On this day, in 2017, Derek Klena Daily went online, this little project of ours, and we absolutely had no idea of how amazing and crazy this journey would be!

Many things happened between then and now, each platform (tumblr, twitter and instagram) has evolved over the years but it's still the same.

All we can say is that from the bottom of our hearts and much gratitude; thank you all so, so, very much for everything! We see the immense amount of love, kindness, and the ongoing support from everyone! We are still here because of you! And since Katey and Lar are both on hiatus at the moment (until they come back), they graciously let me to take over the helm as administrator for this blog for the past couple years. Do you have suggestions for auditioning for Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County? I’m a little young for the role (I’m 33) but I have a mature soprano voice and have been playing older/mother characters literally since high school. I have a couple song ideas but I’m not sold on them, so I wanted to ask what you’d suggest!

Bridges is one of my favorite shows! For Francesca, I’d recommend Take Care of This House from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Unusual Way from Nine, Somehow I never could believe from Street Scene (Weill opera), Tuesdays Thursdays from Far From Heaven, Fable or Dividing Day from Light in the Piazza, and All That Matters from Finding Neverland.
