In the Mountains Shadow

In the late afternoon hours, there was no peace to be found—not for her.
The feeling had come from nowhere, starting so small that she hadn't even noticed it before it crashed against the shore of her emotions, where it shattered into a thousand pieces, and infected her blood. If she could, she'd pull the blood from her veins to stop the feeling.
She was breathing in shallow gasps as she stared at that mountain of death—its shadow looming over her, blocking out the sun until she felt swallowed by darkness. She clutched the handle of the rover to ground herself; her fingers wound so tightly around it that they ached; and her legs wobbled and threatened to give out.
It was getting harder to breathe. It felt like someone had punched her in the chest, grabbed her heart, and squeezed the air from her lungs. Why had she agreed to come back? She never wanted to see this place again, not after...
She gasped loudly and suddenly.
The memories assaulted her all at once, without warning or mercy. The humming of the drill replayed in her ears, a haunting melody that accompanied her torment. Pain scored through her limbs, radiating from the scars on her thighs. Screams echoed around her—Raven's, Abby's, and her own. She could hear Marcus begging and pleading with Cage to stop, insisting that they would donate their bone marrow.
Her stomach twisted into knots, threatening to bring her breakfast up and dump it on the ground right there beside the rover. Waterfall tears fell from her eyes, streaking down her cheeks, leaving her vision blurred. Her body shuddered as a sob welled up in her chest.
"Bellamy..."
Her voice was impossibly soft, so full of fear as the memories of her time inside the mountain continued their relentless assault. She reached out blindly for him, needing something real and warm to hold onto—someone to ground her in the storm that was threatening to undo her. "I don't think I can do this."
She hated this place; no, that was too kind of a word. She loathed this place with every fibre of her being and with every beat of her broken heart.
The mountain was filled with so much needless death—not only the mountain men and grounders but their own as well. Another sob spewed from her trembling lips—the sound gut-wrenching, cutting the dark-haired man to the core—as she remembered being trapped on level five while guards took her friends one by one. They had fought. They had screamed. They had run. None of it mattered in the end.
She remembered Fox's face when they'd found her after everything had been said and done. The blank look in her eyes, the blood dripping from her mouth, the expression etched upon her features, forever frozen in time.
"Oh god."
And then he was there.
Strong hands grabbed her shoulders and dragged her into the shelter of his body, where she buried her face against his chest, hiding from the world just as she'd done when he found her wandering the halls of the mountain. He felt her ball his shirt in her trembling hands, the material being pulled taunt across his back as her tears soaked the front. Bellamy held her tightly as the tears shuddered through her body. He wanted to cry with her, to break down and be weak, but he couldn't.
They had all been broken by the mountain, left tired and scared, but he couldn't break down. He had to be strong when the delinquents couldn't be; he'd bear it so that they didn't have to.
PTSD ran wild through the survivors of the one hundred, all forty-eight of them, and no amount of talking or time would help. Sure, their wounds would heal and scar, but the psychological trauma—the torment—would remain with them every day until they died. None of them would be okay again.
"She doesn't have to go," Bellamy said, his voice gentle as he patted her head, running his fingers through her hair in a soothing gesture. She didn't have to do this, and he wouldn't make her; he wouldn't let anyone make her.
There was a very strong loyalty that Bellamy felt for the delinquents in particular. He had a great deal to make up for, and going into Mount Weather to save them barely covered it. He would go in again, alone; he could find the things that would make their lives on post-apocalyptic-and-current-apocalyptic earth more comfortable.
Her breath was wild and erratic, impossible to catch. Inside, her lungs were burning, desperate for air, as she sobbed and hyperventilated against his chest. She clung to him without shame, her arms wrapped around his torso. He was the only thing that kept her grounded when the trauma threatened to consume her. "I can't, Bell, I can't." She repeated the words, babbling mindlessly.
She remembered how peaceful the mountain had seemed and how utterly perfect it was—a paradise found in a world trying to destroy them. She had loved being inside Mount Weather. All the history at her fingertips, real food, a soft bed, and books!
There had been so many books.
It was home.
Until Clarke pointed out the flaws and inconsistencies, and then the bubble burst. The mountain men's secrecy had come to light, and the superficial charm of Cage Wallace had peeled away like a snake's skin. She remembered Clarke escaping and how hopeless she'd felt while still trapped inside. But most of all, she remembered the feeling of the cuffs around her wrists and ankles—how her skin had been rubbed raw, cut open, and her bones drilled into.
She had been left devastated. Even the whirring of a power tool at Camp Jaha would send her into a panic. There was no concern that she was appearing weak in front of Bellamy. There was only a fear that she might not escape the mountain alive this time.
Bellamy waved for the others to go on ahead, ignoring their concerned stares. When one of them took a tentative step forward, his arms tightened around her, iron bands of muscle pressing her into his body. Above her, he shook his head, silently telling them not to look or touch.
He knew her; he saw her.
And he knew that comfort from anyone else, especially one of the adults that had been responsible for sending one hundred children to earth, would only break the little resolve she was holding onto. So Bellamy held her as she cried; he let her bury her face against his chest and hide from the world. And when her legs gave out, he went to the ground with her, and he held her still.
"I promise you're not alone," he whispered, his lips pressed against the crown of her head, his own heart breaking. He pulled her closer, held her tighter. "You'll never be alone again."

Bellamy Blake’s pov
"This place is so shitty," I said as Murphy and I stepped through the overgrown woods. We've been here for let's say, 6 months, and I've never felt more used in my life. Now that the 100 of us helped the rest of the people on the ark, we can work to reduce our time away.
To top off us being enslaved, we must deal with these people we call grounders. They’re violent and dirty, and think they own the place.
“Better watch what you say before y/n hears you,” Murphy joked, making me scoff. Y/n’s the leader of these grounders and she’s a real pain in the ass. She’s always arguing and demanding things. They also protect her and do whatever she tells them to do.
“Or what? Is she gonna stab me? We have guns and I don’t think they have treatment for that,” I said as Murphy shook his head. “I don’t understand why you don’t like her. She’s cool,” Murphy said.
I rolled my eyes and stopped, annoyed that people kept saying the same thing to me. I don’t get what they see in her. She’s violent, dirty, and has the worst attitude you could possibly think of.
“She’s not cool, she’s just some girl that thinks she has a say in everything,” I said. “First of all, that girl is 20, and second, she does have the day of everything. At least around here she does, and we choose to follow them since we landed in their territory,” Murphy said.
“And if you have a problem with that, you can barge into wherever she lives, and argue with her. Hell, fight if you need. Anything to shut you up about her at this point,” he said.
“Whatever man,” I said then kept walking, trying not to stay here all day and argue about how much I despise y/n. It just pisses me off how many people tolerate her.
“You’re not gonna stop me, so save your talking,” I said to Murphy before pushing past him and a few other friends. I’ve had enough of y/n and her demands.
I walked through the overgrown forest, stumbling over sticks and rocks, thinking about if fighting y/n is the best idea.
She’s the best warrior they say and she shows absolutely no mercy. Even if I were to beat her, her people would kill me for making her surrender. I’ll have to get her alone.
As I thought of things to do, I made my way through the forest until I was finally at the grounds of the grounders. They know me, so they let me in easily which was a big mistake.
“Y/n?” I asked the guards of this small village y/n’s always at. They nodded their heads then turned around to walk towards, where I guess, y/n is.
“Y/n!” One said as we walked upon y/n reading a book that my people gave to her, to little kids. They seemed happy and like they were having fun. I think this is my first time ever seeing her smile.
“What did you come here for?” She asked. She always seems like she has a tone with me. Only me. “Oh, nothing. Just wanted to walk and talk. Only for 10 minutes or so,” I lied. I have to get her away from the guards.
“Now you know I can’t do that. They always follow me. Where ever I go,” y/n said as I sighed. “I know, but, maybe they’ll make an acceptance this one time. Please,” I begged as she tilted her head.
Y/n got up and walked toward me and the guards. She said something in her language that I still haven’t learned yet, then walked passed me. “10 minutes,” she said.
“So what did you actually bring me out here for?” Y/n asked as she finally stopped somewhere a bit far from the village. “I was thinking we could fight,” I said.
“Fight?” She chuckled. “Pathetic,” she added. “What’s pathetic is that you need a whole army to fight for you,” I argued. “That’s just how we work,” she replied.
“What do you wish to fight for?” She asked, making me smirk. “If I win, you stop this boss act and I get to show people that you’re not as strong as you make yourself to me,” I said.
“And if I lose, you can keep your little act going and I’ll be very, very embarrassing,” I said as she rolled her eyes, holding back a laugh I wanted to slap away from her.
“Bet,” she said, a new word that she got from our kind as she jumped off of the log she was standing on and attacked me. I was almost unprepared but moved out of the way fast enough and kicked her back.
“Good reflexes. But not good enough,” she said as she turned and kicked my legs, causing me to fall to the ground. “Fuck,” I groaned then quickly rolled over as she was about to kick my face.
“Fighting dirty, huh?” I asked as I got up. “Nah, just want to get this over with,” she said before running towards me. She’s always been an attacker which is hard to fight against since she always makes the first move.
“Already tried?” She asked, looking down at me after giving me the worst blow to my stomach. I hate her but I won’t ever doubt again that she’s a good-ass fighter. “Nah,” I said, about to kick her legs to make her collapse but I heard a gunshot.
I quickly looked around as I stayed on the floor, hoping to see anyone but I can’t. “Y/n, get down!” I yelled-whispered because she still standing like she was in shock. She can’t be in shock right now.
“Y/n!” I yelled. She slowly looked down as her hands lifted up towards her stomach. “Did your people use their weapon on me?” She asked slowly as she pulled her hand away from her stomach showing blood.
“Ah, shit!” I said as she dropped to the floor. “No, no, y/n, you have to get up! Y-You can’t be out here. Shit! Fuck, uh, fuck. Y/n, get up!” I said as I tried picking her up, but another shot was fired but don’t hit us thankfully.
“Hood your fire dumb fucks! I made her fight me!” I yelled out so my people can stop this madness. They just fucked up our stay here. Her people will never forgive us for this.
“Bellamy, am I dying?” She asked, sounding like she was about to pass out. “Shit! No, no, you’re not dying. Just- Just stay still and hold this down,” I said as I took my shirt off, and lifted her ripped-up shirt to press down on her wound so she won’t bleed out.
“Guys, stop it! She needs medical assistance!” I yelled back as I saw her trying to break correctly and keep eye contact with me. She still seems fearless. How could I do this to her? What did I do?
“Don’t worry, she’ll get it,” an unfamiliar voice said. “But that won’t be needed for long,” they added. I looked around until my eyes landed on people in a has max suits and a dude without one. Everyone had a gun.
“W-Who are you?” I asked as I kept trying to push down on her wound. “We’ll get to talking once we get what I need,” he said then snapped his fingers. That’s when the people started making their way towards us. Towards her.
“What? No. No, back away! Back up!” I yelled but they didn’t listen. “No! No!” I yelled as two people pulled me away. “Don’t you fucking touch her!” I yelled, making the dude without a suit on, chuckling to himself.
As one guy went to pick y/n up, she lifted her arm and stabbed the dude in his neck causing him to fall back and bleed out.
“Get her now! We don’t have time for this!” The man said. That’s when a few people attacked her, taking her weapons and then dragging her away. They’re manhandling her while she’s screaming in pain.
“No, no! Help! Help us!” I yelled, hoping one of her people followed us so they wouldn’t completely have no eyes on her but they actually trusted me. Fuck. I kept repeating my yells until something knocked me on the side of my head.
“What is this shit!?” I yelled at the man as he threw y/n on her stomach, onto this medical chair and then strapped her down. They didn’t even patch up her wounds. She’s bleeding out and groaning in pain.
“I can see you’re not too happy. I assumed because of how you guys fought, you didn’t like each other but I see otherwise now,” he said as one sergeant pulled out some big needle that I’ve never seen in my life.
“What the- Hey! Hey, get away from her! What is that!?” I asked the man as he took a deep breath, about to tell me the most inhumane thing I’ve ever heard of.
“That needle you see is what we use to subtract bone marrow from the grounders who’ve been able to breathe on earth for hundreds of years,” he said as he sat in front of me after a guard placed a chair down.
“You see, my people can’t survive the outside but they can. People like you can too which is surprising,” he said. “We’ve been studying you guys and we finally got one of you which will help another few of my people,” he added.
“What? You’re gonna- You’re gonna fucking- No, let me go! L-Let her go! I swear to god-“ I went to say but he cut me off. “What will you possibly do?” He asked then snapped his fingers. Seconds later, his guards took me away as I yelled and demanded them to let me go but they wouldn’t listen.
Maybe an hour went by since the guards threw me into this clean and well-kept-up room. I’ve been thinking of ways to kill this man and escape. We can’t stay here.
As I was about to start my banging on the door that I’ve been doing every 10 minutes, the door swung open to two guards dragging y/n into the room by her arms.
She looked dead. My heart skipped a beat until I noticed she was alive by her whimpers. They patched her up but her blood is still leaking through her bandage.
“Here,” a third guest said as he walked through the doors and threw a medical bag at me. “Fix her up, would ya?” He said then walked out with the other two after they dropped y/n on the floor.
“Shit, y/n?” I said as I grabbed the medical bag and sped over to her. “Mhm?” She asked as I began to work on her. First I cleaned her up while keeping a conversation with her so she won’t fall asleep.
“I need you to keep talking to me, okay baby? Keep talking,” I said after watching her eyes get heavy. “Hurts,” she said right before slipping away and passing out.
“Y/n? No, y/n, stay up!” I said as I fastened my process before she looses too much blood. I’d she dies, I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself. I made her go out, far from her guards to fight her.
I’ve always said that if I had the chance to kill her, I would but that’s a lie. Just a big fucking lie. I can’t do that to her. She’s one of the kindest, most responsible, and most thoughtful people I’ve met. I really fucked up…
“Guess I didn’t die,” I heard y/n say as she leaned up on the bed I laid her on. “Yeah, I guess,” I said as I quickly got up and walked to the side of the bed. “Hey, hey, chill out,” I said as I leaned her back to check her wound.
“Why are you carrying for me? Didn’t you want to fight me? Maybe even kill me?” She asked after slapping my hand away from her. “Hey!” I slightly shouted as I grabbed her wrist. She tried tugging away but I tugged back to get her to stop.
“Listen! You’re hurt and your people would probably kill me and think I shot you if they find your lifeless body bled out,” I said then pushed her wrist away and went back to slowly pull the big patch I placed on her.
“It sent Straight through so that’s good. I didn’t know until I started patching you up. You’ll heal within a few months but it takes a good year to get back to your normal self,” I said. “A year!?” She yelled.
“Chill, okay? I’ll take care of you and shit,” I said, making her laugh. “You? Take care of me? Yeah, it’s hard to feel comfortable around someone who got me in this situation!” She yelled at me.
“I didn’t mean to get you shot! I just want to put you in your place and-“ I tried finishing. “Put me in my place? And what is that? Ruin what I and my people had going on for hundreds of years. We were doing good with and without you,” she said.
“You need us,” I said as I leaned over her to intimidate her but she leaned up. I can tell that she was in pain but she kept a straight face because that’s who she is. She’s strong. That’s what I like about her…
“You don’t scare me, Mr. Blake, so don’t lean into my face and not do anything about-“She went to get aggressive but I cut her off by smashing my lips onto hers. She instantly stops talking. My eyes are shut but I can tell she’s looking at me with wide shocked eyes.
I slowly lifted my hand up to place my hand on her cheek but she quickly gripped my wrist, stopping me. I kept my hand up, not giving up until she slowly let my wrist go, allowing me to place my hand on her face.
Now she’s kissing me back and I can’t tell she’s probably never kissed anyone. She’s not bad or anything, but she’s flinching at new things I do like moving my tongue, she’s breathing heavily, and seems very needy.
“You done being mad at me now?” I asked as she kept her lips on mine, kissing me in want. “Shut up and kiss me,” she said as she pulled my face into hers. I did. as told and pushed her down on the bed and hovered over her.
Her small whines are the most beautiful thing I’ve heard. I love how needy, whiny, and sloppy she kisses me. How could I be so mean to someone like her? She’s perfect.
Minutes into making out with her, I went to trace my hand down to her lower body but someone started punching in codes. I quickly got off of her as she quickly leaned up, snapping out of what we were doing.
“Stay back,” I said as I got in front of the bed to cover her and defend her if they try grabbing and experimenting on her again until the door opened to Clarke. “Bell,” she said under her breath as she sped over to me and jumped into my arms.
“I thought I lost you. We thought you ran away,” she said as I placed her down, not really comfortable with her wrapping her legs around me, right after I just got through making out with y/n.
“No, no, I was just out with y/n and then these people fucking-“ I went to say but she cut me off. “What were you doing with y/n alone? How did you even get her alone without her guards?” Clarke asked like she was upset.
“That’s not the issue right now. The issue is, is that she got shot and they didn’t give her proper treatment,” I said as I walked over to y/n to show Clarke what I’m talking about.
She walked over, seeming like she didn’t really care. “I tried my best but it’s not enough,” I said. “You touch her? Aren’t you like not allowed to? She barely had a shirt on,” Clarke said, focusing on the wrong things.
“Well if I didn’t, she would have bled out, Clarke,” I said with a tone, pissed off that she’s so worried about how I’m taking care of y/n like me and her are dating. Clarke is just another girl to me. Nothing else.
“Where’s the rest?” I asked Clarke so we could end this conversation that was going absolutely nowhere. “Making sure the guards don’t try attacking the people helping the people that are caged up,” she said. They caged people here?
“They’ll explain to you. Let’s go,” she said, trying to pull me with her but I yanked my hand away. “We have to take y/n,” I said as I looked at her with a disappointed look.
“She says she’s strong right? She can get up and get home herself,” Clarke said. “Nah, I think you can,” I said, causing Clarke’s eyes to widen. “You should go,” I said then began to help y/n get up.
Clarke stormed out as I paid no mind to whatever she was fussing about. “You should have told me you had a partner,” y/n said. “She’s not,” I replied. “Doesn’t seem like it,” she said as she backed up from me.
“I can walk myself,” she said then began walking. “Wait, y/n, it’s not what you think, okay? She’s into me. I’m not into her,” I explained. “But she still felt comfortable saying those things about me. You’re clearly showing her something,” she said as she limped out of the room.
I stayed silent and still in the room, cussing myself out that I had something with Clarke. She just fucked up what I and y/n could have probably had. I should have known she’d be like this.
Before I even pressed my lips onto hers, I thought about how all the women would feel about me and y/n being a thing. Clarke was the first to come to mind since she’s the more jealous type. The others have other people so they don’t need me.
SKIP SEVERAL MONTHS
3rd persons pov
It’s been months since y/n’s been shot and she’s doing pretty well. She still works out, trains, and talks to Bellamy but she never dares to speak about what happened between them in that room.
She respected Clarke and Bellamy’s non-realistic relationship and Bellamy respect how angry she was at him. He understood how uncomfortable she could have felt in that situation once Clarke started acting a certain way toward her for no reason.
Bellamy still tried to make small moves but it never really goes anywhere. They haven’t kissed each other since that day. The furthest it’s gone is touched around her clothing to ease her into him but she can’t forget how he made out with her and seconds later, Clarke came in like they’ve been dating for years.
