People make the mistake of assuming that the tiniest thing from itachi would make sasuke hate him to the point of never forgiving him in alternate universes when that is simply not the case.

It would be tiresome to explain what should be known but sasuke loved, loves and continued to love itachi even after everything. Hate existed but was only reinforced BY itachi. It was itachi who asked to be killed. It was all him and his manipulations.

And the hate was never even that strong, considering how quickly his heart softened when he heard that itachi loved him and that he was forced. By all means, that shouldn't be enough considering the damage itachi has done to sasukes mental health, but for the youngest, apparently, that was enough.

What do you think Nick and Sunny's ethnicities are?

I've always somewhat headcanonned Sunny as Japanese-American, and Basil as having at least one European parent, both living in Europe, and an American grandmother. I have no idea where that second headcanon comes from. It's probably me projecting my own French-ness onto my favorite little blorbo -- another explanation is that OMORI seems to be pretty explicitely set in the USA, but Basil's parents are said to travel frequently and Sunny's never seen them in his life... and since it's easier to travel in Europe in my (limited) experience, my brain might've just made the association. Sunny being Japanese-American is a pretty popular headcanon because of his chara-design so I don't feel like I have to explain that one.

Anyway, they both live in France for plot reasons.

I have not thought about any lore details when i drew them so I’ll go on a bit of a ramble, see if we can come to a conclusion in the end o(-(

Alright so i think merfolks are quite rare, and since merfolk myth are of greek (?? origin (i might be wrong though :’))) so people in Hisui probably don’t have stories of half fish half human creatures in their folklore.

So Ingo gets wooshed to hisui and loses his memories, he would drift in unfamiliar ocean for days and sing the melodies he used to sing to call for his brother. He doesn't know what the melody means but just sings it because its the one of the few familiar things he remembers.

Palina hears a strange song underwater when she went diving once, she swims to the source and sees this huge person who’s thrice her size, dressed in strange clothes and has fish tail for legs. The song is very loud and it hurts when she gets too close, so she reports to the others of a strange pokemon(?

The people of Hisui probably see/hear him and just- avoids him bc they think hes a very strong pokemon, maybe Ingo approaches one of them and kindly asks where he is and is met with a bunch of spoiled apricorns in his face- Some brave soul probably chucked a pokeball at him too but i don’t think a pokeball would work on him?? (Would the twins count as pokemon????? Can they talk to other pokemon?????? Probably??????????)

When Professor Laventon learns of this he would sail out to find this mysterious “pokemon” and study him, but Ingo grew to be wary and swims down into the depths to avoid the ship. Later when Prof Laventon does get to actually get closer to him he finds out that Ingo isn’t quite a pokemon and he can hold a proper conversation. ((Mermaids are more likely to be a galarian myth than a hisuian one so i think Prof Laventon would recognize that part probably.

Anyhow— It wouldn’t make a lot of sense for Ingo to become warden of Lady Sneaseler in this AU bc hes a fish and there’s no large body of water in the Coronel Highlands iirc, or a warden at all, bc why would they trust a fish person that has no memories— But he probably makes friends with Basculigion bc they’re around the same area-

Though the thought of Ingo drifting alone through the ocean and singing the songs he used to sing with his brother together while having no idea why he knows them and where they came from is verrrrryyy sad and i like that thought- He also never took off his cloak even though it makes swimming more difficult than it needs to be.

If Phoenix survives or not is up for interpretation. I personally like to think he does, because dang it, his story ain't over yet! And if SG/Phoenix can survive the stuff SG/LL does to him, then Regular Phoenix can survive this!
