You knew Naomi since college. Met them before they had met Katie and Josette.

They had been your first friend in college, and since you were majoring in photography, and they were getting their band up and running, you both decided you could be their photographer/media manager.

When MUNA started gayotic, you had been behind the cameras laughing and watching them talk about the funniest topics or the most strangest things. Never on it.

Muna was playing a show in France which meant a long bus ride before the ferry and an impending deadline for a new ep

The three members were about to start the pod, you meddling about in the bus looking for a change of comfy clothes

“Hey, Naomi? Where did I leave my black spandex shorts?” You called from the small hallway

“Yeah, Naomi…where did she leave them?” Josette looked at her bestfriend, eyebrows wiggling

“In my bunk, babe.” Naomi shouted, “We started the pod already, btw.”

“Oh! I’m sorry, thank you, love you.”

You and Naomi started dating after MUNA’s first record came out. You guys had basically been a couple. Kissing and cuddling and sometimes sleeping with eachother ;) had to celebrate records releasing and deadlines being met somehow ;)) WINK WINK 😜

You put on black spandex, your leg tattoos all on display, above ankle white socks, doc marten boot shoes (idk how to describe them..basically their laces boots but ankle boots?) with a black crop top tank so your arm and sternum tattoos are on display (with hair in a half up half down claw clip with curtain bangs out…i wore this outfit today and i loved it LET ME HAVE THIS)

“Y/N, come and talk with us.” Katie shouted into the small doorway of the small room.

“Oh, okay” You walked in, Naomi’s cheeks reddening, smile forming at your look. At you.

“Gorgeous! Do a spin for us!” Josette shouted, her being your biggest hype man

“So, introduce yourself and what you do for us.”

“Uh…I’m MUNA’s photographer and media manager.” You smiled at the camera, this being a filmed ep.

“She’s being modest…she’s our bestfriend and the one and only Naomi’s girlfriend”

“Yes. That I am.” You smiled and look at your partner.

“Prettiest staff member we have. Might kiss her on the lips, among other things…” Naomi said, sliding their glasses down the bridge of their nose to look at you “seductively” while wiggling their eyebrows

Naomi basically has their hands all over you the whole time your on the pod

When Frankie and Gio join, you sit on their lap to make space, Naomi’s hands wrapped around you securely or hands on you hips

“You look so pretty, baby” They’d whisper in your ear when everyone was talking loudly over eachother

or “My pretty girl”

“Okay say bye and then say your name and then ‘I love you’” Katie said after her and Josette said bye

“Bye, thanks for having me, I love you Y/N”

“I love her too” Naomi said, leaning over and kissing your lips before they continued the outro

Getting up after the ep, you stood up infront of Naomi because you were still on their lap, they smacked your ass

“Ow!”

“Oh im sorry, it was just right there…any excuse to touch it” they smiled cheekily

“Haha, very funny” You grabbed the hat on their head, forcing them to stand up

Holding it away until they leaned in to kiss you, their hands holding your waist pulling you impossibly closer to their body

“I accept your apology”

“Oh, I didn’t know i needed to apologize for smacking my girlfriends ass” They stood infront of you, sass all over their face

“Okay, apology acceptance, revoked”

“Okay im sorry. I really am”

“Uh huh”

“Would a kiss better my chances?” they asked leaning in in

“Nuh uh” You rolled your eyes

“Apology sex?”

“There you go, baby. Your getting it now.” You smiled and walked away, blush rising on Naomi’s cheeks once again

Wonwoo was always somewhat of a protector for you. He took it upon himself to shield you from the bad side of being an idol. Comments, questions, people trying to get in your pants. It’s common for a female idol to be burned in the spotlight, especially when they’re around 13 guys a lot of the time. Between dating rumors, fans' assumptions that you HAD to be hooking up with at least one of them, he always shut it down even before you or the company had the opportunity to do so. The night of your debut showcase the company threw a small album release party, family only which included a lot of the members from various groups between pledis and hybe. Your group's videos and concept were plastered playing on the large LED display, which was catching the eyes of some male company staffers and idols. Wonwoo was sitting across the room from you, watching as people praised your hard work and talent. He didn’t think much of it until someone asked him if they thought you’d give them your cell phone number so they could ask you on a date. He wanted to tell them no for you, but figured you should be able to fight that battle yourself so instead he beat him to it. A text pinged in your phone from Wonwoo telling you to meet him outside on the patio just so he can congratulate you, instead of just asking you out himself. Not just as friends, but much more.

jihoon:

When your team manager and the ceo sat jihoon down for a conversation, he definitely did not expect to be asked to help produce a song you wrote for your new group's debut ep. He would have done it in a heartbeat even without the company’s executives praising him and ready to bed for his music expertise. He was always willing to work and help out a friend. When the day came and you stepped into his sacred studio space, he was nowhere to be found, you’ve been in the light colored room often, but never alone. You took your time getting comfortable on his couch, playing with your phone while you awaited the arrival of your close friend. When the door alarm buzzed and unlocked, revealing Jihoon and his arms full of snacks and sodas for you both to enjoy. “Sorry I'm late, I tried to text you but I left my phone in here before stepping out.” “No worries, Hoonie. Is it just us then?” “Yeah, everyone’s a little busy today. That’s cool?” “Obviously. So before we get started should I tell you the concept?” “That would be helpful, y/n.” Jihoon was always a jokester especially with you, it was easy to play around with him. “So, well, okay. It’s basically a song about seducing someone, we’re trying a sexy siren concept.” Taken a back slightly, Jihoon couldn’t recall ever having to be sexy or seductive in a concept before, even as trainee’s when the company had you do battle of the sexes. “Do you have some lyrics?” “Yeah, here.” ‘Fear not my temptation, but deliver me from the thoughts in my own head. Using my voice, I’ll promise to make these boys wind up dead.’ “So you’re basically using boys as playthings and then killing them, praying mantis style?” “Basically, yes.” “Want to hop into the booth and try some stuff?” Hopping up from his couch and placing the heavy black headphones on your ears, a sultry piano and bass riff played. You sang the lyrics both you and Jihoon were coming up with on the spot, not realizing the way you were swaying under the pink lighting of his booth. Touching your body slightly, getting into the groove of the song. “Uh, y/n?” “Yeah?” “Can you stop moving like that? I mean I like it, but it’s a little distracting.” “Oh my god, sorry I didn’t even know I was doing that.” “You’re lucky you’re cute.” “So the seduction of the song is working, is what you’re saying though?” “A little too well.”