Today’s y/n’s birthday and Bellamy just found out that the grounders don’t celebrate birthdays since they use to lose track of times before the sky people came down.
Bellamy is currently in y/n's room, decorating the place with old birthday decorations he found around the place. They had moved into the mountain men’s home after every one of them fled with suits to go someplace else, scared that the sky people and grounders would come after them for murder.
“She’s back from hunting in a few minutes,” Murphy said as he walked into the room. “Good, and her guards won’t be sticking their noses around, right?” Bellamy asked. “Nope, so you’re good,” he said.
“You really like her, huh? What happened?” He asked as he looked around the room, seeing how much work Bellamy put into it. bellamy was the one to even set up her furniture when they moved in a few months ago.
“I don’t know. It’s like, right after she got shot, I noticed that I’d missed something about her a little too much,” Bellamy said as he sat down on y/n's bed and looked down at the ground.
“I knew you didn’t hate her. It’s easy to tell,” Murphy said. “I read this book that was published back in 2023 and they said that people tend to get more annoyed about people that care about. That’s you to y/n,” Murphy said which is definitely true.
“She’s here!” Monty and Jasper yelled through Murphy’s Walkie-Talkie. “Good luck and don’t be you please,” Murphy joked as he made his way out of the room.
Bellamy chuckled as he got up and walked to the corner of her room so that y/n wouldn't see him when she first walks in. He wants to see her reaction. He loves watching her smile.
“Why is my door open!?” Y/n yelled throughout the hallways. Dammit Murphy. “Hello?” Y/n asked before peaking around the corner to the surprise in her room.
“Oh,” she said confused but slightly amazed. She’s never seen decorations like this before. “Who did this,” she said under he breathe as she took a step into her room with a smile on her face. Just what Bellamy wanted to see. He's never seen her smile this bright.
“I knew you’d like it,” Bellamy said, making her jump a little. “Bellamy!” She shouted then covered her mouth. “You like it, right?” He asked as he slowly walked towards her. “Yes, I actually do,” she said. You could see her blushing.
“Good, because it took me a couple of hours to find everything and put it up,” He smiled down at her. “Thank you,” she said as she began to scan the place and walk around. He can tell she really loves it.
“You know, y/n. I’ve been thinking. A lot. I know we use to be enemies-“ Bellamy said but she cut me off. “You use to be mine. I never hated you but go on,” she joked.
“Yes, yes, I know,” He chuckled. “But after that day in the room, I felt something. I’ve always felt it but it never came out until then. That’s the day I couldn’t force being angry at you or having some type of hatred towards you,” Bellamy said as she turned around and he walked towards her.
“Y/n, I really like you and I’m sorry Clarke said those things about you but I don’t like her. I don’t see anything with her. But I do see something with you,” Bellamy said. He softly grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes.
“So, could we please start over? Start something with each other?” I asked. “Bellamy…” she said as she pulled her hands back. “I can’t. You and Clarke have known each other for a while. I think she’s best for you,” she said.
“But I don’t want her. I don’t feel anything for,” Bellamy said as y/n shook her head with a chuckle. “She still talks about you. She’s obsessed and loves you,” y/n said.
“She doesn’t love me. She just hates the fact that I love you and now her. I’ve never loved her. I barely ever liked her,” Bellamy said making y/n shake her head.
“Yeah, that’s not what she keeps saying. Apparently, you guys have been secretly dating for years and still sneak around at night in your room or go off somewhere where no one will see you,” y/n said, making Bellamy’s blood boil.
“And who the fuck has she been saying this shit to?” Bellamy asked. “Me, Monty, Jasper, and maybe a few other girls,” Y/n said. “Well, that shit isn’t true. She just wants you away from me, that’s all,” Bellamy said, trying to softly grab y/n hands again but she backed up towards her bed.
“Look, we can’t work out, okay? It’s not going to happen,” she said. “Why? Why can’t it work?” Bellamy asked with a tone, getting tired of excuses and other people getting in the way between him and her.
“Because Bellamy! I don’t want you! You’re too different from me,” she said. “What are you talking about? No one who’s together is exactly the same, y/n,” Bellamy said as he stepped towards her.
“You’re not for me, Bellamy so just- Just leave, Bellamy,” y/n said but he didn’t listen. “Y/n, you’re perfect for me. I love how different you are,” Bellamy said as he went to grab her waist slowly but she slapped his hands away, shocking him.
Y/n walked passed Bellamy to get out of his face since he won’t get out of hers but he quickly grabbed her from the back and pulled her away from the door.
“Let me go!” Y/n yelled at Bellamy. Bellamy threw y/n on the bed and then quickly ran over to her door, shutting and locking the door so that she’ll listen and stay where he wants her at. With him.
“Bellamy, what are you doing?” Y/n asked, annoyed that he can’t just leave her alone. Why does he fight so much for her? Why does someone like her so much? She’s not someone who’s likable like this.
“I’m here to show you love, y/n. I fucking love you and you know that. That’s why you’re pushing me away. You think you’re gonna hurt me or some crazy shit but you’re not. What’s going to hurt me, is if you don’t accept me and love me back. I know you like my touch and presence,” Bellamy said as he made his way toward her.
“No, no, no! No, Bellamy! I-l don’t love you! I don’t!” Y/n yelled at him as she rushed her hands through her hair and rubbed her face, stressed that this is happening. She can’t run like usual. He’s got her trapped.
“Stop lying, y/n. It’s getting annoying and makes you look more pathetic,” Bellamy said, getting angry. “Pathetic!? You’re pathetic! You have to trap a woman in a room to force her to love you,” y/n said.
“I don’t have to force shit, and you know that. You fucking know it, so stop lying!” Bellamy growled at her as he grabbed her wrist tightly. “I’m tired of you fucking lying and denying. Admit it. Admit it now!” He yelled in her face, shocking her.
“No,” she firmly said, hating the dominance someone like him can show over her. She’s never felt any kind of dominance against her but from Bellamy. She can’t seem to function right with him talking to her like this.
“Get on the bed,” he demanded after letting her hand go, giving her a chance to listen. “No,” she said, once again with a tone, trying to stand her ground until Bellamy picked her up and threw her on her bed.
Bellamy kept his silence as y/n began to yell at him. He didn’t care. He wanted to shut her for once and make her submit. He wants to get rid of the lies and excuses.
“Bellamy, what are you doing!?” Y/n finally asked after noticing Bellamy’s shirt off. She’s never seen Bellamy with his shirt off. She’s seen his built-under wet clothes hut never more. This is a lot for her.
“You like the clothes I gave you in a box? They’re perfect for you,” Bellamy said, making y/n think. Murphy, Monty, and Jasper said that they gave y/n the box so she’d have the best up-kept clothes since she’s the leader of her people. Now she’s finding out Bellamy chose them all.
That explains the revealing parts, her panties, and bra that seemed a bit too pretty for Monty, Jasper, and especially Murphy to pick out for her. She knew they’d never do that.
“Y-You picked these out?” She asked, knowing the answer already. “Of course I did. Otherwise, I’d have a talk with Murphy about what he picked out for you,” Bellamy smirked at y/n as he slowly climbed onto the bed.
“Now will you finally let me taste you? I bet you’re sweet as a fresh berry,” Bellamy said as he tugged on y/n shorts. She tried slapping at his hands but she’s not really fighting him like she should be.
“Look at that… You look so cute in these tiny little panties,” Bellamy said after getting her shorts off. She tried covering herself up but it was not enough. Bellamy laughed at her attempt as he began to pull her panties down, so focused on what he’s been dying to see.
“Fuck, you’re wetter than I could’ve imagined,” he said under his breath. She had shaved today in the shower for the first time ever. She grew up thinking shaving wasn’t even a thing until Bellamy’s sister gave her something for her birthday.
“No one’s ever touched you here, haven’t they? Tell me I’m the first, baby, and I’ll treat so you right. Better than your people. I’ll worship you more than anyone else can, baby,” Bellamy said, becoming full of lust by the second.
“Bellamy, I can’t,” y/n has snapped out of what felt like a dream, angering Bellamy. “I’m tired of this shit,” he said as he quickly parted y/n’s legs and dived in without warning, lapping his tongue around her floss and clit faster than she could blink.
“Bellamy!” Y/n moaned loudly at the foreigner feeling. She’s never touched herself in any type of way down there so everything she’s feeling feels too great for her. She’s too sensitive.
“P-Please, Bellamy! Oh my!” She cried out, feeling her nerves hit her and her clit swell up. Bellamy began to suck any and everything he could reach. She grew wet, only making Bellamy eat her out sloppier.
“I-I-I can’t Bellamy! I can’t!” She kept crying and shaking as she felt her stomach tighten. She’s never felt this before. She thinks she’s about to pee on Bellamy’s face but Bellamy knows he’s about to take the sweetest thing he could possibly taste.
“Cum in my mouth, baby,” Bellamy said, and right after, y/n released all over his mouth and chest as she shook and rolled her eyes back. The moan she let out felt like music to Bellamy’s ears. He’s never heard of anyone so beautiful before.
Bellamy backed away and hovered over y/n watching her eyes shut and her body shiver from the new feeling she just received.
Bellamy began to take his jeans off as y/n lay there a whining mess, not being able to shake off the orgasm she just had.
“Work with me and I’ll go slow. Resist and I’ll put you in your place, princess,” Bellamy said as she slowly moved in between y/n’s legs, triggering her kind as she felt his bare skin. Her eyes widen in shock at his size.
“B-Bellamy, what are you doing? What is this? What is that?” Y/n asked, feeling a bit scared even though she knows Bellamy would never hurt her in any kind of way.
“It’s yours, princess, and the only right thing to do with it is to get to know it and soak it with your heavenly sent sweet juice,” Bellamy said as he brushed his tip against her entrance to watch her jump a little.
“Let’s see who’ll win this fight,” Bellamy said right before pushing balls deep into her cunt as she screamed and scratched at his chest and abs, feeling the pain but pleasure.
“N-No, this is too much!” She whined as she tried pushing away from Bellamy but he’s not waiting any longer. Bellamy gripped y/n’s neck, placed his hand next to her ok the bed to keep himself up, and began to thrust.
“Bellamy, Bellamy! Fuck, please! Please, Bell,” y/n moaned loudly, surprised at her language and the nickname she called him. “What’s wrong baby? You can finally not take something?” He laughed in her face.
“You’ve been stabbed, shot, thrown off of hills I heard and you can’t take a cock?” Bellamy teased as he sped his thrust. “You can’t take a simple fucking cock, but you can take all of this other shit!?” He shouted at her.
“You’re so pathetic,” growled in her face as her eyes rolled back and her moans got trapped by his tighter grip around her neck. “And you’re about to cum? Didn’t know you were a little slut to degrading, with the title you hold,” Bellamy chuckled as she squeezed his cock.
“I-I’m not,” she whined, which broke into a moan as she came around Bellamy’s thick cock. “Fuck, yes. Cum on my fucking cock and I might treat you better when I fuck your little body,” Bellamy grinned down at her.
“Bellamy,” y/n moaned as she softly grabbed his face and fucked up onto him. Oh, you’re horny? You like it, huh?” Bellamy asked, very surprised that she’s feel comfy with this so fast.
“Y-Yes, I like it,” she whined. Y/n tried pushing Bellamy to the side but he was too strong. He watched her struggle until he let her overpower him and climb onto him.
“Oh, shit,” Bellamy said shocked as y/n grabbed his cock and lined herself up to her own entrance until she dropped down on him with a loud moan. “Fuuuucck!” Bellamy bucked his knees.
“So sexy,” Bellamy growled as he pulled y/n’s shirt and bra off. “Ride me, baby,” Bellamy said. Y/n didn’t waste any time to start. The moans leaving her mouth were nonstop. Her rhythm is as well.
“You ride so good baby. All of that adrenaline in this sexy little body, coming to life,” Bellamy wrapped his large hands around her waist to help her. He gave her ass some smacks here and there, only making her sex drive higher.
“Never knew your tits were so beautiful,” Bellamy grabbed one for a few seconds then began to pinch her nipple to give y/n a better feeling. “Bell,” she moaned as she leaned down in his face.
“Right there,” he said, feeling his orgasm right around the corner. She stuffed his mouth with y/n’s free nipple and began sucking, only having her cum for the 3rd time with a wilder shake.
She still tried to ride him but soon stopped as Bellamy held her down with one of his hands on her waist. Bellamy groaned loudly as he released a big load into y/n. He’s never shaken before. But this time it felt too good to hold still.
Both pulled each other closer together as they rode out their orgasm together.
After cleaning each other up and talking about what the two should do further, they decided to officially be something.
Y/n had to explain to Bellamy that if she were to date someone, within a month, they’ll have to do a traditional marriage because of her title of the leader.
Bellamy couldn’t have had better news said to him. It was one thing for him to be her boyfriend but officially making her his is something he thought he’d have to wait years for. No, he doesn’t.
Y/n and Bellamy lived life to be the best couple anyone could have imagined. They’ve grown both of their people closer and helped generations of people understand that no one is truly your enemy unless you make them out to be.

jealousy jealousy
the 100 [ john murphy x reader ]
Tumblr media
type: ig angst but it’s not well written enough to ‘hit’
tropes: jealousy, roommates, unspoken but accepted love, best friends to lovers
warnings: violence ( knife fight ), mentions of murder
in which wells jaha is getting help by the only person willing to be around him, who just so happens to john murphy’s unofficial girlfriend, who then has to deal with his idiotic jealousy.
a/n: hii, i’m back! this is based on a request i really really liked but i’m not happy with what i actually wrote so i hope it’s okay to read. i kinda ignored how much of a psychopath murphy was in the first season cause i really couldn’t have justified his actions otherwise and the whole jealousy part wouldn’t have been entertaining AT ALL. so yea, i was struggling a bit ( whilst also blatantly ignoring the timeline, ignore anything that doesn’t match the canon timeline of s1 pls ), but at least i tried right🫣 no pronouns
w.c.: 2040
yours and murphy's relationship was a rather unclear, but at the same time simple one. you weren't officially dating, but during your time on the ark, when you were locked up in your shared cell, where you also met, you definitely did some inappropriate stuff; stuff that friends don't do.
your cell was also the place where the two of you bonded, becoming really really close rather quickly. although he was a very aggressive and irritating person to be around at first, you got used to it and soon he became your favourite person to be around.
now, after months of being roommates and part time lovers, you were finally on the ground, something you'd dreamed of since you first learned about it and therefore were keen on securing your survival. murphy on the other hand, got so bad that even you couldn't deny the fact he was a total asshole and if you didn't know he would never hurt you, you'd be way too scared to share a tent with him, especially alone.
you didn't actively distance yourself but after watching him bully wells, the chancellor's son, countless times for his father's actions, you kind of naturally looked for ways to make some new friends. and as if the universe hated john murphy, you seemed to work really well with wells.
everytime murphy saw you talk or walk around with wells, which honestly happened quite a lot, it fueled his hatred against home even more and made him want to stay away from you too.
you didn't mind not being associated with the provocative behaviour of john murphy and the way he tyrannized the other delinquents, however, it was a very different story when it came to going to bed and waiting for him until you physically couldn't keep your eyes open any longer, leading to you and him barely ever meeting and getting a chance to talk, despite sharing a tent.
yes, murphy was an asshole, that was totally not up for debate, BUT he was also the cell mate you had for the past few months; one who you loved deeply.
you were sitting by the dropship, wells next to you, watching your hands closely.
"see, it's really important that you wrap everything tightly, like super tight, since you don't want your arrow to fall apart in the air, alright?", you explained and made sure he understood. you were teaching him how to make an arrow from scratch and although you weren't an earth skills expert, you definitely knew more than wells, who didn't get the chance to attend earth skills class back on the ark. and you could probably count the people who at least tolerated wells on one hand, you included.
"okay and, sorry", he paused, scrunching his nose and forehead as he stared at the arrow-to-be in front of him, "how do i make sure the tip is sharp and everything? i just don't get it, sorry. i don't wanna waste your time y/n.”
you smiled, appreciating his consideration, but clearly declining his indirect offer for you to do something else. there wasn't anything else for you to do and he also wasn't wasting your time, he was just learning and you really liked teaching him; it helped you understand better as well.
"wells, c'mon. i'm choosing to be here, you didn't force me and i don't think it would be okay to produce less arrows, that literally get us food, just cause i'm bored of you", you said, smiling at him, "not.. not that i am bored of you, but you know what i mean!"
he grinned before nodding. honestly, there wasn't anything wrong with wells at all and you truly didn't understand how your fellow delinquents could treat him they way they did. especially murphy.
speaking of the devil, murphy was brutally staring at you and oh boy was he jealous.
he didn’t want to approach you, as he was lowkey trying to avoid starting anything right in front of you, let alone with you. he wasn’t blind and therefore noticed how much more distant you and him were ever since arriving on earth so he was trying to avoid any additional conflicts between you.
when you looked up, your eyes meeting his for a quick moment, leading to you sending a small smile his way, he almost forgot about all his anger and jealousy towards wells. that was until you looked back at the boy in front of you and started smiling hard at the almost perfect arrow he had just put together.
murphy was gonna make wells pay, hard. he just had to catch him away from you, something that was way harder to arrange than he’d like it to be.
“don’t you see you can’t control this?!”, wells voice echoed through the woods as you nervously made your way back. you were wandering around outside of camp, always keeping close to the dropship as you knew you could get los easily. the initial reason you decided to turn around was the cheering delinquents and something inside of you just had you thinking that murphy must have had something to do with it.
“wait”, you heard bellamy yell, making the noise die down for a moment. it calmed your nerves as you were standing at the back of the group, trying to be as tall as possible to see what was going on. “fair fight”, bellamy said before you could hear something metallic fall to the ground.
anxiety increasing again, you tried to push yourself through the delinquents that were proudly chanting for murder meanwhile you had to pray for a miracle; one that ensured that murphy wasn’t part of this.
“this is for my father”, you could make out murphy’s voice fairly quickly right as you were able to watch him attack wells with a knife. a gasp escaped your throat when wells defended himself with ease, pushing murphy to the ground and holding a knife to his throat.
“stop it! are you insane?!”, your feet were moving before you could think about your actions, bringing you right where wells and murphy were standing.
wells dropped his hand. murphy looked at you with fear and regret. he didn’t regret attacking wells, but he didn’t want you to see him like this. however, one had to admit that he hadn’t been trying very hard.
“y/n..”
“no, shut up john. i am so beyond done with your shit. yours too!”, you pointed a finger at bellamy who just rolled his eyes at your tone.
“if this is who you want to be, fine. go ahead and be a dickhead, john. you disgust me”, you mumbled angry words right into his face before storming off.
despite it being really challenging, you decided to ignore murphy for now. you couldn’t believe that he would do something as reckless as getting into a knife fight with wells! of course wells wasn’t innocent either, but it was clear who the aggressor must have been, even without having been there the entire time.
it was kind of embarrassing that you couldn’t even deny the high possible of john murphy, the boy you had lowkey caught feelings for, murdering an innocent boy for fun.
truly messed up, making murphy more and more deserving of the silent treatment you were giving him. at first he had stayed away from you until you didn’t even come to the tent at night, secretly having had asked a girl named harper to stay in hers.
so when you kept ignoring murphy the day after the incident, it angered him so much that he immediately stormed into your tent when he watched you enter it from afar.
