What are your hashtage heel hacks? 👀
These #heel hacks are going to be SO basic for anyone who actually knows how to train a heel, but for me training my first sports dog, they were so helpful.
**A note that these worked for my dog, a brittany spaniel. These #hacks might not be the best course of action for a dog with different engagement, focus, or drive. Don't @ me, I stand by my methods for my dog.**
In no particular order, here are my foundation hashtag heel hacks:
decide what you want your heel to look like before you start training. prancy? jump into heel position? touching your leg? eye contact 100% of the time? all valid, but decide what you want before you start and keep that picture in your brain. be realistic though.
train a pivot right away. we (shoutout to miles who actually taught it) used the bowl method. mav has zero rear end awareness, but you need a pivot for a truly nice heel and the bowl method works great.
train a stationary heel position. treat SO MUCH when it looks like your goal (hard eye contact, touching leg, tight sit, whatever). i used the pivot bowl to start but faded it really quickly so he didn't depend on it.
train a "get into heel position" (finish). start with one side and get it fairly solid before working on the second side. i personally think a right finish is easier than a left finish. i give different cues (get around / get in) but you don't have to. i shaped it but you can lure it with a hand touch.
give treats generously and consistently when the dog is giving you the heel you want. mav has received literally thousands of treats and kibbles for offering a nice heel position.
watch where and how you're treating. you can very easily throw off your dog's position and cause crowding or forging by giving treats in the wrong position. (at the beginning) i hold treats in my left hand and bring my hand to mav's nose so he doesn't move from heel position. i have not had any issues with treats affecting his position, but i know this is one of the most common issues people face.
if the dog is distracted, pause training. i usually ask for something easy like a nose touch, then release so he can go check out whatever was distracting him. i don't care enough to force him through his distraction (although i used to, and it made him not want to engage with me at all).
teach heel off leash if you can, but practice heeling with the leash on a variety of gear too!!! treats in your left hand, leash in your right hand, and keep the leash loose. i don't use a leash to teach heel position but i do practice at least once or twice a week with a leash on.
(this #hack sucks but) literally practice every day. we live and train mostly in a tiny apartment and we practice 5-15 steps of nice heeling every night for dinner kibbles.
I don't use body pressure to teach heel, it just doesn't interest me and i don't mind spending extra time shaping it. with that in mind:
i don't use a wall to keep the dog straight (EXCEPT when i was teaching back up, because mav has no rear end awareness). i shape it with hundreds of reps and treats. if he heels askew, i just ask him to fix himself and he does.
i don't use a platform or the edge of the carpet or anything. i don't want a slightly crooked mat in a trial to throw him off so i don't (purposefully) train any association with lines on the floor.
i only work on heel for tiny, tiny portions of time in a session (45 seconds at a max). for example, I'll do 10 seconds of heeling, then some spins, then some position changes, then a bow, then a jump, then 10 more seconds of heel, then pivots, then fronts, then stays. i keep it SHORT and heavily rewarded and that's how i get nice dependable engagement.
For my next dog, here are some things i'll do differently than mav (mav was my first puppy and my first sports dog, i simply did not know better):
rear end awareness. that dog will know where her butt is is2g.
pivots and stationary position much sooner - mav didn't have this until he was almost 3 years old.
more turns. not even pivots, just working on keeping my dog's attention when i change direction. this was a battle with mav since he was a baby and i only fixed it a few months ago.
That's really it! These are extremely basic foundations and tips (not even hacks) but i didn't know it until i tried it. It takes a long time to get a nice heel, and even longer if you're getting prancy with it, and even longer if you're lazy like me and only do 45-60 seconds of heeling a day.
Be generous with treats and be patient with the both of you.

