I really don't know what's more disturbing:
Regina manipulating the Huntsman as her boytoy by keeping his heart or Zelena disguising herself as Marian and getting pregnant by Robin when he thought he was sleeping with his wife...

The conversation between Maura and The Grey Man about Gansey and Adam is so meta because they’re basically voicing the audience’s perceptions of the characters.
The narrative is framed so all of us think that Gansey is the Main Character: Richard Gansey and his band of merry men (Maura’s pov)
We all assume this, but as you read the series it becomes increasingly clear that Adam Parrish is the Hidden Protagonist of the narrative. His desire, his need, to control his own life permeates the narrative. Adam takes action even when Gansey is afraid to (stopping Whelk, making the sacrifice) and subsequently propels the plot forward.
This is where The Grey Man’s perspective comes in: Adam Parrish and his band of merry men.
I LOVE that he says this because The Grey Man is an incredibly perceptive character, and while him and Adam have little (if any) interactions, he still notices who is really running the show here. He recognizes that Adam is probably a lot like himself: a guy everyone overlooks but with incredible power to make the difficult decisions everyone is afraid to make. And I just love that The Grey Man, in saying this, shows Adam respect and gives him credit where credit is due.
So this little disagreement between Maura and The Grey Man about who REALLY is the Main Character of this story reflects us. We see Gansey as the protagonist, but we also see Adam Parrish fulfill this role as well. Sometimes, it appears that Adam is even MORE of the main character than Gansey (in my opinion).
And the truth is that they’re BOTH main characters just in completely different ways. It’s honestly insane to me that Maggie can have these two widely different character journeys running parallel to each other in the same series, but she does it. And because they’re so different the development of each entangles and clashes with the other in fascinating and volatile ways.
GOD. It’s just so good I feel like I could teach a class about these goddamn books.

The bold Gold Wide Band Ring makes a statement on any finger. It creates delicious contrast in daintier stacks and comes in two widths—4mm and 5mm, so you can pick the perfect size for you. We recommend sizing up a full size, since the fit will be significantly tighter than the fit of a thinner band.

What’s your thoughts on Harry’s friends (xnder, jff, kd, brd, other managers) with who we see he hangs out the most? Do you think they are his only friends? I personally think he really considers most of them his friends and tries to spend time with them but their friendships also feel so insincere.
Hi, anon!
I think it's murky. I think H doesn’t have many real close friends, who are friends with him for the right reasons. I think he's got a handful of childhood friends (for example Johnny and Ellis), and i think he's got people who he's become familiar with due to work or having to spend a lot of time around them (the ones you mentioned). I think he's mostly too busy to make many new real friends, friends who likes him for more than his fame and his connections. I think Harry connects easily with almost anybody, but it's not deep friendship. I think his best friend is Louis and he takes up most of his time and attention.
I think Tomo Campbell, Cal Aurand, Nick Grimshaw (despite the pr deal) and Matt Irwin might be examples of real friendship he's made while famous. Despite our dislike i think he's close to Ben W*nston and JC too, but i see them both dumping him as soon as he's not beneficial to them anymore. Many of the people H hangs around are just not great people. They are blowing smoke up his ass for their own benefit. It's sad.
I hope he's keeping work and friendship seperate. He's their employer first and formost and they work for him. They are work colleagues and there shouldn't be an even power balance between them like there should be in a friendship. He shouldn't treat them as such either, or he'll get taken advantage of and they'll get lazy. I would love for him to make new real friends outside the merry band of yes men as i call them. I think it's hard for Harry to find the time, and to trust people enough that they are befriending him for the right reasons. I do think he's too close to his employees in many ways that is not good. But since he's a person full of secrets them being under NDAs and familiar to him must be part of the reason why he's friends with them. I hope he sees the friendships for what they are though. We can only hope.

after they get Eddie to the hospital just in time to save him from the bat bites he actually ends up in a coma for a little bit (him and Max bond over that once they’re both fully recovered because of course they’ll be fine what you talking about) and OBVIOUSLY king Uncle Wayne rushes over to the hospital once this random Wheeler girl tells him that’s where Eddie is and he sits with him and that’s how Wayne meets the most random collection of people ever
Steve Harrington (who Wayne almost refuses to believe is related to Richard because this kid is nothing like his parents) and Dustin Henderson stay practically glued to Eddie’s side, random kids that are apparently in Hellfire and some that aren’t drift in between Eddie’s room and the Mayfield girl’s across the hall, some kids from Eddie’s year (this current one) also come in to join Steve and even the undead Police Chief (??!) and his band of merry men occasionally pop in even though Wayne is pretty sure Hopper is the only one who has ever met Eddie and the less said about that the better
but goddammit Wayne likes them all, firstly because they saved his boy but once he’d started to chat to them it was impossible to dislike them, he’s especially partial to Steve, who he can chat to about sports which he’s never been able to really do with Eddie and maybe it’s because he’s spent the most time with him one on one, Robin because he recognises something in her (and maybe Steve but he isn’t sure) that he sees and knows is in Eddie, Dustin for obvious reason and little Erica Sinclair has wedged her way into a soft spot after she verbally tore into a nurse who seemed to believe the allegations even after they were cleared
Eddie wakes up to Wayne and Steve quietly chatting and he’s beyond confused to see them sat together but he’s grateful to not be alone, he clings to each of their hands, anchoring himself before he slips back into sleep and happy that the man who may as well be his dad hasn’t abandoned him
once he wakes up on one of those first few days and his Uncle had been there when he fell asleep but now he’s not but he is surrounded by pretty much the entire Hawkins gang, he slurs out a ‘wher’s Ucl Wyn’ and Erica looks him directly in the eye and says ‘OUR Uncle Wayne has gone to get some coffee with Steve’ and the others just nod and it seems that alongside Eddie they’ve also adopted his Uncle Wayne into their weird little cult, Eddie falls back asleep with a content little smile on his face as Erica grips his hand in her small one

*Yes, Tucker (right) is also a part of the Merry Men. However, he is a named character and has his own wiki page, so I’m making these characters separate.
