It was 1 in the morning and you were getting ready to go to sleep, when you got an unexpected call “who the hell is calling me at this ungodly hour...?”, you groaned. You wearily picked up the phone and a familiar name popped up ‘green cyborg ninja dude’ you immediately perked up and answered it.

“hellooo.”

‘Hey.’

“Is everything ok?”

‘Yeah I’m ok’

he pauses.

‘Except this one tiny thing.’

“And that is?”

‘I may or may not have been trying to build a pillow fort for movie night but have gotten stuck in the blankets.’

“Again?”

“It’s ok I’ll come over and get you out.

You hung up the phone and got ready “Why is he setting up a movie night right now?”, you wonder. As soon as you arrived, you opened the door and saw Genji rolled up in a purple blanket next to an unfinished pillow fort, “Finally you’re here!” he let out a sigh of relief.

You chuckle to yourself and roll him to the other side, “Heyyy what are you doing?” Genji mumbles. “Making sure you stay in that blanket forever, I’m gonna watch The little mermaid all by myself” you teased. “Noo please!” he pouts, “fine, but only this one time”. You roll him out of the violet blanket, and he hugs you. “Thank you i thought you were gonna leave me in there all night” he fake cries, you feel a smile forming on your face “you know I never would do that Genji”.

“Yeah you love me too much”, he grins, you roll your eyes, “Now can you help me finish building the pillow fort, I wanna watch tangled with you.” you agree instantly. After a long 15 minutes of struggling and confusion, the fort was completely set up, it had both of your favorite snacks, drinks, pizza and some stuffed toys, “Finally we can relax” he crawls into the fort and sits down, you follow along and sit next to him, laying your head in his shoulder. He eagerly opens up the movie and moves closer to you with your hand in his.

As the movie went on you slowly drifted into sleep and of course, genji noticed, he decided this was the best time to take revenge on you for teasing him. He carefully placed you onto the stuffed toys and began to initiate his “brilliant” plan, he came back with a feather and shaving cream from his room. Genji sprayed shaving cream onto your hand and tickled your cheek with the feather. “what is that”, you mumble, half asleep, but you continued to disregard it anyway. He tickled your face even more until you couldn’t ignore it anymore and scratched your face, only to be met with a weird foamy texture. “What the hell genji!”, you yelped with the shaving cream now covering half your face. Genji bursted out laughing when he saw the look on your face while you glared at him, “You have to admit it was funny!”, he smiled, handing you a towel. you snatch the towel away from him and wipe your face. “You’re a coward and history will forget you.”, you huffed. “I’m sorryy!” he said, kissing your forehead, “I’ll give you cuddles to make up for it.” Genji said, making him self comfortable in the blankets. “I would like that…” you said, in a tired tone. he kisses you again and wraps his arm around you, pulling you under the covers, falling asleep with you as the movie kept playing.

The way he loves spoiling you.

You’re his princesa

He’s not a super spendy guy but when it comes to his baby girl, anything goes.

His gifts are also very thought out and sweet

They always have some sort of significance

They aren’t last minute either, he’s usually had it for at least a month in advance to your birthday, he likes keeping his things together.

For your birthday you two might also go out for dinner or stay in and he’ll cook, whichever you’d like.

However for his own birthday he likes to keep it really lowkey.

He might take the day off and stay home lying around for the day, maybe treat himself to some nicer food but that's about it.

You looked down at the box that was wrapped in your hands in a carmine coloured wrapping paper. So small that the box couldn’t have been any bigger than the palm of your hand.

“You gonna open it or stare at it?” He said jokingly.

“I’m trying to think of what could be inside.”

“Princesa, It’s not gonna change the more you look at it, you can open it and find out.”

You gave in, pulling off the wrapping paper from the small box to reveal a jewelry box meant for a necklace. Opening the box you looked inside to find a locket that was shaped to resemble a compass.

You opened the locket to show a picture that you and Gabe had taken on your first date. With the words “you are home” engraved on the inside.

Gabe spoke, pulling your gaze to him, “I know it’s cheesy but I thought you’d like it, since that’s your kind of thing.”

You smiled, “I do, I love it. You wanna help me put it on?”

“With pleasure mi alma. Happy birthday.”

His gifts are what you’d expect from a high school boy to his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day

“You aren’t?” Genji spoke with his mouth full the very last of his food.

“Oh my god, no I’m not. Did you even chew your food before swallowing?”

He swallowed, “Would you believe me if I said yes?”

You laughed, “Probably not. Do you want the rest of mine too?”

He nodded, taking the plate from you, in the exchange leaving a kiss on the corner of your lip with a smile, “Thank you, happy birthday, love you.”

You shook your head with a smile, “Love you too.”

Pairing: Genji x Injured GN Reader Warnings: Mentions of injuries and blood, passing out. I don't know if I could call this angst but ?? It's mostly fluff Word Count: 597

You knew you’d been shot. You felt it hit you, tear through your skin. It sent waves of pain through you and you couldn’t determine where you’d been hit, nor could you tell if you’d been hit more than once.

