You guys remember Fairly OddParents and how they introduced Chole? That little blond girl who now shared Cosmo and Wanda? I’m a part of the older generation who while doesn’t like how they trashed Timmy’s character to such a degree does think Chloe is a cute kid.

My idea was that instead of what they did, Timmy is now a teen who just got next door neighbours with a kid he has to babysit. Chloe isn’t a bad kid per say but she’s definitely chaotic and things tend to spiral around her.

Then it shifts to Chole who think she’s cursed to make everything worse but still tries to be a good person. She gets Cosmo and Wanda because of how bad things get for her and how her parents are either busy or tell her to keep trying without actually helping her.

She’s legitimately excited for Cosmo and Wanda to help her but almost loses them her first wish because she wanted to magically fix world hunger and it almost got them caught.

The episode continues with Timmy getting annoyed with Chloe’s antics and Chloe getting annoyed with Timmy’s cynicism. When Chole accidentally created a wish that results in a giant robot trying to destroy the city she feels hopeless but Timmy walks up to her and says “First time a wish created a city destroying robot?” She looks at him confused and he just smirks before showing her how to stop it. Occasionally hinting at stuff she should wish for to help. In the end they stop the robot and provide a convincing cover story for the town. Cosmo and Wanda hug Timmy in a reunion.

Jorgen still shows up mad but Timmy points out that he was no better back then and look at how he turned out. Literally saving the world! Even when it wasn’t always his fault! Jorgen tries to erase Timmy’s memories but can’t seem able to and Timmy keeps a tight lip as to why.

He says that Chloe’s a good kid and deserves Cosmo and Wanda who just needs help solving her problems and Jorgen’s like “Fine! She’s your problem then!” And makes a new Fairly OddParent older sibling mentorship program so that kids with fairies quit almost ending cities and the world.

The series goes into a lot of the old episodes and Chole and Timmy have a younger sister older brother dynamic.

A good measure of rewriting S5 is knowing that if Astruc would call it heretical.

Short version is that in Subjugation Pt.1 Andre is given the Bee (King Bee is his name unless I think of something better). He has a flying chariot-hive thing as his Amok and he takes Chole into the sky to find the Heroes. During the fight the chariot is damaged and the miraculous and Chole fall out of the sky in opposite directions. Monarch tells him to grab the miraculous, that Chat will prevent Chole from hitting the pavement.

Andre does not listen to him and goes to save Chole himself causing Ladybug to grab the miraculous and get Vesperia to join the fight. The Omen Box ambushes Vesperia near the end of the fight and takes off with it causing Andre and Chole to see Zoé. Andre refuses to even lift a finger for Monarch after he realizes that he's endangering BOTH of his daughters. He willingly gives Chole and Zoé the Akuma and Amok to be purified.

After everything is wrapped up Chole asks Andre why he saved her. After all she's done why does she deserve to be saved. Andre replies simply "I love you, that why." Chole breaks down wondering why can't Audrey say that. Why does Zoé care for her like they actually sisters, why does her dad care after everything she did, why do the heroes risk so much to save her after she betrayed them.

The episode ends with Chole making a promise to herself. To be better than Audrey and that starts with actually getting to know Zoé.

Do wonder when it comes out about Mack being the baby daddy.

What does that mean for Cain and Moira?

I mean Cain already has a sore head over several things like Caleb, Chas, and other thinigs. He’s Cain, he’s always in a sour mood.

So I can’t see him taking things to kindly to the news that Mack did the dirty on Charity.

Though probably the only thing keeping Cain from killing Mack or at least giving him a good beating is Moira.

I do think Moira will still give Mack hell for doing something so stupid and horrible to Charity. Moira hopefully won’t get all judgemental against her brother, since Moira is in no positon to be throwing any stones considering she’s cheated multiple times.

Mack will probably either move in with Cain and Moira again or crash with someone.

I hope they don’t pair him up with Chole, that’s all kinds of wrong of a relationship. Plus I hate when shows will pair people up just because they had a child together and try to force a relationship. Especially when the people in question have no kinds of chemistry, don’t work personality wise, and are just pointless together. And the only reason they are together is because they have a kid together because of some drunken night of stupid sex.

