MILGRAM theory time: Haruka!

This isn't going to go super in depth (famous last words) but there's a few heavily debated parts of Haruka's MV I want to share my findings/thoughts on because I think this is my new special interest and during my quest to get best boy's song to 1 million views I have been looking over his first MV with a fine tooth comb so to speak.

Disclaimer: As the Jackalope said in the "This is the MILGRAM" trailer, we don't necessarily know everyone's crime from just the first video, its possible that a lot of things will be re-contextualized in the second MV, however I am not psychic or bilingual and thus will only be working with content released before August 20th 2021 and translated into English (which could cause some language/cultural details to be lost on me as translation is not a 1 to 1 process).

TW for discussions of ableism, child abuse, murder and animal death. Also this is really long so sorry to all the people that follow me for non-MILGRAM stuff

Firstly, I want to start on the topic of Haruka as a person. He is disabled. He does not have 'the mind of a child' (although he is 17, making him legally a minor in both North America and Japan). He is not just 'child-like'. And he is not mentally ill (well he might be, in the sense that many disabilities like Haruka's have strong comorbidities [where a person has two or more conditions but neither directly causes the other] with anxiety, depression and PTSD, but usually when I see people talk about him 'struggling with mental illness' they go on to refer to aspects of his disability). Sometimes on tumblr, people like myself, will see canonical traits written into a character and identify them as being traits associated with our disabilities/mental illness and headcanon them as such. Sometimes this even involves saying things like "It's basically canon!" Although we understand that these characters were probably not the result of a writer intending to write a disabled person. When I say that Haruka is being written as a person with a neurodevelopmental disability, I mean the writer intended to write a disabled character and wrote them in a way that they wanted the audience to pick up on. As an autistic person (which is one of many neurodevelopmental disorders and also something I probably didn't have to specify because who else would be writing an essay about a series they got into a few days ago at 11 o'clock at night) I really like how Haruka has been written so far. There's definitely some parts of him that have been exaggerated so abled normies can pick up on his disability (namely how his MV 's main motif is really child-like drawings) but the writers also included a lot of smaller details I appreciate like how it is noted he avoids eye contact when talking to other people and is depicted as nervously pulling at his sleeves in official artwork, or how he says he finds his prison uniform (which has tight straps) 'relaxing' and when he gets nervous/tense, he will dig his fingernails into the palm of his hands. (These last two potential being examples of 'self stimulation' [aka stimming] where a person seeks out specific sensory stimuli in order to help regulate their nervous system/emotions, in this case the tight uniform creates a comforting, secure feeling [you may have heard about some people preferring to sleep under weighted blankets for this reason] and digging nails into his palms sounds uncomfortable/painful but is done in an attempt to deal with a greater sensory discomfort caused by the situation/environment) I also appreciate the depth he is written with, he struggles to communicate verbally but in his MV and interactions with other inmates is shown to have insecurities, opinions and a consistent thought process (this is all basic character stuff but unfortunately not always present in disabled characters)

Also I want to add that (in terms of what we've been shown so far) Haruka did not kill anyone because of his disability/mental illness. Disabled people are not inherently more innocent than abled people. But there is no disability/mental illness where a symptom is that you kill people and real people have to live with the stigma when you speak carelessly and suggest things like "Haruka is the kind of mentally ill person who kills people as a cry for help" 🧂 (or at the very least real people have to read BS like that and cringe). TL;DR Haruka is less child-like and more onion-like (as in, he has layers) 🧅🧅🧅

Now is the actual theory stuff, oops:

Every prisoner in MILGRAM is supposed to have committed murder in some way, obviously considering Yuno just had an abortion (which i personally do not consider an act of murder) whilst Mu literally stabbed someone to death, this definition is stretched a bit. But it is not agreed upon yet who Haruka killed/how many people he killed or why he killed.

In his MV he is shown to have chased after his dog into a forest, seen something off-screen, then beaten something into a messy pulp with a rock. Some people think the dog is a red herring and that Haruka actually killed his mother/the girl from the fireworks show/his brother. I do not agree.

