It's Cloud Town Tuesday. The day I post an image from my graphic novel and talk about the process of making it! As proud as I am of the standard Cloud Town cover, there is a secret version hidden beneath the book jacket on the hardcover edition that has a special place in my heart. While there were dozens of drafts and compromises involved with the creation of the primary cover, this "case" cover was done on an extremely short deadline. This means there was no time to do anything but print the illustration exactly the way I drew it. There's an alarming amount of "hurry up and wait" in the publishing business and often the moments with the biggest time crunch produce some of the most interesting results. Playlists

I haven't written anything I really liked for either of these projects yet BUT BOY DO I LIKE TO MAKE MUSIC VIDEOS OF MY OCs IN MY HEAD. I use playlists as a mood board for writing. I have three good ideas for graphic novels, but the playlist for my oldest one needs reworking. (I do have "the main character's iPod" sort of playlist for her, however.) The summaries are in the playlist descriptions. Deer Dance came to me in a dream, including the title. My brain pulled it from a fuckin System of a Down song I haven't heard in years or thought of. Oren Rhymus is the first man from his Rhymus tribe to work in outside world. Otherwise his tribe has not gone outside of their village ever.

Since the incident happened, A deadly Virus is spreading all over the world that is making human behaviour more violent day by day....So Oren decided to go to his village back as he wanted to work outside but actually didn't liked the cities at all.