Also hope that Charity and him don’t try to make it work. She deserves better than what he’s offering.

Professor what's his face Fenugreek (can't remember his name) is a dove. Mainly because doves are just white pigeons. He thinks he's better than the peasant pigeons when he's one too!!

The Search For Marinette Dupain-Cheng

This is my take on my prompt The Search For Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

You know, I always wondered about Marinette taking care of Akumas while overseas. If she takes too long, she’ll scare her loved ones half to death. Can’t rush too much or else she risks losing her miraculous because of it. Since no one is aware of her identity, she doesn’t have anyone to cover for her.  Friends who are unaware of the truth will cover her for so long before they have to fess up.

In salt fics, the class usually doesn’t care where Marinette is on Gotham trips. Here, they give a shit.

In which Lila messes with some signs and Marinette gets lost when she comes back late (via Kaalki) after dealing with an Akuma attack in France.

The two week school field trip in Tokyo was supposed to be an enjoyable experience. There’s booked reservations at classy restaurants, a fancy hotel with a big pool, shows, and tours throughout Tokyo. Lila is most looking forward to the fashion expo. If she doesn’t do something soon, it looks like she’ll miss out on that too. Marinette been missing for two days and Lila is already sick of it. 

All because she miscalculated in a spur of the moment plan.

“Marinetteeee! Where are you,” shouts a crying Alya. The girl spots a few tourists and shoves a flier in their faces. Nino joins in with his own fliers. “Have you seen my friend Marinette Dupain-Cheng? Cutest French girl you’ve ever seen with a heart of gold. So kind she’d innocently help a stranger, unaware they’re a bad guy.” The tourists each give a half hearted ‘no’ before speed walking away.

“Walk faster Lila! Marinette can be anywhere.”

Lila puts on a concerned mask. “Of course.”

All this time wasted just because she moved some signs. 

She hadn’t meant for Marinette to go missing. Only to buy some time so she can guilt trip Adrien to be her partner for the fashion expo.

The day before, the class went to a big nature park. It’s notable for its many trails. The deeper you went into the park, the denser the trees are. They all partnered up and to her dismay she got Nathaniel instead of Adrien. The best thing about the artist is that he gets so into drawing the sights he doesn’t notice when she wanders off. It gave her more time to plot how to switch partners with the least amount of fuss.

During one of her secret plotting sessions, she heard a very loud conversation farther down the trail she’s on. Rose shouts for Marinette to not split up, and Marinette screams back a blatant lie about wanting to see a moose in the Relaxation Trial. Also to not expect her for forty minutes. Total hypocrite this girl is. ‘We can only be friends if you stop lying.’ Sure, and it’s okay for only Marinette to lie. Everyone else who does so is bad. Can’t even tell Rose you honestly want to ditch her.

When Lila noticed the Relaxation Trail sign nearby, an idea formed in her head. She ducked into a bush to hide. When Marinette ran into the trail and her map fell out of her bag Lila burst into action. 

It took a little adjustment to the multiple sign post. It wasn’t too hard as the signs on the pole were already a little loose. Just needed to switch the sign that led back to the meetup with the Reflection Trial sign. According to the map, the Reflection one is a winding trial leading to a dead end. Marinette would be forced to walk all the back as the park employees told them it’s easy to get lost if you go off the trial. Aside from putting some sticks on the map, it was left mostly alone as she wanted her rival to use it to get back to base. She may not have liked Marinette, but she didn’t want anything horrible to happen to her.

By the time it got dark, Marinette still hadn’t gotten back to the meetup point. Forty minutes had already flown by. Lila hadn’t noticed as she was trying to convince Adrien to switch partners and tell everyone it was his idea. If Marinette was here the noisy girl would have interfered. 

Rose’s cry of alarm got the others to find out Marinette was missing. The goodie two shoes wasn’t answering Rose’s calls. A quick check near the Relaxation Trial sign revealed Marinette’s map had flown into a bush.

The field trip went downhill from there. 