“what the fuck y/n”, he said, his voice laced with irritation as he stared at you. his blue eyes piercing yours.
despite being intimidated, you stayed stubborn and didn’t give him any attention. he hadn’t deserved it yet.
“oh i see, you’re ignoring me? are you being serious? for what, scaring the chancellor’s son a bit? you know damn well i wouldn’t have done anything”, he said, rolling his eyes and waited for a reaction. this time you looked at him critically before ignoring him again.
“wait, you do know that, right?”, murphy’s voice softened a bit. he moved so that he could observe not only your body language, but also your eyes. this made you lower your gaze.
soon after, you felt two hands touching your skin. they were cold but the touch was warm, hot even. murphy moved your face so that you were looking at him and he immediately noticed your worried expression. he instantly understood that you actually didn’t know that he wasn’t a cold hearted killer.
“y/n, i wouldn’t have killed him, i swear. yes, i harmed him and i did that on purpose, i’ll be fully honest here, but i was just angry at him”, he explained himself calmly now.
you removed his hands from your face before getting up from the bed you had previously sat on. “what do you mean angry, john? what did wells do to you? you’ve been treating him like absolute shit, are you kidding me, i don’t get it”, you said. you wanted to yell at him but you also tried to hold onto the tiniest bit of privacy you had behind the ‘walls’ of your tent.
murphy slightly rolled his eyes and shook his head, then sat down on the bed and took off his shoes.
he is trying to escape the conversation!
it annoyed you that he had the audacity to ignore your question after everything he had done up until this point.
“what is WRONG with you, john. talk to me already!”, this time, he basically had you begging. again, unbelievable.
he tried to let as much time pass as possible before linking his hands, putting his arms behind his head and looking up. he sighed and licked his lips, trying to find the right words. “i was.. kinda jealous.”
you couldn’t help but stare at him and ultimately break out in laughter. this was absolutely pathetic.
“you were gonna kill someone out of jealousy? are you INSANE MURPHY?!”, you didn’t even try to keep your voice down, he deserved this.
“y/n, i know that it was wrong alright. but i already told you that i wouldn’t have killed him”, murphy was annoyed and you could clearly hear it in his voice. he however, could clearly see that you weren’t just going to let him disrespect you like that. he sighed again.
“do you want me to apologize?”, he asked quietly, his voice barely louder than a whisper. murphy moved his head so that he could look at you and when a slight grin appeared on your face, he let himself fall back into the sleeping bag.
of course you’d want him to apologize.
“yea, to wells”, you said, ruining his mood entirely.
“WHAT?! you gotta be insane. do you know how embarass”, your expression made him halt in the middle of the sentence, the stubbornness you radiated even caused him to groan. “okay.” you truly had him wrapped around your finger.
“good, john”, you said and walked over to him. “y’know what, this is an amazing sign for you to be better in general because from what i’ve noticed, you’ve been pure hell for most people in this camp”, you admitted, knowing he wouldn’t be mad at you for your honesty.
this, once again, caused murphy to roll his eyes at you. he shook his head slightly, not wanting to talk about his own behaviour anymore, he held one arm out to you, inviting you into the bed with him.
you hesitated for a short second, but quickly got down next to him.
“ugh come here”, murphy said and pulled you into his side.
sharing a bed or cuddling wasn’t a new thing to you two, but it made your heart jump, in a very very good way, everytime it happened.
you repositioned your head until you found a position comfortable enough to stay in and took a long breathe in.
after a moment of silence you began giggling.
“so, jealous huh?”

What We Deserve
asked anonymously: Could you do 24. "you deserve better" with John Murphy please? warnings: minimal proofreading and bad editing :) word count: 1276
Tumblr media
To say John Murphy was coming to terms with the relationship the two of you shared was somewhat of an understatement. First he was angry about it, like most things in his life, and he lashed out because of said anger. Picking fights, saying rude things, doing everything in his power to cool that fire that burned in his chest every time he thought about you.
Your relationship started not long after the two of you made it to Earth, you being the caring person you are had checked on him after one of his petty little fights with one of the other delinquents. That one time turned into sneaking into his makeshift tent every night and having conversations until the sun came up.
Murphy is infatuated by you, completely and utterly smitten with every bit of you, not that he would ever admit it. He refuses to acknowledge the blush that takes over his cheeks whenever you're mentioned or the way his heart pounds a mile a minute when you're near.
You two became nearly inseparable even with his lack of commitment, he called it close friends, and you called that bullshit. You know you're not just friends, friends don't look at each other the way you look him and friends don't open up like he does when he's with you. And well, friends don't stop to make out in caves during hunting trips, which you admit is probably the most irresponsible thing the two of you could do, considering the grounders that are currently hiding out in the woods, but that never stops you two.
Although now, nothing is going to stop you, you're going to tell him about your feelings for him, you're going to tell him about how tender he makes your heart and how hazy he makes your mind by doing nothing but being around.
You make your way to his tent at your normal time, taking a second outside to get yourself ready, this could make or break your relationship with him, and honestly, you're nervous to lose him after everything you've been through.
But the nerves seem to fall away as you enter his tent, and you see him in all his glory, shirtless and already laying down, as if he was waiting for you. When he looks up at you his smile is like a sudden beam of sunlight even with it being pitch black outside.
"Hey," is all he says as he beckons you over to him, his arms held out to you. Your body easily molds to his as you lean into his chest. He was only ever like this when it's just the two of you and everyone else is asleep, and it makes you question what it would be like to really be his.
"What happened?" Your finger reaches up and lightly sweeps across his cheek that's adored by a purple and black bruise. But he's quick to brush you off with a shake of his head.
"Nothing, hunting trip gone wrong, don't worry about it," he doesn't seem very interested in talking about it, and you're not one to pry. "What're we talking about tonight?"
You fidget slightly where you're leaned against him and push yourself up into a sitting position, "I have something to tell you." You do your best to sound confident but the nerves are starting to come back to life.
Murphy nods as he falls back against the blanket he uses as a pillow and stares at you expectantly.
"Well you see, I've been wanting to tell you this for a while now," your heart is racing, "and I'm hoping you feel the same way," your cheeks are starting to heat up under this stare, "but I like you John Murphy, and I think I'm starting to fall for you."
He stays there for a second, contemplating his next move, he's never been in this situation before. Yeah, he's had relationships before, but nothing like this situationship, nothing as deep as falling.
He rolls over onto his other side, putting his back to you and essentially forcing you away from him, "I think you should leave Y/N." And your heart shatters.
-
The next few days are spent with nothing but your longing eyes being stuck on him as he walks around camp and his cold demeanor ignoring anyone and everyone. The nights are harder, no more conversations about your passions and connecting with him on a deeper level, not to mention the warm cuddles that would put you to sleep without fail.
Now you have plenty of sleepless nights that always seem to get colder as they progress, but maybe that's just the lack of his sunshine smile in your life that would warm you from the inside out.
One morning you're woken up to some commotion outside of your tent, and you're quick to make your way out there. You were considered one of the peace makers of the camp and what was happening right now does not sound like peace.
You find Murphy on the ground with his eyes closed and another boy walking backwards shaking his fist, as if he had just punched someone. Which by the look of Murphy's face, he was the one that got punched, and hard too.
The other boy looks ready to come back for seconds, and Murphy still hasn't stood up, he was in no condition to fight with a bloody lip and bruised eye. You're on the ground in a second, your hands finding his face, pressing along his cheekbones, checking for broken bones or fracturs, and he's groaning under your touch.
"Come on," you pull him up onto his feet and into the direction of your tent, where you quickly close the flap behind him as he takes a seat onto your makeshift bed. "What the hell Murphy, what was that all about?"
Murphy groans again and falls back onto the bed, his head landing softly against your pillows. "He's a dick." is all he says.
You roll your eyes and sit down next to him, "And you're not?" You're partly joking, everyone knows Murphy as the camps resident dickhead, you wouldn't be surprised if he thought you were serious.
"Why are you helping me?" he completely ignores your earlier comments.
"You know why," you counter.
He sits up, puts his head in his hands, and mumbles something into them. When you just stare at him instead of answering, he removes his hands and tries again. "I wish you didn't like me," he can tell his words hurt you by the look in your eyes and he does his best to do damage control, "you deserve better, don't you get it? You don't need me, but I need you. You're the only thing in this world that is worth being here for, you mean everything to me. Is that better?"
You're taken aback by his words, completely and utterly speechless as you try to fully take in what he just said. You never expected this from him, he wasn't one to admit his feelings or even say he was wrong, and now he's doing both. A smile starts to break out across your face as you fight back tears, this is everything you've wanted for the longest time and now you have it.
You take his face in your hands once again, minding the bruises that adorn his cheeks and lean forward. He seems to get the gist of it and leans in too, and when your lips connect, it's like fireworks exploding within you. And you know this is exactly where you're meant to be.
a/n: not a fan of the ending but really wanted to get this out as the request has been sitting in my inbox for a while. Anyway hope you like it nonnie!!

persistence | bellamy blake x gn!reader
description: training with bellamy.
trigger warnings: some seductive behavior, gun usage, fluff, etc. read at your own risk.
word count: <1k
Holding the shot gun close against your right shoulder, you aimed it towards the wooden target outside. You'd been the only one training that afternoon, everyone else was at lunch. You closed your left eye and tried your best to hit the center of the target. You pulled the trigger and missed it, the bullet drove through the wood several inches away from the center.
You released a grunt and tossed the gun against the grass and dirt, frustratedly. You kicked a rock that was by your feet as you clenched your jaw. Placing your hands against your hips, you stood still for a moment, staring at the target for a while; as if it would give you the answer as to how to shoot the center of it.
"It's really not that complicated," Bellamy's voice was heard from behind you.
You parted your lips and released a soft breath, uninterested in his instruction. "I almost had it," You avoided eye contact and reached down to lift up the shot gun, holding it tightly against your shoulder again.
Bellamy stood behind you, crossing his arms over his chest as he watched you for a moment. His eyes squinted subtly due to the brightness of the sun.
You pulled the trigger and missed by a hair again. You sighed, quietly.
"Hold it up again," Bellamy instructed, walking towards you.
"I don't need your help," You replied, looking back to him.
"Just hold it," He said, not phased by your attitude. You looked ahead at the target and held up the gun again. Bellamy's hands slowly moved around to your arms to fix their position. You could feel his breath fanning against your neck. The closeness caused a lump to develop in your throat, unable to speak.
"Yeah.." Bellamy cleared his throat and stepped back, awkwardly. "Like that," He nodded.
You felt your grip against the gun loosen from the sweat that produced in the palms of your hands. Swallowing thickly, you pulled yourself back into focus and closed your left eye again. Bellamy stood at your side and watched as you pulled the trigger.
The bullet swiftly moved through the red painted dot against the wood carved into a circle. You smiled widely as you stared at the hole in the middle of the target.
"I did it!" You laughed, almost baffled that you were capable of doing it. You turned to see Bellamy and he was smiling at you. That was something he didn't always do often, but when he did it was beautiful.
"I told you it wasn't that complicated," He smiled. "It's all in how you hold it."
"Thanks, Bellamy," You grinned.
He simply nodded with a smile to his lips.

i do what i have to do.
pairings. bellamy blake x fem!reader
part two of two.
about. in which you point your gun at someone you never thought you’d point it at.
Tumblr media
warnings. swearing
ricky rocks. look who finally finished a year old one shot/fic/whatever you call it 🤗🤗
bellamy coudn’t hurt you even if he wanted to. so, when mumbling the words, ‘move or i’ll kill you’, you could see right through his bluff by the way his eyes so willingly betrayed him, filled with... hurt.
in all truth, bellamy believed you would have shot him if it would have come down to that, and maybe that’s what pained him most. he wouldn't hurt a hair on your head, and you would have, but only for the best interest and safety of arkadia and your friends.
you never wanted to hurt bellamy, but recently you really, really wanted to slap him upside the head for all the stupid shit he had been doing. and maybe a gun scare would knock some sense into him, or maybe it would only put him deeper into the hole pike was digging for him.
bellamy yanked you to your feet quickly after the two of you had seemed to have recovered from all the commotion that had just taken place. you weren't sure whether or not he wanted to get you away from the increase in rowdy crowd or to have his way with you first.
you were beginning to think it was the last option as he marched down the hall with you in front of him, gripping your left arm while the other pressed against your back. one, two, three, four more steps before he shoved you into one of the guards rooms, his room.
“what the hell do you think you’re doing?” he let go of your arm with a slight shove causing you to stumble forward a bit. he looked angry, more than you had ever seen him and more than you would have ever wished to see.
“bellamy, don’t start with me,” you mumbled, raising a finger to harshly accuse him... for something. “if you’re going to kill me, just get it over with.”
he scoffed, looking beyond dumbfounded with his mouth slight agape, not believing the words that had just came from your mouth.
“stop fucking talking,” he needed to think. he begun to pace back and forth, and you had no idea what to do with yourself as you watched him. “i need to get you out of here.”
"what?"
he gives you a dumbfounded look that was filled with a sense of urgency, "y/n, you just shot someone that can have you dead within seconds. you don't leave, someone’s going to do exactly what you did, and take justice into their own hands."
"you should have let me finish the job."
"we're not starting this," he grips your shoulder before pushing you by your upper back. "people are leaving. o, kane, miller—you go with them. you stay, they'll kill you."
"how do you know this?" you mumbled, glancing back at the mention of your friends and the planned escape you all had developed. bellamy was considered a traitor to you all, so he would be the last person on your list to concern with the escape plan.
"eyes everywhere."
you narrow your brows at him, "you're coming with."
he narrows his brows in shock, not expecting you to say this, you share the same expression, also shocked by yourself. the past month would explain this--not only had you watched your world at arkadia fastly crumble after the slow rebuild of humanity, you also witnessed your relationship with bellamy slowly tank moment after moment while his with pike was created.
so, offering passage was an absurd idea. after all the betrayal.
he seems to wince after his surprisal settles but is quick to keep a straight face as best as he can, "you're getting the wrong idea."
"am i?"
"we're not friends anymore, y/n. this isn't old times," his words are intentionally stinging, but you don't miss the look on his face that betrays him. "you can't save me if that’s what you’re thinking. I don't need to be saved, i know what i’m doing."
you frown, "bellamy, you need to stop acting like there's never going to be a happy ending for you before it comes true. leave with us."
"you know i can't do that."
"why not?"
"I dug myself in too deep this time," his face was still stone cold, but it didn't prevent remorse from blossoming in your chest. "maybe if you weren't such a terrible shot, this would be all over."
***
in well under an hour bellamy had you out of arkadia, alone. your friends had left a lot sooner than thought and no matter how much begging you did—expectedly—bellamy left his mind unchanged.
you knew exactly where your friends were going—where they’d be. it was a long and lonely hike but it was enough time for reflection.
you miss the time where you felt like a kid still. where you were young and reckless and full of hope that you’d finally get to be free upon that first step off the drop ship. that you had purpose and will and fighting was something you hadn’t really minded aside from the possible side affect of death.
now you were tired. you just wanted to lay your head down for once and not think about the pointless rivalry purging your everyday life.
“y/n, you’re okay,” octavia pulls you into a tight hug, a certain relief setting over. “god, after we hadn’t seen you, we assumed the worst.”
“i’m okay,” you gave her a thin-lipped smile, “thanks to your brother.”
“bellamy?” she seems shocked, like that’s the first courteous thing he’s done for someone in years.
“yes,” you nod, understanding the hostile tone she almost takes with his name. “i think he might’ve saved me.”
“where is bellamy?” miller speaks causing you to realize they had all emerged from the cave.
"he's gone."
"dead?"
"no,” you shake your head, “he stayed behind. he said he had to fix some thing’s before he showed his face again.”
octavia mentally rolled her eyes, but kept her composure as she watched you, “you’re here. that’s all that matters.”
***
“is he dead?”
“indra has him.”
“bellamy-“
“y/n,” he gives you a pointed look at your protest. “you know that’s as good as dead.”
he was right. pike killed her people, that was far from unforgivable. he’d be lucky to receive death.
“she didn’t kill you.”
he shook his head, keeping his eyes low to the ground, “thanks to o.”
it took a day for bellamy to find you all. his face was beaten and bloodied, but you knew better than to ask what the cause was. he had a lot of enemies at the moment and it wasn’t like this was something out of the blue for him. you would've been surprised to see a clean face.
“she doesn’t hate you as much as you think.”
“i’d like to think she doesn’t hate me at all,” he presses his lips into a thin line. “you’re right though.”
you nod, trying to look sympathetic.
“about everything. i’m sorry.”
your mouth slightly opens in shock from not anticipating his words; apology and admitting.
“i’m sorry too,” you nod, swallowing harshly as you think about having that gun pointed inches from his face. “i would’ve never shot you.”
“you sure?” his voice is lighthearted, but you can tell he’s genuine when asking. “could’ve guessed otherwise.”
“guessing will only hurt you,” you tease, but quickly drop the blitheness. “i shouldn’t have done it, but i was scared… and angry.”
“i know,” he whispers, “we do what we have to do, right?”
“right.”
“then if that means shooting me to knock some sense into me, do it.”
a laugh gets stuck in the back of your throat at the preposterous thought of it. the funny thing was you knew he wasn’t joking. classic bellamy, putting himself in harm’s way.
“me a couple months ago would be more than happy to oblige,” you shake your head, making it his turn to laugh.
“us a couple months ago was a different story. i’m sure we already had guns to each other’s throats.”
you laugh with him, “yeah.”
“never again.”
nodding, “never again.”
you stare at one another now, quiet and calm. you don’t think you’ve ever had a moment like this with bellamy before.
you’re not sure what to do, but bellamy does.
your months of angsty butting heads leading to civilness, then ultimately leading to radio silence on both of your ends due to pike, had killed him. and now, here you were, back in his grasp of more than just civilness, he couldn’t let that go.
“i lied,” he mumbles, suddenly shifting from the rock he sat on. “instead of shooting me…” he’s leaning now, hovering, and just barely resisting the urge to complete his intentions. you feel his breath fan your face; feel, because your eyes are shut. “please, just kiss me.”
his nose is slotted against yours, still hovering as he watches you beneath his eye lashes. his lips are so close… so close to yours, it’s killing him that he waits.
“i’m sorry, but i have to do this,” he smiles before finally pressing his lips against yours.

Starless Lovers {6}
Tumblr media
Summary: They fell from the sky. We roamed the earth. We were always meant to clash.
Warnings: The 100 Themes, Angst, Death, Blood, Unrequited Feelings, Slow Burn, Possibly more to come
Pairings: Lexa x Sister!Reader, Bellamy Blake x Fem!Reader (eventual)
War has always been brewing. With twelve clans, each with different ideals, it was always going to happen. But tensions rise when they come, the people from the sky. We watched from a distance, learning. But then they attacked, and if there's one thing all the clans can agree on,
Blood must have blood.

🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
“You were gone all day.”
You shrugged, looking over at Lexa.
“Pauna attacked. We had to hide.”
“Are you hurt?”
You shook your head, glancing at Clarke.
“Clarke patched me up. I’ll be fine.”
“Commanders-”
Clarke stepped forward, looking between you and Lexa.
“I need to return to camp. I need to see if Bellamy has radioed in.”
Lexa nodded, looking over at Clarke.
“Very well. You may return to your camp.
“But I’m coming with.”
Both Clarke and Lexa shot you a look, causing you to shrug as you looked over at Lexa.