seokmin:

Seokmin was the most supportive friend you could ever ask for. He wasn’t shy to tell you how amazing you did while performing or how beautiful you looked in and out of your stage costumes. When he took his seat next to the rest of the boys in the glass box of the arena for your debut showcase. He wore the merchandise and clung onto the picket with your face on it out of anticipation to actually get the opportunity to watch you perform without him. As soon as the lights went down on the stage, the crowd began cheering your fan chant, he studied their words and joined in himself, forcing the rest of your team to do the same. The pitch black room filled with screams made his heart pound fast. Why was he so nervous? You came into his view, the bright stage lights bouncing off of your glowing frame, he noticed your smile as the song began to play. He couldn’t take his eyes off of you, he watched your interactions with the rest of the girls, the fans, and even the sneaky look up to him. He truly felt like your fan girl, singing along with you, dancing the choreography, and shouting your name louder than anybody in the room. The rest of the members tried to get his attention, but he was so intoxicated by watching you that he didn’t hear them. His fixated gaze on you had others watching him watch you. When it was all finally over, Seokmin couldn’t leave his seat for a good five minutes, his heart was beating faster than it should. The guys pulled him backstage to congratulate you. His hands were sweating now, pulling up to your door. Seeing you open it, now in a matching gray sweatsuit, halfway done with taking your makeup off. You hugged the various members and saved Seokmin for last. Whispering in his ear how grateful you were for him. The rest of the guys sat around teasing your biggest fan, laughing at the videos they took as he watched you. You caught a glimpse of his face, a pretend smile clearly embarrassed for the things they were saying. “Okay, guys I’ll meet you at the restaurant. I’m going to take a shower and I’ll be there soon.” With various goodbyes and see you laters you tugged Seokmin back into the room. “Wait. Hold on, mister. You okay?” “Yes, I’m good. I’ll see you at the restaurant, y/n. Good job.” “Stop it. I could tell you were embarrassed by them. Why?” “Not exactly, I guess I should’ve been more careful how I was reacting out there with all your fans. If they have those videos then someone else does too. I’m sorry.” “Why are you sorry? Those are the sweetest videos ever. You looked so happy, Seok.” “I feel like I embarrassed you or something.” “You? You could never embarrass me. I love you. Wait here? Come to the restaurant with me.” “ I’ll wait for you always.” “Good. Let’s keep it that way.” And with a peck on Seokmin cheek, you both spent the night reading all the comments about how sweet his support for you was.

mingyu:

Mingyu got the opportunity to be a special MC for the week of your group's new debut, meaning he would get many opportunities to see you and your friends in action on stage and interview you during the broadcast. When the time finally came and you were waiting for your interview he was prompted by the producer to take the side of the interview stage next to you, simply because fans would love it. Watching you parade onto the stage in your small denim shorts and corset top adorned with black ribbons and lace, made Mingyu’s heart swell. The way your newly blonde hair cascaded down your exploded back was distracting him from his duties as host, just up until the slate came into his view. “Hello, everyone, welcome back we’re here celebrating a new debut today, please welcome Spice. Hello hello.” Claps rung through the studio as your eyes linger on Mingyu’s exposed fangs. “Mingyu, what is it like seeing y/n up here with a group other than Seventeen? Jealousy? Happiness?” Jungwoo’s comments made the rest of your team giggle, watching the over six foot man still tower over you while you stood on the riser next to him. “Jealousy, for sure” “And y/n or the rest of spice how do you girls feel having a self proclaimed kpop fossil in your midst, how are you dealing with her ex-members? Are they in your business all the time? Do they offer advice?” “Well, I know Mingyu’s lying when he says he’s jealous. He actually texted me last night and told me he was proud of me and excited I’m out of his hair now.” Your members agreed with you, stating they saw the text too while you were all preparing for your showcase. “That’s not true. The pride was, but we miss having y/n around to keep us in check.” “Okay, Spice members, we wanted a sneak peak of your debut stage for your song ‘Red Lips’ which one of you would like to give us a little tutorial on the choreography and an intro to the song?” Unanimously your members chose their leader, you to give the two boys a sneak preview of your new track. “Spice’s famous leader y/n, let’s go. Music Queue.” You began the point dance by squatting, tracking your movements with your hands up your body, before spinning your frame around so your back was facing the camera with your hurt in full display. When the clip ended Mingyu put his large frame in front of you so the camera couldn’t hold the shot too long, protecting the last of the innocence you once had when he met you. When your interview was finally over you and Mingyu ended it with a tight hug where he picked you up off your feet that was caught on camera. Safe to say the internet shippers went wild for a long time after that.

minghao:

Minghao was doing an interview for a fashion magazine alongside the other 97’ members where they were being asked about some of their favorite things. Mingyu brought up your group's new song ‘Pure’ and Seokmin brought up how beautiful the music video was, both of them talking over each other about how fun the song is, and how it makes them feel excited when they work out. Minghao was just sitting nodding along, non-verbally agreeing that your group had some of the best new music in the industry and that you’ll be the next breakout idol group. The interviewer then asked other than the newest song by you, which song was their favorite, just keeping the conversation going. Mingyu still answered ‘Pure,’ Seokmin said it was the ballad of your album called ‘Skeletons.’ And Minghao said your first title track, ‘All Over.’ Which was actually banned in many schools for being too addictive, mainly due to the content of the video or maybe the explicit lyrics. When he was asked to elaborate he just simply said that he loves when people feel confident enough in themselves to do whatever they want. The clip was circling the internet, making silly jokes about how maybe Minghao sits around, watching you do scandalous moments for his own pleasure. Which was far from the truth, but he didn’t mind. Getting the opportunity to perform at the same time as you on a music show meant he would get to see the song live for the first time. He watched your group parade around the stage in small skirts and button down tops, imagining himself doing the partner choreography with you instead of the dancer you got assigned. When it was finished you came off the stage, right into his view. “Better in person?” “Maybe. I don’t think you're very into your dance partner though, no chemistry.” “Really? He’s cool and not bad on the eyes, but yeah he’s not very interesting. Kind of a wet blanket actually.” “A wet blanket?” “Yeah, you know no substance. Soggy, whatever.” “Maybe you should ask to swap to someone else?” “No, it’s alright. He did try to ask me out at practice the other day though, literally in the exact moment we were doing that wild floor part, not really the best moment to ask someone out when they’re on top of you. But, go off.” “He asked you out?” “Yes..” “Why? What the hell. That’s unprofessional.” “It’s okay, Hao. I told him no.” “You really should get a new partner.” “Like who?” “Me. I can think of lots of other stuff to ask you if you’re on top of me.” “Oh my god.” “Wait, that came out so wrong. Not what I meant.” “Are you sure? I was a little excited.” “Oh. Well in that case, meet me later in the practice studio. Let’s try it out.” “You’ve got yourself a deal, partner.”

seungkwan:

After watching your debut, Seungkwan was wildly proud and supportive. He’s watched your confidence grow an exceptional amount alongside him. The praise from the fans felt like it was for him a little bit too, not in a selfish way but just because you blossomed into adults together. A few of the idols from your company got asked to be a part of a reality show about a day in the life of an idol, you and seungkwan both agreed knowing it would be fun to do together, especially since you haven’t had many opportunities to interact due to your busy schedules. For promotions of the new season you were paired together for interviews with various magazines and online programs. In the interview with Marie Claire the journalist had you play a game of truth or drink where you sat facing each other and the table between you had stacks of questions. You both were doing well, laughing, getting slightly buzzed on the shots of tequila that were provided until Seungkwan pulled a truth question, trying to buy himself a chance to skip a drinking turn. “What would you do if another idol was making a pass at the other player in front of you? How would you react?” “What kind of question is that? Drink, Kwan” “Can I pick another one?” You and Seungkwan were giggling and laughing over the prospect of someone making a pass at one of you in front of the other, the PA prompted him to either answer or move on, he wasn’t able to pick another option. “Ok, I’m going to drink.” “Ah, come on. Now I’m curious.” “I’ll tell you later.” Seungkwan and you finished up the last of your interviews and headed into the black suv parked outside of the studio. “So tell me now about that question.” “It’s just weird to think about anybody asking you out, I mean I know some have tried, but you’ve always turned it down. If someone did it in front of me? Damn. I’d probably laugh in their face first of all, which is rude I know. After that I’d probably yell at them how disinterested you would be.” “But, what if it’s someone I’m interested in?” “Please, who are you interested in, you've never said anything before?” “You.” “No way. Stop fucking around, y/n.” “I’m serious. Deadly actually. I’ve always had a crush on you, why would any sane single person turn down half of these guys that are asking me out unless they’re interested in someone else.” “You’re sane?” “Shut up. I’m being serious. Stop being an ass, I’ll cry.” “Then if I send your manager a card asking for permission to date you, will you accept it?” “Why not just ask me yourself?” “I’m a traditionalist.” “Then you’ll just have to see what she says when you do.”

vernon:

Naturally Vernon wasn’t a jealous guy, he was just some dude that couldn't care less what other people were up to. He was so excited when he heard that you’d be debuting with new girls at the company, proud that they chose you to lead them with all of your experiences alongside him and the other members of your group. You and Vernon always had a special bond being the same age, having similar stories of how you became an idol, he appreciated having someone around who could understand him only through body language as did you. He came to surprise you and your new team on the day of your debut, carrying coffees, helping the staffers with luggage’s, bandaids, holding the hair and makeup team's bags. He really just wanted to show you he cared and was excited that you were moving on to bigger and better experiences in this industry. Vernon was never one to ask too many in depth questions about concepts and costumes, he knew the company would take care of you and he didn’t want to spoil the surprise for himself. As you were getting ready to take the stage, your manager asked him if he wanted to take a seat with them backstage and watch the view from the side. He told them no, mainly because he didn’t want to be a distraction and also everybody knows the side view is never exciting to see for the first time. As the team filtered out of your holding room Vernon took his place on the leather couch, watching your unit get into their positions. He never noticed your outfit until now, a black leather jacket, tight white tank top, and a pair of tight leather shorts with garters attached running the length of your bare legs all the way down to your chunky loafers. It’s not that he never thought you were beautiful before, but something changed now. He decided to open his Twitter app, seeing what people were saying about your group as you continued your performance. Vernon wished he hadn’t seen the comments about you made by men over half your age about what they’d like to do to you after seeing your bare legs. Suddenly he realized he wasn’t the only one gunning to be with you, but he was the only one who stood a chance.

