Emrys Lokison was born September 18th just outside of New York City. As the Son of Loki and a Warrior from another demention he spent the first 8 years of his life living and training in Asgard with his twin sister Pyira. But after an incident involving bullies and perminate scarring Loki and Emrys mother Sera decided it would be safer for Emrys and Pyira on Earth.

By the time Emrys was thirteen years old he had become addicted to drugs and met the person who he then thought would be the love of his life. The person he thought he would be with forever. But one foolish mistake ended that, and his loves life, leaving Emrys broken and alone.

After five years of training under various influences Emrys became a master marksman and strong enough to know that he’d be able handle almost anything the world threw at him. Using his fathers glamor spell he hides the scars that he is ashamed off and went out into the world to try and loose the ghosts that haunt him.

DC Verse-

Emrys Harper was never a normal boy, he always knew it. He could always feel his "father" inside of him.

The women who gave birth to Emrys was genetic scientist, and a crazy one at that. Convinced that the Joker was the perfect man she stole the Clowns blood from a crime scene and used it to create a clone of the Joker with in her own body. But the child didn't turn out as expected.

Emrys resented his "father", resented the insanity that he had inherited, resented his mother for trying to bring it out of him. So he fought it, learned to control it, got his "mother" locked away in Arkham.

Emrys Harper was never a normal boy, he always knew it. He wasn't going to let his "Father" win.

Shadowhunter/TMI Verse-

Emrys Harper was born four hundred and seventy three years ago with the black and feathered wings on his back and a mother who hated him. He spent his childhood locked in a barn, watching humanity through the cracks in the wall. Learning what they were like, learning what their weaknesses were, learning all he could about how to kill them.

When he turned 18 his mother set fire to the barn, tried to burn the demon out of him. That only enraged him. He lashed out with every bit of magic he had, decemating the family farm.

When he woke he was surrounded by Shadowhunters, they said he was a danger. A threat. They said he was powerful and he couldn't very well argue.

It took one hundred years for his "penance" to be paid, one hundred years to be released from their prisons, and since then...he's wandered.

Emrys Harper never found a home.

Decendance Verse

Emrys Teach is the only son of Blackbeard and a siren. He grew up keeping himself away from the rest of the island and the other kids his own age due to the constantly renenfored idea that he was not wanted. His father had at one point been a good father but with the death of his wife(a side affect of Blackbeards own magic) he slowly lost control on his drinking and rage, taking it out of his young son. Emrys inherited his fathers storm magic, though he doesn't have a good control over it as of yet and each time a lightning strom happens he can "feel it under his skin". He has a few lichtenberg scars from when he has been struck.

(If Emrys is still on the island then he is aware of the magic in him but can't do anything with it. If he's off the island then he can feel it but has no control)

i want to preface these thoughts by saying: by no way shape and form will i ever force my headcanons on my roleplay partner of the other character i have the headcanon with. These are just my thoughts and nor do I view muns of villains in a negative light, we all love characters just different types. it does not mean they, the muns, are bad people.

my ( undead ) izuru headcanons involve Gin/Aizen of course, whom both i love dearly with all my heart, and several other characters like Hisagi, Momo, Renji, and Matsumoto. I will have a read more, gore warning etc. as this WILL get lengthy ( going in depth about izuru’s state of consciousness leading up to, the possible backlash, etc. )

basically tl;dr izuru kira becomes the epitome of despair.

After a blast in the chest from Bazz-B, obliterating his abdomen tossing his arm aside, Izuru barely “alive” is taken to Mayuri Kurotsuchi to be healed. Held together by a string of will to live, heavy poles, and enhanced by the reiatsu of Izuru’s fallen seated officers now standing at a captain’s level ( as stated by Shaz Domino in their battle in “Beginning of the revive of Tomorrow”. )

much of him ponders his existence: how he is carrying the souls of the seated officers he was unable to protect, only to continue to fight for his pride as a gotei 13 member. This mindset has been the same since Gin Ichimaru left the gotei 13 with aizen in a beam of light, leaving Kira’s trust irreparable. his personality has always revolved around his comrades, his captain, the gotei 13 ( as many shinigami were indoctrinated to unquestioningly [ i.e. he made momo bow before byakuya even though it was wrong to just allow renji to be jailed horribly injured as he was. ] believe to follow the rules and motions at the time making aizens plan easier, izuru is just another sleeper in the system. )

this could be stated as a young shinigami he was impressionable, Aizen “I plan everything to a T” Sosuke stated how he chose Hinamori specifically for being his lieutenant so that he may manipulate her like a puppet for the events of the soul society arc. ( which arguably pitted them against one another and ruined their [ hinamori and izuru’s ] relationship in my opinion ) i highly suspect that Izuru was ALSO chosen through the same process that Hinamori was picked so that there were no flaws in this plan, as Gin was in with Aizen one hundred years prior.