i know we joke and point out how different things would have been if jason came out to sister chantelle instead, bc there is so little support in his life and the only one who knows His Truth TM is peter, but...
he's Really good at playing his role. peter was picked out as gay when he stepped in for diane during rehearsals, showing he's memorized juliet's lines as he does the choreography with jason, even finishes his lines For him. and yeah, it's obvious, so chantelle has him stay after rehearsals, but.
the thing is, jason was still able to pass as straight. he was Literally the romeo to peter's juliet and, perhaps because he was romeo from the start--due to his popularity--it was inconceivable he could ever reciprocate what peter felt for him.
the thing is, peter did not choose to come out to sister chantelle. he only chose his mom, and also matt as a technical bonus. he did not seek out support--only wanted to stop lying to the people he loves and is close with. he got her support anyway.
jason did not choose to come out--it happened for him. he then chose to come out to father flynn, who i assume was not at rehearsals amd did not hear bc why would he be at rehearsals. begged and cried for support and did not receive. sure, he got a speech about how the church would be his spine, that he could work past it, but that kind of support is a rejection.
so i have to wonder... if matt never walked in on jason and ivy, had never callously, carelessly outed jason--
--would anyone other than peter and matt even know, without a doubt, with absolute certainty, that he was gay?

I understand all these posts with the angle of "OMG new users don't know how the reblog system works -- we have to tell them so they'll reblog art!" Bc that IS true! I have seen new accounts roll up with 0 reblogs & just likes.
But, also, you cannot fucking pretend that the reblog/likes ratio has not been on a massive fucking decline for literal years before this. It is not just new users suddenly not reblogging -- it is a massive shift in how the Tumblr populace itself regards & interacts with art & artist.
& as an artist, there is very little you can do.

Hello.
I've seen you posting detailed information about the WGA strike and wondered if you had any suggestions as to how those of us not directly involved can show our support for the Union?
Okay, bearing in mind that all this is entirely subjective at the moment (and so far lacking any more useful input from other sources): a few thoughts.
This will be my third WGA strike. (My first one was in 1988, just after I'd made my first live action sale—s1e6 of ST:TNG). And the thought keeps occurring to me at the moment that this time out, there's a potentially gamechanging player on the field that wasn't there before: truly pervasive social media.
(Adding a cut here, because this goes on a bit...)
In 2007, social media as we now understand it was still in its cradle. Now, though, those of us who're striking can make our voices much more widely heard. And so can those of us who're not, but just want to show solidarity. Last time, the AMPTP was able to do pretty much what it wanted without the public noticing or having even a medium-profile way to make their feelings known. But this time? Not so much.
So as an otherwise uninvolved person who wants to show solidarity, I'd start with something seemingly low-value. If I was on Twitter, I'd start routinely tweeting about the strike and my support for it—not obsessively, just persistently, a couple/few times a week—using the Twitter hashtags that are gaining ground even now, such as #DoTheWriteThing (and of course #WGAStrike). I would make sure I was following @WGAEast and @WGAWest, to keep an eye on what's going on.
Additionally: I would start politely, but repeatedly—again, maybe once or twice a week at least, and not stopping—tweeting the various major players in the AMPTP, especially the streamers: Amazon, Netflix, Hulu et al. I would start suggesting that their current attitude toward the WGA's contract negotiations is not only unrealistic but potentially (for the AMPTP) bad for business. (And self-destructive, too, as if this goes on much longer in this vein, they'll be seemingly eagerly casting themselves as The Baddies.) I would suggest that their bad behavior, if not amended by them coming to the table to bargain in good faith, might start affecting both my interest in their shows and my willingness to keep paying unreasonable people for access to them.
I should emphasize here that so far there've been no formal calls from anyone for boycotts or subscription cancellations. For the moment, this strikes me as wise. The point for WGA-friendly observers, right now, would be to keep what's happening to the writers visible: to keep bringing it up: to refuse to allow it to be swept under the rug. The "They only want two cents on the dollar!" angle seems potentially useful the more it's repeated. The point is to keep the repetition going: to make it plain, day after day, that the other side's being not just unreasonable, but greedy. Day after day, and week after week, and (if necessary: please Thoth may it not be...) month after month.