You must’ve cried out when you were hit because after you stumbled, arms helped stabilize you. Before you could register what was happening and who was holding you, you were being dragged through debris. You could hear someone speaking to you, though their words were jumbled and you couldn’t make much from them.

It was at that moment that you realized you were losing a lot of blood. You pressed your fist against your abdomen, trying to apply pressure as best you could.

Blood seeped around your fist, surely staining your shirt. A rock caught under your foot and you lurched forward. The ground came at you and you were going to let it happen. Maybe the person helping you would leave you to die.

The ground never came. Arms pulled you back upright and it was at that moment that you felt the cold metal of someone familiar. He whispered something to you, something you couldn’t pick up. Not with the ringing in your ears and the throbbing of your head.

You tried to speak, managing Genji’s name before the rest of your sentence fell into a slurred and jumbled mess. Genji shushed you, you could make that out, before he started walking with you again, presumably looking for Mercy so she could help you.

You remember hearing Genji shout before the ground met you and you passed out.

A bright light shone through your eyelids. It startled you awake and you groaned, attempting to roll away from the light to go back to sleep. A cold hand came in contact with your shoulder and you groaned, mumbling under your breath as you turned toward the contact.

You sat up, wincing at the slight pain that shot through your abdomen. You ran your hand over your stomach and felt bandages wrapping around your midsection.

The hand on your shoulder moved to your hand, fingers intertwining with yours. You rubbed your eyes with your free hand before opening and taking in the room you were in.

Surprisingly, you were in your own room. The curtains were pulled open, the sun glaring into your room, providing the light that woke you.

The hand holding yours tugged gently and you almost laughed at the impatience. You squeezed his hand, turning to look at Genji. You could’ve sworn you saw him relax and heard a relieved sigh come from him.

He brought your hand up to where his lips would be, pressing the metal against the back of your hand in semblance of a kiss. You returned the gesture, bringing his hand up to your lips to press a soft kiss to the metal.

“You’re okay?” His voice brought a wave of gratitude over you and you smiled, pressing another kiss to his hand.

“I’m okay, I promise,” you reassure.

You felt a vent of warm air blow over you before the cyber ninja stood up, letting go of your hand in the process. Genji pressed his face to the crown of your head before reaching for a tray you hadn’t noticed was there.

“I’m sure you’re hungry.” You could hear a little hint of joy lacing his voice. Some of your favorite snacks were laid out on the tray and you couldn’t help but grin, nodding to him and scooting over to let him join you on the bed.

A = Attractive (What do they find attractive about the other?

Genji is simply quite sure that your eyes and hands are the most attractive attributes about you. See, you're entirely perfect from head to toe in his sight, but your hands are what provide him the purest caresses and are the opposite of his robotic ones that were once human like yours, and your eyes can express the most diverse emotions when close to him. Feeling the warmth of your palms run over his uncovered face and through his hair, the soft, gentle skin intertwining with the metal of his cybernetic parts while your eyes overflow with love is what makes Genji feel whole again.

B = Baby (Do they want a family? Why/Why not?)

The youngest Shimada never thought of having a family of his own. Firstly, for all the pressure that the clan put on himself to participate in the family business with his older brother and second, for his lack of maturity and responsibility in his juvenile phase. And thirdly, the unpleasantness event he had with Hanzo that led to him being a cyborg shattered every paradigm he never considered. Initially, he thought: Who in their right mind would want to be in a relationship with an anomaly like him to the point of wanting to have a family? It sounded like a bad joke.

Now, more recently, Genji might think twice. He's a new version of himself, more stabilized thanks to Zenyatta and thanks to you too. Genji was good with children, although he still had certain insecurities, but you were always there to reassure him that if he was enough for you, then he would be enough for your children.

C = Cuddle (How do they cuddle?)

Regarding cuddles, it can be said that Genji has some knowledge about. Remember his youth phase? Yeah. He doesn't consider himself very comfortable for cuddling because of his armor, yet he's a great relief on hot days but also can be a nightmare on the cold ones. So he'd much prefer that you cuddle him in return, with soft hugs he's sure to return, nice caress in his hair and authentic kisses on the scars on his face that make him feel special.

𝑫 = Dates (What are dates with them like?)

Dates with Genji are a balance between casuality and things/places you never imagined being in one day. A ride through the streets of Hanamura at the flower festival, games at the arcade and a good bowl of ramen at Rikimaru? Perfect. Now, a dinner at the highest point of Shimada Castle, with occasional sakura petals floating in the wind and all the beauty of the moonlight on just the two of you? Even better! Genji makes sure that you are enjoying every second of the moment, it already brings him a feeling of satisfaction and gratitude.

You are the ray of sunshine that uniquely illuminates Genji's life, the flower that will never wither, the peace and serenity he needs and, of course, you are everything to him.