now, I am not saying that Gin did not CARE for Izuru personally, I am saying that Gin had a mission and that was to kill aizen by any means necessary even if it meant getting others hurt. Gin played along with Aizen’s game, the manipulation, i even think he cared for Izuru to an extent before the end of their time together, but again he had a mission he had to accomplish. What I have always loved about BLEACH is how morally grey the characters are, and Gin alongside Tosen is a great example of these archtypes. Gin wanted to kill Aizen and return the shard of the Soul King back to Rangiku, what he sold his life away to for the person he loved most.

We know Izuru as a child was more free, chipper to tease and speculate over his and Hisagi’s strength only question what happened to make Kira such a gloomy person. Perhaps it is the exposure to being a soul reaper, but the drastic changes in his personality make me question what made Izuru the person we know now? it’s only later on in my current re-reading of BLEACH in Izuru’s cell scene did i get the full extent of how uncomfortable it truly was at least for me. A dilapitated cell, scratched up, broken chair, blood splatter aross the floor, Izuru in a sling self loathing:

Hinamori’s cell was not the same state being absolutely pristine, almost the same for Renji except more concrete than wooden. Kira put the loyalty to his Captain over the loyalty to his friend when it came down to the tension over Sosuke Aizen’s “death” self loathing over what he had done. All of this Damage had been done by himself, restrained for his own safety, conflicted over his own emotions:

Izuru was lead to rely and be loyal to Gin ( if not I think part of Kira on the inside was also TERRIFIED of Gin ), leading to Izuru diverting Matsumoto after the central 46 slaughter although he tells Nayura from “Beginning of the Revive of Tomorrow” Gin did not tell him to fight Matsumoto the opposite is implied in the manga as well as matsumoto’s suspicions of some sort of manipulation ( rangiku and izuru make up tho and drink so its gucci ) with a q&a of Kira’s after the soul society rebellion sounding lost, stating how he did not want ‘liars’ in his company. However, Hinamori’s q&a had a desire for life and to move on from the tragic events unlike Izuru’s prompt.

Rose might be attached to Izuru, however, Izuru does not want to latch on to Rose and for something unmistakable to happen ( unable to trust, similar to the captain amagai arc in the anime except with one personality of strenuous trepidation and the other willing. )

It’s always been his mindset to put the Gotei 13 before his friends ( who he loves very much, he worried about rangiku more than himself even though he was a human squirting ketchup bottle ), he does not have any living family, nor does he seem to have any lingering positive feelings to himself as now Kira needs to PROVE his worth. Later on in turn back the pendelum with Kisuke and Hiyori visiting maggots nest mentioning how there is no one who intentionally leaves the Gotei 13, implying that in the Gotei 13 you either die as a shinigami or are imprisoned for life. Unquestioning loyalty is the unhealthy norm among all of them, even if it may seem endearing at times for the Division eleven members, etc.

[Undead] Izuru is just what he says: a ‘different Izuru’.

although it may be known that the hole in his chest exists, the extent that the mental state has deteriorated would be unknown to most of the people in his life. Just because of the change brought on by Ichigo and his friends does not mean that Soul society has truly made progress, many of the soul reapers linger on the old ways rather than moving forward. Shinigami are still very much sheep apart of the herd and without Kira voicing his concern about the state of being Izuru is in none would be the wiser or know about the souls essentially stapled against his own. Everyone would be complacent, silent... as possibly KIra could decend into a numb void pit similar to a Gillian.

How? Only Arrancar have been stated similar to Shinigami, but the backlash to having the souls pegged onto the motherboard would create some TYPE of hazard for Izuru in the future that would jeapordize his state of being. Here i propose this theory: Gillians are made of hollows intertwined with one another, although, most do not have any sense of individuality because of this make up,

1.) izuru would eventually lose his sense of object permanence, individuality, perpetually putting his comrades in danger by his own presence that could lead to the harm or slaughter of shinigami and the people he once loved.