And tweeting is hardly all that can be done. Email is cheap and easy. But actual letters, written on actual paper and mailed, can still create a surprising amount of attention in a corporate office. (The saying in TV used to be that for every person who actually writes in about an issue, there are ten, or a hundred, who feel the same way but never got around to it.) Write letters to all the AMPTP members' CEOs, and make your feelings on the WGA's core demands politely plain. ...Especially when those CEOs collectively made almost three-quarters of a billion-with-a-B dollars in salaries last year, when many of the writers working on their shows can't afford rent.
After that: here's another thought, a little more physical. If by chance you're in an area where one or the other of the Guilds are picketing: turn out and support them! Honk when you pass: and if you're interested, show up and offer to walk the picket lines with them. These things get noticed. (In 2007 a bunch of us, both Guild members and non-, caused significant astonishment by turning out to picket AMPTP members' offices in Dublin.)
...Obviously not all that many people are going to be positioned, in terms of location or their own work and time commitments, to show up physically. But online? Find ways to keep this issue visible. The AMPTP wants this to go quiet, wants people to get bored with it, wants people to find reasons to blame the writers. They've tried spinning the story that way before. Don't let them pull that shit. Find ways to back those who're calling them on that, publicly. They do respond to this kind of thing (though they may strenuously deny it). If enough attention continues to be paid by the general public, they will blink—if sometimes excruciatingly slowly, as Disney began to blink over the dispute tagged #DisneyMustPay.
As viewers, and as viewers who pay for subscriptions to things, we far outnumber them. Help be a part of making the AMPTP understand that this quest for a truly fair deal is not going to go away. And the longer they try to act like the Guild's negotiation positions are beneath their notice, the more it's going to hurt them, and the stupider and greedier it's going to make them look.
...That's all I've got for the moment, as I need some lunch. :) ...But I hope this has helped. And thanks for your concern, and your desire to stand in solidarity with us! It's so welcome. :)
ETA: here's a link to the Guild's social media toolkit, for those who'd like to change PFPs or icons, etc., to show their support.

hi loved your Rubi and Charles oneshotes 🥹🥹🥹 it’s the cutest thing ever ,I was wondering if u can make the same with max and Noah or maybe a daughter 😭😭 please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
little boss | max verstappen
I’ve been wanting to write more for max lately, especially dad fics 😭 so thank you for this request!!
Whenever Noah was in the paddock, Max always made sure he was close by. It didn’t matter if he was doing interviews or in a meeting, he had to be close and the team didn’t mind. Everyone loved Noah, including the fans. During interviews, the little boy would be in his father’s arms playing with the cap on Max’s head or giving him kisses on the cheek resulting in many YouTube compilations of dad Max.
“Did you like the race, Noah?” An interviewer asked the boy, holding a microphone towards him.
Noah looked at his dad as if asking if it was okay to talk. Max gave him a nod. “I liked how the car sounds. It’s loud but I’m not scared.”
“Tell them how the car sounds.” Max said as Noah mimicked the sound of his dad’s car which resulted in various laughs.
“He’s actually my boss. He’s the one that tells me when I’m not going fast enough, when to pit, right?” Max looked at his son.
“You were slow this time . . Like when the race almost ended and you came in and I counted the seconds and it was . . “ he counted on his fingers. “It was five seconds!”
“I took five seconds? I’ll try to be faster next time, okay?” Max played along. “See? He’s my boss.”
“Do I sense a team principal in the making?”
“Watch out, Christian.” Max teased.
Other times when Max had to attend press conferences, drivers noticed how much of a dad max acted. He would often mumble throngs to Noah, who stayed with someone from the Red Bull team.
“You’re such a dad, mate.” Charles chuckled as Max got up from his seat and walked to his son to make sure he was drinking enough water.
“It’s adorable.” Lewis commented.
“I don’t want water, papa.” Noah gave Max the water bottle with a frown.