First: I believe Haruka when he says he doesn't have a brother. The MV literally starts by Haruka looking in the mirror and then switching between the him now

and a really similar looking younger child who just so happened to be a key feature of his memories (I don't have the vocabulary to explain it but its like cinematic parallels that establish this is the same person at different points of their life)

Its not impossible that this is Haruka's secret younger brother, but i think its unlikely. I saw someone saying they had to be different people because Haruka looks less happy than the child but like, most 17 year olds are less visibly happy than when they were 7 (or however old the child is meant to be). Life happens.

So when Haruka is shown pushing the child around and eventually strangling him, this isn't meant to be literal (homicide or suicide), but a representation of how conflicted Haruka feels about his younger self, who may have committed the murder (if you've ever been kept awake cringing at memories of something you said in the past and wishing you could go slap some sense into your former self, this is like that but 10 times more self loathing). The lyric "I am always repeating yesterday," implies he might think about this specific past event a lot.

Moving on, its pretty well accepted that Haruka's parents were abusive in some way and Haruka internalised a lot of it: he constantly apologises, he says in his interrogation questions that his one wish come true is that "[he] want[s] to be loved" and describes in his MV how when he couldn't find the words he was looking for ("you're unfair") one of his parents "would get angry at me and say “You’re hopeless.”". He seems to know its unfair but also still says he 'loves' his family, possibly mistakenly believing it is his fault, but also showing an awareness of his situation (and how his parents might behave).

Now, the MV is stylised in a way that makes certain details unclear, but there is one clear detail showing that Haruka's dog was killed

This is the first close up of Haruka and the dog. Haruka's mother is just out of frame supervising, but they look pretty happy. Notice how the puppy has a silvery chain for a collar. Somehow, this dog gets out of the house but only Haruka is shown chasing after it (whether his mother was searching elsewhere or didn't bother following her disabled son into the forest is unclear). Either way, young Haruka is now in the forest, unsupervised.

By the time he finds the dog, there is already blood, suggesting it was initally attacked by something else.

is this a sigh of relief from a boy whose finally found his beloved pet or a jealous weakling glad that nature took its course and he is finally free of that meddling mutt stealing all his mummy's attention? /j

I think this shock at the discovery that 'there is blood on his hands' could imply that rather than literally getting the blood from his dog, Haruka has seen his already injured dog and realises that if the dog got out because of him (he is previously shown to be aware his parents seem to blame him for everything) then he is the reason his dog is injured/dying and will be blamed for it. (this scene plays over the lyrics "It’s fine, though it’s really not It’s really fine, though I don’t really think so When I tried to understand it, You’ll make that disappointed face again" suggesting he is trying to avoid making his parents disappointed and letting the family pet escape into danger is something that could make them very disappointed)

now we get into rock murder (this is present-day Haruka implying that this is either: not how the scene really played out; the writers really wanting the audience to know that this was Haruka's doing and not someone else's; or this turns into a separate incident that happened much later [although note that the red sky and blue moon is the same as when young Haruka first appears at the start])

b the corpse is beyond mangled now, but its clearly the dog because the silver chain collar is still there, to the right of the body. (circled in red for your convenience :3)

My hypothesis is: Haruka didn't set out to kill his dog, but upon finding it injured (we don't know the severity aside from bleeding and also it not being able to run away from Haruka kneeling down above it w/ a big rock so it could range from treatable with a lot of vet help to already on death's door, TBH I don't think Haruka would know the difference) He knew he'd be blamed for this; made into a villain who let the poor puppy come to harm. He panicked and killed the dog out of some idea that it would make him the victim here (since he'd be found crying over a dog corpse, which might make a parent go comfort him rather than getting angry about what could've happened to the dog). This is over the lyrics: "I cried, I screamed I wanted to be a pitied and loved weakling I was in denial, I was in denial I just had to make sure I’ve become a victim, I’ve become a victim" (there's another theory that he was also jealous of the dog, which could work here too, since this is not some calculated plot; rather its a rash decision) This ties in with his Japanese song title (translated as Weakness) which is a play on a phrase sort of like "The strong eat, the weak do not" to become "The weak are eaten by society" or "The weak eat each other to survive" [once again I am reminding everyone this is based on second hand information from the youtube comments section (from users mitchki and Alphaistic) because I do not speak Japanese] This second meaning (The weak eat each other to survive) makes sense under the reading that Haruka killed his dog in order to 'survive' making his parents disappointed for the dog escaping.

