What's a male-to-male cord???

A dangerous configuration of an extension cord that will most likely cause electrocution and cause fires. It's also lovingly called 'the su*c*de cord' for that reason because of how dangerous it is if not handled by a professional. Called 'male-to-male' due to the fact that somehow someone thought that each time you have a piece that you stick into something else you have to call it 'male' and the other receiving part 'female'...what a moron who created that name, nothing else on their mind. I’ve legitimately had a rotten day today. :(

#it’ll get better probably but I’ve been close to tears all day and I’m not really a crying person #never cry ever but today has made me want to pull my hair out! #I wake up late for work and then I go to close the door to my kitchen and the HANDLE falls off #had to move everything from my living room to the kitchen because there are workers fixing a part of the wall #forgot my headphones #get to work and my manager just randomly decided to switch everyone’s seats for the fun ig but like #I have issues with change and routine and blah blah also he sat me next to a dude that makes me uncomfortable #so I asked to move and then we had to move all the pcs around and all the cables were messed up #chest hurts my asthma is acting up and I still don’t have an inhaler #got into a fight with my bf over something stupid and almost cried in public #(all is well it was a silly fight) #didn’t get to get the hot chocolate I wanted because I was upset over said fight and just walked back to work #I go to get lunch and the place closed early somehow when they never do that #I am almost completely broke #get home to relax and the workers are STILL HERE even though they were supposed to be finished hours ago #it’s all a lot of silly small things but I do feel as if the world is against me today #bf is going to buy me pizza for dinner and also I have a rp reply from Simon I can distract myself with so all will be well soon!!!!

“‘kay I am fucking sick and tired of you shitheads asking me for dual male ended cables, so I’m gonna fucking show you all why they don’t make these.” The mechanic proceeds to slam a full can of soda onto the table, diet funnily enough, and pulls a coiled up cord from his pocket and slams it down next to the can. 

“Alright, I want you all to watch very closely at what I’m about to do.” Uncoiling the wire, he plugs one end into the wall, being very careful with the other end as he makes his way back to the can, his out of character caution telling of just how dangerous all this was. Taking a moment’s hesitation to make sure no one was gonna die first, he just barely touches the prongs to the can, sending it shooting across the room with a loud crack of electricity, soda spraying about in a sugary geyser. 

Despite this starting out as an aggravated scolding, the mechanic couldn't help but grin at the explosion, wiping the soda from his face with laugh. “’kay, that is why I won’t make this shit, but if you wanna play with it, you can come to my shop. I ain’t missing out on that shit!”
