#Marvel#Marvel comics#Marvel 616#Avengers Unlimited#Avengers Unlimited Infinity Comic#Moon Knight comics#latest release#Moon Knight#Marc Spector#Jake Lockley#Steven Grant#Captain America#Steve Rogers#hey Mr. Groom excuse me but how did you get access to inside my head because this is pretty much exactly what I could have wanted in life#because don’t get me wrong I love Mr. MacKay’s run but one thing I’ve been missing is just Steven - Jake - and Marc interacting#(and I was hoping that the name of this arc was in reference to the Moon Knight system but I hadn’t dared hope too much)#which means there’s so much I love here#love Jake’s jacket and the acknowledgement that the people he mingles with are in no way lesser than Steven’s socialite#or Marc’s superhero ilk but rather the people who often just need some help (whether that be through Steven’s funds/business acumen#Jake’s hands-on social support#or Marc’s /very/ hands-on support method of boxing villains over the head) but could be the least likely to get it#and !!!!! an acknowledgement that the system is a strength and an invaluable asset to Moon Knight work !!!!#and that it was Khonshu’s influence that was largely the problem as opposed to the system’s neurodivergence !!!!#and an acknowledgement from Cap of all people! I WEEP#it just means so much to me: Marc getting some support both from the system and from Cap#as well as how in character this is for Cap#as some of my favorite moments of his are where he reaches out to those deemed by others too ‘unstable’ or ‘unreliable’ to ever amount to#much in the grand scheme of things and he asks them to be Avengers#recognizing what invaluable talents they posses#could the cynical say this reads like a Saturday morning psa? sure but this is an infinity comic with Cap. Enjoy it for what it is akshsksj

Get Ready to Rumble: Road House Remake Bounces onto Prime Video in March!
Tumblr media
Calling all Swayze fans and fight aficionados! The highly anticipated Road House remake finally has a release date: March 21st, exclusively on Prime Video.
No need to hit the theaters for this one, grab your popcorn and settle in for some brawls from the comfort of your couch.
This modern take on the 80s classic swaps Patrick Swayze for Jake Gyllenhaal as Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter who trades the octagon for a bouncer gig at a Florida Keys roadhouse.
Sounds idyllic, right?
Think again. Paradise soon turns gritty as Dalton uncovers the joint's shady underbelly.
Enter Conor McGregor, making his major film debut as Knox, Dalton's nemesis.
Sparks are guaranteed to fly (and heads might roll) in their inevitable showdown.
Speaking of flying sparks, Gyllenhaal actually filmed some scenes at a real UFC event, getting the crowd pumped with a choreographed fight against veteran Jay Hieron.
Talk about immersive!
Here's what you can expect:
Release date: March 21st, 2024 (exclusively on Prime Video)
Stars: Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor McGregor
Director: Doug Liman
Runtime: 1 hour and 54 minutes

We've got a first look at the poster too, check it out!
Tumblr media
Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled trip down memory lane (with a modern twist) when Road House throws open its doors on March 21st.
Will it live up to the original?

