Lavande In Love (eau de toilette) Bastide
Aromatic Fougère
A crisp and distinct scent, where rapturous notes of French lavender and French frozen lime blossom into clary sage and rosemary, with a chance hint of sea salt. A love note to the bastide’s sunlit lavender fields, bottled.
As a balmy, summer day comes to a close, the sunset’s rays set the bastide aglow from within. Two slow, calm heartbeats provide the peaceful soundtrack for barefoot exploring, while the light Provencal wind leads the wanderers closer together. Lavender dances on the walls as their quest concludes—their shadows serenaded by a faster, collective pulse. As evening grows nearer, they surrender to the lavender’s energy and aroma—the perfect tonic for bliss without end.
Intense and distinct, this crisp fragrance evokes the bastide’s lavender fields bathed in sunlight. A bright burst of French frozen lime blossoms into earthy French lavender, with woodsy notes of clary sage and rosemary. An unexpected hint of sea salt evokes the nearby Mediterranean Sea and its healing waters.
Top notes: Lime, Lavender, Sea salt Heart notes: Clary sage, Cypress, Rosemary Base notes: White birch, Tonka bean

Persolaise Masterclass – Episode 10 – Ingredients – Osmanthus & Clary Sage
For the final episode of the current series of our Masterclasses we looked at osmanthus and clary sage.
For the final episode of our current Masterclass series on ingredients we travelled to China and France to discuss osmanthus and clary sage. I was joined once again by Remi Pulverail for a conversation which addressed the curious way in which osmanthus is mixed with salt in order to give it the desired scent profile, as well as the similarities between lavender and clary sage, and the thorny…

The scentbird scent I decided on had such rave reviews as "It isn't flirty/fruity/feminine enough for me, I smell like a lumberjack"
and "utterly foul. Smells like mold and powder"
and "Something dead fish about it"
.... there were also plenty good reviews. But now I HAVE to try it

Woody Mood (eau de parfum) Olfactive Studio Nose: Bertrand Duchaufour
Woods
Bewitching and intense, Woody Mood features strong tones that echo the immensity of the giant sequoias.
One approaches this fragrance the same way the mysterious heroine does the forest. A clearing, a hypnotic light that summons curiosity: bright notes of bergamot and ginger lead the way, then an accord of sequoia, black tea, incense, and Jatamansi (Himalayan spikenard) settles in, followed by the final enchanting notes of styrax, leather, and patchouli.

What's your favourite colour, and what made you fall in love with that colour? 🌻
green has been my favorite color since i was a small child, and truth be told i have no idea how it became my favorite! it probably had to do with the fact i was kid and really only knew my primaries and secondaries so early on 😅
little over ten years ago teal became my favorite color as it had that surge in popularity during the early 2010s. but over the last few years i’ve fallen back in love with more earthy shades of green because of how easy on the eyes they are and how good they look in most any room or piece of art.
