to my Beau.”
- - -
From the second Bastien walked Ruby down the grassy aisle to Beau time went lightning fast.
As she tried to recall the ceremony she was met with flashes of colorful wildflowers lining the aisle, and tied to the wooden arch. Beau’s vows to her were the only part of the ceremony she could remember; his heartfelt words touching her deeply.
Ruby, I never thought I would meet the love of my life when I was only seventeen. You have always surprised me and kept me on my toes from the moment we met.
You are the perfect mix of sweetness and knock you on your ass. There isn’t one thing about you that I would ever want to change.
You are strong and fierce and love with your whole heart. Anyone who is loved by you knows just how special that is.
You are selfless and kind and take every pain those close to you feel as your own without a second thought. You are amazing and you take my breath away every day.
Who knows exactly what our future will look like, but I know that together we can conquer any adversary we may face.
If there had been any remaining doubt in her mind that Beau felt forced to leave behind the life he knew, his words pushed all uncertainty away.
- - -
Ruby smiled as she finally scanned over the barn turned reception space. She could see small details that showed how hard Mama Jo had worked to blend her and Beau into the wedding in only a month's time. The quickness of the wedding felt natural, after five years together there was no reason to have a long engagement. Mama Jo really does know best.
Twinkle lights in mason jars hung from the rafters, small centerpieces of wildflowers adorned each table, the most surprising touch was the pressed wildflowers on each name card, only her mother and father knew she saved each and every flower Beau gave her in that exact way. She wasn’t usually one to be so sentimental but she couldn’t bear to watch the flowers he brought her wither and wilt, so she took to preserving each one.
She quickly looked away before tears could sting at her eyes. Today was a celebration, the last time she and Beau would be able to see most of their friends and family for the foreseeable future.
She let out a laugh as she spotted Beau dancing like a fool with her younger brothers to a pop song she couldn’t quite place. While Beau and Lovett danced like nobody was watching she noticed that Galen was a little more reserved as always.
She quickly crossed the large barn to the dance ‘floor’, her boots thumping against the wooden floor with each step. “Come on Galen, let loose a little,” she grabbed his hand lifting over her head and giving herself a twirl, “it’s a party.”
“Only for you RuRu.”
Ruby stuck out her tongue, “you don’t get to call me that … but I’ll let it slide just this once.”
“Whatever you say Ru-by.”
Ruby shook her head, allowing herself to get lost in the music she was positive Lovett must have picked. Her sapphire eyes sparkled as she danced around with her brothers and husband.
She watched as her family, both old and new, the people she always had and those she just found enjoyed themselves. She couldn’t help but think, maybe everything would be okay.

Three weeks before Christmas...
"That's enough padding." Thomas grunted when Amanda stuffed another pillow in his waistband.
"I told you to eat more during Thanksgiving." She teased.
He shook his head at her humor. "Why am I chosen each year for this?"
"Because you remember what all the children ask for. We don't want another Christmas like when Matt played Santa." She laughed softly. "I've never seen such a panic when he couldn't recall what anyone wanted except Emerick.”
"Kathleen will realize it's me." He muttered while she helped him on with the red velvet coat.
"Not with your acting talent." She adjusted the wig and beard, smiling when he hugged her close.
He slipped on a pair of glasses and then the hat. He studied his reflection in the mirror. "Well?"
She kissed his cheek. "You look perfect." She smoothed his coat down in the back. "Remember to try and get more detail out of Kathleen. She has said she wants a new baby for Christmas a number of times. I'm not certain which doll she wants."
He nodded and opened the door. "After you, Mrs. Claus."
____________
Thomas tried not to cringe when the children screamed in excitement at his appearance. He searched through the mass for his own little girl and noticed she seemed uncertain as she stood toward the back of the group, looking up at him.
One of Addison and Matt's little girls, Ashley, grabbed his hand while bouncing up and down. "Santa! You came!"
His other hand was grabbed by the youngest crown prince, Ellis. "Did you get my letter? Emerick wrote it for me." His bright blue eyes clouded with worry. "He won't get my presents, will he?"
All the others, except for Kathleen, crowded around him, yelling out what they wanted for Christmas.
Holly clapped her hands and ordered the children to line up. "Each of you will have a turn to tell Santa what you want."
Brothers and sisters quickly got into line while some spats broke out, especially between the Nevarkis-Walker siblings of who should go first.
"I'm the oldest!" Jackson yelled.
"I'm a girl! Daddy said you are supposed to be a gentleman." Juliet countered.
Olivia grinned as they continued to debate who had the right to go first.
"You have to let her go first." Emerick interjected. "Dad said babies should go before us."
Ellis and Juliet gasped in outrage at the insult.
"I'm not a baby!" Juliet clinched his fists.
"Dad thinks I'm a baby!" Ellis had tears in his eyes as Liam rushed over to reassure him that he knew he really was a big boy.
While everyone else joined in on the argument between the royal family and Nevarkis-Walkers, Xavier Beaumont took his little sister's hand. "Come on Mia. We will go meet Santa while they fight."
She smiled happily and walked up there with him.
Kathleen, watching some her friends argue and others be put in line, remained at the back of the room. She leaned against Amanda's leg when she came up beside her.
"Aren't you excited to see Santa?" Amanda asked.
"I am." She wrapped her little arms around her mother's neck when she knelt down. "Do you think he will be happy to see me?"
"I know he will be very happy when you come up." Amanda assured her. "You have been perfect this year."
"I hope so." Kathleen whispered. "I hope I've been good enough for a new baby."
"I know you have." Amanda kissed her cheek. "Santa knows it too."
"Where's Daddy?" Kathleen looked around the room.
"He had to step out for a moment." Amanda explained. "He'll be here soon."
Kathleen held onto her mother's hand as she went to the spot Holly told her to stand in.
Thomas decided to speak in a British accent when Mia scrambled up on his knee and Xavier sat on the other. "What would you like for Christmas?"
Mia giggled while her father took pictures. Maxwell encouraged her to tell Santa what she wanted.
"Mia would like a puppy." Xavier whispered to Thomas. "I don't want one but she does. I want a turtle or a wombat. Please."
Thomas nodded solemnly. "I will see what I can do."
"Thank you." Mia finally managed to say as she hugged him. "Bye Santa!"
"Goodbye." He motioned for Ellis to come up. "Now Ellis what would you like for Christmas?"
"You know my name?" Ellis asked in awe.
"Er...yes." Thomas quickly improvised. "I know all about you."
"Wow." Ellis stared at him. "Then you must know what I want!"
"Santa is getting on in years." Thomas explained. "I need a reminder what you want for Christmas. The elves haven't been the best helpers in that department."
"I want a Star Wars Lego set and Captain America's shield that shoots rockets!" He went through a long list, ending with a new pony."
Thomas posed for a picture before continuing down the line. He glanced over at Kathleen and noticed she seemed to grow more reluctant each time she moved closer. Amanda stood with her, gently running her fingers through her daughter's soft brown curls.
"Go on, sweetheart." Amanda urged when Thomas motioned for Kathleen to come up.
"Will you go with me?" She lifted pleading eyes to her mother.
"Of course." Amanda walked up with her. "Santa and I are old friends."
"You are?" Kathleen's dark eyes widened. "Does Daddy know?"
