he was sitting on the couch, relaxing with takemichi, draken, and you, along with a few other of takemichi’s buddies who were playing some sort of card game on the floor. you sat next to mikey, the exhaustion of your day finally settling in. the dark bags under your eyes grew more prominent as you leaned to the side, your head hitting a certain someone’s shoulder. his eyes were immediately on you, scanning over your tired figure, searching for anything that could be wrong. but once he’d concluded there was nothing wrong with you except how tired you were, he shoved you off his shoulder, making you open your eyes that had just closed moments before. everyone in the room was shocked, especially draken who looked like he was oh so close to punching his best friend. though he’d calmed down when mikey decided to lay on your lap instead, instantly falling into his own slumber as you rolled your eyes, laying your head against the arm rest of the couch falling asleep with your boyfriend in your arms.

he sat in front of the meeting place of toman, glancing around, remembering everything that had happened with the small, confined area. you were right next to him, sitting in silence and just reminiscing about the past. thinking about everything made your head spin, so much had happened at this tiny area, but it impacted every single person in toman greatly. you hadn’t noticed how much you had been swaying, moving around trying to keep yourself awake, but draken sure did. “hey,” hearing his voice after so much silence made you flinch, though you slowly locked eyes with him. “you alright?” you hummed, you voice hoarse with the exhaustion of your day. “m’ just fine, ken.” but no matter how many times you could’ve said it, he just did not believe you, and so, he stood upon his feet and leaned down, picking you up in his arms as he sighed. “you need sleep y/n.” he spoke, walking away from where you’d just been sitting for so long. he figured he’d take you to whoever’s house was closed, just to get you into a bed and resting as soon as possible.

he leaned against his elbows that stretched behind him as he lay in the grass, you snuggling close to him for the warmth he radiated. the nighttime had been cold, the breeze making it that much worse as you lay under the moon, gazing up at the twinkling spots in the sky. this was truly the first time the two of you could relax together in so long, and it was nice, refreshing almost. he smiled, just knowing he was finally enjoying his alone time with you, and as he went to say something to you, he’d realized that your eyes were not only shut, but you were shivering. so, without another thought, he did his best to take his jacket off without you waking up, or being distrubed whatsoever. a gentle kiss was placed on your head as he finally got the jacket comfortably on you, and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you closer than before. “sweet dreams my love.”

he let his head hang from where he sat on the recently rained out concrete, his hands behind him the only thing holding him up. he sighed, watching the grey clouds roll by, completely covering any blue that had once taken over the sky. it might’ve been that he had simply spaced out, not realizing you had approached him in any way. so, when you laid your head on his shoulder, he flinched, ready to fight. though, upon seeing it was you, he just froze, not knowing how to react. he had finally relaxed into you after you had taken his hand into your own, letting him know you were there, guiding him along as you’d always done. his tense shoulders had relaxed, giving you a much comfortable surface to rest your head upon.

he sighed, the long day he had hovering over his head as a rain cloud would on a rainy day. he was tired, exhausted if you will. he hadn’t felt like this in a long time, so tired and broken. his eyes seemed to lose their shine he had just recently gotten back, but now, as he sat near the gravestone as his former comrade, that emotionless looking boy he used to be grew on him once again. but he didn’t have the motivation to fix it, or change. at least, that was the case until you took a seat right by his side, leaning your head against his shoulder. his heart seemingly skipped a beat, his eyes widened in a state of shock from you and your presence alone. he felt at ease, though the bags under his eyes didn’t go away just that easily. he had decided, that maybe just one more time, he could get comfortable. comfortable enough to trust someone again, and that someone was you. he leaned into you as you wrapped your arms around him, his eyes glossing over and him hugging you tightly in return. “thank you..” was all he could mumble out without the tears flowing down his cheeks.

he could only stutter when you laid your head on his chest, closing your eyes in the process. no words actually came out of his mouth either, just mouth movements of absolute shock and embarrassment. he was blushing, and blushing hard. his entire face was engulfed in a deep red, from his chin to the tips of his ears. “y-y/n..?” but by the time he even spoke a word, you were already fast asleep on his chest. the more he took the time to breathe, calm down a bit, he realized just how warm you were against him. maybe just in general, you were warm, sweet, kind in your own way. he smiled, his blush turning into one simply dusting his cheeks in pink as he positioned himself to get more comfortable on the couch where now the two of you laid.

