i really hope i dont sound rude or anything, but it's come to a point seeing some of the statements that i cant really. empathize with parts of the stories of some of the ex-admins? it's upsetting, cause no one deserves worplace abuse and the things that they endure but like...

part of my brain cant shake off the knowing that most if not all of these admins who left had the means to stay unpaid for months. i dont know if i explain myself? i couldnt FATHOM spending even one month on a project that's not gonna be payed, let alone staying on it even logner after not getting paid on the day i was told i would

not because im some smart and strong person or something: i simply cant afford it. i cant go one month without being paid because i would go homeless, i couldnt dedicate entire days of my week to anything if it wasnt going to be paid because i wouldnt be able to eat, or pay my bills.

and these are all young people who absolutely deserve better, and who did not deserve to be exploited on the workplace but that. idk. could go months, one of them even a year without getting paid, and yes feeling the stress and the exploitation and all that it's BAD, but my brain just cant help but go "and yet they could afford to stay unpayed" and i genuinely hate it but idk.....

anyways i have no idea why im sending this i just had to vent it somewhere and you're ltierally one of the only people who i've seen be welcoming of points of view other than your own about this theme

First i wanna say that i get how it can be difficult to empathise when you’re yourself in a « work and get paid or starve » situation. (Been there done that so when I say I get you I really do)

And I think it’s fine to feel like that, we all have our own biases that come from our experience and living conditions. It’s fine, it’s just that it’s important not to let it completely cloud our judgement on the matter, it’s a serious enough situation for it to be way past a simple empathy check. Our personal feelings don’t really weigh on this situation as it’s far beyond that.

Because facts are that even if some of them were able to go through all this without payment (bc they had some money already, another job, lived with their parents whatever) it still remains that young people were being promised a pay they never got, got baited by the opportunity to make a living doing something they loved, working for something they were passionate about, or some just had to take the low pay because that was still better than no pay at all.

And people being in situation like yours are one of the reasons it’s so important for people to denounce poor working conditions and fight for workers rights. Because if you don’t, nothing will change and there will always be someone who’s more desperate for the job, who needs the money more, who will have to endure an underpaid, shitty job in place of someone who was "lucky" enough to be able to walk out.

I am the most normal Joseph fan you will ever meet and I'm sure other people can confirm this for you. In my head 24/7. I began to like him for the jokes but then I realised how fucked and complex of a character he was and he grew on me like fungus. I want to rant about him. I CAN, and I would be able to write a lot here because a lot of it would be fueled by pure spite (SO MANY people get him wrong Help Me I'm fighting for my life here) but I am so so eepy rn. So sadly I will have to turn away from a prime opportunity to rant about him :(

he also like, genuinely loves how you describe things when you forget the word because with the way your mind works you wont describe it in a way that sound serious

has started calling a few things by the "nicknames" you've given them unironically bc he was calling them that ironically for a while and it became a habit

examples of things you've said: spaghetti cake (lasagna), dead but not dude (zombie), etc

and if you forgot the name of a character in like a video game (or didn't know in general) he likes the nicknames you come up with for those as well, because they're named after their defining feature

for the entire game of little nightmares II you couldn't for the life of you remember your partner's name (six) and kept calling them (her?) most are little light-hearted side comments that are there just to poke fun at you and not actually meant to be rude and focus on your memory issue

To the anon who is stupid about blocking. :

the only time I’ve ever been upset about being blocked was when I asked a legitimate question (asked what all cosmetic studies entailed) to one of the hair stylist tumblr blogs and they were mean to me before blocking me. I block people for liking mangoes. I block people for having a pfp that hurts my eyes (I have very sensitive eyes). I block people for making too many typos (makes it hard for me to read their posts) I block people because they reblogged a picture of a rat and I thought it was ugly so I blocked them. I block easily and I don’t care. My DNI is very specific. My blocklist is not-and that’s because while I have people I’d rather not interact with me, my blocklist is picked out by myself at the time of deciding to block someone. I can’t exactly go “here is a list of criteria (that is random and changes every other minute) that will qualify you for the block list”. I blocked a friend for being slightly rude to someone else in the reblogs of a post I reblogged. I really can’t tell you what will get you blocked. If that causes anxiety, then I don’t know what to tell you except I’m not changing my behavior on this matter. I tried not blocking people spontaneously and it was miserable. My comfort is just as valid as some stranger on the internet. That stranger is responsible for curating the content for themselves, just as I am for me. I am doing that. Anon, you need to chill the fuck out and go block some folks.

