Galleryyuhself - At Every Bottle Back we are committed to changing the reality of Trinidad and Tobago, collecting and recycling each plastic bottle correctly and we need your help to make this possible. In our pilot phase, we are collecting bottles in a specified area of Port of Spain. However, we have set a goal to expand to other parts of the island by 2023, and to reach a 20 percent bottle recycling rate by 2025. Be part of the change!

~Galleryyuhself~~ I appreciate the way that Massy uses their main trademark colours to send messages about the hurricane season and major causes of flooding. The link between image, text and color sends a strong message without having to be overtly preachy about a very serious topic happening right now in the Caribbean.

TEXT from the Massy United Insurance advertising -:
One of the major effects of pollution is flooding. Dispose of waste properly and do Not throw garbage in drains or rivers. During the hurricane season, be sure to clean your drains and gutters to keep debris from building up. Prevention is always better than a cure but for all the things you can’t prevent - Massy United Insurance is here to help!

Industrial designer Andrew Kim has created a new Coke bottle concept that could significantly change the sodamaker’s footprint. For every 4 bottles currently shipped, the square bottle design could ship 6. This means every shipping container could hold 4,000 more bottles of Coke. Kim also considered that Americans use 2 million plastic bottles every 5 minutes, so he made the bottle itself green. It is  100% plant based, made entirely from sugar cane byproducts. Which is amusing since Coke hasn’t been made from sugar since 1985 (via Jerry James Stone)

~Galleryyuhself~~ I saw these bins for Carifesta Xiv and found them too small for Trinidad and Tobago citizens rabid food consumption. I think that they need to be four times bigger, and try to focus on making them recycle bins.
