modern!mizu headcannons

a/n: my brain has been nothing but her so it’s ab time i write ab her. i’ve read a bunch of modern!mizu headcannons ab her but i need more !! it becomes a drabble at the end but my girl deserves peace and happiness pls

i’ve read a lot of hc w her in uni so i’ll prob stick to the similar things ive read + more

modern!mizu would def be in university studying mechanical engineering

ik this is specific but pls hear me out it fits bc shes a smartie & her adopted dad (master eiji) was a very technical person when she was growing up

she’s also in uni due to an engineering scholarship

modern!mizu is usually at the gym if it wasn’t for classes and fixing her bike

yes she has a motorcycle. i stand by this hc and many others who share similar ideas.

prob a kawasaki ninja but decked out w her own alternations

modern!mizu is a gym rat but is too stubborn to admit it, esp after taigen pointed it out once

likes to go in the early morning for the peace and quiet

she typically goes in for cardio and weights to keep her healthy and in shape but has dabbled in calisthenics before

taigen used to fence w her before he got into other sports such as basketball

(random thought but he just looks like he would play basketball player)

modern!mizu is very smart… but has a slight huge problem with procrastination

akemi has tried many studying techniques with mizu but it ends up her procrastinating and finishing alone

she prefers studying alone in the library or at her desk, until you came along

modern!mizu cannot cook for shit i’m sorry

she can kinda chef it up but it’s taken her a while she nearly burnt the kitchen and has repeatedly turned on the fire alarm and now ringo has ptsd

usually ringo will cook something or help her cook

speaking of ringo

her and ringo are roommates in off-campus housing 2 bed 2 bath

at first, dad eiji was a bit hesitant since he was helping mizu move in but warmed up to ringo once he cooked them dinner (his mom’s soba recipe)

mizu swears she saw a tear roll down her dad’s cheek that day

modern!mizu usually dresses more casually and comfy but still likes her dark blues

not to self indulge but she would like the baggy acubi look that she can move in

(i know this is so inaccurate of others’ headcannons but pls the baggy button up + slingbag combo would go crazy)

ik she got a uniqlo drawstring sling bag

it’s easier to get on and balance on her motorcycle with comfy clothes and a secure bag

on mizu’s and ringo’s move-in “anniversary” (as ringo like to call it), he got her a lil keychain for her bag with a jingle on it as a joke to her initial move-in gift to him: a bell for being so silent

modern!mizu usually keeps to herself and her friends

after her ex bf m*k*o (yes im censoring his name he doesnt deserve to be typed out) , she’s very cautious of who to trust

thankfully, ringo, akemi, and taigan (as much of an ass as he is) has taught her to open up and be okay with who she is

but there are days when she prefers to be alone and sticking to her own business in peace and quiet

headphones on locked in 🎧

modern!mizu likes to wind down before bed with some chamomile or lavender tea

her temper used to control her feelings, especially when she was much younger

having a small routine at night keeps her calm & well rested

eiji initially started this routine after their long days of welding in the backyard

she can’t cook but give her a teapot and tea leaves, she will make it right

(ok im done imagining her life lets get to the good stuff)

modern!mizu loves little touches

whether it’s holding u by ur hand or shoulder or waist, her hand will always be there

her main love language is physical touch

the more comfortable she gets with u, the longer she’ll leave her hand on u

whenever u and her are out at a party or gathering, u implemented the secret squeeze if either one of u wants to get out

u haven’t used it before but mizu did a few times

it was when she just wanted to be closer to u in the comfort of her own bed

modern!mizu enjoys shopping w u

she kind of knows her style: comfy and light

but she never explored how to pair clothes together until u showed her some basic pairing

when she first met akemi, she was uncomfortable with more feminine styles and shopping for going-out tops with her

it mainly stems from just not knowing a lot of trends and seeing a wide range of items

she got accustomed the items but seeing u have fun trying new tops

totally not sneaking into the changing room and stealing a few kisses many kisses

modern!mizu also enjoys holding ur things for u

she won’t say it explicitly but she is silently expressive ab it

u need someone to hold ur drink while u fix ur shoes? she got it. need someone to hold ur bag while u go to the bathroom? she got it.

need someone to get a glass of water even though ur all comfy in bed? she will get it (for a price aka some extra cuddles & kisses)

she’s also the type of put ur hand behind ur back when ur in a crowd

Sorry if this is kind of a bother but frankly I'm genuinely quite curious what your thoughts are on Yesod, or like, personal hcs and such! ( Mostly curious since some of your other posts with Verg were very silly! And frankly it's just nice to hear ppl rant abt their fav characters n such )

headcanons:

-transmasc he/they. super gay also

-can say fuck. chooses not to.

-he’d probably tug at his clothes when he’s nervous (gloves, turtleneck, tie)

-malkuth is his friend! (and taller than him i decide the heights now)

-ROLAND IS HIS FRIEND

-he seems to like moons (moon the the bottom of the department in lob corp, in his ruina symbol, you can see a moon from his platform)

-(based on the moon thing) likes astronomy :)

EDIT: i have learned that in actual kabbalah yesod is known to be the sephirah of lunar consciousness so i think that connection to his character is really cool

-takes good care of his hair it would be silky and sofd <3

-if he ever had long hair he’d put it in a ponytail (turned out to be true: see beta designs in the artbook)

-lob corp yesod would have to wear long gloves if he was ever forced to wear short sleeved shirts

-gets cold easier than others (i know he was a Cube so he wasn’t actually wearing them but a turtleneck under a suit?? if he doesn’t get cold easily he’d be melting :( if it were sleeveless it’d be a bit better but still)

-the sephirot robot forms only have one eye. yesods was on the left. his bangs in ruina are on the right. most of his hair minus the bangs look pretty much the same length so this implies he grew his bangs out on purpose. what if he couldn’t get used to having two again. also he has no depth perception

-got that high intelligence low wisdom. can recite 60 digits of pi but doesn’t know what a handshake is

-what if he has fangs. like a v. like a vip. like a vi

-he likes shiny things...like an crow....give him a coin......

