#some tag rambles bc im having a bunch of loz thoughts to hey why not do a short lived tag ramble#starting with the bad i have thought more on how i feel totk fucked up its characters and its like. yeah any arcs that are there are bad#zeldas is dogshit all of the sages are just. VERY tell no show and it really doesnt matter and otherwise idk#nothing wrong with a static character but imo with a static character you then have to show more of them#reveal some things. also doesnt really happen. the main speaking cast are also kinda weak in relation to link#they dont really work off of him very well bc hes… not treated like a character. hes just some virtuous everyman in the story#so theres no actual chemistry between him or the other characters bc he isnt treated a character so like. he has almost no chemistry#its all mostly one sided and none of the sages but zelda have any real chemistry with other major characters either#and the major characters zelda has chemistry with barely matter so fuck it. like when ppl talk abt like. loz stories#and ppl talk abt how yeah they arent the best but totk is rlly bad. i dont feel like any other loz stories are baaaaad#not in the same way. but they dont feel as egregiously fumbled. imo its bc of the characters most of them time#ofc story can be strong enough and im not discounting stuff like mm and oots themes and atmosphere and stuff#it seeeems to me the most popular non zelda sage is tulin? but mostly bc hes a sweet kid and thats fine and all but there doesnt seem to#be much else to him hes otherwise kinda unremarkable bc he just doesnt do much else and seems to exists mostly to serve gameplay and plot#botw did it better bc the champions actively had a dynamic and a relationship with link they arent the deepest but they have more substance#botw zelda is arguably the strongest character in botw with a unique personality and genuine relationship to link even if we just see it#in the memories and seeing her warm up to link is cool but imp they fumble it in the ending of her arc and how it kinda contradicts stuff#and in totk they doubled the fuck down on her unlocking her powers for reasons related to link and decided ig shed figure she needs to be#links forever bestie and hypeman and she kinda just revolves around him in a really superficial way and this is the negative extreme#of a character being bolstered by being connected to link. but anyways in loz its the characters that tend to be the strongest points#and the characters with a clear dynamic and relationship to link shine the most. think groose ghirahim ravio midna fi marin linebeck sheik#the list could go on but the characters who get a chance to shine by interacting with the Player Character are the ones who stick out#and ofc they get more screen time but they cant avoid that character development or general character fleshing out bc they are in some way#tied to link and in a sort of way link himself is more fleshed out through how those other characters react to him if that makes sense#i think loz is at its best when a good bit of emphasis and effort is placed on characters and character relationships#and when thise relationships and character are written well ofc this fucking matters too#anyways thats why ph is one of the best we love our character heavy black sheep them ds characters carry so hard and so fucking well mwah

A few "NPCs"
I can't say ALL of them will make an appearance in the comic, actually, but these are NPCs that are important to the Links, in one way or another, while also having a few significant design differences from canon (thus why no Linebeck or spryte lol.)

Been having lots of fun with LoZ again since TOTK came out and I keep thinking abt good guy ganon AU, and I ended up thinking so hard about it that I accidentally formed a. questionable crack theory about the divide between Ganon and Demise
so naturally I'm about to make it everyone's problem. lets go
Ok, so Ganondorf has been fully human in more than one of the games. Evil, yes, and possessing dark magic plenty of times, but undoubtedly still a man. Meanwhile, the fully fledged Demon King/Calamity is clearly Demise. The difference between these two is very stark.
What if they're actually not the same person? What if Ganondorf and Demise didn't originally share the same spirit?
Demise is not mortal. His exact words were that "his hatred would follow them forever". If we took that a bit more literally, we could interpret that as the lingering Malice and dark magic Ganondorf utilizes in the series instead of Demise himself reincarnating alongside Link and Zelda.
If Demise and Ganondorf aren’t the same person, then where the hell did Ganon come from? Why does he reincarnate?
Idea: Demise didn’t just curse the hero and the goddess, he cursed everyone there who had a hand in his downfall.
Now this is just an idea, but let me elaborate.
There are 4 major reoccurring characters in the Legend of Zelda series. Yes, 4, you read that right. Those characters are Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, and Impa. Impa appears less than the other three, but she holds enough weight in the story and has appeared often enough (around 7 times?) that I will be counting her, especially for the sake of this argument.
Anyway
Back to the curse thing
Excluding Demise and Ghirahim, there were 4 people present at the final battle with Demise in Skyward Sword: Link, Zelda, Impa, and Groose.
The first three are reoccurring characters, but how does Groose factor in?
Well, if we assume Demise is dead with only his Malice left behind, and that Ganondorf's spirit didn't come from Demise…
You see where I'm going with this.
(Yes I will admit this is a stretch because ganon is a serious character and groose is… groose. But LOZ still takes itself 100% seriously despite how ridiculous some parts of it is, and I'm having fun with this crack theory so consider: I do what I want)
“But ganon is evil! And they’re so different!” yes. I’m getting to that
What are Groose's most prominent character traits? Tall, muscly, red hair, very mean-spirited and selfish (at least before he pulls himself together and helps Link, who he originally hated due to his crush on Zelda). He isn’t very smart, and he isn’t all that brave compared to Link, he’s mostly driven by his personal desires (for better and for worse), and usually resorts to brute force to achieve his goals.
If you've noticed a pattern, you would be correct: these character traits all align closely to the holder of the triforce of power.
(insert thonk emoji)
There's also that one crack theory already floating around that the Gerudo are distantly related to Groose because of his dumbass red hair and that Demise keeps reincarnating as a Gerudo because of the fact that Groose catapulted bombs at his face, so y'know. There's also that
Anyway that's my spicy crack theory for the day
The spirit of Ganondorf actually came from Groose, and the Demon King/Calamity came from Demise
Obviously I don’t ACTUALLY believe this theory but yknow. what if lmao
(im aware of all the less than fun implications that comes with this crack take, but that's for another day)

I wouldn’t write this fic, but…
I have this idea for a loz fanfic that takes place prior to Rauru and Sonia establishing the kingdom of Hyrule, back when the zonai first descended from the heavens.
Because there’s no Hyrule yet, Zelda isn’t a princess, but she is a priestess, blessed with hearing Hylia’s voice, and that makes her special within the village. She has prophetic dreams that their world will soon be visited by a god-like civilization, and her words ignite both excitement and anxiety amongst the various Hylian settlements.
Link is still there. He’s a warrior, the most talented among his peers, and granted the privilege of being Zelda’s chosen champion. They also happen to be childhood friends, so their relationship is kinda inspired by Skyward Sword.
