🏴‍☠️💎🩸 DEATH BY DIAMOND🩸💎🏴‍☠️ Happy Halloween, you spooky lot! 🎃👻 This year’s Halloween look is a drag look called ‘Death by Diamond.’ I took inspiration from two places: first, the pirate legend of the black spot. The Black Spot is a mark of death to a pirate. It was originally a proverbial term applied to a pirate who has a death mark by the authorities or other pirates for misdeeds he must pay for with his life. Second, Ellie Diamond. See I’ve joked about if she saw my makeup or cosplay recreations, she’d want to kill me and I’d face ‘Death by Diamond’ - and pirate lore plus Ellie Diamond equals THIS ARTISTRY! 💎🙊🎃 I even included some shots with my @elliediamondofficial lollipop prop replica that I made myself! This is Rodger Red, the boogie-body-rocking alter ego of @elliediamondofficial - and honestly, I felt SMOKING HOT in this look! The eyeliner and brow shapes in particular were tricky, but I did it! And maybe one day I may take my drag to the next level, but I’m not quite ready for that yet. For now, here’s my cosplay of the queen who got me started with drag makeup, the Baby Doll of Dundee herself, @elliediamondofficial, including a handmade lollipop prop, like the one from her Drag Race UK look! I was gifted this giant lollipop full of actual lollipops, and I thought it seemed familiar. I sanded and painted it, attached packing peanuts as marshmallows and little pink and white charms around the edge and even learnt how to make pom-poms!