The police were called. Afterwards, it’s discovered the cameras in that area were down much to Lila’s relief. Even though she feels a bit responsible, she’s not admitting to anything. Even if she did confess, it’s not like it’ll help the police. Doing so will get her in huge trouble and gain scrutiny in her actions from then on. How will telling what she did help find Marinette? It’d be for nothing.

When it comes down to it, Lila’s self preservation is above Marinette’s well being.

Some good fun will keep her mind from unpleasant things. Too bad no one besides Lila is interested in the scheduled events. This is a vacation, so going to a few events is a must. The class just want to spend time searching for Marinette. The transfer student wouldn’t have minded hanging up missing posters or spreading the word. This class takes it to another level.

Every waking moment is spent looking for Marinette. Breaks become a treasured time. They walk many miles each day. Max posts missing posters in Japanese forums. Alya bothers the police for updates. Adrien even got Chole (who stayed in Paris) to pull some strings to get more attention in the local news.

Because of Marinette’s disappearance, they have to stay in groups of at least three. No exceptions. So if Lila wants to do anything, she needs to convince any group she’s in to go with her.

It’s more challenging than expected.

Day 5

"Hey guys, why don’t we take our break inside the museum we were supposed to go to? It has air conditioning and we can look at some stuff for a bit while we’re sitting down.”

“Sorry Lila, I’m not in the mood to admire art.”

“I agree with Nathaniel. Just doesn’t feel right.”

Day 8

“Let’s go on the sightseeing tour. We can look for Marinette while we’re on it.”

“No thanks.”

“Nah, a taxi is better as we can choose where to drive.”

Day 10

“.....my leg injury is acting up. It’s okay to leave me here. I don’t mind.”

“No way Lila. We’re not leaving you alone on a bench outside Universal Studios. What if we lose you too?”

“.............”

Day 11

Lila has had it with these people. Reservations and events have been canceled. Solemn, awkward moping. Refusal to do anything but looking for Marinette. The only event left is the one she’s been most looking forward to: the fashion expo. Through some maneuvering and sneakiness, no one remembered to cancel the expo tickets.

There’s no way in hell she wants to miss this event: a lecture by Edna Mode herself. There’s rumors circling the fashion industry the famous designer is going to explore a new clothing line. Along with finding a muse for it.

The previous class activities can be let go without much struggle. Not this one, though. This could be the golden ticket to a very prestigious job. Even more than being a Gabriel model.

There’s a chance things might go right this time. The group is filled by pushovers Adrien, Rose, and Juleka. As long as she stays firm, they’ll go along with her plan.

With the directions in mind, Lila manages to slyly maneuver the group to walk outside Tokyo Big Sight. The sight of the Edna Mode banners hanging outside the arena fills her with excitement.

Lila coughs for their attention. “Guys, it’s time for our lunch break. We need the energy to keep this up.”

Rose reluctantly says, “Oh you’re right Lila. Can you pass out our lunches please?” 

“Sure thing.” She reaches into the bag and whoops. There’s conveniently no lunch bags in there. “Oh no guys, there’s only water bottles in here.”

“It’s okay Lila, we can buy some food nearby.” Rose digs out her phone. “Hmm... I think there’s a cheap fast food place nearby.”

“There’s no need to look far. We can just go into the expo. They have to have some food near the entrance.”

There’s silence at her words.

Juleka narrows her eyes. “Why do I feel you just want to go to the expo?”

Lila is surprised Juleka of all people is calling her out. “No, no. It’s just, why walk more when there’s food right here.”

“Lila, do you not care about finding Marinette?,” a sad Rose asks.

“How could you say that? Of course I do! We worked so hard and we deserve a break. Marinette would understand.”

Rose snaps. “Understand? Every minute counts! We might never see Marinette ever again. She could be injured and alone, kidnapped, or worse! If one of us was missing, she wouldn’t give up.”

The fire in Rose’s eyes startles Lila. Never thought she’d see the bubbly girl break her happy persona. 