𝑭 = Feelings (When did they know they were in love?)

At first, Genji always felt right by your side, since in no way you looked at him as a freak for being a cyborg and always treated him with kindness and respect. As you spent time together, whether on missions or simple occasions, the younger Shimada realized how much he enjoyed being by your side and when his master Zenyatta asked him about you, he always replied with a more excited tone of voice and if he was without his visor, he would show a smile on his face that overflowed with joy and wonder. With a little more time, Genji would soon pick up on his body's signals and wouldn't deny that his racing heart was nothing but passion.

𝑮 = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?)

I assure you, Genji is a river of kindness. He treats you with the greatest care and affection in the world, as if you were made of the purest and most delicate porcelain. This can irritate you sometimes if you are so wary about yourself. But if you don't, he'll make every point in the world that you're under his displays of affection.

𝑯 = Hands (How do they like to hold hands?)

As stated above, your hands are Genji's essential comfort, he certainly thinks that holding them forever would be a dream. When not wearing his visor, Genji has a habit of kissing the back and the knuckles of your hands, as a way of thanking you for loving him just the way he is and for bringing him different joys every day.

𝑰 = Impression (What was their first impression?)

Joining Overwatch, Genji's first impression was none other than a certain taste of admiration. It was a fresh start for what was once the greatest international peaceful organization, and to see people like you willing to make a difference in the world again was surely admirable. Genji admits that at first he was very quiet with you around, but little by little, he was opening up more and realizing that you were certainly an illustrious hero of Overwatch.

𝑱 = Jealousy (Do they get jealous?)

Genji doesn't consider himself to be the jealous type, especially with you. It may happen that he doesn't like how some person made a move that invades your private space, coming up with some suggestively strange tone of voice, but these are very rare exceptions in which this occurs because he's usually by your side most of the time.

𝑲 = Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?)

With him already completely in love with you, Genji felt anxious to the extreme just thinking about the possibility of kissing you, and such anxiety made him act awkwardly beside you, but he remembered that calm and opportunities come above any nervousness. And the right time did came.

Once you were engaged in a simple and friendly talking late at night in Gibraltar, as fast and accurate as an arrow, Genji interrupted you with a soft but needy kiss that was both unusual and comforting. The cyborg's scarred lips, though rough in texture, were soft and moved over yours slowly and lovingly. You better get ready, because after this one, more surprising and warm kisses will come.

𝑳 = Love (Who says ‘I love you’ first?)

It was definitely him, right after the first kiss. The way his hands affectionately ran over your face, how the affectionate words came out docile with his whispered and soft voice, made your inner being fervently warm up with such uttered kindnesses.

𝑴 = Memory (What’s their favorite memory together?)

Your first Halloween together! It's no secret that Genji is a born lover of the main festivity of the month of October, everything involving Halloween is the target of the cyborg's excitement, from decorating the house with cobwebs and other paraphernalia merely considered bizarre, distributing candy on the street to and with the children, to even choosing costumes. On that first year together, he let you be in charge of the costumes, and let's just say Genji was surprised — and a little bit bored — by your choice of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. He playfully suggested that Sakura and Syaoran or Inuyasha and Kagome would be much better options.

𝑵 = Nickel (Do they spoil? Do they buy the person they love everything?)

Genji is willing to do anything to please you, no matter how small or big it would be. If there's something you want, then that something you'll have! Usually he presents you with basic jewelry, whether they are made of expensive materials or not — barrettes, earrings, bracelets, you name it. He also loves to surprise you with simple symbols like small wooden sculptures that he makes himself and even something of his own, like the time he gave you a small replica of his sword to use as a keyring.

𝑶 = Orange (What color reminds them of their other half?)

You couldn't be more luminous and radiant in his eyes, clear and light colors like yellow and pink reminds him of the sunrise and that you are his particular sun.

𝑷 = Pet names (What pet names do they use?)

Some of them are sun-related, such as: sunlight, sunshine, sunflower, but there's also koibito-chan, little dove; and the common ones: sweetheart, love, sweetie and honey.

𝑸 = Quaint (What is their favorite non-modern thing?)

When far away, Genji sends you letters to let you know how much he misses you, telling details of the mission and some events that make you chuckle due to your partner's sense of humor. His handwriting is enviable for being so well done, and he always says goodbye with a small pen drawing and an 'I love you' in Japanese.

𝑹 = Rainy Day (What do they like to do on a rainy day?)

Rainy days mean days of rest and many more opportunities for the two of you to be cuddling together, watching your favorite series and movies, playing some games and stuffing yourselves with goodies; in the end, when you're satisfied, a good amount of sleep ends the day perfectly.

𝑺 = Sad (How do they cheer themselves/others up?)