-wakes up at the asscrack of dawn

-malkuth and yesod are siblings because i like them. this also makes elijah and gabriel’s deaths more sad

-yesod can do hair, he learned how to braid because elijah liked having their hair braided when they were younger

-if he were a snake he’d be a mangrove pit viper or lavender albino king snake i think

-he likes looking out the big tech sciences window to relax

-has a lot of scars across his body from scratching, i personally think he should’ve had his hand scars in ruina

-good with computers but complete shit at video games. he’d know the Lore to games he likes but absolutely cannot play them.

-he seems like he’d get really flustered if you showed him any sort of affection, ESPECIALLY in public. hug him and he short circuits and dies

-if you ever managed to befriend him he seems kinda calming to be around when he’s not pissy. kinda guy you’d sit out in the balcony with in the middle of the night when you can’t sleep in a comfortable silence. might show you constellations if you wanted

-covers his face when he blushes

-would get super red when he’s embarrassed, tries to avoid people and hides away in his office

-touch starved but can’t ask for affection to save his life

-i think he’d show affection with little things yk. puts a blanket on you when you pass out on your desk. he’d probably try to cover it up with professionalism though. like “i noticed you haven’t eaten, think about how that’ll affect your work performance” instead of “eat something i’m worried about you”

-might also just sit near or lean on you

-if he likes you enough he’d be softer and more forgiving

-i personally tend to assign my character fixations flowers for some reason,,,he gets hyssops :) hydrangeas and lavender also make me think about he

jumbled thoughts:

part of the reason i like him so much is because i tend to have a thing for cold/stoic characters who are soft on the inside. yesod is only cold and sharp-tongued because he needs to be in order to succeed in lob corps environment. he doesn’t want to get attached to people. he cares so much that he couldn’t allow himself to feel anything at all, esp in an environment where he’s trying so fucking hard to reduce deaths by setting rules and keeping order but people die every day regardless. not only that, but his job was to destroy information that could potentially save those same people. he gets MAD if you let his employees die because he cares about them.

i also used to try and spread my rolsod agenda all the time, i think their relationship is fun

oh yeah and he’s totally OCD-coded. one thing i’ve always liked about projmoon media is how great their representation of mental illness is. both because it feels very accurate and real and a lot of horror media will just drop in a mentally ill person and go “ooo scary mentally ill person being scary bc they’re mentally ill oooo” but the horror aspect in lob corp is focused more on the horrible things that caused him to act that way. he became obsessed with rules and safety because elijah broke the rules and tested the cogito on herself, leading to her slow and painful death.

just a couple things i find cute about him:

-i know the viper nickname is supposed to be threatening but i think snakes are cute and so is he

Fire is with both Sand and Raven while they are just friends.

Raven went to twolegplace instead of the barn (he’s with Princess)

It’s mostly canon complicit but with Fire falling in love with Ravenpaw alongside Sandstorm although a little quicker.

Firestar names Raven Ravenflight.

Fire calls Raven his little birdie and makes flower crowns for him and Sandstorm.

Raven is just nervous dad with Squirrelkit and Leafkit “pls come get them Sand”

Firestar lives up to his name and is the middle spoon. No debate since neither Raven or Sand radiate heat that well. However, when Ravenflight gets nightmares about Tigerstar, he’s immediately put in the middle.

Firestar names Squirrelpaw Squirrelflight and Ravenflight is just in tears while Squif calms him down.

All three of them go on night hunts. Just time away from the clan and responsibilities.

Okay I love FireRaven a lot but add Sand in there? Even better. All their designs I just made up on the spot lol (well Raven I have a concept for but not a finished ref).

Let me get the ID out then I’ll put all my au thoughts on how’d this work under a cut bc I have A LOT of ideas.

(ID- Sandstorm is a long pale brown cat with golden brown down her back, ears, under her eye in a tear like stripe, and on her paws in stripes. She has darker brown on her tail, stripes across her back, hair tuft, paws, and under her eye. Cream is on the back of her legs, belly and muzzle. She is laying across the top around Firestar and Ravenflight. Firestar is on the left and is a fluffy round orange cat with red on his back end, ears, ear tufts, face in stripes and freckles, and paws. Darker orange is on his tail end, hair floof, and nose. Yellow on his belly, ear tips, inner ear fur, chin, and paws. He is laying against Raven, holding him with a smile and his tail wrapping around them. Ravenflight is on the right and is small, curling into Firestar with a small tear in their eye and tail end curling around his back. They are dark gray, purple tinted, with light lavender across the right side of their face in a wing like marking, back of his front leg, paw, on their back in a wing like marking, and in a smaller wing marking under their left eye. A darker black is on his back end, under their right eye in a matching wing pattern and ears. They have large round ears. The faint signature “Nightly Ruse” is in the top right. End ID)

Okay onto the au of how this would work. Instead of Raven running to the twoleg place (tho I think that’s cute esp if he’s who raises Cloud as a parting thing for them as he goes back to the clans) he still goes to the barn. There they are taken in by Barley who helps them discover themselves, help deal with his anxiety, work through his trauma, and discover themselves. This is where they find that they are not only non-binary using he/they but gay and ace. Both him and Barley go back to TC just before the battle where they fight. I like the idea of Raven actually helping a lot of cats from other clans bc he’s gotten out of the clans mindset of hate against everyone else.

