Former Hollyoaks star Parry Glasspool will appear in Emmerdale next week as drug dealer Jason Denshaw. 

Leyla is struggling with the fact that she has to find a new supplier for her cocaine fix. Enter Jason Denshaw, who is now going to be her new drug supplier. Glasspool will make his first appearance as Jason in next Friday's episode (Fri June 3rd 7pm ITV).

With the attention Disney is getting recently, a resurgence of posts bemoaning their live action remakes and a return of The Muppet Post, I feel the time is right to share again my idea for a Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood live action remake featuring:

One of the things I'm particularly bitter about when it comes to this ending is how it flattened Ed and Izzy's relationship.

You can't, in the same season give me

"I have... love for you, Edward." "I loved you, best I could." "Artsy outsider was always your thing." "A shark did this."

and

"Hello Mr. Latch! it's not your fault you're broken, no. Were just trying to do your job, weren't ya?"

and expect me to just... move on from that, accepting that we will never get anything more from them, that their relationship won't get explored, that they won't have a the chance, time and space to finally talk it through as a crew, to air out their grievances, to reach a boiling point, and to decide where to move on from there. Within just a few episodes they became the most fascinating part of the show for me, and the fact that, as far as we know, this is it for them... yeah, I don't like that at all.

#they deserved so much space to try and work through all the shit they've been through and what they did to each other #speaking hurriedly as izzy was dying in ed's arms was just not it chief. like. if that's the ending we're gonna get. fine. but they deserve #so much better #not to mention that this season fully showed that Con and Taika are spectacular actors #they could carry material of absolutely catastrophic emotional intensity #and i think that's the kind of skill you'll need in your cast to show the end (or rekindling?) of a decades long relationship #they could've done it!!!!! #sigh. the owl house was really like oh yeah by the way a significant number of children avoided being collected solely because they were hiding out inside this one high school and all the adults in the building and a few of their classmates and friends were turned to puppets right before their eyes and taken away and they've just been alone here ever since. yeah it's been months since they've seen their families. it's unclear whether or not they're aware that the collector's been using their loved ones as toys in reenactments of the adventures of a lost friend of theirs. there are kindergarteners trapped in there. they spent a significant amount of time and effort on a meticulous, perfectly constructed stone statue honoring their collected principal who was one of the only people protecting them when the collector's spies came and it's dorky and unprofessional but they're so genuinely grateful for what he did and they never got to thank him themselves. their "leader" is the former captain of the grudgby team who's deeply traumatized and terrified 100% of the time and only took the job cause she wanted some sense of control over a nightmare situation. an adult in disguise has been manipulating her to do what she's told this entire time. their food is rotten and moldy and they were so scared of being found they put a sign up outside that said "no non-puppets inside". yeah. it's funny though. it's just a silly joke. look at luz's new palisman!

#the owl house #toh spoilers #this isn't a criticism of new hexside's portrayal or anything #i don't think it's tonally bad or whatever to play this mostly for a joke it's a great segment #i just. god. i have a lot of thoughts about the new hexside kids. they're KIDS okay they're kids #and they think they're responsible for rebuilding society. they can't leave their makeshift home #without risking being collected or killed. hell they can't WALK AROUND INSIDE without risking harm. #i think about that kindergartener pretending to kill an enemy to 'save their father' and i just. sigghhhh. #the littler kids probably have even less of an idea what's going on than the older ones. god. do they even know where their parents are??? #like. god. do you understand?? do you see my agitation?? ed fell into an empty well while running for his life #away from the spies #after trying to find and rescue amity and alador no less! #and he spent the next few months in a full body cast!! you don't walk away from that unscathed! he's a kid!!!

i think its time for me to share some of my story and also talk about angela <3

this is a positive post but contains heavy topics, please proceed with care ❤️‍🩹

for my whole life, or as long as i can remember, i have struggled with body dysmorphia and disordered eating.

when i was sixteen, these issues got really serious and took over my life. i was hospitalised, and over the next few years saw endless GPs, specialists, dietitians, and referred to day stays and recovery programs. it was neverending. i never felt good enough, or "sick enough", and was stuck in my own mind.

eventually i became okay with the idea of recovery and at around the same time, my love of smosh rekindled itself after being a fan for many years. i had seen angela giarratana in starkid musicals and smosh videos and loved her so much, i related to her a lot.

around the start of recovery i had noticed subtle comments and allusions she had made to her own experiences that many may not have noticed unless they had been in a similar situation (moments talking about her sword af character being like herself, etc)

then came her short film "guts". the combination of these things made me feel so seen and valid and safe and brought me so much comfort. it was the push i needed to commit to real recovery. and now i am months into recovery. ❤️‍🩹

her openness and subtle vulnerability has brought me immense comfort. she deserves the world and there is no way i could ever thank her enough for the impact she has made if she even knew how she had contributed to my recovery.

being able to relate to her and finding reasons to take back control of my life is something i think i should finally share with you all on here.

i still have days where im not doing so great. but i am reminded that i am not alone and i can get better. angela is one of those reminders. <3

i was so lost until i was reminded there was hope for me.i wont say recovery is easy, because it isn't. but if you are struggling, you are seen. i promise. there is hope for you.