Impa is also there. The Sheikah tribe exists to protect the divine priestess herself, rather than the royal family. Impa is forever by Zelda’s side, as a bodyguard and friend. Though Impa has her usual severe disposition, her devotion is not to Zelda as the priestess, but as her closest companion.
Though, while Link and Impa are both friends with Zelda, their relationship is a little strained. Link’s goblin antics and leap-without-looking approach to life frequently leaves Impa doubting his ability to keep Zelda safe. And while generally Link bears her criticism without comment, at times he will solemnly thank her for her invaluable insight, and Impa can never tell if he’s being sincere or sarcastic.
When the zonai come, they are led by a king, whose sole daughter is Midna. Like all zonai, she has a distinctly draconic appearance, and she also happens to be the most skilled practitioner of magic within her tribe. However, Midna is also her usual mischievous self. She quickly makes it her mission to tease Link at every given opportunity.
The story would have Link/Midna and Zelda/Impa, with queerplatonic Link & Zelda.
Other possible characters might include incarnations of Groose/Gonzo, Medli/Mipha, Zant/Kohga, Navi/Ilia, Sidon, Revali, Riju, Yunobo, and, of course, Beedle.
Idk what role Ganondorf would play, if any. I think it would be neat to include a male Gerudo prince who isn’t evil, for once. (Maybe the Groose/Gonzo incarnation can take this role?) And maybe Ganondorf can be one of the zonai? That would be interesting, because then the arrival of the zonai would lead to disaster, potentially causing a rift between the Hylians and the zonai.
(Perhaps Ganondorf’s zonai incarnation is the leader of the interlopers that attempted to steal the triforce, thus having their tribe banished to the Twilight Realm? Because until stated otherwise, I will continue to believe that the zonai are the ancestors of the Twili.)
Anyway, yeah. I don’t want to write this, but I cannot get this idea out of my head.

Yes, you are exactly right about totk!! A lot of my own complaints come from the story (or lack thereof). To be honest, it's a rare LOZ game that has a particularly complex or nuanced story, but in my opinion, the best ones more than make up for it with their characters.
My favorite game that I've played is Skyward Sword, and I desparately want to play Wind Waker, because the both of them have such fun and compelling characters that I don't really mind the simplicity of the narratives (and Wind Waker even hints at nuance the other games won't dive into!)
Tears of the Kingdom tries to use plot driven storytelling, but... expects us to be far more invested than most of us ever really are. There's hints of character driven story in there, but it all just falls flat in the end and feels really superficial, ESPECIALLY when you look at how they treat the women in this game. Zelda is JUST the sacrificial maiden (again) whose only autonomy comes from choosing to give up her autonomy. Mineru is JUST the smart character who magically technobabbles the solutions. Purah is JUST the scientist that tells you where to go. Most indicative of Nintendo's attitude in this, to me, is with Riju. The way they treat her, it's clear they want her to fill the role of the sexy one, but they know that won't go well if they go all out because she was canonically a young child in the last game. Still really gross, Nintendo you're not subtle.
All this to say that TOTK thinks it's more clever than if is, and fails to pull its own weight in any meaninful way.
All of this!!
I’ll add a bit more that I forgot to add:
Yea usually zelda games have simple plots overall (with some expectations of course) but they do make up for it with memorable characters, etc, etc…
My favorite zelda game is Ocarina of Time cause of the lore (also gameplay of course) and the how interesting it is to me and the overall themes it goes into being tragic and relatable, even tho the surface story is simple overall.(the hero of time games being my favs cause of the story driven nature yet also have fun gameplay) Also other games like skyward sword having a good engaging story with good characters (Groose is the best), wind waker being a simple coming of age story, but also having the king and ganondorf both cling on to the past, etc.
Like you said totk thinks it’s clever and fails to deliver on making us invested in a meaningful and exciting narrative, in a way it’s using tropes from previous zelda games like oot, botw, SS and link to the past without even knowing why they worked in the first place. While failing to reuse tho tropes in a more unique way like previous games have done. It’s true there are hints of character driven story it’s just ignored or mentioned in a half assed way.
Also like I said in the post the lack of consequences with the main story at the end, like Link’s arm just being restored even tho furry rauru had said it was beyond saving, and zelda being recalled back to normal, so her “sacrifice” was not worth it at all (master sword is also worse somehow like wtf zelda)
I’ve also noticed the way totk treats the main women it’s very not good, like you said with zelda she’s just sacrificial maiden turned into a dragon, mineru being exposition dump lady cause that’s all she does tbh, also has the worst Sage ability in the whole game, etc.
zelda being the worst one. (Tbh botw/totk zelda is mixed overall she’s overrated) cause she’s dumb as hell didn’t even recognize that Ganondorf and Calamity Ganon could be related, she does nothing until furry rauru and sonia are dead. Also being a terrible princess, she didn’t even do any meaningful things to hyrule’s rebuilding efforts other than build a school and some small memorials and fuck around doing whatever the hell she was doing pre totk. Also she stole links house damn it.
there’s also the way the gerudo are treated in the zelda series as a whole, but that’s a whole other topic others have done better at that. Like with totk and botw (mostly totk) being helpless yet also warriors needing help from hylians to even survive in their own home?! Like how ingame they explain that zelda of all people was the one to help them get to know the desert and how to survive better wtf? And the secret heroine side quest end, how it’s just some random hylian guy to be the hidden 8th. (There goes the 7 sages and the 8th being the hero of time theory)
Also the way the botw events are treated. they just pretend that none of the ancient tech never existed at all and refuse to mention anything about botw, only in small passes. And the side quest with the Hateno school mentioning the original calamity.
The depths having potential to be better but we’re just empty and massive instead, I like the bargainer statues those are cool as an concept. And the sky islands being boring and copy paste the same few islands throughout.
Holy shit this game makes me write entire essays of complaints. I’m sorry if I repeat myself I’m terrible at explaining stuff at times.
Now I’m going to play the zelda games I’ve never finished to cleanse myself of totk.

@astrolabe-blade Hope you don't mind me picking up on these tags (and treating them vaguely seriously, oops)!