Thomas snorted and coughed on his laughter. "Your father knows all about my friendship with your mother.”
Kathleen hid her face against Amanda's leg.
Thomas leaned down. "Won't you come talk to me Kathleen? I would like to know what you want most for Christmas. My elves are waiting to hear what it is so that they can create it just for you."
She smiled up at him. "They are?"
"We all know what a good little girl you have been. Whatever you want, Santa will try and bring you." He picked her up and set her on his lap, smiling at the happiness on her face.
Amanda silently urged Maxwell to take pictures of the two. He grinned as he zoomed in on Kathleen's face as she looked up at Thomas.
"Santa," she whispered. "I want a baby."
He grinned. "A new baby doll. What kind would you like?"
Kathleen shook her head. "No I want a real one."
Thomas stared at her. "I beg your pardon. You want a real baby?"
She nodded. "I want a baby brother or sister." She glanced at her mother. "I don't know how you will get it in Mommy's tummy, but do you think you can?"
Thomas looked at his wife and then back down at his daughter. He cleared his throat. "I, well...Kathleen, a new baby is something that can take a long time to happen."
"I know." She pointed at Ryan holding his newborn daughter. "Aunt Holly took a long time to have Harper." Her little brow furrowed in thought. "I would be happy too if it came after Christmas."
Thomas looked down at her hopeful face. He couldn't tell her no. "I will see what I can do."
"Oh thank you Santa!" Kathleen threw her arms around his neck. She hugged him tight. "Thank you!"
He returned her hug. "Merry Christmas, darling."
She looked up at him with a grin. "My daddy calls me that."
"Your father sounds like an intelligent man." He helped her off his lap. He stood up and waved goodbye to the children while telling them he would deliver the presents on time this year.
Amanda followed him out while Kathleen was distracted with Addison helping the children decorate gingerbread houses.
"Well, Mr. Hunt, this might be our most successful Christmas party yet. No crying toddlers in sight." She helped him out of the costume. "What did Kathleen say? Did she describe the type of doll she wants?"
"She was quite specific." Thomas hesistated. "She wants a real baby."
"A real one?" Amanda paused. "You don't mean--"
"She wants a baby brother or sister." He pulled his clothes back on. "She knows it could take some time but would be satisfied with the knowledge that one is on its way."
Amanda sat down in shock. "I can't believe it."
Thomas ran his fingers through his hair, trying to fix the mess the wig had made it.
"How did she take it when you told her she needed to ask for something we could actually have by Christmas?" She asked.
Thomas avoided eye contact.
"Thomas! You didn't--" Amanda's jaw dropped. "Oh no."
"I couldn't do it." He explained. "To only want that and after she has been so good--" he wrapped his arms around Amanda when she dropped her head in her hands.
"We can't tell her that we--" she sniffed. "After all the months of trying to have another, how can we explain that it might not be possible."
Thomas pressed a tender kiss to her forehead. "It will happen when and if it is supposed to." He thought back to the doctor's words a few months ago. There was no medical reason why they weren't pregnant yet. Both were healthy. Neither was under stress. Just no baby.
They were the only ones with one child. Those closest to them were either well past the usual two or on their way to three children.
It wasn't that they needed a lot of children, but with both being without family, they wanted Kathleen to at least have one sibling so as not to feel so alone in the world. Now knowing that it was her Christmas wish, the pain from failure hurt acutely.
"We better get out there before Kathleen wonders where we are." Amanda stood up and smoothed her sweater down.
"Amanda..." Thomas stopped her from opening the door. "I don't want you worrying about this."
She looked up at him and tried to find the humor in this for his sake. "I'm afraid I have to worry some. It's my tummy that Santa has to mess with."
_______________
A week before Christmas...
"Daddy! I don't have a gift for Mommy under the tree!" Kathleen pointed toward the brightly wrapped presents.
"I can put you name on one I bought for her." Thomas picked through the packages. "Which one--"
"But I wanted to pick something out for her." A slight pout formed on Kathleen's lips. "Can we go shopping?"
"You want me to take you shopping during the last week before Christmas?" His frown formed at the thought of the crowds.
"Please Daddy!" She hugged his legs.
He groaned during his capitulation. "Go upstairs and get your coat while I call Mommy."
She giggled when he told her she had better have him the best gift under that tree for doing this.
He tried calling Amanda and began to worry when it went directly to voicemail. He knew she had left early this morning to meet with the obstetrician again. He didn't know why the appointment was taking longer than usual or why she had suddenly had multiple within the past week. He left a quick message when he heard Kathleen coming back.
"Ready!" She said, pushing her unruly curls out of her eyes.
He smiled at her excitement. "Let's go."
_______________
"I like that one." Kathleen pointed at a necklace.
Thomas hesistated at the pendant that was clearly meant to represent a family. "It is pretty, but perhaps if we are going for something like that, we should find one with only three hearts."
"No, I think that is the one." She persisted. The attendant opened the case and held up the necklace with five gold hearts intertwined together. "Mommy will look so pretty wearing it."
Thomas reluctantly bought it. "Yes she will."
_______________
"Mommy!" Kathleen ran inside. "Cover your eyes."
Amanda dutifully did so. "They're covered."
Kathleen crept over to make certain there was no peeking.
Thomas walked past with the bag of of presents and hid them in his study. He nodded to Kathleen once the door was shut and she hugged Amanda.
"Hello!" Amanda said with a laugh. "Did you go shopping?"
"Yes, we did." Kathleen curled up in her lap. "I can't wait for Christmas. You're going to love your present."
Amanda hugged her close. "I know I will. You always pick the perfect gifts."
Thomas smiled softly at the two on the couch. "How was your appointment?"
Amanda shrugged and didn't quite meet his eyes. "Fine. It went as one would usually expect." She squeezed Kathleen in another hug. "Are you hungry?"
The little girl nodded.
"Good. Dinner is almost ready. I could use your help setting the table." Amanda smiled as Kathleen rushed into the kitchen.
Thomas grabbed Amanda's hand when she walked by and tugged her close. "Are you alright?" He whispered.
She nodded. "I am." She pressed a kiss to his lips. "I promise. There is no need to worry."
______________
Christmas Eve night...
Kathleen stretched out on her stomach in front of the fireplace. She had some paper, pencils, and crayons around her. She pushed her Santa hat out of her eyes while a serious expression formed.
Thomas and Amanda watched her from the couch, smiling at the somber look on her face.
"What are you working on, darling?" Thomas asked.
"A thank you picture to Santa." She explained.
"Shouldn't that come after Christmas?" Amanda asked.
"He won't be back until the next one." Kathleen pursed her lips as she studied her drawing. "I don't want him to wait that long."
"That is very thoughtful." Amanda told her.
She smiled up at her parents before continuing with her picture.
Thomas rested his head against Amanda's as they enjoyed the quiet moment. His arms held her close while he wondered if there would ever be any other little ones on the floor with Kathleen.
The clock chimed the hour, stirring the couple from their thoughts.
"Time for bed, sweetheart." Amanda told her. "Santa won't come if you're awake."
Kathleen drew one more heart by her name and folded it closed. She set it near the plate of milk and cookies. She then took both of her parents' hands and pulled them upstairs.
