Idk TV show adaptations like the new percy jackson show or shadow and bone are in the same category as really good fanfiction to me, not because of quality reasons (ok quality matters but perfection isnt the point) but because theres something about them where it very much feels like the source materials essence so i can enjoy it for fan reasons, but at the same time, i don't feel any need to integrate it into my existing concept for the source material. Idk if this makes sense, but it's kind of like when you watch a good show or read good book, and you think "i want to watch/read more of this" but you dont want to REwatch/read it, but you want more. Its like, yes this is more of what i want without being the thing i want more of, yknow.

idk i told my partner i didnt want to discuss a particular tv show if they watched it and it made me realise how much the fandom's treatment of it and the attitude around it has completely soured my ability to engage in discussion about if even tho it does a lot of things well that i honestly enjoyed on top of what i think it did terribly and really alienated me as a viewer

Crying thinking about Lister’s love life. Because if things had been different and he got to leave Red Dwarf and continue his life on Earth he would’ve eventually gotten over Kochanski.

He would’ve had one-night-stands and flings and whirlwind romances and toxic relationships until he found someone just right. And they would’ve had an insane but wonderful relationship and he would have all the things he wished for with this potential person. He'd have his family and he'd take them to Zero-G football matches. He'd paint with his kids and proudly put their art on the wall.

And he would’ve deserved it, he’s a romantic at heart. It might’ve taken him a while to mature enough for it to happen for him, but it would happen.

The only reason I’m slightly annoyed about The Handler being dead is that I don’t feel like Five ever got to properly stand up to her. Like obviously, he beat her by rewinding time and taking her gun to defend himself but I don’t feel like he properly got to look her in the eye and make her realise that she couldn’t control him any more. yooo quick little update on projects

~ Voice lines ~ Recently finish uploading senseis in english, but I'm not done uploading voice lines! Tomorrow starts with the supercharger voice lines :D this includes their quest lines too

And with that if everything goes right ill be posting lines twice a day ! After I'm done with the superchargers i wanna upload some NPC lines from imagintors and superhcargers and then work on the senseis in spanish a lot of the lines for character during SSA-STT have already been uploaded by someone, so i wanna focus on the last 2 games

~ Models ~ ok so I have been a lot when it comes to extracting and that includes models if you go through my carrd there is a button that will lead ya to a mega folder with some of the models I've uploaded feel free to mess with those 3 while I work on preparing more i also wanna start uploading the renders of the models I've done for art reference. I spent most of may and june getting my hands on the ROH models and taking pics, but I was still learning how to use blender so they aint the best but I'm still willing to upload those pictures, ya know. Art references for the skylanders are hard to come by if you want to mess the ROH models you can find them here ( i didnt extract them)

Ok there is alot with this um there are all sorta of images from the games I can extract but right now im working on digging through files and see exactly what I have access too. I mostly have dig up icons right now but once I have enough to make some posts I will

this is such a silly thing to complain about but it vaguely annoys me when there’s comments in the notes of that comm that act like mig being shirtless is just there to be sexy when. it’s such an immensely normal experience for a parent to hold their child to their chest and bare skin. nudity is not inherently erotic and this context is specifically non sexual. it’s the human body, man.

It’s just the very normal experience of that kind of close physical connection and highlighting that intimacy and safety.
