Weird talents Cross Guild have:
Buggy can tie a bow with his tongue. Not a simple knot, no. A perfect, pretty bow. It makes for a good party trick. (He refrains from reminding people that he can detach his tongue.)
Crocodile can read upside down and backwards, in normal speed, without trouble.
Mihawk can crochet. I know that's not a weird hobby but he can also kill someone with a crochet hook, which has to count for something.

FOTH Flamigo!
There's something so funny to me about Pokemon that are basically their real life animal counterpart. I feel like Flamigo goes a step further in that even its name is basically "flamingo" lmao
Anyway, this is an example of how I post when I make a new Pokemon. I'm still deciding if this is what I'll focus more on when I actually have time to crochet. You can vote in the poll here to help me decide :D

I found something kinda neat at an antique store today...
Still new in it's cellophane packaging, a WonderArt Rick Rack Afghan Crochet Kit from 1970-something. It has it's original sale sticker ($6.88 or around $53 today) even.
The wrapping has a couple of holes in it, so I won't be using it as a display piece in my craft room as originally intended. Time to bust this sucker open and make it!

@skimble-shanks-the-railway-cat replied to your post “finished my shawl!”:
How do you get beads onto your knitting?
I used the crochet hook method, where you use a very very tiny crochet hook (i think mine is .75mm) to add beads as you go. before you knit a stitch that's supposed to be beaded, you pick it up off the lefthand needle w/ a crochet hook that already has a bead on it, slide the bead onto the stitch, and then put the stitch back onto the needle & knit it as usual. (can also do this with a stitch you just knit instead of one you're about to knit, pattern should specify)
i wildly prefer this to pre-stringing all the beads on the yarn before you start knitting, which i tried a few times for bracelets and is just really irritating to do, and even more irritating to have gotten wrong & need to break yarn and redo. have not had the patience for it since i was in middle school. there are patterns where you have to pre-string because you're e.g. putting beads in between stitches, but thus far i have avoided them.

psyduck is my favourite so I really wanted to make this around the size of an ‘actual’ psyduck (almost 2ft 7”) :0
