This is maybe a hot take, but I don’t know if this changes my opinion about her much if at all. I still think she’s a fundamentally good person (particularly as far as celebs go). Maybe she just has a blind spot for this guy, maybe she believes it’s all just part of his edgelord gimmick, or maybe she believes he’s actually working on himself and that she cares enough about him to focus on that. Different anon sadly people underestimate power scaling. Favorite example being people thinking Pokémon can defeat digimon when their top end reaches as far as ultimate (mega for dub) who’s scaling goes from city block at the lowest of which some of previous levels are stronger to multiversal

Some years ago being a powerhouse like the archons in genshin would be a ruge deal in Lol universe, but that was before their new 'lore master' [the guy who heads their narrative department, but i forgot the real tittle] took over. and being a well know anime [Db principally] fan, he basically hyped things up by a notch.

Even your everage joe magic user that was barely city-level back in the days are now performing feats of countinental levels.

Yes, archons can split islands, create hurricanes that can blow out montains and so on, but so does also Qiyana and her elementalists[as seen in her lore and voice lines]. And as we got statements those feats are not even the most impressive things.

Here we get that while being a primary source of magic in runeterra, the elemental one is the weakest of the three.

Spiritual magic not only is the strongest magic type but this thing allows you to warp reallity. That's the ultimate cheat code! "You have the power to destroy the universe? Too bad, now you don't" type of situation, like how you fight against that?

And like, a vesani is ridiculously powerful in reality warping. Look at this part of the descripition we got of wither in lore:

Is it ridiculous? Yes. How exactly you fight against this crap? This is the main reason that i barely if ever roleplayed fights. Even if i place more limitations than 'they still need to feed from spiritual magic to survive' and 'they must move their tails to generate enough power for their spells ' or 'she can't exactly exerce this level of power because subconciently she fears what she's capable of ' like rito did, it still feels like i'm cheating.

This kind of things works on Ahri's lore, because she is all about fearing what she''s capable of and not wanting to be a 'monster' who is only good for kill. Not much on Luna's case, cuz she doesn't give a crap about killing.

Even if i go against canon and decide my foxo doesn't know wither level spells, she is more than capable to still clean the floor with any archon of genshin by just her everage spell pool. Is not even a contest in any way...

I didn’t realise this until adulthood but handmade birthday piñatas are the apex of parental devotion. I spent the week cooking for my ravenous teenage cousins and felt a bit crestfallen at times that I was spending so long making something that was going to disappear within minutes—but with piñatas it’s so much worse, they exist to be savagely maimed. Year after year my father asked his kids what shape they wanted this year’s piñatas to be and he spent weeks painstakingly making them in the basement after work, only to watch a bunch of oversugared bat-wielding kids gleefully destroy them in less than 10 minutes. 

I mentioned this to him and he said he remembered researching tarantula anatomy for the giant spider piñata I asked for when I was 4, trying to make the fangs the right shape and to cut the crepe paper into very thin ribbons so the thing would look appropriately fuzzy, and I was like “and I don’t even remember it because I was four!! spending so long building a beautiful object only so your kids will have fun destroying it, knowing they won’t even remember it, is such a selfless endeavour” and he said “my other motivation was that you said you wanted the spider to look real & scary so the kids at your birthday party would be terrified of it and you’d get to scoop up all the candy and I wanted to support your slyness & ambition”

i'm very picky about tv shows, but my pickiness has only an incidental relationship to whether or not a show is "good". it needs to scratch a particular itch in my brain at the right moment. do i know what the right moment is? no. do i know what the itch is? also no. i can be relied upon to get instantly bored of 85% of tv shows and then turn the remaining 15% into a central facet of my personality for 3-5 business months and even i am incapable of predicting which one it'll be ahead of time.