“If I have to deal with the delegates again, I’m going to scream. Besides, you heard what the scouts said, tension is high with our people and Skaikru. Seeing me may help calm the tension.”
Lexa sighed, mulling it over before she nodded.
“Fine. But not for long.”
You grinned slightly, nodding.
“Of course.”
You turned towards Clarke, looking over at her.
“If that’s okay with you.”
Clarke slightly made a face before she nodded, looking up at you, smiling softly.
“Of course.”
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
“Promise me.”
You turned, watching as Lexa walked towards you, reaching out and grabbing your hands.
“Promise me that you will be safe and that you will return.”
You nodded, squeezing her hands.
“I will always return. You’re my strisis. I can’t leave you behind. I won’t.” (little sister)
She nodded, offering you a small smile.
“I’ll hold you to that.”
You smiled, letting her hands go so you could hug her, Lexa sighing softly as she returned the hug.
“Heda, Riheda.”
You stepped back, seeing one of the villagers leading your horse to you.
“Mochof.” (thank you)
You took the reins from them, climbing up into the saddle. You looked down at Lexa, offering her a small smile.
“I’ll see you soon.”
Lexa looked up at you, offering a small nod.
“Nestam.” (see you soon)
You looked over when Clarke led her horse next to you, nodding at her.
“Ready?”
She nodded, the two of you leading your horses through the village, your people standing on both sides, muttering, bowing their heads as you passed, Clarke glancing at you.
“What are they doing?”
“Showing their respect.”
Clarke nodded, and once you were at the entrance of the village you turned, seeing Lexa still standing where you left her. She nodded once before she turned, walking off. Taking a deep breath you turned back around, seeing Clarke looking at you.
“Okay?”
You nodded, leading your horse forward towards Clarke as two members of your guard fell into place behind you both.
“Let’s go.”
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
After joining Clarke’s mother at the meeting point, you all rode back to their camp. You rode next to Clarke, your guards following behind you both.
“Riheda, em hashta wan daun.” (she has stopped)
You lead your horse to a stop, turning around, seeing Clarke’s mother had stopped and was off her horse.
“Clarke.”
She turned, shooting you a look, causing you to nod towards her mother, causing her to glare as she climbed off her horse, handing the lead to your guard.
“Mom, why are we stopping?”
Abby held her canteen towards Clarke, nodding.
“You need to drink too.”
“I’m fine. We’re almost home.”
You watched as Clarke turned, looking up at the two extra guards your sister had sent after you and Clarke.
“Our scouts patrol these woods. Be careful where you shoot.”
“Yes mam.”
Abby watched them walk off before she turned, looking over at Clarke.
“The grounders listen to you.”
“Lexa and Esmeray told them to.”
Abby glanced at you, an unreadable look on her face as Clarke shook her head.
“We shouldn’t have stopped.”
She turned, yelling.
“Mount up!”
Abby reached out, grabbing Clarke’s arm.
“Clarke-”
Clarke huffed, pulling her arm from Abby as she looked at her.
“Mom, I need to get back to that radio to see if Bellamy has made contact.”
“Listen to me, I know you think you don’t need my protection anymore but you do. You have to trust that I know what’s right for us.”
“Let’s go home.”
Your guard handed Clarke back the reins once she’d climbed back onto her horse, your eyes widening when there was a shot, your guard falling over. Clarke looked over at you, her eyes wide.
“Mountain men.”
Clarke kicked the side of her horse, the horse running forward. You did the same, your horse following behind her as Abby fell to her knees, checking on your guard. You heard Indra before you saw her, you and Clarke coming up the small hill.
“Finish it!”
“Octavia, no!”
Octavia looked up, her sword at the man’s neck, her chest heaving.
“He’s from Mount Weather. We need to keep him alive. Check to see if he’s got a patch kit. We’ve got to get him back to camp.”
The man on the ground screamed as Octavia moved him, rocking back and forth.
“It burns! Please! Please!”
Octavia stood up, unfolding a piece of paper, gasping.
“What is that?”
Octavia turned towards Clarke, showing her the picture.
“Clarke, you, Esmeray and Lexa were the targets.”
Indra glared, shaking her head.
“We have to warn the commander.”
You nodded, clenching your jaw as you turned, your guard leading his horse to a stop.
“Riheda?”
“Bak op at stegeda. Fika ai sis fleil raun kefa. Zo yo lok ins nau.” (go back to the village. Tell my sister to be careful. We’re all targets now)
Your guard nodded, kicking the side of his horse, riding back towards the village. Clarke looked over at you, her brows pinched together.
“We have to get back to camp, now.”
“Lead the way.”
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
“Lock that down! Close the gate! Move! Move!”
You looked around, eyeing Skaikru’s camp. Some of their people were out, and they stopped to stare at you as you led your horse further into their camp. Climbing down from your horse, one of Indra’s men stepped forward, bowing his head at you as he took the lead to your horse. You looked around as the others rushed to their ship, Indra and Octavia coming to a stop in front of you.
“Riheda.”
You turned, looking down at Octavia.
“They are going to do what they can to help your guard. They’re in medical if you’d like to be there.”
You nodded, causing Octavia to glance at Indra before she turned, walking towards the ship. You followed behind her, Indra falling into step beside you. Once inside their ship, you couldn’t help but look around. You’d never seen anything like it, the few things you’d seen from life before came nowhere near as close to their ship. Your trio came to a stop when Raven came out of a room, her eyes widening slightly when she saw you before she looked over at Octavia when she spoke.
“Anything from my brother?”
“No, not yet.”
Octavia nodded, glancing back at you and Indra.
“I was taking them to medical, one of their people was shot.”
“I can take them. I need to update Clarke anyway.”
Octavia nodded, turning and walking into the room Raven had walked out of.
“It’s this way.”
Raven turned, walking down the hall, Indra and you sharing a look before you followed after her. Walking into the room, you spotted Abby working on your guard while Ravne walked towards Clarke. You made your way to Abby, Indra following you.
“There was a tear in his suit, but we fixed it in the field. Anything from Bellamy?”
“No.”
“Then why aren’t you at the radio?”
“Octavia just took my place. How about you back off?”
Clarke turned back when the man working on the prisoner went to remove his helmet, stopping him.
“No. Leave it on. It’s the only thing keeping him alive.”
“Well, how can we treat a guy if we can’t touch him?”
“I can rig up some scrubbers in the airlock. Give me twenty minutes.”
Raven turned, running out of the room.
“Damn it. I’m losing him. I need the blood now!”
The man who was working on the prisoner rushed towards Abby, offering her help.
“Okay, come on. Stay with me. Come on. Fight!”
You stepped forward when Matis groaned, a broken sigh escaping him as his head rolled to the side.
“He’s gone.”
You moved, Abby and the man stepping back out of your way as you stopped next to Matis, reaching out and closing his eyes.
“Yu gonplei ste odon.”
Indra clenched her jaw, shaking her head.
“A killer lives while a warrior dies? This is your way?”
You clenched your jaw as you looked down at Matis, Clarke shaking her head as she looked over at Indra.
“I’m sorry, Indra, but he can help us beat Mount Weather.”
“Then let me make him talk.”
Clarke shook her head, sighing softly.
“No. We’re not torturing him.”
Abby nodded, stepping forward as you stepped back from the bed Matis laid on.
“Clarke’s right. He might just talk because we saved his life.”
Indra scoffed, shaking her head as you walked towards the door.
“You people are so weak.”
Indra turned, spotting you at the door, calling out to you.
“Riheda?”
You turned, looking over at Clarke.
“You have one hour Clarke. One hour before I kill him. And no amount of firepower you have will stop me.”
You turned, walking out of the room, Indra following after you.
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
“You should not have come here.”
“Yet here I am.”
“This is not a laughing matter.”
You glanced at Indra, watching her as she paced back and forth in the tent.
“This place is dangerous.”
“So am I.”
“You cannot withstand their weapons. Even you will fall.”
You shook your head, huffing.
“But not today. And should I fall to the hands of Skaikru, then my spirit will help guide Lexa.”
“You should not have come here.”
“It’s not like I’m staying here. I’ll be returning for the summit. “
“You should’ve stayed.”
She stopped pacing, turning towards you and shooting you a look.
“Why are you here, Riheda?”
You looked up from your knife you were sharpening, looking over at Indra.
“The scouts said tensions were rising with Skaikru. I’m here to put a stop to it.”
Indra shot you a deadpanned look, scoffing as she shook her head.
“If only.”
“Indra-”
You looked over when the flap of the tent opened, Indra unsheathing her sword as she moved to stand between you and the entrance.
“Uh, sorry, for the intrusion. But I need to speak with Esmeray.”
Indra huffed as she sheathed her sword, stepping to the side. Clarke looked over at you, taking a step forward.
“I’ve heard from Bellamy. He’s going to disable the acid fog with the help of our friend, Raven. And he’s going to find a way to free your people while we come up with a plan to keep them from looking for him.”
“And you have a plan for this?”
Clarke nodded, watching as you continued to sharpen your knife.
“Yes. I want to release the prisoner. Along with a message.”
“You want to release the prisoner?”
“Emerson, and yes, I do.”
“To deliver a message.”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“Bellamy is inside the enemy. Once they discover the acid fog is down, they’ll start looking to those there with them. He’ll be in danger and we’ll lose our inside man. By sending Emerson back, alive, and with my message, they won’t see what Bellamy’s doing. And it’ll buy us time, which we desperately need.”
You nodded slightly, grabbing the cloth that was next to you, wiping down your knife.
“Your mother will stop you.”
“She can try. But with your help, she won’t be able to.”
You hummed, setting the cloth down, flipping your knife side to side, examining it.
“Riheda?”
With a harsh sigh you stood, pointing your knife at Clarke.
“Let’s go then.”
Clarke’s eyes widened slightly as she nodded, glancing at Indra.
“O-kay then.”
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
Walking next to Clarke, you walked down the hall leading to the airlock, Clarke sparing a glance at the guard that reached for his radio.
“Don’t.”
Emerson was leaning against the doors, watching as you both came to a stop.
“Get dressed. You’re coming with us.”
Emerson nodded, turning and pulling his suit on. Once he was dressed, Clarke opened the door, Indra and Sel walking forward, grabbing Emerson. The led Emerson out, Octavia moving behind him as the guards you and Indra brough surrounded them. You and Clarke led the way, no one stopping you as you walked out of the ship. Once you were outside you made your way to the gate, glancing to the side when you saw movement coming towards you.
“Clarke, what are you doing?”
Clarke shook her head as her mother and Kane rushed in front of you.
“Clarke, stop.”
“No.”
Clarke glanced at Abby and Kane as they stopped in front of you, causing you and the others to stop, Skaikru’s guards appearing behind them.
“I’m letting the prisoner go.”
“Absolutely not.”
“He hasn’t told us anything yet.”
“He doesn’t have to. He’s gonna tell them something.”
Abby scoffed as she shook her head, turning towards the guards.
“Get the prisoner back to the airlock, now.”
“Yes mam.”
When the guards stepped forward, you lifted your hand, balling it into a fist, Indra and the others reaching for their weapons, unsheathing them, waiting for your command as you gave the guard a dry look. Clarke glanced at Abby, shaking her head as the guards standing behind her and Kane lifted their guns.
“You may be the Chancellor, but I’m in charge.”
Abby shook her head, looking over at you, pleading.
“Tell your people to stand down before this gets out of hand. Please.”
“No.”
“People could get hurt.”
Clarke shook her head, taking a small step forward, causing Abby to look back over at her.
“Not if you get out of my way. You need to trust that I know what’s right for us.”
Kane sighed, leaning down towards Abby.
“The grounders trust Clarke.”
He looked back at Clarke, grinning slightly.
“Maybe we should too.”
Abby sighed, turning her head to the side.
“Stand down.”
The guards lowered their weapons, taking a step back. You lowered your hand, causing Indra and the others to lower their weapons. Clarke smirked slightly as she stepped forward, the rest of you following after her.
“Open the gate, now.”
Clarke turned towards Emerson, glaring at him.
“Can you hear me alright? Because I need to make sure you get this.”
“Loud and clear.”
“I have a message for your leader. We’re coming for him. You’re watching us, but you haven’t seen a thing. The grounder army is bigger than you think, and even if you could find it, your acid fog can’t hurt them and now, thanks to you-”
Clarke lifted the reaper stick, cutting it on.
“Neither can the reapers. So you have one last chance. Let our people go, and we’ll let you live. It’s just that simple.”
“I got it.”
“It’s an eight hour walk back to Mount Weather.”
Clarke grabbed his oxygen regulator, letting some of the air out.
“You’re gonna do it in six.”
Emerson’s eyes widened as he slightly shook his head, huffing.
“Six hours. That’s not enough. How am I supposed to deliver your message?”
“That’s your problem. Now go.”
Emerson turned, Indra’s guards moving to the side to let him through.
One of Indra’s guards grabbed Emerson, pushing him forward. Clarke turned, looking over at you. You nodded once, causing Clarke to nod back as she looked over at Octavia.
“Clarke. Do you want to explain to me how this helps my brother?”
“I just told him we have a secret army to worry about. The more they’re looking at us, the less they’re looking at him. Bellamy is the key to everything, Octavia. If he dies, we die.”

Bounty Hunter - No Way Out

Warnings: swearing, blood, injuries, violence.
Pairing: Bellamy Blake x Grounder!reader.
Word count: 5273.
Masterlist.
Serie Masterlist.
“Lock it up.” You heard Miller say as Bellamy parked the rover inside the hanger, turning the engine off. After everyone got out you grabbed Roan’s arm and pulled him out of the rover.
“Where’s Luna?” Raven asked as you made your way around the rover.
“Luna said no.” Octavia said before walking pat her.
“Who the hell is this?” She asked, eyeing Roan with suspicion. You pushed him forward and closed the back door of the rover. “He’s Ice Nation.” Bryan said, hatred in his voice.
“King of the Ice Nation, actually.” Clarke said, making your eyebrows raise in surprise. “King?” You asked, turning to look at Roan who was glaring at you. “What happened to the queen?”
“Lexa killed her.” Clarke said. “Leaving him to be the king.”
“Then congratulations, Roan. Or is it Your Majesty?” You said, the smirk on your face widening when he could speak back due to the gag in his mouth. “This way.” Bellamy said and started to pull him along. “You two, follow me.” He said to Miller and Monty. “Take him to lockup.”
“You wanna use him to get to Ontari?” Raven asked Clarke as they walked out of the room.
“Yes.” She said, her eyes still focused on where they had just left.
“What happened to him arm?” Harper asked from beside her.
“Bellamy shot him.” You said, drawing her attention. “But don’t worry, he deserved it.”
“Good luck getting him to cooperate.” Monty said, sighing.
“If he doesn’t he won’t get the Flame, and if he won’t get the Flame he’s as good as dead within Azgeda.”
“How do you know that?” Clarke asked, turning to you.
“His people have been wanting an Azgeda Commander for years, now that Ontari is the only Nutblida available, It would be a shame for him to go back empty handed.”
Your gaze turned to the door as Bellamy walked back in. “Come on,” he motioned for you and Clarke to follow him. “He’s in lockup.”
You walked after him to the cell, the place giving you deja vu but you ignored it. He typed the code in and the door opened. Roan was sitting on the bench, head rising as he heard you step in. Clarke turned to Bellamy, sending him a scolding loom. He rolled his eyes.
“Sorry about your arm.”
“Makes us even.” He shrugged.
“Good, now that that’s out of the way, let’s talk business.” You said, cutting the glaring between Bellamy and Roan and making him turn to you. “You said we wanted the same thing. I want an Ice Nation Commander.” He said.
“And I can give you one with this.” Clarke said and raised her hand that was blaming the box with the Flame.
“And why would you do that, when you know she’s vowed to wipe you out?” He asked, tilting his head slightly to the side.
“We don’t have a choice.” She sighed and rolled her eyes. “This isn’t just our war. The enemy were up against us after everyone. Including the Ice Nation. The only way to stop her is to get the information off the Flame. And the only way to do that is to put it in Ontari’s head.”
“The Ice Nation isn’t afraid.” He said, shrugging.
“You should be.” Bellamy said, Roan turned to him. “This thing doesn’t care what clan you’re from. It controls people. And it will take over the Ice Nation, just like it took us over, one person at a time, until there’s no one left.”
His words made Roan stay quiet, his face didn’t say anything but his gaze dropped slightly, understanding Bellamy’s words. “It already has Ontari.” Clarke added, noticing his change of energy as well.
“I’m listening.” He said, his face blank from the smug look he had on seconds ago.
“We need to disconnect her before she gets the Flame. Or we’ll be giving Allie exactly what she wants.” She explained. “To do that, we have to abduct her from the center of a city filled with thousands of people whose minds are linked. All of them thinking as one. Whatever one sees, they all see, whatever one hears, they all hear.”
“I get it.” He said, his face stern. “How exactly are you planning to sneak inside or even get to Ontari?”
“Y/N used to live in Polis,” you almost cringed at the use of your name, “she knows every tunnel we can use to sneak out way inside the palace, all the way to the throne room.”
“Y/N?” He asked, turning to you with a smirk. You rolled your eyes. “Don’t let it get to your head.”
“Are you in or not?” Bellamy asked sternly, stepping forward.
He chuckled and stood up from the bench, looking between the three of you. “So when do we leave?”
“Now. We’ll load the rover up and then we’re good to go.” Bellamy said, turning to the door. “Let’s go.”
“Knockout gas. Mount Weather’s finest.” Miller said as he put the metal container in the bag. “As soon as we bring Ontari out, we put ‘em to sleep.”
“Nice.” Bellamy said and patted him on the back before turning to you. “Are you sure you want to come?”
“Bellamy-“
“I’m just saying, your face is basically purple and you still have your shoulder and stomach that are not healed. I don’t want you to get hurt even further.” He said, his face turning concerned.
“Way to tell a girl she’s beautiful but I’ll take it.” You said, making him shake his head but a chuckle left his lips. “But seriously, Bellamy,” your tone turned serious, “I want to go, I need to go. I don’t know where Nyko is and if he’s in Polis then I have to save him.”
“Okay,” he reached out and moved some of your hair away from your face, “just wanted to be sure.”
You stared at him for a few seconds before smiling. “Plus, you need me as your map, you’ll get lost without me.”
“That, too.”
You stayed when’re you were, eyes connected and his hand still cupping your cheek. You wanted to kiss him again but you knew it wasn’t the time nor the place.
“Thirty seconds.” He said, making you frown.
“What?”
“You’ve managed to hold my gaze for thirty seconds. I’m really proud of you, that must have took a lot.” He said sarcastically, making you roll your eyes.
“Shut up.” You said and hit his arm, a smile tugging on your lips.
“Because shes chipped, you have to EMP her like you did me before you give her the Flame.” Raven’s voice broke your moment, making you turned to her approaching figure.
“I thought Jaha destroyed all the wristbands.” Jasper said as he saw the new EMP in her hands.
“So did he. Then I came home.” She said with a smug look on her face, and rightly so. You were always in awe of how smart she was. “There’s only enough usable parts to rebuild one, so use it wisely. Made a few improvements, too.”
“None of which is gonna matter if you can’t get us access to Alie’s code.” Clarke said, stepping forward.
“You worry about the Nightblood. I’ll worry about Alie.” She said with a confident smile.
“How can you access code that doesn’t exist here anymore?” Jasper asked, making the both turn to him.