I did consider a "mini split" for the timeline, but honestly? with all the time shenanigans, regressed character arcs, and knowledge that should not exist yet (within each temporal bubble), there would be no "mini" split. There would be multiple major splits
Let's take Skyloft as an example: HW Link goes there, finds it overrun by enemies and half destroyed, and Fi and the Master Sword still up there. There's some knights and soldiers around, but that's all we hear about in terms of humans/Hylians. When they get to the Sealed Grounds, Girahim is already there trying to summon the Imprisoned (aka. Demise in demon form), and Girahim succeeds! And then the player has to stop the Imprisoned. It's admittedly not Demise revived, but it's still the Imprisoned freed from its prison. Oh, and there's at least one Groosenator present
Let's look at the SS timeline, point by point:
Fi and the Master Sword
SS Link draws the Master Sword, with Fi, on Skyloft at the start of his journey, and puts her to rest in the temple by the Sealed Grounds on the Surface at the end of his journey
This means HW Link would have to arrive to Skyloft before SS takes place
The Imprisoned
A point in SS is that, when SS Link comes to the Surface, he has to prove himself by repairing the seal of the Imprisoned, because the seal has breaks shortly after he arrives. He does this a number of times throughout SS. At the end of SS, the Imprisoned becomes Demise, who's then defeated and killed by SS Link, the only thing surviving being his curse on the Hero's Spirit
If Girahim is to summon the Imprisoned, the HW scenario has to happen before or in the early stages of SS, which would work out fine with the previous point about Fi and the Master Sword, but the last point breaks it
The Groosenator
This is a catapult device created by Groose in SS to aid SS Link in defeating and re-sealing the Imprisoned
For the Groosenator to exist at all, SS Link has to have gone on his journey already, but why are Fi and the Master Sword on Skyloft then? why is the Imprisoned still there?
Either the Groosenator breaks the timeline, or Fi, the Master Sword, and the Imprisoned break the timeline, and these would all be pretty significant breaks (at least the latter three — the Groosenator is up for debate)
Of course, if we look at it from a purely commercial view, the game developers wanted to have a little bit of everything and leave Easter eggs for LoZ fans
But if we're looking at the internal mechanics? If we're trying to explain it within the lore? It would create a timeline where either Groose has somehow made it to the Surface long before SS Link, and been living down there long enough to build the Groosenator, or a timeline where SS Link failed (or at least only had a partial success, and managed to return Demise to the Sealed Grounds and bring Fi and the Master Sword back to Skyloft)
These are, if course, fun theories to explore, but could ultimately lead to pretty significant time shenanigans — even removing the portals and returning everyone to their respective timelines wouldn't repair the type of break we're considering here, because the break isn't caused by Cia messing with time, but would have to have happened beforehand, in preparation for her messing with it
We could, of course, have a discussion about alternate realities, and what if every time we make a choice, a new reality is created in which we made a different choice, but then we're getting into the philosophical realm and an adjacent debate
.
In response to these posts about HW: part 1, part 2

Describing it as being like home is actually pretty accurate yeah.
And YES! I am totally willing to talk about my modern AU.
I've been calling it the Adoption AU because Time ends up adopting all of the boys. It mostly started as, I saw an edit for a tweet someone did with Wars and Wild that involved Taco Bell (cannot remember the blog or post for the life of me though), and so I wrote a thing about Warriors sneaking out of his university dorm to pick up Wild, who snuck out the window despite his broken arm, and then got extorted by Legend in exchange for silence at 3am.
This was followed by a fic where Groose decided spray painting a public building was a good idea and got himself and Sky arrested, set earlier in the timeline.
So then I made a timeline. Twilight is Time and Malon's biological son, and he found Wild on the side of the road one day (Wild's backstory involves a bad car wreck and an underground hospital, but no conspiracy bullshit. Yet). Wild has no memory, so they keep him. Wild brings home Legend, who was told his uncle died at school before a holiday. They then also keep Legend. Malon finds Four in her barn one morning for complicated reasons, and they keep him too. Twilight finds Warriors, who is in his class, hiding in an alley one day after he ran away from an abusive home and brings him home too. SS Impa (who I've nicknamed Shield because there are enough prominent Impas here that they should get nicknames too) is a social worker who's trying to find Sky a home and has run out of options, and turns to Time, who has a record of successfully housing 'unhousable' youths, and asks if he can take one more. He can. Wild finds Hyrule and brings him home because 'Rule needs a shower even more than Wild does. Hyrule stays. Wind's grandma ends up with Wind and his sister but can't financially take care of both and so Wind ends up with the boys and everyone is +1 Grandma.
Twilight has a fic detailing how he knows Midna and Dusk and I ended up shooting him (oops) but at least their social project gets handed in on time.
Then I started hashing out Time's backstory and suddenly this AU had plot. And organized crime. And a conspiracy. And secret societies.
The summarized version is that the gems from OoT are like, Idk what they do yet. Haven't gotten to a point where I need to figure that out yet. But they are Important and have to be carefully guarded. The Great Deku Tree (just called Deku because he's not a tree here) was Time's foster father before Ganondorf killed him. Also, Ganondorf is Deku's half brother. Because. However Time 'stole' the Emerald and he and Navi ran until OoT Impa (Sage) and Lullaby found them. So Time got adopted into Lullaby's family. Ruto inherited the Sapphire from her mother who also died from mysterious circumstances, and Darunia has the Ruby. Lullaby got the Ocarina from her late paternal grandmother.
Then Ganon finds them and tries to steal the Emerald from Time, so Lullaby goes looking for help and thus finds the sages. Saria is an anonymous hacker who uses the screen name 'Kokiri'. Time reveals he didn't steal the Emerald, he was Deku's heir, and then Navi goes missing. Time is home worried enough that he's physically sick, and Ganon decides to try and attack the home. Only Lullaby's family is Olde Money, and they live in a big, old manor, so Lullaby as Sheik decides to play 'Home Alone' with the secret passages in the walls and they piss off Ganon because when did that brat get a sheikah bodyguard??? Sage and Rottla (Lullaby's mother, who is fully sheikah as well) rush home from a thing and Kokiri is running a play by play watching the security cameras.
I pull in my headcanon that Time was killed in the Downfall Timeline by getting impaled on Ganon's tusk and Ganondorf stabs him with the tusk of a mounted boar head and then Sheik shows up to protect his brother, and then Mama gets home and is not happy to find this man in her home attacking her kids. Time is fine, but Navi stays missing. (She's alive tho.)
Also, Time's foster dad was the last leader of a secret society known as The Order of The Lost Woods, and Time learns this upon meeting Tatl, who gets him sucked into another event that would probably make a good action movie. I have thought too much about the Order and it's hierarchy, but what's important here is that Time ends up with a standing job offer and Tatl and he remain friends and we find out how I fit FD into this AU. It's not pretty. This is where Time loses his eye too.
