Steve Rogers was one of the most feared men in New York. He cared about very few things. His reputation, his money and his business. There were even less people he cared about. His ma, his two best friends and his very small inner circle.

Early on in his adulthood Steve learned that love was a waste of time and a weakness. So when it came to love his heart was under lock and key. It’s why he preferred to sleep with whichever woman caught his eye and kick them out of his bed before they could worm their way into his heart. It worked enough to satisfy his physical needs but he couldn’t deny that something was missing.

That something missing came packaged in a maids uniform. Strong willed and unafraid to talk back to men who killed for a living, there was something about you that got Steve’s attention. It wasn't a secret Steve had slept with some of the other maids but you wouldn’t cave. That only made him want you in his bed more so that he could get you out of his system.

You had priorities, falling into your bosses arms was not one of them. This has been the only job that paid you enough and gave you health insurance. You needed that more than having one lousy night in bed with Steve.

Your life hasn't been exactly easy. You had your son at seventeen. Both your parents and your boyfriend turned their back on you. But your son was the best thing that had ever happened to you. Elijah was your sweet boy but when he turned seven he started to get sick. It was heartbreaking to see your baby get worse as time went on. A year later you’re drowning in medical bills with no answers and watching as your son’s life slipped through your fingers.

When Steve learns the truth of your situation he can’t help but step in. His own past reflected in your present. It’s the first crack in the ice around his heart. For Steve falling for you is scarier than going into a room guns blazing and out numbered. For you falling for Steve would mean trusting someone again.

Elijah’s life is on the line and everything you’d built with your own two hands begins to crumble around you. Steve is willing to do anything to see you happy but he fears it might not be enough. As much as you tried neither of you would ever be prepared for the hell you’d go through.

Currently watching

A Boss and a Babe - cute, easy to watch

Bed Friend - cute, easy to watch HA! who am I kidding. Despite the icky trauma I love this one. Let's hope it sticks the landing.

Chains of Heart - I was going to wait to watch this one (like Big Dragon) but I got SO DRAWN IN and now I'm obsessed.

The Eighth Sense - I knew a kbl would be gorgeously made but this one is knocking all other kbls out of the park. It's also stabbing me in the heart. But I love it.

Future - a little cringeworthy, a little slow, but it's light and easy.

The Promise - I have to watch this a week behind since I don't have a subscription hence I miss the analysis and discourse, which is needed because the characters' motivations can be frustrating. Plus colours!

UMG - I wish this could have had a midnight museum level of depth, even a 10 years ticket, but it's slapstick crack. Which doesn't make it bad per se but it's a little too light and throwaway whilst also trying to be sort of a character study. I also wish they had given the aliens a blurred focus because they're much less menacing when you can see it's just prosthetics and make-up.

3 Will Be Free - I started this a while ago but stalled mid-way through ep 3. I'll get back to it soon but I find Joss a bit wooden.

Our Skyy 2 - I might end up having to watch each ep later than everyone else (and thus hiding the tag for the whole series sadly) because Wed and Thurs evenings are the WORST time for me. But SO EXCITED!

Double Savage - I might also have to wait and binge this one later because it might be difficult to squeeze this in with all the above.

Older shows:

The Director who buys me Dinner - the eps are only short, so I could binge it at some point.

HIStory 5: Love in the Future - the ep lengths daunt me, so maybe I'll binge it during my next long break from work?

Big Dragon - not sure when I'll get round to this but it's been on my list since before Christmas.

Ai Long Nhai - this has also been on my list for a while, maybe too long now...

My love of Polla for constantly calling Ana out for this is epic. She is not gonna let him forget that he asked for the break and that taking a break means a break not just... whatever Ana seems to think a break is, apparently. I'm not sure about that.

And another call out! Seriously. Ana has the best friends because they won't hesitate to both be there for him and to remind him that he fucked up and needs to be the one to fix it.

But we can't forget Fuse's friends.

This guy is literally just @iguessitsjustme because this was an EXACT QUOTE from her before he even said it and it was glorious. Absolutely perfect. I love the ready to fight friend on his side and more.

And then ending on this just made me laugh because... why? Why would he blame you Ana? Really? Why? Just because you're the one who overrode all of Fuse's protestations and arguments and insisted on taking a break? It's almost like this is your fault and everyone but you (and maybe Fuse) gets that.

Ah, at least the boys will be all soft and lovey dovey and sweet next week. I do love these two friendship groups, though. @absolutebl Yep, continues to be the answer to Tossara in so, so many ways. Even if slightly more dramatic.

Hi Sab, I’m good I hope you’re doing well!

So I’m going to assume that this is for the future dad!Steve series.

I think the most important question is, is Honey the first girl he’s been with since Shield found him and the answer is yes. At separate times Nat and even mama Barnes have tried to set him up with someone but it’s never worked out and Steve doesn’t really like one night stands.

As to what he likes in bed for sure he likes to be in control. Pin his girl’s hands over her head and then take his time just to watch her squirm. He also likes having her face down ass up when he’s being rough because he likes to spank her ass and get a good grip on her hips as he slams into her over and over again. and he likes it rough so that he can get rid of all that extra super soldier energy he doesn’t know what to do with. Like our MLL Bucky he’s never had someone give him a BJ so that will be an experience for him! There’ll be more to come I’m sure!

S.H.I.E.L.D, short for the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, was an intelligence agency organized to protect the world from potential threats. With their advanced weaponry and skilled agents, they maintained both national and global security. For many years, it worked. What they didn't realize was that an organization bent on world domination, known as HYDRA, infiltrated and eventually controlled them.

Until it was too late.

The nation fell spectacularly after HYDRA made its move, ready to rebuild the world in their vision. A few of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top members tried to fight back, only to find that many of their allies were never on their side. The betrayal cut deep, adding an additional layer of pain to the trail of bodies and destruction.

From the ashes rose the new world order.

A sector that thrives on power and structure.

Those who stayed loyal to S.H.I.E.L.D. are now forced to serve their new leaders under cruel and harsh methods. Whether through violence or pleasure, entertainment or control, they do what they have to in order to survive. Their hope is that they'll one day be free. If they don't lose themselves along the way.
