Unrequited love
A story where Tenga Onigawara from mob psycho realizes in love with Musashi Goda.
I’m sorry for the poor writing I was bored, and my friend thought they made a cute pair so I made a short story.
In the bustling city, there lived a young delinquent named Tenga Onigawara. Tenga was a close friend and fellow member of the Body Improvement Club with Musashi Goda, a kind-hearted and strong-willed individual. After the many adventures they had developed a strong bond and that bond was built from their shared experiences.
Tenga has always admired Musashi's unwavering determination and his ability to see the good in everyone all the time. As they spend more time together, Tenga's admiration for Musashi gradually transforms into something deeper love. Tenga found himself drawn to Musashi's infectious laughter, his always caring nature, and his ever-inspiring words.
However, Tenga soon realized that his feelings were definitely unrequited. Despite their close friendship, Musashi saw Tenga as nothing more than a brotherly figure. This realization caused Tenga's heart to ache, but he decided to keep his feelings hidden, not wanting to put their friendship in jeopardy.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, but Tenga's feelings for Musashi just kept growing stronger and stronger. As each passing day became a bittersweet struggle, as Tenga is witnessing Musashi's interactions with others, including his kind gestures towards their female classmates. While Tenga tried to put on a brave face, his heart yearned for something more.
One day, as the sun cast its soft golden rays upon the city, Tenga found himself at the local park. He sat on a bench, his thoughts floating about, he watched Musashi playing soccer with their friends. Tenga's heart skipped a beat every time Musashi flashed his radiant smile, but deep down, he knew that he needed to confront his feelings before things got out of hand..
After summoning up some of his courage, Tenga approached Musashi after the game. They sat down on the grass, their shoulders just barly touching as they caught their breath. Tenga took a deep breath and mustered the strength to speak his truth.
"Musashi, there's something I need to tell you," Tenga began, his voice tinged with both nervousness and sincerity. "I... I have feelings for you. More than just friendship."
Musashi's eyes widened with surprise, his cheeks reddening slightly. He looked at Tenga, his expression a mix of confusion and concern.
"Tenga, you're my best friend," Musashi replied, his voice gentle yet firm. "But I've never thought of you in that way. I value our friendship immensely, and I don't want anything to change that."
Tenga's heart sank, but he nodded, accepting Musashi's words with a heavy heart. "I understand, Musashi. Our friendship means the world to me, and I don't want to lose that either. I just needed to be honest with you."
Silence enveloped them as the weight of the conversation settled between them. Tenga fought back tears, knowing that his heart would ache. After a few tense seconds Tenga got up and with a sad smile said “Hey Musashi don't worry about it, i'll see you at school.” and with that Tenga left.