Miscellaneous points:

We don't know where Haruka's necklace came from yet, it must be a gift since the most expensive thing he's ever bought was cotton candy. The younger child in the video isn't wearing it and neither is his mother or the girl in the purple dress.

Haruka's home seems quite big, at the start we can see a large flower garden outside the window and there's a forest in walking distance. This might suggest his family is quite wealthy

Haruka probably did go to school at some point as homeschooling is not a legally accepted as an alternative to public schools in Japan. (However it is estimated that up to 5000 families homeschool, this is uncommon) A lot (about 62%) of Japanese schools apparently have a 'special needs' classes and there are about 505 schools focused on educating intellectually disabled students (although I do not know which sort Haruka would've needed as whilst intellectual and development disabilities can be comorbid they aren't the same). Now, if children aged 7-14 don't go to school, their parents receive a fine, but its possible that if Haruka's parents are wealthy, they just paid it to avoid sending him to school. (This might imply they wanted to hide him or were generally ashamed of him in some way) However high school education (for students over 14) is not legally required and its likely that even if Haruka went to elementary/middle school, he hasn't been around people his own age in at least 3 years. As he seems quite lonely and glad that the other prisoners give him attention.

I don't think Haruka's parents are divorced and if they are, its not his father who left. Haruka mentions in the 30 questions that he thinks he disappointed his father. But still includes him as part of his family ("My father and mother and me"). A theory I've seen is that his father was disappointed by his son being disabled and left. but developmental disabilities (especially in non verbal and semi verbal children like Haruka) can be diagnosed before the age of 3, so I feel it is unlikely that Haruka would bring up his father if he left that early in Haruka's life

All MILGRAM prisoners have covered one of DECO*27's older vocaloid songs (DECO*27 is a well known producer who composes the music for MILGRAM) Haruka covered 'Two Breaths Walking' (https://youtu.be/puXLfVWrz2Q) which is about a boy's first relationship and how his mother's jealousy set him up for failure as the relationship becomes toxic (specifically it has some very funny out of context lines like "Whose breasts are you sucking on now?") so yeah, mommy issues: the song (Also: some people say in the song, the boy kills the girl at the end, but this isn't literal, TBW is the first of a trilogy of songs about the same relationship, it is followed by Android girl then Two Breaths Walking: Reloaded and the story resolves with the couple reuniting as adults and getting in the relationship again, although its not necessarily as abusive as before, its still implied to be codependant ending on the line 'We should live like oxygen tanks, sucking breathe from the words each of us exhale, until our last breathe')

In all seriousness, the scene where younger Haruka is walking through the city with his mother but it keeps repeating until older Haruka pulls the younger one away might indicate an attempt to focus the happier memories of his parents (since this is also over the lyrics "Why is it breaking? Tell me why? Please don’t change If I tried and couldn’t say it, You would get angry at me and say “You’re hopeless.”" which depict a worse scene) I think both his parents are still physically present but have become far more emotionally distant, not giving him as much attention, which exacerbates his loneliness from not having any friends his own age to talk to

And if one of his parents did leave? I think its likely his mother since she is shown disappearing out of his reach after the dog-incident (inferring she got angry/disappointed in Haruka anyway) This could also be where he got his necklace from: Its something his mother used to wear (although this is 100% a guess) and that's why its shown to be important to him

This one is just me, but i didn't realise until a rewatch that when Haruka is watching the younger him and the girl running together, the background has fireworks. Haruka mentions fireworks being a key memory to him so I wonder if this was one of the first/last times he got to make a friend...

