Title: (I have no idea what the title should be, this should just be a crack fic LMAO I swear it sounded better in my head) 

Mikey stared at you, as you were laughing and playing with your nephews. You haven’t changed at all, your love for basketball was still there. That smile and mischievous look in your eyes always got his heart pounding. He hated that he had to hide from you, just so you wouldn’t get caught up in this mess. After all, he was a wanted criminal now. 

“Mikey, we should go.” 

“I will give me a moment…” he said as he kept his eyes on your figure. You had matured in so many places and he couldn’t help but let his eyes wander. 

“Aunt (Y/N)…” Your nephew called before walking over to you.

“What is it bub?” 

“A guy is watching you…” he whispered and the other brother nodded. Despite their young age, they were quite perceptive of their surroundings.

“I know, I have my eyes on him. Don’t worry.” 

“You are so cool.” Your other nephew said and you chuckled.

“(Nephew 1), (Nephew 2), come in it’s time to eat.” 

“Awe!”

“Go eat you two. I have to get home anyway.”

“MM, kay we love you.” You leaned down and they each placed a kiss on your cheek, you hugged your brother and then his wife bye.

“Call me when you get home. Be safe, and stay outta trouble.” 

“I know, I know… I may hit the courts beforehand.” 

“Dork, well, be safe.” 

You nodded and waited for them to go into the house before leaving. You walked to the sidewalk before sighing.

“You can come out now, no need to be a creepy Sano…”

“How did you know it’s me?” He asked walking out from behind the tree.

“Because you use to stare at me all the time when we were younger. It was so creepy, but god it’s creepier now. Why do you look so sickly…”

“Wow, still as blunt and mean as ever,” Mikey said with a slight smile, though he knew you meant it.

“Well, you went from actually being semi-cute to being so sick and fragile looking. And are you eating? You lost so much weight. Do they not feed you in Bonten? Jesus…” 

“Wow, thanks I guess. I think my self-esteem just plummeted to its death. You look as beautiful as ever.”

“First off good, secondly, please don’t flirt with me. It makes me think I only attract people like you.” 

He sighed softly as you began to walk home, with him hot on your heels. You knew it was no point in trying to talk him out of following you. He had never listened to you. 

“If you are gonna follow me home, we are dying your hair, we are feeding you… and you are gonna get some sleep.” 

“That’s not why I am~”

“Nope, my house my rules. If you don’t like it then don’t follow me…” 

“My hair isn’t even that bad…” 

“It’s bad enough… also if the rest comes… I am gonna kick their asses.” 

“I believe you…” 

“Good, ‘cause I know they are following too.” 

“You have a good eye, can never creep up on you.” He said as you walked into your home and he followed. You locked the door and stared at him cupping his cheeks. He felt warmth cover his cheeks and his eyes had widened. 

“Seriously what happened to you? You were this cute, sweet annoying, and creepy, but sweet nonetheless kid… Why are you like this now?” 

“Dark impulse I guess. I couldn’t keep myself out of trouble. I lost everyone I cared about… I don’t know.” 

“Tsk, you didn’t lose everyone… You have Draken, Takemitchi, Mitsuya, and everyone still. If you would have reached out, they would have been there for you.” 

“You?” 

“… as much as I hate it, I would have been too. I may not have liked you back then, doesn’t me I don’t care.” 

“That’s exactly what it means.” 

“No, I would have never wanted you to end up like this. I would have put everything aside to help.” 

“(Y/N)…I~” 

“Anyway, go shower. I will get you some clothes.” You parted from him, and he blinked before watching you go. He placed a hand on his chest, with a small smile. He followed you before standing outside the room you were in.

“I should have some clothes that my brother had, they should fit you…” you looked him over before shaking your head.

“Actually they may swallow you up…but it will work. Here.” You handed him some sweat pants and a hoodie which he took. 

“Thank you…” 

“Mhmm, go get in the shower now…” 

“Wait…” he gently grabbed your wrist and you looked confused. He cupped your cheeks and placed his lips on top of yours. Your eyes widen as you went to pull away but he held you closer. He soon parted, and your eyes had widened as you covered your mouth.

“I love you (Y/N)…” he went to the bathroom to shower. You were frozen on the spot before hearing knocking on the door multiple times. You slowly dragged your feet to the door in an absolute daze. You opened the door, and Ran was about to say something but stopped noticing your look.

“Is…she okay?” 

“I- think she is broken.” 

“Oh… you guys… come on in. Makes yourselves at home…” You mumbled stepping to the side. 

“What did we miss?” Rindou asked confused as he poked your cheek but you completely ignored him. Normally when people touched your cheeks, you would have broken their fingers. 

“Where is Mikey?” Sanzu asked and you pointed to the bathroom where the shower was going.

“Oh… I guess we can wait for him.” They left you but kept an eye since you were just standing there. 

Mikey finished his shower and walked out with the hoodie and sweatpants on. If you were to compare your brother to Mikey, your brother was hella buff.

“Mikey, what did you do to (Y/N)? She is out of character.” Rindou asked.