They smiled as she jumped into bed and snuggled under her blankets. Kathleen hugged her stuffed corgi close and wished them both a good night.
Kisses and hugs were exchanged followed by the lights being turned off. A Christmas night light glowed near her bed. Amanda tucked her blankets around her before leaving with wishes of sweet dreams.
The couple returned downstairs and settled once more to wait until Kathleen was asleep. Thomas pulled Amanda into her former position and pressed a kiss to her lips.
"Merry Christmas." He murmered against her mouth.
She smiled and captured his lips in another heated kiss. "Merry Christmas to you too."
He groaned softly when she left his arms to start setting everything out. "Shouldn't we wait to make certain she is asleep."
She looked over her shoulder at him. "I can't wait."
He lifted an eyebrow in question. "Did you find something Kathleen will love that you haven't shown me yet?"
"I did." She picked up the plate of cookies and offered him some. She then chose one and nibbled on it while pulling out a few sheets of paper from her purse. "I was able to find everything she asked for."
"Good. I was worried we--" He paused and swallowed the bite of cookie. "Everything?"
Amanda nodded, tears in her eyes. "I wanted to wait until at least midnight, but I can't. The doctor had good news for us. The best news!"
Thomas got up and took her into his arms. "What did he say?"
"In six months or possibly less we will meet our babies." Amanda watched his face closely.
"Six months or--babies! As in--" he lost all ability of speech as she nodded. She placed the ultrasounds in his hands.
"Twins." She whispered, still in awe. Her hands moved over her stomach. "This time next year, there will be five of us around the tree." She pressed a kiss to his lips when he remained speechless. "You sir, are a very effective Santa."

Always you- The feeling (3/?)
Tumblr media
Leo woke early, showered and got himself ready for the day. He had purchased a new street bike upon leaving for Italy, it had been delivered that morning and he couldn't wait to pick her up with it. His heart raced at the thought of her on the back, holding onto him tightly. It was an odd feeling to him, he never really viewed most women as anything more then someone to have a little fun with, but never settle down. With an extra spring in his step he walked to the next door down and knocked. Percy answered already dressed, laptop open at the table in his room.
"Working on vacation are we percy?" Leo grinned. "Some of us actually work Rhys." Percy sat pack down sipping his espresso. Leo flopped down in the seat across from him, not able to contain the shit eating grin spead across his face. Percy looked up, and chuckled "seeing miss Aria again are we?" He had never seen Leo so giddy over a girl, it was quite amusing. "Yes, taking her cliff jumping today, she doesn't know it yet." He broke off a piece of the muffin sitting in front of him. Percy arched his brow "cliff jumping huh?" "Yeah, she wanted an adventure. I'm going to give her an adventure." Percy about spit his espresso out trying to stifle his laugh "This poor girl has no idea how much of an adventure shes actually in for with you." Leo chuckled Standing up and clapsed Percy on the back. "I'll catch you later. Don't work to hard perc."
Leo pulled up to the front of her small hotel, Aria was already standing out front waiting for him. "Where did you get that?" She ran up, eyes wide. Leo grinned, "Just came this morning, I had it sent here. You like it?" He looked at her hopeful. She bit her bottom lip jesus with that lip again his thought screaming at him to take it in between his teeth, pulling ever so gently. "Yeah, its nice. Is that....Is that what we're taking today?" She looked a little nervous. "Yes. Have you ever been on one before?" He questioned . She shook her head no. A gleam of mischief flashed before his eyes.
"Do you trust me?" She looked at him unsure "Come on, hold me tight I'll take care of you." He held the helmet out to her. She hesitated, glancing down at the helmet, and then him. She took the helmet and climbed on the back. Leo kicked the bike to life and off they went. He could feel her arms wrapped tightly around his waist, her head pressed up against his back. A surge of warmth flood his body, it felt right. They flew through the Italian country side, the wind blowing against them, but the view was amazing.
Finally they pull up to a small coastal town, blue water for miles. "You ok?" He asked as she climbed off the bike. "Scared shitless at first but what a rush." She grinned. "Wow, where are we?" Her eyes went wide. "Grotto della poesia." He told her. A bit further up they seen a few people standing at the edge of a cliff and jump off. "Are they... Cliff jumping?" She started to walk forward curiously. "Yep, and that's what were doing too." He walked after. "We're what?" She squeaked. "Yep. You said you wanted adventure. This is an adventure. Now come on." he grabbed her hand taking her over to the grotto.
He led her down the man made steps carved into the side and on to the white sand beach. He took his shirt off, exposing his muscular chest and slipped down to his swim trunks. He watched as Arias eyes swept his body. A light red tinge spead across her cheeks she so damn cute when shes flustered he thought to himself. Aria followed suit revealing her beautiful curvy body in her sexy pilkadot bikini. She was thin, but thick in all the right place. He felt his member twitch in his shorts at the sight. "You ready?" He asked holding out his hand. "No, but something tells me you wont let up, so why not." She took his hand and they walked to the top of the grotto. After a few minutes it was their turn to jump.
"Will you hold my hand while I jump?" She turned to him, her eyes pelading. "Of course. Now on my three we jump." They walked to the ledge "One... two... three!" They lept off the side plummeting down to the blue shimmering water. They crashed into the water, Leo swam back to the surface quickly searching for Aria who popped up a few seconds later. She was laughing as she floated in the crystalclear water, it was like music to his ears. He had no idea what this feeling was, but he knew he wanted to hear more of her laugh. "That was amazing." She Swam over to him wrapping her arms around him. They laughed together for a minute before locking eyes, leo searched for any sign of doubt, when he found none he leaned in. Lips inches from each other before another jumper landed next to them, splashing them spoiling the moment.
They got out of the water, laying on the beach for a while. His eyes trained on her. Her long chestunt hair wet cascading the side if her neck and shoulder. The way the specks of water glistened in the sun against her sun kissed body,She was breathtaking. He had never met anyone like her, sure everyone he had ever been with knew his title. They were either noble, or acquainted with nobility. The commoners he bedded, he never formed any kind of bond with. But Aria, she was different, she was something special. He never told her he was a prince, he also was almost afraid to make a move in fear she would run.
"So, as beautiful as it is here. And as much as I love laying on the beach. I did not eat breakfast and I am starving." She sat up. "Oh. Right, sorry about that. There are some places in town we can grab a bite. Lets get going." They dressed and went back to the bike. A short ride layer they found a small bistro nestled into the small town. Once they walked in the amazing smells smacked them in the face. A little old lady walked up to them and said something in Italian. Leo answered back in perfect Italian and they were taken to a table. A plate of warm breadsticks were placed on the table with a melted butter dish. "So you know Italian?" She ripped a piece of bread off "how many other languages do you know?" "Um many, I am not sure how many there are to be honest."
"Wow, that's impressive. And what is it you do for a living Mr Rhys? That is when you're not jet setting across Europe. " she continued to nibbled on her breadstick. "Well, my family is in um, politics. I am learning the business." He half lied. "Interesting, and what type of politics?" She questioned. She is actually interested in this? "Um governing, foreign policy." He half lied again. He was trying hard to be anyone but crown Prince Leo. He never thought he would be so happy to see the waitress in his life. They ordered and then it was back to questions.