Latest Release
Eddie Munson is at the local music store because he knows it's release day for a long-awaited album.
Drabble, no warnings except some cussing
___________________________________________
"Tim. Tim."
Eddie's palms pressed against the countertop, his eager, pleading eyes boring into the record shop owner's own. "When will you have it in stock?"
"Eddie, the record label may have released it today, but that doesn't mean I'll have it immediately."
"You had Seventh Star in the day before it released, though!" Eddie pointed out about Black Sabbath's latest album that had come out a few months prior.
"Call it karma," Tim surrendered. "And you wouldn't have even known that had you not been in here when we got the delivery."
"Sweetie, don't mess with him," his wife said, her hand falling on her husband's arm as she rounded the counter and looked at Eddie. "We were supposed to get it today, but we should have it in tomorrow. No later than Wednesday."
Eddie responded to her reassuring smile with a blank stare as he processed the information, discouragement bubbling inside him. The tinkling of the bell to the front door broke him out of his trance, and he shifted his weight, forcing a half-hearted smile and a "Thank you, Ms. Anne" with a two finger salute to Tim.
"You're welcome, hon," she called after him as he made his way over to the used music bin before greeting the person who had just come in.
Eddie sifted through the cassettes, disappointment slowly evolving into frustration because none of this was what he really wanted, and he kept coming across the same old stuff he always found there: The Bee Gees, Hank Williams, Elvis, etc. His uncle had those departments covered, though he did find a replacement copy of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon. The initial cassette met an unfortunate end via a freak accident involving his uncle's glasses, a window, and the sun. He plucked it from the bin and smiled to himself as he admired the irony of the album artwork for a moment, but his head snapped back up to the counter when he heard the name.
"Well I'll be damned," he heard Tim say. Ms. Anne's face broke into a smile as she pulled put a few albums and placed them on the counter. The orange and white shone like a beacon to Eddie from across the shop, a visual siren's call.
"Sweetie, he's gonna be so excited," she said gleefully.
"He's lucky, I'll give him that. Mr. Muns--" he stopped with a laugh once he saw Eddie already making a beeline toward them. "It must be your lucky day, kid."
Eddie's eyes were big as his hands reached slowly toward the stack, pausing to glance between the two as if asking for permission. Ms. Anne's smile was blinding as she nodded and gestured to them.
"Holy shit," he breathed, face drenched in awe as he held it up. She snorted out a chuckle.
"You'll have to wait until tomorrow, though," Tim said wearily, his hand rubbing against the back of his neck. Eddie's incredulous eyes flew to his, mouth agape when Tim followed up with a shrug, "Gotta run inventory."
"If you don't stop messing with him," Ms. Anne chided her husband, swatting at his arm. Tim dropped the grave façade and smiled.
"I'm just messing, kid."
Eddie broke into a nervous laugh, waiting for his stomach to crawl back up out of the pit into which it just plummeted.
"Album and cassette? I'll throw in the Pink Floyd for free."
"Y-yeah," Eddie breathed, a little dazed as his glittering brown eyes gazed back at the copies. "Yeah," he repeated with enthusiasm and the biggest smile lighting up his face.
Ms. Anne was already bagging them up. He gave Tim the cash, pocketed the change, took the bag from Ms. Anne and headed for his van, yelling back, "You guys are THE BEST" accompanied by the tinkling of the doorbell.
"Happy listening, Eddie!" Ms. Anne called back to him then giggled to her husband. "His enthusiasm is so infectious." Tim mhmm'd with an amused grin. He pressed a quick kiss to her forehead and grabbed the stack to put on the latest release display:

Thoughts on Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd-
Lana Del Rey has done it again.
And she came back better than ever one year after releasing “Blue Banisters” with the announcement of her new album “Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd”- that will be released on March 10th and will have a total of 16 tracks.
Most of the titles of the tracks are still unknown, but so far, we have:
- Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd
- Rockefeller
- The Grants
- Fingertips
- American Whore (said to be Jack Antonoff,s favorite song he has ever done with Lana)
-A&W
- Sweet
So far, we have only heard the title track. And I have lots of things to say.
The way Lana used the tunnel under ocean blvd as a way to, once again, represent the barriers of her relationships absolutely amazed me.
Bringing light to something that has been long forgotten, she asks listeners not to forget about her, as well.
The beauty, the walls, the metaphor of a physical barrier to reach her truest love: Lana makes sure to say she has been hurt by arms that were supposed to make her feel safe (as in cinnamon girl’s “if you hold me without hurting me, you’ll be the first who ever did”) but still chooses love over peace (as in the line “love me until I love myself”).
The tunnel and Lana become one when she sings “man made beauty sealed up by two man made walls”. Her love, life and pain are the same as those of beautiful architecture.
Everything is forgotten- but she prays she won’t. And she won’t.

Caribbean Blue by Kohlhase & Kopp- A Treasure Trove of Aromatic Pipe Tobaccos
Kohlhase & Kopp, the German blenders renowned for their exquisite pipe tobaccos, have unveiled a captivating new line: Caribbean Blue. Inspired by the scents and flavors of the West Indies, this series pays homage to famous (and infamous) pirates and privateers. Let's delve into the intriguing blends:
Drake: Named after Sir Francis Drake, the daring adventurer who captured galleons along the Spanish Main and conducted the third-ever circumnavigation of the Earth. His blend combines rich Virginias, Black and Brown Cavendish, with delightful toppings of pineapple, banana, and Madagascar vanilla.
Wynne: Emmanuel Wynne, the French pirate, flew the Jolly Roger and plundered English ships off the Carolina coast. His mixture features Virginias, Dark-Fired Kentucky, and Black Cavendish, topped with honey, vanilla, and goji berry for a smooth and satisfying smoke.
Bellamy ("Black Sam"): Despite his brief career, Bellamy was among the most well-known pirates of his day. His blend, rich and flavorful, pays tribute to this Devonshire-born pirate. It includes a mix of Virginias, Dark-Fired Kentucky, and Black Cavendish, creating a slow-burning rough cut topped with honey, vanilla, and goji berry.
The Caribbean Blue tins, as blue as the sea itself, hold individually flavored blends, some comprising up to 11 different raw tobaccos. Each puff promises a voyage into the exotic and aromatic world of the Caribbean. So, set sail with your pipe and explore these treasures!
