I've been wondering, why do you use such thick black lines for your art?
I think it looks good. It's just a style I'm into.
I also used to experiment a lot more with different syles/media (see pictures above) but doing paid illustration work has created a feedback loop where I draw in a style that people want from me and then more people see it and want more work in that style. It's helped me become a lot more consistent and proficient in one way of creating art, but the downside is that I don't get to play around with different approaches quite so much as I used to.
Whumpee be caught by the enemies. Whumpee stays silent while being interrogated, but eventually breakdown explaining they can't say anything because they're team would kill them
hmmm very inch resting...perhaps if this interrogation was an actual questioning and not torture, the people who caught them end up protecting whumpee from their old team...
He lived in a terrible orphanage until he and Sonic ran away. Now he's the gunsmith and genius inventor of the gang. Don't get him started on "modern technology"! He'll ramble for ages about steam engines and other mechanical aspects. He'd never use a weapon, choosing instead to aid his friends from the sidelines
"college is the best years of your life" "college is for meeting new people and expanding your mind" wrong. college is for repeatedly learning that your foremost grievances with the world are ronald reagan's fault
We get pretty excited about the common siphonophore. What’s not to love?
We’re thrilled to be the first public aquarium in the world to culture and raise these delightful drifters. While these animals are incredibly fragile and difficult to see, they’re abundant and can be found throughout the ocean!
Siphonophores are colonies of tiny animals called “zooids”, and they play an important role in the oceanic food webs.
Thank you to our colleagues at @mbari-blog for the common siphonophore footage! Check out their website to learn more about these magnificent mysteries!
