Do you think it would scare Reiko when he realizes he loves his s/o? Because he isn’t used to that emotion, and doesn’t know how to handle something that isn’t aggression. Do you think there would be issues?

I do think it would scare him, poor Reiko has been an orphan for so long and has nothing but the military to resemble a family. He’s been trained and raised to be the perfect soldier and that doesn’t include a manual on loving someone, so when he realizes how much he loves his s/o it’s terrifying. Part of him feels like he’s letting down and betraying General Shao because for the first time in his like someone is more important to Reiko than his general is. Reiko is kind of a 0 to 100 kind of person though so as soon as he realizes he loves his s/o and that it’s not a betrayal to General Shao that he has a lover he’s there for his s/o 110 percent. They become his whole world, his reason to live or die, his reason he does anything he does and Reiko does his absolute best that his s/o wants for nothing. He would move heaven and hell for them because that’s just the kind of person he is, I mean he’s willing to go on a suicide mission for General Shao, think of the things he would do for his s/o. Reiko definitely does have aggression issues so that’s something he and his s/o have to work through but once you get through that he is the most loving and loyal man you can possibly imagine and is prime husband material.