These are the moments Genji hates the most. These waves of insecurities come and go sometimes, he knows how it is and with his emotional stability, he tries to push them away as much as he can, but it's not always something easy to achieve. It breaks his heart to see you with your head down, without your usual glow on your face and spontaneity in your eyes. Genji doesn't question anything, it's your moment, and the first thing he does is put his arms around you and lay your head on his chest, letting you vent or cry as much as you want, being a patient and understanding listener. He readily offers to make you something warm and cozy to eat and advises you to go and lie down in your shared bed. While you wait, Genji recommends going to watch something that comforts you and distracts your mind; with you in your fifteenth sleep, Genji joins you on the bed, once again wrapping you against his body and laying a light kiss against your temple.

𝑻 = Talking (What do they like to talk about?)

Genji likes to share with you some stories from his time in Overwatch's golden age, even if that time wasn't the best of his life, he knows it was a starting point for his evolution as a person, so telling you about them requires patience and trust. On the other hand, he also loves to talk about the time he spent traveling all over the globe, getting to know different cultures, languages, people and also trying different types of food.

𝑼 = Unencumbered (What helps them relax?)

Being with you is relaxing in itself, but if he needs some time of his own, you will surely find him in the garden taking out any frustrations on aging tree trunks or restoring his calm through meditation.

𝑽 = Vaunt (What do they like to show off? What are they proud of?)

As we all know, Genji is a prideful warrior. When you train together, he proves that his skillful way of battling is not by any case — and that 'case' usually leaves you exhausted at the end of the day. Not everyone in the world is capable of wielding a sword as well as Genji, let alone being as stealthy, silent, and dangerous with shurikens. A ninja in modern times can be rare and exclusive and this exclusivity is due to Genji.

𝑾 = Wedding (When, how, where do they propose?)

Genji loves you very much, so strong and immeasurable is this love that as your relationship grows and blossoms like a flower, re-unifying the intensity between the two of you is a viable option. This option being none other than getting married.

The concept of the idea might scare him a bit because there is a chance that you don't want to get married right now, after all it is a decision that is up to you alone and that needs to be taken with consensus — little does he know that the desire to get married also crosses your mind.

Genji then decided to face his nervousness and take the benefit of the doubt at once. While you were away, he found a way — with a little help from Kiriko and company — to leave the house with a dazzling romantic decoration and with his culinary skills to prepare your favorite dish, taking advantage of the hours of your absence to improvise a good speech.

Upon arriving home, what was your surprise to see the romantically decorated environment, soft music permeating the air, a table placed in the middle of the room and your docile boyfriend waiting for you. Genji adjusted his little bow tie with his fingertips and smiled a nice smile at you despite his palpable flutter.

After tasting the divine dish that the cyborg ninja prepared just for you, Genji cleared his throat. Attentively, you turned your gaze to him, whose jet-black irises were focused on a spot below his cervix. He looked up, beaming at you and vocalizing his ideals in his mellifluous voice.

“Sunshine… I confess I'm nervous, my heart is now pounding in my chest like it did the first time I laid eyes on yours. But what really matters right now is how important you are to me. It may sound selfish, but no one will love you like I do. I am forever grateful for your love, your smile, the sound of your laugh, the kind touch you place in me and everyone around you... Every day, every hour and in all events, you are and will forever be my sunshine. My sunshine…”

Slowly, Genji lifted a small velvet box open with both hands, revealing the most luminous and golden ring.

“Koibito-chan… Will you marry me?”

𝑿 = Xylophone (What’s their song?)

Musically speaking, Genji is eclectic. He likes to listen to a little bit of everything, having a full playlist ranging from J-pop to Brazilian popular music (MPB). However, if it comes to my personal taste, I think the song that would suit you both would be Eastside — Benny Blanco, Halsey & Khalid.

This is the time everyone has been waiting for. Why dog or cat when you have Soba, a spirit dragon? Genji estimate Soba and is keen for the two of you to have a pleasant relationship, for he knows how jealous the dragon can be when it comes to himself.

Oh my god my first Overwatch request!! I'm so excited it's for Hanzo. This man has already become super comforting for me.

I hope you enjoy what I've done! Sorry it isn't very long. Writing this was my reward for doing schoolwork.

Warnings: None really. Genji is a shit and Hanzo is baby. Mega fluffy.

First of all, he thinks you’re the cutest thing to walk this planet. Despite the way his heart races when you smile at him, he can’t help but smile at your instant blush.

Trust me, he knows you have a crush on him. You’re completely obvious.

However, he can’t help but wonder why. In his eyes, he’s a monster that doesn’t deserve someone as special as you. He feels selfish when the thoughts of you being with him cross his mind.

So he refuses to pursue anything no matter how badly he wants to love you. He’s sure you could be with anyone else and have a better person in your life.

When you walk by, or whisper his name so sweetly, he’s reminded just how precious you are.

So how do the two of you get together? That’s a really funny story..

“Oh come on, just say you think he’s handsome! I’m going to vomit if I have to see you staring at the back of his head with those fucking puppy eyes one more time..” Genji makes a fake gagging noise as your face warms considerably.