“No one said anything about giving up. Besides, the police are looking-”

“That doesn’t mean we should sit by and do nothing.” Rose tears up. “It’s my fault Marinette is gone. If I didn’t let her run off on her own, she would still be here.”

Juleka gives a comforting hug to Rose. 

Adrien speaks up. “I know you don’t like Marinette, but I never thought you would sink so low. It’s one thing if you’re not interested in helping. It’s another to actively interfere in something our friends care about.”

“I d-d-o care. We can pick up search after we eat.” It’s not like Lila wanted to prevent them from searching for Marinette. Ms. Bustier has forbidden anyone from being on their own. So she needed someone to be with her in order to do something. 

Lila spent so much time reassuring them, they missed the lecture.

“---Breaking News! A French teenager stopped a missile launch by terrorists. Marinette Dupain-Cheng went missing during her class’ field trip. Miraculously, she disabled their base of operations, rescued a Princess, fought against pirates, escaped on the back of a deer, got their leader to surrender to the authorities-”

“That’s our every day Ladybug.” Alya hugs the TV with tears of joy. “Obviously she’d save the day while missing.” The reporter actually hissed when a stranger tried to tell her to stop hogging the TV. No one attempted removing her after that.

Since Ms. Bustier is currently with the police to bring Marinette back, there’s no one to reign in the partying classmates. Alix somehow convinced the hotel to give them a big complementary celebration cake. 

The only person not celebrating is an angry Lila. Glaring at her phone, the headlines riles her up every time she sees it.

To save you a google search, this park mentioned in this fic is made up. It’s based on a bunch nature parks I’ve been to before. Tokyo does have parks and nature trials, though. In case you missed it, an attack happened in the late afternoon and Marinette got back at night (when it got dark) in Japan Standard Time. Keep in mind there is a 8 hour difference between these countries.

With this completed, I can finish chapter two of Dupont’s Worst Nightmare. :)

I like deckerstar but I hated rory too she was the main problem of the season. I was she was his sister instead that would have been better and they should have focused on Lucifer and chole being a family with trixie. Also Lucifer being in hell was not great. He deserves to remain on earth being happy. And the whole chole growing old was werid.

Yeah :/ I think the general consensus in some circles is that Rory kind of majorly sucked. I almost would have preferred her to be Michael's kid so we could finally have some closure for the whole "Michael is evil" plotline we had going on, and also avoid the whole "Lucifer is a father" thing but we did not get that! 🙃 Personally, I think those plotlines would have been more engaging than "teen throws temper tantrum, permanently condemns herself and her parents to a lifetime of unhappiness," however I did not write this season.

16. The Bee Miraculous - Ladybug goes to talk to Chloe

Marinette glanced at her phone when it buzzed again, for the fourth time in the last five minutes. Again, it showed ‘Adrien’ as being the one to contact her. Marinette let out a groan, she did not want to hear another ‘take the high road, Marinette’ speech. She needed space from everyone and Adrien still can't seem to take the hint. Marinette finished the row of stitching she was working before finally picking up her phone. 

A: Marinette you really need to talk to our friends 

    This isn’t like you

    What happened to our agreement?

    You’re our everyday ladybug, you need to act like it 

Marinette grabbed a nearby pillow and screamed into it. Tikki floated up and put a paw on her forehead in comfort. Marinette smiled at her in thanks and hugged the pillow to her chest. Sighing she picked up her phone again reading the text and thinking over what to say. 

M: Adrien, I need some space, this is only temporary but I NEED space

    The more you try to talk to me the longer this will take

Marinette deleted the messages, she really didn’t want to deal with Adrien but knew if she didn’t reply he would just keep messaging her. 

M: I appreciate the concern but I just need space

     This is only temporary

     Things will change soon, I just need to get myself in order

Marinette nodded, this would satisfy him and appeal to his standards he seemed to be holding Marinette to. She turned off her phone, not waiting for a reply and plugged it in for the night. 

Next was the not fun part, after stuffing her bed to make it look like she was sleeping, Marinette jumped to her balcony and said the transformation words and flung herself into the night. It was time to talk to Chloe. 