"So Aria, what is it you do?" He wondered. "Me? Well I am a student at Penn state." She answered twirling the pasta on her fork. "Fantastic, what is your major?" He leaned in, genuinely invested in learning more about her. "English, I want to be and elementary school teacher. " she answered. "That is really great, Aria." Leo reached his hand across the table squeezing hers. "I think you will make a wonderful teacher. "
After their meal they hopped back on Leo's bike. she had plans with Ellie that night and she would kill her if she stood her up. He couldn't stop the permanent grin that was plastered on his face as she held onto his waist tight. He had taken many women for a ride on the many bikes he owned, but something about her holding onto him felt different, it felt good, it felt right. As they pulled up in front of the hotel Aria hopped off. "Thank you Leo, for an amazing day." She handed him the helmet. "It was my pleasure." He grinned taking the helmet from her. "Well, I better get ready." She hesitated, Leo wanted to kiss her, after the grotto he restrained himself. She leaned in giving him a hug and turned to walk away. He hadn't made plans to see her again, but he wasn't ready to say good bye "where are you going tonight?" He blurted out, he needed to say something, anything to see her again. A smile formed across her face "Dogana. Bye Leo." She waved as she walked down the alley and dissapeared. Leo kicked his bike to life and took off, he would definitely be going to the club tonight. He just needed to convince Percy to join him.

DAY 3 OF RARE PAIR WEEK IS HERE!!
BIG WARNING!! Beware of mention of PPD. I apologize deeply if this hurts you somehow. It’s not my intention at all. I just wanted to try a different path and I reaaaaally hope that the experiences and the knowledge I’ve got (I’m an outsider) fulfilled the goal. Please, let me know what you think. I had so many emotions (I just got emotional because I’ve got the okay) so I hope you all like it.
Also, big shout out to @mitchsentrash for the support and the encouragement. I owe you, dude.
Pairing: Chacie
Theme: Single parent
Type: Angst? Fluff
Summary: Chloe finds out she's pregnant. Stacie offers her help. Could they win the battle?
Wordcount: 3292
What the fuck would she do now? Scratch that. How the fuck would she do it?
Chloe felt how her world started to become harder every second that passed. She wasn't ready for this. Most importantly, she didn't ask for this. This was a whole other level that she wasn't ready for and she could fuck it up enormously.
For the last half an hour, she's been walking without destination opting for sitting at the nearby park.  Mistake Nº2, she realized. She discovered right there that the world doesn't stop. Time never stops. If that was the case, she'd give anything to make it happen and have a few extra minutes - God knows the idea of years was tempting enough, but no. She should figure how to continue from now on and how she'd manage to take care of a child. Her child.
"Are you okay? Why are you crying?" a sweet little voice spoke in front of her. Reacting to the sound, her hands moved unconsciously to brush the few tears away.
"I'm okay, thank you," she couldn't surprise the smile that formed on her lips.  Before she could continue, what she supposed was the little girl's mom, called her. She watched with tenderness at the little person waving her hand while making her way to her family.
And that's when she decided it. She'll give her baby the best life she could. Happy accident or not, her baby would be so happy that sadness will never reach them. Even if their family were just two, love will always be there. She promised to themselves.
Bringing her hand to her flat stomach, she let herself start to wonder what the future had for her. Would it be a girl? Or perhaps a boy? Oh god, a little Taz running through the house with their happy spark enlighting her life.
"Since when do you stick with water, Ginger?" Amy asked with a curious expression. Oh, shit. Of course, someone would bring it up. That was the reason she almost turned them down for their monthly Bellas' reunion.
"I just had a rough day and I'm not feeling the alcohol," she shrugged the topic off. Her hand going unconsciously to her belly - as it seemed to be a habit now. But the action wasn't missed for everybody. Not for certain leggy brunette, who just started to analyze every movement she did.
"Another stubborn dog?" Emily asked with the giggle of a little kid. "Ohhh, was it a bunny this time?"
"None, Em. Just a bunch of owners that decided to organize and come together to the revision," she smiled at the younger woman.
The night seemed to go great despite a few compromising questions. How she loved these women that she got to call her sisters. She almost blurts out the words during the evening but decided against it at the last minute. It wasn't the right time, not yet.
"You're pregnant," Stacie spoke after some minutes of silence during the car ride. Chloe's head whiplashing in a way that she could have broken her neck. "I've been there, Chlo," she clarified for the redhead.
"I'm scared and excited at the same time," she confessed. Her hands starting to sweat at the inspection of the brunette. "I found out a week ago," she whispered.
"Why didn't you tell me? Or at least Aubrey," the inquisitive look in the younger woman sending shivers through her spine.
"And tell what? 'Oh, you know? I'm pregnant and Chicago doesn't want to know about it'. It isn't easy," she snapped. Regretting it instantly. "I'm sorry."
"No, no. I get it," Stacie looked at her briefly before centering her vision on the road. "You shouldn't go through this alone. You're allowed to ask for help," Chloe tried to find disappointment in them but failed miserably.
"Who? My parents would kill me if they find out. And the girls have their own lives," she opted to lose herself in the window. The street lights casting an orange shadow on her face, making Stacie's faint at the sight.
"Me," the brunette couldn't help it. "I would gladly help you." And Chloe felt her heart jump at the proposal. Her eyes starting to glaze at the menacing tears.
"Would you really help me? But you already have Bella and-"
"Bella is 5 now and she has a father. I can totally mold my schedule to yours. I'll be there for you, Chlo." the smile on her friend's lips melting her instantly. How could she score such a good friend?
And that's how both women embarked on the exciting journey of motherhood. Stacie was always by her side. She even protested -in vain, when Stacie made herself home for the night when Chloe's body was giving her a hard time. God bless the brunette's heart and patience.
At the 5th month, they finally got to see the gender. Both women crying when they found out it was a girl. She was a sparky bundle for sure, making Chloe laugh whenever Stacie decided to talk to the bump. Hell, even Bella wanted to talk to the baby, which she did.
Days passed and with them passed the months. By now, except her inability to walk straight, some back pain and fluid retention, Chloe had it relatively easy. Stacie -firm at her promise, got to go with her to the Lamaze coaching and helped her to master the tips as the pro she was by herself. It literally amazed Chloe how involved Stacie had become in her life; something she treasured deeply.
As the moment of giving birth came closer, even the other Bellas were now buying different items for the baby to come. Beca just wanted Ellie (yes, the music producer had already named her baby) to be as cool as herself so she always would come up with little tiny rock star's outfits. Claiming that she'll be the greatest godmother ever. Something that led them to arguments about who would be the baby's guarantor.
Cloe's heart melted at all the love she was getting from her sisters. Tears were a common thing by now as she observed them take over her place and stopping her from moving unless it was strictly necessary.
"I promise I'm alright, guys. I just want to help with the room," she tried to fight back. "I'm pregnant, not disabled." Aubrey just rolled her eyes.
"You want to help? Keep doing what you do and sit there," the blonde then grabbed one of the decorations an put it on the shelve above the crib.
She loved visits. She really did. But sometimes they were just so much to handle and she just wanted to be useful. A hand placed on her shoulder, making her jump in place only to find it was Stacie.