“Shut up! Geez.. it’s not like he pays any attention to me in the first place. He’s been quick to leave rooms I enter for the past week.”

“I promise it isn’t your fault. Trust me, I know my brother.” He removes his mask, revealing the kind smile you’ve learned to hear. “Just get him alone and-”

Genji pauses, smirking as he sees the man of the hour walking down the hallway. His hands are suddenly on your shoulders, shoving you into a room as he whispers a quick “stay” and rushes off.

You’re completely confused, but stay put as he requested. It doesn’t take long for you to realize what he was planning… because you can hear Hanzo questioning him down the hall.

“Genji, what are you freaking out about?!”

“Hanzo, brother, just follow me! I need you to help me check this room!”

Your eyes shoot open and you back away from where the brothers rush into the room. Hanzo meets your wide eyes with a very confused look. “Y/N? What are you-”

The bedroom door slams shut, and Genji is gone. Hanzo whips around and grabs the doorknob, trying to open it with a growl. “Genji! What is the meaning of this?!”

“I am not opening this door until you tell each other the truth!”

You shake your head, looking down as your face flares red hot. “G-Genji! He’s obviously n-not comfortable!”

Hanzo glances over his shoulder at you, his own cheeks starting to warm slightly. “Don’t concern yourself with me, Y/N. Genji, I am not playing with you!”

“I’m not either! I’m sick of my brother and closest friend tiptoeing around each other because they want to kiss or date or whatever!

Both of you freeze, now meeting each other’s gaze and stuttering.

“I swear your brother-”

“Genji has no idea-”

For two minutes or so, the two of you stutter and interrupt each other, going on until you both go silent, still staring at each other.

Hazno clears his throat. “G-go ahead. I insist.”

You gulp, swallowing down the lump in your throat to manage a few words. “You’ve.. Been avoiding me..”

His heart shatters hearing your words. “N-no! I mean, yes, but not because of you. It’s my fault, Y/N.”

“But why? Did I offend you?”

“No! Because.. Well,” he rubs the back of his neck, “because I think you’re.. Shit.. Y/N I know you have a crush on me.”

You let out a loud squeak, making him jump slightly. “H-how?! GENJI!”

“No no no! I just.. I can tell. Likewise, I have the same feelings for you, but I’m.. I’m scared of hurting you.”

You blink, watching with confusion as he looks away from your gaze. He takes your silence as a question in itself, so he continues.

“I am a monster, Y/N.. you deserve someone with a cleaner past than mine. You don’t want to be with-” He’s cut off as you walk closer and grab one of his hands gently in both of yours.

The smile on your face almost makes his knees buckle under his weight.

“I know your past.. Hanzo, I don’t care.” Your heart races, but you take a deep breath and continue. “I want you, not anyone else.” Your small hand gently runs up his arm, tracing the dragon tattoos on his arm.

He lets out an audible gasp, shivering slightly under your touch. “I.. I’ve never.. Been in a serious relationship.”

“So, if you want to try, we go at your pace. You’re worth it, Hanzo Shimada..”

He bites the inside of his cheek, willing away the distant part of him that wants to cry.

How long has it been… since I’ve felt so in love..

“I.. would like that a lot, Y/N.” He finally opens his hand, allowing you to lace your fingers together.

You let out an excited giggle as you swing your arms gently. “Yay! Now, we can start by eating dinner together… if that’s okay..”

“That sounds lovely, my dear. First-” He grabs the doorknob and finally yanks the door open, revealing a grinning Genji, “I have a little brother to beat.”

The grin is gone, and Genji’s flight mode kicks in as he takes off down the hall, yelling for Cassidy or Winston to save his cyborg ass.

ow guys and girls (not all) setting up your anniversary date with them!

Genji Genji set up his super duper nice futon mats on his bedroom floor, he can’t really feel the hard floor, but he’d like for you to be as comfortable as you can be around him. You’ve been together for so long yet he always feels like he needs to do everything perfect for you. He set up little scented candles a good distance away from the futon mats. He put on his best cuddling sweater on, took of his mask/face plate and sat on one of the mats. Genji was super nervous about his sort of simplistic idea of an anniversary evening with him. When you entered the room he jolted up and greeted you, “H-Happy Anniversary, (Name)!!” He smiled brightly.

Cassidy This cowboy asked Genji what to do, Genji advised him to set up a romantic evening in his room, anddddd Cassidy did just that. He scattered rose petals on his new clean sheets, which he had Commander Morris wash for him, lit candles on his bed-side tables. Cassidy made sure to grab your favorite snacks and beverages for this special night. He made sure to cover you in small kisses all over. When in bed, he’ll tease you relentlessly thinking about all the memories y’all created over the years. If you’re feeling up for it, he is down to get a little naughty. (eyes emoji)

Tracer Tracer was running around her apartment trying to get ready with only 25 minutes left. She almost messed up trying to gel her hair like her usual everyday hair do. She set up her dinning table with a clean white cloth, had a candle light and set up the plates and silverware. She got done in ten minutes flat. Since Tracer had 15 minutes of just waiting she triple checked that everything was in order. She sat impatiently in her seat. You see, today was the day that Lena was going to propose to you, and she was sweating bullets. The poor girl was reciting everything in her head while other bad scenarios were happening. What if you rejected her? That’d ruin your anniversary and her proposal!! Lena was freaking out trying to shake off that nagging feeling of doubt. The doorbell brought her back to reality. This was it!