When the battle is happening their who sees Firestar crumple to Scourge and they launch out to defend his body, hoping Fire didn’t get the same fate as Tigerstar. I kinda like the idea of instead of Scourge being some half brother of Firestar he’s instead Raven’s brother? Like as a young kit Raven got lost and was found by a kinder cat, taken in by TC but when Tiny tried to find its brother they were instead attacked by Tigerclaw (I’d push back the timeline a bit so Tiger is now a warrior when this happens and instead Blue sees Thistleclaw inside the warriors since Thistle might’ve just died around this time.)

Scourge cracks slightly as it sees their sibling again. Like a reflection of themselves. And Raven stares forward confused as he feels the slightest connection to the blood stained cat before them. “Tiny?” They whisper in a voice barley hearable over the screeches around them. Scourge feels a chill run down it’s body as they remember the whole it felt after their sibling was gone, then to be attacked when it went to find them. Both just stare at each other as they try to process what to do, they can’t attack the other, and so much is happening. Firestar then would pull himself from the floor as his wound seals back together, a new passion in his eyes to defeat the opponent. Just to stop. He’s looking between his best friend and the cat who just murdered him and he can barley tell the difference from just their coats.

I think the battle would end and instead of Fire defeating Scourge they’d call peace. I always loved Bloodclan/Skyclan au’s so I think maybe Bloodclan would either merge with them or take their spot. (Also the idea of Scourge and Squilf resembling each other while Leafstar and Leafpool resemble eachother could be interesting. Like mirrors of the new way as Skyclan comes back. Idk haven’t thought that far)

As the clans are reforming and recovering Firestar, Ravenflight, Sandstorm, and Scourge are sent on a quest to find the missing group of cats. They find the remains of Skyclan though they’d be a actual clan who’s adapted over time to live in their environment, daylight warriors still apart of them. The leader there is cruel though, slowly pushing Skyclan to its breaking point. The group saves them and Scourge would take out the leaders last life, dying there as well at the top of the gorge bathed in the sun’s fiery first light. Leafstar takes up the mantle of Skyclan’s leader and decides they just honor the new time that is before them and rejoin the clans. Fire has his kits at the gorge before they leave and names them Squirrelkit and Leafkit, noticing the markings on his fluffy kit. Her fur as red as the rock and sunrise where she was born but with a paw white like lightning, a paw he knew would bring a new time just as the cat before her had.

This would make it so during PO3 Skyclan would be there. I think Fire, Raven and Sand left before Skyclan did so that Skyclan would be found during TNP by the traveling crew. They’d come over the crest of the rolling hills as the sky turns scarlet when the sun sets, as if the sun marked each great event in their journey.

Onto the actual SandFireRaven relationship tho they are t4t4t as they are all trans, Sand using she/her, Fire using he/him, and Raven using he/they. Sand is demiromantic and bi, Fire is bi poly, and Raven is gay ace. I love Raven and Sand loving Fire and then just being super close friends with one another.

Actually I always liked the idea of Sand and Raven being friends before Fire joined. But as both each other’s situations worsened, and Raven fled they grew apart. When he came back they apologized to each other and become close again. Both are early wakers and always go on Dawn patrol together, Fire is a heavy sleeper and only wakes up when he has to. Sand and Raven conspired together to both ask out Fire and he accepted both!

Ravenflight definitely became a sappy mess when Squirrel was named Squirrelflight. They just started sobbing out of a overload of happiness and shock. The whole family cuddling them as he hugged their daughters. Having learned from Barley I think Raven also helped Sand through a lot of her mental health crises. I hc her as being RunningRed kit so both her parents dying to a cat she looked up to, her best friend leaving her, the whole great battle trauma, and then losing Graystripe to two legs. Like girls been through a lot. I always think of she as a very emotional character to but where she shoves it down until she just explodes and blames herself for everything. Raven and Fire help her learn to talk through her problems and emotions.

Of their cuddling situation I disagree slightly. Sand to me is not a cat who likes to be touched very much unless she touches another first, and i could see her naturally running hotter then her partners so she curls on the outside, often rolling away when she gets a little too hot. Fire is a big fluffy guy so he loves to both cuddle and be cuddled. Raven either curls around him or on particularly hard days they have Fire hold them. They def love to be cuddled especially by Fire bc he’s so freaking fluffy and soft so I think most often Fire holds him, and Sand curls around Fire. When the kits were little Raven and Fire would make a wall around the two munchkins and Sand would sleep right near the entrance to both protect her kits but also since she’s not a particular fan of lots of touching.

So long sorry I just have so many ideas about all three characters especially when paired together. Raven and Scourge as siblings is my favorite tho I had to include it (always disliked Fire and Scourge being related it made so impact and was unimportant to me)

MIDORIYA IZUKU—

mans would be blushing so intensely, someone help him, it’s a ripe watermelon. idek why i’m flaming him here at the very first sentence idek, i adore this boy, i do. anyways— it’s rare to have your boyfriend at home, always on patrol and working himself to the absolute limit. but when he spends an entire day to unwind, he unwinds. most of the time it’s just catching on sleep. you always try your best to make sure his sleep is content and maxed, making sure the covers are as floofy as they can be, calm lavender and mint scents diffuser in the room.

it was a sunday, and sundays are spent doing a lot of errands on your part, weekly grocery as one of the most important one. so you finish dressing up, picking the sundress you bought for this spring in a nice deep emerald with soft daisy patterns, wanting to look cute for the grocery store (as one does). your very first thought was how pretty it was, thinking immediately of your boyfriend and his bright green hair. you hitch up your hair with a clip, take your things, and gently pad over to your boyfriend snoring on the bed, on his stomach and to wake him up slowly.

“hon? i’m going to the grocery for a bit, d’you want anything?”