After reaching the Grande Paris Hotel, Ladybug dropped on Chloe’s balcony and knocked on the sliding door. She heard something drop on the floor before the pounding of feet reached Ladybug at the door. Chloe threw back the curtain holding a fireplace poker, surprise crossed her face before she tossed aside the makeshift weapon and opened the door.

“Ladybug! What brings you so late, is it an akuma?” Chole asked. 

“No, there is no akuma I came to talk to you.” 

“Oh, well of course. Did you come by to give me the Bee miraculous full time?” Chole held out her hand as if waiting for Ladybug to give her the box.

“It is related to that but no I’m not giving you the Bee full time. I'm here because I cannot give you the Bee miraculous again.”

Chloe looked offended and stomped her foot before throwing a very Chloe temper tantrum. 

“Why not? I'm an excellent Queen Bee, and the best hero on the team! I-”

“This is the reason why,” Ladybug interrupted. Chloe shut her mouth quickly. 

“Chloe, you are not a team player, you undermine the heroes I pick and show only respect to me. That’s not what I need in a team mate, and yeah, I had hoped that you would improve yourself when you got the miraculous but I shouldn’t have to rely on a reward system to get you to do the bare minimum as a person.” Chloe opened her mouth to speak once more but Ladybug wasn’t done.

“I should have never given you the Bee miraculous in the first place. You are not a hero in your everyday life. You still treat people like servants, you dismiss any effort of kindness to you, you don't give gratitude to people who deserve it, and you still act like everything is meant for you and that you are entitled to it. That is not the attitude of a hero.” 

Ladybug looked hard at Chloe and Chloe was gobsmacked that she was being talked to like this. The realization hit Chloe, everything Ladybug just said was true and for the first time Chloe felt ashamed of herself. 

“I’m… sorry, Ladybug.” 

Ladybug sighed before she spoke again. “I can never give you a miraculous again. I do hope that you improve yourself to be a better person not for a reward but to just be a better human.” Chloe nodded and Ladybug was satisfied that Chloe was finally seeing the error of her ways even if it was a little too late. 

“Good night, Chloe I must be off.” Ladybug threw out her yo-yo and with a final salute she disappeared into the night. Chloe closed the door and flopped on her bed. She had a lot to think about.

If Your Done With Embarrassing Me On Your Own Won't You Go Ahead and Tell Them

Oh my god y'all have just blown me away. I was not expect so much positive feed back. I was screaming so much I could not Believe how much you guys liked that. And so many people are asking to be tagged in the next part thank you guys so much. Also can I just say moving from Google Docs to Tumblr was a bitch to do and I hated it. But y'all inspired me so much that I decided to just go ahead and type it up on tumblr and move it to Google Docs afterwards.

To say Marinette was busy would be an understatement. Between working with Luka and Uncle Jagged producing her album as Neon Titanium and her friends insisting that they help heal her brokenheart she felt like she was caught in a whirl wind. But it was nice she had fun. Luka and Uncle Jagged knew how to turn the hard work of producing music into a fun experience while still being efficient. And her friends they had her laughing harder than she laughed in while and smiling brighter than their resident sunshine child. They did everything they could think off.

She went shopping with Chloe and Kagami. She watched horror movies with Alix, Nathaniel, and Adrien. Marc and Luka let her rant to them which turned into a crying session which then turned into a meditation session. And on top of that her and Peter hung out as well. Whether they just worked in silence together on their respective projects or they were pranking Uncle Tony, kwami did she have fun renaming the protocols on the Iron Man suit. Soon Peter easily fit his way into her group of friends abd he fit in perfectly. Everyone got along with him.

But he wasn't the last to join their ragtag group. Everyone was shocked when Felix Graham De Vanily came to their group offering Marinette condolences on her lost engagement. He was sincere and courteous so of course no one was surprised when Marinette invited him to join in the currently planned game of dodgeball, except maybe Felix himself. But nonetheless he joined in the competition and found himself hanging out with the rest of the group as well. Soon his cold off-standish demeanor was traded for sly smirks and slick humor that nobody caught at first except Marinette and Peter who would laugh openly at his responses.