On three separate occasions in the interrogation, Haruka mentions not liking animals. Despite this, he is depicted as sleeping with a rabbit plush and on his birthday art (I'd include that too but tumblr only allows 10 pictures per post, so here's a link) he is standing next to a giant blueberry and strawberry cake with two bunny themed biscuits at the side. Through my experiences of seeing Japanese fandom art on pixiv, sometimes rabbits are used to insinuate a character is cute and timid in fanart.

Meaningless details: Haruka sleeps with his necklace on; he sleeps on a bed and not a futon; at first I thought he woke up holding his plush's hand but his hand is merely next to the toy; and considering the state of the pillow and blanket, I wonder if he moves a lot in his sleep or if the is just because in this case he seems to be waking up from a nightmare about the dog incident...

"have fun during the honeymoon!"

you felt jaemin place his palm on your hips as you both greeted the newlyweds jeno and his now-wife a goodbye. walking out of the venue both you and jaemin continued to walk silently to the parking lot with his palm still on your hip. the car was by the outdoor parking lot making your walk a bit longer. on the way to the open space was the view of the surroundings, basil-colored shrubs, and trees highlighted by the moonlight. the sound of both your shoes' soles hitting the pavement, making a rough rhythm.

jaemin's soft hold on your hip tightened as he re-positioned his arm which was now wrapping around you. the atmosphere between the two of you was still silent. silent yet painful. with more steps taken towards the car the more sorrowful the air becomes, and both you and jaemin have noticed it well.

jaemin saw from his peripheral vision your head which was now leaning on his shoulder, adding another bullet towards his heart. as much as he wanted to, he hesitated to leave a peck on your crown, opposite of what he always did.

time check, it was 9:25 in the evening, quite early for both of you to leave the reception, unlike jaemin's other friends who were ready to get wasted, happy for their fellow brodie who finally married the girl of his dreams. despite feeling heavy beforehand during the ceremony, the gloomy feeling jaemin had would grow even worse.

"jaem?" you called out breaking the silence. "hmm?"

"it's a bit early." you reminded him as only a few hours before midnight remained. jaemin's grip on your hips shifted up to your waist making you move closer to him, not wanting you to move away from him. placing the peck he wanted earlier by your temple. "let's pass by hangang then" jaemin suggested which you agreed anyways.

the car was now in front of you, jaemin escorted you first to your door, being the gentlemen he always was. jaemin on the other hand, remained outside for the meantime. the painful atmosphere started to get intense making you both break down into tears.

jaemin outside tugged on a fistful of his hair before letting his tears run down his face, burying himself in his arms above the car's trunk. you on the other hand were drenched in tears and sweat. the car was still off thus making it humid. you refrained from making any noise as you cried covering your mouth, still couldn't believe what was going to happen in just a few hours. you spotted a black velvet box, the same box jaemin showed you years ago, exactly knowing what was inside it. you stole a glance looking jaemin staring at you, eyes slightly droopy and pink. just as devastated as you were.

jaemin straightened up as he finally made himself start the car, preparing himself to move towards hangang park, which was around an hour and a half from the venue you both were.

the atmosphere became emotional once again as jaemin continued to drive to the park. the music playing was not helping at all, but it's was better than suffocating in dreadful silence.

time check, it was now 10:49. you both were now inside hangang park, walking around the premises.

the view was amazing especially at night as the soft sounds of han river's waves echoed nearby. you both took the time to admire the pretty park and savor the time you both still had with each other.

"baby?" jaemin asked. "yeah?" you looked at him as he tried to avoid your eye contact.

"can we? you know... that area." he fiddled with your fingers that were resting on his arm he offered earlier. "oh..." you felt your tears slowly coming back. "let's hurry, we have an hour left."

you and jaemin sped walked towards the area you both knew about. after a few walking, you both saw the exact same bench you both sat on in the past. the memorable wooden bench giving the view of the shining river.

you both sat down in silence, looking into the river just to avoid any contact with one another. both of you were trying your best to avoid breaking down once again. breaking down on an area that holds the most precious memory. "babe."

"you gotta stop calling me that, y'know?" you tried to balance out your breathing, you will surely miss that sweet tone and pet name.

