I went to one of the sessions I need to take to have my autism reevaluated. Between personal questions the pet subject came out and the psychologist attending me didn't believe rats were social and affectionate. I pulled out my phone to show her videos of rats cuddling and grooming their owners to convince her.

So there have now been at least 4 separate Problem Dogs on my tiny two acre college campus this year:

The French bulldog that came to senior investiture and was barking and lunging at my SD; I think it belongs to a freshman

The large brown dog (didn't see it myself so that's all I've got) that someone vested and brought to the silent disco party, where it freaked the fuck out and was cowering and panicking at the crowds. I don't generally believe in fakespotting, but since nobody has seen it since, I'm guessing that that dog was VERY early in his training, if there was any, and was being pushed to go places it wasn't comfortable going and not being taken home when it was asked too much.

The small wire-haired brown dog that attacked another service dog team near the dining hall OFF leash. No idea whether this was a student's dog or just someone walking through campus inexplicably removing the leash from their dog but this was the only actual attack so far. I still think my friend should have kicked the dog and run but I'm a dick so.

The mfing chihuahua whose owner has been bringing it into class, into the science building, and most recently into my actual dorm. Again I don't know if this is a sd team but the dog does not behave up to standard, is frequently allowed off leash unsupervised (ran up to me and scared the shit out of me the other day while I was getting some milk from the communal fridge), and the owner stuck it in my friend's SD's FACE so they could 'say hi' once in the middle of a test. Who does that...???

Really hoping that the office of accessible education gets their asses in gear because this is honestly really scary. Of course they keep saying that there's nothing they can do but if my dog gets attacked I swear we will go legal. I'm NOT having that. It's only been a month of school lol... this shit is CRAZY