The AoC came out and I added that Link in as Wild's twin brother and he shows up during the main plot.
Which starts with Twi getting kidnapped. (I'm not really meaner to him than the others, I swear, he's just the most logical choice to be Time's heir. Which he is. He doesn't know this though.)
So he's kidnapped by Ganondorf, who broke out of jail, Zant, who shot Twi in highschool, and Ghirahim, who has some history with Sky I haven't fleshed out yet and a very public rivalry with Warriors over twitter. About six weeks later Sage finds him in an abandoned warehouse (because of course) with a shackle on his left arm and a lot of new injuries. He ends up fine, but he tells Time later in the hospital what happened and he's both message and messenger and Time is this close to just committing murder. Tatl talks him down.
Somewhere here is the half finished fic where I introduce AoC Link as Luke/Knight, and this is as far as I've plotted thus far.
Other tidbits: Wild and Lullaby/Sheik are both genderfluid, Lullaby/Sheik married Ruto, Wild has a very popular YouTube channel, Twi does drag racing sometimes, Sky has a pet bird, Four has DID to explain how the Colours are here too, and Wolfie exists in the form of a random wolf-dog Wild found and brought home that Legend somehow convinced half the family was Twilight. Also, Warriors has somehow befriended an entire sorority and he doesn't know how this happened.
This... got long. As you can see I have a lot of thoughts about the Adoption AU. It's gotten a bit away from me, I'll admit. This went from 'Wild does stunts on his motorbike and keeps breaking bones but somehow not the bike' to 'Twilight got kidnapped and Time is the target of a mafia that Ganon runs and also maybe killed a man once' and I don't know how that happened. Also, this is the condensed version of the summary. My actual summary/outline is much, much longer than this. So if there's any detail you want more on, feel free to say so and I'll happily go into more detail (there are so many things I didn't even mention....)
And yes, Robbie having a bong is very important to my best friend, for some reason. He has one in a modern AU and he probably invented one in canon. I happen to agree that this makes sense for his character, if anyone would invent a bong in LoZ it's Robbie (this is such an anticlimactic end to this ask after the stuff about the modern AU...)
Also, sorry for the long ass ask. I genuinely don't know how to condense the Adoption Au down any further. There's a lot of important plot beats to cover, and I still skipped things.
-Attllhak
oh my GOD???? if you ever write and post this somewhere id love to read it, the level of "crazy" conspiracy/action movie elements implemented sound sosososo cool, from Ganondorf being Deku's half brother to trying to "send a message" via Twi and- just- all of this is SO good.i sat here and reread this ask like 3 times as if that would magically spawn more info about it ahaha
there's so much to unpack here but it's honestly so worth it i love every single detail!!! i can imagine the actual outline being way longer, nad honestly that just makes me the more excited/curious about all that might be missing from this ask - i cant believe it started with Wild and Wars going to Taco Bell of all things
also i can totally see Robbie making a bong, no matter the setting or AU. fits him a lot I'd say
and dont worry about long asks!! i adore opening up my askbox to see one ask take over the entire thing, it makes me really happy aha

New Hyrule Warriors Characters I’d Love to See
So for stress relief lately, I’ve been going back to Hyrule Warriors Definitive, unlocking all the weapons and working on finishing the adventure maps.  So of course, this put it in my head to think of other characters I’d like to see if a theoretical HW2 happened, like, keep the cast and add on to it as most Warriors games tend to do.  So here are some I’d love to see.
Groose
C’mon, he needs to be in.  Myself, I’ve never played Skyward Sword (rumors of it getting a Switch port make me hopeful), so I don’t know TOO much about him other than his hair’s amazing.  Kit suggested he have a portable Groosinator for his weapon, a cannon he carries under his arm, and for sweeping attacks could swing it outward by its fuse.
Dampe
He’s been in a few games now, and there’s a fitting common LoZ item he could use for his weapon that hasn’t been referenced at all in HW : the Shovel.  Obviously he could swing it around, swipe it through the air for attacks, but over on my Twitter, it was suggested we could reference his “gravekeeper” job by having him dig up undead type enemies for support, like Stalfos, Poes, and Redeads.
Mipha
One has to figure a HW2 would add some BotW content, and for starters, I’d love to see the four champions.  I mean, hey, HW is all about time and dimension bending shenanigans, so I’m sure we can excuse having them around and alive.  I could see Mipha actually having more of a “support” type special attack.  They’ve done things like this in Dynasty Warriors before.  Like, she’d have a spear based moveset for her weapon based on her trident (BUT GANONDORF ALREADY HAS A TRIDENT, eh, some warriors have similar weapons with different movesets, so I think we can get away with it).  But I could see her special attack doing some damage, but also healing allies around herself.
Revali
Yep, continuing on.  Thing is, while the Bow is an item, and does show up in a few other movesets here and there (Zelda’s special attack, part of Ravio’s combos), we don’t have anyone that SPECIALIZES in just using a bow, so he could fill that niche nicely.  I’m sure there’s some way to work his Revali’s Gale power into the moveset, likely his special.
Daruk
The trick would be making him different enough from Darunia, but he does have a totally different weapon in that sort of “club sword” he carries, forget exactly what it was named in game.  He too could probably use his power in a support way, granting a defense buff to allies in the area where he uses it.
Urbosa
I could see her having a nice, fluid attack string with her scimitar, elegant and dance-like.  Naturally her special would have her snap her fingers and call down lightning.
Kass
.......What?  Warriors games are no stranger to silly “joke” characters, and honestly I love the idea of running across the battlefield as a large bird and clobbering enemies with an accordion.
Beedle
He’s been in enough of the games to where I feel like he deserves to get in.  I’m admittedly not quite sure what he’d do though.  I mean, we have Ravio, showing the idea of a fighting merchant can work, but Beedle’s stock doesn’t really have much in the way of weapons or such, does it?
Linebeck
I honestly thought we were going to get him in the Phantom Hourglass / Spirit Tracks DLC pack.  He just seems like someone who should be there, you know?  I’d guess his weapon would be his spyglass, though as to how it would work, I’m at a loss there.
Shad
The Resistance from Twilight Princess struck me as having some interesting characters, and Shad was my personal favorite.  He does have that book with a dagger in it, I could see him using the book to put buffs on himself for his dagger attacks or something.
Ashei
I also really liked Ashei’s style, again we have the “similar weapons” deal, but her focused nature I think could lend itself to a different form of rapier fighting.
