tbh the current p!atd memes makes it really clear people don't really think about what goes into making the art they consume.

like, how does a one man band disband? by not being one person. I'd be Shocked if Urie has done more than vocals and Maybe lyric writing on his tracks since he started doing P!atd solo. Beyond that tours aren't one person affairs, and i doubt Urie was doing his own marketing, managing, mixing, merch creation and distribution, royalty collection, pr, music distribution, localization, and so on and so on. It takes a Massive team to make a IP like p!atd function. and while Urie might have been the only Official name on the albums, it's real common in the music industry for smaller name contributers to just get erased.

#hell there were probably more people who had being part of p!atd as their full time job whos names we will never know because they weren't #musicians than there have ever been official members of the band itself. #theres 24 non urie people in doab's album credits.

My latest considerations on this matter, then I won't stop for my own good as P!ATD (at, least, the first five albums) is one of my favourite bands.

First of all (and I talk as a person that doesn't care about music lore. I can listen to a band/singer but I don't care about backgrounds, people etc., with MARINA as the only exception. So, yes, I don't know what Pete Wentz did and I'd like someone to explain me), I still think that Internet overreacted to Brendon, and they acted as a person can't understand, get better and grow (especially if most of the things happened when a person was 18 in the emo scene in 2005). He did some bad things, and I won't say they weren't, but it seemed to me he has tried to get better.

Also, a friendly reminder that bully a person even if you consider them problematic is still bullying someone (yes, even if they are a celebrity).

Okay, aside from that: I'm happy. I might consider that Brendon as person was treated unfairly, but his vocals and songs weren't. He DID terrible music and should have stopped after DOAB, and I'm happy that Ryan got to see this. Come back king. You and your lyricist talent
