your fingers started to hurt from all the typing onto your phone. in the past few days it was nearly impossible to reach Jungkook. he was always busy hanging out with friends or jetting around the world. not once did he made time for you and you started to wonder why. why did he stopped caring for you? why did he suddenly ignored you? so many questions were running through your head as you looked down on your phone. he read your last message but as usual stopped responding. after another 10 minutes you putted your phone on the bedsite table. there was no use in waiting for an answer so you layed down with a sigh, placing an arm above your eyes. at the same time your mind drifted away, remembering all the memories you two shared with each other.

the day you met Jungkook for the first time was at your friends party. she bragged about how she knows someone "famous", one of those influencers, as she called them. Of course she invited the whole University campus to her little party, only to brag about him. You were invited too but nearly ditched her last minute. For you it didnt made much sense just to come by to check one of her "famous" friends out. Its probably another dude who no one knows beside her. thanks to your other friend you went to the party and it was a huge suprise. it wasnt some random influencer, it was Jeon Jungkook. A guy who's a heartthrob, a guy every girl in your class had a crush onn. no day goes by without someone mentioning his recent post or story on his SNS channels.

"what the heck Jisoo ... how is it possible that you know someone like him?" with a drink in your hand you immediately bombarded your friend with questions.

she didnt made a secret out of it. her father was a famous photographer and one day jungkook came into his studio. they all had a great time which ended in them becoming friends. jungkook got swarmed by many girls on the party so you didnt had a chance to talk to him. to tell him how inspiring he is with his fashion line. the luck was on your side as the party slowly came to an end, you only wanted to get some fresh air as you saw him leaning over the railing. jungkook had a beer in his hand as he turned into your direction. his long hair was tied into a half ponytail and you swore to yourself that you never saw someone as beautiful as him. the both of you started talking, exchanging contact infos after he promised to help you with your studies .. and that was the moment you two became friends.

from that moment on you were inseparable. junkook was hanging at your place whenever an assignment was coming up. the two of you had so much fun together that the time was flying by. your meet up extended to secret restaurant dates, of course he paid for all of it. another time he took you with him to one of those influencer events for his new clothing line. life was easy, the both of you were happy. laughing, teasing and cracking jokes all the time. sometimes jungkook even slept over as you two had many deep talks about the universe or about your friendship.

"i really cherish the moments with you y/n" as he rolled over to you, you realised for the first time that you felt more for him than just friendship.

even after realising that it didnt became akward between the two of you. on the contrary, jungkook was really open whenever it came to his own feelings. it didnt took long before you received a late night text from him. those 3 simple words made your heart skip as beat as some bubbles of happieness were rising inside of your stomach

"i love you, y/n" "... i love you too, jungkook"

pressing the phone against your chest you slept wonderful that night but as the morning came ... everything was in pieces again.

"fuck ... sorry, i think i drank too much last night ... i didnt meant to say that"

so many things were going through your head but the only solution for you was to lie. telling him that you were also out with friends, probably a bit drunk and that this text was meant for someone else.

after that it became weird between you too. jungkook started to ignore your messages whenever he felt of running away. supportive as you were, you still attended his events to show that you are there for him. in the meantime he started to release his own music, becoming more popular as he slowly got more and more out of reach for you. netherless you attended his solo concerts ... until one night. the night you couldnt take it anymore. your hands were shaking as you grabbed your phone, typing a message in hopes to reach him.

"i cant take this anymore ..."

as you were waiting for a reply you opened the gallery on your phone. scrolling through all the photos he had sent you over the years you couldnt help but cry. your finger was shaking as you deleted every single one of them. slowly ... before you reached the last one, a message popped up at the top of the screen.

"no, please. let me explain it." "where are you?"

another message. with a sigh you told him to meet you at your usual spot. the playground outside of the Campus. the area was secluded and no one would spy on him there. since jungkook became a world wide star it was harder for the both of you to meet up. around 2 in the morning you finally reached the playground. as usual jungkook was already there, leaning against the swings, waiting for you. he only waved at you before taking a step closer. both of his hands were hidden inside the pockets of his jeans as jungkook looked down onto the ground.

