Ohhohoooho this is a question I will very much enjoy answering, thank you! I will go fandom by fandom from most recent hyperfixation to past ones that I still love and regard fondly as one might a nice ornament on the mantle piece

Ghosts, specifically Cap (romance/queerplatonic):

Capvers: a classic, 99.9% confidence interval on being canon, love fics which explore it in the timeframe or in modern AUs. Can’t go wrong with it

PatCap: the grumpy one is soft for the sunshine one. 10/10. They’re both human, they both have faults and they love each other because of them and not despite them.

Caphrey (or deCAPitation, source unknown for this genius name): Humphrey can smooth out Cap’s rough edges in a different way to Pat. I love Humphrey, he tried so hard. So did Cap. I love their potential for comfort and understanding in a different way to others.

JuliCap: the Captain deserves to feel good and feel sexy and I think this Julian would be a great for exploring his sexuality in a more adventurous way. I have a real soft spot for JuliCap and have made tentative plans for a beast!Julian and beauty!Cap fic in the future.

CapRroh: Robin has just so much depth to him, he’s seen a lot and he knows the Cap has been through it too. So much comfort potential here (bonus points for JuliCapRroh polycule, absolutely delicious)

CapThorne: I just think it’s neat! Let Cap be wooed! Let Thomas be moved away from his infatuation with Alison and realise that he’s in love with the idea of being in love with her and not actually in love with Alison herself!

Special mention to Alison and Mike to being a genuinely wonderful on-screen couple, Chess Husbands, Pat/Julian and Annie/Mary (my beloveds)

Non-romantic (friend/found-family)

Kitty and Captain: their friendship means so much for me. Kitty and Cap finding a reassuring and understanding presence in each other, learning with each other, overcoming their trauma’s together and just finding safety.

Cap and Fanny: the gin and gossip society of Button House. Also regularly joined by Humphrey (who is also a massive gossip).

Kitty and Fanny: I can’t put this into words other than to say that Kitty would drag Fanny kicking and screaming into the future. Fanny doesn’t call Cap or Robin for tech support, she calls Kitty. Mary too.

JJK:

Nanami Kento/Gojo Satorou: this ship makes me feel so many things. God I love it.

Also I love the different dynamic of mentor-student relationship between Nanami and Yuji, very much coloured by what happened to Haibara.

Nanami Kento/Hiromi Higuruma: tired grumps with a strong moral code. 10/10.

Yes, this is me going through my asks box and getting a very strange and lovely little inspo for some Harry (sorry no oral) love! I literally wrote this while sitting in my car in the parking lot of my apartment building. It is def not beta'd. Anyway, without further ado for my beloved @churchkey...

Intrusive Thoughts (title is still being workshopped) 550 Words, Harry/Lew, Pre-canon, Hot Memories, Mature

Harry bounces up the last few steps to the officers’ quarters, excited to be transferred back into a lieutenant position. Of the two figures in the room, he recognizes Dick Winters by the shock of red hair, having been introduced earlier that morning, but doesn’t know the darker haired man other than through the grapevine. Lieutenant Nixon’s being promoted to Regiment, you’ll be replacing him in Easy Co under Captain Sobel, that sort of thing.

They’re having what’s clearly a private conversation, about the battlefield incompetence of Sobel, he assumes, as it’s the worst kept secret of the 101st. His mind is wrapping around that thought, when suddenly the dark-haired man turns and Harry is hit with déjà vu like a baseball bat to the back of the head.

Suddenly the images come to him, unbidden, as though they happened yesterday and not months before he’d joined. That same head of only slightly-kempt hair, the thick eyebrows, the dimpled chin. He recognizes that face, in the foggy way the brain remembers things that happened when a person was shiny-faced.

Fall of 1940. There’d been talk of the Nazi party around Yale’s campus when he’d gone to visit his cousin for a weekend. He’d had a fight with Kitty, something about whether they’d go to school together when she graduated. She would’ve married him years ago; it had been him who’d drug his feet. Couldn’t remember why. Although that night had put his reticence in a stark sort of perspective.

The flirting had been quick work before Lew directed him: up the stairs of the fraternity house, second room on the left. He, Lew, was on Harry before the door had properly shut, the click of the latch echoing in the wood at his back. Their alcohol-soaked breaths mingling when Harry opened to the onslaught of this man’s tongue, he reveled in the feeling of 5 o'clock shadow against his skin. All his wondering finally snapping into place with the thought that ah yes, this feels good too.

“Done this before?” Lew murmured against his lips.

“No, never.”

“Still want to?”

Instead of asking, Harry continued onto the next step in the process, or what he assumed it would be, and unbuttoned the handsome man’s pants. No belt. Odd. And loafers. If he hadn’t known better, he might’ve thought something like this had been planned.

Lew took Harry’s hand in his and placed it inside his shorts, so he’d encounter the heat of skin on skin instead of cotton. Lew’s hand began to move with his, wrapping both their hands sloppily around his cock and shifting it up and then back down, starting a rhythm which Harry continued solo when prompted.

Just then, he reciprocated by unbuttoning Harry’s pants, and a hand was inside his own pants as well, keeping the same sort of rhythm as the one he’d been instructed to start. It all felt heady and fogged, as though time had slowed, until Lew moaned and tightened his hand on Harry. They both tried, drunk as they may have been, to keep it from getting too messy, but Harry had known immediately that a spot clean would have to be performed before stumbling back to his cousin’s dorm room.

The memory, or maybe the daydream? Is gone as quickly as it came. Before the moment can get awkward, Harry gives them that quick smile. “Am I interrupting something?”