"we still got time, i won't waste any minute." jaemin slowly interlocked his hand with yours, bringing the hand up to his lips pecking the top of your hand leaving a few tears that were now running down his face. feeling the tears that coated the backside of your hand, you didn't bother to hold in the feelings you've been keeping.

"oh how time fly by fast. it still feels like i proposed to a beautiful girl in this very spot yesterday." jaemin sniffled. he giggled as he wiped his cheek, "it's crazy how we both agreed to stay together until jeno's wedding" he looked down at his slacks. "hey, it's jeno. we can't let him feel bad on his day."

"jaem... we're not making a mistake, right?" you looked at jaemin with swollen eyes, hoping for another answer.

"we've signed everything, baby. we're doing what's best, right?" jaemin looked back as he continues to shed some tears, not wanting to accept the truth. "our parents understood too. you deserve someone who's always there by your side." jaemin instantly felt the regret.

you sobbed as you slowly reached for the same velvet box from earlier. handing it to jaemin, he felt heartbroken once more, seeing your wedding rings at the worst time possible.

"but look on the bright side, i married the most amazing girl i've met, someone i didn't deserve. and even if things didn't end right between us, i don't regret anything. i was the happiest with you." jaemin cupped your cheek slowly caressing it after.

"i was the happiest with you too, jaem" you mimicked as you reached out to caress his cheek as well. time check, it was now 11:35 pm. "jaem, we have twenty-five minutes left."

you cupped his cheek as you slowly squished it, "i don't want this jaemin. please" you tried convincing as he did nothing but cry harder. he reached out for your hand, slowly pulling it down. "i don't either sweetheart. but what we're having is no longer great for the both of us. we're just h-hurting each other already!" he hiccuped in between his statements.

he had a point.

your mascara? ruined. jaemin's gelled hair? disheveled. your hearts? crushed.

silence took over as you both continued to sniffle. in less than ten minutes, your divorce papers will take effect.

jaemin reached out for your neck as he slowly pulled you closer, leaning in for your last kiss.

"can i?" granting permission, jaemin rested his soft set above yours. not holding back you tilted your head for better access, both your lips moved to a slow rhythm. the salty taste of the tears overpowered the signature sweet taste you both adored. the feeling of absolute devastation overpowered the feeling of love for each other that remained. you both didn't want to let go. but you both had to. everything was already set.

papers were signed, the house and furniture were sold, the parents were ready to engulf their child into embraces. the feeling of loneliness was itching to come over already.

breaking away for some breathers you both cried the hardest. you both hugged as you both quickly leaned in for one last-yet-short kiss.

DING

your phone alarms went off. it was midnight. that's it.

"i'll always love you, my cinderella. even if we're miles apart, even if we're on our separate ways."

Chapter 14

3 days passed

Shin min ah's p.o.v

I couldn't go back i was so scared. I couldn't meet up with Cha eun woo too why did he do that it was wrong just like me, i was wrong, it was all a misunderstanding.

Also i cried lately because of what Jungkook said to me. I never wanted to see him again hence i decided to quite my job soon.

Well enough my close manager offered me an apartment so i had to move in today. I found out the apartment i was living was very expensive at first i refused but hr didn't give in alloweded me to live there since he was very close to my grandmother.

I was able to arrive with my belongings with the help of the movers. The apartment looked gorgeous even i heard from the movers that you must be rich to move in there but it was all thanx to my uncle the manager they also said even some famous celebrities might live here.

I dragged my things upto my front door when i heard a bark from the next apartment wow i love dogs but i couldn't keep one because i didn't trust myself since my first dog died and it seems that i havemyself a neighbour, who might have maybe been here along a time. Should i knock and introduce myself? Aniyo maybe later perhaps they are busy.

I got in my apartment which left my mouth agape. It was very beautiful, clean and decorated lovely and decided to call the manager and thank him " are you sure it was once yours and you didn't buy it?"i asked him feeling abit uncomfortable about the big house. "Don't feel uneasy everything is okay just stay comfortable till you pay your debts at your old home arasso?" "Ne kumaoh manger Park but i w-" he cut me off before i asked him about resigning.