"explain .. i dont have that much time Koo" you were anxious as jungkook suddenly grabbed both of your hands. "i know i was stupid, giving you hope like that ... especially in the middle of the night. i ... im also sorry that i ignored you all of a sudden. you are my dearest friend .. i was an asshole"

normally you should be happy about his words, but those words only hurted you more. "dearest friend" thats what you were, nothing more? whats with all the nights he shared inside your bedroom, in the same bed as you? holding your hand or wrapping both of his arms around you. no, you werent just a friend. he wasnt just a friend, not for you. with a fast motion you pulled your hands away from him, making jungkook look up for the first time since you arrived. hurt was seen inside of his eyes, confusion and ... anxiety? why was someone anxious who doesnt feel anything about you?

"kook stop ... its okay yeah? i get it, we are friends and nothing else. so you dont need to apologize" jungkook bit down on his lips "its just .. im not good with my feelings .. so i needed to clear some things up" "its okay really"

it was a lie, you said goodbye to him with a lie. from that night on you were the one who ignored him because you couldnt bear it anymore. from videos on instagram you saw how distracted he was whenever he performed, something was bothering him. jungkook's eyes were full of hurt whenever the camera pointed at him. his hair got longer and messier, here and there was a new tattoo on his arm. somehow he was miserable but you couldnt point your finger on it why.

after 3 weeks without any contact you finally received a message from him. it was one sentence

"i miss you"

the moment you were reading those words you broke down crying. hot tears fell down onto the display on your phone and thats how you ended up in this situation. asking jungkook what the two of you were ... and reveiving his answer. your heart kept aching badly as you tried to sleep. on the next morning there was no more messages so you got ready for class. jisoo was really worried about you because of the dark circles underneath your eyes. the whole time she held your hand underneath the desk, carressing the top of it with her thumb. from time to time you had told her about your issues with jungkook, sadly she didnt had an solution for you.

after the lecture you finally had time to look on your phone, to your suprise you had 2 messages from jungkook. a bit hesistant you openend the messenger, widening your eyes because of the words you just read.

"im on the campus. please come outside. i need to tell you something." "the last thing i will tell you, if you want to. promise."

you it was probably a mistake but yout fingers typed straight away.

"okay"

jisoo was confused that you rushed down the stairs and nearly tripped over your own feed. on the way outside you threw your bag into the arms from another friend, telling her you would be right back. arriving outside there was no sign of jungkook, was it already too late? a glance on the chatroom showed you that he read your message, so he is still here, hopefully. as you reached the corner, someone grabbed your wrist and pulled you into the shadows. first you panicked, thinking it was some kind of weirdo. but as your eyes adjusted to the sudden change of light you could see jungkook sitting on the ground. with one hand he gestured to sit down with him, which you did immediately. first it was quiet between the two of you, only your fingertips touched slightly.

"im not drunk now" confused you turned your head into his direction "uh, yeah i can see that" "good"

once again he turned over to you, now you could also see that he got a new piercing on his lower lip. your fingers were itching to play with it, to touch it ... but first you wanted to hear him out. jungkook grabbed one of your hands, squeezing it gently.

"It ... It happened in the blink of an eye. Maybe i should had left quickly back then when i noticed it ... I got caught in you ... and fell for you, deeply."

instantly your hand started to shake and maybe it was also sweating a bit. that was something you waited your whole life. that jungkook finally noticed his own feelings for you. this wasnt the most romantic place but thats what you get when you fell in love with a famous singer and influencer. slowly you bit down on your lip as you looked back up at him.

"took you long enough"

your voice was only a whisper as jungkook leaned closer, placing his soft and warm lips against yours. a shudder ran down your spine as your heart nearly jumped out of your chest. jungkook interwined his fingers with yours, holding your hand gently in his own. while you kissed him oh so gently you already pictured your future with him. knowing more than well that it wont get boring with jeon jungkook.

i get the whole ignoring tkkrs to be at peace but i hope ppl won't stop calling them out for their mistranslations, misinformation, misleading things cause it's been yrs and there are still so many lies and theories that are harmful has came from them and yet the whole fandom uses it without asking for the credibility of it.

The whole "jk hates jm" has came from tkkrs only and now is widely spread in the whole fandom, the "jm sleeps with bangppd and bangppd wants to push jkk to hide tkk" narrative is their #1 theory that they still use and the whole kpop uses that bangpd and jm shit to drags jm. The jikook does fanservice narrative has came from them which everyone easily associates with jkk cause that's what they have been told by the majority of the fandom which is tkkrs.