2.) if the process of losing spiritual pressure is painful ( i.e. how ichigo reacted in the manga when he passed out after mugetsu ) perhaps the same can be said for those who rapidly gain spiritual pressure/reiatsu over a short period of time.

( in brave souls during his attacks he sounds like hes groaning or in pain. )

3.) interacting with izuru is a lot like pulling teeth, to yank and tear, like the moon as a waning crescent his mentality is filled with the dysphoric aftermath. Unable to turn a new page, even with the war over, izuru has not sought help for the gaping cavern that lays in his chest nor does he seem to want to...

( izuru seems to be content with living alongside his companions day to day as if the days were the same before the TYBW [ in rukia’s and renji’s getting-married novel he still has the hole because yoruichi tries to unclothe him to look at it ]. Unless kira himself comes to the conclusion that he has regained some sort of status within the gotei 13, as lieutenant within division three there will be no redemption or acceptance to fill that gap. it will be there haunting him, a wound undisclosed with all expected to walk parallel never questioning his state of being, he is detached from the world around him, isolating himself for various reasons. )

4.) the arm that was blown off is mostly repaired as synthetic, izuru holds his arms and body irregularly ( i.e. how attacks with one arm only, one shoulder is lifted higher than the other. ) and can be ejected off with enough force if applied.

5.) SPECULATION**// his will to fight/kill might be affected, as we have seen through ichigo, is what drives a shinigami to gain power in their zanpakuto is their kill intent resolve. He states that he is only fighting for his pride to gain his status back in the gotei 13, though he protected others, it was to a means to an end. However, his former resolve in battle was to the point of no doubt so it would vary by situation ( i.e. “ can i protect this place? we will see... “ )

6.) no one knows about the souls basically stapled to Izuru’s body. most likely people understand he had grown stronger without a bankai but not HOW. The only people who know are Mayuri, Nemu ( who is dead), possibly Akon, and very few of those in the twelfth division but those would be sworn to silence.

7.) a type of imposter syndrome. believing that he is not the real izuru, since he did indeed die, combined with several different souls who could he be? it’s why he becomes irrationally agitated when the events of TYBW or the hole inside his body is brought up, why has he not closed it? truly he is frightened of what the answer might be and only clams up more aka linked back to #3

the reason i call him the epitome of despair is that he always had good intentions, he loves his friends endlessly, he serves his company with loyalty that would be expected of a perfect soldier, but he never had a chance from the start that he entered the academy.

he might have been able to save one girl inside of the central 46 that would go on to do big changes alongside the captain commander and nanao, but for Izuru already so much had been lost at one time significance had no meaning. his life had no meaning, all his faith in the system had been proven to be meaningless as corrupt, most of all he could not protect his comrades that were compounded to his body : how could he continue to be a shinigami in the gotei thirteen, a lieutenant no less? how could he protect others?

i don’t want to stereotype him as the “”””emo””””” type as he, at the core, is far from it even with and despite how gloomy Izuru reacts. He is, for the most part, a grounded level headed individual who is self disciplined, decisive even when it comes to battle that separates him from the rest of the lieutenants ( he has a usual indecisiveness, but it can be worked to his advantage in some situations. )

Loyal, soft spoken, the friend you would WANT to have, Izuru can still express emotion as the sheer panic and fright he had when yoruichi tried to disrobe him just to look at his hole was genuine enough. hell he even ran division three for a short time by himself, i think that is something to be recognized.

it’s not that he does not believe as the head of central 46 thinks, but that his reasoning for who he was wanes his existence. all of it is jarring, there would have to be some kind of backlash.

it would be easy to say ‘get orihime to heal him’ and ‘get it over with’ but orihime struggled to heal ichigo through ulquiorra’s cero that shot through his chest the first time because of the strong reiatsu that lingered. Bazz-B is a thousand year old quincy, in comparison the effort would most likely exhaust orihime before she even finishes because of the residual energy that imprinted. Knowing how orihime’s powers work it relies on her mental fortitude, she is human and not indespensible, Kira sees this as a burden on the ryoka and would not ask this of them after all that Ichigo and his friends have done for them.

degradation was not personality/character improvement rather the focus of the marigold on his character was specific, and I am sure there would have been more if Kubo was not rushed by deadlines and illness. I feel like im repeating points by now so i think hopefully everyone gets the picture of what I mean, if anyone has any questions let me know!

