OOOH YES THE DANCE SCENE!! oh my god, okay. so.

if i remember correctly, i believe this was a scene i'd written wayyy back before i even thought about posting this fic. and 100%, i just wanted a dance scene where they were really snarky and playful with each other. (it has the energy of a scene from a rom-com called "The Wedding Date" where they're dancing but stomping each other's feet and quietly bickering the whole time. i'd say that's probably a direct inspiration for this scene, now that i think about it.) also worth noting, i believe, this is the first time they've been this close in the fic. like, physical proximity-wise? do with that what you will. i also LOVE that you mention Jimmy in this chapter, because i.. i had such a good time. there are, in blatant honesty, only a few moments where I think i actually nailed a very huffy version that falls into proper characterization and this is one of those times. specifically "He could be immature, just this once" is a HUGELY AU-based characterization, i will say, because jimmy is like. the good prince who does what he's told and had to force his way into the light and thus that means being mature and proper and whatnot. but i just DIG this lovely little moment of the tables turning, just allowing himself to be like the more rabble rouse-y and childish type. this is also proven further in, too, because he goes with the prank idea! also, jimmy getting partially knocked off that same 'proper' pedestal by not being able to lead the dance, by the way. he's always been taught to lead, because of course he is the prince and he has to lead but in this case, he doesn't have to. and tango won't let him. and that is VERY annoying, haha. i like to think, if this were from tango's perspective, he'd be just. very amused by how frustrated jimmy gets. yeah, i just am very tickled by all of that, now that i'm looking back at this scene. as a whole, this chapter is just jimmy indulging his own urges to be a little chaotic shit purely out of a "might as well, who's gonna say something?" mindset. <3 and i love that for him. i think that's kinda all i have to say about it! thank you for sending in a scene <3 i really love this part and it was fun to revisit, honestly.

💌: What's your favorite Mail quest/Letter?

I'm splitting these up because my favorite mail quest is not my favorite letter.

My favorite Mail Quest line is Egabell's Safety Checks, I just find it incredibly funny that she sends you letters of all these dangerous things you definitely shouldn't do, which then tempt you to immediately do them anyway, and it just causes a lot of chaos to light myself on fire for 30 seconds in the middle of snaxburg.

My Favorite Letter. Is this one.

None of you know like I do. REAL ORLIFA HEADS WILL UNDERSTAND. This essentially (in my brain) canonized Orlifa and Floofty's relationship because it perfectly, and I mean PERFECTLY, tied into the story I have for Orlifa's time on snaktooth.

For those unaware, The basic idea is the two of them have various tensions that all come to a point mid game and they get into a big fight right around when Head Games would take place (Floofty's final side quest) and Floofty completely rips into Orlifa and refuses to acknowledge her own bugsnax research and help towards their own experiments, saying she's not a real scientist etc etc., and after Head games and some self-reflection (and a lot of scolding from others), Floofty apologizes and begins to help Orlifa with her work and slowly gains her trust and respect back. And I have THE moment I saw this letter for the first time, because I was streaming the whole fucking game live on bigsnax launch day, and I had. A normal reaction to it.

So yea. Nothing will ever beat that letter. Orlifa is canon in the game now because of this that's the rules :)

🎥: Best Video diary?

Honestly I don't really have a particular favorite, the video diaries are good little snippets into snaktooth before the journalists arrival and certainly important for the full game experience but idk nothing really stands out at me when I think about them, they're all neat.

💬: What dialogue line(s) are constantly playing in your head?

I learned to rip the dialogue lines from the games files originally to mash together for animation dialogue but turned out to be an even bigger bonus when I got the bigsnax voice lines so I can listen to Floofty laugh and tell me they think I'm funny (y'know. like a normal person)

hahaha okay, are they really headcanons if they're my character? and in addition, are they really headcanons if they're just me? i'm not really sure i have any headcanons for my s/i. but have some facts about them! that i guess i can go ahead and declare canon right now!

they suffer from dermatillomania as is evident by the amount of imperfections on their skin, but luckily they have their boyfriend there to hold their hand if he notices them picking <3

their antennae and tail emit different levels of light depending on their emotions! the happier they are, the brighter they glow. i would advise to not let them die out.

their bandana is ray's old one that he used to wear before he donned a hoodie :) he gave it to them because he noticed how cold they always were.

🍇 - How did you get introduced to your f/o?

i think i've told this here before, but i've always known about the the existence of the franchise ever since i was a kid, though i never really got into it until recently! my friends at the time were huge fans of the games, so i was always like Oh Hey Cool It's That Limbless Guy. a month or two back i bought most of the games because they were on sale and i decided it was finally time to give them a shot, and, well... i ended up falling HARD 😅

💛 - Do you like the source material your f/o came from? (it's okay if you don't or do!)

YEAH i love the games!!! platformers are my favourite videogame genre so it was only natural that i'd start adoring these games as well!