"Don't worry. I've hidden some so you can place them wherever you want once we're alone" the warm breath on her ear made things to Chloe.
They both had agreed that since the baby was almost here and everything would become pretty hectic, Stacie would move with her as long as she was required. Something that both women learned to live with. Even Bella had her own place to crash the days she was assigned to Stacie.
"STACIE!" a sudden scream woke her from her happy earth. Running to Chloe's room, she found the redhead with blank face and panic evident in it. "The baby is coming," she said as she stared at her wet sheets.
"OH SHIT!" is all the brunette could mutter as she tried to think properly what to do next. Yes, she's been there and it should be a piece of cake for her... but her whole body started to tremble at the knowledge that she'll get to finally meet Chloe's baby. That baby that made her discover another kind of love. "Okay... with calm steps we'll go to the car, yeah?" she made a mental note to grab the baby's bag. "Come up, everything will be alright" she kissed the redhead's temple in an attempt to calm her.
"OH, MY GOD! She's eager to come to the world," Chloe spoke as they made their way to the hospital. Pain starting to show on her face.
"Listen here, little gremlin. You better wait till mommy is with the doctors or I will never ever give you sweets," she spoke firmly as if the baby could understand her. An action that made Chloe laugh bittersweetly. She could imagine the contractions were something very real now. "Remember babe. Deep breaths. In through-"
"I know how to breathe, Stace! Just hurry up, please." she just decided to bite her tongue and tried to drive as fast as she could without putting them in danger.
It wasn't until several hours later that Chloe got to finally start to push. Hell, her hand would definitely need a checkup after this. She could feel something was about to break. And she probably should throw sacred water at Chloe. The redhead didn't stop cursing since the contractions reached the top level; something so-not-Chloe. Where was her sweet kind friend?
"Oh shit! Please take her out already," Chloe had started to cry some minutes ago. Her whole body shaking in pain.
"Breathe, Chloe. You have to help her, okay?" Stacie kissed the top of her head lovingly at the doctor's words. She herself remembering Bella's birth.
"Come on Red. We almost have her with us. You can do it," she started to whisper encouraging words in her ear. Squeezing her hand every now and then. Something that seemed to help the soon-to-be mom.
"I can't, Stace. I won't make it." Chloe cried the words. Her whole body in a fight between rest and deliver her baby.
"Yes, you can! You're so much stronger than this, sweetie," she brushed some wet red locks off her forehead. "Come on, just focus and push matching her timing, yeah? You can definitely make it."
And after what seemed like hours -but was just some more minutes of screams, tears, and words mixed with love and encouragement, a loud new crying sounded in the room. Chloe just gave birth a healthy baby, if her lungs were proof enough about it. Her heart started to beat frantically as she reached forward to see the baby but the squeeze on her hand made her turn her attention to Chloe. "She's alright. You did it perfectly- CHLOE?!" her heart stopped at the sight in front of her. Chloe had just passed out. The monitors around her starting to beep at a different rhythm than before.
As the doctors and nurses started to work on Chloe, she made her walk to the baby. And she was sure she'd need one of those oximeters because her heart's rate was jumping at the mixed emotions. She was trapped between a healthy beautiful baby and a not-so-healthy Chloe. Her Chloe. She asked for all the gods out there and the universe to help Chloe and so the three of them could go home.
"Would you like to take her?" the pediatrician asked Stacie after she'd finished checking up on the baby. "She's a perfect baby," she spoke as Stacie placed the little body on her arms. Tears starting to fall, again.
"Hell, she is," she couldn't help it but to kiss the newborn head. Her heart grew 100 times bigger at that moment. She dreamed about this moment a lot of times, but none of them were like this. She just decided to lost herself in taking care of the baby in order to stop worrying about Chloe. For what the doctors were saying, it was just a minor complication. God, she was aware that not all the births were the same; but did she wish for Chloe's to be like hers. Just vomit and dizziness.
"The mom will be okay," One of the nurses spoke softly. "She just needs to rest and regain strength," and with a soft squeeze on her arm, she made her way out the room.
Just then she felt the happiness take over her. A soft teary laugh escaping her lips. Both of her girls were safe and sound. All she could ask was for Bella to be here with them. Her family of four -as she pictured quietly in her mind, was a reality. If only Chloe could love her back.
"Welcome, my little sunshine," she whispered to the tiny human in her arms. "I promise you that you'll never be alone," her index finger caressing the softness of Elli's face. She opted she'd call her that till Chloe comes up with her name.
"Stace?" a hushed voice called her. Looking at the bed, Chloe was staring at them with tears in her eyes.
"You did it," she placed the baby in her mother's arms. Her heart jumping at the moment. "You did this beautiful being." she couldn't help but bring their forehead together. Something that she got used to doing time ago.
"She's beautiful," were Chloe's words before a comfortable silence settled between them as Chloe started to breastfeed her daughter. Stacie melting at such an intimate moment between mother-child.
"I want to name her Hope," the redhead looked at her. A shy smile on her lips.
"Hope Beale. It really suits, Chlo" she kissed her forehead before returning her attention to her Hope.
She didn't know exactly when things at home became a mess. Hope wouldn't stop crying and Chloe wouldn't stop feeling sad whenever she had to take care of her child. Her energy started to drown off her body as she tried to calm both parties -literally- all the time. She started to worry that it could be PPD. She knew it was -somehow common after the childbirth itself and, even if she knew little about it, some of the symptoms matched.
"Shhh, it's okay little one," she tried to calm a crying Hope who seemed to decide to test her limits. "Please, don't cry baby girl," she couldn't hold back the tears anymore. "Your mommy loves you to pieces. She's just going through a hard moment," she kissed the baby's nose. "I promise you that."
"A dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep" Stacie sang the words fighting the lump on her throat. "In dreams, you lose your heartaches. Whatever you wish for, you keep…" she continued rocking her softly. Her sweet voice and the movements finally working. Hope started to calm gradually as she continued. "Have faith in your dreams and someday, your rainbow will come smiling through" her left hand starting to brush a thin line in between the baby's eyebrows. "No matter how your heart is grieving. If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true"
And as if magic was something real, by the end of the lullaby Hope fell in a pleasant dream. Something Stacie was really thankful about. One last look at the crib, she made her way to Chloe. The redhead was in the living room staring at her with tears. Her beautiful smile absent for days, now; making her heartache.
"Come here," She opened her arms as she sat beside her friend.
"You're a literal angel, Stace," Chloe curled up in her arms. Another action that became common among them. When Hope wasn't asking for attention, she'd would happily cuddle Chloe up. Sometimes -always- in bed.
"Can I say something without you snapping?" she asked after some minutes in silence. Her voice trembling with anticipation.
"You know it's not my-"
"I know, baby. I'm aware of that," she started to play with red locks. "That's why I think you may have postpartum depression." the words came as whispers. Chloe pushing herself apart as if she'd been burned.
"Wha-... Do you think so?" and she was surprised that Chloe took her words into consideration. Even if she knew the redhead was very uncomfortable.
"I'm not a psychologist. But the sadness, the anxiety and you not sleeping at all considering I'm looking after Hope... yeah. All those symptoms match," she felt her chest close at the way Chloe could react to this information.
"I... I don't want medication," she almost pleaded. Her voice breaking at the end.