“mhm.” his eyes blink blearily, thick and almost sewn shut together. you sit on the side of the bed, smiling as you continue to run your fingers across his scalp. his groans are soft and content as he pulls back, smiling at you. “g’morning. you look nice, babe.” his eyes roam across your figure, his hand reaching across your waist and moulding the material of your dress between his fingers. 

“thank you, but it’s afternoon actually. just about to go on a grocery run and i was going to ask what you wanted?”

“i’m coming!” he sits upright, so suddenly that vertigo rushed in and knocked him back down with a little oomph.

“whoa there, i don’t think you are, cowboy. you have to rest, it’s your day off.”

“nah, gotta challenge everyone who gives you eyes.” you made a face at him, but he’s already sitting back up and stretching deep, groaning at every sore muscle; his bright skin roughened through years of being a hero, littered with scars that you love kissing.

“you’re silly.”

he smiles, warm and blooming as he reaches over and kisses your forehead, softly rubbing your cheek with the pad of his thumb. “i’m in love, darling. and you’re too much of a catch for other people not think not to, and you’re too nice to tell them to fuck off.” his eyes turn mischievous. “also— i think i’m a really cute arm candy, hm?”

“you just want to show off my dress is the same colour as your hair!” you shout after him, entering the bathroom.

“of course!”

BAKUGO KATSUKI—

bakugo katsuki, top-tier number two hero, has promptly malfunctioned. 

he’s been impatiently waiting for you by the car as you finished dressing up after saying ‘in a minute, calm your horses!’ in the last hour... until you came out of the house, scowl on your pretty face as you made sure the house was secure, and fixed your shoes on properly, scrambling to get to the car.

“you need to learn some fuckin’ patience— hey, why’re you cutting the engine off?” you ask as you finish buckling yourself up, adjusting your dress that hitched up from the entire struggle.

“we’re not going,” he grumbled, knuckles tight against the steering wheel.

you raised an eyebrow. “what do you mean, we’re not going? did you finally exploded the rest of your brain cells?” his jaw tightens but does nothing. you roll your eyes. “your mother’s waiting for us and she has as much patience as you. although, she does adore me, i don’t want her to smack you in the head as much as possible. your poor brain cells.”

he meets your gaze head on. “you’re being a brat.”

“i am not. why? ‘ya liking what you’re seeing?” you smirk, adjusting your seat, more than aware of his eyes unable to not flicker back to the dress you’re wearing. its a light yellowish cream with bright red camellia blossoms across crumpled hems with a thigh slit. you adjust your top, making his eyes dart to the tops of your breasts, right where a necklace he had gotten for you on a whim, a simple one with a k and a small ruby embedded on it.

he growls. “get back in.”

“katsu, really, you—”

but he grasped your face and moulded his lips to yours. it’s hot and wet, and you melt into his touch. he smirked at your dopey face as you broke from each other. “inside, baby. think we should put that dress to good use, hm?”

“oh, but i really like it,” you muttered. “it’s your colours after all.”

his eyes darkened. “we don’t have to take it off.” his thumb made slow circles on your sides, nose brushing against your ear. “i’ll be extra careful.”

SHOJI MEZO—

your boyfriend was so sweet, turning into a tomato as soon as he sees you come out from the train station. you don’t see him just yet, your eyes checking your phone, typing him a text, so he has a good few minutes to stare at you in what possibly be the prettiest outfit he’s ever seen you in. the dress flutters ever so briefly, cinched across the waist and featured white angels across lavender.

with one hand, he took a quick photo, reminding himself to put it as a wallpaper later, as he waved his hand as soon as your eyes come across the area he was in.

you wait in the crosswalk impatiently, half bouncing in your heels until the light turned green and he burst out laughing as you practically skipped towards him, shouting, “brace yourself, 'zo!” as you completely leaped into his arms, tying yourself like cherry knots around him as he caught you with an oomph! and a laugh. he spun you once, twice, until both of you are a giggling and pedestrian-annoying mess.

“alright, alright, that’s enough.” you patted him in the shoulder to get you down, but not before taking his primary hands to brace yourself to your toes, and give him a noisy smooch just to see his face burn bright red. you giggled at it. “ain’t you a pretty picture?”

he took your hand in his, admiring you in your dress and the love you were basking him in. “you’re prettier, sweetheart,” he said shyly. “the prettiest picture.”

“mmh. take lots of me later, m’kay?”

“always.” and that wasn’t a lie. you were mezo’s favourite subject, always the prettiest under his gaze.

KIRISHIMA EIJIRO—

the low whistle that your lover released brings the exact same colour of burgundy red to your cheeks, flushing at his appraisal as you try not to fidget or throw something at him. anything to hide under that appreciative, almost half hungry look.

“where are you going looking like that?” he blinked, his grin frozen. “are we— oh, shit is it our anniversary? is it your birthday? but your birthday’s not for another month, and the necklace i ordered isn’t going to arrive until—” he slapped a hand on his mouth as you smirked at him. “you heard nothing.”

you rolled your eyes at him as you sat next to him on the couch, his hands fast, pulling you to his lap before your butt could touch the fake leather, nestling you in his arms and hiding on the crook of your neck. you shivered at every rumbly hum that came out of him, leaving a trail of goosebumps across your skin.

“you’re so silly, ‘jiro.” you sigh, bringing your hand to pat his head and curl your fingers through his hair. “your hair’s almost fading. i was just going to hit the pharmacy after my lunch with the girls.”

“are you trying to one up one of ‘em? or all of ‘em?”

“no! why?”

“‘cos you’re going to make them feel bad lookin’ like this.” he smirks as he presses a particularly spongy kiss on your shoulder. you bat him away, tsking as he captures your hand and intertwines it with his on your lap.

“let me rephrase. you’re not silly, you’re stupid.”