he stared intently at your approaching figure as you sat on the couch beside him, you weight immediately shifting onto his shoulder. he tsked, trying to shake you off. it got to a point where he was so close to just pushing you off of him, wanting to be left alone as soon as possible, but as his hand neared your face, he couldn’t help it when every movement in his body stopped, his eyebrows furrowing. his tenseness became relaxed as his hand lowered. he slowly brushed a strand of hair hanging down across your face to the side, letting him fully see your peaceful expression. for some reason, it made him wish he could, for once, have a night of peaceful sleep as you are now. he wanted to not have any worries, though he knew that was simply impossible. but for the time, it wouldn’t hurt anyone to let you stay as you were for just a few more minutes.

MIKEY comes home, a bit bruised and bloody and though “a bit” is already too much for you, this has become a routine—you walk together to the bathroom, mikey leaning on the counter while you rummage through the first aid kit. “i was so cool out there, baby. you should’ve seen the other guys,” he brags, breaking the heavy silence, as you dab the ointment over the last of his cuts. something beneath his proud tone tells you he’s doing it to alleviate your worries so you decide to play along. “wanna see something cooler? i can hold the world in my hands.” he straightens up, pure excitement written all over his expression, “show me.” cautious of his fresh wounds, you carefully frame his face with your hands. if you haven’t been paying close attention, you would’ve missed the way his smile slightly wobbles. “i’m your world?” “my whole world, mikey.” you place a featherlight kiss over one of his bandages and when you pull back to look at him, you find a layer of mist over his eyes. resting his forehead on yours, mikey exhales a shaky breath. “guess i gotta be more careful, huh?”

“you’re awfully quiet.” DRAKEN states, his back on you as he tinkers with his motorcycle but it’s not long before he’s glancing over his shoulder, eyeing you suspiciously. “what did you do?” “i’m literally just sitting here,” you say too defensively which makes him chuckle. he gets on his feet to dust off his hands on his uniform before walking over to you. “i’ll be done in ten minutes,” he promises as he leans in to press his lips on yours tenderly. you bring your hands up to his cheeks, refusing to let him pull away an inch too far as your eyes stare into his. “what is it?” he asks. “just trying to see if i can hold the world in my hands.” draken’s quick to understand what you mean and he simply rolls his eyes but you catch the slight twitch in the corners of his lips as they quirk up. “sap.” he gently grabs your face, pecking you on the nose. “you’re my world, too.”

“look! i’m holding the world in my hands.” you tenderly take CHIFUYU’s face in your hands, expecting him to blush like he usually does at your affectionate gestures but he only rolls his eyes in exasperation. “yeah, yeah, i know. because my head is round,” he grumbles and you can’t help but let out a snort. “what?” “that’s getting real old, babe.” he pouts, not wanting to hear another remark from you about his haircut making his head look like an almost perfect circle. “no, baby,” you tell him, barely able to contain your giggles, “i mean, yes. that, too.” chifuyu is about to peel your hands away when you add: “i meant you’re my world.” you’re still laughing but he no longer minds it as a smile stretches across his face. “then that makes you my sunshine.”

you straddle RINDOU’s lap from where he’s sat on the bed, scrolling away on his phone. when you don’t say a word, he tears his eyes away from the screen to shoot you an unimpressed look. “what are you doing?” biting your lip to hold back a giggle, you gently cup his face. “i’m holding the world in my hands.” rindou’s expression doesn’t light up but you notice a tint of red beginning to dust his cheeks. you don’t bother to stifle your laugh this time. “you’re so cute, rin.” at your cooing, a scowl forms on his visage. some days, even in the privacy of your home, rindou will just not admit he likes to be coddled too—this is one of those days. “whatever,” he grumbles, “i can do it, too.” he tosses his phone onto the bed and puts both of his hands over your face. “rin!” you giggle, the sound muffled against his palms, as you try to push him off by the wrists. he laughs at your struggle and eventually lets up, sliding his hands to your jaw. “come here,” he says before pressing his lips on yours.