Brigette Oh boy, she’s actually surprised that time has flown by so fast with you by her side. Brigette had to make time in between helping Reinhardt and other every day functions. She rented out a whole amusement park so that you two can have an enjoyable experience. She made sure to take lots of photos of you on the anniversary date so that she can hang them up in her room.

Mercy “I got you some swiss chocolates! They’re good, try one!” Angela said as she presented you a medium sized box of chocolates. You know it was her personal favorite sweet treats, but it was a kind gesture. You happily sat next to her and enjoyed the box of chocolates while discussing her latest discoveries. The medic had been so busy with patients arriving almost everyday, she didn’t have a lot of time to prep for your shared anniversary. She felt guilty for not being able to give you what you deserved. “One last thing...” Angela said as she pulled out a small yellow envelope from her pocket. You opened it and inside was a small handkerchief, stitched in was a yellow heart. <3

Widowmaker It’s more like you surprised her with your shared anniversary. She kind of completely forgot. You gave her the usual bouquet of flowers and sweet snacks. Inside she was actually quite happy, but on the outside all she could do is scoff and turn away from you.

Hanzo He planned it months in advanced what he wanted to do for your anniversary! He made sure there was nice weather, not too cold and not too hot outside. Hanzo wanted to have a peaceful dinner outside with you followed by a small anniversary cake of your favorite flavor. Hanzo goes for the more sentimental approach rather than the big in your face kind of parties. After dinner, cuddling and sweet kisses are a must!

I Need Healing

Genji x Support! Reader

You are the only healer that Genji trusts when Mercy, Ana, and Kiriko aren’t available. Mercy has taught you the run down of how to help Genji with his Cyborg parts if she wasn’t around. You were a little jealous of Mercy and Genji’s bond. Not so much about his bonds with Kiriko and Ana. Ana was like everyone’s mom and Kiriko was like a sister to him.

You were organizing some medical supplies in your office when there was a knock on your door.

“Come in.”

You say as you close the cabinet door. You look at the doorway and see Hanzo and Kiriko holding Genji.

“Oh. Please put him on the table and tell me what happened.”

They do as you say and they do it quickly.

“Well his legs gave out. Then his arms stopped working.”

Hanzo informed you

“We tried Mercy’s office, but I forgot that she’s currently on vacation.”

Your face saddens.

“Luckily Mercy taught me how to do this. So he’s in good hands. If you two would to wait outside that would be great.”

They both nod and close the door when they exit. You sanitize your hands and put on some glove. You get to work getting Genji’s arms working. You were done with one arm and you were about to move to work on the other when Genji’s hand grabbed your wrist.

“Thank you, Mercy”

“You’re welcome, Genji.”

You say as you frown and he lets go of you. About 2 hours later you finally get his arms and legs working again. You were talking to Hanzo and Kiriko outside of your office when all three of you hear the door open.

“You know that you should be resting, Genji. Mercy told me that it’s important for you to rest for at least a minimum of 5 hours after I fix you up.”

“I apologize, Y/N. But…”

“But what, Genji?”

Hanzo questions.

“I can’t relax without Y/N there with me. And I’m hungry.”

“I’ll be in there in a minute and I’ll make sure to have a snack for you to eat. Okay?”

He nods and goes to lay back down.

“He called me Mercy while I was working on him.”

“Do you think he was out of it and didn’t know?”

Kiriko asks

“That’s what I’m telling myself. Also, Kiriko. Can you get a snack for Genji? And Hanzo please make sure that she doesn’t get anything with sugar or a lot of salt.”

They nod and set off on their mission. You go into your office and close the door. When you sit down next to Genji he wraps his arms around you.

“I’m sorry for calling you Mercy. My brain is just used to having Mercy fix me.”

“It’s alright Genji. I knew you didn’t mean it. I guess I was just a little jealous.”

He takes off his face mask and kisses your cheek.

“You know I love you. My sweet doe.”

You blush as he calls you that since he started calling you that when he first saw you summon your doe spirit during battle. It’s similar to the brothers dragons and Kiriko’s Kitsune. But the doe will pick the person or people who need healing and takes them to safety while healing them.

You two end up laying down and face each other.

“I think I need more healing, Y/N?”

“Why?”

“Because I think I might die from how cute you are.”

You two share a kiss. When Hanzo and Kiriko come back they hear the soft snoring of Genji and they just end up leaving a note with the snacks. Kiriko may or may not have taken a picture of you and Genji sleeping.