“and you’re too pretty in my colours.” he kissed your neck, lightly sucking.

“stop that! if you leave a hickey, i swear.”

“alright, alright.” he releases you as you huff at him, crimson and flushed red, you re-adjusted your dress. he can’t stop looking at how nice you look in it. it really was his colours with the repeating patterns of black lillies and lighter shades of spider lilies. “take lots of pictures for me, will you? i’ll give you my card, order anything you girls want.”

You couldn’t help but slam your head against your desk. Ennoshita sighed at your predicament when it came to the crush you had on your upperclassman, Sugawara Koushi. Except, to you he was so much more. Not in just the fact that he was your crush but he’s been someone you’ve known for almost your entire life. 

“What if he doesn’t like me, Ennoshita,” you cried into your arms, not able to take the heartbreak that could come with Sugawara rejecting your feelings and your 10+ year friendship turning to dogshit. 

Ennoshita tapped his fingers against the desk, “I don’t think he’d break off your friendship just like that even if he didn’t. And if he doesn’t like you I personally give you permission to murder myself and-or Tanaka, your choice.” 

In a different class at the time, Tanaka sneezed in the middle of eating his sandwich. 

At this point, Ennoshita, and every other club member, was tired. Even Sugawara would shrug when Daichi asked him in the clubroom what was going on between him and you. Asahi, the one who was possibly the most oblivious when it came to people pining for another, was even frustrated at how the two of you would dance around each other. 

“Why don’t you just ask them out?” Asahi asked Sugawara. In the middle of changing, Sugawara stopped in thought, his shirt barely on. 

“Hmm, I don’t want to ask them before they’re ready,” Sugawara answered simply, sliding his shirt on over his head. 

It was a rough life being friends with both you and Sugawara. 

It was sort of sweet though, no? The fact that Sugawara wanted to wait till you were ready. He knew about your anxieties when it came to relationships. It wasn’t that your past relationships were bad, per se, but rather any time you’d enter one the anxieties just came through. Sometimes it’d be insecurities or suddenly the red flags would pop up. It was as if entering the relationship made you realize how much of a terrible person the other was. 

You didn’t want that for Koushi. So he’d wait, wait till you’re comfortable to talk things out. But he will admit that it is maybe a little frustrating some days. 

Especially, especially, the days when you’re closer than usually. Physically. Emotionally.

Some days you’d find yourself lying in Koushi’s bed after finishing a bit of homework. He’d be sitting on the floor at the table, still working the last few problems. You’d both have a small conversation, something to fill the room while he finished up. Then he’d crawl into bed, next to you. 

“Just like when we were kids, right?” He’d grin at you, and you couldn’t help the way you felt your cheeks heat up. 

“Yeah, just like when we were kids,” you’d reply and reach out for his hands, shifting to lay on your side. Koushi doing the same and inching even closer to you. He’d bring your hands up to chest level, playing with your fingers just like he’d do when the two of you were younger. 

And then the two of you would fall asleep. His arm draped over your waist, pulling you close into his chest with your legs tangled with his. 

You always fell asleep last, always so anxious about the whole ordeal. It’s different sleeping and cuddling together when you’re older compared to when you were both younger. 

When you were younger it was just platonic feelings. And now that you’re both older and know about romantic feelings, well, something bloomed between the two of you. 

Before you’d fall asleep you’d stare up at his soft face, your fingers slightly hovering over his face and especially over the beauty mark that you loved so much. He was no longer embarrassed about it like he used to be (because of you and your adoration for it). Then your hand would return back to resting on his chest and you’d nuzzle your head into him as well. 

Koushi’s breathing always soothed you; it was deep and heavy. Always peaceful as you watched his chest rise and fall. You nuzzled your face into him even deeper if it was possible, your fingers lightly tapping against his sturdy chest. 

He smelled a bit like lavender. It was subtle, sweet and calming. There were a few other scents too but they weren’t overbearing and never quite lingered in your nose like the lavender scent. And whenever you think about him, you just think of Koushi’s lavender scent as well as how he smelled like home. 

Home. 

Yeah, being with him felt like home. Even when—no—especially when your own home didn’t feel like home. You felt comfortable with him, like it was you and him versus the world. This felt natural, normal. 

The lingering glances, the subtle touches. 

I think it was safe to say that you’re in love. You felt stupid for saying so, even thinking so. You are in high school, barely seventeen as a second year. People would always cringe when high schoolers said they were in love. 

But no one can invalidate your feelings. Only you knew what you felt and no one could say otherwise. 

You’re in love with Sugawara Koushi and it didn’t scare you. 

You’re in love with Sugawara Koushi and it comforted you. 

You knew him better than you knew yourself and you were sure he felt the same about you, knowing you well, I mean. You still weren’t sure if he returned your feelings. 

That’s how you found yourself outside his house, standing in front of him. Sugawara stared at you, head tilted with confusion since usually the two of you would just head in to get started on homework. 

“What’s wrong?” he asked, his hand reaching for yours. He called out for you again, your name gracing his lips. His thumb rubbed small circles on the back of your hand and you looked down off to the side, scared and unsure. 

“I-uhm,” your heart felt like it was going to leap out of your throat. Speaking was hard, and god you don’t think you could stare up at him while you confessed your feelings. 

Rip it off like a bandaid. Just rip it off like a bandaid. Just. Rip it off! LIKE A—

With closed eyes and your hand clasping around his, you stuttered out, “I-I-uh-I really like you Koushi! It’s-It’s fine if you don’t, y’know, feel the same. I just-I just had to tell you.” 

You pursed your lips and the small caresses on the back of your hand stopped. Good thing you planned to do this before entering into his house. Now you could just book it home. But then he laughed and his hand holding yours tightened back before you could run off; as if he knew you were going to do so. 