"Maybe you don't need them," Stacie took her trembling hands between her own. "Maybe all you need is going to see someone and working on your bonding with Hope. She needs you, sweetie," her voice came softly. Something that surprised her, but thanked nonetheless.
"I will," Chloe finally let herself cry as the realization stroke her. "I love her, I swear I do!" the sobs making her body shake. "I just want to be a good mom."
"And you will be," Stacie wrapped her arms around her, bringing her closer. "I'm not going anywhere and I promise you that everything will be okay."
Stacie released her own tears right then. She cried all the feeling she had bottled up in order to protect her girls. She needed to gain strength for the recovering. Hopefully, it'll be easier than the last weeks.
Just as she promised them. Chloe and Hope were finally bonding. Chloe had started to enjoy her daughter's spark. Now that the crying decreased noticeably, they got to let her sleep between them when she had colics.
"Look Stace! she has a mole on her neck just like you!" Chloe cried as she got to change her.
"No, she doesn't" the brunette started to look for the mark on the baby's body. And just there, right above her collarbone, a pale brown spot contrasted lightly against the pink skin.
"See?" Chloe caressed the spot making Hope's giggles to sound in the room. Both their hearts expanding every time they got to hear her laugh. "You're like her moma"
Stacie's heart stopped at the words. Her body freezing in time. Sweet lord, would she make a pact with the devil to make it happen.
"Stace?" Chloe called. "You know you are like her mom, right?" and the confusion she felt should be reflected on her face because Chloe just kept explaining. "You took care of her when I couldn't and you love her like your own. You even asked for weeks off after she had born," she felt Chloe's hand squeeze her arm.
"Perks of being a great scientist who is in charge," she joked as if trying to hide the lovey-dovey words menacing to scape her mouth.
She grabbed Hope and started to walk to the living room but a hand grabbed her own, stopping her in tracks and making her face Chloe. Before she could protest, soft lips captured hers. A timid movement that started to became eager. Chloe smiled into the kiss, making her laugh.
"Did you really-"
"I did," Chloe affirmed with her head. "I figured you'd never tell me so I couldn't hold back anymore." she shrugged, taking Hope in her arms.
Her mouth started to open and close at the lack of words. Her brain had probably melted. All she wanted was to properly try those lips. And so she did. Closing the distance -trying to remember that an infant was between them, both women melted in a kiss full of feelings and promises of being there for each other. Forever. After all the stress they went through, she was optimist enough to give herself to the redhead.
"Seems like Bella's wish had become a reality," Chloe laughed softly, kissing her daughter's cheek.
"Seem like we are a family of four," she hugged both her girls, already imagining her daughter's happiness when they get to break the news to the kid the next day. And honestly, she couldn't ask for more.

Brooke
I handed the impatient customer his latte as he passed me his five dollar bill. "Don't be expecting any tips" he spat. I served three others, then went on my break. "Bella, I'm going on break" i said squeezing past my two co-workers, Bella and Jason. Jason smiled at me as I left through the back. I hated working at Starbucks, but I need the money to buy a house far far away from here, just for Cam and I. Cameron is not my boyfriend, if your thinking, he's my brother, big brother, and he's famous for six second videos. I don't want to get into much detail, but he travels the world with his "popular" tour group, called 'Magcon'. I'm so relived that this is my last shift this week, till I'm off for the summer. I'm actually planning on spending it with my two best friends Jack and Jack, who are also famous, but instead they sing. I was thinking that we could go jet skiing and on a few road trips over to Cali--. "Brooklyn Dallas get your little Henie back in that cafe now!" My boss, Derek yelled at me. I walked back in with 10 customers, arms crossed waiting for some attention. "Come on Brooke, we've been waiting for you!" Bella laughed throwing my apron at me. After work I called Cameron to pick me up. "Look sis I can't, I'm having a rough time with mom and dad at the moment, call one of the Jacks or something." I rolled my eyes. "Sure, Cam" I could hear screaming in the background. I rang off and grabbed my things. I sat outside of Starbucks while dialling JJs phone number. "Yooooo" "Hey Jack" "What's up?" "I was wondering if you could come pick me up from work, Cameron can't because of some family thing, and I was wondering if you could come pick me up seems as everyone else is out of town except you and Gilinsky" "Sure thing my girl" I rang off and waited for JJ to come. 5 minutes later Jack pulled up in his Land Rover. "Hey little Darling" he said as he held his shades to the tip of his nose looking down on me. I opened the door strapping my self in. I leaned my head against the window of the car looking out to everyone. "Are they giving you a hard time again?" I shook my head. I saw Jack in the corner of my eye looking at me and smiling. He turned the radio on and blasted the speakers with a little bit of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding- I need your love. Jack started to sing which turned into screams. He turned down the window to a couple which looked a lot like my friends Shelby and Barry. Well they weren't actually my friends, they were just acting like it because I'm best friends and related to quite a lot of famous people. "Hey look it's your friends!" Jack nudged me. I slid down in my seat, not wanting them to see me. "Hey guys" Jack stopped the car. No, Jack. Why oh why! "No, Jack stop" I whispered pulling his arm. Shelby and Barry stood at the window chatting away to Jack. "Are you okay...?" Shelby said leaning in the car. "Brooke" Jack nudged me. "Ah, sorry" I sat up and 'fixed' my hair, but really made it all frizzy. Barry laughed at my stupidness, but not in a harsh way. He smiled at me, while Shelby rolled her eyes. I don't think Barry's that bad after all. We pulled up outside of my house and I could already hear Cam and dad screaming at eachother. I shot up in my seat and reached for Jacks hand. Jack squeezed my hand in reassurance. I grabbed my things and entered the one place I most detested, 'home'. "And where the hell have you been, you brat!" My dad yelled at me once again today. Cameron walked over to me. "Don't talk to her like that!" Cameron said sticking up for me. He'll always stick up for me, even if it was against our dad. Our mother, the bitch, sits in the corner and cries/drinks for hours while our so called 'dad' hits us and beats us, he will make us go days without food. Or even lock me in the cellar when Cameron's out or away. We were warned by father that if we ever tried to run away or tell anyone he'd find us and seriously hurt us. Cameron and I both have quite a few bruises and fresh marks all over our body. We once tried to run away and he caught us at the train station and I never saw Cam in weeks because I was stuck in the attic while he was in the cellar. I saw mother behind us drinking a bottle of vodka. I pushed it out of her hands and it smashed into the floor. "YOU SILLY LITTLE GIRL" she screamed as started to cry. My dad hit my mother then hit me for making my mother cry. "Go to your room before I hit you again" I ran upstairs with a cut cheek. Cameron could hold in the tears, I couldn't. I pushed a chair against my door handle blocking the door way. I herd a knock at the door. I started in a shaky voice. "It's me B" - Cam calls me B all the time (short for brooke) "BROOKLYN DALLAS GET YOUR LITTLE BRATY SLAGGING ARSE DOWN HERE NOW YOU SLUT!" My dad yelled. I hung back waiting for him to burst into my room. Cameron shoved the door open and ran inside. "Hide!" He shoved me in the closet behind my shoe rack. "What about you?" Before he could answer dad came in with his belt. I was hidden too far back in my clothes for him to see me. "Well?" Cameron crossed his arms. "Where is she?" "Why?" "She needs a good seeing to--" "Why?" "Because I have had an email from her teacher, she's been showing me up, again!" "No, she's being bullied and she's sticking up for herself!" Cameron fought back. Dad stood there eyes wide. "Well looks like your going to get her punishment then" Then I stumbled out of the closet. I hugged Cam then stood by his side. "I can't let you do that, Dave" oh no, I just called him by his name. "What did you just call me?" "You're not our dad, you hit us and beat us!" Cameron spat. He hit Cameron with the belt right round the ear. He looked at me then hit me on the back. I fell to the ground in pain, while Cam held his ear keeping everything back. "Stay here, I'll be back!" And with that he left. "We have to go, now!" "What about mother?" I say. "Forget her! We have about 2 minutes approx, grab lots and lots of clothes and all the money you have!" I was a little startled but I turned and got to it. (A/N ignore the caption of the photo but I wanted a hugging picture for them both)

I Don't Think So
"Here we go, sweetheart." Amanda finished putting out a few toys and books on the blanket the baby was sitting on and plopped down beside her.