a/n, let me just add context: you and hyuck have been best-friends since you were kids and now he lives next door to you in university. except, you really don’t know what the use is of the wall that separates the two of your spaces because he’s always over at yours or vice versa. at this point there’s no such thing as boundaries. ahem hyuck thinks boundaries are for pussies. so, you’re both at such a high level of comfortableness that hyuck takes shits with the door open and you don’t need to leave a room to get changed. so much so, people sometimes thing yall are dating—but that’s not the point. you guys are just cool like that, okay continue

“hey buttface! your door is unlocked again!” donghyuck calls into your apartment the moment he steps in

seeing the lack of your appearance in the living room, he slips off his shoes (carelessly nudging them out of the way) and throws his jacket and backpack into your sofa

pulling at the sleeves of his hoodie, he first makes his way to the kitchen, “my dumb shower is busted again, and I need to use yours!” but his words echo in the emptiness of the room

“y/n?” leaving his hoodie on your counter he makes his way deeper into your apartment, but this time, speaking up a little louder. “I was going to go bother mark but you’re just so much closer so-” donghyuck slips an arm out one sleeve of his t-shirt letting it half rest on his shoulder

then stops to stand in front of your closed bedroom door. “you’re asleep, aren’t you?” he sighs under his breath

“whatever,” taking one step back his hand naturally finds the doorknob to the bathroom behind him, “you can’t say I didn’t ask.”

then he swiftly takes a step backwards into the bathroom and closes the door in front of him.

pulling the rest of his t-shirt over his face he spins around only to find you under a sea of bubbles occupying the tub, eyes closed and headphones on

“jeez!” donghyuck jumps in his spot, clutching his top to his chest at your totally unexpected appearance, “y/n!”

you open your eyes to see the shirtless boy backed up against the bathroom door

with the music you had blasting in your ears, you weren’t surprised you hadn’t heard him at all up until this point

“oh, hyuck?” you casually lift one side of your headphones off, giving him the weirdest look. “what are you doing here?”

“you scared me.” he says, shoulders relaxing at the sight of just your innocent self. “I thought you were something else.”

chucking his shirt on the closed toilet seat, he runs his fingers through his hair and rubs his chest with the other.

“rude.” you joke flicking a little bit of bath-water his way

but he swiftly dodges with a bubble of laughter

“what are you doing here?” you pull your headphones off completely and donghyuck helps you place them next to the sink, “I thought you were at johhny’s?”

“firstly, learn to lock your door.”

you splash more water at him

“and secondly, I need to use your shower.” he says so blatantly, “my one’s out again.”

you scoff at him, “uh. I don’t know if you can tell, but it’s kind of occupied at the moment.” you lift your hands up at him a little dumbfounded.

he always does this; invade what little you had left of alone time.

“so?” donghyuck unbuckles his belt and shrugs, “just move over a little bit.”

“nooo, no hyuck” you groan in annoyance, “please, don’t be a dickhead. I wanted to relax”

“and I want to get clean.” he rebuts kicking his jeans off in your direction

they land with a puff of air on the floor adjacent to the tub

“jesus hyuck, you smell like cat piss”

“we hotboxed johnny’s bathroom. and no I don’t, my clothes do.”

you give him a dry look.

“you’re overreacting.” he whines. you always chat the most shit about how much smoking smells but do it anyways, it was stupidly cute.

now, donghyuck stood hands on hips, in the middle of your bathroom in only his boxers

he looks at you expectantly as if he were waiting for you to make some room

but you warn him with your eyes not to step any closer

donghyuck sniffs, lifting his nose high and nodding his head continuously, “okay. alright,” he presses his tongue into the inside of his cheek, “fine.”

just when you think he’s going to back away, he takes two big strides over towards the tub

“no, hyuck, you fat shit- don’t!” you grab onto his wrist when he tries to stabilize himself with the rim of the tub

you start laughing when his knees send a wave of water up your chin

“quit being a wuss.” then he’s already half in the water with you and laughing all the same

“I’m not! you’re just- hyuck!”

“stay still!”

“your legs are too fucking long!-”

“you love my legs.”

“not when they’re in my bath! g- hyuck!-”

donghyuck pulls at your wrist to yank you forward to make enough room for him to slip behind you and get you tucked perfectly between his stupid long legs.

clasp still around your wrist, he folds your arm against your chest from behind to push you backwards into his frame

“there,” his bare chest felt hot against your back. “we fit.”