Vaati
Obviously we could also use more villains, and I feel like Vaati’s probably a major enough one to get a nod.  Admittedly I haven’t played many of the games where he featured, so I don’t remember that much about him, but he’s just one of those that feels like he should be there.
Twinrova
One of the rare instances where there’s a boss that’s probably humanoid enough to work as a warrior, I could see her having fire and ice attacks as different charges in her attack string.
The Lady
Because hey, the villain side could use a joke character too.  I feel like The Lady from Tri Force Heroes would fit the bill here, rapid jabs with her closed parasol, lines mocking the lack of style of her opponents, possibly even moves referencing the powers of some of the costumes from the game.
Also, two new weapons I’d like to see for existing characters :
Sheikah Slate for Sheik
One could make the case that it would be more fitting for Link or Zelda to use it, but, eh. they already both have multiple weapons.  Sheik just has her harp.  And I mean, technically Sheik IS Zelda, sooooo....  I think it would be fun for her to have attack strings casting runes from the slate, using Magnesis to pull out metal cubes and sweep them around for attacks, Stasis for her special, Bombs of course, I feel like there’s a lot they could do with it.
Four Sword for Toon Link
Really I just like the idea of controlling a mob of four Toon Links running around in different formations.  Perhaps a neutral charge would change their formation a bit.  Either that or the clones would just jump in during parts of attack strings or something.

Note
loz for the fandom post
[This post]
1. The first character I fell in love with: Skyward Sword Link, I believe! I just really felt his struggle to find his good bud Zelda… Oh that amber scene still hits hard.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:I’ll list a few, if that’s okay! First of all Groose, I love Groose, what a good dude. Second of all A Link Between Worlds Zelda, she’s kind of boring but her design is great and I like bubbly characters- Also she’s great in Smash Ultimate.
Finally hm… Hero of time, actually. OOT just doesn’t vibe with me, and for the longest time Majora’s didn’t feel very interesting for Link as a character, but oh boy, oh boy was I wrong. Now he’s one of my favourite Links!
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t:Okay this is, going to need a bit of an explanation- But I don’t especially like Breath of the Wild’s Zelda. She’s not a bad character, honestly one of the better written Zeldas in the franchise, but that’s where my problem lies.
They wrote this very interesting character arc for her, with beautiful cutscenes and everything, only to just kind of ignore it at the end. All that time in emotional hell over not being able to unlock her power, only to just kinda unlock it and be punished for it even further by locking her in a struggle for a 100 years?? What’s the pay off there??
Furthermore when she shows up at the end, I felt like I was meeting a whole different Zelda than what I was shown in the memory cutscenes, and not in the good way. I did not see any chemistry between LInk and Zelda in the memories, even platonic kind- It just felt like they were stuck together due to circumstance, so her being so glad to see Link again?? I can’t say I’m buying it.
Now this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t like her, far from it. It’s all very personal and I absolutely respect those who do love her.
I just wish Nintendo wasn’t a coward and didn’t settle for “You saved the princess and she loves you” ending.
(I love Skyward Sword Zelda by the way, but I recognize that she has the same problems- But worse, that I am saying botw Zelda has. The reason for my forgiveness of writing flaws with her is nostalgia.)
(Furthermore, the reason my favourite Zelda is someone so clearly a damsel in distress and a manic pixie dream girl (albw), despite me being someone who looks at issues like this with a negative eye in media, is because at least they aren’t trying to sell her as anything else. I can’t be disappointed for what I’m expecting. I can however be disappointed seeing what I could’ve gotten, if only they hadn’t been cowards.)
4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
…Tingle? At least my brother really hates the guy. Now Tingle sucks big time, but it’s sort of a love-to-hate kind of thing?? If that doesn’t count then… Hm…
Ghirahim? Some people dislike him, right? I get it, he’s kind of a nasty gay trope, but looking past that he is an interesting villain with a really neat aesthetic going on, and I don’t think we talk enough about how self-destructive his devotion to demise is. That’s some interesting character stuff to explore.
5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer: This is a ridiculously tough one… Uuuh… I used to like the SS cast a lot more when I was younger…? Now I feel like there should be just a tad more.
6. The character I would totally smooch: Twilight Princess Zelda, Fi, Midna’s true form… I’m a simple Lesbian! I want to h*ld h*nds with gorgeous women!!
7. The character I’d want to be like: Hm… I love myself a bit too much to considering wanting to be like someone else, fictional or not, but I do admire Link in many of the games for many reasons. Wish I had the bravery to fight for things I care about more.
8. The character I’d slap: Tingle? Zant? Ghirahim? Ganon?Less obivous picks?
Uuhm… I guess whoever’s fault it is that Link has had to go on journies as a 12ish year old more than once.
9. A pairing that I love:I don’t really ship anything when it comes to LOZ
10. A pairing that I despise:Besides the obvious nasty ones… Hm…
No, I don’t think there’s one I outright despise that isn’t just a gross ship. As long as it’s two consenting adults it’s hard for me to say much more than “It’s not my thing.”

Alright I didn’t want to hijack the last post I reblogged due to me wanting to talk through the context of the game about this while the last post went more into the real-world politics and reasonings behind why we’re getting this specific narrative (completely accurate btw), so I’m talking about it here.
Where did Ganondorf, and by extention the Gerudo, come from? Well, lemme tangent a bit and we’ll get there.
Working within the narrative, Demise promised that he will always fight ‘the blood of the Goddess and the soul of the hero’ (paraphrased). The fact that those two always have Wisdom and Courage seems to me like there’s some wonky shit at play, (especially in the games where Ganondorf is not the villain) because bloodlines and souls should not be so homogenous. I mean, why is the soul of the hero always a blond haired, blue eyed ambiguously male character, and the blood of the goddess the same Except A Woman? The only notable exceptions I can find to this rule is Twilight Princess (dark haired Zelda) and the Wind Waker trilogy (Link’s eyes are green-blue in the first game, I checked with an eyedropper tool, and his character art for PH and ST both depict brown eyes). So Link and Zelda almost always look the same as their original selves (Skyward Sword in this case). But Demise has no characteristics besides ‘muscular strong guy’ that can be easily connected to Ganondorf other than pallet similarities, so what gives?
Tumblr media
I don’t think that Ganondorf’s looks came from Demise, and this holds a more despicable intention.