His love language is quality time and gift giving, so he’s more show you he loves you, but won’t say it first. The kinda mf that when you say I love you to them say, “Yeah I know, I love me too if only there was someone out there who loved you.” Like manz is so obvious I wanna kiss him to shut him the fuck up. In terms of icks there is one thing I no for fact. This mf wears socks to bed. And not the cute fluffy kind. The musty ass crusty socks he wore all day, then stepped in water, and now you gotta deal with it while yall cuddling. I hate this mf.

On a more serious note, because of his Bonten Bs, he doesn’t have a lot of time for us. So we make time. His time. We just barge in during his meetings, lay across his lap, watch TikTok’s, while everyone (him) are just looking like “is this bitch serious!?” >:|

Anyways, because he’s so busy all the time, the majority of what he wants to do when he gets home is just to sprawl out on the couch and just stay there. OKAY SO LIKE HEAR ME OUT. the foodies of tokrev would LOVE it when their S/O takes them out for dinner or makes dinner (some of them would even join!!). and if their S/O is a foreigner, they'd be down to try new cuisine !!

first one on the list is the one and only, MITSUYA <3 you can't tell me this man isn't open-minded, he's willing to try everything and thinks it's worth it. so when he tried vietnamese food, he absolutely loved it fr. would definitely love bún bò huế, would also love a bánh mì to start off his day at work.

second is BAJI. and tbh i think this guy loves spices so he'd love cá kho tộ, sometimes it only has a small amount of spice to give you a small kick and DAMN the sauce tastes so good !! (it's my fave too i love everything about it)

third is MIKEY, this mf is a whole foodie and it shows every damn second of the show. would LOVE chè trôi nước, or chè bưởi. he likes the sweets, so for me i genuinely think he likes chè a lot-

forth is my darling ofc, HANMAAAAA <33 you can't tell me otherwise this man lives for bánh xèo. we both are bánh xèo enjoyers and would never let it down fr. the first time he tried it he's just absolutely IN LOVE. enjoys bánh khọt on the side because HE COULD NEVER MISS IT.

FIFTH, oh boy, it's kakucho !! fruits basket: i cannot express enough how much i love this. it’s been like nine months since i watched it but it still has me on a chokehold. no other anime has had the same impact on me. i really thought it was cute and light but nooo everyone has trauma. only five episodes in and i was already sobbing crying weeping bawling then it was just waterworks from there 🥲

kimi ni todoke: really cute and soft high school romance!! i was giggling and blushing nonstop over this but also feeling incredibly frustrated at the slowburn but kuronuma and kazehaya are so cute i love them a lot <333 i suggest reading the manga because the anime only covers like 1/3 of it

horimiya: SO WHOLESOME <333 i instantly fell in love with miyamura (hence the -miya in my url lololol) he’s my soft angel boy 🥰 also horimiya’s coming back in july and i’m really excited hihi i haven’t finished the manga tho lmao

tokyo revengers: i’m only including this out of pure bias because i’m emotionally attached to draken LMFAO but this was the first anime and manga i got into. it had so much potential at the beginning but the ending in my most honest opinion was um. really bad LMFAO like really fucking corny and the animation is shit 😭😭 draken is just so special to me so i can’t fully hate it lmfaodjsksk

erased: one of my favorites from my brother’s recommendations to me. definitely executed time travel much better than tokrev. it’s got the right amount of suspense and the villain reveal was perfect to me. also i wanna kiss fujinuma <333

spy x family: i’m sooo behind on the manga but yeah it’s def one of my favs. i love how loid is a top spy but he’s still not exempt from being a loser sometimes lmao also he’s hot. yor’s hot too. also yuri

your name: i adore the whole “love transcends time” and soulmates concept of it <33 and i fell in love with the soundtrack esp theme of mitsuha. it’s so lovely

a silent voice: it tackles bullying, mental health and suicide and i think they handled it delicately. i remember watching it during one of the lowest points of my life and crying because it was so relatable esp at that time but it was also very comforting. it’s such an important movie to me

5 centimeters per second: i feel like this is an acquired taste? the pacing is kinda slow but it’s basically about the sad truth of long distance inevitably having people grow apart after an amount of time and like what happens when you don’t learn to move on. i was really proud of myself for not crying during the movie but after watching it, the story started to sink in and i cried real fat tears for like over half an hour 😀