So, this is my Sole Survivor

For the sake of my own personal roleplay, as I do a brand new run of Fallout 4, I created a whole new character...and I wanted to share 😖😊

Andraste Roux

Andraste was born deep under the earth to a small group of escapee Elves from experimentation done with FEV by the Commonwealth Institute of Technology. Her grandfather escaped the experiments with his lover and Mate, Khione. She was intended to be the only one. However, Khione chose to gather a few of her friends and they made the escape all together. Eventually starting a new underground, just like the Institute. For two generations they remained undiscovered and safe from the CIT's rule. However, when Andraste and Na'te were born, the CIT began looking for their escaped subjects. By the time Andraste and Na'te were of a decent age, their families had been found and captured. Andraste's mother told them both to flee to the surface.

They did as they were bade and both ended up joining the military. They both made distinguished soldiers of themselves and were honorably discharged after Andraste and her husband Nate had a particularly savage event happen. Both of them gained a taste for human flesh.

For many years they both used their taught glamour to hide the true color of their eyes. And a week after their discharge, Andraste became pregnant. They both decided to take the pregnancy as a chance to rejoin civilian life and live peacefully. However two weeks after their son, Shaun, was born the bombs fell and they were all cryogenically frozen.

When she is woken up one hundred and fifty years later only for her husband to be murdered and her son stolen. Andraste pops out of her pod, after another sixty years, in full on war mode. She does not give two solid fucks about random citizens who cant take care of themselves, that is until she meets a one John Hancock, who shows her you can be ruthless, but still help people at the same time. So with him and her ever faithful dog at her side, they go on a trek to find her lost son.

When she decides to help the brotherhood, she meets Paladin Danse who is a little odd when it comes to emotions and normal human interactions. Due to her prior associations with the Railroad, she believes he is a Synth. And knowing full well what it is like to be an experiment for those who feel they can play God, she joins only to later find out she was correct and he is a synth. She saves him from Maxson and let's him live in her former home.

When she finds out the Institute, decendents of the same CIT who destroyed her entire family had turned her son into just as much a monster and their leader. She's out for blood. And when in the end, she has to choose to either join those who have done nothing but take from her, or destroy them. When Shaun makes the announcement that he is dying, her choice is clear. She destroys the Institute, however when her son died and the bond was left snapped and frayed she clung to the only thing left of her child she had. The Synth Shaun.

However as much as she loved him, she could see and feel how her broken bonds were changing her. Turning her into something she never wanted him to see. So she takes off leaving him in the ever faithful hands of the settlers she had invited into Sanctuary, only coming around when she feels she is stable enough to be safe for the boy.

A couple years of roaming around slowly losing her mind, when she hears the Nuka World Family Radio. She decides to go and see what it's about. That's where she finds the Nuka World Raiders. This is perfect. They are perfect for her. They wont give a fuck about her tendency to eat anything she kills, they wont give a fuck about her sanity as long as she runs them right. Its everything she's been looking for.

And meeting Porter Gage. When she meets Gage, she almost immediately forms a rudimentary Mate bond. She doesnt know how considering he's human, but she does. Nothing that would bother him, but something that eased a bit of her lost sanity. It can never cure it, but it makes the pain infinitely more bearable.

She doesn't trust him immediately though, despite the bond. It takes them prowling around the Parks and taking more territory for her to truly understand. In the meantime, she uses the bond as an anchor. Uses it to keep her grounded in reality. She parties with the Raiders, does odd jobs for them, silently plots how to get rid of the Disciples, because she doesnt trust them as far as they can throw her, which is not at all, and she occasionally has full on brawls with Mason. No guns, no knives, just pure fist fights. The Raiders love it and it endears Mason to her, without her having to try all that much.

Porter Gage however isnt very fond of these matches, mostly because he thinks it's a pointless waste of time, but Andraste's the Overboss. And he cant help but see how happy and light she looks after her and Mason get done. The only time he was all for the match was the one where Mason tried to choke her out to get her to tap out, but Andraste knocked him to the floor and yanked his arm into an arm-bar, snapping it at the elbow. That one was a huge hit with all of the Raiders Gangs.

