Nagisa knows a lot about fashion because of his mother, so he knows what good outfits to get you, and he'll get the both of you matching outfits, just for the fun of it

he also knows you well of enough to know what you will and wont like so there is nothing that he will get you that you don't like

though he definably how beautiful you look, hes not the type to show you off and parade you around, he more on the subtle side

don't get me wrong he will be supportive and take care of you but he's just more chill than someone like Karma

he also knows how to do hair, so sometimes, instead of you going to get your hair done, he'll just do it for you. he'll put small pieces of Jewlery in your hair as well. just to make you shine a bit more.

he's smart enough to catch onto your interest, and things that do or don't work for you

like if your trying out this new shampoo he will definably notice the affect its having on you hair, and the same goes for facial items, lotions, creams

if he ever finds someone hating, he will keep his composure, but less be honest, he is fuming on the inside. he'll get them to back off(bc we all know that he can be scary when he needs/wants to)

then when you both get back home, he'll make you feel so loved and special, even if that persons words had no affect on you. will literally get you everything that he knows that you want

all in all, he's great to have around while being high maintenance, helpful and supportive

he loves specific hairstyles on you, so he'll have you get those unless you want something else

there are just somethings that he loves to see on you, so that means whenever you go to the store for your shopping spree he'll give you some money to get those thing specifically

since he has such a large amount of power and control, there's no way that anyone will ever try to say anything about you

but on the rare occasion that someone does try something, he is getting rid of them immediately. not in the killing way, just getting them away from you, and messing with their life just a little bit, making things just a bit harder for them

Asano Gakushu Symbolism | The Devil

Charisma is defined in the Oxford Dictionary as "a compelling attractiveness or charm that inspires devotion in others".

Gakushu was seen exercising immense charisma in nearly every chapter he appeared in, such as his opening speech, the rallying of Class A, commanding of the pole topping event, the entirety of the school festival arc, and the resolution of the second semester finals.

On a more general note, his charm offensive clearly isn't limited to Kunugigaoka alone. According to the character book, he has a vast network of friends all around the world, including space, and he's also been scouted for sports and entertainment industries.

Much like how the devil is depicted as possessing an irresistible charm capable of swaying individuals toward malevolent deeds, Gakushu's charisma exhibits a similar duality. While he wields his charm for both benevolent and nefarious purposes, it underscores the seductive power of charisma to influence others toward differing ends.

I took a closer look and identified the figure the anime used to illustrate this idea.

Since 1856, the name Baphomet has been associated with the "Sabbatic Goat" image (on the right) drawn by Éliphas Lévi, composed of binary elements representing the "symbolization of the equilibrium of opposites": half-human and half-animal, male and female, and good and evil. Lévi's intention was to symbolize his concept of balance, with Baphomet representing the goal of perfect social order.

The historical associations of Baphomet with power and control primarily stem from its use in medieval and Renaissance occultism. Over time, Baphomet became associated with the occult and esoteric traditions, representing hidden knowledge, alchemy, and mysticism.

Gakushu's true goals were obscured behind his suasive campaign that bestowed Class A with a shared responsibility to secure the top spots for the exams in order to win the bet the Big Five rashly proposed to Class E. In reality, he was also taking advantage of the indefinite conditions of the bet for his own higher purposes; which was to obtain blackmail against his father.

Keep in mind that this was also one of the few instances where he refers to Gakuho as 'father', albeit said in his head.

The flame of intelligence shining between his horns is the magic light of the universal balance, the image of the soul elevated above matter, as the flame, whilst being tied to matter, shines above it.

Baphomet exhibits similar features: the head of a goat, a symbol on the forehead, and a flaming torch between the horns.

I couldn't identify the deity in this panel from Chapter 52, but we can deduce much from the 666 on its nose that its the devil. The monstrous figure is regarded as something beautiful by the crowd of admirers. The portrayal here differs from the anime in the manner that this paints a picture of deceit while the animation exudes power and authority.

The devil is a complex ethical symbol and It all comes together neatly in his questionable 2/10 ethics stat.