“I hate you.” once he lets go, you rub your wrist acting as if it hurt

so donghyuck takes your hand and laces his fingers with yours before pulling it under the water. “you’re such a liar.” he likes to think you say things like that on purpose

you squeeze his hand from underneath, he wasn’t completely wrong.

soon enough, you settle comfortably against his body, moving your shoulders a little whilst donghyuck adjusts to your weight.

“see.” donghyuck smiles smug against the shell of your ear. “we should do this more often.”

you sigh in plain annoyance, but regardless, close your eyes and lean your head back until it rests comfortably on his shoulder

“you’re so annoying” you exhale

donghyuck laughs and you realize you love the sound of it so close to your ears

“yeah, whatever.” his smiling lips reach down until they press gently into the dip of your shoulder

when he pulls away, his touch leaves a glimmer of heat under your skin you can’t ignore

it isn’t the first time donghyuck has kissed you. but it was definitely the first time you had felt anything more

usually it was a peck on the back of your hand, or an annoying smooch into your cheek—never one into the bare skin of your shoulder

lips lingering a little too long, donghyuck almost forgets that he can’t leave kisses across the rest of your skin, so instead he leans his head on the fist he kept propped up by his elbow on the edge of the tub

he generously lets his eyes trail down all the spots he wished his lips could mark

his chest ached at how vulnerably good you looked with your eyes closed and neck exposed

“jaehyun asked me if you were single.” donghyuck speaks up

so out of the blue it takes a moment to process what he’s even said

..he wants to talk about jaehyun?

you find it funny how he tells you that whilst sharing a damn bath with you and shamelessly holding your hand.

donghyuck waits for your response, his brows twitching at the way you seemed incredibly unfazed by the fact that the hottest guy you both knew wanted to know if you were single

it made him wish he could read minds

“shh. I’m trying to relax.” sure, jaehyun was insanely attractive. but there’s a reason why you cuddle with donghyuck every night.

at your reply, donghyuck shuts up, silently glad your eyes are still closed because he can’t stop the smug smile tugging at his lips

he releases the fist from under his cheek, dipping it below the surface of the water to draw circles on the highest point of your thigh

“did you tell him I was?” you suddenly ask (too nonchalantly for his liking)

something in him falls so deep at the way you jolt under his fingers and he can’t help but sink his teeth into the inviting dip of your shoulder right there, glistening with wet and so close under his chin

his plump lips latch onto your skin as he bites gently into your flesh and your hand quickly moves out of the water to the nape of his neck

a wave of heat shivers down your body and you fist at the hairs on the back of his neck

donghyuck has definitely crossed some new kind of boundaries.

for a moment, donghyuck snaps out of his adrenaline high, his breath evidently heavy against your skin as his bite leaves a lingering tingle of desire

thinking maybe he’s gone a little too far, he tries to retract the other hand he had still laced with yours and simultaneously pull his nose away from your tempting shoulder

but you don’t let him.

your fingers squeeze his hand in the depths of the bath and your palm stays hot against the back of his neck

right, donghyuck assures himself, fuck boundaries.

this time, donghyuck bites painfully slower into the slope closer to your neck

it would’ve hurt if you weren’t so distracted by the burning feeling melting in the pit of your stomach when the hand he had pinching your hip slipped between your thighs

you exhale a shaky breath

and donghyucks heart swells

he adores the way your head rolls further back into his shoulder and the way you whimper so delicately into the shell of his ear

you were so fucking addicting

following up the curve of your neck, donghyuck finally gets a taste up your jaw until your hand slips from the nape of his neck to his cheek to guide his mouth to yours

in a moment so undefined, so boundless and so intimate, he kisses you for the first time

his lips caressing yours in a crashing wave of lust as he steals your breath

hunger and infatuation bleeds from his lips you almost drown in it, barely being able to keep up when the kneading of his lips turns wet with tongue

a moan gets muffled in the back of your throat and donghyuck slowly moves back

he doesn’t stray too far though, forehead against yours and nose so near you could breathe in his breath

“you taste gross.” you mutter, lips still bumping into his.

you blame johnny’s influence for the thick, bitter aftertaste donghyuck left on your tongue

donghyuck breaks out into a smile and his laughter echoes against the bathroom tiles

“fine.” he kisses your cheek first

then his lips find their way back down your jaw, “here okay?”

you nod when his nose buries into your neck

“good.” he mumbles applying more pressure with the hand he had between your thighs

another moan erupts from your throat when he rubs more confidently against your front