Now in the ‘official canon’ (which is kinda bullshit but that’s for another day), Skyward Sword only has the Humans of Skyloft. There are no mentions of the Gerudo in this game, which would imply that they are descendants of Skyloft that settled in the desert due to one reason or another. Looking at the residents of Skyloft, there’s only a handful that have darker skin (or at least, not light-skinned Japanese/white-passing); Owlan, Horwell, Gordo, Greba, and Beedle. But their skin coloring is mostly washed out or not as dark as the Gerudo we’ve seen, and a lot of their traits don’t match up. I don’t see any of them besides Beedle leaving any Surfaceworld settlements, and I don’t think that Beedle would stray far from what is effectively his only market so soon. So where did the Gerudo come from?
I don’t like the answer, but considering the most narrative sense and physical traits, it would be Groose.
Tumblr media
Now the most obvious connection is that, like Ganondorf, both have yellow eyes and red hair. But Groose being the ancestor of the Gerudo? Not the most plausible at first, especially seeing how love-struck he is over Zelda and I doubt he would want to leave. But consider this; Why are their reincarnations of Link, Zelda, and Impa, but not Groose? Groose becomes a friend of Link and Zelda’s by the end of Skyward Sword, arguably a better returning character than Impa who is relegated to the roles of ‘stoic Sheikah’ and ‘Zelda’s nursemaid/protector’.
My theory is this: Demise wanted to really drive home to the Goddess Hylia (now Zelda) that she’ll never escape her fate, and what would hit harder than using your friend against you? I believe that Link and Zelda weren’t the only ones cursed that day, that Groose was cursed as well to become the vessel that Demise would use.
This is how I think the generations after Skywards Sword played out: Half of Groose’s line (most likely lead by a son or grandson) left due to disagreement towards the desert, where the Time Crystals could help them with the water and flora needed to start a new life. The other half (most likely lead by a daughter or granddaughter) stayed and practiced the ways of the Sheikah, continuing on Impa’s culture and people in honor of her (remember that old lady Impa and Groose got along well and he really liked her, so I believe Groose would want to preserve her memory in any way possible).
Later on, Demise would possess the patriarch of the Gerudo and continue his cycle for eternity, fighting the reincarnated Links and Zeldas with the sons of their ancestors’ friend. I think, to a goddess of the light who sent the humans to the sky just for them to be safe from Demise, one of her ‘children’ who her vessel and her champion were personally close to would be the biggest fuck you.
Of course, this is all taking from the games themselves into account and not the personal biases and rascist/majority supremacist subtext of the narrative. If this was all actually canon the above would be a disgusting boiling down of a whole entire race and their beliefs, history, and culture into ‘came from a white man’, but considering how the only common sentient life found in Skyward Sword are the Mogmas, the Kikwis, and the Gorons, it’s not likely that there were any survivors left by the time Link went down. There IS Impa, but her role as the Servant of the Goddess may have protected her more than we thought (I.e. she may have been the only Sheikah left).
Groose is the only Skyloftian to resemble the Gerudo, it would make sense for Demise to really want to hammer home how much he despises Link and Hylia/Zelda, and Groose became close to Impa by the end of the game so him wanting to preserve her memory and keep her culture alive isn’t too out of left field. But the implications of the only two non-Hylian, non-homogeneously white races in LoZ coming from, yet again, a man who is a part of a majority population of fair-skinned people (Remember; To Americans he may be white-coded, but to the Japanese audience/developers he would be Japanese-coded) are very unsettling.
So, to summarize: In the context of the games, Groose being the ancestor of the Gerudo (and possibly the modern Sheikah) would make narrative, character, and plot sense. However, in the context of this being the intent or ‘canonical’, it reflects badly on the writers that a white or pale skinned-passing man is the progenitor of at least one non-white race in LoZ.

FE3H x LoZ
Hey, I saw that you enjoyed my Zelda AU so I decided to expand upon it! This includes eight students for each house, and even strengths based on the Three Houses weapon types. Also for convenience all of the students are Hylian/Gerudo/basically human.
To set the scene, the Gerudo Empire is in the desert to the west, the Kingdom of Hyrule is in the north and east, and the Ordon Alliance is in the forests to the south. The main religion is the Church of Hylia, and the Officer’s Academy is still in the center of the continent because the name sounds generic enough. The curse of Demise exists, but records of it have been lost to time and none of the students are aware of it (cue emotional revelations and plot twists).
CRIMSON BOARS
Since there are so few Gerudo characters of actual plot relevance, I decided to include Ganon’s other allies from across the series, plus a few wild cards.
Ganondorf - house leader. Heir to the Gerudo Empire. Strong and very physically capable, as well as a firm leader. Strengths: Lance, Brawl, Reason, Authority
Ghirahim - Ganondorf’s cunning retainer. Only really ever thinks about himself and his master. Strengths: Sword, Reason
Cia - used to be a warm, angelic girl when she was little, but has become the opposite since then. She idolizes Ganondorf, but also admires Link from afar. Strengths: Faith, Authority, Flying
Lorenz Zant - a foreign exchange student from Twili, a faraway archipelago. Only friends with the people in his class, and hates everyone else. Especially despises Midna. Strengths: Brawl, Reason, Flying
Urbosa - probably the nicest person in the class. Has a motherly attitude. Very strong and protective of her allies. Strengths: Sword, Bow
Astrid - a quiet girl who is almost always studying. Also has an obsession with fortune telling. Strengths: Faith, Reason
Onox - son of an imperial general. Large and built, and loves training. Always agrees with Ganondorf. Strengths: Axe, Brawl, Heavy Armor
Ruto - daughter of a wealthy noble from Hyrule who became close to the emperor, but she does not always approve of the Empire’s methods. Very flirty, and has many admirers. Strengths: Lance, Riding
AZURE OWLS
These characters are all either Sages, Champions, or Resistance members.
Zelda - house leader. Crown princess of the Kingdom of Hyrule. Extremely smart, and though usually kind, can be cold and relentless on the battlefield. Strengths: Bow, Reason, Riding, Authority
Impa - rescued by Zelda during the Tragedy of Sheikah and has become her faithful retainer since then. Often found accompanying Zelda or praying. Strengths: Sword, Lance, Faith
Revali - son of a renowned warrior in the Kingdom. Thinks very highly of himself and looks down on those who are physically weaker than him. Often trains to the point of intense fatigue. Strengths: Bow, Flying
Mipha - a shy, quiet girl who mostly keeps to her room. Dotes on those who are injured despite her introverted nature. Strengths: Lance, Brawl, Faith
Medli - daughter of a famous musician. Incredibly skilled at playing the harp and dreams of becoming a star as well. Kind to everyone she meets, but has a reputation for being clumsy. Strengths: Axe, Flying, Authority
Byrne - A quiet student who often goes unnoticed. However, he is immensely skilled in battle, which tends to surprise people given how often he disappears during training. Strengths: Sword, Brawl, Heavy Armor
Shad - a scholarly student who is extremely interested in history. Will approach any random student to help him with his research. Unlikely friend to Ashei. Strengths: Faith, Reason
Ashei - the daughter of a noble, but she would rather be a knight than an heiress. Blunt and sometimes downright undignified. Unlikely friend to Shad. Strengths: Sword, Axe, Riding
VERDANT WOLVES
These characters are Link’s friends and companions from throughout the series.