“Come on, y/n!” Genji urges you, “what do you have to lose?”

“My dignity? My pride? Self-respect?”

He rolls his eyes, “self respect is overrated.”

You glare daggers at him. You’re only in this debacle because you accidentally told the youngest Shimada about your feelings for his childhood friend, and now he wouldn’t let it go.

He’s been urging you to ask her out all day, claiming that you guys would make the perfect couple. “You would be so good for her! She needs someone good right now.”

“No.”

“But—”

“No!” You scowl at the puppy dog eyes he’s attempting to give you, “I said no, and that’s final.”

You think that’s the end of the discussion of your crush on the Kamori girl, but Genji is a persistent motherfucker. Even long after you’ve left your home, he’s thinking of ways he can get you to confess with her. Not only did Genji now know about your feelings for Kiriko, but he had been on the receiving end of Kiriko’s rants about how perfect you are for the better part of a year.

He was doing this for himself just as much as he was for the two of you. Or, that’s what he told himself at least.In reality, he just couldn’t help but cause chaos.

Genji approaches you the next day, “y/n!”

“What’s up?”

“So about Operation KK—”

You’re rolling your eyes and walking away from him before he can even finish speaking. The ninja is much faster than you, though, and catches up to you in an instant.

“Come on!” He tugs on your arm, “there has to be something I can do to convince you to tell her!”

“Can’t you just drop it?”

“You know I can’t.”

You groan. “But I can’t just ask her out. It’s gotta be like, special or something.”

“Let me help you,” he wraps an arm around your shoulders and starts guiding you to your room, “I know everything about her. I’ve known her her whole life.”

You reluctantly agree despite the uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach. You know it’s just nerves, and you really do want her to be your girlfriend, but the idea of even asking her makes your head spin.

An hour later and you’re laying on the floor of your bedroom. Genji is perched in your desk chair, rattling off ideas at you.

“She loves foxes,” he says. “Although I think that one was kind of obvious.”

“I mean that’s kind of her whole thing.”

“She loves junk food, too.”

“Everyone likes that though.”

He sighs, “I really thought I knew her better than this.”

“It’s okay,” you shrug. “Maybe it’s just not meant to happen yet.”

“No! You can’t give up, y/n. There’s gotta be something we haven’t thought of yet.”

“We’ve thought of everything, though! What more does she like?”

Suddenly Genji’s eyes light up, the lightbulb inside his head finally turning on. He leans in close, and whispers his plan to you.

It’s absolutely brilliant.

The next night, sometime after dinner, you ask Kiriko if she wants to go for a walk with you. The girl is more than happy to agree, even getting somewhat flustered that you asked.

“Any particular reason you wanted to do this tonight?” She asks.

You shrug. “Just feel like it’s been a while since we caught up, you know?”

“Yeah, you’re right.”

You lead her through the city, trying to get to the highest point before sunset. Genji and you had been there earlier already, setting up the surprise he had in store. You’re almost surprised at how insightful Genji’s idea is, and you can’t wait to show Kiriko.

“Where are we going?”

“You’ll see,” you smile.

“You know, if it was somewhere far, we could have taken my bike.”

You flush a little at the thought of riding on her bike with her, your arms around her waist, the warmth of her body pressed against yours. You shake the idea out of your head, trying to keep your focus on what lies in store for you tonight.

“We’re almost there,” you assure her, and begin the final approach to your destination.

It’s on the hill above Kanezaka, overlooking the whole city. From here, you can see all the streetlights and lights from the insides of houses. It’s a view that gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling, and based on the look on Kiriko’s face, she feels the same way.

There’s a thick quilt laid out on the plush grass, a bag full of junk food in the middle of it. Genji had helped you select all of her favorite things for tonight.

You settle in on the blanket, facing the night sky above the city. Kiriko follows your lead, plopping down on the blanket so close to you that you can feel the heat radiating off of her body.

“Y/n,” she beams, mouth agape at the sight. “Is this..did you do all this for me?”

You nod, unable to contain your smile. “I, uh…damn, this is hard.” You swallow hard and continue, “I wanted to ask you something.”

“And what would that be?”

You rest your head over top of hers, your heart pounds against your rib cage. The blood rush to your ears is so loud you can barely hear your own voice over it. “Kiriko, will you be my girlfriend?”

Her cheeks glow red and you swear you see her eyes light up. “You—you really want me to be your girlfriend?”

You bite your lip and shake your head. You can see the flush spreading across her whole face and down her neck now.

“Yes!” She’s so ecstatic she practically pounces on you, wrapping her arms around your shoulders.

The force of the hug knocks you flat onto your back, but you don’t mind one bit. Kiriko’s your girlfriend now. It finally happened.

She pulls back. “Wait—why did you have to take me all the way up here to ask me that?”