“I didn’t give jaehyun an answer.” his words tumble hotly across the span of your neck, “told him I would ask you first.”

you can barely let out a whimper

“what should I tell him?” he lifts his hips against your back and you squeeze his hand

“what would you like me to tell him?” he corrects himself

“I-”

you can’t think anymore when his teeth begin to punch into your neck again

“you what?” he delicately kisses the blossoming marks he’s branded into your skin

“I’m,” you don’t know what comes over you when you say it. but you do. “I might have some time for him”

donghyuck chuckles maliciously into your skin; even trapped under his touch you dared to be such a brat

he hums amused into your neck and your hand falls weak from his cheek to his jaw

“oh you will?” he bites into your skin and your back arches

your breath trembles but you challenge him either way, “maybe.”

with the hand between your legs, donghyuck harshly binds you backwards, pushing you impossibly further into his frame and letting his hips grind harder into you from behind

“you’re going to regret that.”

ALSO OK RAGGEDY ANN MOVIE IDEA again ill make a post about it soon but ill give some key points 2 it

- i want it to be 2D, but cgi/live-action works too. the medium doesnt exactly matter as long as it looks good. big thing is you never see the humans faces, the key focus is on the toys and should only Be on the toys. my voice hc for Ann would have 2 be Kate Micucci. but Andy is up in the air, rlly any weird white boy internet comedian works, like john mulaney or smthn? idk :/

- its a musical! obviously. u cant have a raggedy movie with some musical numbers. i would like it to be broadway-esque in genre but if they have 2 have a cash grab radiofriendly song in there thats cool too as long as its like... good

- main plot is a volland raggedy ann (one of the first made raggedys from 1918-late 1920s) is trying to find her brother after years of being separated. but due to being holed up in an attic for almost like. 90 years. she doesnt really remember much of him, other than the fact that they have matching tags indicating their previous owner. she sets out on a journey to find him, and its ur typical fish out of water/Im In The Future Woah kinda deal. when she does find andy, its in a toy museum, full of other raggedys..! andy is this rough n tough kinda guy, very rude and very brash. key point here is andy doesnt think ann is His Ann, kinda having this preconceived notion that His Ann would've been Cool and Adventurous. not the mousey kinda naive Ann he met, even tho This Ann is very certain that they were Real Sibs! (the brand does exist within the movies universe, so there are TONS of different anns and andys, thus the reason why andy is so skeptical). anyway shenanigans ensue, adventures are had, etc etc. the key point to this whole thing is that you never really get to know if they truly are sibs, at least, the sibs they knew Way Back When. but they grow closer n eventually see eachothr as sibs and thATS what MATTERS

- i want the moral of the story to be that, like, blood relation doesnt equate family. yea you never exactly Know if this ann and andy were 'actually' sibs but you know that by the end of the movie they are. its just a good moral thats not rlly explored in a lot childrens media.

- anns character is more similar to the 1977 animated movie, but with some. actual character. so, shes sweet n kind n affectionate, but also a little ditzy and naive. alongside that, shes rlly smart, handy and brave! shes forgetful, but adamant about the things she remembers. shes also fairly wise, in this childlike way. as her animator from the 1977 movie, shes like a wise little girl who is also 70 years old. shes like,,, v quirky fun lead, with some deep seated issues but also Gets Shit Done.

-andy is also similar to the 1977 movie, but again with like, some actual character added to him. hes a strong tough terrific boy, who's also audacious in nature? like hes just rude and obnoxious and a know-it-all. but, alongside that, he's insecure and anxious when met with Real Challenge. he often frets about remaining in Good Condition, mainly bc hes already had to get his leg reattached once, hes worth a LOT u know!!! but hes also sentimental, in a way that one would either not notice or not get to see. he takes his past very seriously, and even though he cant remember too much since, again, 100ish years is a long time, he finds himself drawn 2 what once was! so like, ur typical brave cocky lead, but also hes kind of just a big baby..!

- their personality differences definitely cause them to butt heads, and woild obv cause the keypoint in the movie where they go their separate ways. (NO it wont be the misunderstanding trope i hate those... itll probably just be an outright disagreement)

- i wont get into the actually Plot yet, bc i had too many ideas, but im certain itll lean toward either trying to find Ann's Andy, with Rude Andy™ being the sidekick. or something to do with the toy museum andy resides in.. hmmmm

- yea!!!! im being crimge but I DOMT CARE.... have a raggedy post!!!!