Link - house leader. Future leader of the Ordon Alliance, though born a commoner. Kind and genuine, as well as very charismatic, but hides insecurities. Strengths: Sword, Faith, Riding, Authority
Ravio - son of a merchant family. Very close to Link, almost like a brother. Quite lazy, and would rather scam people than study. Strengths: Axe, Bow, Flying
Midna - the princess of Twili, who came to the Academy as a foreign exchange student. Admired by many for her beauty and charm. Incredibly snarky and mischievous, and often gets into trouble. Strengths: Lance, Reason, Flying
Saria - the youngest student at the Academy. A sweet and charitable girl who loves animals and feels at home around nature. Strengths: Bow, Faith
Daruk - a noble who dreams of becoming an accomplished knight. Very friendly and outgoing, but has a fear of dogs. Strengths: Brawl, Heavy Armor, Authority
Fi - a girl who is very religious and is usually found praying. Very analytical and excels in her studies. Often responds to her peers without emotion, and many have never seen her smile. Strengths: Sword, Flying
Groose - Link’s self-proclaimed rival. Always trying to one-up Link, much to Link’s exasperation. Has a massive crush on Zelda, and is willing to join the Azure Owls for free. Strengths: Axe, Lance, Brawl
Malon - a farmer girl from the Ordonian countryside. Works extremely hard, as it took a lot for her father to send her to the Academy. Known for her distinct singing voice. Strengths: Bow, Reason, Riding
OTHER NOTES
Despite moving some things around, such as their locations on the map and certain events like the Tragedy of Sheikah (Duscur), the nations here are loosely based on those in Three Houses: Hyrule = Adrestia, Gerudo = Faerghus, and Ordon = Leicester. (oh and Twili = Brigid)
Though Hyrule is a KINGDOM and Gerudo is an EMPIRE, Hyrule is larger because Gerudo is still growing and expanding. However by the timeskip Gerudo won’t have grown much because of Hyrule’s declaration of war.
The Tragedy of Sheikah basically went as follows: the people of the Sheikah region were close allies of the royal family, but were then blamed for the mass assassination of several nobles, including the queen. In retaliation, Hyrule massacred the people of Sheikah.
Since elements were pulled from many LoZ games, the three house leaders aren’t based on any specific incarnation. However, if I had to pick, Ganondorf would be from Ocarina of Time, Zelda would be from Breath of the Wild, and Link would be from Twilight Princess.
I haven’t really thought of who would be the leader of the church, or the faculty, or the equivalent of Byleth, but then again it’s not like this has to be an exact copy of Three Houses anyway. However I do think that Telma would make a wonderful stand-in for Manuela.
There are still cats in the Monastery (speaking of the monastery, I don’t have a name for it). Link and Saria give them the most attention.
I hope you enjoyed this!

notes from bae: OK ROUND TWO.... LET’S TRY SUBMITTING THIS AGAIN....
in short: HJHGDSFGFSGJDFSHD??? JDGFSHGFHS??? I LOVE THIS??? I LOVE THIS??
this is so well thought out im going to cry. instead, I am just going to go through everything in order (prob not ) and scream at things i want to point out
'no one knows about the curse of Demise until later' IM BWUBWUWBWUBBWUB NOO.... NOOO..... THIS IS GOING TO TEAR APART FRIENDSHIPS..... i NEED to see the confrontations after this, because.... that's so heartbreaking and I don't want to imagine it... but i Need to see it :((
i AdOre how you incorporate characters from across the games, too. seeing chars like Byrne, Onox and Astrid make my lil Zelda heart happy...
and speaking of the characters, I love the strengths you gavce them!!! and the backstories... because this REALLy makes me want to see their supports. can you imagine.... Midna and Zant, Ravio and Revali, Groose and Zelda, Groose and everyone, Link and Ghirahim trying to hold a friendly conversation (which. oh dear. doesn’t work)... there is SO MUCH POTENTIAL and i can only IMAGINE!!
if you have any story details sketched out, I NEED to know!! i esp liked how you adapted the tragedy of Duscur to the tragedy of Sheikah, since there’s already hints of hostility towards the Sheikah in 10,000yrs ago-BotW, so it’s definitely not remiss that they wouldn’t be blamed ;; and this also makes me intrigued about Zelda’s motives!! Why does Hyrule declare war? because of her own personal reasons pertaining to the tragedy? in response to the Empire? something else entirely??
same with Ganondorf.... WHAT makes him declare war.... because I don’t think it’s just a case of conquer n conquer..... eyes emoji....
(and ofc our boy Lonk. with the best team, imo.... I Love the Verdant Wolves. would join them ASAP. they look like the house with the most Chaos but ALSO a lot of POWER...)
ESSENTIALLY I JUST NEED STORY DETAILS and house leader interactions!!! because, pre-timeskip, the triforce trio are friendly?? Yes??? And then it all falls apart??? Yes???????
TELMA AS MANUELA. PLEASE. PLEEEEEEAAASE..... she’d be absolutely fantastic!!! I also think we could have Kaepora Gaebora in replace of the white owl at the bulletin boards. Just for some friendly little advice...
and of course!! Link and Saria give the cats the most attention!! Saria plays the ocarina for them, and Link canonically picks them and runs around while giving them cuddles.... EXCELLENT....
I also think Ravio would be a very good replacement for Anna. y’know, just to get the best bargains for the Wolves.... maybe steal for them a house, too.....
