Could you send us a pic reference of Katniss dress in the last chapter? I want to be sure I imagined it right.

i’m sure however you imagined it is about 10x as beautiful as anything i or pinterest could conceivably come up with. however, as the dress in question doesn’t exist, i’ve found a few dresses that might help with describing the picture i personally had in mind. because, unfortunately, i can’t draw for shit. i hope it’s helpful, but even if it’s not, thanks so much for the question bc i had SO MUCH FUN thinking through it!

dress 1: this dress captures sort of the flow and overall silhouette i had in mind. the uneven, asymmetrical hemline is pretty much exactly what i thought of for katniss’ dress. however, katniss’ dress wouldn’t have quite as deep of a v, and her dress definitely isn’t a halter; it has straps. the bodice on katniss’ dress would be slightly more fitted, especially at the waist. ofc, cinna tried to convince her all the adjusting she was doing wasn’t necessary for that reason, but we know how katniss gets when she feels more exposed than she’s comfy with!

dress 2: hunter schafer’s dress at the golden globes actually inspired katniss’ dress and the posing scene as a whole. the silhouette isn’t the same, of course, but the fabric and the layered, gauzy ribbons would be similar to what cinna would use. and of course it would—tigris’ impact on the fashion scene in both panem and hollywood isn’t to be ignored! beyond the actual shape of the dress, katniss’ ribbons would be thicker and a bit more opaque.

basically, if you made dress 1 with the fabric of dress 2, using the ribbons to drape the bodice and waist, you’d have katniss’ dress. and, of course, the edges of each ribbon would be dipped in silver, so the dress is accented with a VERY thin decorative lining. however it’s so subtle you only notice it if you have your eyes glued to the dress all night (looking at you, peeta mellark)

I'm so intrigued by how you see visuals. You rank Jimin 1st in BTS for visuals but you follow that up with Namjoon (who I honestly have been sleeping on cos those pics?? PHEW). The similarity I see for distinct features between minimoni is their eyes, but until now I didn't piece that together. I'm a diff anon but do you mind if we expand that ask to celebrities in general? Dan Stevens, Jessica Henwick Join Hunter Schafer In Neon Horror ‘Cuckoo’ – Deadline

Neon has wrapped principal photography on Tilman Singer’s horror Cuckoo marking the feature film debut of Euphoria‘s Hunter Schafer, with Dan Stevens (I’m Your Man) and Jessica Henwick (The Gray Man) joining an ensemble that also includes Marton Csókás (Freelance), Greta Fernández (Santo) and Jan Bluthardt (Luz). (Check out the first still from the film, unveiled today, below.)

Details as to the plot of the film written and directed by Singer are being kept under wraps, though we know the pic shot on 35mm in Germany has been slated for release in 2023.

Executive produced by Tom Quinn, Jeff Deutchman, Emily Thomas and Ryan Friscia for Neon, Cuckoo is produced by Markus Halberschmidt, Josh Rosenbaum, Maria Tsigka, and Ken Kao, Thor Bradwell and Ben Rimmer, in a cooperation between Germany’s Fiction Park and the States’ Waypoint Entertainment. Additional funding came from the Film und Medien Stiftung NRW, HessenFilm and the German Federal Film Fund.