“Okay, I’ll be over here. Let me know when you want water, okay? Be good.” Max placed a gentle kiss on the boy’s head then walked back to his seat. “What was the question?”
Eventually, Noah did want water so he whispered his dad’s name until Max heard. “Water!” Noah whisper yelled.
“I can get it for you.” Max’s manager told him, but Max had gestured for Noah to come get it so the boy did so. Immediately Noah was greeted by the drivers.
“Hey, little boss man.” Lewis fist bumped the boy. “How’s school? You doing your homework?”
Noah nodded. “I got all the answers right on my test and then papa took me to see a movie and it was so funny.”
“That’s awesome!”
After having a drink of water, Max let Noah sit on his lap as the press conference continued. Towards the end, the boy was half asleep. Max kepts his arms around his little boy as he finally went to sleep. Thankfully the press conference had ended so he walked back to his driver’s room so he and Noah could have a nap together.
The next morning, the hashtag daddy max was trending. The hashtag was filled with screenshots and videos of the press conference. Some people even made memes out of the interaction between Noah and Lewis. It was clear that Max enjoyed being a dad and the whole world loved to see it.

Savanaclaw Imprinting on You
I have nothing cheeky to say. Let's do this.
Warnings: My gross misunderstanding of animals, Bullying Leona for being a big chonk
Characters: Ruggie, Jack, Leona
Ruggie imprinting on you is an "oh shit" moment for him. He lives his life so casually and when he sees you, like really sees you for the first time, he's acting unwise. Ruggie will do things for you that he wouldn't for anyone else. He doesn't ask for you to return the favor. He even shares his food.
Now this last one is particularly special for him given that he values food more than his peers. Food is how he communicates and finds pleasure. I won't get too far into the feederism side, but I think there'd be a lot of "You should eat. Have you had breakfast?"
But it's not all picnics and dandelions. Hyenas are pretty scary if you piss em off. So if one of your guy friends touches you the wrong way or tries to tease him about his sudden obsession with you, he will go on the offense. Lots of growling and hes ready to turn them into a hashtag. You gotta drag him away every single time.
"Dude, you can't just go around picking fights with everyone! What's your damage, Ruggie?"
"I wouldn’t be so mad if those assholes kept their hands off of you!"
"That's what this is about? They mess around all the time, it's not a big deal."
"It is to me! I don't like it!"
"Okay, but why though? Why would you give a fuck?" You shake your head, frustrated by the look he was giving you.
"Because I'm jealous!" He barks. "I don't want anyone else touching you but me!" Everything is quiet as you try to process what he just said.
"Ruggie...what-"
"I like...being around you all the time. And all I can think about is you. And...ugh...this is so stupid." His cheeks are cute and pink as he mumbles his way though his confession. And you, you're smiling. Seeing him get so real with you is so sweet and touching. As he's trying to justify his behavior, you place a sweet kiss on his nose. Then he's all shishishi cause he got kissed.
When Jack imprints on you, he's pretty tsundere about it. Suddenly he's hanging around you and by extension the other first years. Its not like he loves you and how you smell and the way you laugh at your dumbass friends. He just...needs to be within five feet of you at all times. Oh, and that tail? It's wagging every single time you acknowledge him or give him attention. The most antisocial boy is suddenly craving your affection.
And of course Ace is gonna clown him for it. Though it feels a little bit different. "Is there somethin you're not telling us? No fair that you two have A Thing going on the down low."
"What are you even talking about?" Jack crosses his arms, clearly trying to keep cool.
"Come on, dude. You lit up when Prefect sat next to you," Ace pouts at the both of you before calling you out too. "Are you together?!"
"Wh-what?! What would make you think that?!"
And all of your friends have examples. Waay too many. And then, Ortho says, "You know, imprinting can happen to beast men too. There's a chance that-"
"What happens between me and Prefect is our business. I didn’t ask any of you to help me confess either."
Major self report. His tail is going a trillion per hour and he realizes what he just said. "Damn it."
