Lots of us start figuring out we're aro by asking what the difference between romantic and platonic attraction and feelings are, and finding out we don't experience the former.

But you will find many answers to the question, and they can be confusing, especially if they come from alloro queer people who have their own unique relationships with love and romance, or if they come from alloace people.

And that can be confusing, and lead to questioning if you're really aro or not.

I don't have a definitive, scientifically researched and cited and formatted MLA 12pt font answer for you.

Because I don't know the answer either. I still question if I'm really aro or not.

But I am here to tell you that that's okay.

It's okay even if you read a list of what romantic attraction is and check all the boxes.

It's okay if you read a list of the differences and relate to both in equal amounts.

It's okay if your experiences fluctuate.

If you don't feel like your feelings, love or otherwise, are romantic, then they don't have to be. Don't let other people entirely dictate how you choose to label and classify your own feelings.