Soon enough Felix was a part of the group and felt comfortable letting his guard down. It help that they didn't treat him as the Graham De Vanily heir or Adrien's asshole cousin. They treat him like Felix, the boy who while very proper cried watching Big Hero 6. Also the boy who slam dunked on Adrien without breaking a sweat. Yet he still is the master of backhanded compliments and insulting people with a smile and having them thank him. He could truly be himself and he was thankful.

And while he easily was getting along with everyone, anyone with easy could see he had a soft spot for Peter and Marinette in general. It was in the way his face would soften when looking at them. Or the way he would smile when Marinette would get excited over something. Or the way he always paid attention to Peter when he was geeking out. It was the way he softly teased them over their height, Marinette being the shortest of the group and Peter only being taller than Marinette and Alix. And everyone knew Marinette's heart was still healing, so it came no surprise when Felix and Peter started dating. And while everyone was happy for them no one, but Marinette herself missed the looks of longing both boys would send towards her.

Believe it or not Felix was not the most surprising addition to their friend group. No the last addition came soon after Marinette formally did an interview after too much press took notice of Damian Wayne's fiancee being seen for the first time in almost a year, in New York of all places.

She remembered Uncle Tony setting up the interview with someone he trusted. She was glad that this was only an interview as Damian Wayne's (ex) fiancee and not MDC or Neon Titanium. She can only imagine how big a deal it will be when she reveals. But that was future Marinette's problem. Present Marinette had to focus on what to say without giving too much details because no matter how much he deserved it, she didn't want to throw Damian to wolves like that. She settled on saying that she was going through some things and no longer was content in Gotham. She claimed that she decided it was in her best interest to leave, but she didn't want to make a big deal about which is why nothing had been said until now.

The interview went well and everyone accepted her answers. It was released about a month after she left Damian and two weeks since Peter and Felix started dating. She still got news alerts for Gotham so she was waiting with baited breath for her interview to reach the Gotham, but it never seemed to. No announcements from WE or the Wayne family in general. She couldn't say it didn't hurt that no one even realized she was gone yet. But what hurt more was when 2 weeks after her interview she got an alert from Gotham Gazette saying the Damian claimed they set a date for their wedding. She cried that day. How could he not even notice she was gone? Was he so used to lying about her and their relationship that he didn't even give a second thought to what he was saying any more? And while she despaired, she relished in the fact that her friends did not let her be alone. Her face was buried in Peter's neck, she was sat on Felix's lap, Chole was threading her fingers through her hair, her feet laid over Peter legs and settled on Marc's, Adrien sat on the floor in front of Felix a hand rest on her back and everyone gathered around as close as possible trying to physically reassure her. Luka was even humming softly. She appreciated all the love amd support she had and soon she was feeling much better. Eventually it turned into a puppy pile napping session and if she ended up curled up between Peter and Felix? Eh, nobody said anything.

It was these series of events that led to their newest and by far strangest addition to their friend group. Here it was, two days after Damian's announcement and here in front of her stands no other than Jonathan Kent, Damian's best friend.

"Hey, Mari. It's been a while, huh?" She could admit Jon looked nervous. The way he wouldn't meet her eyes and how his hand was rubbing his neck. But him bring nervous did nothing to calm her nerves about why he was even here.

Marinette took a deep breath and drew as much of her inner Ladybug as she could. "Why are you here, Jonathan?"

Jon flinched at how she used his full name. "I'm so sorry, Nette. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. I'm sorry I didn't push harder. You were my friend too. I should have checked on you. Damian was such a good liar, I never knew. I should have known but I didn't and that doesn't excuse the fact that I wasn't there for you." Jon took a deep breath and finally met her eyes before speaking again. "But I'm going to do better, Nette. Whatever you need just say the word. Even if it means leaving. When we saw your interview Dad told Uncle Bruce to make sure his family was in order especially his youngest. He didn't give any details and Uncle Bruce got offended. I guess he did end up talking to Damian, but Damian doubled down on his lies and his family is believing him. But I know better because I saw what you said and I know even that wasn't the whole truth. So I want you to know I'm on your side."