I went to my living room where i threw myself on the large comfortable bed i was so happy that i almost fell asleep.

I couldn't wait to tell my friends about my new apartment. I draged my phone going through the contacts till when his name caught my attention asking myself several times if i should call him. "Aniyo i should just forget him it was just the past by the way he won't even talk to me wae do i bother?"

I called my friends inviting them to my new apartment to celebrate.

Meanwhile

Bts were at the set filming for their music video when hyungs called him "yah Jungkook what you did yesterday isn't fair." Jin cried "what do you mean by that?" " i saw you the way you dissed Min ah like she was the one who dissed you." Jin cried

Flashback

She watched him leave for a distance with a random woman till thats when she catched up with him smiling towards him "Jungkook, what are trying to do? Can we talk." She asked gently but "oppa who is she, is she your girlfriend?" "Aniyo i don't no her, must be one of my fans." Those words which Min ah didn't expect came out from the guy Min ah has been trusting Jungkook.

"Is their anything you want? Or are you some kind of gold digger too?" Min ah suddenly slapped his cheeks which turned hot red as her eyes were teary, deep down she didn't expect this on her second meeting again.

The other woman tried to interfier but Min ah stoped her."you've grown alot Jungkook that you've forgotten the people who love you." She said realising the girls hand and left.

End of flashback

"I just saw her cry her heart out because of you, you are really a bad guy." Jin cried "how can you make a woman you love cry?i'm disappointed." Suga told him infront of the others.

Everyone left him as they were called on set. "Did i perhaps make everything worst?" Jungkook thought staring at the red rose he was holding till he decided to get back on set.

Meanwhile

Yoona managed to meet up with Cha eun woo as usual at the bar . "So i heard you haven't meet up with Min ah for days?" Asking Eun woo who was in deep thoughts.

"I'm scared that i ruined our friendship that's why i can't meet her." He gulped having his drink. "Yah! Eun woo can't you just give up stressing yourself this much it's bad for your health." Yoona cried angrily.

"I bet she hates me now for what i did." Eun woo complained getting drunk. "Cha eun woo you stop drinking you are someone big now." Yoona tried helping Eun woo to the car drunk unknowingly their being taken pictures.

Yoona's p.o.v

Don't worry oppa. I'll take care of you even if we are still friends i still love you. I'll do what it takes to be with you again and no one will stop us even her." I cried out of anger and jealous.

As i held his handsome face and kissed his lips slowly realising he was kissing back. The kiss then became intense till "Min ah saraghae." He cried from his sleep making me to stop. I was so angry on how he could still call after her even when i'm here for him.

I got out and the driver took him back home as i decided ti go back to mine "hey Yoona did you come from seeing Eun woo?" Omma kept asking me everyday i come home but ignored her and went to my room.

That night

Min ah and her friend were celebrating the moving to a new apartment for Min ah. "Kombe!!lets celebrate." Min ah cried wanting to get drunk and forget every thing in the past. "Guys what would you do if your friend likes you?" She cried "wae? Did Eun woo do it?" Shin hye cried "geesh he was so determined." Go ara cried

"Wait! you guys knew?" Min ah cried suprised to her two stupid friends. " yah! Min ah the problem is that you are too clueless, Eun woo liked you for a long time but we were suprised you didn't even realize it." Go ara cried

"Maybe..or perhaps Seung gi left me for that" she worried almost tearly after remembering how he and her went on their first trip together but they couldn't do it because of her. She started pouring alot of drink and drinking it at once.

"Yah! Min ah are you crazy?" Go ara cried stoping her. " you two knew but wouldn't tell me." "Ne we couldn't, if we would where could that lead you two?" Shin hye complained "the problem is not your relation with others you are just late to realize something infront of you. You just need to to embrace what comes in your mind i thought you were someone like that?" Shin hye continued drinking.

"I need to drink still." She said to herself shrugging her shoulder making her way to turn her radio. " soundp..roof..." she laughed drunkenly pointing at the wall and spinning.

"Min ah you seem crazy tonight." Shin hye cried louding up the music since the wall was soundproof.