chan:

Chan always made you feel special, when he heard your group's new song it gave him an idea to beg your production team for a cut so he could create a Danceology as a surprise. Something big and dramatic to make you feel good and maybe a little to impress you. He enlisted the help of his friends Yeonjun and Changbin to make it extra fun for his fans to see three well liked idols performing a sexy girl group choreography made by him. The day came where it was about to be uploaded, so he arranged a small get together with the two of you to watch it’s release on YouTube, you weren’t sure why he asked you to come hangout with his friends and do a weverse live with him, but you never missed a chance to see him especially now with your busy schedules. “Hello guys. So we’re doing this very special live for y/n actually. I have a surprise.” “A surprise? It’s not my birthday, channie.” “Doesn’t matter. I may or may not have made a very special danceology episode for you.” “What the fuck, oh sorry. What? Why did you do that?” “Because I wanted to, the reason we’re here on live with everyone is to watch it before it goes up and you can see it before they do. Sorry everyone.” “Okay, yes. Thank you, show me, show me, show me.” “Alright, y/n may I present to you a special danceology to Spice’s ‘Pitch Black.” The pair of you both clapped your hands as your manager pressed play revealing Chan, Changbin, and Yeonjun wearing black tank tops and different shades of ripped jeans, a match from the music video your group had just released. “Oh my god. This is insane.” Chan didn’t say anything back, but just kept watching you watching his gift for you, until he noticed your eyes click to one of the other three in the trio. A gut feeling had him knowing that your attention wasn’t only on him, but he shoved it down until the fade out of the song came on. “Wow. You guys killed that shit. Yeonjun and Changbin thank you guys too, it was amazing. Thank you.” “You liked?” “Chan, it was so good. That part where Yeonjun came into the front and did the hip swivel thing? Iconic.” “What about me?” You ruffled his hair, laughing confused why he was so serious after you made the comment about his tall friend. “You looked very cute.” “Cute? That’s it.” Aware you were still broadcasting live, you pulled your phone out to text Chan and remind him of it, he told the fans that you guys will come back after going out for some dinner to talk more and reminding them to watch the video before you go live again before saying goodbye. “What was that, y/n?” “What? It was amazing, I told you? Did I say something wrong?” “It’s nothing, just nevermind. Let’s go get some food.” “No come on, no angry eating. What’s wrong?” “Just, I guess I’m jealous. I did all of that for you and you were stuck watching my friend. I’m sorry.” “Because I complimented him on one part over you? That doesn’t mean anything, you were so good. I couldn’t take my eyes off of you the entire time aside from that. You were amazing.” “Yeah, emphasis on cute huh?” “If I tell you how sexy you look, will you stop pouting and buy me dinner?” His award winning smile crept onto his lips. “Only if you tell me ten more times.”

I woke up early today to watch the last twinkmelon ep and tbh i don’t quite know how I feel about it kasjsjsh. for starters I agree with what you said about it. secondly I was SURE that the time travel would happen in the beginning of the ep and then we’d see scenes of the present intertwined with the past but they did the past sooo dirty. NO CHEONGAH GOODBYE???? when her father was like I’m taking her abroad I started to panic and didn’t stop until the very end about what that’d mean for her. just in general the lack of closure with the characters from the past feels sooo gaping. also I didn’t see anyone mentioning it but the family being rich in the future irks me out somewhat. I knew the present would change & having cheongah’s father around means money but that big empty house and family portrait and paparazzi around just added to the lack of closeness between eungyeol’s family that I could feel in the first eps. and why would cheongah want to leave in this place where she had a horrid childhood. their small flat with painted walls felt sooo much more homey and warm :( idk. eungyeol’s reunion with yichan also felt rushed and I kind of wanted them to meet at a similar point they left on in the present so they could reconnect but come from the place of a different perspective especially eungyeol. why do the go back to your father and explain his feelings to him yichan speech if it’s not even relevant anymore in the present!!!!! there are some other things but I guess I’ll leave it at this. as a side note I’m not trying to be negative but the characters and the concept of the story are sooooo good I just feel like they deserved a much better resolution. there are so many things this story could’ve done to be absolutely beautiful them going in a different direction leaves a bitter aftertaste

i think the problem with the drastic change in the new timeline is that we didnt get any scene of family together in the end,, everything felt so cold and distant i just wanted to see them in their house doing domestic stuff? like we didnt need that fancy ending to understand theyre rich and successful now (good for them btw #deserved) i just wanted to see them being... a family (?)

also i agree i hated how they made the family stay at cheongah's house as if it wasnt a traumatizing place for her like they could have put them in a new mansion idk akshksb

and i got nothing else to say tbh you made very good points, specially in the end because it is true that if only the writers had handled things better it could have been a perfect kdrama

HEEEELP not another one of my pal’s faves being eliminated after the Velvet…. this is rlly sad actually

also not crepe lying abt their age as an excuse for their elimination…. I know I’m a diehard licorice fan but even I kinda think he shoulda got eliminated instead,,, just sayin

don’t get me wrong the ep was entertaining in other aspects but uh it did leave me feeling a bit of a profound sadness after watching the episode unfortunately

ALSO also! I was gonna make an argument abt how if crepe wasn’t able to get away with the age thing for long, then what about milkyway??? Uhhh so breaking news today I just realized milkyway is not a child 💀 it’s confirmed. ngl I never would’ve known due to voice and attitude tbh but there’s a lot more short cookie adults now that I guess I’ll have to get used to it lol cus like…. today I realized s’more cookie from ovenbreak was also an adult cus!!! drives an RV someone said!!! I had no idea!!! well the more u know the more u grow 😼👍

Nick finally showed up today in Love Syndrome III and I'm reminded of why he's one of my favourite characters in this (which doesn't really mean much but needs must). Kokliang plays him so incredibly well, too. Why is this guy stuck in support character hell when I'd watch him in anything? Give this man a main role you cowards! 😭

In other news, Rossi is still acting circles around everyone else and he feels kind of out of place because of it. It's like he's actually stuck in a good show with believable emotions and reactions when everyone else is like... yeah... well...