Marinette was silent for a minute she study him and his words. The way she was looking at him made Jon feel like his whole soul was being judged, but he didn't dare look away. He needed her to know he meant it and that he was truly sorry for not being for. After a minute that felt like hours Marinette smiled softly at him. "I could always appreciate a hug from a friend." She held her arm open and Jon surged forward and hugged her tightly lifting her off the ground.

Marinette giggled a bit before he set her down. "Thanks, Jon for being here for me. I know Damian is you best friend-"

"He lost that right when he decided to lie to me repeatedly for his own benefit." Jon looked uncharacteristically upset at the fact.

"Well if you're in need of some more good friends, I know a group you should meet. Come on, we're about to have a pool day. I'm sure I have some swim trunks I've designed that you could probably fit. "

After they changed intl their respective swimwear, Mari led Jon to her Uncle Tony's pool where the rest of her friends were already waiting. "Hey guys! I'd like you to meet my friend Jon. He's in need of some good company."

Those who recognized Jon looked up surprised before see his nervous fidgeting and hearing Marinette's last sentence before nodding in understand. It was Peter who spoke up first. "Well any friend of Mari's is welcome with us. Come on we were about to play chicken fight!" And just like that their pool party was in swing. The played a couple pool games and had some snacks before Marinette decided to play some music. Soon a familiar tune was playing over the speakers.

When Rome's in ruins

It was Chole who started singing along first sitting laying on one of the pool chairs. In between Alix and Kagami.

Soon Alix was singing the next part as Chloe finished the first part.

Luka was quick to pick up the chorus while trying to get everyone to join in with him.

While everyone was distracted with singing Luka had Adrien and Jon sneak with him behind the girls in the pool chair. Each of them grabbed one and threw them in the water. Luka grabbed Kagami, Adrien grabbed Chloe and Jon grabbed Alix.

As everyone else's singing tapered off into laughing, Marinette picked up the next part solo as she walked to the diving board and climbed up.

She ended her singing with a cannonball into the pool. Peter picked it up from his place in Felix's arms.

We will teach you how to make boys next door out of assholes

He sung his verse looking at Felix the whole time, who scoffed jokingly when Peter winked at him, but gave a him a kiss after he was done singing. Marc and Nathaniel picked up where he left off dueting together.

Soon everyone was singing along again to the chorus playing around splashing each other.

Soon everybody had calmed down slightly singing a little quieter. Marinette her self was floating on her back towards the center of the pool. Smiling at all her support around her.

As the song ended Jon was the first to speak. "What the fuck is in the water in Paris that makes y'all so talented?"

Peter laughed as he easily agreed, "That's what I said!"

Adrien chuckled at the Americans in their group antics. "To be fair, Felix is from London and Kagami is from Japan."

"Still! That is crazy. And Marinette I never knew you could sing like that!" Jon looked over towards the bluenette, his eyes softening at her.

Marinette giggled. "Neither did the rest of the world until Neon Titanium featured in Luka's last single."

"What?!" Jon exclaimed. "You're Neon Titanium?! I loved that song! Nette you're even more amazing than I thought."

Luka threw his hand up saying "Here, here." Making Marinette blush as all her friends joined in on complimenting her.

About a 3 weeks later, Marinette found herself working on a dress for her debut as Neon Titanium which uncle Tony insisted she do at a gala he's throwing. Which she suspects he's throwing just for her to debut because there was absolutely no gala planned before.

That was what she was doing when Jon, Felix, and Peter found her. It didn't take long for Jon to fit in with group. And with how often he stayed with them in New York instead of going back to Metropolis, no one was surprised when he started dating Peter and Felix. Marinette was happy for them even though it seemed like everyone was in happy relationships but her. But she knew she still had some things to work out before returning to the dating scene.

As they approached Marinette paused her sketching to look at her friends. "What's up guys? You needed something?"

The 3 boys looked at each other before Peter spoke up. "Yeah, actually. We wanted to tell you something." He rubbed the back of his neck before letting out a sigh. "We like you Marinette. A lot. And we would love for you to date us."

