4T3 Conversion of TwentiethCenturySims' Catalogue
A 4t3 conversion of (most of) twentiethcenturysims' catalogue for all your sims! I truly hope you like it! Enjoy! <3
In this compilation are included sets, mini-sets and standalone pieces that the original creator made! Recolors, posepacks, fantasy items, repeated pieces (things very similar to what I've already converted in the past), and pieces categorized as "timeless" are not included!
This is what I've been working on haha! My last statement for some time... thank you all so much, once again! 💖
————— —————
Known Problems:
The trim on the "Wilma Casual Dress" (purple dress with bow) gets a bit wonky at the end of the skirt! I tried to fix it in many different ways, but this is what I got!
The pleads on the "French Hen Dress" also get a bit wonky, same as above!
LIGHTING GLITCHES ONLY APPEAR ON CAS!
* Note that teens and elders have neck gaps. This is sadly the price for having them available! For teens, try using this and this slider by gruesim!
————— —————
ALL OG CREDITS GO TO @twentiethcenturysims! IT’S NOT MY MESHES, AND IT’S NOT MY TEXTURES, I JUST CONVERTED THEM TO THE SIMS 3!
————— —————
NOTES:
Because TwentiethCenturySims is a great creator, his whole catalogue is quite low-poly and gameplay friendly, so don't worry about that!
All 3 hats are hat-slider compatible and unissex, as always!
The Ida, Annie and Elsie dresses (gingham and flowers pattern) all have 11 presets. First 10 are overlays, having multiple floral options, but with collars, buttons and bows being recolorable. Last one is completely recolorable!
The "baby sweater" (green sweater with black tie) has 4 presets, first two having christmas-like patterns, third one having a knitted pattern, and last one being completely CAStable!
The "baby dress" (red dress with white collar) has 12 presets. 6 first presets have a velvety texture which is recolorable, with 5 flower options to the collar, and one without the flowers. Same applies to the other 6, but they don't have the velvet texture to the dress!
The "baby hat" also comes with 2 presets, one having a velvety texture, and the other one not!
The "Havana jacket" (orange jacket with white shirt) has 31 presets. First one is completely recolorable, and the other 30 are a variety of overlay patterns to the white shirt. The jacket stays recolorable in all of them!
The "Eleanor 1930's Dress" (green dress with bow) has 6 presets. First 4 have overlay patterned presets to the dress, but the bow, collar and trim stay recolorable. The last 2 are completely CAStable!
The "Piper Dress" (kids' dress with blue bow) has 4 presets. The first 4 have overlay patterned presets on the dress, but the rest remains recolorable! The last one is completely recolorable!
The "Goose Suit" (kids' gray suit) has 3 presets. First two have different patterns checkered patterns, and the last one is plain. In all of them the collar is an overlay texture.
The "Ruffles the Clown Costume" has 2 presets, having two different stripe options.
The "Billy Sailor Suit" (Toddler's sailor-inspired outfit) has 2 presets, with two different mask options. The second one has three little recolorable circles on the belt.
The "Darlene Sailor Dress" is the same as the above, but reversed haha!
The "Swan Suit" (houndstooth patterned suit) is totally recolorable, though it may not seem like it lol! I added the houndstooth pattern from CAS, which you can remove and put anything you want instead!
The "Bonnie Two-Piece Dress" (checkered dress with buttons) has two versions: the AF-EF version, as usual, and a teen-age conversion, just because I feel like it'd be useful to you!
The "Viola 1930's Dress" (yellow stripes and brooch dress) has 5 presets. The first, second and last presets are totally recolorable, having different mask options! Third and fourth presets have floral patterned overlays on the dress, but the collar, belt, etc. remains recolorable! The brooch looks a bit off without the accessory overlay, which is the next note!
There is an overlay/color mix accessory for the brooch on the "Viola Dress, which can be found in the socks category. It gives a multiplier (details) to the brooch, as well as making it fully recolorable! If you're going to use the dress, I highly recommend only using it with the accessory activated! It has a separate thumbnail, as seen in the previews!
As you saw on the previews, there are two buy mode objects: a highchair and a potty, both for your babies! They're found where these objects are usually found (Kids -> Baby Furniture). The potty costs §30, and the highchair costs §100!
