I didn't watch the Event™️ yesterday. I didn't check the news, refused to engage with any of it, determined not to inadvertently give it ratings.

But I did keep up to date with the arrests. The arrests of anti-monarchy protesters. Because my country passed a law that allowed any protests during the Event™️, peaceful or otherwise, to be forcefully shut down. For no reason other than "being a nuisance".

Here are just some of the reasons protesters were arrested:

- buying coffee, before the protest had even begun.

- standing near a statue of Charles I, who was executed by republicans.

- handing out r*pe alarms to women at 2am that morning who were on a night out. The reason being "we thought they would use the alarms to attempt to interrupt the procession".

- holding a megaphone in a park, because "loud noises may disturb the royal horses". Ignoring the fact that there were literal drummers and brass players on horseback leading the procession.

So if you think for one second that putting politics aside to observe the Event™️ is an actual thing, think again, think long and fucking hard. We are losing our right to protest. It'll start with events like these, and then the Tories will find reasons to implement it the rest of the time.

And let's not forget that King Man Baby himself fought to get the protest law put through as soon as possible. Politically neutral my fucking arse.

Fuck this joke of an island. Fuck anyone who votes Tory. Fuck anyone who gives these jewel-laden inbred colonising parasites an ounce of their respect or time. FUCK OFF.

I came to another conclusion: we were actually playing Friend Island, not Love Island.

Think about it: we know more about our BFFs than our LIs, we had a whole singing musical with the gang instead of moments with our couple that could’ve been about talking to friends/family from the outside, the whole speech at the end of the prom was more about the whole Villa than our individual LI!

i truly truly will never stop being tickled by how law's braincell count just plummets into the negatives whenever he's around luffy and kid SPECIFICALLY at the same time. like if it's one or the other he copes more or less just fine. kid's a shit-starter but he's predictable and easy (and fun) to rile up. luffy runs on baffling logic but he's fundamentally easy to get along with so long as you maintain your zen and understand that he usually doesn't MEAN to get under anybody's skin. separately they aggravate law in different ways. but when they're together kid's penchant for starting dickswinging contests (or inability to not take the bait of one) collides with luffy unhesitatingly answering with a one-up that no sane person would conceive of and what the hell is law supposed to do against THAT fuckin wombo combo. get left behind and called a bitch for it? not goddamn LIKELY!!

I just wanna be clear. I am giving Fusebox a final chance.

S3 I gave a pass because there was a surplus of disappointment in content that came out during the 'vid.

But S4? A joke. Giving us the bombshell but somehow we don't have an actual story? Or do anything worth noting? The stale characters? The wasted potential? All with teases like improved customization. Not worth my time.

But I've heard they have a new team now. And I was so OBSESSED with the game after S2. I replayed it so many times I could personally recite the dialog. I will allow one more chance. I'm more forgiving than I should be. If S5 happens, I'll play, but if it's anything like S3 or S4, I'm done. I want to fawn over pixels again instead of having yet another useless tap through app. Your move, Fusebox.
