Everyone lies. Statistics show that people lie at least one to two times a day. Mostly they are benign lies, to save face, to avoid hurting someone’s feelings, to not have people worry about you or to keep people out of your business. I personally will lie if it’s to save a life. But lying to cheat or deceive others, to make yourself look better or get sympathy (also deception) and most especially, lying about another person, those are despicable. And it’s people who say they are not liars are the ones who are lying the most about the latter.

So tell me, which one is telling the lies?

Beware of Deceivers
If anyone comes to you, and does not bear this teaching, do not receive him into the house, and do not say to him, “Greetings!”