You probably noticed the 4 skirt thumbnails (with its half options) at the bottom. Because I don't want this post to be gigantic, I'll link to the original post where twentiethcenturysims explains how to use them and their purposes: HERE! Yes, they're found under "accessories"!
I think that's all haha! Now to the download! <3

Can you imagine having a Palm Springs, California address, like the wealthy, for less than $750K? Well, here's the chance. Two rock homes are for sale - 1 for $749K and 1 for $699K - both have already been reduced by $50K. 2bds, 1ba.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They were built in 1930 inspired by Hopi and Navajo homes. The owner passed away and the family has had them on the market since 2022. They are historic and eligible for tax abatement under California's Mill Act Program.
Tumblr media
The listing is focused on the smaller one, listed for $699K.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, you have a large living room with a fireplace. There's a nice big alcove, too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You could do something with this. The alcove has a little stage-like elevation.
Tumblr media
I'm not sure what this is, but there doesn't seem to be a kitchen. Maybe that's why this fireplace is higher, like an oven?
Tumblr media
This looks like it would make a good kitchen, especially if you want a huge one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A patio is outside the potential kitchen.
Tumblr media
Here's a table by an old heat stove and there's also a cabinet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The larger home, built in 1929, features a casita.
Tumblr media
The real estate photos are terrible. They don't show bedrooms, baths, or which house is which.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A private road with limited access leads to the homes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The property looks neglected and overgrown, with lots of dead weeds.
Tumblr media
You can see here how the private road veers away from a Palm Springs neighborhood with pools and stuff.
Tumblr media
Looks like you can't access it from that main road. It's like the black sheep of the family that has to use the back door.
Tumblr media
The lot is 3.33 acres. I know that they reduced the prices but it still seems a lot for just a couple of stone shells. What do you think?

Note
I really wanna ask which person on the writing team for Captain America the First Avenger and CA: The Winter Soldier was in charge of researching the 1930's slang words for Steve and Bucky's conversations bc there's no way that guy wasn't gay, there's so many gay slang phrases they used: Bucky convincing Steve to move in with him and says he can "shine my shoes" which is slang for "suck my dick"... or how "punk" was meant "passive partner"/"bottom" back then lmaooo. stucky is so boyfriends-coded

The Loomis Radio School, Washington D.C. ca. 1921.
The school was located at 401 Ninth St. N.W. and operated with the call letters 3YA. By 1920 it was offering a six month course enabling the graduate to obtain a first grade commercial radio license and by January of 1922 was offering a four year course with a degree in Radio Engineering bestowed on graduates.
The school was founded by Mary Texanna Loomis, pictured in the last photo.
Born August 18, 1880 near Goliad, Texas. She was the second child born to Alvin Isaac and Caroline (Dryer) Loomis. Though born on homestead in Texas in 1880, by 1883 her parents had returned to Rochester NY and then on to Buffalo where Alvin became president of a large delivery and storage company. Little is known of her early years, but appears she had a fairly middle-class up bringing. She seemed well schooled, with an early interest in music and language (she mastered French, German and Italian) Her early years were spent in Buffalo, NY and she later relocated to Virginia.
During the early years of World War I, she became interested in the new field of wireless telegraphy. There was a family precedent; her cousin, Dr. Mahlon Loomis, had conducted early wireless experiments with moderate success and may in fact have been the first person, in 1865, to send and receive wireless signals.
Mary soon became proficient enough in wireless telegraphy to be granted a license by the United States Department of Commerce. Thoroughly fascinated with the field now called “radio”, she decided to turn her expertise into a career. Also, she wanted to do something that would honor her pioneering ancestor. Her idea was to do this by founding a radio school.
Though radio was indeed, for many years, a profession dominated by men, Mary Loomis around age 40 took no notice and in 1920 founded the Loomis Radio School in Washington, D.C. and it quickly gained an excellent reputation. Ms. Loomis set high standards for the school and it attracted students not only from the United States but Europe and Asia as well. Loomis enjoyed teaching as much as she enjoyed radio itself. In an interview, she said, “Really, I am so infatuated with my work that I delight in spending from 12 to 15 hours a day at it. My whole heart and soul are in this radio school.”
As president and Lecturer of the Loomis Radio School, Mary authored a definitive book on radio, named “Radio Theory and Operating.”