It's been two yrs and they still say the atomix ot7 dinner was tk date when there's proof of ppl who work at atomix saying it was ot7 dinner after their white house speech. You ask them once to show where did jungkook booked the restaurant and they'll go silent cause they just made that up cause jungkook is always the sugar daddy of every ship and others the sugar baby. There's not a single receipt or proof to say jk booked it but they made a whole au out of it Cause miss mina aka @/dionysustkk and tkklives lives say so.

It's been 6 yrs and they still use tkklives rainbow SS saying gcft was a vminkook trip when the only thing my guy jm did was told both JK and TH that he wants to visit japan. For yrs both jk nd jm has talked about the Tokyo trip nd not even a single time they said it was supposed to a vminkook trip or tae was supposed to be with them. Yrs later in their book which was published THIS yr of 2023 and never in that book there's a mention of tae and Tokyo trip together and mind you the book has been gone by checking through each nd every member so all that said in the book has been approved by all the members.

I have been here for like 4 yrs nd every single time i find a tk moment 95% of them are turned out to be false nd made by tkkrs. They love cropping memebrs out of pictures to make it seem like only tk went somewhere out but you ask someone else nd you'll find other members right there but were just cut out by tkkrs. It's so hard to find a tkkr who doesn't hate jkk, jm nd call don't call them fanservice.

Even now if you go to any of the sns nd see comments under any of the jkk video you'll see atleast one comment saying "jk was forced to join with jm, he wanted to go with tae but couldn't because of his tattoes and jk doens't even have jm's no, jk said they're coworkers" cause just three days back i was watching a jkk video on yt nd out of habit i was scrolling through cmnts nd this was the first comment under the pinned comment.

Whenever someone enters the fandom they get corrupted by tkklives channel with her 500k subscribers where all she does is manipulate shit cause ever since she made that channel 3 days after gcft nd gave them the "Tokyo trip was supposed to be vminkook" she's their mother savior who fills all their DeLuSiOnAls and she just knows how to do it.

Ppl starts hating on jm just over a ship and no matter how many times y'all say "jkkrs nd tkkrs are same" they will never be cause there's a big difference in the number of deranged ppl in jkk nd tk fandom. Yes i agree there's ppl in jkk fandom that are just as deranged as tkkrs but again the difference in number is like earth nd sky. Jkk fandom is not even half in no of tkkrs even lizkook shippers are more worldwide than jkkrs. Jkkrs deluled themselves in their own Little bubble with some 100 people but when a tkkr make a delulu tweet they deluled themselves along of some 10k other tkkrs and that is the number of difference in deranged ppl in both ships. No other shipper has harassed so many brands that work with BTS who has to put Stories about calling out tkkrs, no other shippers got blocked by polyc (their tatto artist especially jk's) nd got put on story, no other shippers has harassed other models or ppl calling them cosplayers cause they couldn't handle to see their fav holding hands with a woman in another country to the point the person has to put Stories after Stories to ask ppl to stop. No other fandom has got made fun of the way Kpopies made fun of hmlvrart and embarrassed armys. No matter how many times y'all say both are same they're not.

not saying ppl should engage in all things tkkrs say but i hope everyone call them out where it's due.

A couple of years ago I read two bts social media aus I really want to find again. I remember the plot and characters really well, so I’ll leave what I know below. Please help me out, I really want to re-read them!

YiZhan Fandom Interview with Renren !!

Preface:

In my attempt to sort out all the massive information that is generated almost daily in the BJYX fandom, I came up with an idea to interview prominent 🐢 for pointers, recommendations and advice as kind of a starter compilation kit for newbies.

Also, my intent is to provide some translations of the interviews (if you’re also interested in translating, let me know thru’ my twt acc below) for international fans and contribute my grain of salt to thin the language barriers and get to know more fans or simply, know your fave person in fandom.

With that being said, this is my first interview, so any constructive FB is welcome!

So, the first question is kind of a mandatory introduction.

Q. Please, tell us a bit about yourself. How you like to be called or how do you go by in this fandom and how long you’ve been in the swamp?