You just confessed to Sugawara Koushi and he’s laughing. You felt like crying, honestly. 

But Koushi was laughing because he was relieved. Relieved that he didn’t have to hold back anymore, that he no longer had to wait. Koushi had wanted you to make the first move because he already knew you liked him. He just wanted you to feel comfortable enough with your feelings before anything else happened. 

All of the soft touches, the cuddling, the approaching you from behind and hugging you as you do manager work, Koushi let happen naturally. Because they were natural. It’s not like you didn’t do it back. 

Whenever he’d be on break, drinking water he’d find your arms wrapped around his torso no matter how sweaty he was. Or on bus rides to practice matches or to the Sendai gym for games the two of you would sit next to each other and one of you would always fall asleep with your head resting against the other’s shoulder. 

And you know, maybe Koushi was partially laughing at the fact that you couldn’t tell he likes you back. He thought it was obvious at least. 

“Wh-what are you laughing about Koushi!” You pouted, tears slightly gathering at the corner of your eyes out of anxiety and fear of rejection. 

“No, no, nothing bad, you’re so cute,” he sighed out, a smile apparent on his face as he took a step closer to you. “It’s just that-” he gestures with his free hand back and forth between you and himself “-I thought you knew I liked you. Because I knew you liked me. And with how we’ve been cuddling and—”

“Ah!” You shouted, lightly hitting his chest with your free hand. He let out an ‘oof’ before you placed your head against his chest out of embarrassment. You felt his chest reverberate as he laughed, his other hand coming up to rest on the top of your head, his fingers drawing soothing circles on your scalp. 

“Why didn’t you tell me?” you asked, your voice muffled against his chest. Koushi sighed, the corners of his lips tugging upwards. 

“I thought we already were, y’know, together? I just wasn’t too sure,” Koushi replied. “I didn’t want to make you uncomfortable either. Wanted to wait till you were comfortable.”

“What if I never was?”

“I’d wait forever then.” 

You huffed against his chest, wrapping your other arm around him, the hand holding his tightening. Koushi set his arm around your back, pulling you in closer as he turned to place his cheek against your head. 

“You’re cheesy, Kou.” y

“Only for you.” He turned his head to kiss the crown of yours before laying his cheek against you once more. “Now let’s go inside, get some homework done and cuddle some more.”

“I hate you.” 

Koushi hummed, being the first to pull away, holding your hand tightly to walk towards his house, “Whatever you say. I know you don’t.”

     well hey there !! im ez but you fellow dallyeogers can call me ezzy, i have been in dallyeog before so some may remember me as having someone v different to my new bb i bring u now, i joined before with miss tam carmen !! anygays i return with this lil angel who i am all ‘ i say that’s my baby and i’m proud ’ over already even tho i literally came up with him like two days ago. you can find his pinboard here ( which btw i fuckeN love like he’s so aesthetic to me u go king ) and i made him a lil playlist which u can vibe to here. you can learn more about him under the cut but he’s a super soft-hearted gentle dove of a muse and quite...simple for me ?? sdhdh that’s not the right wording but U GET IT djjflg he isn’t super full of angst or trauma he’s just kinda viBIN livin his best life so that’s fun !! but ye without further ado: 

so as u kno from his app he owns a patisserie, it’s his lil babey and he is very dedicated to his craft and makin sure all his ideas for the place and the baked goods he sells are like rlly quirky and avant-garde. like he is so passionate about it u dont even KNOW, he tries to make sure most of the stuff on his menu is something like fun and new u wouldn’t get at just any old patisserie or cafe and that it’s super varied and also kinda aesthetic af? the place is very like trendy. it’s called patisserie d’elysian cause ya know he’s an extra biTCHH and proud.

he has three pupperino’s. all as adorable as each other, snickerdoodle is his golden lab and often ppl shorten it down to snickers, butterscotch is his dapple daschund pup, shortens the name to scotchie often. toulouse is his fancy toy poodle boi, shortens the name down as toto. if u are on the shortened name basis with his pups then u can consider urself one of his close pals. 

he’s actually adopted by his aunt but she raised him like she was his mother so that is what he considers her, she’s on his mother’s side but they are half-siblings. in terms of first name reasoning as well she just liked eunha as a name and didn’t even think about how it is traditionally for a female, she liked that it meant gift from heaven so it stuck. his father is still around, he’s just quite elderly so it felt like a better living situation for him to be raised primarily by his auntie. unfortunately his mother has passed on but no tragic story, she just went peacefully in old age. 

he dyes his hair quite often, it’s currently like a really pastel blue with black streaks consistently throughout like lil ones so it looks super cool. but he’s also had it be a more electric blue, lilac, and a duck egg kinda faded silvery blue. it’s naturally dark brunette. has brown eyes kind of a hazel hue. 

his style is kinda androgynous ig?? he just lives for soft retro fashion, lots of color in his wardrobe but also lots of tapered short and t-shirt fits frequented, sweater vests, rolled up jeans, high skater boi socks, soft jumpers with shirts, shirts in bright colours or satiny texture worn over plain white t-shirts, cardigans, pastel denim jackets, jeans with printed patterns on like clouds, flowers etc, favors yellow and blues. sometimes does eye makeup, occasionally wears heels bc he’s a baddie or super heeled boots/chunky shoes. 

obsessed with music, can play violin and guitar. he’s a big mitski and rina sawayama fanatic, likes anything that sounds peaceful or calming or has like a good fun vibe to it. also likes the trademark gay icons like carly rae jepsen, lorde, etc. he’s not ashamed. obsessed with mamma mia movies. but also likes rap which is rlly funny cause its like the bad bitch female rappers only and like he’ll listen to it while arranging his sock drawer or making his bed or something ajdjdj it’s like hype anthems for being a baddie and a hoe and he’s just doing his night sleepy routine adkfkf. 