By January 1922 the school was offering a four year course with a degree in Radio Engineering bestowed on graduates. Loomis also intended that her students understand more than just the inner and outer workings of radio. In addition to a radio laboratory (with equipment constructed almost entirely by Mary herself), the school maintained a complete shop capable of teaching carpentry, drafting and basic electricity. She reasoned that many of her graduates might find themselves at sea, or in other challenging situations and she wanted them adequately prepared. “No man,” Ms. Loomis said, at the time, “can graduate from my school until he learns how to make any part of the apparatus. I give him a blueprint of what I want him to do and tell him to go into the shop and keep hammering away until the job is completed.”
The school appears to have been in existence at least through the early 1930's, but it has not been possible to find information after that.
In an interview given to H.O. Bishop of the Dearborn Independent in 1921, Mary was asked: “What sort of young men are taking up the radio profession?” to which she replied:
“The Kind who have grit and want to get there! Virtually all of them are ambitious and enthusiastic over the possibility of visiting every nook and corner of the world. My students are not only enrolled from various sections of the USA and Canada but from many foreign countries, such as Sweden, Ireland, England, Poland, Russia, Austria, Rumania and the Philippines. One of the brightest pupils I ever had was Prince Walimuhomed of Far-away Afghanistan. He was an extremely modest young man, keeping his real identity a secret until after graduating. He said he had no idea of earning his living by working at radio, but just wanted to know all about it. He does. You have no idea how much happiness I get out of the success of each individual graduate. My boys keep in touch with me from all parts of the world. Scarcely a day goes by that I do not get some trinket or postcard from some remote section of the world. I have made the wonderful discovery that the only way for me to get happiness for myself is to make some one else happy. I find that I am making these young men happy by teaching them every phase of the radio business so that they can earn a comfortable living for themselves and their dependents and at the same time, see the great big beautiful world.
As far as we can figure out, Mary Loomis left Washington D.C. around 1935 and moved to San Francisco where she worked as a stenographer. She died in 1960 and is interred at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Colma, CA.

hey!!
I feel like I’m in a CA/NY mood, so why not give you some hc’s???
yippee!
-
-“I hate everyone but you” trope
-York and Cal go traveling together. Whether it’s to a different country or to another state. They mostly go to Paris or New York City, but they’ve been to many others. I can just imagine them walking around, holding hands and Cal goes, “ohmygod! The Eiffel Tower!” “No way?! In Paris?! I nevah would’ve guessed!”
-they cuddle anywhere and almost all of the time. Whenever they get the chance, really. They’ll cuddle on the couch or maybe ontop of a building.
-cal has ONE photo of York smiling and it is the background of his phone. York takes every chance to try and delete it off of his phone but his plans have failed.
-New York always sleeps in fetal position to keep warmth and to protect himself. He used to do this when he was younger and now it’s just become a habit.
-Cal likes to collect little silly objects that he finds when out with York. Whether he has to buy it, steal it, or just pick it up, he will have it. (most of them are little bird sculptures)
-neither of them like the sound of fireworks, but they like the picture, so they usually just stay inside where it’s muffled (they both have PTSD) to watch the southern and high western idiots light fireworks whil Gov freaks out about literally everything going on. He would have to stop Florida from “riding a firework to the moon”. (it
-Physical touch but also words play a huge role. They have to know if the other loves them back the same, so words of love and appreciation are crucial because they both have trust issues.
-York can only fall asleep when he’s with cal. If not, he just feels too alone and cold. He feels too much like his old self.
-literally the most powerful couple ever.
-Cal will imitate Yorks accent to try and be more aggressive. York will wince at the horrible pronunciations of the words. “Okay, that’s enough. Please stop, B.” “Yous bettah- huh?”
-NY never stops moving, always fiddling with something. Cal’s flannel buttons, his ring (married??!!), his shirt, etc. Mans will be moving even if he is exhausted.
- tea and coffee duo
- “You think we’re in love in every universe?” “I bet ya we are.”
