Merlin has to decide whether to let the flowers continue to grow or make a confession and accept what the flowers are trying to tell him.

It makes him look like he’s the one with a deadly illness, not Arthur.

I was tagged by the absolutely wonderful @excited-insomniac - thank you darling! I haven't done one of those in a while since brain refused to cooperate, but this one is going to be quick, since I have literally published a grand total of six fics lmao

The Knight of the Cart Comedic Retelling - the greatest thing I've ever written, merely because I had so much fun while writing it and banged this out in less than a month, which for me, is a lot. Arthuriana, 17k. Parody of Chrétien de Troyes' Lancelot the Knight of the Cart, written because I was trying to explain it to a friend and couldn't keep it short. No knowledge of the original is needed. Fun and light stuff, which is apparently my brand.

Toad Days - once again in the fun and cracky domain. BBC Merlin, Gen, 4k. Merlin accidentally transforms Arthur into a toad, and chaos ensues. It's the first fanfiction I've ever published, and I will forever be happy that the honour went to this one.

----ing Wizards - yep, still funny stuff. BBC Merlin, Gen, 900 words. Based on a Terry Pratchett quote. Arthur and Gwaine drunkenly come to terms with Merlin having magic. Written in mere hours while possessed by a writing demon. The friend who gave me the idea told me I managed to do Terry Pratchett justice, which is probably the greatest compliment I've ever received on my writing.

Love Languages - finally departing from the crack. BBC Merlin, Mergwenthur, 5k, still a WIP - but since it's a series of vignettes, can be read on its own. 5+1 mornings in a parallel season 5 where nothing changes except for Mergwenthur - until something actually does change in the end, of course. I think it has some of my best writing to date.

The Seduction of Merlin of Ealdor - this is just pure pwp. BBC Merlin, Merwainlot, 5.5k. I just love the chaos trio, and Dom!Lancelot, and I was absolutely delighted that a friend gave me the excuse to combine the two and write this. Writing porn proved to be incredibly hard, especially as an ace person, and I'm really proud of the result.

i consider being in a fandom my biggest hobby, tbh. by that i mean a fandom that i’m very active in. i pour so much of me into it, i dedicate way too much time and effort to it. sometimes it feels like a side job that i really love. it’s also the only thing where i can show my creativity, because in ‘real life’ i’m usually boring and average. other than that i bake, i love arts and crafts, i love fixing things, solving jigsaw puzzles and other kinds of puzzles or quizes, reading fanfic... i used to dance (professionally) and i miss that a lot

Wow this is crazy, I cannot believe it! 🤩 I never believed I would be here this day, making this follow forever. I left tumblr for good 2 years ago. I was never going to return. But then quarantine and Merlin happened to me and I was here again. I never thought this place would become again my safe haven, that I would meet so many new amazing friends and reconnect with so many old ones and become a part again of this amazing community. A HUGE shoutout to the Merlin fandom, for accepting me back with open arms after so many years of absence and being my favourite place on tumblr right now. I met so many beautiful people in this fandom and I will always be grateful for everything. Merlin Fans for BLM Masterpost

Greetings fellow Merlin fans! This is a comprehensive post of everyone who has volunteered to do commission work for those who donate to causes associated with the Black Lives Matter Movement. 

To commission a work:

1)  Make a donation to any of the causes, fundraisers, or organizations listed on this site. There are non-monetary methods of supporting listed as well.

Other ways to help include signing petitions. There are over 300 petitions listed here to sign if you live in the US, and here if you live in the UK. 

2)  Select one of the talented content creators on this post, message them to see if they are available to create the work that you would like in exchange for your donation. If they are, you must message them a screenshot or picture showing proof of donation, along with any specifics you may want that they are willing to do. 

Don’t be afraid to ask if they are willing to accept non-monetary efforts such as watching videos or signing petitions. THIS IS A SFW INITIATIVE. PLEASE, NO NSFW COMMISSIONS.

3)   Content creators will make their commissions and post them on Tumblr, tagging whomever requested the work if they want. Also available to content creators is the “Merlin Fans for Black Lives Matter” collection on Archive of Our Own that @arthurandhisswordbros was kind enough to make for our initiative. If you are able, feel free to share your works on that platform as well.

Please be advised... if this blows up, content creators reserve the right to turn down requests, as they may become overwhelmed by commissions. That said, it is important to communicate with them prior to donating. Should they become overwhelmed, content creators are encouraged to make a post on their blog saying that commissions are closed or paused, and can message me so I can update this post. 

Our hashtag will be #Merlin fans for BLM. Please DO NOT use the #BLM or #Black Lives Matter hashtags, as that will oust the voices and messages that need to be spread and amplified on that tag.

Share this post, have the hard conversations about race and white privilege with those close to you, do your part to uplift black voices in any way you can, and PLEASE continue to educate yourselves on racial inequality and the struggle of people of color worldwide.