"Guys i think we should go clubbing tonight we haven't gone for a long time." Shin hye cried "yeah!" They all agreed

"By the way Min ah who's your neighbour?have you meet up?" Go ara asked as they got out "aniyo doesn't matter to me, i don't even care anymore!" Min ah cried feeling overwhelmed "maybe you should what if he's a handsome man next door." Go ara cried

Shin min ah's p.o.v

At the club

I was busy having fun drinking and wildly dancing trying to forget everything even that jerk superstar. I just wish i never meet any stars. " i hate stars they are all betrayals with good looking faces but lies!" I tried to get it out with my friends who cheered at me supporting me or having no idea of what i was talking about.

"Hey guys I'm very angry." I cried "because the truth is that i met with idols among them we were really close, he comforted me, he was always there to cheer me up i really treated him nicely as my dongsae but i think i broke a promise with him and left.... now he's returned a..nd..he looks more cool and mature he treats me like garbage....while i was trying to be nice i really hate it! But is it my fault?does he hate me." I cried only seeing Go ara dozing off but shin hye seemed awake.

"Maybe...you should also consider that person's feelings." She said as everything started turning blur and black out.

Meanwhile

Jungkook's p.o.v

I returned to my apartment only to realise their was a new neighbour. It was okay not to have neighbour but it was manager Park's place "didn't he say he moved out?" I thought getting in ignoring all these thoughts.

I was so tired after all the shooting. My other hyungs also decided to live privately on their own but we may all visit each other if we wanted i decided to take a shower as i laid on the bathtub, i couldn't help but think of her.

Later

I lay myself on the sofa i was too tired to think but i couldn't forget the part that i made Min ah cry. I felt hurt how could i, she might be blaming herself. I thought as i went to my pet and fed her.

I was so worried, i even tried passing by her home but she wasn't there? It's 3 days now she hasn't come to work..what if...aniyo..

I made my way to my piano and sat there realising the song i wrote about her. I then decided to play it..i smiled to myself just remembering at her pretty smile and her warm shoulder she let me lean on.

I wanted to keep my mind off her as i did some exercises only to see her ilusions everywhere smiling at me "aniyo aniyo!, dont make me blame myself!" i cried, I'm about to go crazy..Just forget her all illusions." I drank my water and went to sleep.

End of p.o.v

The next day

Shin min ah's p.o.v

I was on my new comfortable bed. It felt really nice i could feel the warm sunlight shinning on my face. I didn't want to wake up from this bed it felt comfortable.

I reached my hand to find my pillow my eyes closed.. Atlast a new day..i smiled to mself. hey whats this?..i felt something warm beside me..it felt really warm...wait is this..a person..i felt an ear on that person's.

I slowly opened my eyes...what if it's a stranger or pervert? Was this some kind of night stand..i cried as i began to get clear image only to realise their was a man beside me...he was facing the other side still asleep.

I woke up only to realise that it was not my room but...i then knew since i have a bad memory when i get drunk that i must got drunk going back home and accidentally entered my neighbour's home mistakening it as mine.

Ooh God!ottokye what if he wakes up and calls the cops mistakening me as some pervert? I should leave...but he looks familiar quiet handsome and..aniyo i wasn't trying to be a pervert but i was being right now. I looked at myself realising i just had a vest on me.

I should hurriedly leave, i searched and spotted my blouse on his foot and slowely took it and wore it. I'm thankful he might be quiet a deepsleep.

I decided to leave when he suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me right back to his bed...i was busted...but not only that i was shocked to face the last idol i wanted to see. It was him "Jungkook?" i gulped suprised, crying inside out of all people why it had to be him? Destiny why play such a cruel game? I squeezed shut my eyes not wanting it to be true.

I got more suprised when he pulled me closer to him making me face his dazzling bare face realising how handsome he was this close.

I could feel his warm breath collide with mine making me all of a sudden sweaty and embarrassed as he chuckled "Did you really think you could get away after what we did last night?" His soft voice escaped his lips he was touching leaving my mouth agape, my soul and my body as he smirked at me "las..t ni.gh.t?" i stuttered.