- York helps him answer financial questions, but when York gets too “full of himself” (he really doesn’t, he just gets carried away) cal always says, “Woah, settle down, dude. Your acting like you didn’t crash the economy back in the 1930’s.” “Okay Mr. Movie Star- Oh wait, what evah happened to that career? Still hasn’t taken off, huh?” “HEY!-“
-York frequently steals Cal’s shirts and sweaters because he likes baggy clothes. “I’m vegan and I’m American!” As an example of what one of the shirts says. 😭
heyyy
so.. it’s been a while since I posted CA/NY, so yay
I created these really quickly if you couldn’t tell 😔
but I hope you liked!
ily guys <3

Alledia, in this version, is split up into 7 countries:
Windsor
Coco
Lufen
Nautilus
Frontera
Kanalis
Gulfeńn (which is split into more regions, or provinces)
Tumblr media
(I will draw a better quality map someday 😔)
I made the map a little less of one big supercontinent, and I thought that making this world feel a little bigger would help make this story feel more vast without needing to leave the planet (I am never forgiving Kazu for that goofy ending in book 7, it literally came out of nowhere)
I will update this map later (I’m going to move the mountain range in Gulfeńn to the coast, so that geographically it makes a little sense as to why that whole area is an arid desert, and extend the mountain range up up north a bit)
During the war all the western countries are known as the Common Alliance (or at least, it will be if I don’t think of a less cheesy name). The best way to think about these countries is this:
(The flags are a bit ugly, but I tried my best 😭)
Windsor:
Tumblr media
NOT occupied by Gulfeńn yet
the superpower of the CA
It’s really cold up there
Like… wet and cold
This place is just 1940’s England
Their national animal is the whale
I imagine Windsorian cities looking like Dunwall from Dishonored
Coco:
Tumblr media
I haven’t come up with much other than it’s a small nation with not that much to offer in the way of trade, and was actually going through negotiations to become a part of Lufen before the war
Not occupied by Gulfeńn
Nautilus:
Tumblr media
They are only partially occupied by Gulfeńn
The “front line” country
A lot of citizens have been displaced from here
This country (in my head at least) reminds me a little of Ireland
Frontera:
Tumblr media
Completely occupied by Gulfeńn
A lot of elves actually live here
Human-Elf relations here is a lot more chill than in… say Windsor
Kanalis:
Tumblr media
Also completely occupied by Gulfeńn
Basically if Chicago was a country
I always read Enzo and Rico’s lines in a Chicagoan accent, because they have Italian names 🤷‍♂️
Lufen:
Tumblr media
‘MERICA RAAAHHHH 🦅🦅🦅
Idk, I have it in my head that this is cowboy country
This place is a lot looser than The boarder countries or Windsor
It’s a bunch of farmland broken up by forest, plains, and towns (kinda like where I live)
These guys are technically neutral, but have been sending supplies to Windsor
I will have a separate post for Gulfeńn (and why I am spelling it like that), but for now I want to focus on the human countries.
You might be wondering… how exactly did humans end up on Alledia anyways? Well my friend, I have a surprisingly simple answer for you!
I don’t fully know :/
I’d like to think they stumbled across the “Gate” (or portal thingy that Emily stumbled into) at some point hundreds of years ago, and adapted accordingly… but that leaves a couple of plot holes (how did that many people fit through the Gate? How did people of that many different cultures come all at once?) so let’s just not think about that for now 😅
The time period in which this will be set is more so in the 1930’s-1940’s. Because this is fantasy, we don’t have to be exact, and we can be a bit more flexible with “historical accuracy” or whatever.
I feel like a war oriented story such as this would benefit more from a Dieselpunk aesthetic. That way we have a bit of the modern age to work with, in terms of technology, and a thematic framework for the story right off the bat.
Here is an example of Dieselpunk! This piece is called Gray Monster by Jakub Rozalski:
Tumblr media
I think mechs, blimps, and wartime would work perfectly with this genre of punk
final quick note, in my version of this story there are a couple different powers at play: The Common Alliance (bad-ish guys), The Resistance (okay guys), Gulfeńn (bad-ish guys), Ceilis (meh guys), and the Luna Moth Crew (good guys!)
Remember, this is an ongoing WAR. It is NOT a good time to live in Alledia, and the world should feel as such. With that being said, this is not going to be a “gritty” depressing story. I still want to capture the magic that the early books had. We can still have some fun with it!
Let me know what you think and if I should change anything :D