It's not even the fault of the other actors. I know Long and Frank could do much better if they weren't stuck as Day and Itt.

Ugh.

But at least they're not this guy:

Nan. Ugh. I hate him so much.

The way he strolls up to Itt and his friends and brags about his "love life" like he didn't just kidnap a guy (on Day's orders because said guy, Mac, was flirting with Itt) and is currently doing the same thing to him that Day did to Itt in Love Syndrome I is really creepy. I'm still somewhat hopeful that they'll rewrite parts of Nan & Mac's story but it doesn't look like it. Poor Mac. I'd rather they didn't include him at all, even if his actor is incredibly pretty. 😔

Honestly. Just. Same, Nick, same.

But I have to admit... I cackled when Gear, Itt and Night talked about how to possibly tell Day about their shared past. It's good that they pooled their brain cells on this because no way "so Itt dared Gear to get with Night and record the whole thing, so then you did the same to Itt and recorded it for blackmail and anyway we're all happy couples now" would have gone over well with amnesia!Day.

Tbh if I was Day I'd just fake having amnesia and start working for Khun Kamol again because (sorry Joon) he can def get it.

Also, how the hell did Kim ever fall in love with Day?? Ok maybe if he sat somewhere quietly and idk just did people's hair...

Oh, and I almost forgot about the funniest moment of today's ep: when the doctor told Day to uncap the pen as a test of some sort and then the other doctor looked so incredibly proud of him for achieving this monumental task like yeah ok he's got amnesia but at least my boy is still on top of his game:

A/N: Me writing Wednesday’s letters: It’s my business email voice! Standby for for a bonus episode dropping by later today~! ;D Also, I’m going to be changing up the intermissions juuuuuust a tad (they’ll be longer, and we’ll see the chars reactions)

What I think is funny with Wed and Enid is that: Wed is actually serious about crimes, and Enid is like “haha yeah sure” and not serious at all in what Wed is saying. I love a dipshit comedy routine. (but when it comes down to it, Enid is like “Gdi best friends help hide dead bodies!” kinda gal). I didn’t have a fun fact relating to THIS chapter, but I just watched another ep of the 60s show and found a similarity from a previous chapter! (Retrospective) Fun Fact 1: In the 60’s ep, Thing is Missing (spoilers for that ep btw), Thing goes missing and there’s a ransom for him. The ransom is in a cemetery, and when the person goes to drop off the ransom, they are met with a hand (just a hand) coming out of the ground (and taking the ransom). We don’t see it (I’m not sure if the 90s remake ep shows it atm, if it does, I’ll make another retrospective fun fact). (Unrelated) Fun Fact 2: Not related to what’s going on in this season (but is related to the above fun fact), but I thought it was cool. There’s a brushing scene at the beginning of the Thing Is Missing ep, and having watched the 70s sequel TV Movie, it also features that same brushing scene as a call back. Just thought the call back was cool. 8U

Jjba Stardust Crusaders ep 16-20 thoughts

Ep. 16 and 17

This one's a two parter. I didn't talk about the portrayal of the countries visited because I don't have much of an opinion on them. I'm not from from those places. I am middle eastern tho so I wanted to talk about some stuff here.

So, Fun fact! Döner and Kebab are two different foods. It's just that joints that sell one usually sell the other. The food is named Döner (Dön meaning spin, -er being the present simple tense or same suffix in English. Meaning It spins OR spinner.) When it spread to Europe and rest of the middle east it got the name "Doner Kebab". I just thought that was cool.

Bargaining bit is pretty funny. Joseph's advice isn't half bad. I've never seen people bargain or overcharge for street food but It's pretty much expected in bazaars. You gotta learn how to do it if you are a tourist because it's expected also you WILL get scammed at some point.

OKAY, now onto the actual episode. The lovers card is not only for romantic/sexual relationships. It encapsulates all relationships and connections. Dan's stand "connects" his target to himself. I thought the lovers would be two people with matching stands or something. This is a fun take on the card though, omitting the romantic/sexual context altogether.

Wow Jotaro is mad. I don't think we have seen him being this brash before. I think it's funny how Polnareff mutters "He just might" when Kakyoin is says "Are you trying to kill your grandfather?!". He never would, but it's funny that Polnareff thinks he would consider it. (The music for this scene slaps btw. if you even care)

This is a nice bit of characterization of Jotaro. He does most of the things Dan says, while also trying to explode him with his mind. The whole time you're watching you're like "Dan's ass will be absolutely destroyed next episode lol"

Stands being able to shrink like that makes sense, Green Hierophant could do it. Not to this extent but still. Having a battle in Joseph's brain is a fun idea either way.

I think Jotaro writing Dan's bs in his notebook was to help him calm his nerves a bit.

I can't believe the jewelers started beating in him up with a bad, telling him to go back to his country and shit. Made worse by the fact that Jotaro is like, 17. I know he doesn't look like it but the characters seem to be aware of it. They call him "that asian kid".

Ep. 18

^ This is probably the most expressive Star Platinum has ben so far.