I’m Renren, but most folks call me Ren. I’m a fic writer and a szd shipper (which for new folks means I believe they’re actually in a relationship, this is also called being a tinhat lol).

I watched The Untamed in January 2021, and then watched the official BTS, and saw a shipper in the comments and was like “huh, people ship real people?” I was no stranger to shipping fictional characters (I’ve written Reylo before), but RPS was brand new to me. But the more I watched of the BTS and then the unofficial BTS, I was like, oh yeah, there’s something here. The cave BTS sealed it for me.

So, I’ve been in the pit since January/February 2021. I lurked for a long time, then joined fandom more actively in the fall of 2021, and started writing and released my first Yizhan fic in Jan 2022.

This is your first RPS? Wow, how cool is that? To debut with such a power couple! ☺️

Q. When you were a lurker, which SNS did you mostly use?

Q. Where are you most active/ favorite place to dabble in fandom-wise?

I lurked on tumblr mostly, and read Twitter without an account. I didn’t make one until August, and I don’t think I used it to post until September/October 2021.

I’m active most on Twitter, with Tumblr set up as my backup to Twitter.(@renren85105)

By the way, you have very distinct profile pic (wyb with an octopus plushie on his head!). Did you always use it?? Is there a reason why you chose that? 🤭

I think I had a different one when I signed up, but I can’t remember it - I chose it because I like tentacles lol

As in a fic trope/kink? or something else? 😆

Both lol, I’ve always loved octopuses, I think they’re darling, but I also enjoy tentacles as a trope.

We’ll come to that later~~! There’s a question regarding that afterwards.

Q. What was your first drive/motivation to start writing about them? Would you share a link to your first fic?

It was Xiao Zhan’s lightsaber video!!! I had this idea for a Star Wars AU with the two of them, and it took me over body and soul and I finally had to write it. The first story I posted though was the first Golden Girls AU,

then the Star Wars AU came out a month later.

By the way, you guys have to go read Renren’s Golden Girls AU cos I can assure you, you are going to enjoy it SO much, if you haven’t already!!

So on to the next one!

Q. How many fics have you written so far? Which one is the one that you’re most fond of and why?

I’ve written 15 Yizhan fics so far, and drawn 10 mushroom fanarts! I’m not sure I can pick a favorite, but it’s between “Fireworks in the Stars” because it’s an original concept that I’ve been playing with for years and want to eventually write a full original novel with it, and “Houseboat of Love”, because I had so much fun with the exes-to-lovers concept. It was a bit angsty but I also wanted it to be a fun time with Xiao Zhan thirsting hard for his not-actually-ex-husband.

But I love everything I’ve published, if I don’t love it, I don’t release it.

I had totally missed that Renren’s mushroom posts are fanarts! I had to rush to see them and they are all SOSOSO Adorable, with capital A! The puns are sublime. I loved them all to bits and she has confirmed there’s more to come in the future!! Be on the look out, you guys!! 🥹🥹

Q. What’s your favorite trope to write/draw or a new one that want to try this year?

Oh, that’s hard! Because it’s different from my favorite tropes to read.

I really like to write getting together stories, especially if there is only one bed/they’re stuck together in some way.

But this is the year I’ll finally write tentacles, which is actually so much harder than I thought because a) I want to do it justice since I love it so much and b) there is SO MUCH choreography involved with all the extra limbs. You Belong in My Arms is my tentacle WIP, with chapter one out. Chapter one just has a cute octopus and tentacle kink, but no actual use of tentacles in a sexy way.

I will just restrain myself to say that Renren’s octopus is so cute like an underwater jianguo. I am hopelessly hooked to her fic that am anxiously looking forward to new chapters! But I digress…

Q. Are you bjyx, zsww or lsfy? Is this dynamic important to you when writing? (Or reading?)

So I am a bjyx-leaning lsfy. I enjoy reading everything, but I prefer writing bjyx or Yibo top lsfy.

That sounds like it’s the same thing, but the power dynamics are different between them (bjyx Yibo is IN CHARGE while it’s much more neutral in lsfy).

You mean like, Yibo makes the move? Or that he decides how he wants XZ?

Yeah, in BJYX makes most of the decisions, he’s very dominant in the bedroom and outside of it.

