So i’ve been meaning to do this for a while.

A lot about GlitchTale has never made much sense to me, but one of the main things was Betty Noire’s design, and just her in general.

more rambling under the cut

First off, Betty Noire is the embodiment of fear, from my understanding. So, why she looks so cutesy and friendly makes no sense to me. But regardless, I tried to lean into it, trying to give her an uncanny valley feeling. trying to make her look just a little bit off.

now i’m no horror artist, so I can’t necessarily say whether or not i’ve done a good job, but I know she’s at least a little more intimidating than Camila’s design.

it was a tossup when thinking off the sketching. do we want a redeemable villain, or an intimidating one that kills for the fuck of it?

I wanted to give her a very “put-together” look, why? dunno. Betty never came across as the hyper messy type to me.

So lately everyone is redesigning and rewriting their own take of the Undertale AU, Glitchtale, cause let's face it ya'll...It's bad. Especially the character designs. And I'm have one with me. Everyone's most hated character, Betty!

I Do NOT support Camila Cuevas or her actions. I did this for the Fandom and for fun

I literally have so many headcannons and ideas for my version of Glitchtale, especially Betty that I might go insane :)

Below is me rambling on about her character :)

I decided to make her look more like a child and give her more colors that's not all pink, but kept the purple sweater with some stripes cause she's a kid. I also love the fact when I posted this on Twitter and everyone else gave her a overall skirt, white leggings and black shoes, I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I also gave her the faded ribbon from Undertale cause I think it would be pretty cool during the beginning, Frisk gave it to her as a sign of their friendship...until she was revealed she was evil.

Then why did she keep it? Very odd...

Anyway, Akumu is not a pink bubblegum ball and now looks like a cat. I did this for two reasons. To fit in Betty's appearance and also cats are known to be cunning and sly.

Betty is a human being created by magic to assure monsters would be destroyed and humans will prosper. She is manipulated by Agate, her creator, to believe monsters deserve to live underground and not in the surface. Betty believes if she gets rid of monsters, things will be better and humans will be at peace.

Atleast that was what she was told by Agate.

Is Betty a evil monster like her original counterpart? Or is she more than meets the eye...?

So me and Void Satas have come up with an AU/remake of Glitchtale made by Camila. It will be called "Glitchtale: Recoded"! The story is sort of in progress, being sort of the same but with a few major differences. Here is the first Betty concept! This is not an attack on Camila or Glitchtale as a series, this is just for fun and just a little AU made for fun. In fact, depending on how things go, Recoded by even tie into the original Glitchtale in a way, though only one thing would be technically reconned in the original Glitchtale for this AU. But, what do ya think? Think Betty looks nice?

Sunflowerverse follows the story of Betty from glitchtale, as she goes through a Multiversal redemption arc while living with Dream in the Omega Timeline taking on the new name of Sunflower! or just Sunnie for short, and while yes Sunnie is the main focus there are many different plot lines and characters that also take the main focus as the farther we go into the series you'll get full on comic lines on them no Sunflower included lol, closest thing I can compare it to is Zoophobia where it starts off focusing on one group of characters but then branches out showing the lives of more and more people over time.

Honestly glitchtale has such a good concept. Shit execution and a child predator for a writer/ animator. But a good concept and ideas that were brought in the fandom and good character ideas (not characters though) and the art is very nice too.

glitchtale HAS SO MYCH GOOD LORE THAT I LOVE SO MUCH. and don’t get me wrong, I’m very hard glitchtale enjoyer. The story writing just makes me cringe. Legit, I went through the entire series and learned all the lore because of betty noire. The series had so much wasted porentional and honestly i love seeing how people redesign betty and give glitchtale new lore surrounding her. The characters were butchered… but.. the ideas lived on and that’s what made glitchtale enjoyable for me tbh. I liked it because there was so much possibility on ways to change the story slash make it better.

Hi I’m returning back to my roots since my undertale yellow obsession is happening as we speak

Here’s one of my undertale/glitchtale ocs (will call it undertale because glitchtale’s creator is….eh…problematic….) anyways it’s a little spin off au called ReverseGlitch! And it follows the pov of this silly painter guy in the 1880s called Shae Campbell! He is in fact not silly (ok maybe sometimes) but anyways- I feel like child Shae and Ryder (post island) would…..get along!…..I think.