I have no idea what the fuck is. going on with this episode.

So the first half is really boring. I'd make fun of Jotaro for wearing a black coat in a desert but it's better than not wearing it at all.

I actually thought something bad happened to Kakyoin but no he is fine.

At the end of the episode Joseph was like "Is that it? The end of the episode?" Jotaro just answers "Yeah shut the fuck up old man"

Ep. 19-20

I did guess there was gonna be a Kakyoin episode my last post. Well, we get two. I'm not complaining, he is shaping up to be my favourite.

Kakyoin's first instinct when he sees the dog is to pet it, which is the correct response btw. The dog dies in 2 minutes because Araki has something against dogs.

Our stand for today is Death 13! It's a better name than just Death tbh, Death is something you'd call the main villain's stand. It's really strong, like, TOO strong. The crew basically stumbles into victory this time. If the other stands are as strong as this one, they might be in trouble. Making the stand user of death, new beginnings and change a baby was a smart move.

I love that Polnareff sees Kakyoin wake up screaming, hears him say he had a horrible dream and the first.thimg he does is tell him to spill the tea.

I initially thought the Polnareff in the dreamworld was fake. There is no way he is that stupid. Turns out he is that stupid, actually.

Y'know, after the third one you'd think Joseph would get rid of planes as an option. But no

This episode doesn't fall to the same pitfall of being infuriating like other's similar to it. You can see why the crew doesn't trust him. If I saw my friend with letters cut into his arm saying a BABY was a stand user my first thought wouldn't be "Oh, I see. We should kill thr baby then."

It is undeniably funny that the people who thought someone having dusty windows in the middle of the desert made them a stand user didn't think anything of Kakyoin's sudden change. I can't balme them tho. A baby stand user feels like a stretch at best.

Polnareff thinking about apologizing to Kakyoin while he is about to die is strangely wholesome. Their friendship is my favourite part of the show, personally.

Kakyoin is the only one to remember the whole thing. He is so energized by the rush of victory that he makes everyone breakfast. Also makes the baby eat his own shit. He was so wild for this

I'm fighting tooth and nail to get these screencaps from Youtube just.to make this a bit more readable. Typing "jjba death..." on the search bar was like entering a mine field.

Anyways, I wanna make some predictions for my future self to laugh at later. Polnareff is gonna be the first to die, assuming he dies, which I think he will.

What Did I Watch: #33

This week, I watched it scrambled like a fucking egg. Happy Eid btw. International dates for Eras Tour is out. I'm dead.

Perhaps I'm too used with people in their 20's acted like they were in their 30's and it was total cringe-fest. Or people in their 30's tried to convince me they were still college students. (Yeah you see where this is going). I don't know about Thailand entertainment industry but one thing, somehow they just don't have fucking clue how to cast someone. But at least from casting division I could really tell, people behind Step By Step were in fact adults with working jobs. Not some kind of teenager getting paid for making fan fiction in visual media.

I came to an understanding that Step By Step will be slow as fuck. I think this was a deliberate move by Tee Bundit. Because you deal with a potential HR violation in which could turn into catastrophic effect to both Pat and Jeng's career. You just can't make them kiss by episode 5 and called it done. But this brought new potential disaster that I didn't see it coming in the first 8 episode. Clearly this show doesn't have a seasoned editor and most importantly, but rarely people mention it, a script supervisor.

Because it has unclear timeline, jumpy transitions between scenes, and weird storylines that didn't push the narrative. It felt like it has so many great scattered ideas but not one conjoined constructive story.

In the article above, it explained that script supervisor responsible to maintain the continuity of its script. There were just too many continuity errors and it's such a pity because it already has the idea and goal, yet the journey seemed taking us to too many places.

I could go on and on about how not having a script supervisor could potentially ruining a series. But Step by Step is not finish yet and fucking let's hope it could stick the landing. It's going to have a rough landing but fingers crossed. (I just saw the preview for ep 12, it is a rough landing indeed. Prove me wrong universe.)

Oh god this little show. What a gem.

I have so much heart and love for Our Dining Table. If this was person, I'm going to hug them until I'm shattered to pieces.

It was hard to be an adult, lonely as fuck, having family but not really felt their presence. I have so much love for this show and yet it doesn't feel enough.

I'm almost 30, and yes I'm fucking tired to just watch myself never get to be represented correctly. A lot of these actors are on the same age as me and yet the story seemed never going anywhere. High school students, college students, barely office romances, and damn even I couldn't even get period dramas without having to deal with censorship (dammit China). When you got older, you resent everything, you became critical with everything. Even I'm no longer consider My School President is that good after I praised it earlier this year. In the end, series that I deemed good is the one that I felt so much connection to it. My emotional investment has to be in all time high. Like what I felt towards this.

The scene that breaks me into million pieces. You just need one person to tell you, you have done enough.

Lastly, I want to talk La Pluie. I don't know where this show's going. I'm scared. Because it could turned out to be great or it could end up like anything else, standard. The whole shenanigans about soulmates, love and everything in between got me thinking. Soulmates is definitely, most certainly, not fate. It's constantly changing, depends on your situation, your willingness, and your effort.

The characters in here, they were learning that they couldn't treat soulmates as if it were fate. As if it something already defined by God.

It is not. So I could understand Lomfon weird reaction on his newfound illness. Because he heard Tai's voice during rain, Tai must be (undoubtedly) his soulmate. Dude sounded like a kid, who wants to know reasons behind everything. Somehow I could sympathize him a little bit more, if the actor knew how to enhance his emotions. It wasn't bad acting, but yeah it kinda dull time to time, to the point I was out when he's in the screen. But yeah it's pulp, what can I expect? People acted like their life depend on it?