LORENZ LOOKING LIKE ZANT I SDJHHDSFH WHY HAVENT I NOTICED THIS BEFORE IM GOING TO CRY. IC ANT LOOK AT LORENZ ANYMORE WITHOUT SEEING ZANT P L E A S E SAVE ME I DIDNT WANT THIIIIS
also? Groose joining the Owls without any recruitment requirements??? I. Groose ily but shUT UP STOP THAT!!! LINK Probably just facepalms mournfully.... who else is going to play around with the Groosenator with him :((
IN SHORT: I LOVE THIS. SO MUCH. IT HAS MADE MY DAY AND I AM GOING TO NEVER STOP THINKING ABOUT IT

Zelda nerd time
I'm sorry I love loz SO much and there's moments in time when I NEED to express myself.
So, Link has been reincarnated over and over again, same with Zelda and stuff, so one can only assume that other characters like npcs are also reincarnated. Maybe not every game, but you get my point.
I've started playing wind waker for the millionth time recently (the horse part on ocarina of time pissed me off so I stopped playing it. Rip.) And this character has always stood out to me, his name is Kamo. Take note of what he looks like.
Tumblr media
Kamo's story is that hes a melancholy romantic, and likes to look at the night sky. He was childhood friends with Linda, the orange dress girl, and has a crush on her. She, however, likes Anton, a much more happy go lucky guy. She ends up with Anton.
Now, I noticed today, that Kamo is REALLY similar to one of the characters from skyward sword: Cawlin, one of Groose's lackeys.
Tumblr media
They have similar hairstyles! Its poofy with a swoop in it. Outside of that, I feel as if they just have similar... Vibes? And similar stories. Cawlin's story is that he likes Karane, who rejects him. She likes Pipit instead, an all around more agreeable and conventionally attractive guy. They end up together too! Just like Linda and Anton. Also, this may be a little bit of a long shot, but Cawlin's love letter says this:
Tumblr media
I feel like that’s similar to Kamo's whole sky thing? The sky/constellations are wider than the horizon and deeper than the clouds. So it shows that Cawlin is a big romantic about the sky like Kamo is. Idk man, it’s far fetched but I’m such a nerd and I love thinking about these things.
Also if this is already obvious or canon or something and I just didn’t know (or just wildly untrue), I'm sorry, this is embarrassing :'D ill go home
ALSO !! AS A SIDE NOTE:
Groose and Ralph. This is one I’ve been thinking for awhile now actually. Think about it: they both hate Link, and have this silly "I'm better than you" attitude. In Skyward Sword, Zelda is kidnapped, and Groose keeps saying that hes going to be the one to save her, and not Link. In oracle of ages, Ralph says hes going to be the one to save Nayru, and not Link. If that doesn’t persuade you? THE RED HAIR SWOOP.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Idk. I'm just speculating. Let me know if you have any other thoughts, or other zelda characters that are similar enough to be possible incarnations. I'd love to hear more!!

On the naming of characters in this LoZ story:
I had at first thought to name the Gerudo daughters after various stars that have been the pole star through history, and ended up looking through a wikipedia list of all officially-named stars. I came across the Ancient Egyptian names for Sirius – Sopdat, and later Sothis. Meaning “the sharp one”, hieroglyph literally a triangle, and its rising just after sunset just before sunrise heralded the yearly flooding of the Nile. Sopdat broke a cardinal rule of naming kids, tho: if you can easily think up a mean rhyme, don’t use the name. “Stop that, Sopdat!!” Yeah, no.
So then I started looking for other Ancient Egyptian celestial names. It was pretty easy to find that Sah (with a voiced ‘h’) represents the constellation Orion (plus a bit) including the star Betelgeuse. Sirius and Betelgeuse are two of the three bright stars that make up the “Winter Triangle”, the third being Procyon. After a long digression learning about how to tell time at night and a brief detour into the Coptic alphabet, I figured out that Siti (with an aspirated ‘t’) should be a reasonable approximation to the Ancient Egyptian name for Procyon. Meaning is “tortoise”, hieroglyph is literally a cute li’l turtle.
Also, while looking through the star name list I kept noticing the constellation name “Grus”. I finally bothered to look what it was, and it’s a southern hemisphere constellation of a crane. I looked at a picture on the crane page and thought “wow, I can def see some parallels to Groose here! :D” So now I have a character percolating. Not sure if he’s a Shiekah with rare red hair instead of white, or if he’s an orphan raised by the Shiekah, but he’s an inventor and probably named Zhuravel which is derived from the Ukranian word for “crane”. And he’s probably going to work together with Siti on sekrit projects because tortoises and cranes show up together in various myths according to a ten-second scroll thru a wiki page :3
Meanwhile I still need to come up with a name for Gerudo mama :/

LE GASP!
Tagged by @sgt-rutters-only-darts-club-band
Rules: choose any three fandoms (in random order) and answer the questions, then tag 10 people you want to know better
Three fandoms:
Preacher
Legend of Zelda
Rick and Morty
The first character you loved:
Preacher:  Tulip! Freaking badass woman from the start -  if you say you don’t like her you are lying to yourself.
Legend of Zelda: Currently, Urbosa from Breath of the Wild is my favorite character. Just another badass lady, I can't help it.
RnM: Summer. Badass in training.
The character you never expected to love so much:
Preacher:  I sorta loved all the main characters right away, so I don’t know.
LoZ: Groose. He was cute once he finally pulled his head from his bum.
RnM: Mr. Poopybutthole. Really didn’t think he was charming at first, but his little snippets are usually enjoyable and his backstory grew on me.
The character you relate to the most:
Preacher: Whichever one is being the voice of reason at the time. (So pretty much never Jesse, haha)
LoZ: Agatha, haha. Just let me bask in my obessions, lol.
RnM: Summer. I want to stand up for myself and what I believe is right and I won’t let anyone stop me.
The character you’d slap:
Preacher:  Jesse. He’s such a hothead, it’s frustrating.
LoZ: Mido. Or Tingle. Both if I’m allowed.
RnM: Rick, obviously. He could fill a novel with all the character flaws he refuses to work on.
Three favorite characters (in order of preference):
Preacher:  Tulip, Cass, Jesse
LoZ: Urbosa, Impa, Nabooru
RnM: Summer, Beth, Morty
A character you liked at first but don’t anymore:
Preacher: I’m starting to side-eye Jesse, but I’m still on the like side with him. LoZ: I still like everyone I always have.
RnM: Tammy, haha.
Three OTPs:
Preacher:   I ship an OT3, for Tulip, Cass, and Jesse. GIVE. ME. THE. PILE!!!
LoZ: Link/ Malon, Link/ Mipha, I’ve seen some cute AUs for Zelda/Ganon, but I don’t ship the canon versions!
RnM: Rick/Unity, Summer/Jessica, Morticia/ Jessica
