So. Let's just say there's a particular room in my "friends" Inn, that sometimes scares off customers. How would I-- I mean my "friend"! Deal with that kind of situation?

Ever seen a haunted fruit?

Shutter Ghost: Umm, maybe that banana Banana Pie gave me that never went bad? Otherwise, the only haunted fruits I've encountered are these "ghosts" and "pumpkins."

The "ghosts" and "pumpkins" are super fun treats to make for Halloween! For the "ghosts," just peel bananas, cut them in half, and add chocolate chip eyes and a popsicle stick to hold them with. The "pumpkins" are actually peeled tangerines with celery, peppers, or other green vegetables.

I found the idea here while searching for haunted fruits!

Nothin’ like a snazzy windbreaker and roller skates to woo a mare! Shutter Ghost thought, trotting across the tiled floor of the diner. He pulled in a breath and, using his magic, slowly unfurled a banner that read “Pony Prom?” and two pairs of roller skates, holding them out towards Rose Moon. “Rose Moon? Care to join me at the Pony Prom this year? There’s gonna be slushies!”

Can you tell us about your family?

Shutter Ghost: My mother's name is Willow Frond! She knows a lot about trees and plants. And my father, Pumpkin Palladium, is a pumpkin farmer and jewelry maker. You should see his Jack-O-Lanterns around Halloween!

Pumpkin Palladium is an earth pony who uses magical crystals to be able to make jewelry. Shutter's birth mother, Silver Fire, passed away when he was too young to remember her. Pumpkin met Willow Frond, another earth pony, soon after and fell in love with her, and it's Willow that Shutter remembers as his mother figure. He knows about Silver Fire's passing, but he doesn't have any memories with her.

Rosa Blanca: I love your cats! Please tell us more about them?

Shutter Ghost: Sure! Void is my first cat, and he can blow bubbles and sense entities. Whisp is my second cat. He sneaks off a lot and gets into tons of mischief. And Pecan is my third! He's technically a changeling, but his cat form is his favorite.

Mod Mittens: I got the idea for Void blowing bubbles from this commission, and I was so obsessed with it it's now cannon! :)

Also I really enjoy Mrs. Rosa Blanca's design! She gives me the same vibes as a really old My Little Pony computer game I like, Friendship Gardens. Super nostalgic, warm, and cuddly!