The sun was out and it was a pleasant, mild morning in Cordonia. The family of three was taking advantage of it to enjoy a peaceful day outside.
Kathleen babbled as she began to crawl across the multicolored quilt towards a stuffed bunny.
Thomas knelt down to film her giggling at the fuzzy fur. He smiled when she looked up at him and reached out her arms. He set the camera down and picked her up. Her smile grew bigger when he held her eye level and kissed her cheek.
"Uh oh." Amanda mumbled to herself when she saw who was approaching.
"Hi!" Nadia called out. "We thought we would come surprise you once we heard you were back home."
Thomas whipped his head around to see not only the Beaumont's but also the royal couple. And their sons.
Amanda stood up and stepped closer to Thomas. "Be nice." She whispered.
He narrowed his eyes. "Did you know they were coming?"
She shook her head. "You know I would have forewarned you if I had."
He grimaced and apologized to her. He pressed a quick kiss to Amanda's lips, hoping he hadn't upset her. She wrapped her arm around his waist and squeezed him in reassurance.
Kathleen's dark eyes grew big and she laughed when the toddler boys ran up. She squirmed in Thomas's arms to get down on the ground with them.
He wasn't having any of it and repositioned her. She grunted and let out a frustrated cry as she twisted to see what the little princes and Xavier were doing.
"Olivia and Drake are still in Lythikos. Jackson and Juliet have been fighting a cold or else they would be here to welcome you back too." Riley explained. She cooed to Kathleen and held her arms out. "Hey pretty girl! Will you come see me?" She asked.
Kathleen leaned forward and Thomas reluctantly passed her over.
Nadia softly squealed. "You've got her in that outfit I sent you!" She and Riley began to talk how cute she was in her little pink onesie and ruffled matching skirt. It soon moved on to a discussion of how much fun it was going to be shopping for her as she grew older.
The six month old twisted around when she heard one year old Ellis laughing uncontrollably as Liam chased him around. His little chunky legs were moving in short bursts of speed as his father pretended he couldn't keep up. Kathleen leaned down and Riley placed her back on the blanket.
Emerick began to chase after Liam and his little brother when Xavier sat down on the blanket and picked up one of the books. Kathleen began to crawl towards the running zone of the little princes as fast as she could.
Thomas bent down and scooped her up when she almost made it. Her lips firmed in a frown at having been denied once again. It matched her father's perfectly.
Amanda watched it all play out and tried her hardest not to laugh. Kathleen's eyes were narrowed as she met her father's irritated gaze. She let out a frustrated cry and wiggled, trying to break free.
"Put her down here." Maxwell patted the blanket. "I've been wanting to get a picture of her and Xavier together."
Thomas knew he didn't have a logical reason to say no. He also knew he couldn't voice the reasons why he was so against this if he wanted to keep his wife happy. He mentally groaned and set Kathleen down on the blanket.
She let out a laugh and crawled away, determined to join in on the fun. Maxwell intercepted her and placed her next to his son. Two and a half year old Xavier looked at the baby and then his father.
"Say hello to Kathleen." Maxwell encouraged, pulling his phone out to snap some photos.
Nadia and Riley were oohing and awing at how sweet Xavier was when he shyly said, "'Lo Half Lee."
"You would give her a name he would have trouble with." Maxwell teased Amanda. He turned back to the two and told him to put his arm around her for a picture.
Amanda glanced at Thomas's panicked face. Little Xavier threw his arms around her and squeezed a surprised grunt out of Kathleen. Her shock gave way to laughter as she looked at him. He dutifully smiled for a picture.
"Look at them!" Nadia exclaimed to Thomas. "Aww!. This will definitely be used for a photo montage during their wedding reception." She knelt down and spoke to her son. "Pumpkin, give Kathleen some lovin'."
Thomas stared wide eyed at his wife, silently screaming she put a stop to this. She bit back her smile and decided to save him. She was just a little too late.
Xavier gave Kathleen a sloppy kiss to her cheek causing everyone but Thomas and Amanda to laugh and exclaim over their first kiss.
"And I was able to capture the beginning of the romance!" Maxwell held his phone up. "I'll make certain to tag you both."
Amanda leaned down and picked Kathleen up. She smiled down at her as she spoke to everyone. "Let me go change her diaper and get a bottle. We will be right back." She motioned with her head for Thomas to come with her. "I need your help with refreshments."
He followed behind her, finally able to allow his face to contort into the irritation he felt. Kathleen looked over Amanda's shoulder at him and began to smile and wave at him.
Thomas was pulled from his thoughts and smiled back, waving when she did so again. She leaned her head against Amanda's shoulder and cut her eyes to him. He realized she had inherited that from her mother. No male species will be able to resist that look, he thought bitterly.
"I'm proud of you." Amanda told him once they were in the nursery.
His eyebrows lifted. "For what?"
"You managed to keep your cool with all the marriage teasing." She smiled when he came up behind her, slipping his arms around her waist. She leaned back and kissed his cheek before changing Kathleen.
"Is there no way we can stop them from pushing her into these miniature men's arms?" He muttered.
She shook her head, laughing. "I'm afraid we have a highly eligible bachelorette on our hands."
Thomas frowned at the thought. "This is our life now, isn't it? People with single sons are going to hound us for her."
"I'm afraid so." Amanda teased. "We are going to have to decide on a curfew for the dates she will go on. Should we allow her to start dating at a year old or wait until the customary three?"
Thomas glared at her. "That's not funny."
She doubled over, laughing at his expression.
He stepped back and folded his arms, waiting on her to take this seriously. She set Kathleen in her crib and walked over to him.
"Smile." She prodded. She kissed his lips and and felt him slowly relax. "We still have a long time before we have to truly worry about Kathleen dating and falling in love."
He rested his forehead against hers. "I suppose so." His lips curved automatically when she kissed him again. He sighed and said, "I still think Kathleen is entirely too young for Xavier's lovin'."
The little lady they were discussing let out a loud squeal after that statement. Amanda could hardly remain upright with her laughter.
"What is so funny?" Thomas asked.
"I think," she said between giggles. "Our daughter disagrees with you. She might have developed a crush on Xavier after that kiss."