When they are about to take over the last park, she had pulled on her boots, and Gage was attaching a knife sheath into her boot, when Dixie came up the elevator to talk to her about going out for a little a fun, she threw a knife to see if she could catch the Overboss off guard and it sliced through Andraste's arm, spattering Gage's face with her blood and then sticking into the desk she had been sitting by. Gage ended up swallowing a little of her blood, this caused him to get sick for a little while. However when he woke up, he could see out of his right eye again, and he felt healthier than he ever had before.

When Andraste came to check on him, his eyes had changed to look more Elven, basically a more intense version of what it had already been. She felt the bond snap completely into place and she realized this was why, he was always meant to be this, and he was always meant to be hers. She hadnt been able to form a Mate Bond with her late husband, but she had finally found who was supposed to be hers.

She realized then why he was supposed to be hers. Gage keeps the peace between the gangs, he keeps her on target and focused. With her literally losing her mind to the pain of her broken bonds, she was manic and crazy at times. Porter kept her grounded, he balanced her out.

After a small freak out on Gage's part, they both come to realize this is how it supposed to be. And together they go on to rule the Commonwealth under their Raider rule.

Profession(s): Mercenary for Hire for The Era’s Respite, and informant for Ebongard.

Alignment: Neutral Chaotic - Ja’gun will keep his word if it serves his interests. He may attack an unarmed foe if he feels it necessary. He will not kill, but may harm an innocent. He may use torture to extract information, but never for pleasure. A chaotic neutral character may use poison. He may help those in need and he prefers to work alone, as he values his freedom. He does not respond well to higher authority, is distrustful of organizations, and will disregard the law in pursuing his self-interest. He may betray a family member, comrade, or friend, but only in the most dire of situations. Chaotic neutral characters do not respect the concepts of self-discipline and honor, because they believe such concepts limit freedom to advance their self-interest.

Professional Talents: Alchemy & Magic - The bulk of his childhood within the Steppe was manifacturing things that Eorzea herself has given. He learned to live off the land, and brew various different antidotes, potions and detrimental ailments that would offer him the upper hand in combat. He spent years on his venture to Ul’dah training and becoming more proficient with magic, and is able to summon, manipulate and control different elements based on his concentration.

Current Residence: Raincatcher Gully - Wineport

Likely Haunts: Regularly, Limsa Lominsa itself, and occasionally the Quicksand.

Hobbies: Exploring off the beaten path, discovering locations that have seen little Civilization. Brewing and testing different alchemy con-coctions. Any form of entertainment be it a show or Fight Club.

Abbreviated Bio: J’agun is a decendant from a Seeker/Keeper couple who abandoned him at a young age on the borders of Yanxia and the Steppe. He was found by a youthful Xaela couple of the Kalkol tribe who adopted him into their arms and raised him within the Steppe. Over the years he learned from the various tribes, adopting their mannerisms and actions until it were second nature. Learning from the Dotharl on how to fight, from the Qestir on their lack of verbal communication. He considers himself very much one of the Xaela, despite his striking ears and tail. After departing the Steppe to learn Thaumaturgy, he remains within Limsa Lominsa, namely near the forest of Costa Del Sol. Regularly visiting Civilization but with his main priority to defend the Forest from intruders in the absence of the Elementals.

Greetings! I’m Blue and I typically play on GMT hours, although on weekends I’m probably more on NA hours (I stay up late!) My main is on Balmung but I’m welcome to other servers (World Visit is soon upon us!)

All in all:

I tend to stray far from E-RP, I don’t particularly have much of an interest in it!

RP HOOKS

1. The Steppe

During J’agun’s birth, he came across many a Xaela. Some friendly, some not so much. It could be that your character may have come across him then! Afterall, a blue haired Miqo’te dwelling in the Steppe isn’t one so easily forgotten!

2. Contracts

As a Mercenary for hire, with the promise of gil is a promise for delivery. J’agun is actively accepting contracts, without much regard to their purpose. Be it to find a lost Coeurl, or to permanently silence someone. There isn’t a job too grubby for this Miqo’te, as Gil makes the world go round.

3. Student

Was your character a member of the Thaumaturgy Guild in Ul’dah? Perhaps they’ve seen him in passing or heard his name across the winds. It’s definitely possible to find him this way!

4. Events!

Is there an event going on that you might want to use as a basis to establish a connection with J’agun? By all means! He’s up for damn near almost any event going!