“We’ve got a plan.” Monty said as he came to stand beside Raven.
“What are we waiting for?” Octavia asked impatiently as she and Roan stepped into the room.
“Let’s move out.” Bellamy said and turned to hug the ones who were staying goodbye. You walked over to Raven, pulling her into a hug. “I have no idea how you do whatever it is that you do, but I’m pretty sure you don’t need much luck on this one.”
She chuckled. “Thank you. Be careful, okay?”
“I’ll try to.” You said and pulled away. You walked to the back of the rover and got in, sitting behind Clarke who was sitting in the passenger’s seat, next to Roan.
“Ready to go, Your Majesty?” You asked him and punched him in his hurt arm. He clenched his jaw.
“As long as you don’t screw this up, yes, I am.” He said and punched you in your shoulder, the one that still wasn’t healed.
“I like the way you play, I’ll give you that.” You said through clenched teeth.
You drove for less than an hour until you reached the splitting point. “There it is. We stop here.” Clarke said, pointing up ahead. Bellamy stopped the rover. She jumped out and started walking towards the end of the road. You got out along with Roan and followed her. From where you were standing you could see the tall palace of Polis, indicating you were close.
“Alright,” you said, turning to Roan and Clarke, “this is where we split up. Roan, you already know where the tunnel is, right?”
“Of course I do.” He said and pointed to his left.
“Just making sure.” You said with a small smirk. He rolled his eyes and turned to Clarke. “I’m gonna need the Flame.”
“Yeah, good luck with that.” You muttered.
“Look, this only works if they send Ontari out to get it.” He said, ignoring your comment. “If they don’t see it, they won’t do that. Not much of a trap without the bait.”
He face wasn’t settled, ripped between the two options laying in front of her. She nodded after a few seconds, taking out the box that held the Flame. “Fine. But I’m coming with you.”
“No way. That is not the plan.” Bellamy said, shaking his head.
“It is now.” She said and handed Roan the box. “You’ll need to look like my prisoner.” He said, making Bellamy protest.
“No.” He objected but she didn’t listen to him. “Clarke.” He said sternly, making her finally look at him. ”We still don’t know if he’s on our side, he could just hand over the Flame to Ontari and screw us over.”
“I’m right here.” Roan said, glaring at Bellamy.
“He knows what big of a threat we’re facing, he’s gonna help us.” She said, trying to convince him. It didn’t work.
“No. Even if he does give up the Flame as least your life is not on the line.”
“Bellamy, I have to do this. I’m not letting that out of my sight.”
“Clarke-“
“I’m the only one who can activate it, without me, Ontari can’t ascend.”
“She’s got a pretty compelling argument.” You said, but the glare Bellamy sent you made you look back down and shut up.
“Can we talk in privet?” He asked Clarke. She nodded and they walked a few feet away from you.
“Looks like lover boy doesn’t trust me yet.” Roan said, making you look up at him.
“Yeah, I don’t really blame him. You’re sketchy.” You shrugged your shoulders.
“But he does trust you, they all do. And you trust them, enough to reveal your name. How the fuck did that happen?”
“Building trust is a project, Majesty, you gotta start off by saving some lives and then try and be nice. That usually works.” You said, making him roll him eyes but a small smile tugged on his lips.
“You’re funny, I’ll give you that.”
“I’m honored you think that, really. And you should smile more, brings out your eyes.” You said and motioned with your hand to his face. Your small talk was cut off by Clarke and Bellamy making their way back towards you.
“Let’s go.” She said to Roan. He nodded and walked after her.
“You agreed?” You asked Bellamy with surprise.
“Yes. But we’re not leaving them alone. We’ll be following them.”
“Yeah, that sounds more like you.” You said, making him chuckle. You walked back to the rover, pulling out all the weapons you needed and started making your way to Polis.
You led them through the tunnels and when you finally reached the hiding spot, the sun had already risen. As they pulled out their guns and settled down you looked through the metal bars of the window, watching for any movement. It was the perfect hiding spot, being able to see but now be seen. You watched as Roan and Clarke made their way closer to the palace itself. “They’re here.” You informed the rest of the group. Bellamy came to stand beside you, a rifle in his hands as he stared through the scope.
“Are we even gonna be done fighting?” You heard Bryan’s quiet voice ask.
“Hell yeah.” Came Miller’s response. “We’re gonna build a house on a lake. We’re gonna plant corn.” They both chuckled.
They had hope, hope for a better future. And that was something beautiful. Yet you couldn’t help but feel a ting of jealousy in your heart. You used to live in a house just like Miller described, when times were peaceful. But you ruined that, you ruined the peace and happiness in that place.
“And raise chickens.” Bryan added with a chuckle, tearing you away from your thoughts. “And grow old.”
You turned your head to your right and saw Octavia’s fallen face. You knew she and Lincoln had the same plan, to move away from Arkadia and to start a life, just the two of them. While you had a memory of peace she didn’t have a clue of it. You decided against your better judgment and put your hand on her shoulder, making her look up. Her eyes softened for a second before she turned to look through the small window, yet she didn’t move your hand.
“1 o’clock.” Bellamy said, making you drop your hand and look past the window as well. Roan and Clarke were getting closer to the entry. “On the signal. He sees Ontari. We wait until she’s standing in front of them. Then we launch the gas.”
“How can you see something from here?” You asked while squinting your eyes.
“The scope.” He said and moved his head away from it. “Here.”
You looked through the scope and saw everything like a magnifying glass. There was Roan, holding the rope that was holding Clarke as his ‘hostage’. “That’s so cool.” You whispered, hearing him chuckle beside you.
“One day I’ll teach you how to use a gun, I think you’ll like it.”
You pulled away from the scope and turned to him, he was smiling slightly, bringing a small smile to your face as well. “I just might take you up in that offer.”
“They’re gonna be holding their breaths.” Bryan said, making you tear your eyes from Bellamy and turn to him. “So we gotta move fast.”
“Anyone who get in our way, we use non-lethal force. These people are not the enemy. They’re being controlled. They only thing we’re here to kill is Alie. Is that clear?” He said, looking between all of you.
“Clear.” Octavia responded, keeping her gaze on the window.
“Clear.” Miller as as well.
“Good.” Bellamy said before turning back to look into the scope. You couldn’t really see clearly from far away but you still tell which were Roan and Clarke. Bellamy flickered the light, signalling Roan. He stepped forward, raising his hand and between his fingers was the Flame.
“I am Roan, king of Azgeda.” He yelled out. “And I have what the Commander seeks.”
All the people around him rose from their knees and turned to him. From their right, a man came from the palace along with two guards, stopping in front of them.
“Who’s that?” You asked while keeping your eyes straight.
“Jaha.” Bellamy answered.
“What the fuck is he doing here?” Octavia asked angrily.
“You see Ontari?” Miller asked, turning to Bellamy.
“No. Hold.” He nodded at him before going back to the scope. “Something’s wrong.” He said after a few seconds. “Do it! Do it now!” He ordered Miller, his face panicked.
Miller and Bryan began preparing but before they could, people grabbed them and shoved them to the wall. “On your knees! Drop your weapon!”
You wanted to help them but another one grabbed you from behind. You knocked your head back and elbowed him in the rids but he didn’t budge, just like the guards on Luna’s rig. “Against the wall!” He yelled and shoved you to the wall. You saw all the others pinned to the wall. You tried to fight him but he tied your hands together roughly. They dragged you towards the palace through the tunnel and pushed you to your knees. They took Miller forward and started punching him.
“No! Stop!” Bryan yelled but the guard that was beside him punched him and shut him up.
The man who was delivering the punched to Miller’s face stopped, looking up. “Let’s go.”
“She wants Bellamy.” The one behind you said, making you fight harder against the restraints as they lifted him up. “No. No, stop!” You yelled, but got no answer but a punch to your jaw, knocking you to the ground, then a kick to your stomach. You groaned, trying to moved away.
“Leave her alone!” You heard Bellamy yell.
“Where are you taking him?” Octavia asked desperately, but they ignored her.
“Hey!” You yelled as you rose back to your knees. “She asked you a question, where the fuck are you taking him?!”
“Hey, it’s okay, it’s okay.” Bellamy said calmly as they dragged him down the tunnel.
“No.” You shook you head, knowing the the ‘she’ they were talking about was Allie. You couldn’t lose Bellamy, too.
“If I were you, I’d hit the deck.” You heard a voice yell from ahead of the tunnel. One guard pointed his flashlight forward, revealing a guy who looked about Bellamy’s age.
“Murphy?” Bellamy asked quietly. “Everyone hit the ground!” He yelled after a few seconds before dropping to the ground. You didn’t know who the guy was but you trusted Bellamy, so you fell to the ground as well. Gunshots were fired and you crawled in a ball on the ground, trying to not get hit. The sounds were loud, too loud for anything you were used to. You closed your eyes shut and waited until it stopped. When it finally stopped you opened your eyes, looking up and seeing the guy approach Bellamy. “Fancy meeting you here.”
“More will come. We have to hurry.” You heard Indra say as she approached Octavia, helping her out of her cuffs.
You saw Pike, walking over to Bellamy and releasing him from his restraints. You clenched your jaw in anger. Why the fuck was he still alive? You didn’t have time to even try and get up before Bellamy walked over to you, crouching down.
“Hey, are you okay?” He asked softly as he cut the rope that was bonding your wrists together. “Are you?” You asked and looked him over.
“Yes.”
He helped you up and you resisted the urge to hug him and pull him close to you, instead, you fixed your gaze on the man who killed your brother. Bellamy followed your gaze, then placed both of his hands on your shoulders and turned you to him. “None of that. Not now. I understand your anger, I do, but right now we need to figure out what we do.”
“Fine.” You said sternly with a clenched jaw, but he wasn’t convinced. He gently cupped you cheek and made you finally look at him and meet his eyes. “I’m said fine.”
“Just checking.” He said with a small smile and a wink. You resisted the smile that threatened to rise on your face and rolled your eyes.
“What are you doing here?” He asked Murphy.
“You’re welcome.” He said and then turned to look at you. “You got yourself a Grounder girlfriend, that’s cute. You got a little something..” he motioned with his hand to his face, making you roll your eyes. You opened your mouth to say something but stopped when you heard Octavia’s voice.
“You’re with Pike?”
“Only way we get out of here is together.” Indra said as she helped her up.
“He killed Lincoln.” She said, making the woman’s eyes turn to Pike. “Put him on his knees. Shot him in the head.”
“O. Indra’s right. We need every fighter we can get.” Bellamy said, but it only made her turn to him with a glare.
“Not him.” You muttered, making him turn to you with a look you couldn’t quite figure.
“Did you guys miss the part where it’s time to go?” Murphy said, making you tear your eyes from Bellamy and then to him.
“We’re not leaving.” Bellamy said and shook his head.
“We just saved your lives. Why do I think I’m gonna regret that?” He said annoyingly as he got closer to you.
“Clarke is in trouble.”
“Clarke’s always in trouble.” He rolled his eyes.
“They took her and the Flame to the tower. It’s a safe bet Ontari’s there, too. Everything we need to stop Allie is in the same place.” He explained, a desperate tone to his voice.
“If we go up that tower, we won’t be able to fight our way out again.” Octavia said as she approached him.
“If we stop Alie, we won’t have to.” You said, making sense of Bellamy’s idea. He nodded to you then looked back at Murphy. He sighed but handed Bellamy a gun. “Up the tower. Great. Does the Grounder know how to use a gun?” He asked him as if you weren’t standing beside him.
“She can.” You snapped, glaring at him. He smirked, not bothered by your glare.
“Just asking.” He shrugged, offering you a gun.
You rolled your eyes but took the gun from his hand, attaching it to your belt. “If we do this, we need a plan. Getting up that tower isn’t going to be easy.” You said and turned to Bellamy, hoping he had something in mind.
“We need a way up, one we can take and not be noticed.”
You nodded, thinking the options over in your head. “There’s the elevator. I’m guessing about two to three people are operating it so all we have to do is take them down and we have a way up.”
“And we won’t be noticed? Won’t they send backup?” Pike asked, making you move your gaze to him with a clenched jaw.
“No.” You said, not even trying to hide your glare. “There’s a ladder as well so some of us can take it.”
“Okay.” Bellamy said, nodding. “Lead the way.”
You started walking towards where the elevator was, hoping that not more than three men will be there. “Elevator? Really?” Bellamy asked as we walked beside you. “From the last time you were in an elevator, you didn’t really like it, did you?”
“Shut up.” You chuckled and pushed his chest gently.
After you got close enough you hid behind the wall, the two Grounders next to the wheel. Bellamy and Pike walked forward while the rest of you followed behind them. Pike raised his gun and shot both the Grounders dead. Your jaw clenched. Yet before you could say something, Bellamy beat you to it.
“Hey! I told you, that is not how we’re doing this.” He scolded him.
“They were in our way.” He said and walked past him.
“These people are not out enemy.” Bellamy argued as he walked beside him. “They’re being controlled by Alie and we can save them.”
“There’s gonna be a lot more if these people if we don’t move.” Miller said as you got closer to the wheel.
“I’ll bring it down.” Indra said and walked over to the handle, gripping it with both of her hands and pulling it down.
“Once we’re up, you blow the elevator and then climb.” Bellamy instructed.
“Destroy the ladder behind us. Got it.” Bryan said before turning to prepare everything they needed to blow the place up.
“Come on, you do realize we don’t have a way down, right?” Murphy said, eyeing Bellamy.
“A problem for another day.” Indra said, but his gaze stayed on Bellamy.
“Let’s go, our ride’s here.” Bellamy said, ignoring the problem Murphy brought up.
“I’m coming with you.” You said and stepped forward. He shook his head and opened his mouth to say something, but you quickly shut him up.
“I’m coming. You can’t stop me.”
You stared at each other for a couple of seconds before he sighed. “Fine. Let’s go.”
You stood still as the elevator moved, your hand was ready to reach for your knife and pull it out any second.
“You get that we’re screwed, right?” Murphy said, breaking the silence. “Allie already knows that we’re coming.”
“This plan will work.” You said, keeping your head on the door. “It has to, or else we’re all dead.”
“Where did you come from, anyway?” He asked, you resisted the urge to roll your eyes.
“I owe her my life.” Bellamy said, making you look up in surprise.
“That’s why you’re out here saving his people?” He asked you. You finally turned to look at him, seeing the slight smug look on hah face. “Shouldn’t he be doing you a favor?”
“He saved my life as well, so the feeling is mutual.” You said before glancing a Bellamy, finding his eyes already on you.
“Do you need some privacy? I mean, we’re in the middle of a war but sex doesn’t have a time, does it?”
You tore your eyes from Bellamy’s and looked back at the door, trying to ignore the hot feeling on your face. “Shut up, Murphy.” You heard Bellamy mutter from behind you. “Why are you here?”
“I’m just trying to survive.” Murphy said, his tone clean from the smugness from before. “You’re not the only one here trying to save someone you care about.” He added after a few seconds.
The elevator suddenly came to a stop. You looked behind at Bellamy and he nodded before grabbing your arm and pulling you beside him. You opened your mouth to protest but a loud banging interrupted you.
“Coming in.” He said before leaping forward, trying to hold the two doors together to keep anyone from barging in. You joined him, kicking the ones who tried to get in while putting pressure on the door.
“Murphy, get the baton ready.” Bellamy ordered him. Although you were trying to hold them, the doors kept opening until you could see who you were facing. “Shock him, Murphy!” Bellamy yelled.
He stepped forward and hit the man with the baton, sending him to the floor. Unfortunately for you, he wasn’t the only one you were dealing with. More and more came to the door and Murphy managed to shock them and keep the out. One of them grabbed Bellamy by his neck and pulled him out. “Bellamy!” You called as you grabbed him and pulled him back. You kicked who you could before you and Murphy tried to close the doors, but it seemed almost impossible. A man jumped into the elevator, sending you to the floor with him. He started punching you but you blocked his third blow and flipped over. You pulled out your knife and stabbed him in the leg, hoping it was enough to keep him down but it wasn’t. He tried to get your knife and when he couldn’t, he sent a punch to your eye, then climbed back on top of you. He wrapped his hands around your neck and started choking you. You stabbed him in his stomach three times but he didn’t let go. You raised your hand to stab him neck and pushed the knife in, but he didn’t let go. It was like he was dying but he couldn’t feel it, five stab wounds, one in the neck, and he still wasn’t down. A shot rang through the elevator and he dropped on top on you, dead. His hands finally loosened and you gasped for air. His body was pulled from you and you saw Bellamy crouching down beside you.
“Hey, hey, are you okay?” He asked and gently held your head in his hands.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” You said, nodding your head as you tired to catch your breath. “Are you?”
“I’m good.” He reassured you before helping you up.
“Five stab wounds and he wasn’t down. I have no idea how we’re gonna manage to get to the throne room.”
The elevator started moving again, alerting you that you were getting closer to the top floor. You climbed up on top on the elevator and pulled your masks on. You waited until you heard noises from below you, meaning someone was there. Bellamy opened the hatchet and threw in the metal container. Soon enough, there was pink gas leaking through the hatchet. You waited a few seconds before climbing down and walking down the hall. You led them to the throne room, turning around the corner. You stopped in front of it and took off your masks before entering. Clarke was tied up, blood dripping from the wounds on her chest. “Bellamy, stop him!” She yelled.
You ran to her, releasing her from the restraints. “Are you okay?” You asked as you cut the final piece from around her neck. “Is she alive? Is she breathing?” She asked Murphy desperately, only then you noticed her mother, dropping to the floor from being hung by the neck.
“It’s okay. She’s breathing.” He reassured her.
She nodded before turning to you. “Jaha had the Flame. Get it.” She instructed you, pointing to the man who was laying on the floor. You nodded and ran to him, crouching down and searching his pockets. “I got the Flame.” You said as you head the small chip in your hand.
“Her pulse is weak.” Clarke said from her spot beside Ontari. Black blood was dripping from the wound on her head to the floor, you were careful not to touch it when you moved beside her.
“At least she’s alive.” Bellamy said and moved to stand beside you.
“Here, hold this to the wound.” She said to Murphy, handing him a piece of fabric. He did as she asked and pressed it beneath her head.
“Come on, what are we gonna do?” He asked, turning to look at Bellamy.
“I need a flashlight.” Clarke said, her voice breaking.
“First we take out the chip. Then we put in the Flame.” Bellamy said as he pulled the EMP out of his bag.
“Her pupils are unresponsive.” Clarke said, drawing your attention to her.
“What does that mean?” You asked her. She turned to you, an almost defeated look on her face. “She’s brain dead. She can’t give us the kill code.”
“Fuck..” you muttered, running your hand down your face. You were trapped inside a tower with people trying to kill you all around it, and your last hope was gone. There was no way you will make it out alive, not when the time was running out and you had nowhere to run. You looked over a Bellamy, the same defeated look on his face. His eyes met yours and you saw the hopelessness in them. You wanted to tell him that everything was going to be okay but you weren’t so sure about that.
“We’re trapped here.” Murphy said, but your eyes stayed on Bellamy. You sighed, knowing that death was knocking on the door, and didn’t have a choice but to let it in.

‘Privileged’ Masterlist
-----------------
"Becca's journal is amazing. At 26, she found a pathway to access a human mind.”
*yn* tore her gaze away from the rover’s window to look at Raven.