Amanda had to sit down as she laughed even harder at the look of pure horror on her husband's face. He approached the crib and directed his attention to Kathleen. This was not going to continue another moment.
He folded his arms while keeping a stern expression on his face. "Listen carefully, young lady. There will be no dates. No crushes. You will wait on the right one to come along or until I have succumbed to senility and do not have a clue what is going on around me. Do you understand?"
Kathleen smiled and lifted her arms up to him. He reached down and picked her up. His frown faltered when she patted his cheek with her little dimpled hand and rested her head on his shoulder. Amanda felt her heart swell with the sweet moment while she watched him gently kiss their baby's forehead.
As they walked downstairs, Thomas muttered to his daughter. "Don't think because I am taking you back out there that this changes anything. You will not be dreaming of wedding photo montages with Xavier Beaumont."

Thing's go bump in the night.
Tumblr media
@speedyoperarascalparty requested Leo & Aria as Hugh Hefner & a playboy bunny. I hope this does it justice.. Nsfw & crack comedy lol. 🎃
"you almost ready?" Aria called out to Leo, who was still in their bathroom. "Go ahead down, I am still in the shower. I will be down in a little bit." He called back. It was their turn to host the annual Halloween party and Aria was excited. Cordonians did not celebrate Halloween as full scale as American's did, so when Ellie and Aria came along, they brought new traditions to not only their gang, but the entire country.
They decided that each couple do a theme, this year Aria and Leo were going as Hugh Heffner and a Playboy bunny. Aria slipped on her stilettos, and double checked herself in the mirror. She pinned her hair up in curls. He make up done in dark tones, and a bright red lip. She gave her thigh high stockings, with a small red bow on the back a quick tug and took for their party.
They transformed the entire lower half of their Valtorian Estate into a haunted scene. Fog, cobwebs, bats. Black drapes covered the walls. A haunted house was bulit in the grand ballroom, they hired actors to walk around and scare their guest. A buffet lay spread out before them, all Halloween inspired foods. Even the staff were in costume, all scary characters of course.
Aria walk around taking the entire sight in. Her home was completely transformed into the spookiest scene she ever laid eyes on. She helped plan every detail, but the way it came together blew her mind.
The guest mingled, a few screams and laughs echoing the halls, she couldn't help but smile. "Aria, this is amazing. " Liam greeted her. "Thank you, you look great as a vampire."
"Damn girl, Sexy Heff looks good on you. Even I may be into you." Ellie giggled as she wrapped her in a hug. "Little blossom, this place is amazing. I can't wait to go in the haunted house but I am a little scared." Maxwell danced in place. "Jay-z and beyonce huh?" Aria gigled at Maxwell. "Rhys you did good." Olivia and Drake approached them dressed and bonnie and clyde. "Olivia how are you feeling?" Aria asked a very pregnant Olivia. "If one of these fools tries to scare me, I can't promise I won't cut them." She huffed. "Liv we talked about the knives." Drake shot a warning look at his fiance.
"Where is Leo?" Liam asked, noticing his brother was no where in sight. "Ahhh guys?" Maxwell pointed to the stairs.
There was Leo ascending the grand staircase. He wore a powder pink body suit, fishnet stockings, and heels. Bunny ears on top of his head, complete with a fuzzy bunny tail on his ass. The group stood there, mouths agape at the sight. He switched his hips as he flawlessly as he shashayed across the ballroom. "Oh. My. God." Liam muttered. "It looks like hes trying to smuggle a banana and two plums." Maxwell squeeled. "If one of his balls pop out, im done." Drake shook his head.
"What is everyone staring at?" Leo approached the group grinning. "I look hot dont I?" He boasted, even dressed as a woman the man was cocky. "You look... something. " Olivia laughed.
They had planned to swap roles, but the finished result was more then Aria expected. She quickly stepped into the role as Hugh, walking up to Leo, slapping his bare ass, making him jump. "If you'll excuse us, I need to parade my sexy bunny around." Aria adjusted her sailor hat and they walked off, mingling with the guest.
As the night went on the party raged. Alcohol flowing made everyone loosen up. Several people tried grabbing Leo's ass making him feel like a piece if man meat.
"So love, I have been dying to know. what do you have on under that robe?" Leo whispered into her ear? A devilish smile played on her lips. " I could tell you, or, you could come find out." She pulled him into a searing kiss. He grabbed her hand pulling her into the haunted house. Most of the guest had already been in, all except Maxwell, he was a little to scared. The actors had since gone on break, so it was just them.
Aria tossed him into a chair, standing in front of him. Leo reached for the tie of the crushed velvet robe and growled in satisfaction at his findings. His hands cupped and squeezed her bare breast, as his mouth attached to one of her pink buds. He rolled his tongue and flicked forming stiff peaks on both as his hands ghosted down her sides. He slipped a hand into her boy shorts parting her folds, he develed two fingers into her wet heat, curling and pumping them in and out. She threw her head back at the sensation.
"Take this shit off." She demanded as Leo stood, quickly disrobing his bunny get up. She pushed him back down onto the chair, dropping to her knees. She took his hard length into her stroking up and down. She ran her tongue up his shaft and around the head, lapping up the trickle of pre cum that dripped out. She slowly lowered her mouth onto him, teasing him, inching her lips farther and farther down before she took him entirely into her mouth. She gaged as his long thick cock hit the back of her throat. "Oh fuck." He yelled. Her stiffled moan vibrating his cock made him grab her head, guiding it back and forth. He felt his balls tighten, he was close to his release. The grip on her head told her he was close. She released his cock with a pop. A whimper escaped his lips.
She stood up and Leo grabbed her waist. Pulling her onto him. His strong arms cupped her ass as he lifted her to his face. Yanking off her panties with his teeth. His mouth quickly attatching to her wet pussy. " Leo, im gonna fall." She gasped. "You can fall back baby, I got you." He assured her. She let her body fall back against his chest as he held her pussy to his face and ate her like a watermelon slice.
His soft tongue swirled around her sensitive bud, sending jolts of electricity through her body. He continued licking and sucking, her legs shook, the pleasure intense as she felt herself coming undone. "Fuck Leo, oh my god yes." She screamed as her jucies flood his mouth. He took every once of her swwet nectar. He lowered her hips down, she straddled herseld on him.
"We're not done yet my sexy bunny. I'm gonna ride you til you explode." She lowered herself onto his thick length, rotating and swiveling her hips. Eliciting a deep throaty moan from him. She picked up the pace, digging her nails into his shoulders as she bounced up and down on his rock hard cock. "Fuck, yes,Leo." She moaned as she felt the fire building deep withing her core.
The chair scooting back, hitting up against the walls of the make shift house. She came down harder and harder on his dick. "Fuck baby. Ride my cock." He moaned. That did it she felt her release coming as waves of pleasure pulsed throughout her body. The small house shaking around them. "fuck, oh, oh yes yes yes, fuck oh my fucking god." She screamed as came completely undone. Leo grunted out as he found his own release. Aria collapsing against his chest.
They both heard a loud scream followed by "little petunia, help me." They looked at each other and bust into a fit of giggles. "Well, looks like we scared Maxwell shitless. Happy Halloween love." Leo kissed her. "Happy Halloween." She grinned.