“I kissed her, told her I loved her, and left to the bathroom.” 

“She didn’t kill you? We may be a dangerous organization but even we know better than to piss her off.” Kakucho said. 

“I took the risk, I think she may attempt to kill me after realizing what I did. But for now, I won’t regret anything.” Mikey grinned widely and everyone looked at each other.

“She may just be his light in the dark.”

“What does that mean for us?”

“If yall wanna fight her count me and Rindou out, she is crazy. She kicks harder than Mikey.”

“I doubt that…” Koko said and everyone looked at him.

“She can kick two bricks in half. Also, she trained her kicks against a tree multiple times.”

“Why do you know this Mikey?” Sanzu asked and Mikey looked away.

“We did the same martial arts training when we were younger. She really was the only girl before Emma. But she didn’t even notice me. She noticed my older brother, but not me…”

“Ouch…” 

“SANO MANJIRO!” You rushed to him and punched him square in the face. 

“She is back to normal…” 

“I don’t regret it, but did your punches get even harder?” He mumbled tasting blood in his mouth.

“Yes. Yes, they did… I should kill you… I was saving my first kiss asshole.” 

“…”

“WHAT!?” Everyone yelled and stared at you in shock. You had blushing cheeks glaring at Mikey. He was just as shocked.

“Your first kiss? You never kissed anyone???” Ran asked and you shook your head.

“When I was younger I made a promise too~” you trailed off cheeks on fire.

“Never mind…” 

“No, I wanna hear this promise… who was it to?” Mikey asked and you huffed.

“Your brother…” 

“Oh no…” Mikey said making a face and everyone instantly knew.

“You had a crush on Mikey’s brother?” 

“Yes… yes, I did. Even told him I was gonna marry him. Dumb ass got himself killed though. But he said though I am pretty sure he was just entertaining the idea would have never gone through with it... but he said and I quote ‘If you never kiss anyone when you become an adult, then I will consider it.’ that was enough for me...” 

“I feel offended…and that is why you rejected me constantly?” 

“Yikes… wait you proposed to Mikey’s brother?” Sanzu asked next and you nodded.

“Yes and yes… I think I was the only girl who ever confessed to him. Considering every girl rejected. But because of my age, he rejected me each time. Makes sense.” 

“Point is, I wasn’t ready to give my first kiss away idiot. Doesn’t matter about the promise, but you took it without my permission.” 

“I am sorry, you were just so cute…”

“On second thoughts. After you eat, you aren’t sleeping here. None of you are, you are all leaving.”

“But you gonna feed him?” Takeomi asked and you shot him a glare.

“Yall clearly not feeding him… should be ashamed. You Mikey, you need to work on yourself. Ugh, not staying healthy. I really should knock some sense into you.”

“She just changed the topic off of her, to us… she is slick,” Koko mumbled over to Rindou who nodded.

It's honestly heartbreaking to see the difference between Past Kakucho, who protested the murder of a girl he didn't even know, and Future Kakucho, who fatally shot his childhood friend in one timeline and was unmoved by Sanzu executing three people in front of him in another

i think bonten is it’s own sector. they wouldn’t be considered yakuza based off how there’s not too many members and they lack most of the yakuza’s qualities. they’re very close to it though! i could see them working for the yakuza.

This is a almost 2:00 am rambling, but after reading your character ask game of Mucho and I thought if the relationships Mucho-Kakucho and Mucho-Sanzu can be seen as foils to each other? Also how both acknowledge his importance in their lives, Kakucho says he is the one that taught him all that he knows and Sanzu calling him the big brother he never had (rip Takeomi).

Plus Kakucho stoping Mucho from killing a person, while Mucho is killed by Sanzu feels like two sides of the same coin.

Kakucho and Sanzu are parallels - the same but also opposite - and so, yep, their relation with Mucho follow the same rule

(Add to that that Sanzu also killed Kakucho (and in the same way, too) xd)

It's the same thing with Mucho-Izana and Mucho-Mikey, too. Izana/Mikey beat him up, and then he followed them because they gained his loyalty. Although he was reluctant to join Mikey - because he already had a similar relationship with Izana.

In good timelines/AUs, he's the bridge between the two gang. He's the only midpoint they have

When Mikey shows up with a pregnant lady at his side, most of the gang is stunned into silence. Curious gazes are exchanged, then everyone start whispering among each other, trying to make sense of the situation.

At first, nobody really connects the dots. They all assume you must be a friend in need or someone Mikey found and decided to help. They imagine that Mikey took you under his wing and promised to keep you safe – which would explain why he brought you here. Typical Mikey.

Imagine the absolute whiplash when Mikey starts the meeting by introducing you as his wife.

For some of them (especially Draken), it's kind of a hard pill to swallow.

A wave of realization hits him hard and he suddenly feels like he never really knew Mikey after all. His best friend, whom he hangs out with pretty much every day and has been looking after his whole life, has been married this entire time? He can't help but wonder how he missed all the signs and feels a mixture of emotions as he tries to process those unexpected layers of Mikey's life that he never knew existed.