Hi! I hope you’re feeling better after your booster. I remember I felt like I was going to hell and back every hour of the day when I got mine but i agree, way better than covid. I always feel like I forget to reply to literally anything you say and I always feel bad because I swear it’s because of the fact that I’m busy babysitting a grown man. But to respond to some stuff:

Yes, he did accidentally steal a dog. Our mom took the dog to the groomers and he went to pick it up and they gave him who they thought was our dog. Turns out they accidentally made a mistake because there were two dogs that were identical (my mom looked for pics because i refused to believe it but nope, they looked like siblings and they gave them the same grooming style or whatever). He then all confused sent a pic of the dog to mom and was like ‘why is he acting so weird whats up with him?’ And even jokingly blamed her for the reason why the dog hates him bc how dare she groom him. And then they called from the groomers because they realized the mistake. At least it was the same dog and not a completely different one because that would be actually dumb on his part.

Also yes, our parents are going through it because of him. The parts that I don’t tell you guys about are when they text or call me to cuss me out because he’s annoying them. The rest of the family finds it hilarious but they unfortunately get the constant texts and voice memos and calls about a fictional character. Earlier this week (i think it was this week? Time is not real for me anymore, my bad) he woke them up at 3 am because he couldn’t sleep because he had thoughts about Britin. Our dad actually blocked his number for a full day after that which didn’t work because my brother ended up calling his assistant at work and pretended that it was an important family emergency (about him btw!!!! Which is fucked up on so many levels right now) and when dad answered all panicked, he went ‘did you seriously block my number because I asked you if you thought Brian is going to profess his love for Justin?’ So they are tired of him for sure. But i think we all know that this is not going away any time soon.

And yes, he is getting more and more curious about the cast. I think it’s because he knows he’s close to the ending so now he has a ton of questions that he didn’t care for at the start. I’m genuinely leaning towards showing him the out of the box interview and Randy’s podcast. Gale’s because it’s so interesting and since he’s obsessed with him, he’ll probably love learning more about him and with Randy he will be for sure shocked by what Randy is like. And omg I actually almost broke character and had an actual reaction when he lowkey went into RPF territory. I have no clue how we/he ended up here but oh boy. I also weirdly can’t wait for him to find out Gale is straight. Because i swear, this man genuinely has a crush on him and i can no longer tell if it’s in a bromance type of way or not.

And he is feeling a little better but unfortunately he had a tiny setback with his recovery this week which sucks. But he is much better and i can tell because for the past few days he didn’t want to watch new episodes and didn’t even speak much about Brian/Britin (except while rewatching old eps) because he was actually worried he wouldn’t be able to give his full attention and watch it properly. And today he was talking to our uncle about how much Brian has changed in the last season and how he has many thoughts about the last season. Which he still has to share with me. And when he does, best believe I will be here in a heartbeat.

Haha no worries! No one is here to hear about my boring little life. You and your brother are the content people are here for.

I am dying over that dog grooming story. I can see how that could happen. One time when I was very little, I fell asleep at my friend’s house. My parents were coming home late from a date night and had the key to my friend’s apartment to let themselves in and grab me. When they got back out into the hallway (this was in an apartment building) where it was light, they realized they had my friend and not me!

Your brother faked a family emergency so your dad’s assistant would put him through? OH NO! That is a bridge too far. Your parents must be so annoyed and angry.

I think we are ALL wondering if what your brother feels for Gale is bromance or perhaps a little something more.

I am excited to hear your brother’s thoughts on Brian’s growth. I totally get only rewatching until he’s in a place to give his full attention.

Confessions from the Firehouse

Hey-o, hey-o! We're back at ya with another one. Today's topic of confession: are you excited for the new season of Chicago PD (that's right people we're going there.

Bex (by far the most positive)

Yes and No. Bittersweet is probably the best way to describe what she's feeling, and she hopes it stays that way. She's sad that Jesse is leaving; Jay is one of her favourite characters and with all the potentials his growth has been hinting at it feels a little like a waste no matter what happens. She's frustrated by the silence, especially with Jesse being so active on Twitter (where she's most active) and liking what he has been...it just screams force out to her. She just hopes that the creative team gives him a good exit with the door open for a return of some kind. Again, It’d be bittersweet, but far better than any alternative for her. She's cautiously excited for Torres, but wants nothing to do with the other new guy coming in (she's a big soap fan and has some not so nice things to say about the dude. Also 'Jamie? Really? After Jay leaves we get a Jamie? I demand a refund.'). After she read the episode 2 synopsis, Bex, who is by far the most pro-Burzek amongst us put her head on the table, and whined 'WHHHYYYY?' If this is more of the same back and forth, trust and trust broken, OR if they use Makayla as a catalyst for getting back together (you know what she means) the she's turning in her Burzek hat. (I have that in writing! She's gonna buy a hat, write Burzek on it, wear it around for the day then hand it to me so I can burn it! 🤣)

All that being said CPD will certainly be different moving forward. Hopefully, it's a good different. One where we get lots of updates from Hailey about how Jay's doing leading his new unit or working the streets again as a field sergeant. And with her gushing about him in uniform. She hopes that Hailey and Kevin step up the most as leaders, though I showed her that one anon from the other day and she slammed her head on the table again! ("Fuck! That's possible. Why's that possible! It hasn't been a rule for more than five years, they better not bring it back!")

While I'm still on my positive train regarding how they'll write Jay out, I'm no longer excited for this season. What'll happen in terms of me watching will depend on if those thoughts come to fruition or not. But to be honest, even then, it would only be for Hailey and Kevin-centric epsiodes. Maybe Torres, but they don't have long to hook me with his character. They have to at least give the dude a personality if they're not going to give him a wardrobe.