Marinette could feel the rejection on her tongue, but before she could say a word Jon cut her off.

"Let us finish first Nette. Please. After we're done you can tell us to never bother you again, but just let us get this out." Jon pleaded at her. Marinette just nodded and let them continue.

"We all like you a lot," Felix started his words very sincere. "But we all know that your still healing. We only told you because we thought it would be fair for you to know."

It almost seemed as they had planned and rehearsed for this because Peter effortlessly picked up after Felix. "We're not trying to guilt you into dating us because at the end of the day it is still you decision. And we know it may be some time before your ready to even consider dating us, but we're willing to wait."

Jon grabbed her hands as he prepared to finish them out. "We just want you to know how amazing we think you are. We'll be beyond lucky if you decide to date us when you're ready to make that choice. And until you are we're still your friends and we'll continue helping you heal and be better how ever you want us to. And if you decide you don't see us that way we'll still be some of your closest friends because having you in our lives is a blessing Nette."

Soon they all seemed to be holding one of her hands as they finished what they had to say. Marinette had silent tears streaming down her face, but the big smile she had eased away their worries. She pulled them into a tight hug for a moment before pulling back.

"You guys are the absolute best friends a girl can have." She smiled at them gratefully. "You're right that I'm not ready yet, but when I am, you guys will be the first people I consider dating. Promise. Now do you guys wanna see the designs I'm considering for my reveal?"

As the boys gathered around Marinette for her to show them her sketchbook she thought to herself with a smile.

I might not be quite okay yet, but with all the great people I have on my side, I know I will be soon.

-Simply a character that was brought in to competely replace Chloe. Honestly? It shouldn’t really be a BIG surprise that I don’t like Chloe as a character at this point. However, even though I am starting to feel sorry for Chloe and her crushed development/redemption, I’m still happy that she doesn’t have the bee miraculous anymore. 

To be honest, I WANTED Chloe to get better, I WANTED a Chole redemption, I DO feel sorry for her (even if it is to a degree), I WANTED her to grow and stop being mean and disrespectful to people. However, if she won’t, then I really do feel like it’s just best if she doesn’t have the bee miraculous (or any other miraculous) ever again until she redeems (or at least reforms) herself, but I know that’s not going to happen anytime soon. Disagree if you want, but I just don’t think Chloe deserves a miraculous. Not now and not even before. Miraculous should be owned and given to people who are responsible and mature enough to handle that responsibility. 

-Simply just “a nicer Chloe”. I’m already happy that she didn’t turn out to be Chloe’s twin sister or anything like that, but it still just seems like she’s a nicer Chloe. I hope for more character depth from Zoe and hope that she has character development outside of being “a sweet Chloe Bourgeois”, but knowing the writers/creators/Thomas, I’m really starting to doubt that. However, that’s what I hope. 

-A Sabrina 2.0. Seriously, Zoe SERIOUSLY looks like a blonde Sabrina Raincomprix (without the big nose). TBH, I expect something like this to come from these guys at this point. I could ask why didn’t they just use Sabrina herself to be the next holder of the bee miraculous? This could of been Sabrina’s big break, her turn around, her REDEMPTION, her GROWTH, her chance to shine and even get development to even break away from Chloe, or be part of Chloe’s redemption WITHOUT being outshined by her! 

But...what’s the point in asking or thinking about that possibility? Because I already know that’s not going to happen anytime soon😔 This show is NOT good with development nor redemptions. It’s not even that. The episodes are suposed to be watched in any order, so of course development and redemption is irrelevant in this series. 

I basically just realized that at this point 🤷‍♀️ I seriously think Sabrina as the bee would of been SO interesting to cover! But alas. I still hope that Zoe isn’t just “a reedemed Sabrina Raincomprix”, but all I can do is hope...

All in all, I think Zoe brings something promising to the table, but I still wouldn’t get me hopes up. After all, at the end of the day, despite me still being a big fan of Miraculous Ladybug, this show is STILL just that: A show with MANY flaws that probably won’t fix anytime soon :/