“That same year, she had to lock up A.L.I.E. because her answer for what was wrong with the world was too many people.” Raven continued as she flicked through Becca’s journal. *yn* peered over Raven’s shoulder, her eyes travelling over the rough sketches and mathematical equations. They might as well have been written in gibberish.
“She was 27 when it launched the bombs."
“What did she write about the flame?” Clarke queried, swivelling around in the passenger seat to face Raven.
"Well it’s A.L.I.E. 2.0. Becca saw it as a way to atone for her sins. She designed it to not just access a human mind but to merge with one. It could never wipe us out because it would be one of us. She would have put it in herself first, altered her genes so her body wouldn't reject the implant.”
“The gene therapy made her blood black, didn't it?” Clarke queried causing Raven to look up at her in surprise.
“Yeah, it did.” Raven nodded, causing *yn*’s brow to furrow in confusion.
“And you know that because...?” *yn* trailed off.
“Nightblood. That's where it came from.” Clarke explained. “Somehow it became hereditary. Luna has it. That's why we have to find her. If she can access ALIE two..."
“-She can tell us how to stop ALIE one...." Octavia murmured in realisation.
"Get back to the mind pathway.” Monty piped up, causing all eyes to turn to him. “If ALIE uses it to upload our minds to the City of Light, then there's a chance my mom's still alive?” He queried, flickering his eyes up from the chip clutched in his hands. There was a pause as *yn* felt a wave of sympathy wash over her as she studied Monty’s desperate features.
"That depends on your definition of "alive", Monty.” Raven answered softly. *yn* placed a hand on Monty’s shoulder and squeezed it in an attempt to comfort him as the rover fell silent.
She looked down at her lap when she felt warm skin brushing against her own. She shot Raven a soft smile as Raven threaded her fingers through *yn*’s, squeezing her hand tightly once they were entwined.
*yn* glanced across from her and stiffened when her eyes met Elijah’s. She swallowed and averted her gaze from his, turning her attention to the front of the rover. There, instead of finding a reprieve, she found herself staring back at Bellamy who was studying her through the rearview mirror.
The rover was starting to feel a little bit too crowded for her liking.
“We’re almost home.” Bellamy announced as he reverted his gaze back to the landscape in front of him.
“Miller, come in.” Bellamy spoke into the radio. “Harper, you there? Ride is two minutes out.” Bellamy continued when he got no reply.
*yn*’s brow furrowed as he was met with complete silence.
“Good start.” Jasper remarked as the rover slowed down to a stop.
“Nothing new for us then.” *yn* quipped as she pushed open the back door to the rover and jumped out onto the grass. “Don’t even think about it” She ordered, shooting Raven a warning look as Raven moved to follow after her. “You stay here.” She continued as Octavia and Elijah jumped out after her. Before Raven could protest *yn* slammed the door shut, keeping her, Sinclair, Monty and Jasper inside.
“Keep your eyes sharp.” Bellamy spoke as he raised his gun up into position. *yn* slid her blade out of her pants, gripping it tightly in one hand with a small gun in the other. The group slowly edged out of the tree line and into the open, revealing Arkadia.
“It’s been two days since we left, why the hell haven’t they fixed the gate?” Clarke remarked as they slowly approached the entrance.
“Maybe because there’s no one here to fix it.”
Something was wrong, very wrong.
*yn*’s eyes darted around nervously as they slowly made their way into Arkadia, the rover trailing behind them. It was like a ghost town. Everywhere she looked there was nothing but empty space. It was like everyone had vanished into thin air.
“I don’t like this.” She spoke, glancing over her shoulder at the rest of the group on foot.
“Miller, where the hell are you?” Bellamy spoke, frustration laced through his tone as he picked up the radio once more.
“Maybe they got chipped.” Jasper suggested.
“If they got chipped they would have waited for us at the cave, they would have ambushed us or something.” *yn* answered back.
“Maybe they saw the open gate and went in for Lincoln’s book.” Elijah suggested.
“Maybe you should all stop saying ‘maybe’.” Octavia huffed.
“If they are chipped, then ALIE already knows we’re coming.” Clarke spoke, ignoring Octavia’s comment.
*yn* opened her mouth to respond but clamped it shut as they made their way into the centre of Arkadia. She felt her stomach churn as her eyes fell on crimson liquid pooling in the mud.
Lincoln.
“Let’s get his book and get the hell out of here.” Octavia spoke up, her voice cracking slightly as she did. *yn* tore her eyes from the blood before her to Octavia, her heart aching at the grief evident on her features.
“That’s a plan I can support.” Jasper remarked as Octavia turned on her heels and marched towards the main building.
*yn* hurried after her, intentionally keeping her eyes focused on the rover in front of her.
“Close it up and turn the rover around, we may need to get out of here quickly.” She heard Bellamy say as everyone piled inside once the garage gate creaked open.
*yn* hovered near Raven as the metal door slammed shut once they were all inside, engulfing the room in darkness. She waited patiently as Raven carefully stepped out of the rover.
The pair wandered over to the communal area, *yn* feeling her concern levels rising as she noted the abandoned, half eaten meals with food still on cutlery, and playing cards and books scattered everywhere, as if they’d been dumped in a hurry.
“It’s like they just got up and left.” Clarke remarked, voicing *yn*’s own thoughts.
“We should just get in and out. No fucking around.” *yn* spoke, her eyes still surveying the room.
“Let’s pack as much gear as we can into the rover.” Bellamy suggested.
“I’ll get the map.” Octavia announced, hurrying off towards Lincoln’s room.
“I’ll go with her, no one should be alone.” Jasper said, trailing after her.
“What’s the rush? They won’t be coming back.” Raven queried, fiddling with her sling.
“How do you know?”
“ALIE’s mission is to chip everyone, it wouldn’t make sense to return to a place she already took.” Raven explained.
“Well, it might make sense if there was someone in that place who could tell us stuff like that.” Sinclair remarked, shooting Raven a pointed look.
“Good point.” Raven conceded.
“Like I said, let’s get in and out.” *yn* spoke up, to which everyone nodded. She could feel Elijah and Bellamy’s eyes on her as she turned on her heel to make her way out of the main room. She slowed down in the hallway when she heard the uneven steps of Raven limping behind her.
“You seem very eager to load gear.” Raven remarked when *yn* came to a stop and glanced over her shoulder.
“This place is creeping me out.” *yn* answered, waiting for Raven to catch up with her before the pair continued.
“Even though it was, or is, meant to be our home.” *yn* sighed, her eyes flickering over the interior of the Ark. It was strange to think that just over six months ago this had been carrying them up in space.
“Maybe it’s time to find a brand new one. One without a reminder of our shitty past.” Raven answered as they made their way into a supply room.
“I could get onboard with that.” *yn* said as she began to shove supplies into a backpack. “Put it at the top of our ‘things we need to do if we survive this shitstorm’ agenda.” *yn* remarked dryly which caused Raven to let out a chuckle.
The pair fell into a comfortable silence, the only sound was the shuffling of supplies being dragged from the shelves. *yn* let out a small sigh as they worked in silence, letting herself steal a glance over her shoulder at Raven.
“Raven?” *yn* queried, her brow furrowed in concern when she saw Raven standing motionlessly, staring blankly at a bag of wheat in front of her. “Is everything ok?” *yn* continued, speaking softly as she placed her bag down and approached her.
“Um I’m fine I-” Raven cut herself off, seeming to snap out of a sort of trance when *yn* placed a hand on her shoulder.
“I was just thinking.” She spoke as she turned to face *yn*.
“About...?”
“About you... about us.” She admitted quietly. “I mean- not that there’s an us I-” She stammered, feeling herself grow red at the sight of *yn*’s raised brows. *yn* stood patiently, watching Raven inhale deeply and compose herself before speaking again.
“I just meant.” Another pause. “Even though I was chipped, I remember everything.”
“And by everything you mean...” *yn* trailed off, feeling her heart hammer in her chest as she studied the girl before her.
“When I kissed you in the control room and you stopped me. When you told me you had too much going on.”
“Raven I-”
“Just- just let me finish ok?” Raven cut her off, sending her an almost pleading look. *yn* opened her mouth to speak but cut herself off, instead sending Raven a nod of encouragement. Raven shot her a look of gratitude before inhaling sharply.
“I just wanted to say that I get it. That even though I have feelings for you, I understand that with everything going on with ALIE and Pike and Bellamy and Elijah... it’s too much. The last thing you want to deal with is some crippled girl pining after you-”
“Raven don’t you dare talk about yourself like that.” *yn* snapped, anger coursing through her veins. “You’re one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. And I -”
“-*yn*, please.” Raven interrupted her once more, leaning up to cup *yn*’s cheek in her hand. “Let me let myself go.” She hoarsely whispered as tears welled up in her eyes. “For you.”
“Raven...” *yn* murmured. There was a part of her that was screaming at her to fight for Raven. But there was another part of her that was telling her that this was for the best. That it was wrong to keep Raven on tender-hooks when *yn* knew her heart was already being torn in multiple directions.
“If things had been different...”
“But they’re not.” Raven sighed. “Timing’s a bitch.” She deadpanned causing *yn* to let out a breathless laugh.
“I’ll always be here for you *yn*, and maybe in the future the timing will be right for us.” Raven continued as she pulled *yn* into a tight embrace.
“But for now, you need to focus on keeping us all alive.”
“Just promise me I won’t lose you, even as a friend.” *yn* whispered into Raven’s neck as she wrapped her arms around her.
“Of course I promise, you can’t get rid of me that easily. I just need some time.” Raven reassured her.
“Thank you Raven.” *yn* murmured, squeezing her tightly. The pair stayed like that for a few moments, simply enjoying the feeling of being in each other’s arms before they both reluctantly pulled away.
“I’ll give you some space.” *yn* heard herself say when she noticed that Raven was still fighting to keep her tears at bay. Raven nodded, shooting her one last tight lipped smile before she turned her back on *yn* to continue gathering the supplies.
*yn* knew that Raven didn’t want her to see her cry.
----------------------
“What did you find?”
Bellamy turned around in surprise at the sound of *yn*’s voice. She looked at him expectantly as she came to a stand still, her arms folded across her chest.
“Weapons, tonnes of them. And bullets.” Bellamy explained, gesturing to the practically full armoury.
“Shit.” She breathed out. “I guess ALIE doesn’t think her army needs weapons.”
“Lucky us.” Another voice interjected.
Elijah appeared through the doorway of the armoury, keeping his eyes locked on the weapons in front of him as he avoided *yn*’s gaze.
“Where are the others? You radioed everyone right?” *yn* asked before an awkward silence could break out.
“I did.” Bellamy confirmed.
“Raven, Sinclair, Monty and Clarke were all in the hanger before I left to scope out any other supplies.” Elijah spoke.
“Can you try them on the radio Bell?” *yn* queried, inwardly cursing herself as the nickname involuntary slipped out.
“Uh- yeah, I can.” Bellamy nodded, clearly taken aback by the sound of the nickname rolling off her tongue. “Raven, do you come in?”
“Yeah I’m here, what’s up? Is everything ok?” Raven’s voice crackled through the radio and *yn* let out a sigh of relief.
“Where are you? Have you heard from the others?” Bellamy asked.
“Sinclair and I are still in the hanger, Clarke and Monty left to meet you at the armoury. They aren’t there?”
The three exchanged concerned glances.
“No. We haven’t.”
“Anyone seen or heard from Octavia and Jasper?” *yn* queried to which she was met with two shaking heads.
“Is everything ok?” Raven spoke up.
“Just stay where you are Raven, we’ll make our way back to you.” *yn* replied, before Bellamy turned off the radio after Raven responded in confirmation.
She fell silent as her mind began to race and an all too familiar pit in her stomach began to form.
“You’re having one of those feelings, aren’t you?” Bellamy murmured as he studied her body language and facial features.
“Something’s wrong.” She mumbled, more to herself than to anyone else.
“We need to find the others.” She continued, pulling out her blade and hurrying outside before either Elijah or Bellamy could utter a word.
The pair exchanged brief glancing before pulling out their weapons and following after her.
“*yn* don’t you think we should wait to see if we hear from anyone before we race in, we don’t even have a plan if something is wrong.” Elijah called out as him and Bellamy raced to catch up with her.
“I have a plan.” *yn* answered back as they crossed the square to head back inside the main building.
“And that is....?” Bellamy queried.
“Find where our friends are and kill anyone who tried to hurt them.” She responded nonchalantly.
“Of course. Why didn’t we think of that.” Elijah remarked dryly which caused a smirk to involuntarily twitch up onto Bellamy’s lips.
“Hey I never said you two had to come along.” *yn* shot back, shaking her head in amusement as the three made their way inside.
They slowed down to a stop once they were deep inside the building.
“Clarke! Monty!” *yn* shouted out.
Suffocating silence responded.
“Maybe we should head back to the hanger and decide-” Elijah was cut off as *yn* pressed a finger to his lips. He studied her in confusion, watching her as she stiffened up and stared at the hallway behind him.
“Did you hear that?” She whispered.
Before either of them could reply a scuffling sound echoed down the hallway, followed by a large bang.
“It’s coming from the direction of the control room.” Bellamy murmured to which *yn* nodded in agreement. *yn* glanced over at Elijah, realising her finger was still pressed to his lips. “Sorry.” She apologised, gently dragging her finger away from his lips.
“It’s ok.” Elijah answered softly, studying her intently which made *yn* blush slightly as she moved away from him towards the control room.
“Ever occurred to you that we might be walking into a trap?” Bellamy remarked as the three made their way into the control room.
“It did. And I decided I didn’t care.” *yn* responded as she slowed down, her eyes flitting around the derelict surroundings for any sign of life.
“Well, there doesn’t appear to be anyone here.” Elijah stated after the trio spent a few more minutes exploring the room. “I think we should head back and see if we can find the others.”
“Yeah,” *yn* let out a sigh as she finally relented. “You’re probably right.”
“Maybe we can see if any of the security cameras are still working and see if we can spot anyone. Or explore outside the boundaries.” Bellamy suggested.
“Good plan, let’s-” *yn* cut herself off as the sound of metal clanging the ground entered her ears.
The three of them swivelled around to see a metal ball rolling towards them. *yn* stiffened as she stared at it curiously as it grew closer, finally coming to a halt when it came into contact with her boot. Before anyone could say anything the ball shuddered and opened.
*yn* felt terror rush through her as red gas spilled out.
The memory of being alone in the forest and fleeing from the gas before slipping into unconsciousness filled her mind. Before she’d woken up trapped in Mount Weather.
“Fuck.” Bellamy cursed, recognising it instantly. *yn* jerked her head around at the sound of the door sliding shut.
They were locked in.
“We’ve gotta move before it knocks us out, cover your faces.” *yn* ordered, hastily yanking off her shirt to wrap around her face. “There’s an emergency button on the left that’ll open the door.” Bellamy explained.
“Bellamy!” His name slipped past *yn*’s lips when she looked up to see a masked figure suddenly appear behind him. Bellamy turned around just in time, swinging the butt of his gun at his head.
The figure groaned as Bellamy made contact, forceful enough to make him stumble back.  “Hurry!” Bellamy shouted, turning his back on him as the three of them sprinted towards the door.
“The door will only stay open momentarily before sealing shut.” Bellamy continued as they approached the bright red emergency button. *yn* could feel her mind going hazy as the gas slowly seeped its way through the fabric of her shirt.
*yn* let out a grunt as she felt something hit her back, causing her to topple to the floor. She flipped over onto her back just in time before the masked figure lunged at her, pushing their entire body weight into pinning her to the ground.
“*yn*!” Bellamy and Elijah shouted simultaneously.
“Just open the fucking door!” *yn* called back, grunting as the figure attempted to rip her makeshift mask from her face. She leant forward and smashed her head against theirs, causing them to be dazed momentarily. Seeing an opportunity she pushed with all of her force, managing to wriggle out from underneath them.
Manoeuvring herself so she was straddling them, she landed a punch to their jaw causing them to slump to the ground. Satisfied, she hastily rose to her feet, stumbling slightly as the gas continued to grow more effective. She would be unconscious in a matter of minutes.
She looked to her left to see the boys had just managed to pry open the safety glass and had slammed the button, with the door now open. “Let’s go!” *yn* urged as they hurriedly met her in the centre of the room. The boys were only steps ahead of her as they ran towards the door, all of them becoming more clumsy and slow as the seconds ticked by.
*yn* glanced over her shoulder, her eyes widening when she saw that their chaser had gotten up to their feet and was now hot on their heels. “Hurry!” She yelled, her heart pounding in her chest when she saw that the door was beginning to slide shut.
She could practically feel the masked person’s breath on the back of her neck, swearing at one point that she felt their fingers scrape her back. The gap was getting smaller and smaller by the second as they grew closer.
Her eyes darted between the two men in front of her and realised the gap would be too small for all three of them to get through one at a time.
They weren’t all going to make it.
She squeezed her eyes shut as she felt the pursuer’s fingers graze her neck and with all the energy she could muster she lunged forward. Her body colliding with another as she gripped onto him and pushed with all of her might.
Her vision was growing blurry as she felt the body underneath hers land with a smack on the ground. Her own body slammed against his as they hit the floor, simultaneously the door shutting with a sick thud behind them.
She pulled her shirt off over her face and gasped for air as she desperately tried to rid her lungs of the gas. “Are you ok?” A familiar voice breathed out from beneath her.
Hands were on her face and back, tracing her body for any sign of injury. She blinked a few times as she felt her head clearing and glanced down.
Bellamy’s concerned features stared back at her.
“Elijah.” She mumbled, crawling off Bellamy as she shakily got to her feet. “Elijah.” She repeated, this time louder as she pressed her hands against the door.
“*yn* we’ve got to go, we need to find the others.”
“I can’t, Elijah is in there. We need to help him.” She answered as she tried to pull the door open.
“He’ll be unconscious by now, there’s nothing we can do right now. We’ll only get ourselves caught or killed.” Bellamy winced as the last word escaped his lips and he saw the realisation dawn on *yn*’s face. “I have to save him.” She muttered, although Bellamy could see her resolve waning.
“Ba- *yn* come on, we need to get out of here before whoever that was comes after us.” Bellamy pleaded with her, placing a hand on her forearm. She stilled her desperate movements at the feeling of his skin against hers. Bellamy swallowed and quickly removed his hand as she looked up at him.
A bang on the other side of the door made *yn* jump slightly, shattering the trance like state she was in. “Let’s go, we need to head back to Raven.” She nodded, her survival instincts kicking in as she pulled her hands off the door. Bellamy nodded and the pair broke out into a sprint towards the hanger.
“*yn*! Bellamy!” A voice shouted out as they turned a corner into the hallway that led to the hanger.
“Clarke!” *yn* breathed a sigh of relief as her eyes fell on her best friend. “Thank god you’re ok.” She continued, closing the gap between the pair as they embraced in a tight hug.
“Where’s Monty?” Bellamy queried as he joined the pair.
“Emerson took him.” Clarke explained.
“Emerson?” *yn* echoed, her brow furrowing in confusion. “From Mount Weather?”
“How is that possible?” Bellamy queried when Clarke nodded in response.
“Because I didn’t kill him, I let him go.”
“What are you talking about?”
“In Polis. I had a chance to kill him and I let him go. This is all my fault, Miller, Harper, that’s why we haven’t heard from them he’s-” Clarke began, tears welling up in her eyes as she spoke.