showers, blankets, music, baked goods especially bagels are his happy places. 

very much a sensitive lil romanticist, falls in ‘love’ like five times a day, he just likes to giggle and smile around pretty people and admire the artwork hnghdh, he’s like yeARNS though ya know?? like he’s all i will flirt by making prolonged eye contact, i made you a playlist, this song makes me think of you etc. it’s either memes as flirting with him or elaborate love letters u never know what ur gonna get akdkd. 

awful sense of humour, loves his friends more than anything on earth except his pups, would fully live in a huge house of just like his pups and all his closest buds for all eternity. likes fruits way too much, enjoys puns about fruits way too much. milkshakes, sushi, orange hues and bus rides are some of his absolute favorite simple pleasures of life. clouds, flowers, salt lamps, the sunrise over the sea, skateboarding, fresh soda, teddy bears, busy street markets, parasols, fish tanks with exotic fish, sorbet, bike riding, polaroids, record players, rain at night against floor to ceiling windows with a fresh steaming pot of tea on the desk beside it and warm fresh sheets from the laundry on his bed, ponds, skateboarding. all little joys in life that give him like the biggest pleasure dopamine hit in the world. 

his cousin actually owns a florists so he has flowers just littering his apartment like a lot and it just looks like he has ten million suitors from the late eighteenth century attempting to court him but no all these flowers are from him to him or worse from his aunt djfjg she sends him some for valentines every valentines, pls help him, pls send him flowers. 

studies nutritional science and he fucken hates it. do not ask him shit cause he doesn’t KNOW OKAY? he doesn’t understand it either. he took it because he needed something to go alongside the passion for baking that was a real ‘qualification’/job so that is the only reason he’s doing it. no point doing a baking degree after all when he’s already a baker with a business, he’s super young still he gotta keep his prospects open. so YAH. he’d rather be doing culinary arts but eh. nutritional science sounded better and more logic based. the real miracle is he still gets top grades all the time even tho he spends his life like wtf am i even doing is this even legit akdkdk. school is the worst thing in the world for him watch his mood instantly deflate the second its brought up. 

despite being a quixotic, he’s a lil afraid of intimacy. like oh god does he love it, those small touches and acts of affection u kno? the subtle things that normally go unnoticed, eye contact, brushing of hands, linking of little fingers, rubbing a thumb, kissing eyelids or foreheads or palms or shoulders in little gentle pecks, back massages and rubs or finger tracing patterns absent-minded, shoulder massages, laying your head on someone’s shoulder or on their lap, knocking knees together, exchanging a small glance only the two of you get before bursting into laughter, smiling into kisses, napping together, having blankets placed over you warm and fresh, or towels put ready like it, someone making you something they know you like a lot. that’s his sHIT. but like he’s terrified still, someone skimming their fingers on his skin makes his breath hitch like he’s a scandalized and alarmingly aroused victorian woman sjdjd. he’s literally still a virgin, he hasn’t even had his first kiss okay my baby is delicate be gentle with him akdkd but he still LIKES PASSION AIGHT kfkf. 

real soft spoken, honey tinted voice like i shit u not this boy talks like he’s an angel sent from heavens above to guide you to the paradisaical garden of eden or some shit akdkd. ur gonna fall in love with eunha’s voice before u even fall in love with any other part of him like his adorable beaming smile or stunning eyes akdkf. 

has dance parties around his room when getting ready in the morning, listens to bella’s lullaby unironically yes from twilight yes u heard right, bit of a himbo streak sometimes in his obliviousness djfjf. quite silently subtly funny actually much like jacob himself. 

he is gay, afraid of driving, cannot do math, blanks out often and he is valid for all of those things. has a collection of cartoon and disney animal movie dvds. has a dream notebook. always has blue painted nails in some kinda shade. 

does not enjoy turning in assignments bc he is scared he’ll fail, avoids looking at his grades for weeks after they’re released and hates knowing that they’re out. 

cannot dance, dances often. collects vintage stuff esp clothes and mostly sweaters. likes midnight trips to corner stores and fields where he can just lay and look at the stars. makes friends rlly easily but has super bad performance anxiety. cannot ever have a messy room like even the tiniest bit messy. even like clothes being stacked on a chair instead of away. 

bakes peanut butter, banana and choc chip muffins (they r called monkey bites normally) whenever he’s super stressed. if u want to cheer him up when he’s anxious or stressed then u should give him french lavender honey, chia seeds and caramelized pear on toast/bagel. it is his comfort food. he fancii when he needs a pick me up. treat urself and all that.

these are focused around azra and his amazing meet cute with anthony but if you want more… i am Much Obliged

also this is really long i have a lot of feelings about this

azra’s tattoo parlor is the coziest building you’ve ever been in. it’s kind of a hot mess (sketches scattered on most available surfaces, papers tacked to the walls, very well-loved and slightly mismatched furniture, etc) but it’s such an organized mess that everyone that walks in feels right at home

i really like the idea of azra kickboxing for some reason so!! thats a thing now. he’s a thick bitch but he’s really muscular (esp in the thighs/core/shoulders). this combined with him being very warm all of the time equals unmatched hugs.