“Well…” you say sheepishly, but you’re saved by the first round of fireworks going off.

They’re bright red, just like the colour of the jacket Kiriko wears. You can see the reflections of the fireworks in her big, brown eyes.

“These are for me?”

You know it’s now or never. You gently cup her warm cheek and lean in, pressing your lips to hers. It’s gentle at first, hesitant even. Kiriko reciprocates the movement, putting one of her hands on the back of your neck and tugging closer. She moves against you, soft lips on yours.

When you pull away, Kiriko is grinning. “You're the best, y/n.”

You grab her hand, “I’m only as good as my girlfriend.”

You’re on the way home from your date when Kiriko asks you something that’s been on her mind the whole time. “How did you manage all that?”

“I had a little help from a friend,” you smile.

Somewhere in the darkness, Genji Shimada cheers to himself. His plan worked.

Watching yourself in the mirror, you pose in your outfit to make sure you don't look odd. You wore a pair of jeans, a T-shirt, and a red zip up, as the weather was getting colder day by day into the winter.

Genji, your sweet boyfriend, invited you on a date to a local carnival. He said he'd pick you up around this time, and he was about.. 2 minutes late. You were nervously picking at your nail beds, hoping he hadn't forgotten about your little date.

Knock knock

"Hellooo? You could hear the smile Genji had on from through the door. Letting a smile creep onto your face, you fix your hair just one more time, grab your bag, and lead yourself to the door.

You looked him up and down, and took note of his outfit. It was a casual date, so he sported a grey hoodie, jeans, and sneakers.

"Hey." You smiled at him, and glanced down to his hand that he now held out. You placed your hand in his, as he began to make small talk to entertain the two of you.

Walking hand in hand to the carnival, you noticed all the bright lights softly glowing in the now darkening sky. You had left your apartment at 4, so that means you had arrived at around 4:45-ish.

"Genji, wont the carnival be closing soon?" You sheepishly asked, turning to look at the cyborg ninja you called your boyfriend. "Its a special event that I didn't read much into- but it'll be open until twelve tonight." He continued to guide you through the fair, making sure the two of you don't get split up.

"Oh- look at the cotton candy stall! We should get some!" You turn to him, tugging on his hoodie sleeve to gain his attention in a childlike manner. Genji lets out a laugh, and rolls out a 'sure', and walks over to the stand with you. Ordering the cotton candy, he hands you the colorful cloud of stringed sugar. Both of you pulling off clumps and taking bites of the sugary substance, you tread slowly around the carnival. (A/N please pretend he can eat through his mask i cant battle the logic right now) Stopping around at certain places to take pictures, or going through a line to enter a roller coaster, Genji's hand remained in your's during the whole night. Even when you guys decided to take a picture at the animal wall, poking your heads through two little holes likely meant for a child, and having someone take your picture. Sharing laughter throughout the night, the animal picture became the lock screen to both your phone and his phone. A cute gesture shared between the two of you, that made you giddy and fall in love with the guy all over again. "Oh my gosh- we should go on the ferris wheel Genji! What else is there to do on a totally romantic carnival date? It's the perfect finish to our night!" You pleaded and reasoned towards him, expecting nothing less of what you received. "That's a good idea, I'd like that. Let's get in line right now, actually." He looked down at you, smiling, again guiding you through the crowd of what you now realized were couples and pulled you to the ride. You giddily smiled and fidgeted with his hands, as you waited in the line. Once again, making small talk." "Okay okay- but heres one better than that- Why did the scarecrow get an award?" Genji laughed through his words and smiled down at you, waiting for your response to the dad jokes that you two had been giggling at through out your wait time. Smiling, you asked 'why?' through another laugh.

"Because he was outstanding in his field." You and genji threw yourselves into another fit of giggles over jokes that weren't even funny, but they were funny because it was told by each other. Someone you loved. "Next in line please!" The line conductor beckoned to the two of you, as the two of you walked towards the cart and walked in. sitting on the opposite side of each other, smiling, and talking to each other, occasionally pointing out something weird on ground level, or talking about how pretty the sky was. Once at the top of the wheel, it stopped. Genji placed his mask to the side of himself, letting you take in his face. Something that not many got to see, but he was more than comfortable with showing you at all times if he could. Fireworks in the distance marked midnight, beautifully. Pink and red, purple and yellow, black and white fireworks rung out through your ears. Patterns popped throughout the dark sky, making it bright again. You watched the fireworks, then turned to your boyfriend, taking in how he looked in the moment. You found it endearing how he looked at the fireworks with a smile. He turned to you when he felt your eyes on him and smiled even wider. "Thanks for tonight, Genji. It's really been fun." He pulled you in closer to him, now sitting on his left side. Taking your cheek with his hand, and pulled your face even closer, now just centimeters apart. "For you, I would do anything to make sure you're happy."

He locks his lips with yours, a sweet, and longing kiss. Nothing more shared between the two of you in that moment that love, and endearment for one another.