His debut eventually concludes with imagery of centipedes crawling around in the backdrop, the most dominant motif between the Asano men. That alone deserves a separate analysis, which I'll find time for later.

Pairing: Romantic - Rivalry

Let's start with their yandere behavior.

Karma is Manipulative/Cunning, Obsessive, Sadistic, Impulsive, Jealous/Possessive, yet also Empathetic and Laid-back.

Gakushu is Obsessive, Manipulative, Controlling, Possessive, and very Persistent.

The two act very similar and share some traits.

Despite Karma looking like he has more traits, you could argue they're even or Gakushu is worse due to his popularity.

Both yanderes share the Obsessive, Manipulative, and Possessive yandere trait.

They would never be yanderes who share, however.

They are both yandere who like to mess with your head but they'd have so much conflict.

First of all... they're in two different classes.

Gakushu is the best of the best, while Karma is part of Class-E... a class looked down upon.

Karma has a tendency to be more violent than Gakushu, but Gakushu can still be a threat.

You could meet either first, it doesn't entirely matter.

The other will eventually know about you.

You could be part of a higher class like Gakushu or be in Class-E like Karma.

When they do meet each other they seem like the type to give passive aggressive comments towards each other.

They already have a strained rivalry with each other but it only gets worse when they realize they both like you.

Karma is going to, of course, taunt Gakushu about it.

This frustrates Gakushu but he tries to keep a calm personality and vows to show Karma where he belongs.

He'll even do some taunting of his own.

They are both the type of yandere to be intrigued when they're hooked on you, researching and watching you to determine why you invade their thoughts so often.

Karma is going to tease you as he always does, he'd also rub the fact he's able to in Gakushu's face.

Gakushu isn't one for teasing... but seeing Karma so laid-back around you is infuriating.

What does he think he's doing?

Karma takes joy in harassing Gakushu.

He likes to get in his rival's head.

Gakushu likes to do the same to Karma, but it's not out of sadistic desire.

He messes with Karma in an attempt to get him to back off.

Karma mostly likes to be a pain in the ass to Gakushu as he's concerned about what he'd do to you if he let him have you.

Karma has empathy towards you... unlike Gakushu.

The dynamic is Gakushu trying to manipulate you into trusting him and only him... after all, he sees you as his little puppet/doll to play with.

Meanwhile Karma is trying to sabotage Gakushu the entire time, wanting to keep you to himself instead of leaving you to some popular kid.

If not, then the other way around happens.

There would be fights.

Karma is eager to use violence against Gakushu, especially if it means he gets to keep you.

Gakushu normally uses other means to get rid of rivals... but when it comes to Karma...

Part of him wants to beat him at his own game.

A blow to the ego

They're both pretty selfish yanderes.

They like the idea of molding your mind into what they want and keeping you as their plaything.

They taunt each other, they get into verbal fights, and they even get physical.

It's easy to think that Karma is better due to his Assassination Class when it comes to fighting.

But I'd argue that Gakushu, as the plotting principal's son, is somewhat even matched if not a little lower.

Their goals with you are very similar.

Karma cares more for you than Gakushu does though.

Gakushu is more in love with obtaining you and controlling you at first.

Karma's obsession starts with intrigue and curiosity towards you, before finally falling for you because you're you.

They both utilize charisma to convince their darling and it's like they mirror each other in yandere behavior at times.

Essentially, their entire rivalry is countering each other.

They'd both flirt, they both feel you're theirs... it's a game of tug of war.

Gakushu is more calculating than playful in his yandere behavior but besides that they rival each other in behavior.

That's what happens with foil characters... they're similar to their counterpart yet have differences to emphasize other traits.

They'd both be capable of kidnapping.

Karma learned it for hostages in his class.

Gakushu learned it from his father... probably... that's up in the air.

Karma may be a bit more capable of murder than Gakushu, but Gakushu can still make rivals disappear if he feels it's needed.

They both have such similar goals... yet despise the idea of allowing the other to win at anything.

There's no point in making a choice... both of them are nearly identical... in the end your fate is the same... a toy to play with as much as they desire.