Needles (by far the bitter/angry)

A lot of swearing is ahead if you read further. Like A LOT of swearing. I sent him the 10x02 synopsis the other day, and he chucked his phone at my head this morning when I walked into the bunk house (@go-to-two, apparently, I'm still a dick 😆) He didn't even know about the Jamie thing (this came from a call sheet btw), and that just pissed him off even more. ("Jamie? Are you shitting me? He's gonna be a fucking clone too, isn't he? Like Seaver fucking was! Fucking Hell, what the fuck are those fucking morons doing?!?”). He's done. He doesn't care how Jay exits, he doesn't care if the door is left open, and he hopes that Tracy/Hailey leaves at the midseason. Kevin/LaRoyce too, because "the other two fuckwads sure as shit aren't going to have his back." So yeah, if he were a steak, Needles would be so past well done, he'd be charcol. He had a more to say about them and the ep 2 synopsis, if you're curious Message me and I'll give you a rundown. TL;DR: we’re all sad to varying degrees. While Bex does intend to keep watching weekly, it will depend on Jay’s exit and the new dude (“maybe I’ll just close my eyes, plug my ears and hum when he’s on screen” anyone wanna clue me in as to why she’s so bitter about this guy? Did he kill puppies or something? She won’t tell me!!) and we’re working on Needles to at least watch up to Jay’s exit.

I'm doing alright. I've been super tired today because I had a very restless sleep last night.

But I did watch the episode before work. Though it wasn't as exciting as the first episode I still liked it.

I loved the little scenes we got with Nina and Linus.

But Lukas and Barry together...yes please.

And onto Edvin. I honestly think he just misunderstood the question or didn't hear it.

But I love that he talked about movies and shows in plural.

He's for sure used to talking to the media and you can tell. He seems very at ease and knows what to answer.

I've also noticed that he seems to be super happy lately. Like literally shining like the sun in several interviews. I think having some time off did him good. Or he just loves his new hair.

I'm still getting used to it but the more i look at it the less I like it 😂

I figured since it was taking so long, I might as well just shift to ao3 and my work has been good so far - working on a yandere rin wip and I’m about 2k words in but since Uni and work keeps getting in the way, i can’t finish it as fast. But. Ik for the fact that this’ll be worth the wait cause. You’ll see 😏

As for my works getting flagged down, it is an inconvenience, but with every work that does get flagged down - people on the other side of the screen are just proving the fact that they can’t keep up with my writing or the fact that my content is well received and I get mostly healthy interactions. I was pretty angry with it, but then I just decided to take it to ao3 instead and I had been thinking about this for months. I take that this was a sign that I should do it and not leave it as a plan cause tumblr has turned toxic over a period of time, among authors and readers alike. So why not minimize the trouble for everyone go somewhere better? Ao3 had really good content;

More plot leaning and good story lines with occasional smut, and both sides are really chilled out. Plus another thing that disappoints me about tumblr is that smut sells really fast here and even Twitter links get more likes than actual writing. And after thinking over it for a while - I realized that my writings are more to do with things human along with lust than just purely writing about lust yk? So in short, my work isn’t meant for tumblr. And I’m not a very interactive author either - I don’t reblog much works and neither do I have any author I can personally recommend cause I stopped reading fanfics here about 2 years ago and I don’t even check the tags anymore since then, only to see if my work showed up or not. but anyway- i made my moveout official still gonna answer asks and host events here tho - and talk to anyone about stuff in general

now talking about tokyo rev, super happy about the new season coming out and honestly? this is the fastest i've seen them make it cause JJBA fans- ykw i'm talking about. Had to wait so long just for stone ocean part 2 to come out And i'm really looking forward to watching vinland saga (cause that's out and istg - canute is such a pretty boy, this is that one anime that made me cry cause Askeladd. nvm I don't wanna give spoilers) AND YES! you did make it to the matchup event !! (i got your ask) as for the character ask i had fun with it as well - Some of the highlight questions I liked; one of them was a question for Rin, asking if (y/n) was single? and istg the way i laughed cause the way he would have a look on his face after that, Bachira is a ray of sunshine to have - such a cutie (>///<) [take your time on working starry! There’s not rush! Ik how annoying it is to get interrupted when you’re writing something] And tysm for your kind words !! Seriously though I should be thanking you guys for giving me your support esp you starry - cause you were one of the first anons along with blue to actually make a convo on my blog and it kinda made other people wanna talk as well (҂ ꒦ິヮ꒦ິ) And no! I cut my hair shorter too, its an undercut with a pixie so now i look like a fem ver of corpse - And i re-watched some of my old animes - like i had the urge to watch devilman crybaby this week and i did. the only reason i watched that anime was cause of the clip i saw of Akira's... on the ceiling... (ikyk), rewatched death note - cause i wanted to see L and honestly L is THE emo king. (yeah i had a whole emo phase before turning into a dark academia/ classic aesthetic gal -) and alot of people are getting into tokyo ghoul - *finished the whole manga collection at the age of 14* As for gym... story time. I was busy lifting weights and this man. he is muscular sure, got bulging biceps and a lean body and yet. he had the audacity to chase me out of my corner in the gym and take it instead to lift his weights. He looked at me dead in the eye and gave me the meanest look possible. I couldn't take him seriously cause... he was shorter than me... *not size shaming i swear but when you look at me like that - i can't take you seriously* Me : I do not care if you're more macho than me, I will throw you across the gym, you tiny tiny man. And I just finished another whole bottle of water - hope you’re doing well starry! *sending hugs back*