“What about the others? Octavia? Raven?” *yn* queried, speaking softly in an attempt to calm down Clarke.
“I spoke to Raven.” Clarke nodded as she took a deep breath. “She’s still with Sinclair in the hanger. I told them to stay put but then I heard footsteps and that was when I found you.”
“Ok, let’s make sure they’re ok first and then we can find the others.” Bellamy spoke.“Let’s go in from the outside, we’re less likely to get caught in a trap if we come in from the open.”
Clarke and *yn* nodded in agreement before they all hurried towards the hanger.
“Wait, where’s Elijah? Wasn’t he with you two?” Clarke queried as they made their way outside.
“Raven! Sinclair!” Bellamy called out as the three approached the hanger door. He edged in slowly with *yn* following closely behind him.
“Emerson has him.” *yn* answered quietly, guilt overwhelming her at the thought of Elijah lying there, unconsciousness and defenceless. “It’s my fault.”
“Fuck.” Bellamy hissed, distracting Clarke from asking *yn* what she meant. *yn* stepped out from behind Bellamy, her eyes instantly falling on the reason for his curse.
“Sinclair.” His name slipped out from her lips at the sight of his body lying motionless on the floor.
“No.” Clarke murmured from behind her, the pair hurrying to his side.
*yn* watched Clarke press two fingers to his neck as she felt tears pool in the corners of her eyes. She didn’t need Clarke’s confirmation to know that he was dead.
“We're too late.” Bellamy breathed out as Clarke gently closed his eyes.
“No we’re not.” Clarke shook her head. “He didn’t kill Monty or Raven, he would have left their bodies. He took them somewhere.”
*yn* stayed silent as she gently stroked Sinclair’s face.
Another friend, gone.
“If you’re right, then Octavia and the others are there too.” Bellamy murmured in realisation.
“Elijah.” *yn* breathed out, finally tearing her eyes away from Sinclair to look at the pair. “Where would he be taking them?”
“He could be anywhere.” Bellamy sighed. “Does he even know his way around?”
“He was here. You were both in Mount Weather.” Clarke answered and *yn* watched as something dawned on her. “The airlock.”
*yn* rose to her feet as she watched Clarke hurriedly grab the radio, bringing it to her lips. “Emerson, I know you’re listening. We need to talk.”
The three fell silent, watching the radio with bated breath. They grew even more tense as it crackled to life, “I don’t need to do anything.”
*yn* recognised the voice instantly. The one she’d become all too familiar with in Mount Weather. Emerson.
“You should have killed me when you had the chance.”
“And now you’re here to kill me is that it?” Clarke answered back.
“Something like that.”
“Then let my friends go.” She snarled. “Do that, and you can have me.” Her words made *yn* take a step towards her, a worried look on her features.
“Brave, Clarke. I’ll give you that. They’re lucky to have a friend like you.”
“I know what I’m doing.” Clarke murmured to her, sending her a reassuring look before bringing the radio back up to her face.
“Come to the airlock, alone. No weapons. Right now.”
Clarke let out a sigh, shoving the radio in her pocket as she turned to *yn*.
“Before you even say it, you’re insane if you think you’re going in there alone.” *yn* spoke up. “So don’t even think about trying to mater yourself.”
“But-”
“*yn*’s right. We don’t know what happened between you and Emerson in Polis, but we do know that letting yourself be killed by him right now is a stupid plan.” Bellamy interjected, his jaw set in determination as he studied Clarke.
“You guys have a better one?” Clarke queried, her once determined features slowly eroding.
“You distract him, Bellamy and I can figure out a way to kill him and get the others out.” *yn* answered, Bellamy nodding in agreement.
“Let’s go.” *yn* continued, her eyes involuntarily darting to Bellamy. The pair locked eyes briefly and she forced herself to look away, clearing her throat and nodded awkwardly, “We need to free our friends.”
Clarke watched as *yn* stole another glance at Bellamy before she turned on her heel and hurried towards the airlock.
“What the hell happened with Elijah?” Clarke queried, turning to Bellamy once *yn* was out of earshot. “She said it was her fault, what did she mean by that?” Clarke pressed when Bellamy turned to watch *yn* go.
“She-” He cut himself off, inhaling deeply before turning his attention to Clarke. “We were in the control room and we were trying to escape from Emerson. The door was closing and we were both in front of her and *yn* must have realised that there wasn’t enough time or room for us all to get out.” He explained.
“She had to choose between you.” Clarke breathed out in realisation, as Bellamy stiffly nodded in response. Her eyes grew wide as she studied Bellamy and she couldn’t control the little bundle of happiness that surged inside her.
“She chose you.”
--------------------
“I held up my part of the deal. Your turn. Let my friends go.”
*yn* pressed her back against the wall, watching as Clarke approached the airlock slowly, her hands raised in surrender.
“Tell Bellamy to show himself first.”
Fuck.
“I don’t know what-” Clarke began but was cut off by the sound of Octavia screaming in pain.
*yn*’s grip on her gun tightened as she turned to Bellamy to tell him to stay put but she was too late. He was already stepping out of his hiding spot and into Emerson’s view.
Emerson yanked Octavia’s head back and pressed a knife to her throat. “Good. Now take out the clip and put the gun on the ground. Then get inside.”
“Please, you wanted me. I’ll get inside once you let them go.” Clarke responded.
“I was talking to Bellamy, not you.” Emerson answered, pressing the knife into Octavia’s chest.
“Ok, ok. Just stop.” Bellamy pleaded as red liquid began spilling out onto Octavia’s chest.
“Bellamy don’t.” Clarke whispered as he slowly placed the gun on the ground, kicking it out of his reach.
*yn* inwardly cursed as she kept herself glued to the wall. She could hear Bellamy’s footsteps growing quieter as he approached the airlock. “Those are yours.” She heard Emerson say followed by the clanging of metal.
Handcuffs.
She gritted her teeth, her hold on her gun growing increasingly tight as she mentally prepared herself to take the shot. She only had one chance.
“Now *yn* next.”
She felt a breath lodge in her throat.
“Come on *yn* don’t be shy, I know you’re lurking around somewhere.” Emerson continued.
A few moments of silence stretched on as *yn* stayed rooted in place.
“Fine.” Emerson called out. “Let’s see if the other Blake sibling bleeds just as easily.”
“Fuck.” *yn* hissed under her breath, wincing at the sound of Bellamy’s grunts of pain. Before she could overthink her actions she tossed her gun out onto the floor and stepped out into Emerson’s line of view.
“That wasn’t so hard was it?” Emerson smirked, eyeing *yn* as she raised her hands up. “Get inside.”
Her eyes darted to Bellamy to see blood spilling out onto his shirt, his eyes wide with fear as he shook his head at her, silently pleading with her to run. She felt bile rise in her throat at the sight of her other friends, their eyes all full of terror as they stared back at her. Her eyes landed on Elijah, her heart sinking at the sight of him on the floor, bound and gagged as he looked back at her.
It was her fault he was here.
“Now.” He demanded as he moved his knife towards Bellamy once more.
She swallowed and tore her eyes from Elijah as she slowly began making her way towards Emerson. The second she was within striking range she leant down to her pocket, suddenly brandishing a blade. She lunged forward towards Emerson, channeling all the rage she had.
Emerson seemed to have predicted this, gripping her arm that held the knife and smashing her around the head with the butt of his gun. Momentarily dazed, she stumbled back, allowing Emerson to rip the knife from her hands and shove her against the wall.
“*yn*!” Clarke shouted.
“Stay there or she dies.” She heard Emerson spit back in response.
She could faintly hear grunts and moans of protest from the others as they struggled against their restraints. She could feel something brushing against her arm and she turned her head to see that Bellamy was handcuffed to the wall right beside her - so close that they could literally touch.
“I spent hours analysing and watching you in Mount Weather. You don’t think I picked up on a few of your little party tricks?” Emerson growled into her ear as he pressed the barrel of the gun to her temple.
“Get in the handcuffs now.”
*yn* blinked a few times as her vision began to clear and she glanced up to see an extra pair of handcuffs that were attached to the same ring as Bellamy’s. She glanced at him momentarily before she slowly leant up and strapped herself into the restraints. She felt her stomach drop as the last handcuff clicked closed.
“I should kill you right now.” He hissed. “If Cage hadn’t been so fucking obsessed with you we might have survived.”
“He might have been an evil piece of shit but at least he had good taste.” *yn* remarked back, wincing as the gun pressed harder into her skin.
“Always the one putting on a brave face. Until we finally broke you in Mount Weather, that is.” Emerson chuckled causing *yn* to flinch. “If I had time I’d torture you all over again. But that’s not part of my plan.”
*yn*’s head slumped against the wall as Emerson finally removed the gun from her head and turned his attention back to Clarke.
“Now, get on your knees.” Emerson ordered, pointing his gun to Clarke. “Hands behind your head.”
*yn* locked eyes with Clarke and shook her head as she watched her best friend comply. *yn* tugged at the restraints but to no avail. She was well and truly trapped.
She watched as Emerson stepped out of the airlock, his gun never leaving Clarke’s head. She felt panic rise up in her as he pressed a button and the doors to the airlock slammed shut. *yn* flinched as she heard a thump at the door and glanced past Bellamy to see Clarke’s face pressed against the glass.
"You murdered 381 people. You took the lives of my children, my brother, my friends. Did you really think that I would be happy with just one life in return, hmm?" She heard Emerson snarl through the glass.
*yn* felt the panic begin to rise up in her chest as realisation fully dawned on her. None of them were going to make it out alive.
She began to writhe against her restraints desperately as Emerson took a few steps back and slammed his clenched fist onto a button. The airlock lighting turned red and *yn* immediately felt the air begin to thin.
She could see Emerson saying something to Clarke but *yn* couldn’t make out what it was he was saying over the siren that had begun to wail mercilessly. *yn* let out a scream of frustration as she pulled with all of her might against the handcuffs, pressing her feet against the wall to use every last ounce of her strength. She could see Octavia slipping into unconsciousness beside her as she felt her own strength rapidly deteriorate.
“*yn*.” Bellamy spoke quietly, she paused and turned to look at him as she felt herself growing weaker. Her body fell limp in defeat as they locked eyes, both of them with tears rolling down their cheeks. He shook his head slightly as his legs gave out from under him and he dangled from his handcuffs.
She knew what he was saying.
There was nothing they could do.
Her own legs collapsed underneath her and she could feel her vision starting to grow blurry. She weakly lifted her head up as she felt Bellamy’s clammy fingers brushing against her own. She blinked rapidly as tears continued to spill down her cheeks as she messily entwined her digits with his. With the last ounce of energy she had left she turned her head and nodded weakly in understanding before pressing her forehead to his.
She felt her eyes flutter shut as Bellamy squeezed her hand and pressed his forehead firmly against hers. “*yn*.” He breathed out as he felt her fingers begin to loosen around his. Bellamy’s own eyes began to droop as he watched *yn*’s head loll back as she slipped into unconsciousness.
"Any last words?” Emerson whispered to Clarke.
“Yeah, Ascende... superius.” Clarke gasped out before slamming the chip into Emerson’s neck.
Emerson spluttered as the chip buried itself into his neck and travelled up to his brain. Clarke shoved him off her as he began to gargle before slamming the button to the airlock.
The door slid open and she dragged herself forward as oxygen flooded back into the space. Clarke let out a sigh of relief as she watched her friends almost immediately begin to twitch and show signs of life.
*yn* let out a gasp as oxygen suddenly flooded her brain and her eyes sprung open. She spluttered as her lungs began to work overtime to collect the air they had been denied as her vision began to clear.
She turned and felt relief wash over her as she saw Bellamy slowly coming too. “Are you ok?” She heard herself whisper to him.
“Yeah..” He breathed out before breaking out into a coughing fit as a result of his exertion. “Don’t strain yourself.” She ordered, unable to hide the concern in her voice.
Her words made a small smile appear on his features as he squeezed her hands that were still restrained beside his. “I’m fine, I promise.”
“Good, now lets get the fuck out of these handcuffs.”
------------------
*yn* felt her lip quiver as Octavia let out a heart wrenching scream. Her eyes never left Lincoln’s body that was placed on the pyre in front of her. She clenched her jaw and blindly reached out to take Clarke’s hand as tears of her own spilled down her cheeks. Her eyes then turned to Sinclair’s body, where Raven had a hand pressed gently to his chest as she said her goodbyes.
Two more friends dead. Two more of her people gone.
She wiped her tears away with the back of her hand and took a step forward. “May we meet again.” She murmured to Sinclair, placing a hand on his shoulder.
She then turned to Lincoln, her eyes quickly filling with tears once more as she stared down at his body.
“Ge smak daun, gyon op nodotaim.” *yn* whispered to him, smiling softly as she brushed a hand against his cheek. “Goodbye brother.”
With that she took a step back beside Clarke as Octavia moved forward, a flaming torch in her hand.
“yu gonplei ste odon.” Octavia spoke as she leant down and pressed the flame to the pyre.
“yu gonplei ste odon.” *yn* and a few others echoed as the wood caught alight.
*yn* inhaled sharply as Clarke reached over and grabbed her hand as they watched the flames grow higher and stronger.
“yu gonplei ste odon.” She heard Bellamy whisper to himself from beside Clarke.
*yn* looked over to Octavia to see her staring at Bellamy, her expression difficult  to read. *yn* watched as her face slowly contorted from one of pure grief to one of cold, detached anger.
“It’s time to go.” Octavia announced, her voice still shaking. “I’ll get the map.”
*yn* moved to follow after her but was stopped when she felt a hand gently grip her wrist. “I need to talk to you.”
She glanced up, her eyes widening slightly when she was met with Elijah. “Yeah.” She nodded, noting his determined features. “Of course.”
He nodded before turning on his heel and heading off towards the outskirts of the camp, not bothering to wait up for her. She let out a small sigh and trudged after him.
They ventured further away from the pyre, the voices of their friends and the crackling of the wood growing quieter with every step. Once Elijah was satisfied that they were far enough away he came to a stop.
“Elijah...” She murmured, concern written all over her features as she noticed the pain etched on his own.
“I just want to say. I’m not angry that we haven’t been able to talk. I know these last few days, well the last year actually, has been fucked. And the timing right now is probably not great either but if I don’t get this off my chest I’m going to explode so-” He cut himself off, closing his eyes shut as he inhaled deeply to calm his beating heart.
“I’m listening Eli.” She encouraged, taking a step towards him. She felt her heart sink when his eyes flashed open and he took a step back, keeping the same space between them.
“I- you can’t do that anymore.” He spoke, catching her entirely off guard.
“Do what?” She asked, a puzzled look appearing on her features.
“That- that voice and that nickname it-” He cut himself off once more and inhaled deeply. “Fuck.” He breathed out in frustration.
“I don’t understand.”
“No, of course you don’t.” He chuckled bitterly, running a hand through his hair as he shook his head. “Because you don’t understand the effect you have on me and so many others around you *yn*. You don’t understand what it’s like to be totally and irrevocably in love with someone who doesn’t love you.”
“Of course I lo-”
“Don’t! Don’t you dare fucking say it.” He snarled and *yn* took a step back at the unexpected harshness of his tone.
“Maybe you love me like in a way someone loves an old friend. But you’re not in love with me. Not anymore. And I can’t follow you around like a lost puppy anymore in the hopes that one day you might fall back in love with me.” He continued, his eyes shining with unshed tears.
“I can’t be the person you turn to anymore when you need to feel loved or when you try and get over Bellamy. I can’t be that distraction for you. It’s going to be the fucking death of me.”
“Bellamy and I are done, Elijah. How I feel about you has nothing to do with him.” She heard herself shoot back. Even she didn’t believe her own words.
“You chose him today *yn*. You chose to save him over me. You patched him up after his sister beat him up for getting his boyfriend killed. You clung onto him today in that airlock like he was the only person you would ever want to die alongside. He slaughtered an army of innocent people and you would still choose him over me everytime.”
*yn*’s lips parted in surprise as she stared at him wide eyed. She was totally and utterly speechless.
“I-” She cut herself off as she felt a tear escape her eye to spill down her cheek. “I’m sorry.” She breathed out hoarsely. “I never meant to hurt you.”
“I know.” He nodded. “But I can’t be there for you anymore *yn*. Not as a lover, not as a friend. I need time.”
“You need space.” *yn* breathed out, Raven’s words from mere hours ago echoing in her mind.
He nodded at her words. “Yes.”
An awkward silence filled the air as they stared at each other, neither of them having any clue what to say. *yn* had just lost one of her best friends. Elijah had just told his soulmate that he couldn’t be near her anymore.
“We should get back to the others.” He mumbled to which *yn* nodded numbly.
The pair made their way back towards the main building in complete silence. All eyes turned to them as they entered the hanger, the tension between them almost visible as they made their way towards the group. She could feel Bellamy’s eyes on her before they flickered to Elijah. He knew something was wrong.
*yn* straightened up and painted on a smile as she approached the others. There had been enough drama for one day, she didn’t need to add to it.
“What’s going on?” *yn* queried when she noticed everyone hugging and saying goodbyes.
“Me, Bellamy, Jasper and Octavia are heading out to find Luna. The others are staying here to try and access ALIE.” Clarke explained as *yn* came to a stop beside her.
“Ok.” *yn* nodded, her eyes flickering between the group that was now split in two. “I call shotgun.” She continued, shooting Clarke a grin before moving to say goodbye to the others.
“And I’ll be staying here.” Elijah announced. “Hope you can do with an extra pair of hands?” He queried, turning to Raven.
“Yeah of course.” She nodded, unable to hide the confusion on her face. Clarke and Bellamy exchanged their own looks of surprise at Elijah’s words. Usually wherever *yn* went, Elijah followed.
“Be careful.” Raven murmured into *yn*’s hair as the pair embraced tightly. “When am I not?” *yn* smirked causing Raven to roll her eyes.
“I mean it Kane.” She teased which caused *yn* to let out a small laugh.
“Yes captain.” She spoke as she pulled away. She shot Elijah a longing look before tearing her gaze from him and making her way towards the rover.
She hopped into the passenger seat and was relieved to see Jasper already in the drivers seat. She leant back in her seat and let out a sigh as Octavia, Clarke and Bellamy piled into the back of the rover.
Somehow she had managed to just escape death, have another friend die and lose two of the people closest to her due to their desire for space all in the space of 24 hours.
“In need of a distraction?” Jasper queried when he noted her blood shot eyes and the way her smile dropped the second she was out of Raven’s sight. She turned to see him waving a music disc in front of her.
“You read my fucking mind.”