he knows that some of his clients get kind of nervous when he brings the needles out or when their tattoos start stinging a lot so he burns some really subtle bergamot and lavender incense in the backroom to calm their nerves a bit (also because it smells nice)

azra also does piercings!! in fact, he has a few himself (not all in his ears 👀)

he really likes how significant tattoos are, both for himself and his clients, but this leads to him being SO INDECISIVE about getting them for himself. he only has two, those being the quill and ink on his forearm and the quote on the inside of his wrist

i lost my mind when i found that quote how could i not put that on him

azra doesn’t take on new clients very frequently because he focuses more on building relationships with his existing clientele and putting the most effort he can into his pieces

he can’t be blamed for not immediately turning away a plant-headed idiot that stumbled into his shop and requested that azra design his first tattoo (and tracked in dirt, but that’s neither here nor there. its not like azra noticed)

he ESPECIALLY cant be blamed for immediately losing all command on the english language when faced with this tall, handsome stranger with stupid sunglasses and a stubborn smear of dirt on his forehead

luckily he and this handsome stranger, who he later finds out does in fact have a name (surprise its anthony), both share the moment of “ohgodohfuckheshotandmysteriouswhatthefuckdoidogaypanicAAAH”, so neither of them can really call the other out for anything

queue an awkward, blushy, stuttery consultation during which azra can barely concentrate because this guy who doesn’t know how to sit in a chair or engage in small talk is actually really charming in his own roundabout way

he also won’t stop glancing down at azra while he’s bent over his sketchpad, which is very rude and distracting when you have eyes that seem to be such a gorgeous color but not-quite-normal at the same time

MEANWHILE anthony j “i am the coolest person to ever cool” crowley is so desperately trying to impress this cute guy that he just met while failing to understand why he wants to impress him so much

you have a crush on him anthony calm down

but he can’t calm down because azra has the cutest glasses and his hair looks so soft and he asked anthony about levi and looks so invested in what anthony has to say and oh his cologne smells so nice uh oh hes in love now

8. Do you collect anything? If so, what?

When I was young, I collected seashells!! Pre-pandemic I collected pins (esp Disney ones, bc you can trade them at the park). I used to collect Pokemon cards as well but with the big revival of collecting cards it’s too exhausting for me to fight other people for packs. 

9. What sounds or scents calm you down?

God I go feral (calmly) for the sound of pouring rain or roaring waves. Every time (pre-pandemic) we go on a cruise, I sit on the balcony of our room and just listen to the sea and write. 

For scents, the Bath and Body Works eucalyptus and tea stress relief stuff is my favorite thing ever. Comfort. I love lavender as well. And Vanilla. And almost anything with mahogany. 

Also the scent of my house/my mother’s cooking/her perfume. Big one. 

13. Do you prefer to write in pen or pencil?

Pencil bc I can’t think linearly and end up needing to erase things regularly as I write. 

21. What’s your favorite period in art history, your favorite famous work and/or your favorite style of art? If you don’t know any that’s ok!

I really like Hellenistic/Renaissance work in terms of sculpture, because I’m fascinated by sculpture work. I could not possibly choose for paintings, though. I don’t have a favorite style (I am equally fascinated by all), but I do have a special love for The Starry Night by Van Gogh.

i have a recurring one about being in a dinghy on a small sound and the water is so calm the surface is like glass. the sky is grey and heavy with clouds. im rowing, or drifting, to a point with a rocky shore, and when i get out, i walk into a beautiful forest(not quite boreal/taiga) and it’s warm and sunny and green. i walk to a stump, covered and surrounded by beautiful cushion moss, and i feel like someone very important to me is with me, but i dont know who.

sometimes there’s more to the dream, but often the other elements are stressful or upsetting, so. that much is really nice and calm though!

i guess a boy named ashton i saw during the summers for a few years. he and his family had a summer house up the street. i honestly cannot fathom why anyone would want to leave jamaica in the summer to stay in THAT neighbourhood, it was not a particularly special place imo. he was really nice to me though, and said i could call him my boyfriend. i think we kissed once or twice. his family was wonderful. i think the people who started staying in that house after they stopped going there were pretty rude, but my memory around that is kinda hazy. apparently i was so upset about his family not visiting any more that i keyed my name into the new peoples’ car? i got in trouble for it anyway.

yeah, i think so. i played alone a lot, but usually not with any imaginary friends. but i DID have a tiny pocket journal that i would write letters to my “friend in fance” in. his name was pierre i think. i dont remember writing his responses, and they were in completely different handwriting. even into high school i would sometimes write him a little note when i cleaned my room and found the book, out of nostalgia, and every time i found it, he’d written a reply. usually asking why it had been so long. i think he might have said some kinda creepy/wierd stuff, too. wonder what happened to that little book lmao. (it was a teeny tiny lisa frank notebook i think. with a little snap button clasp to close it.)

i kiss my husband a lot, but in a purely platonic way, uh. on the cheek, sure, plenty of times. on the lips, i think only once, and i was not comfortable with it at all.

mint and rosemary, for shampoo. in general, my fave scent is wood smoke. briney, salty, sea air is up there. and pine(especially balsam), cedar(technically cypress), juniper, sage, leather...........

uh, idk what’s considered distant honestly. im not really close to most of my bio family, in any sense tbh. maybe my cousin faith? we rarely talk and she lives in north carolina, but i think probably her somehow, lol (she’s my 1st cousin though, idk if that counts?)

i had to google the difference, but sanrio. they’re all cute though.

usually taro! i also like just plain, tart froyo, or pomegranate. i generally go for fruity flavours, aside from taro. it’s also one of the only times i’ll sometimes opt for coconut, esp if it’s paired with taro!

almost always. the genre DOES NOT MATTER. im less likely to cry watching horror/slasher/gore stuff (but im also less likely to watch those vs suspense thrillers/psychological horror anyway)

emily dickinson, i think. despite my love for simple rhyme and meter, i just love how evocative her writing is. each of her poems is so personal, but because of that, they’re pretty widely relatable, so it’s easy to resonate with them. 

im also very fond of frost and poe’s poetry(and poe’s writing in general, ofc)

honestly, this is making me want to just binge a ton of poetry by poets i havent read before. (if anyone wants to send me recs, PLEASE do.)