(From her older sister)“Kelandris,

Thank the Maker you’re alive! And thank you for informing us. I write you from the Trevelyan estate – I rejoined our family here when news of the Conclave’s destruction reached Ostwick. Losing Her Holiness was bad enough; losing you as well was heartbreaking. Now that the mood here has lifted, however, I will return to the chapel soon— though I shall have to temper my joy, first. The whole Chantry is in mourning for the Most Holy, nor was I the only Sister who lost someone close to them. It would be cruel to flaunt our family’s good fortune.

The others are just as glad; I suspect this is not the only note you will receive. Asharion is already scoffing at your new title. I must admit, I never thought I’d be glad to hear our brother’s complaints. He refused to speak of you after your supposed death; he refused to speak of almost everything. The silence was terribly disturbing. Within five minutes of your letter’s arrival, though, he was back in fine form. “As if Kelandris needed any more reason to be smug,” were his exact words. (He smiled as he said it, but don’t tell him I said so.)

(I have no idea who she’s talking to, but it must be someone close for her to be quite so open.)“Afraid? I faced down a self-styled god who keeps an Archdemon as a fucking pet, and you’re asking if I was afraid?” (She laughs.) “I was terrified. Honestly, I was certain I was going to die… But I would have, to save the people of Haven. The Inquisition, the pilgrims, the refugees— everyone was depending on me. I wasn’t about to let a little thing like ‘fear’ get in my way. Although… afterwards, in the snow… that was— difficult. Determination kept me going for a while, but the fires of conviction can only do so much against an actual blizzard. I will confess, I started to wonder if I wasn’t meant to be a martyr, after all. It seemed a particularly ignoble end, freezing to death mere hours after surviving the fall of Haven. Then again, Andraste perished in fire; I suppose it would have been poetic for Her Herald to perish in ice.

“Yes. I do think I’ve been chosen. Or touched, or blessed, or something, at least. How many others were at the Conclave? Hundreds, at least. And yet, out of everyone, I was the one survived. I know how to fight; I know how to lead. I have the courage to stare down a dragon – I know not everyone could have done what I did. I’ve always thrived under pressure. I’m good at this, all of this. 14. Your OC talking about your favorite quest

(Yes, the Deep Roads was my favorite. Come at me, deep-roads-haters! She’s pretty clearly talking to Alistair here, who wasn’t in the party for the expedition. Also, once again – I’m not crying, you’re crying.)

“Awful. It wasawful. I don’t want to go back there. I never want to go down through that terrible Tainted darkness ever again! I d-don't— I don’t want to be the strong one anymore!” (The words devolve into muffled sobbing. After a while, the sound of distress eases.)

“S-sorry. I’m very good at getting your shirt wet, it seems… Thank you. I needed that. Andraste’s blood, the things we saw down there…” (There’s another choked sob.) “No, I’m alright. I’m all cried out, now, anyway…” (A pause; a deep breath, slightly shaky.) “It w-wasn’t all bad. Well, I mean, it was; but the Dwarven-made parts were quite impressive under all the Tainted muck. You could see echoes of grandeur, sometimes. Soaring columns and wondrous bridges, covered in intricate carvings, where the ‘spawn hadn’t defaced them, anyway…

“The song was everywhere, though. Just whispers, at first, but it just kept getting louder and louder the deeper we went. And then— and then we… We heard it from the source. We saw it. We saw the Archdemon with our waking eyes, and the whole horde spread out beneath him… We looked death in the face, that day. I thought for sure it would see us, or sense us up on that ridge – but I guess even Tainted Old Gods can’t pick out the sound of two Grey Wardens from such a cacophony.”

(A weary sigh.) “Nothing like an Archdemon to put this whole thing in perspective… Would you believe me if I said that wasn’t even the worst thing in the Deep Roads? It shows up in our nightmares, at least. There are other— other things, horrors like I’d never even imagined… If you’ve ever wondered how darkspawn reproduce, the answer is ‘horrifically.’ Don’t ask any more than that – if I think about it too hard it will just make me throw up.
