I have something to show you. So there is the German 80's band 'Dschinghis Khan' who participated in the ESC in 1979.

They're apparently fans of KM as well. Why am I saying that? Well, here's their song 'Hadschi Halef Omar'. It's about the Oriental Cycle (and a hymn to our little sihdi). And quite the bob, if I might say so...