the 100 [ bellamy blake x reader ]
Tumblr media
type : angsty, maybe a bit fluffy?
tropes: forced proximity, best friends to lovers
warnings: mentions of anxiety, heavy language, lowkey manipulative bellamy
in which bellamy blake and reader used to date but when he spiraled after octavia was arrested and his life fell apart, he distanced himself from her. after he begs her to trust him blindly and she does, they have to figure out their relationship on earth as neither of them is able to let it go.
a/n: hii, this is my first piece of writing in a loooong long time but i’m really enjoying the 100 again and i’ve noticed a severe lack of bellamy content on here, so i hope you like it! i don’t think i used any pronouns but i did use the term “girl” multiple times to describe reader! w.c.: 4.831
after octavia was discovered, he lost his job and his mum was floated, bellamy fell into a terrifying rabbit hole of depression. he lost himself with everything else in his life and instead of holding on to you, he wanted you to do better than him; so he ignored you. of course it made everything worse than it already was but it helped to tell himself he was actually saving you, despite seeing you fall apart piece by piece for months. he knew you'd get it together at some point, you had a great life going for you and he didn't want to risk you losing it at anytime soon, especially not because of him.
so when commander shumway approached bellamy and asked him to assassinate chancellor jaha in return of being able to go to earth with his sister and he said yes with barely any hesitation, he couldn't help but think about you, the girl he was so deeply in love with.
so now, bellamy was close to sprinting across the hall, giving his all to reach your door as fast as he could. he was going to earth, he had already shot the chancellor, but he couldn't leave you behind, no matter how hard he tried, not even after all those months of breaking your heart.
but just because he broke your heart that didn't mean he didn't love you the entire time.
you had taken the day off of guard duty, not feeling well as your three year anniversary with bellamy was approaching or, well, it would've if he hadn't abandoned you a few months ago.
although you tried your hardest to get it together, especially because you didn't want to risk your job as a guard on the ark, you couldn't just forget about bellamy. you had never loved anyone like him and no one had ever hurt you like he had.
there was aggressive knocking on the door, startling you immediately. you sighed frustratedly, there was no one who'd have time, or even want to, visit you in the middle of the day. especially not that desperately, since whoever was disturbing your peace got more and more aggressive with each knock.
you opened the door and before you could say anything, you were pushed into your room by a strong, all too familiar man. not being able to comprehend, you simply stared at the tan man in front of you, admiring his freckled face you had missed so much.
"bellamy? wha-", he cut you off, shaking his head frantically.
"look, y/n, this has gotta be really weird for you right now, but we have to leave. like, now. you have to come with me, okay?", although he was clearly stressed, there was a softness to be noticed in his voice that you knew all too well. you also recognized that he wasn't exactly asking you to come with him, he was telling you to.
"bellamy, what do you mean? you can't just come here and, and.. bellamy i don't understand! why are you wearing a guard’s uniform?", you rambled, looking at him more than desperate for answers. you knew that you would follow him anywhere but you didn't want to. you shouldn't after what he did to you.
he sighed, looking around nervously before taking a deep breath in and putting his hands on your cheeks. he held your face in his hands, pulling you a bit closer to him as he looked into your eyes.
"y/n, i beg you, you have to trust me, okay? i know i haven't been the best.. the best to you but if there's one thing you can do for me, even if it's the last time you ever help me out again, i need it to be today, right now", he noticed your big eyes, only now realizing that this might not work out and it scared him, terrified him even. "y/n..y/n, baby please. i'm begging you, begging. we don't have time, we need to go, please trust me, please y/n!"
"okay, bell."
you could tell how much this relieved him immediately and right as a little smile started showing, he pulled you out of your room, swiftly grabbing your necklace you always kept next to your keys and dragged you through the ark. it felt like you were running through the entire space station and when you finally slowed down, bellamy didn't give you a single second to ask questions.
he just motioned to you to be silent as he carefully pushed you towards something you recognized to be a dropship. your eyes widened in panic, what the hell was going on here.
"bellamy, serious-", he simply covered your mouth and shoved you into the dropship before closing the door. as panic overtook you and your breathing got heavier, your perception lessened. without bellamy pushing you around and doing whatever you needed to do for you, you wouldn't have gotten anything done.
you were clearly having a panic attack and while it hurt bellamy to not be able to help you get through right now, he had to prioritize your safety during the travel to earth and before you knew it, you passed out.
{ ~* }
you felt soft taps on your shoulder as you slowly regained consciousness. slowly raising your head before finally opening your eyes and looking around. you were still in the dropship but you were all by yourself, no sight of bellamy. of course.
the person who'd been trying to wake you was a boy you recognized as wells jaha, the chancellor's son. he looked at you, relief basically written all over him as you finally reacted to his attempts of waking you up. "i'm so glad you're awake, i almost thought you wouldn't wake up again. wait, let me help you out."
he started to unbuckle you, holding you up as you were still a bit weak from your intense panic attack. he could tell how confused you were immediately.
"i'm wells, you're a guard, right? why'd they send you to earth with us?", wells questioned as your eyes widened.
"earth?!", you repeated immediately, not believing what you heard and completely ignoring his question. you couldn't be on earth, it wasn't even going to be habitable for the next three generations so how could you be on earth now, alive?!
wells didn't really know how to react, he had expected you to know but you were just as, probably even more clueless than the delinquents. he decided not to engage in any more conversation, respecting your space as he figured you'd want some time to cope, as well as recovering from whatever made you pass out.
you were thankful for being left alone, slowly standing up and once you felt stable enough to walk to the hatch, you followed the ladder down. immediately you were met with the most beautiful sight you've ever seen.
tall trees, their roots covered in beautiful, bright green plants and, of course, many people all around the area.
you didn't care about them though, the only person you wanted to find was bellamy, he had to explain himself. what was he thinking, taking you to earth without even telling you?!
luckily, it didn't take you long to find him. he was talking to a girl much shorter than him; she had dark brown hair and bright blue eyes and although you hadn't seen her that well the last time, the day she was arrested, you were certain it was bellamy's little sister octavia.
you walked over to them, careful not to overestimate your strength yet and once bellamy noticed you, he got tense immediately.
"y/n, how are you?", he spoke up, seemingly interrupting octavia who simply looked at you curiously. while she had never really met you, she knew so much about you. everytime bellamy told her a story to fall asleep to, it was always about princess y/n and once she got older, he finally revealed that you were actually his girlfriend. she loved what she'd heard so far but she decided to lay low, not wanting to interrupt the two of you.
"i'm good. bellamy, what the fuck is going on, are we really on earth? you have to-", he sighed loudly before cutting you off. "i'm glad you're feeling good. you shouldn't stress yourself too much, you're probably still a bit weak, okay? enjoy earth."
the usual softness in his voice was all gone, leaving nothing, but unfamiliar coldness as he walked off. what the fuck was his problem.
"i should've known that he'd leave me again, why did i fucking come", you mumbled angrily. you really had every right to be angry at bellamy, but if you were being honest, you were probably way more disappointed than angered by the man who once loved you as much as you love him.
octavia looked at you confusedly, not being able to follow at all. "what do you mean again, you're y/n, his girlfriend y/n right?"
"i don't even know what i am to him anymore", you answered, feeling tears shoot up to your eyes. no, you couldn't cry about him anymore, you had wasted too many tears on his egoistic ass.
octavia's eyes softened, similarly to how bellamy's used to. she walked up to you and hugged you carefully, not wanting to disrespect your personal space beyond your liking. you hugged her back, appreciating her sympathy a lot and although you kinda didn't want to spend time with bellamy's younger sister, you didn't want to punish her for something out of her power. she had dealt with that too much already.
"my brother can be a real ass sometimes but he'll get over it, i think i know how much he loves you", she spoke softly, smiling at you. you smiled back at her but realized that she really had no clue how over the two of you were.
{ ~* }
days on days passed and not a single interaction between bellamy and you happened. you wanted to talk to him so desperately but whenever you approached him, he'd find a way to get away from you as soon as possible. it felt like you were back on the ark, trying to understand why your boyfriend of two years was suddenly ignoring and avoiding you.
you wanted to fight for his attention, you really tried to but when he set up a knife fight between john murphy and wells, you figured that you had to say goodbye to the idea of ever getting anything positive out of a conversation with him. the bellamy you once loved was probably gone for good and whatever egoistic, violent leader he had become now, was no one you wanted around you.
this time, you really had to get over him.
it honestly made you sick to watch him act like the born leader of the delinquents and it was almost worse to see them follow him blindly. he was leading them to do horrible things, he was clearly motivating their aggression and allowed them all to be terrible to each other.
of course you were angry, but it also confused you a lot. bellamy really terrified you, he was going down a path you couldn't follow and he wasn't anything like he used to be back in the ark, back when he was still your bellamy.
he used to be sweet, loving and caring but now it was so obvious that he was using the 100 delinquents to reach his own goal, you just couldn't figure out what goal that could be. another thing you were pretty confused about, was the fact he took you with him. when he begged you to come with him, he was so different. it almost felt like he loved you again, you were embarrassed to admit that you thought things would get better now, that everything would be like it was back then and you knew that you deserved better, no one, not even john murphy deserved to be treated like bellamy had treated you that past year. still, you just couldn't let him go, so you decided it was time for some distraction.
while you really enjoyed spending time with clarke, learning a bit from her medical knowledge, as well as simply making a new friend, you needed more. literally, you had no one besides bellamy, octavia and clarke and you didn't actually have any of them. you needed to make friends.
deciding to go against bellamy's orders to stay with clarke, something he hadn't told you personally, instead sending one of his little minions your way, you left the drop ship in search for something else to do. you weren't gonna let him tell you what to do, not if he didn't even have the balls to talk to you himself.
right as you left the dropship, you immediately spotted a tall boy with funny googles on his head walking towards one of the gates and decided to approach him. you remembered his name, joshua, or jasper.
"hey jasper", you smiled at him and he immediately smiled back. "hey y/n, i'm just heading out for the hunt."
you raised your eyebrow. hunt? that was perfect for you. not only did you ace pike's earth skills class, but you were also a trained guard. of all the people in your camp, it was safe to assume that you'd be the best at it.
"can i come too? i think i'd be a lot of help", you spoke nicely and without even thinking about it, jasper nodded. his smile grew as he was more than willing to spend some more time with you.
"i'm sure bellamy won't mind", he said and although you really didn't want to be around bellamy for once, it upset you even more that he couldn't even ask you to go with them. he knew just as well as you did that they needed you and that you were the best shot they had, probably even better than him since you actually finished your guard training.
you followed jasper out of the walls, stopping right outside as you joined the rest of the hunting trip. there were about seven unknown faces and of course bellamy’s. as soon as he saw you, he tensed up, leaving you to sigh annoyingly and roll your eyes.
"y/n get back inside the walls, it's not safe outside", he said, voice stern, motioning for you to turn around and go. you immediately shook your head.
"i'm gonna come with you guys, i'm literally your best shot and you won't even notice me, i'll be with jasper the entire time", you complained. he knew you wouldn't change your mind but he wouldn't risk your safety. bellamy trusted jasper but not with you, he trusted no one when it came to you. no one, not even yourself, would protect you as well as he would and although he had been avoiding you for days now, expecting to keep going until he knew you'd gotten over him completely, he had to be the one going with you.
"yea no, you're either coming with me or not at all, y/n. this is your first time outside the walls and i wanna make sure you find your way back home, alright?! however, if you don't want to go with me that's fine. stay back and help clarke then. got it?!", he was convinced he'd make you change your mind.
"fuck you, bellamy. really, let's just go already", you were angry. he was treating you like a complete stranger and you actually felt a bit embarrassed in front of the other people. what was he thinking talking to you like that in front of so many of the others, it was unnecessary.
he was caught by surprise by your response, less because of your words, but way more because you actually chose to come with them. he was so sure you would never want to be alone with him after all he had done but this just proved that it wasn't enough yet.
he should've known better than to expect you to just stop loving him that easily. hell, how could you get over him, if he couldn't even go a single hour without thinking about you.
"okay then", bellamy said before everyone split up and went into different directions. you followed him, making sure you stayed behind.
"you know damn well that i'd be a great help. should've gotten your shit together and asked me", you mumbled and although he heard what you said, he decided not to respond.
you two were walking for a pretty long time, killing some birds on your way. obviously that wouldn't be enough for the entire camp to eat so you kept going. there wasn't much talking done either, you were able to work together without speaking, you had always been able to.
of course it was awkward, but it went fine until a loud sound rang through the woods. bellamy turned to you immediately, eyes wide as he grabbed your wrist and started running. despite having never left the camp, you knew that this was an alarm to warn about the yellow fog that was incredibly toxic and even deadly.
the two of you ran as fast as you could until bellamy noticed something in the ground that looked like a door to a bunker. he immediately pushed you in front of him and told you to go in, following closely as he rushed to close the door before the fog could get you. bellamy turned on his flashlight while your breath was shaky as you put a hand up to your heart. your athleticism wasn't an issue, your anxiety however was.
"y/n, are you okay?", bellamy asked softly as approached you, reaching for your shoulder but before he could touch you, you backed away.
"bellamy stop, stop doing this", he looked at you with a questioning expression on his face. "you know what i mean."
he simply shook his head, lowering it before quietly saying "i'm sorry, y/n, but i really don't. i just wanna make sure you're okay."
you huffed, did he even believe his own words? you were annoyed by his obliviousness and slid down the wall, he did the same oppositely from you.
neither of you said anything for some time but with every minute that passed, you feared that he would leave the bunker at the first chance he'd get, ruining your only opportunity to have the conversation you've been wanting to have for almost a year now.
"look, bellamy.. i just don't understand how you could do what you did. you're confusing me", you explained quietly, not wanting to look at him yet.
"i know, i don't understand either", he spoke back and as your eyes met, you could tell he wasn't lying. "i was angry, angry at everyone, even you. and i know that it wasn't fair, i wasn't treating you how i should have but when i lost everything, i was ashamed. you deserved better than that and i knew you wouldn't just let me go."
"literally what were you thinking?!  i was with you through any hardships you ever had to go through. what made you assume id just leave you, what made you think that after two years with you, i'd just abandon you. what for?! having a sister? i'm not the fucking council, you should know me better than that", you were angry but you didn't want to yell at him, you wanted this to work.
he sighed, he didn't know what to tell you. of course you were right, he fully agreed but what good would him agreeing do?
"talk to me, bellamy", you basically begged.
"i'm sorry, y/n. i have never regretted anything as much as breaking your heart. you were on my mind every single day", he said truthfully, not being able to look into your eyes as he spoke until he lifted his head. "if i could turn back time, i would. i am so sorry for ruining what we had."
you stared into his eyes, giving yourself time to think about what he just told you. you'd do anything to go back to how things were, you missed bellamy so much.
"me too", you then admitted. "you know, it would've been our three year anniversary a few days ago", you said and laughed slightly. bellamy smiled at you, oh how he had missed your laugh.
"i know", he said and reached into his pocket. "i didn't get you anything new and i know that i can't just regift something i already gave you years ago but i grabbed this when i asked you to come with me and i just.. didn't have time to give it to you yet."
you listened curiously, watching him pull out a silver necklace he once gave you. your mouth and eyes widened in excitement, it was your favourite piece of jewelry ever since you'd gotten it, but when you realized you didn't have it on you, you were sure you'd never see it again and it made you incredibly sad.
"oh my god, you took it with you? thank you so much, bellamy! i was missing it already", you admitted, excitement lacing your voice. he smiled again and handed you your necklace you put on immediately.
you smiled down at yourself, carefully grabbing the star charm.
"i missed seeing you like this, you are so beautiful, y/n", bellamy spoke quietly, you simply halted in your movement. your eyebrows were raised slightly as you looked at him, what was he doing?
"y/n, i know that i don't deserve your forgiveness, fuck, i don't even deserve you! but please, i'm begging you to forgive me for what i did. i don't expect it to be easy, but-"
"why did you ask me to come with you, bell?", you interrupted him. it took him a second before he chuckled and looked to the side, then focusing on you again.
"i spent so many months ignoring you, thinking i was making things so much better when i actually ruined us. i already told you that i thought about you every single day and i knew i wouldn't survive to go down here without you", he explained. "i know that it was incredibly selfish of me to bring you here and at first i didn't want to because i didn't want to expose you to all these dangers earth might bring. i wanted you to do better than me, that's why i distanced myself from you, but i was a fool to think this would work. the hold you have on me and my life is actually insane, y/n. when i had the opportunity to protect my sister and to take you down with me, i just-"
"wait, bellamy, why are you even here in the first place", you questioned. there was no way you wouldn't know about his mission but a janitor did.
his expression changed immediately, his jaw tensed and you could tell how scared he was to tell you, but he also didn't want to lie to you. not right now, not apart of this conversation.
"y/n, i messed up, okay.. i did things i regret and leaving you wasn't my only mistake, but i couldn't let my sister go to earth unprotected, alright? i had to make sure she was safe", he rambled immediately, panic lacing his voice. you on the other hand, only got more suspicious of him. "i shot chancellor jaha on shumway's request."
your eyes widened in shook, you couldn't believe what you just heard. "what, i-"
you wanted to be upset at him so bad but something in you couldn't. "is he.."
"i don't know, that was the goal", he answered quietly, not daring to look up.
"oh my god, bellamy! are you kidding me, you can't just shoot the chancellor, you can't shoot anybody actually!"
"y/n, i know, please. i know that i messed up but i can't change it anymore", he sighed before running his hand through his hair. by now, it was finally curly and loose again and you couldn't help but notice how good he looked. but that wasn't the point, not at all.
"do you though? you changed, bellamy. you have become someone i don't recognize, whats gotten into you?!", you got up from the ground, looking around helplessly. "first you shoot the chancellor and then you lead these kids in the aggressive way you do. do you even notice what you're creating?", at this point you were yelling, you didn't care anymore.
"y/n don't yell at me", he said but you just shook your head. he got up and approached you but you backed away like earlier.
"for fucks sake, stop telling me what to do! you're not my leader, if anything, you're my boyfriend, or ex boyfriend. hell, i don't even know what we are because you didn't have the fucking balls to actually break up with me before being an asshole. i have every right to yell at you", you hissed and you could see how much your words hurt him but bellamy wasn't gonna stay quiet this time.
"i never broke up with you because i didn't fucking want to. i didn't treat you like it but fuck, y/n i love you", he was raising his voice as well now.
"loved, you loved me, you don't anymore", you said and it seemed like this time, you went too far.
"shut the fuck up, y/n. don't say shit like that, don't disrespect me like that", he yelled at you, knowing full well that your disrespect wasn't even comparable to what he put you through. "don't accuse me of not loving you because i could never stop loving you. there wasn't a single day in the past five years where i didn't love you and you know that this is true, we both do!"
you bit your lip as you tried to calm yourself. the adrenaline was overwhelming at this point but still you somehow knew that he was right. you believed him.
"and you don't have to forgive me for what i did and for the way i'm leading these kids but you know damn well that i'd do anything for you and that i love you", his voice was softening again as he was calming down too. "and i know that you're not over me. you wouldn't have come with me, if you didn't love me at least a little bit."
you took a deep breath in, he was right. of course he was, but you couldn't just forgive and forget.
"y/n, baby, i'm not asking you to forget what i did, please don't. i just wanna know that i am right and that i still know you and most importantly; that i didn't ruin your life even more when i brought you down here", his voice got quieter and you could even hear it breaking towards the end of his sentence.
"yes, bellamy i still love you", you simply admitted, sad eyes meeting his right before he pulled you into his arms.
you didn't resist because you needed this, it was what you'd been seeking for all these months.
bellamy was relieved that you still loved him. he didn't expect everything to magically be amazing again but he knew that he hadn't lost you yet. he still had a chance for redemption and he was going to fix things. he was going to be a better man for you.
his strong arms were wrapped around you tightly, holding you against his chest as he also enjoyed feeling your touch again.
"i love you so much, y/n. i'll fix everything, okay? i will never hurt you ever again and we can work through this, if you want to. i missed you so much, baby", he said. his hand was now holding your cheek as he looked into your glossy eyes.
you nodded, believing him again.
you were hoping that he was saying the truth, that he would never mess it up again. you just wanted to love him again, but you weren't stupid, things, he would have to change first.