I like strong Yibo, indeed 😏

Q. What’s your most fave 🍬? Have you written about it? Where do you get most of your 🍬 sources?

My most favorite candy is the tattoo cpn! I have used it, most literally in an unreleased work, but I love to give both of them tattoos in my works anytime I can.

My candy sources are from Twitter (overthinkingthis, ecah, shirasagis, ventus for older candies) and tumblr (accio-victuuri), and I avoid folks sharing stalker footage or making wild claims like they know someone in the business or disparage their co-stars, because it’s harmful to the boys & just flat out rude.

I think for us newbies, we need to be careful and prudent on that and not fall for everything we see or outright edited (fake) info, cos it’s becoming harder to distinguish 😵‍ (out of my own experience)

So, the next question is selective, you can choose either or both…

A) Did you read THE fic? The controversial 22/7 one? How did you like it? How would you end it?

AND/OR

B) Do you wanna talk about wyb’s latest NYG’s LtS performance?

A) I didn’t. I didn’t even go looking for it, it has so many emotions and events attached to it, I think it’s best to just let it rest. No judgment for folks who decide to read it, though! Just my opinion.

B) Yes I do!! it was gorgeous and emotional, all about the yearning and longing you feel when you’re away from your partner and the bright warmth you feel when you’re back with them. It felt real, like he was pulling it from the depths of his soul.

It’s raw and vulnerable, and he did such a good job, I’m so proud of him! (And no, I don’t think it’s a breakup song or born from anything other than long distance relationships being hard.)

That performance was so heartfelt indeed 🥲

Q. Who is a content creator (writer, artist, v/blogger… etc) you would rec to a newbie? (Name as many as you wish) And lastly, a piece of advice for newbie 🐢!

Oh gosh, so many people! It’s hard to not just list all of my friends lol.

OldObsess/Overthinkingthis is a fantastic writer and candy librarian, her fics have great footnotes with all the different things she references in her fics.

Elisamiao is another amazing writer and she is so supportive of new writers in the fandom. I call her the fandom’s librarian because she is fantastic at fic recommendations, and can find what you’re looking for so fast!

Jalpari runs great events, and is a prolific writer, her Yizhan Through the Years is the first/second most kudos’d fic in the fandom. She is also very supportive of new authors/artists in the fandom!

BJYXObsessed is hilarious, her fics are so good and her meme threads are laugh out loud funny, I see them all over the place as reaction memes.

Bjyxnoa is a great update account on Twitter, and for deep cpn and candy discussions I like to go to Accio-victuuri on tumblr.

A piece of advice I have for new turtles is to not worry too much about proof of their relationship. They don’t have to prove anything to us, and each person has to decide for themselves how to interpret the things they do tell us. Everyone has their own “realness” comfort level, and that’s okay! It’s okay to be 100% szd and it’s okay to not be!

Lastly, their privacy is extremely important. Stalker footage is wrong, even if it “proves” what you want to see.

And don’t break the fourth wall with them, for example, if Yibo makes another Instagram post, don’t flood the comments with shipper comments, their social accounts are for work, and so we should keep our comments to the individual and the work they’re doing.

i've never done this before, so thought i'd give it a shot! after returning to rp following a 3-year break, i've found that rps nowadays are pretty fast-paced and based more on sns/talking rather than threading, and so—i'd love to find a long term 1x1 bts rp partner to write with!

i currently rp as jimin and i am hoping to find a jungkook. i have a soft spot for these two in maknae line and i would love to take their interactions in writing further.

must be 21+ as i am 25+ (i'm more comfortable writing mature based plots this way). i have experience in writing top/dom type characters, but i'd like to change things up, and try writing as a bottom/sub—however, i don't mind switching that up from time to time.

i prefer to write literate, long, third person pov replies with my word count usually bordering around 400-600+ words—and i am hoping to find someone who can match, though i realize not every reply will be this way depending on the plot/scene, etc. do give me your character's thoughts and the little details though! i love reading that. i'm also hoping to have consistent replies that progress our writing.

i do want to focus on non-au type plots, however, i am open to plotting au too. i enjoy brainstorming with rp partners and i'd love if we could share ideas together as opposed to only one of us contributing—it inspires me to write! :) whether we want to have one thread going on at a time or multiple, i am open to it.