"Ha! I knew it!" Ace chortles.
"Wow...that was pretty bold, Jack," Epel hides his grin behind his hand. As for you...
Well, you're smiling like an idiot. It's not like you haven't been purposefully saying and doing things to see his tail wag, make his ears flicker and see him smile a little. You can't pretend to be shocked as you look at Jack for a response. "Well, I guess I should have been honest from the start..."
So there you are, resigned to be a pillow for the biggest cat you've had the misfortune of knowing. Leona loves your thighs and like hell he's going to pass up on your free period to get some sleep. You've accepted your fate, but your legs are just as comatose as he is. As you try to shift around, this catman actually whines in protest. Inside, he's praying you didn't hear it. "Stop moving," he manages to say.
So, Leona's imprinted on you. Now what? Well, you're gonna know quite quickly. Like, it's kind of not a secret since Leona is so shameless with everything he does. Though, he won't actually say "I've imprinted on you." His actions are all the confirmation you need. Actually, he's the most overbearing because he will just drag you away from whatever you're doing just to take a nap with him. Are you in the greenhouse for a class? Well, too fucking bad. Leona wants you to give him attention. You know. Like a cat.
"M'leg's asleep," you complain. "Plus you're heavy."
"Neither of these are my problem."
"You're literally responsible for both."
"You callin me fat?"
"...maybe I am," Leona opens one eye to glare up at you. He wants to be mad. But seeing you so pleased by his reaction makes him melt a little. "What? All you do is eat and sleep what else am I supposed to think?" To your surprise, he sits up. You're about to ask but he flops on top of you, sending you both into the soft patch of grass. Leona's spooning you and your face is buried in his fat (and kind of fuzzy) tits. "Seriously?!"
"Look, you're just going to have to deal with the fact that you're one of the few people I can tolerate."
He's a real piece of work, isn't he? Still, his body is kind of warm and cuddly, huh? He would probably get mad if you said that out loud though.

THE 4D DIARY
What is it?
It’s a journal to rolplay as if your manifestations have already been fulfilled, and write about them like a diary.
Manifestation is supposed to be instant HOWEVER,
many of us have a very difficult situation with our self concept. The objective of the book it’s to help us with the self concept and normalice the desires that we are manifesting in our life.
How does it work?
It’s a small notebook book, (at least once a week) write on it as if your manifestation was already there:
- Describe yourself, not only physically but mentally. Describe your ideal body, thoughts, clothes…
- Describe specific scenarios. Receiving your A+ grades, working at that exciting job, talking with those cool new people…
- Describe how it FEELS to be around your SP. Describe their smell, the way they look at you, the way they treat you…
What’s the purpose?
- HELPING YOU VISUALISE: Imagine yourself as if you were already there will help you change your mindset and habituate yourself of FEELING this way.
- HELP WITH SELF CONCEPT: Every time you doubt about yourself, read the diary, this will remind you that you are ALREADY LIVING YOUR 4D
- HELP TO STOP GLORYING OUR DESIRES: We usually unconsciously glorify our desires making them look as if they where imposible, the objective it’s mainly training our brain to go through this experiences so we stop glorifying them and they actually start showing up in our 3D reality
Recommendations
- Write after a visualisation meditation
- Be “realistic” (What I mean by this is that you should describe your experiences with your own words and personality, you can be truly free with your use of words, don’t try to sound elegant or out of your personality, this has to look like a page of your ACTUAL diary)
- DONT PUT AFFIRMATIONS HERE: This journal it’s not with the main objective of manifest BUT to help you get into the MIND STATE as if you have ALREADY manifested what you want. By adding a list of affirmations you will loose that special personal touch, it won’t look like a diary to talk about your experiences but more like a manifestation journal, for me personally it makes it feel more forced and less personal.
THATS ALL!!
Im the OG CREATOR of this idea so if you actually do it, post it in the hashtag #4Ddiary and tag me in your post!!
bye bye byyyye <3
