And it has helped me realize -#-The worst critic for my work has always been myself. If I listened to it all the time...well we would not be here now B'*)#And now that I have dabbled in other fandoms I can truly see how lucky was to start out with the MXTX fans.#The supportive messages and tags have truly been a guiding force toward my artistic and self improvement.#I really can't describe how grateful I am.#Thank you for seeing something worth rooting for when I was just figuring things out.#Thank you for being sweeter than the candy I have strategically hidden in the nooks and crannies of this house.#But watch out! MY APARTMENT APPLICATION GOT FUCKING ACCEPTED IM MOVING OUTTA MY ABSUIVE HOUSEHOLD AND BUILDING THE AKI SHRINE IN JANUARY WOOOOOO

I just imagine aki throughout the years always being a safe space and then the second you'd graduate he would start looking at apartments to get you out of the situation. then you both finally find the right place, sign it and once you both get accepted aki just picks you up and swings you around all happy and won't stop hugging you. like he'd be all "you made it!! :'D" and probably cry happily at some point in such pure relief that after so many years of dealing with your parents shit and struggling so much mentally that you're finally free and it's all been worth it. and then moving out with aki? looking at furniture with aki? painting with aki? god he can get on one knee while covered in paint at this rate and whip out a ring pop and I'd say yes.

OH MY GOD THAT'S SO AMAZING DUDE I'M SO FUCKING HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!!! 💞💞💞💞 I'm so proud that's such a big achievement, I hope you are proud of yourself too <3 <3 <3

gossshhhhhh yes moving out with aki is everything, it makes me so soft... aki is your sense of comfort and you know he cares about you so much, when you tell him how you're feeling he'd almost immediately bring up the idea of moving in together. you can stay with him whenever you'd like, as long as it's comfortable for you. he'd never allow you to be alone and he always wants you to know you're safe with him... he'll make sure of that...

and then when you get your apartment together... having your own spaces but a shared space that reflects the two of you, there's just something so tender about it... when you come home and you see all the different decorations in your living room, yours and aki's shoes next to each other at the entrance, and aki in the kitchen making dinner for you and him, in that moment you truly feel at home.

Not to be extreme but dear God hold onto hope.

Things will be better one day. People will sing and dance in colorful clothes under dazzling lights again. A parent will rock their child to sleep on a quiet night again. A grandparent will teach their grandchild to cook a family recipe again. People will laugh and cry and love and grieve in the most mundane of ways once more. This will happen no matter what you believe, but hoping and believing in such things will ease your heart and kindle your resolve to see it within your lifetime. Have hope, and you will give life to the world you hope to see.

one of my favorite, favorite things about teaching is the way that it’s just the perfect hiding place for love. and I do mean hiding place. I can love a student so much, never say it, never even really say anything personal, only talk about books and homework, but they feel it anyway.

#idk how to explain it but it just suits me so well. it’s the only context I’ve ever had #where I can love so so so many people #but not have the burden of trying to voice it #or do something with it. or figure out the right context for the relationship #because it’s all there and it’s all figured out #and the magic thing is also that a student will always know if you love them #without you saying it. they will feel it and they will feel safe with you and they will love you too #and it’s just all buried deeply at the roots of things #and it’s just the best thing in the world to my heart #which is very loud but also so so shy #my heart is as shy as the most fragile adolescent tbh #teaching tag
