did you know? the words "meta" and "metagame" in competitive gaming come from Super Smash Bros. Andre n Metallica

I don't know if this was in the movie, so I'm gonna headcanon that Andre is a metallica listener and I stand by the idea so much like he'd be blasting their music in his room or when he lifts some weights. Metallica would play in the bg and Andre is doing his homework, Cal would just sit at the edge of his bed and both are bopping silently and headbanging just a little bit.

I also think he would be into thrash metal music in general. 80s thrash metal bands, Andre would be so into that.