But once he starts to grasp the reasons why Mikey did it, he begins to feel better about it.

He knows that Mikey has always been a responsible and thoughtful young man. The fact that he kept his wife hidden from the gang because he knew your presence might've made you a target for rival gangs or enemies seeking to exploit the slightest vulnerability in his life only made Draken more admirative of Mikey.

Over time, everyone in Toman gets accustomed to the situation and they all grow closer to you, much to Mikey's delight.

Hakkai has yet to get used to seeing you around all the time, but he tries his best. He really likes you and tries not to freeze completely when you talk to him. It's not easy for him, but he does manage to get a few words out when you start a conversation. It's cute to see him make the effort and face his shyness just to be able talk to you.

Baji and Chifuyu are like your personal bodyguards. They treat you like a younger sibling, always looking out for you and stealing you from Mikey to hang out or help with shopping for the baby.

As for Mitsuya, he'll put all his energy into making his own unique pieces of clothing for the baby. Before your child is even born, he's is already envisioning the most adorable designs to keep the little one cozy and stylish at all times. He'll design all sort of cute outfits, knit baby blankets, baby booties, and maybe even craft some nursery decor, because why not.

Everyone quickly realizes that you are an essential pillar of support for Mikey and they, too, end up finding comfort in your presence.

In moments of stress and anxiety, you always know how to calm them down. A gentle touch on the shoulder or a quick pep talk is all it takes to ease the burden from their shoulders. It's as if you have this innate sense of knowing when people need support the most, and you're always there to lend a listening ear or a shoulder to lean on.

You've practically become Kazutora's best friend and confident, and he often seeks your advice on important decisions. Your bond with him runs deep, forged through shared experiences and the understanding that you have for each other. He knows that you genuinely care about his well-being and will always have his best interests at heart.

After the baby's arrival, Pah-Chin and Peh-Yan turn into the typical pair of bickering uncles, always competing to hold the baby first (because of course, everyone gets to hold your baby at least once a day).

One day, their playful argument escalates and their voices disturb the baby's peaceful sleep, leading to Mikey landing a friendly kick on them, while Draken settles to giving them a rather harsh slap on the back of the head.

In the midst of the chaos, Takemichi eventually gets the privilege of holding the baby first. You could tell he was practically dying to ask, but simply didn't dare to.

You share a special connection with all of Mikey's friends, like a close-knit found family, and each of them wholeheartedly reciprocates your affection.

When Mikey holds a meeting to introduce his pregnant partner, the news doesn't really come off as a shock to anyone. Everyone in Bonten is used to sleeping around, and, well, they know that accidents can happen.

Mikey decided to be responsible and keep a prostitute and her baby? Okay, good for him. Maybe not the best decision, but that's none of their business.

What genuinely shocks them however, is finding out that you and your baby are actually far from being a mere accident or casual fling gone wrong.

In fact, you've been Mikey's wife for a little over a year now, and the main motivation behind his decision to introduce you to his gang is to ensure your safety at all times. He can't risk an enemy finding out about you before his allies do, especially now that you're pregnant.

They're not exactly thrilled by the idea of playing babysitter for their boss - but they quickly get used to having you around. (It's not like they have much of a choice anyway)

Takeomi handles you like literal porcelain. He doesn't leave your side, always following you around to make sure you don't trip, fall down the stairs or hurt yourself in any way shape or form.

His attentiveness is primarily driven by your position as the boss's wife rather than personal affection or genuine concern for you, though. He's just doing his job, knowing that any harm happening to you while he's in charge of watching you will result in him getting reprimanded by Mikey. You're a very nice woman, but he'd rather be tasked with more important business - hence the constant huffs and sighs when he's around you.

Koko, on the other hand, grows particularly fond of you and buys pretty much everything you need for yourself and the baby. Whether it be clothes, plushies, furniture for the nursery or your weird pregnancy cravings, he'll get you anything you desire. This baby is going to be spoiled rotten whether you like it or not. (Mikey complains about it more than you do)

Similarly, you and Kakucho develop a significant bond over time, the third-in-command becoming almost like an older brother to you. Among the gang, he stands out as the friendliest and least intimidating, Introducing a comforting and accessible presence in your life, something you've been missing for a while. Although you love Mikey dearly, being his wife presents its own set of difficulties and often leaves you feeling isolated.

Sanzu mostly minds his own business. He does his job and keeps an eye on you, but he has too much respect for Mikey to even consider befriending you. He wouldn't want his boss to get the wrong idea.

He mostly leaves the wifesitting job to the others, preferring to stay by Mikey's side and obey his more thrilling orders.

(And let's be honest, you're not complaining)

The Haitani brothers aren't big on befriending, and yet from time to time they'll buy some stuff for your baby, like little shoes or plushies. (That's mostly Rindou's doing, as he tends to be friendlier than his older brother).

When you find yourself alone at home, they're usually the ones assigned to stay by your front door, ensuring your security.
